Great location

Hotel staff was amazing! Everyone went out of their way to make us welcomed. The hotel is older but functions well as a home base. As long as you aren't expecting a 5 star on a 3 star budget, this hotel is great!! We will be back!!

Basic accommodation, good location

Original resort from the 1960s, facility tired but well maintained, fixtures aged but functional. Good location near East Gate businesses, easily accessible on Tollway 417 from airport, close to tollway and freeway entrances. Two sides of resort adjacent to thick forest, small flock of mergansers in surge pond. Friendly staff, better than we expected.

Great value

Not a luxurious hotel however we stayed here for 2 weeks while visiting Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, Discovery Cove and Seaworld. Shuttles to all parks. There are no safes in the rooms but nothing of ours ever went missing. There are two big saltwater pools as well as two hot tubs which are incredibly relaxing after walking all day long. Hotel is on a main road so it's very convenient for amenities near by and food. Being on a main road we also always felt safe which is a huge pl [... lire plus]us considering we were two girls alone. I would absolutely return in a heartbeat.

Average, does the trick

Provides a clean and safe place to sleep for cheap, which is all you really need. Was apprehensive at first because of the reviews about there being bed bugs, but that's old news. You get what you paid for, which is not a lot, but you're not coming to Florida for the hotel anyway, you're coming for the attractions.
