Went with 4 year old and 17 month old. Good vacation

The beach is dated but if you not made of money good enough. You are never in the room anyway. Biggest thing is that when we went the hotel had low occupancy so many restaurants were not open all the time and the pool and lazy river right by the beach hotel was closed. That was the reason we booked to have easy access. No one told us this when booking and was very angry about it. So low crowds may be good but some stuff isnt open. Alot of restaurants didnt open till 5:30. That being said I will  [... lire plus]still go back again. Someone should have told me this especially when booking through a travel agency.

Amazing Resort!

My husband, 3 year old and I had an amazing time at Atlantis. There is so much to do and see. The staff were all super friendly, the grounds were well maintained, the food was good (expensive as was expected. The beach towers a bit dated but it worked perfectly for us.

Beautiful resort!

We stayed in the coral tower in October, 2018. We booked the beach tower, but we were upgraded to the coral tower without our knowledge. That was a pleasant surprise upon check-in. The pools are amazing and the food is delicious anywhere you go - however, the food at any restaurant in any Atlantis tower is expensive. We dined at Anthony's Grill a few times, great pricing for breakfast and dinner is quite reasonable as well. Overall it was a great vacation and we would definitely love to go back!

Excellent Vacation Yet Again

We stayed in the Atlantis Beach Tower for the 2nd time. Last time was in 2014. We just returned August 2017. The grounds as always were beautiful and clean. Lots to see. The waterpark was tons of fun, something for everyone. The beaches were beautiful as was the water and reefs right off the beaches, great for snorkelling. We swam in every pool there, all very clean. The Coral Towers pool was not open yet, though they advertise it is, and it appears it's a long way from completion still. [... lire plus] So beware if you plan on staying there, you will have to use another towers pool for now. The food was great. Movies were fun at night. We did go to Dunkin' Donuts for breakfast in the mornings - cheaper than anywhere on site and just as good - there was also a grocery store in the same plaza and liquor store which were really cheap for snacks and beer/liquor and girly drinks. $2 a beer. We stocked up on that sort of stuff and pop for the kids. You get a mini fridge in your room so its worth it rather than $7.50 on site. The meals around the waterpark were reasonable during the afternoons ranging from $6.50 per person to $12.00 per person and your drinks were refillable all day. There are water refill stations all over, just ask for a cup of ice as the water is a bit warm. You also get coupons that give you 2 bottles of free water you can get at any food and beverage station around the resort per day. Don't drink the water in the rooms that is $7.50 per bottle. We also went to Margaritaville for dinner one night which is only a 3min walk from the resort, really fun and great food/prices. The nachos are massive. As are the wings OMG. My only complaint is the charge for the buffet for dinner - who thinks $63/pp USD is reasonable for anyone 12yrs old and older???? Sorry but that is insane. Other than that prices weren't that bad. The resort credit also helps with the cost. Carmine's was fantastic, wouldn't order more than 2 items per family of 4 or you won't know what to do with the food, there is so much of it. Murray's Deli was delicious as always and my kids favorite was Marina Pizza. My kids loved their nightly treats of Gelato and Brownies from Sun and Ice and my son loved his Milkshakes from Murray's Deli when ever they were open. The rooms in the Beach Tower I must say are dated - more so than our last visit. The carpets are starting to rip around the edges and are stained. The bathrooms are tiny, but functional and clean. Our room was kept clean all the time by the maids. We had no issues with that. The air conditioner worked fine. We had a safe. Yes it is the oldest Tower at Atlantis and it is showing it's age. They do need to start working on it. Personally we found it suitable for our family and our needs. It was clean, no bugs. But could use a facelift. The staff we came across were all friendly and helpful if needed. We enjoyed our vacation and would recommend this resort to anyone. You can do the resort on a budget and don't have to spend a fortune and still have a great time.

Terrible Beach Tower

The beech tower was in bad shape. The room beside us was half gutted and doors left wide open with a chemical smell. We had to move out of the tower. We paid over $550.US to move to the royal tower. The room quality was excellent. The all inclusive plan was well organized and the food was better than any other all inclusive packages that we have been a part of. The restaurant dinning exceeded our expectations. Having stayed at Atlantis twice before at the Reef we felt the meal plan was of good v [... lire plus]alue and we will return to any of the towers except the beach tower.

Family vacation

Nothing but good things to say about Atlantis hotel- grounds are spectacular, very friendly staff, clean rooms, breathtaking beach, lots for children to do and the list goes on! My family and I will definitely be revisiting!

Good resort however dated

Stayed in the villas not the actual tower. Liked being in a villa that was close to pool, lazy river, marine life. Rooms were dated for the price but clean enough. Service was good. Renos should be considered to bring Beach and Coral Towers up to same calibre as the Royal Tower. However for the price you get a lot included such as waterpark and use of pools in all areas. Huge place, good walking exercise if shuttle not used. Lots of pools, kids areas, marine life, activities. Right by the beach [... lire plus] and different beach areas - regular vs. lagoon which was good on the one day waves were rough at the main beach. Waterpark great! Food is way too expensive and not worth the price. Did not do a dining plan because estimated amount to be spent would be less and it prevented overeating. Preferred quick bite/casual spots over fine dining. Lunch place at Beach Tower was not always open so was better to hang out at the Royal Tower. Weather was amazing! Place was not crowded generally either cause of size or time of year. Got a $150 resort credit to be used on anything from booking with Trip Central. Liked cashless system and charging to room so valuables don't need to be taken with you. Lockers available in pool areas though. Rating this based on my trip priorities which is generally amenities and activities available vs. food and accommodation.

Amazing resort

I love this place very nice lots to do they were so very nice And they were always happy to help us in every way they could .The beaches were nice so very beautiful clean and neat . They were very acomadating for us I would differently go back . We were all inclusive the only thing is you have to ask which restaurants were included in our plans but once we did was all good .

Amazingand educational as well resort

The resort was was beautiful food was excellent needs a little facelift but loved the way the resort incorporated the water element throughout the resort from the turtle and stingrays ponds staff very nice and over the top to accommodate love it! The educational element was great!

Very good resort

beautiful resort, good food and lots of activities to do. We really had a good time at The Atlantis Beach Tower. The only problem we had, was passing through The Casino every time we needed to visit stores or restaurant in the resort. I disliked the view of children going through Casino with parents from one point of the hotel to another point. Otherwise everything else was fine. It is a great place for adults. No children.
