Club Amigo Costa Sur: Un petit coin de paradis tranquille

Les bungalos étaient bien entretenus et charmants, au bord de la piscine naturelle de l'océan. Les repas dans la salle à manger ou sur le grill sont accessibles à pied. La nourriture était saine, beaucoup de légumes, de fruits, de fromages, etc. Pain frais, poisson, poulet, etc. Le personnel était poli et agréable. Le terrain était propre. Massauge sur la plage très bon prix et valeur.

Quiet bit of heaven Bungalos were well maintained and lovely right at natural ocean pool. Short walk for meals at dining room, or grill. Food was healthy, lots of veggies fruit, cheeses etc. Fresh breadsfish, chicken etc. Staff was polite and pleasant to deal with. Grounds were clean. Massauge on beach great price and value.

Club Amigo Costa Sur: Confortable, Amical

Il s'agit d'un complexe plus petit, ce qui est exactement ce que nous aimons. Le personnel est sympathique et très serviable. Les chambres sont propres et confortables. Pas de coupure d'électricité la semaine où nous y étions. La plage est plus petite que la plupart des autres et comporte quelques zones rocheuses, mais la vue sur l'océan depuis les bungalows est magnifique. Il était très facile de prendre un taxi pour se rendre à Trinidad. Comfortable, Friendly This is a smaller resort which is just what we like. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The rooms clean and comfortable. No power outages the week we were there. The beach is smaller than most and is has some rocky areas, but the oceanview from the bungalows is beautiful. It was very easy to get a taxi into Trinidad. Some of the staff have very good english so it was easy to get answers to our inquiries. The others are trying hard to learn english and are very friendly. I

Playa Giron: Un site et une station magnifiques

Mon fils Lance et moi Allana avons adoré tout ce qui concerne ce complexe. Il y a beaucoup d'activités jour et nuit pour vous tenir occupés, ou pour vous détendre sur la plage, dans l'océan et dans la piscine, tout était magnifique. Nous avions aussi notre propre maison (casa). Nous avons loué des vélos en ville et nous avons trouvé tant d'endroits où nous aventurer.

Beautiful resort and location My Son Lance and I Allana loved everything about this resort. There are plenty activities day and night to keep you busy, or relaxing on the beach, in the ocean and the pool, everywhere was beautiful. We had our own house (casa) too. We rented bikes in town and found so many areas to venture to.

Club Amigo Ancon: Hôtel Club Amigo Ancon

Cet hôtel est un endroit très agréable, juste à côté de la plage qui est magnifique. La piscine est également très belle et assez grande et j'y ai nagé tous les jours. J'ai trouvé la nourriture au restaurant assez bonne et abondante. Cependant, il y avait une chose très ennuyeuse : les moustiques dans la chambre ! Je n'ai jamais su comment ils arrivaient là, mais cet insecte a perturbé mon sommeil et j'en ai eu 56 ! (oui, je les ai comptés) sur mon avant-bras droit. La chambre aurait dû être asp [... lire plus]ergée d'insectifuge mais cela n'a été fait qu'après que je me sois plainte à la réception (4ème jour de mon séjour). Je sais qu'il y a un marais à proximité et que les moustiques viennent probablement de là. Ce fait a un peu gâché mon séjour ! !!

Club Amigo Ancon Hotel This hotel is a very nice place, right on the beach which is beautiful. The pool is also very nice and quite big and I swam there every day. I found the food in the restaurant quite good and plentiful. However, there was one very annoying thing - the mosquitos in the room! I never found out how they get there but this insect made my sleep very troubled and I got 56!! (yes, I counted them) mosquito bits on my right forearm. The room should have been sprayed with an insect repellent but it only happened after I complained at the reception (4th day of my stay). I know there is a swamp nearby and mosquitos probably came from there. This fact spoilt my stay there a bit!!

Memories Trinidad Del Mar: J'ai apprécié le centre de villégiature

La plupart des espaces de l'hôtel étaient parfaits. Les salles de bains ont besoin d'être rénovées car les baignoires sont tachées. 2 jours de suite, il y a eu une fuite d'eau dans les toilettes, sans que l'on sache d'où elle venait. Je l'ai signalé à la réception. Les buffets sont excellents et variés, mais ils n'ont aucun goût. Je me suis porté volontaire pour cuisiner mais je n'ai pas été autorisé à aller dans la cuisine. M. Osmani a accédé à ma demande de cuisiner mais le chef avait  [... lire plus]quelques réserves en raison de la politique de la cuisine. J'aimerais y retourner, mais j'aimerais cuisiner si possible.

