Dreams Playa Bonita Panama: Grande destination, grand centre de villégiature

Idéalement situé au bord de l'océan Pacifique, avec de superbes piscines. Récemment repris par Secret avec beaucoup de travail à faire pour améliorer les installations. Un peu vieillot et les restaurants ont du travail à faire au niveau du service et de la variété des menus, même si de nombreux articles étaient très bons. Les gens sont très aimables et semblent très heureux de servir mais parfois le service est lent mais vous êtes en vacances, profitez-en.

Great Destination great resort Conveniently located on the Pacific Ocean with great pools. Recently taken over by Secret with lots of work to do to improve the facility. A bit dated and restaurants have work to do on service and menu variety even though many items were very good. People are very friendly and appear very happy to serve but at times service is slow but you are on vacation enjoy.

Ce complexe change de propriétaire et a de nombreux points à améliorer. Le petit déjeuner est le seul buffet, petit. Quatre restaurants mais seulement deux ouverts chaque soir. Le personnel est très désorganisé, il a besoin d'être formé, très peu parlent anglais et ne comprennent pas si vous voulez quelque chose de différent. Le terrain est magnifique ainsi que la piscine. Il est à une heure quarante cinq minutes de l'aéroport et non 75 minutes. Les gens sont très sympathiques, ils essaient.

Defiantly not a five star This resort is changing owners and have many places to improve. Breakfast is the only buffet, small. Four resturants but only two open each night. Staff very disorganized, need training, very few speak any English so do not understand if you want something different. The grounds are beautiful and pool. It is one hour forty five min. from airport not 75 min. People are very friendly they try.

Nous avons séjourné ici du 17 au 24 juillet, en avion avec Sunwing pour un voyage tout compris d'une semaine. NOURRITURE : 2/10 ! Buffet : Si vous aimez la nourriture fade de l'hôpital, c'est l'endroit qu'il vous faut ! Le buffet du petit déjeuner coûte 17,50 dollars américains et le choix est pauvre. Les choix sont très limités et on a l'impression que la nourriture est bon marché ; ils ne proposent que le strict minimum. Nous avions notre buffet inclus mais nous avons très peu mangé à cause  [... lire plus]des choix. Attention aux insectes autour des desserts et de la nourriture. J'ai vu un membre du personnel pulvériser du spray anti-insectes juste devant la nourriture et le manager essayer de les enlever, alors qu'il s'agissait d'un restaurant intérieur ! Restaurant : Le restaurant "gastronomique" Lighthouse qui, selon leur site web, est un "restaurant de première classe avec des ingrédients frais" était terrible. Le bar que j'ai commandé était du poisson congelé cuit au micro-ondes jusqu'à ce qu'il ait une texture de caoutchouc, servi avec de la purée instantanée. Service : 2/10 Par où commencer ? Arrivée : Nos bagages ont été déposés à l'entrée de l'hôtel et n'ont pas été conduits dans la chambre. Check in : On nous a donné une feuille sur ce qui’ n'est pas inclus avec votre forfait tout compris. Nous avons dit au personnel de l'enregistrement ce qui était inclus dans notre forfait tout compris et ils ont déclaré "ça n'existe pas". Nous avons dû perdre du temps à contacter notre représentant de voyage au Canada pour leur montrer que oui, c'était inclus. Personnel : Fait des efforts minimes et seulement quelques membres du personnel semblaient heureux de travailler là. Un seul membre du personnel est allé au-delà et au-delà pendant notre séjour. Aménagements : Didn’t utiliser le spa alors il pourrait être agréable. Nous voulions utiliser les kayaks puisqu'ils étaient inclus dans notre forfait, mais nous avons vu les panneaux dans l'ascenseur qui indiquaient les prix pour les utiliser. Chambre : 3/10 La chambre d'hôtel elle-même est datée et a besoin d'être rénovée ; il n'y a rien de spécial ou de mémorable à son sujet. Le réfrigérateur du mini bar qu'ils fournissent n'a pas d'eau ou de snacks, si vous voulez de l'eau, vous devez descendre dans le hall. Autre déception : le service d'étage. Le bouton du service en chambre sur le téléphone ne fonctionnait pas, pas plus que le bouton du service instantané - "tout ce que vous voulez à tout moment". Il a fallu appeler la réception 4 ou 5 fois avant que quelqu'un ne réponde. La nourriture est hors de prix et ne vaut pas la peine d'être commandée, elle a le goût d'avoir été cuite et laissée sous une lampe chauffante toute la journée. Si vous commandez, ils ajoutent le pourboire à la facture pour le service en chambre ; il est indiqué dans le menu qu'ils ne le font pas ! Nous avons donné un pourboire trop élevé car le personnel n'avait pas mentionné que c'était inclus. Propriété : 5/10 Les piscines étaient agréables ; j'ai aimé le fait qu'il y ait une piscine séparée pour les adultes seulement. Le personnel à l'extérieur a fait un excellent travail d'entretien des jardins et de l'aménagement paysager général. Dans l'ensemble : Nous ne reviendrons jamais ici. Nous sommes allés à Panama City et avons séjourné au Grace, un hôtel magnifique et moderne. De l'enregistrement au champagne au directeur qui est venu dans la chambre avec un dessert gratuit, tout était au-dessus et au-delà. La nourriture au Grace était excellente et les prix très raisonnables, tant pour le restaurant que pour le service d'étage. Je ne comprends pas pourquoi on attribue à l'hôtel Intercontinental une note de 4 étoiles ou de bonnes critiques. Restez en ville ! Les personnes intéressées par une réservation auprès de Sunwing doivent savoir qu'ils changent les vols directs. Nous nous sommes arrêtés à Cuba à la fois sur le vol de départ et sur le vol de retour. Sunwing atterrit à Rio Hato qui est une minuscule piste d'atterrissage utilisée par Sunwing et Air Panama, c'est un aéroport dépouillé sans nourriture ni duty free.

