Friendly but just average

The hotel is in a great central location but is starting to look tired. Dishes in kitchenettes, pillows, bathrooms could all use updating. TVs are ancient but this was a minor concern for us. Rooms are not very sound proofed and given that there is a bar across the street can be very noisy. Staff is very friendly and helpful and did accomodate several room changes for us to try to alleviate noise concerns. Tower closest to ocean has lovely views but noise definitely carries from Gus Gus bar  [... lire plus](great food though). The older tower backing onto the street seemed quieter despite the traffic noise. Music is constantly playing too loudly around the pool, but this is Mexico! The beach is beautiful and great for walking for miles. There is no shortage of great restaurants within an easy walk ie, Panchos, Lucky B's, great coffee shop across the street (Rico's).

Great place

The hotel was super clean and the beach was a dream to walk on. Will go back. The location was great within walking distance of everything.The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool was perfect for children and adults. Lifeguard on duty all day.
