Super hôtel !

Le personnel était incroyable et offrait un service vraiment excellent. La nourriture était plutôt bonne, avec trois restaurants sur place (asiatique et italien en alternance). C'est un excellent choix si vous êtes prêt à quitter l'hôtel pour découvrir la ville. On se sent en sécurité sur la 5e Avenue (rue touristique) et l'hôtel n'est qu'à 5 minutes à pied de la plage publique.

Great Hotel! Staff was unreal with really good service, food was pretty good with 3 restaurant options on site (Asian and Italian rotate). Great option if you are ok leaving the hotel and checking out the city. Feels pretty safe on 5th Avenue (tourist market street) and only a 5 minute walk from the public beach.

Complexe hôtelier très propre

Le Reef 28 a été un excellent séjour. Tout le personnel a fait en sorte que le séjour soit très confortable. J'ai trouvé l'hôtel très propre. L'emplacement de l'hôtel était parfait. A un pâté de maisons de la 5ème avenue. Pour un séjour tout compris, la nourriture et les boissons étaient correctes. Mais si vous payez un peu plus pour les produits du menu premium, ils étaient géniaux. Pour le *Reef Playacar* (autre resort) - Nous avons payé $15USD pour le voyage toute la journée entre les 2 au [... lire plus]tres resort. Nous sommes allés à Playacar parce que nous avions entendu dire que la plage était géniale. Elle était superbe, même s'il y avait quelques taches sombres dues aux algues Sargassum, on pouvait passer devant pour voir la belle eau de couleur tropicale. C'était un beau complexe mais il n'y avait pas de personnel pour nous aider à la plage ou à la piscine. Le bar à nourriture n'offrait pratiquement rien d'autre que des frites et d'horribles nachos. Il n'y avait plus de serviettes. J'ai l'impression que le lobby était en sureffectif et que le reste de l'hôtel était en sous-effectif. Les boissons étaient épouvantables. Et pour cette raison, je ne recommanderai pas cet endroit. Je n'ai jamais été dans un complexe tout compris et je n'ai pas vu de personnel à la piscine ou à la plage. À part cela, leur emplacement Reef 28, je recommanderais fortement. N'allez pas dans les autres stations, cela n'en vaut pas la peine.

Very Clean Resort The Reef 28 was a great stay. All the staff made the stay feel very comfortable. I found the hotel very clean. Location of the hotel was perfect. A block to 5th ave. For all inclusive, food and drinks were decent. But if you pay a little extra for stuff on the premium menu, they were awesome. For the *Reef Playacar* (other resort) - We did pay $15USD for all day travel between the 2 other resort. We went to the Playacar location because we heard the beach was awesome. It was great although there was some dark spots from the Sargassum seaweed, you could walk past it to the beautiful tropical coloured water. It was a beautiful resort but there was no staff to help us at the beach or pool. The food bar had barely any food but fries and terrible nachos. They ran out of towels. I feel like the lobby was overstaffed and the rest of the resort was understaff. The drinks were terrible. And because of this, I won’t recommend this place. I’ve never been to an all inclusive resort and have no staff seen at the pool or beach areas. Other than that , Their Reef 28 location, I would highly recommend. Don’t go to the other resorts, its not worth it.

Excellent centre de villégiature !

L'emplacement est idéal et permet d'accéder facilement à la 5e Avenue et à tous les restaurants et lieux de vie nocturne. Le personnel est très aimable et arrangeant. La nourriture, en particulier le petit déjeuner, était très bonne. La piscine et le salon sur le toit sont très agréables et le service était bon. Mario et Geraldine étaient tous deux formidables ! La possibilité de faire la navette vers les deux autres établissements du Reef est également une bonne chose.

Great resort! The location is great with easy access to 5th Avenue and all the restaurants and nightlife. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The food, especially breakfast was very good. The rooftop pool and lounge area is a really nice setup and the service was good. Mario and Geraldine were both great! Having the option to shuttle to the other 2 Reef locations is also a nice setup.

The Reef 28 Playa Del Carmen

Ce petit hôtel de charme a été récemment construit dans un style mexicain moderne, à la manière de Miami Southbeach. Très bien situé, avec la 5ème avenue à un pâté de maisons et la plage de Mamitas à deux pâtés de maisons de l'autre côté. Personnel attentif et agréable et nourriture supérieure à la moyenne. La piscine et le bar sur le toit offrent une belle retraite. Le menu du room service est agréable, le club sandwich étant un succès et la pizza un échec. L'accès aux deux autres complexes hôt [... lire plus]eliers permet d'accéder à d'autres restaurants et à la plage. Le grill japonais du Coco Reef était très agréable avec la possibilité de manger une grosse queue de homard (supplément de 40 $US). Dans l'ensemble, il s'agit d'un excellent rapport qualité-prix et nous avons hâte d'y retourner bientôt.