I enjoyed the resort Most of the areas were great in the hotel. The washrooms need to be updated as the tubs are stained. 2 days in a row water leakage in the washroom - not sure where it was coming from. I did bring to the attention of the reception. Buffets are great and variety, but no taste whatsoever. I did volunteer to cook but was not allowed to go into the kitchen. Mr. Osmani did accommodate my request to cook but the chef had some reservations due to kitchen policy. I would like to go again, but would like to cook if possible.

A propos de l'hôtel Ancon : vieux bâtiment qui n'a pas été réparé depuis de nombreuses années Le bâtiment a 7 étages, et 2 ascenseurs ne fonctionnent pas la plupart du temps, il faut donc être prêt à utiliser les escaliers, N'attendez pas l'eau chaude, mais vous avez de l'eau froide, pour le rasage ce n'est pas très bon. La nourriture est correcte pour un hôtel 3 étoiles. et si vous avez du beau temps, vos vacances sont bonnes.

Hotel Rancho Luna: Un centre de villégiature désuet qui a besoin de quelques améliorations

Nous revenons d'un séjour d'une semaine à l'hôtel Rancho Luna. Notre objectif a été atteint. Nous voulions du soleil, des journées chaudes, une belle piscine et une belle plage et nous avons obtenu tout cela. L'hôtel est fatigué. Il a besoin d'une nouvelle décoration. Le personnel travaille dur pour entretenir la propriété et elle est propre et bien entretenue. Les chambres sont petites. Le service de ménage est correct. La nourriture est froide. La viande est préparée sur une plaque qui pourrai [... lire plus]t être un peu plus chaude. Mais si vous aimez les choux de Bruxelles froids, le chou froid et la purée de pommes de terre froide, vous êtes à la bonne adresse. C'était une déception, c'est certain. Mais la plus grande déception a été le nombre d'hommes accompagnés de Chikaes ou de prostituées qui étaient là pour la semaine. Je suppose que l'on peut appeler cela louer un rendez-vous, mais étant donné que ce lieu est annoncé comme un complexe familial, j'y réfléchirais à deux fois avant d'y emmener mes enfants. La réception semble ne pas être affectée par l'activité qui se déroule et semble écarter tout problème. Nous avons rencontré des gens très sympathiques de l'Ontario. J'aimerais que les circonstances soient différentes, car nous pourrions envisager de retourner dans ce centre de villégiature à cause de ces personnes formidables, mais cela n'arrivera probablement pas. Ce centre de villégiature est inondé de Canadiens français du Québec dont la plupart sont impolis, odieux, arrogants et bruyants et se sentent comme des privilégiés. Pour cette raison et pour les autres raisons que j'ai mentionnées, nous ne reviendrons pas dans ce centre de villégiature.

Dated resort needing some upgrades Just returned from a one week stay at Hotel Rancho Luna. Our objective was met. We wanted sun, warm days, nice pool and beach and got all of those requests. The resort is tired. It needs some fresh decorating. The staff works hard to maintain the property and it is clean and well kept. The rooms are small. Maid service is ok. Food is cold. Meat is prepared on a griddle that could be alittle hotter. But if you like cold Brussel sprouts, cold cabbage and cold mashed potatoes well this is your place. It was a disappointment for sure. But the biggest disappointment was the number of men who were accompanied by Chikaes or Prostitutes that were there for the week. I guess you could call it rent a date but for this being advertised as a family resort I would think twice about taking my children. The front desk seems to be unaffected by the activity that goes on and seem to dismiss any problems. We met some really great people from Ontario. I wish the circumstances were different as we might consider going back to this resort because of these great people but probably won't happen. This resort is inundated by French Canadians from Quebec most of who are rude, obnoxious, arrogant and loud and feel like they are the privileged few. For that reason and the other reasons I stated this will not be a resort that is will revisit.

