Hotel Caribe by Faranda Grand: N'a pas déçu

Nous avons choisi cet hôtel pour notre première visite en Colombie en raison de son sanctuaire animalier en plein air, et nous n'avons pas été déçus. En fait, les animaux du complexe ont été le point fort de mon voyage. Quand avez-vous l'occasion de vous réveiller sous un ciel radieux, dans un cadre magnifique, et de nourrir des cerfs, des toucans ou des paons ? Lorsque nous avons eu la chance d'apercevoir un paresseux se diriger vers un arbre... eh bien, c'était parfait. On ne pouvait pas rêver [... lire plus] mieux ! La chambre elle-même est un peu vieillotte et la porte de la douche ne fermait pas, ce qui semblait être un problème connu, d'après le morceau de ruban adhésif collé en haut de la porte pour essayer de la maintenir fermée, mais ce n'était qu'un désagrément mineur. Il y a une fenêtre dans la chambre qui donne sur la plage, mais malheureusement, elle ne s'ouvrait pas. La piscine était parfaite pour une baignade matinale, elle ouvre à 8 heures. L'hôtel dispose d'un grand espace privé sur la plage où vous pouvez vous détendre en toute tranquillité sur un transat et où il n'y a jamais de problème pour trouver une place disponible. Il y a même un préposé aux serviettes, donc pas besoin d'en apporter une de la piscine. Le restaurant juste à côté est pratique pour prendre un cocktail ou un déjeuner léger. Le service était impeccable, surtout lorsque j'ai mentionné que ma fille était tombée malade et demandé s'il était possible de quitter la chambre plus tard. Non seulement cela n'a posé aucun problème, mais ils ont immédiatement envoyé un médecin et le directeur pour voir s'ils pouvaient aider, le tout gratuitement. Je reviendrai sans hésiter dans cet hôtel si je retourne à Carthagène.

Did not Disappoint We chose this hotel for our first visit to Colombia because of the open air animal sanctuary and it did not disappoint. In fact, the animals at the resort were the highlight of the trip for me. When else can you wake up to beautiful weather, grounds and feed the deer, a toucan or a peacock? When we were lucky enough to catch a sloth making it's way to a tree...well that was it. It couldn't get any better! The room itself is a bit dated and the shower door didn't close which seemed to be a known issue based on the wad of tape at the top of the door to try to get it to stay closed but this was just a minor annoyance. There is a window in the room looking out to the beach but unfortunately, it did not open. The lap pool was great for a morning swim which opens at 8am. The hotel has a large private area on the beach where you can relax in peace on a bed and there is never an issue finding an available spot. There is even a towel attendant so no need to bring one from the pool. The restaurant right next to is is convenient for grabbing a cocktail or a light lunch. The service was impeccable esp when I mentioned that my daughter had gotten sick and asked if a late checkout was possible. Not only was it not an Issue, they sent up a doctor and the manager immediately to see if they could help - all free of charge. I would definitely stay here again if and when I return to Cartagena.

Radisson Aquatica: Détendez-vous et profitez !

C'était un hôtel propre avec tous les équipements dont nous avions besoin et la possibilité de payer les repas les jours où nous voulions rester sur place. La nourriture de l'hôtel est décente mais un peu plus chère. Les pourboires sont inclus, mais il est possible d'en ajouter pour un service spécial supplémentaire, bien sûr. Shayne et son équipe de plage ont été exceptionnels et ont veillé à ce qu'un parasol soit mis à la disposition de ma vieille maman tous les jours pendant notre séjour de d [... lire plus]eux semaines. Nous vous recommandons de prendre quelques en-cas essentiels ou des provisions simples si vous avez un budget limité et d'aller voir le restaurant Sage à proximité si vous cherchez des options végétariennes ou véganes.

Relax and enjoy! This was a clean hotel with all of the amenities that we needed and the option to pay for meals on the days that we wanted to stay put. The resort food is decent but a little in the pricey side. Tips are included but you can add more for extra special service of course. Shayne and his beach team were exceptional and made sure to have an umbrella available for my aging momma every day during our two week stay. Recommend grabbing some essential snacks or simple groceries if you’re on a budget and checking out Sage Restaurant nearby if you’re looking for veggie or vegan options.

