Awesome holiday

the hotel was great centrally located on the beach and across the road from entertainment, shopping, restaurants. The food at the hotel was typical Mexican the breakfasts were the best. The staff was great as always not my first trip to this hotel. Note the ocean is not swimmable most times high waves, but a great beach to walk.

Outstanding Resort

The Presidente was excellent, the food was very good and the accomodations were very comfortable. In fact, probably the best bed I have ever slept on in Mexico. The service was unbelievable. We are already planning our next trip back to the Presidente.

Great Vacation

We were very happy during our vacation. The food was excellent, and the service outstanding. This was our 7th vacation in Mexico and it ranks as one of our best. Ixtapa is a beautiful area and we will return.

Fantastic Time!

The staff make this resort great. Everyone was friendly, accommodating and personable. Older resort, but clean and well maintained. Get the room upgrade to be closer to the pool/beach. Rooms in the "tower" aren't renovated and some are not so nice. Buffet gets old after a few days, but the a la carts are really good - and no lining up for reservations - you can go as often as you like! Check out the shopping and dining across the street too - really interesting and fun! Everything is close by an [... lire plus]d the area is totally safe. Transit is awesome - take the bus for 10 pesos and see Zihuatanejo. Playa Linda is also a short bus ride away - well worth the trip!

Close to all amenities

well kept resort with a great staff,rooms, a little out dated. Food was plentiful and the swim up bar was really a great place with lotsa good people.Close to shops and theres also a couple of banks close by for money exchange.... overall a great time at a great price... Ola !!!!

Average hotel

First room no balcony looking unto brick wall very dark and dingy and musty smell, however they changed our room right away as hotel was only at 50% occupancy. This room was nice with a walk out to a patio and the pool it was a very large room. Food was ok one night was Mexican festival my husband can't eat spicy and could not find anything to eat we had go outside to get him a meal. Only one a la carte and no reservation needed same staff but different location every night. Entertainment was al [... lire plus]most non existent volleyball was the only thing going on in the day time and bingo in the late after noon. Out of seven nights there was only three shows and these were on weekends when the locals came and stayed at the resort. The area is very safe and we walked around outside a lot, heavy presence of police and military who were all armed. We did a tour of a coconut farm and slat factory and tour of the local area it wasn't worth it.