Stay in town instead! Stayed here July 17-24th, flew Sunwing for an all-inclusive one week trip. FOOD: 2/10! Buffet: If you like bland hospital food then this is the place for you! They charge $17.50 American for the breakfast buffet and the selection is poor. You have very limited choices and get a cheap feeling about the food selection; they put out the bare minimum. We had our buffet included but ate very little due to the choices. Watch out for the bugs around the desserts and food. Saw one staff member spraying bug spray right in front of the food and the manager trying to swipe them away, this was an indoor restaurant! Restaurant: The “gourmet” Lighthouse restaurant which according to their website is a “first class restaurant with fresh ingredients” was terrible. The sea bass I ordered was frozen fish microwaved to rubber texture served alongside instant mash. Service: 2/10 Where to start? Arrival: Our bags just dropped at front of hotel not taken to room, No welcome drinks or water. Check in: Given a sheet about what’s not included with your all-inclusive. We told the check in staff about what was included in our all-inclusive package and they stated “it doesn’t exist”. Had to waste time getting a hold of our travel rep in Canada to show them that yes it is included. Staff: Make minimal effort and only a few staff seemed happy to be working there. Only one staff member went above and beyond during our stay. Amenities: Didn’t use the spa so it might be nice. Wanted to use the kayaks since they were included with our package but saw the signs in the elevator stating prices to use them, very exhausted from dealing with the hotels customer service so just didn’t bother. Room: 3/10 The hotel room itself is dated and needs a makeover; there is nothing special or memorable about it. The mini bar fridge which they provide has no water or snacks, if you want water you have to go downstairs to the lobby. Another disappointment was the room service. The room service button on the phone didn’t work; neither did the instant service button - “anything you want anytime” Had to call the front desk 4 or 5 times before anyone would answer. Food overpriced and not worth ordering, tasted like it had been cooked and left under a heating lamp all day. If you do order they add the tip to bill for room service; it states in the menu that they don’t! We over tipped since the staff didn’t mention it was included. Property: 5/10 The pools were nice; I liked how they had a separate pool for adults only. The staff outside did a great job with maintaining the gardens and general landscaping. Overall: We would never stay here again. We did go into Panama City and stayed at the Grace, it was a beautiful and modern hotel. From the champagne check in to the manager coming up to the room with a complimentary dessert, everything was above and beyond. The food at the Grace was excellent and very reasonably priced for both the restaurant and room service. Why they give the Intercontinental hotel a 4 star rating or good reviews is beyond me. Stay in town! For people interesting in booking with Sunwing be aware that they change direct flights. We stopped in Cuba on both the departure and return flight. Sunwing flies into Rio Hato which is a tiny airstrip used by Sunwing and Air Panama, it is a bare bones airport with no food or duty free.

L'hôtel est très propre. La nourriture n'est pas la meilleure. La salle de sport est magnifique et donne sur l'océan. Le spa est bien. La piscine est bien, mais si vous aimez la plage, n'allez pas dans ce complexe. Pas de divertissement le soir.

Relaxing Holiday Hotel is very clean. Food is not the best. The gym is amazing looking over the ocean. The spa was good. Swimming Pool is good but if you like the beach don't go to that resort. No entertainment at night.