Radisson Grenada Beach Resort: Bel hôtel

Le Radisson Grenada Beach Resort dispose d'un terrain magnifique, d'une grande piscine et d'un emplacement idéal, directement sur la meilleure plage de la Grenade. Nous étions assez nerveux à cause de toutes les critiques négatives, mais nous avons tenté notre chance en raison de l'emplacement. S'il est vrai que les chambres ont besoin d'être rénovées, nous n'avons pas eu à nous plaindre de notre chambre, qui se trouvait au troisième étage du bâtiment Executive Beachfront. Il s'agit d'un bât [... lire plus]iment de quatre étages avec un seul ascenseur. Nous avons entendu dire que les chambres de ce bâtiment sont assez semblables aux autres chambres, mais plus spacieuses, avec des salles de bains plus spacieuses. La salle de bains est équipée d'un lavabo avec un grand espace de travail et d'une baignoire/douche combinée. Il y avait un fil à linge extensible dans la baignoire. Il y avait un sèche-cheveux et plusieurs articles de toilette (lotion, gel douche, après-shampoing) mais pas de shampoing. L'obtention d'eau chaude dans la douche était aléatoire. À l'extérieur de la salle de bains, il y avait un petit comptoir avec une cafetière, une bouilloire et un mini-réfrigérateur. Le café et les ingrédients nécessaires étaient fournis, ainsi que du thé décaféiné, mais pas de thé normal. Deux bouteilles d'eau étaient fournies chaque jour. Le lit et la literie étaient confortables mais les draps n'étaient changés qu'une fois en 7 jours. Il y a une carte à mettre sur le lit si l'on souhaite changer les draps. La première fois que nous avons utilisé la carte, les draps ont été changés, mais la deuxième fois, la carte n'a pas été prise en compte. A part cela, le ménage était correct mais pas excellent. Le balcon était spacieux et disposait d'une table et de deux chaises et, bien sûr, d'une vue imprenable. Le buffet du petit déjeuner inclus était adéquat, mais pas exceptionnel. Il y avait une station d'omelette qui était très populaire. L'hôtel était assez rempli lorsque nous y étions et le service au petit déjeuner était médiocre, voire inexistant. Plusieurs fois, nous avons dû débarrasser la table nous-mêmes, chercher les couverts, et personne n'est jamais venu nous offrir du café ou du thé. Il semble que le personnel travaillait dur, mais il n'était pas assez nombreux pour faire face au nombre de clients. Malgré l'affluence, nous n'avons jamais eu l'impression que la piscine ou la plage étaient bondées, et nous avons toujours pu trouver des chaises longues. Nous n'avons jamais eu de problème pour obtenir des serviettes de plage à la cabane à serviettes. Nous n'avons dîné à l'hôtel qu'un soir et avons trouvé la nourriture médiocre. Il y a plusieurs bonnes options de restauration décontractée à distance de marche le long de la plage dans les deux directions. Il y a une boutique à l'hôtel et une épicerie de l'autre côté de la route. Si vous emportez de l'argent américain (qui est largement accepté), assurez-vous qu'il n'y a pas de petites déchirures ou d'écritures sur les billets, car ils ne seront pas acceptés. Dans l'ensemble, nous avons été satisfaits de notre séjour au Radisson Grenada.

Beautiful hotel The Radisson Grenada Beach resort has beautiful grounds, an amazing large pool, and an awesome location directly on the best beach in Grenada. We were pretty nervous going in due to all the negative reviews but took a chance because of the location. While it’s true that the rooms are in need of renovation, we really had no complaints about our room, which was on the third floor of the Executive Beachfront building. It is a four story building with one elevator. We heard that the rooms in that building are quite similar to other rooms but more spacious with more spacious bathrooms. The bathroom had one sink with lots of counter space and a bathtub/shower combo. There was an extendable clothesline in the tub. There was a hairdryer and several toiletries (lotion, body wash, conditioner) but no shampoo. Getting hot water in the shower was hit and miss. Outside the bathroom there was a small counter area with a coffee maker, kettle, and mini fridge. Coffee and fixings were provided along with decaffeinated tea but no regular tea. Two bottles of water were provided each day. The bed and bedding were comfortable but the sheets were only changed once in 7 days. There’s a card to put on the bed if a change of sheets is desired. The first time we used the card the sheets were changed but the second time the card was ignored. Other than that housekeeping was okay but not excellent. The balcony was spacious and had a table with two chairs and of course an amazing view. The included breakfast buffet was adequate, not outstanding. There was an omelette station which was very popular. The hotel was quite full when we were there and the service at breakfast was poor to non existent. Several days we had to clear a table ourselves, hunt down cutlery, and no one ever came to offer coffee or tea. It seemed the staff were working hard, there just weren’t enough of them to keep up with the number of guests. Despite how busy the hotel was, we never felt like the pool or the beach were too crowded, and we were always able to find lounge chairs. We never had a problem getting beach towels from the towel hut. We only ate dinner at the hotel one night and found the food to be mediocre. There are several good casual dining options within walking distance along the beach in both directions. There is a boutique store at the resort and a grocery store across the road. If taking US money (which is widely accepted), make sure there are no tiny tears or writing on the bills as they will not be accepted. Overall, we were happy with our stay at the Radisson Grenada.

