Superbe emplacement, expérience mitigée

Nous avons visité l'hôtel à un moment où des rénovations étaient en cours, de sorte que les ascenseurs ne fonctionnaient pas, que les options de restauration étaient limitées et que l'on pouvait entendre des bruits de construction. Rien n'a été fait pour les clients pour compenser - tarif réduit, avantages, etc. Ce complexe est magnifiquement situé, mais il est un peu fatigué et a vraiment besoin d'être modernisé. Nous avons trouvé que les frais de stationnement de 34 USD par jour étaient élevés, et les 31 USD supplémentaires par jour de "frais de villégiature" frustrants - au moins les frais de villégiature auraient dû être enlevés en raison des rénovations. La location quotidienne d'une chaise de plage et d'un parasol a coûté plus de 40 USD par personne. Nous avons séjourné dans des hôtels Hyatt et Fairmont dans le passé et nous avons pensé essayer cet hôtel, mais il n'a pas été à la hauteur. La prochaine fois, nous choisirons un autre hôtel.

Great location, mixed experience We visited at a time when renovations were underway, so elevators were not working, dining options limited and some construction could be heard. There wasn't anything done for guests to compensate - reduced rate, perks, etc. however. This resort is beautifully situated, but a bit tired and really needs the upgrade. Staff were friendly, and room was very clean. Grounds and landscaping also needs an upgrade considering the price. We found the $34USD per day parking fee high, and added $31USD daily "resort fee" frustrating - at least the resort fee should have been taken off due to the renovations. The cost of renting a beach chair and umbrella daily was more than $40 USD per person. We have stayed at Hyatt and Fairmont resorts in the past and thought we'd give this a try, but it didn't measure up. Next time we would choose a different hotel.

Un centre de villégiature extraordinaire !

Le personnel de l'hôtel a été fantastique. Nous sommes arrivés après les heures d'ouverture et ils ont été accommodants et très accueillants. La conciergerie nous a aidés à organiser des navettes et à louer une voiture. Le terrain de l'hôtel était très bien entretenu, propre et accueillant. Il y avait un équilibre entre les tropiques luxuriants et le bord de mer qui était également très propre et bien entretenu. Le complexe est adapté aux familles et notre fille de 2 ans s'est amusée à nager et  [... lire plus]à regarder les poissons. Nous avons mangé dans quelques restaurants du site qui étaient vraiment bons, mais préparez-vous à payer ! Ils ne sont pas bon marché. Dans l'ensemble, c'est une très bonne expérience !

Amazing Resort! The hotel staff were fantastic. We arrived after hours and they were accommodating and very welcoming. The concierge desk was helpful in setting up shuttles and renting a car. The grounds on the hotel were so well kept, clean and inviting. There was a balance of lush tropics with the beachfront which was also very clean and well maintained. The resort was family friendly as well and our 2 year old daughter had a blast swimming and looking at the fish. We ate at a couple restaurants in site which were really good, but be prepared to pay! They aren't cheap. Overall great experience!!

Un lieu de villégiature fabuleux

La vue de l'hôtel sur l'océan était superbe, l'emplacement était central et proche de la belle ville de Lahaina, le service était excellent et le personnel était très amical et serviable, les plages étaient fabuleuses et il y avait beaucoup à faire dans la région

Fabulous resort Hotel view of the ocean was great, location was central and close to the beautiful town of Lahaina, service was great and staff were very friendly and helpful, beaches were fabulous and lots to do in the area

Hôtel et vacances fabuleux

Cet hôtel était parfait pour ma fille de 3 ans. Elle a adoré la piscine "lazy river". Le terrain est magnifique et très paisible. Le Sheraton possède la meilleure plage de Kaanapali, idéale pour faire de la plongée, patauger et s'abriter du soleil. Nous avons pris le petit-déjeuner buffet un jour et il était excellent !

Fabulous hotel and vacation This hotel was perfect for my 3 year old daughter. She loved the lazy river pool. The grounds were beautiful and so peaceful. The Sheraton has the best beach in Kaanapali - great for scuba diving, wading, and shelter from the sun. We had the breakfast buffet one day and it was excellent!

Prix très élevé !