L'Intercontinental Playa Bonita est un magnifique complexe hôtelier situé près de l'entrée du canal de Panama. La vue panoramique depuis l'hôtel est à couper le souffle. La plage est sablonneuse mais l'eau n'est pas idéale pour la baignade, ce qui est compensé par les piscines. Cet hôtel est le plus relaxant que nous ayons jamais visité. Nous en avons visité plusieurs. La nourriture est bonne et les desserts sont les meilleurs que nous ayons jamais mangés. Si vous recherchez une ambiance de fête [... lire plus] tard dans la nuit, ce n'est pas l'endroit. Nous n'avons jamais eu à nous soucier de trouver un endroit confortable pour s'asseoir ou s'allonger autour de la piscine ou de la plage. Nous y sommes allés la dernière semaine de février et pensions qu'il y aurait beaucoup de monde. Nous n'avons jamais eu à faire la queue. Le service dans certaines zones est lent mais il n'est pas nécessaire d'être pressé de toute façon. C'est sans aucun doute l'un des trois meilleurs endroits où nous sommes allés. Après Hawaï et le Costa Rica.

very nice and relaxing resort Intercontinental Playa Bonita is a beautiful resort located near the entrance to the Panama Canal. The panoramic view from the hotel is almost breathtaking. The beach is sandy but the water is not great for swimming.The pools make up for it. This resort is the most relaxing one that we have ever been to. We've been to a few. The food is fine and the desserts were the greatest we have ever had. If you are looking for a late night party atmosphere, this is not the place. Never had to worry about finding a comfortable place to sit or lay around the pool or beach. We went on the last week of February and thought it would be busy. We never had to wait in lines. Service in some areas are slow but there is no need to be in a hurry anyways. Definitely one of the top three places we've been. Behind Hawaii and Costa Rica.

Je viens de rentrer de Panama, ce fut une bonne expérience, de beaux terrains, un personnel sympathique, une très bonne nourriture, un temps excellent en février, des magasins superbes. Je retournerai certainement au Panama et j'y emmènerai ma famille.

Very Good Resort Just returned from Panama it was a good experience beautiful grounds nice and friendly staff very good food, weather was excellent in February shopping is great . I would definitely return to Panama and bring my family.

Il a fallu 3 heures pour arriver au centre de villégiature à cause de la circulation. La moitié du trajet s'est faite en stop and go. Il y avait une longue file d'attente pour l'enregistrement. L'hôtel n'était pas au courant de notre arrivée en provenance de Sunwing. La chambre est agréable et tout fonctionne. Le balcon est également agréable avec vue sur l'océan, etc. Le sol est impeccable. Il y a suffisamment de chaises longues pour tout le monde. La nourriture est bonne mais monotone (nous [... lire plus] y sommes restés 2 semaines). Le bar du hall est excellent. Il n'y a presque pas d'activités le soir. C'est vraiment un hôtel d'affaires.

We were disappointed It took 3 hours to get to the resort due to traffic. It was stop and go half the way. There was a long line up to check in. The hotel was not aware of our arrivals from Sunwing. The room is nice with everything working. The balcony is nice too with ocean view, etc. The ground is immaculate. There is enough lounge chairs for everyone. The food is good but monotonous (we were there for 2 weeks). The lobby bar is excellent. There is almost no activities in the evening. This is really a business hotel.

Nous avons séjourné dans ce centre de villégiature du 14 au 21 novembre 2014. Nous avons trouvé tout le personnel désireux de nous aider tout le temps. L'emplacement était bon. Près de Panama City et le canal.La plage et la piscine à débordement étaient bien. Nous étions au 4ème étage et toutes les chambres faisaient face à l'océan. Le terrain était magnifique. Bien entretenu. Très propre.

Awesome staff We stayed at this resort nov 14 to 21 2014. We found all of the staff eager to help us all of the time. Location was good. Close to Panama City and the Canal.the beach and the infinity pool were good. We were on 4th floor and all rooms faced the ocean. The grounds were beautiful. Well looked after. Very clean.

L'hôtel était génial ! Les piscines et les environs étaient toujours propres et le personnel était formidable ! Je recommande ce complexe ! La nourriture le matin et au déjeuner était très bonne et correcte au dîner. Le restaurant "À la carte" le Light House était incroyable !!! Le personnel était très amical et très professionnel !

Amazing resort!! The resort was great!! The pools and the surroundings were always clean and the staff was amazing!! I recommend this resort!!