Radisson Grenada Beach Resort: Très belle situation

Comme c'était hors saison, j'ai trouvé que tout était très bien, le personnel très accueillant et serviable pour toutes les questions posées pour toutes les questions posées. Nous avons beaucoup appris sur la culture et les sites touristiques étaient aventureux Nous reviendrons dans la même chambre

Beautiful location As it was off season I thought everything was very nice, staff very welcoming and helpful with any questions presented. Learned alot about culture and the sights were adventurous We would return to the same room

Radisson Grenada Beach Resort: Une escapade paisible

Très bel hôtel. Calme avec des chambres propres et spacieuses, un personnel agréable et une bonne nourriture sur place. Pas pour ceux qui recherchent une ambiance de station balnéaire énergique. Mieux vaut se détendre ou s'en servir comme base pour explorer l'île.

Peaceful escape Very nice hotel. Quiet with clean spacious rooms, pleasent staff and great food on site. Not for those looking for an energetic resort feeling. Better for relaxing or for using s a base to expore the island.

Radisson Aquatica: 0k Resort

L'hôtel était correct mais pas génial. Le personnel de la réception était formidable mais on ne peut pas en dire autant du reste du personnel. Le personnel d'entretien se présente à 17 heures pour nettoyer la chambre. Il dit qu'il offre un service de chambre mais le personnel ne répond pas au téléphone. Assis dans le restaurant, vous pouvez entendre le téléphone sonner et sonner. Le personnel vous a traité avec indifférence comme si vous étiez un inconvénient pour eux. Je ne recommanderais pas c [... lire plus]et hôtel. Le seul point positif est l'emplacement et les chambres étaient propres. Ils ont un gros problème avec les algues, donc la plage n'est pas aussi propre que d'autres.

The hotel was ok but not great. Front desk staff were great but can't say that for the rest of the staff. Housekeeping shows up at 5pm to clean the room. Says they offer room service but the staff won't answer the phone. Sitting in the restaurant, you can hear the phone ringing and ringing. Staff treated you with indifference like you were an inconvenience to them. Would not recommend this hotel. only thing going for it is location and the rooms were clean. They are having a bad problem with seaweed, so the beach isn't as clean as others.

Delta Hotels Orlando Celebration: Emplacement idéal...Radisson

J'adore ce complexe pour son emplacement, ses piscines et, d'une manière générale, pour tout ce qu'il y a à faire. Cependant, j'y ai séjourné trois fois maintenant et cette fois-ci, j'ai demandé des chambres accessibles contiguës, ce que je n'ai pas obtenu. De plus, les chambres étaient au premier étage et les moquettes ont besoin d'être remplacées. Le petit déjeuner buffet était excellent comme d'habitude mais les prix ont augmenté. Le service était bon.

Great location...Radisson Love this resort for the location, pools and generally overall. However I have stayed there three times now and this time I requested adjoining accessible rooms which I didn't get. Also the rooms were on the first floor and they definitely need the carpets replaced. The buffet breakfast was great as usual but the prices have gone up. Service was good.

Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort: Bel hôtel

Le Radisson était un très beau complexe, le personnel était sympathique, la nourriture excellente, les piscines magnifiques, la plage merveilleuse, le temps magnifique, les chambres propres, les peignoirs étaient agréables à porter, la climatisation était un peu bruyante, les chambres étaient grandes, les lits étaient très confortables, les oreillers aussi, la seule plainte était que nous n'avions pas de lit king, j'ai réservé ce voyage en octobre, la direction voulait nous déplacer le jour suiv [... lire plus]ant mais à un étage inférieur, les étages inférieurs n'ont pas une grande vue sur l'océan, nous avons donc refusé. Nous sommes mariés depuis 43 ans, nous avons donc gardé nos deux lits doubles. J'ai été à Aruba quatre fois, c'est sûr, il y a beaucoup de magasins, les bus coûtent 2,30 $ l'aller simple, les taxis 15 $ pour la ville. Les habitants de l'île sont merveilleux ainsi que toutes les personnes qui travaillent sur l'île. Les restaurants sont incroyables, il fait très chaud et il y a beaucoup de vent, mais nous adorons cela. Aruba est l'endroit idéal pour des vacances relaxantes. Merci au Radisson, à Trip Central et à Air Canada pour ces merveilleuses vacances.

Beautiful Hotel The Radisson was a beautiful resort, friendly staff, great food, beautiful pools, wonderful beach, great weather, clean rooms, robes were cozy to wear, AC was a bit noisy, rooms were big, beds were so comfortable, pillows too, only complaint was that we didn't get a king bed, I booked this trip in Oct. management wanted to move us the next day but to a lower floor, the lower floors don't have a great view of ocean so we declined. Were married 43 years so we just kept our two doubles. I've been to Aruba four times, it's safe, lots of shopping, buses cost $2.30 one way, taxis $15.00 to city. The island people are wonderful as well as all the people who work on the island. Amazing resturant, very very very hot and windy but we love it. Aruba is the place to go for a great relaxing vacation. Thanks to the Radisson, Trip Central and Air Canada for a wonderful vacation.