Ayant séjourné dans divers endroits du monde, je ne recommanderais en aucun cas ce complexe hôtelier. Le prix était pour le moins extrême, et l'état de la chambre n'était pas très bon et on ne s'en est pas occupé après leur avoir fait part du problème. La plage était inexistante, pour des raisons météorologiques apparemment, ce que je comprends, mais le prix devrait être ajusté en conséquence. Nous avons voyagé avec un autre couple et ils étaient d'accord pour dire que la note de cet hôtel serai [... lire plus]t d'environ 2. Les frais de villégiature ne semblaient pas avoir de valeur autre que le wifi qui est cher. Le personnel de la réception n'est pas très aimable, il ne nous a même pas demandé comment s'était passé notre séjour lorsque nous avons quitté l'hôtel. Je voulais donner le bénéfice du doute et je voulais me faire ma propre opinion, cependant, les autres critiques négatives étaient assez justes. L'autre point qui mérite d'être souligné est la carte prépayée de 100 $ de Trip Central, qui n'était utilisable dans aucun des endroits où nous avons séjourné pendant ce voyage. Dans l'ensemble, c'est une utilisation assez décevante de mon argent, compte tenu de tous les choix qui existent.

Way overpriced! Having stayed at a variety of places at different places in the world, there was nothing about this resort that I would recommend. Pricing was extreme to say the least, and the state of repair of the room wasn't very good and not attended to after letting them know of the issue. Beach was non-existent, weather related apparently, which I understand can happen, but the price should be adjusted accordingly. We traveled there with another couple and they agreed that the rating for this hotel would be about a 2. Resort fee didn't seem to have any value other than wifi which is expensive. Front desk staff not overly friendly, didn't even ask how our stay was when we checked out. I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt and I wanted to form my own opinion, however, other negative reviews were pretty spot on. The other point worthy of noting is Trip Central's gimmicky $100 prepaid card, it wasn't usable at any of the places we were at on this trip. All in all, a pretty disappointing use of my money with all of the choices that are out there.

Merveilleux complexe hôtelier dans un endroit magnifique

Le terrain, le personnel et l'emplacement étaient formidables. Notre chambre était un peu vieillotte mais le personnel de nettoyage l'a gardée très propre. La nourriture était très bonne mais chère. Nous avons apprécié les "happy hours" tout au long de la journée. La piscine et la plage étaient magnifiques.

Wonderful resort in a beautiful location The grounds, the staff and location were great. Our room was a bit dated but the cleaning staff kept it very clean. The food was very good but pricey. We appreciated the "happy hours" throughout the day. The pool area and beach was beautiful.

Un site et une situation exceptionnels

Il s'agissait d'un voyage unique en son genre, c'est pourquoi nous avons examiné attentivement les lieux de villégiature à l'avance. Nous avons été très satisfaits du Sheraton, un établissement agréable, propre et parfaitement situé. J'ai été surclassé dans le bâtiment 6, ce qui valait bien le prix - chambre fantastique, dans un quartier très calme. Grande chambre avec de bons équipements et un balcon directement sur l'océan avec une vue imprenable. Nous avons pu observer des baleines, des tortu [... lire plus]es et des dauphins depuis le balcon. Le salon était inclus dans le surclassement, ce qui était parfait pour le petit-déjeuner et les apéritifs du soir. Excellent personnel d'enregistrement (en particulier Evelyn et Noah) et personnel du salon (Jackie) et personnel serviable et amical dans tout le complexe. Piscine avec lazy river très agréable pour nager, mais toujours proche de l'océan pour s'y baigner aussi. Excellent emplacement sur Black Rock (très bonne plongée avec masque et tuba) et facile à rejoindre à pied le Whalers Village avec ses restaurants et ses boutiques, ainsi que les services gratuits de navette et de trolley pour vous emmener dans d'autres endroits. Nous n'avons loué une voiture qu'une semaine sur les deux que nous avons passées à l'hôtel, car l'emplacement était idéal pour accéder à toutes sortes de choses. Ce centre de villégiature a été un excellent choix et a contribué à rendre notre voyage fantastique. La chambre était superbe, le terrain était bien entretenu et le complexe dans son ensemble était propre et le personnel très accueillant pour les clients. Je recommanderais certainement cet hôtel à d'autres personnes.

Great resort and location Once in a lifetime trip so reviewed resorts carefully beforehand. Very pleased with Sheraton - nice, clean resort with perfect location. Upgraded to Building 6 which was well worth the price - fantastic room, in a very quiet area. Large with good amenities and balcony right on ocean with undisturbed view. Watched whales, turtles and dolphins right from balcony. Had the lounge included in upgrade which was perfect for breakfast and evening appetizers. Excellent check-in staff (particularly Evelyn and Noah) and lounge staff (Jackie) and helpful, friendly staff throughout the resort. Pool with lazy river very nice for swimming, but still close to ocean for swimming there too. Great location on Black Rock (very good snorkelling here) and easy walk to Whalers Village with restaurants and shops, plus free shuttle and trolly services to take you places as well. We rented a car for only one week out of our two week stay because it was such a great location to access things. This resort was a great choice and part of what made our trip fantastic. Room was great, resort grounds were well manicured and looked after, and the resort on a whole was clean with good staff very welcoming to guests. Definitely would recommend to others.
