Great proximity to Marigot

Rooms: Basic but had everything you need. Hair dryer worked, lots of hot water and very comfortable bed. Desperately in need of upgrade! Grounds: No beautiful, tropical flowers. The shrubs that are on the property need water and the pots are in disrepair. Restaurant: Nice with good food and decent prices. White linen cloths and chair covers. Bar: Great little bar area. Practice your French! There is a little spot where they have live entertainment however I didn't find the entertainment to  [... lire plus]be very good. Breakfast area: Bright and cheery. Lots of birds flying around. Do not leave your plate unattended! You have to get your own cutlery and serve yourself coffee. I like to have my coffee brought to me and at the very least have the cutlery on the table. Chairs are in bad shape and tables wobbly. Lobby: Nothing spectacular. No wow factor! Shop: Very small and expensive Pool: Liner is coming away from the pool. Water is freezing! Beach: Small and not very appealing. Garbage in the water. All in all it is the staff that make this resort. Also close proximity to town. Very friendly and courteous. If they don't start fixing things this hotel will not be around for very much longer! Big cracks in the cement, decorative trim missing from the roof structure, in need of paint! I would rate this hotel a low 3* Vacationers beware: The hotel can get over booked and you might end up at another resort. It happened to us! ended up back at Le Beach but not in an ocean view room which we had booked and paid for.

Awesome Place

This was a comfortable hotel, we had no complaints and there was 9 women. The rooms were clean and we had clean towels everyday. However I did not like the idea we would have to pay for beach towels, so we bought one instead. They also would not give water at restaurant you need to buy bottle water. The cost of the stay was very reasonable. We used the hotel as a central place to meet and then we headed out to all the different beaches and restaurants. This was a great way to do an inexpensive  [... lire plus]trip. The staff was awesome, I like talking to Katia in the morning she was very helpful.

Very Friendly Staff

The Hotel ,was keep very clean . My room was will looked after by the cleaning staff . Had no complaints . We enjoyed the Beach ,when we were there . We had the Island Side View . There wasn't a lot of time spent @ the Hotel ,we traveled around the Island to different Beaches ,it was just Beautiful . I would go back that's for sure . I traveled with 8 of my Girlfriends and had a blast .

Lovely Hotel

The hotel was clean and quiet. Small but nice beach area. Great location to walk to the local store and a short walk to Marigot to take in the Marina Royal, great places to eat and the market. Overall the stay was very nice. The breakfast is the same everyday and has limited selection. Was thankful for hard boiled eggs as the scrambled eggs were not to our liking. We enjoyed fabulous food in the restaurant for 2 dinners. Very tasty!! The Lobster bisque was superb! All the staff w [... lire plus]ere terrific.

Good location

we were disappointed to not get the room we requested and were too tired to make a fuss when we arrived but are very happy now with our new beachfront vs pool front room. Staff are very nice and the hotel while not on the best beach has a good bar and diningroom and is well located close to the thick of things in Marigot. We have a car so taking off to one of the multiple lovely beaches on the island is not a problem. Would recommend a car if you are a beach lover and are staying here. St [... lire plus] Martin is a fun happening place and feels like the south of France. The very best pizza in town can be had from the pizza truck in the square close to the main marketplace and the station It even has a wood fired oven. He's there every day except Mondays.

Acceptable Resort

The Le Beach resort should be taken in context of its surroundings. In February it was hot, very humid and frequently sporadic rain (combination of sea and mountains). The whole island is a bit of a tourist trap, with high prices, few options, but if one has the time and inclination, lower prices (as much as 75%) are available. The building is old and needs upgrades, while the hotel "nickles and dimes" you on every step (beach towel replacement - $1 each time; coffee - $2.50; resort fee - $5  [... lire plus]pp, per day; water - $3 large bottle - all in US). Room Wi-Fi does not work, have to go into assembly area, while only CNN was available in English). Nearby restaurants serve very good food; hotel food is so-so. Car rental -$40 first day, $20 for second). Location is excellent. Front desk is very good, life however is measured on "Caribbean time" - slow. My rating - 2.5*. One of cheapest hotels in the area. Other Caribbean communities may be better.

Wonderful Hotel

A very comfortable and we'll run small hotel. Very helpful and pleasant staff. Excellent location for site seeing. Wonderful Carribean atmosphere. Car rentals available on site. Local shopping close by.

Amazing hotel!

This hotel was beautiful. The best staff/service I have ever received on a vacation. The rooms are clean and have all the necessities hair dryer, coffee/tea maker, comfortable beds, Tv, large balcony. The beach is small but has beach beds, beach bar, umbrellas etc. The food at this hotel is the absolute best, if at all possible get the all inclusive option and as well get ocean view you will not be disappointed. I would rate this hotel a 5 star because the friendly staff and great food make this [... lire plus] place fabulous and unforgettable!

Great Place to Stay! Love it!

This was a great place to stay! The view is amazing on the ocean side. The deck that is overlooking the ocean is incredible! Would recommend spending the extra to stay there. Food is wonderful. Breakfast amazing! Staff very friendly and accommodating! This resort is centrally located in Marigot and easy to get to the marina-great meals there and the market.