Small boutique hotel with a newly built modern Mexican 'Miami Southbeach' feel. Great location that has 5th Ave. just a block away and Mamitas beach 2 blocks the other way. Attentive staff that was pleasant and food was above average. Rooftop pool and bar provided a great retreat. Nice room service menu with the club sandwich being a hit and the pizza a miss. Access to the 2 sister resorts provided options for other restaurants and beach. Japanese Grill @ the Coco Reef was very nice with big lobster tail option(upcharge of $40US). Overall, this is a great value and we look forward to returning soon.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour !

Nous avons vraiment apprécié nos vacances au Reef 28 ! Le plus grand avantage était l'emplacement de l'hôtel - en plein centre de la ville. Nous avons arpenté la 5e Avenue tous les soirs et avons adoré la diversité des touristes, les excellents restaurants, la vie nocturne animée et l'ambiance joyeuse qui régnait autour de nous. La belle piscine sur le toit était très propre, chauffée et fraîche. Une chose qu'ils devraient prendre en compte, c'est que tout le monde n'aime pas la techno 7 jours  [... lire plus]sur 7... Le volume de la musique nous convenait (bien que j'aie lu des commentaires suggérant qu'elle était trop forte), mais nous aurions aimé plus de variété musicale (même des airs latinos auraient été intéressants !). La nourriture de l'hôtel était délicieuse - nous avons surtout aimé le restaurant mexicain et nous avions hâte de nous asseoir à l'extérieur pour observer les gens. Les boissons Premium étaient excellentes. Le service était un peu/très lent certains jours à la piscine (certaines boissons n'arrivaient jamais, ou la commande était mélangée), mais le service au restaurant était excellent ! Dans l'ensemble, c'était des vacances tellement super que je ne peux pas reprocher grand-chose à cet hôtel. Même les bracelets qu'ils nous ont offerts étaient à la mode ! :)

We loved our stay! We truly enjoyed our vacation at Reef 28! Biggest plus was the hotel's location - right in the centre of town. We walked 5th Avenue every night and loved the diversity of the tourists here, the great restaurants, hopping nightlife, and happy vibe all around us. Beautiful rooftop pool was very clean, heated, and chill. One thing they should consider is that not everyone likes techno 7 days a week... The music volume was fine for us (although I read reviews previously suggesting it was too loud), but we would have liked more musical variety (even some Latino tunes would have been neat!). The food at the hotel was delicious - we liked the Mexican restaurant most and looked forward to grabbing seats outdoors for people-watching. Premium drinks were awesome. The service was a little/very slow on some days by the pool (some drinks never arrived at all, or the order was mixed up), but the restaurant service was excellent! All in all, it was such a super vacation that I really can't fault this hotel for much. Even the bracelets they gave us were trendy! :)

Vacances fantastiques

Cet hôtel était génial ! Les chambres étaient très belles, la nourriture était excellente et le service était excellent. Nous reviendrons certainement dans cet établissement. service de chambre 24 heures sur 24, menus à la carte, belle piscine sur le toit et bains à remous. Nous avons adoré cet endroit !

Fantastic Vacation This hotel was great! The rooms were very nice, food was great and service was excellent. We would definitely return to this property. 24 hour Room service, a la carte menus, beautiful rooftop pool and hot tubs. We loved this place!

Emplacement et centre de villégiature superbes !

Ma femme et moi avons passé une excellente semaine au Reef 28. La nourriture était excellente, le personnel était bon. C'est un tout nouvel hôtel, donc certains membres du personnel sont en formation et apprennent les ficelles du métier. Le toit était un endroit idéal pour se détendre. La musique était irrégulière et trop forte sur le toit. À quelques pas de superbes boutiques et restaurants ! Le Mamitas Beach club était très agréable. Pas bon marché cependant !

Great location and great resort! My wife and I had a great week at the Reef 28. Food was great staff was good. It's a brand new hotel so some staff are training and learning the ropes. Rooftop was a great spot to hang out. Music was inconsistent and too loud on the rooftop. Steps away from great shopping and great restaurants! Mamitas Beach club was very nice. Not cheap though!