Not so bad... Positive: beach, food, chambermaid service, hotel is located right on the beach. Negative: - rooms are very small and majority of them have a door leading into an adjacent room - the day animation is non-existent: during a whole week, we have not seen any day animator - the evening animation in the lobby consisted of the slow popular hits in English, whereas we expected to have the Latino songs in Cuba to dance some salsa and bachata - the hotel is located far from the Cienfuegos airport (1h30min)

Belle situation, plage rocheuse ! Nourriture typique de Cuba. J'aime marcher sur une plage de sable et nager dans l'océan de sable, je n'ai pas pu le faire dans cet hôtel. Les gens sont gentils si on leur donne un pourboire. Je suis venu avec 4 autres personnes et lors de l'enregistrement à l'hôtel, mes amis ont reçu les clés de leur chambre d'hôtel, mais j'ai dû attendre dans le hall pendant 2 heures pour obtenir la mienne. C'était faux, car mon ami a pu changer de bungalow pendant que  [... lire plus]j'attendais dans le hall. Je n'ai pas dormi de la nuit à cause des crabes qui tapaient sur le sol en céramique... traumatisée par ces créatures. Je suis si contente d'être à la maison ! Mes bagages sont restés à l'extérieur de peur de ramener chez moi quelques grosses blattes tropicales et araignées noires.

Will not go back to this hotel. Crabs crawing on floor, black spiders, cockroches! Beautiful location, rocky beach! Food typical of Cuba. I like to walk on a sandy beach & swim on the sandy ocean, was unable to do this at this hotel. People nice if tipped. Came with 4 others upon checking into hotel, my friends were given keys to their hotel room, but I had to wait in lobby for 2 hours to get mine. This was untrue, because my friend was able to switch bungalows while I was waiting in the lobby. Had no sleep at night, due to crabs tapping on the ceramic floors... traumatized by the creatures. So glad to be home!!! My luggage us still outdoors for fear of bringing some of the large tropical cockroaches & black spiders in my home.

Club Amigo Ancon: Un hôtel moins étonnant aujourd'hui

J'ai séjourné dans la même station il y a une quinzaine d'années et je vais comparer les différences entre la station d'alors et celle d'aujourd'hui. Il y a 15 ans, j'ai également réservé avec Trip Central et c'était en effet un hôtel incroyable et désirable pour aller profiter de la plage, des installations de l'hôtel, de la nourriture et, dans une certaine mesure, des chambres. Cependant, à l'époque, il y a 15 ans, moi, ma femme et les amis qui séjournaient dans la station, nous nous som [... lire plus]mes promis de revenir et de revisiter l'hôtel, de passer un bon moment et de tout apprécier à nouveau. Pour faire court, cette fois-ci, ce fut vraiment une déception. Je vais vous décrire les choses que j'ai trouvées inacceptables (a) La chambre d'hôtel n°1 où j'ai été logé n'avait pas d'eau chaude, le siège des toilettes bougeait de gauche à droite (c'était gratuit), le lavabo était décollé du mur, de l'eau coulait sur le sol et le coffre-fort ne fonctionnait pas. (b) Le coffre-fort de la chambre n°2 n'a pas fonctionné pendant les 7 jours (ils n'ont pas pu le réparer). Il n'y a pas eu d'eau chaude pendant les 7 jours. Ils m'ont proposé une autre chambre, mais comme j'avais déjà changé de chambre la veille pour la même raison, j'ai refusé. Apparemment, j'ai découvert plus tard que d'autres personnes du groupe avaient eu le même problème avec l'eau chaude et le coffre-fort. (c) Devant les ascenseurs, il n'y a pas de lumière (il fait vraiment sombre) et la plupart du temps, un seul ascenseur fonctionnait. Une fois, j'étais assise dans le hall le soir et un groupe de personnes âgées essayait d'atteindre l'ascenseur avec leurs affaires... c'était vraiment mal vu (d) La nourriture n'était pas bien préparée et il y avait beaucoup de mouches dans le restaurant. J'ai visité Cuba de nombreuses fois (j'ai oublié combien de fois), peut-être 20 ou 25 fois. J'aime Cuba et j'y retournerai, mais je ne retournerai pas dans ce centre de villégiature

Not so Amazing hotel today I was at the same resort about 15 years ago and I will compare the differences between resort then and now. Fifteen years ago I booked also with Trip Central and it was indeed amazing and desirable hotel to go and enjoy the beach the hotel facilities, the food and to some degree the rooms. However, at those days 15 years ago I myself, my wife and friends that were staying in the resort we promised to come back and revisit the hotel and have a good time and enjoy everything all over again. So to make a long story short, this time around it was really a disappointment. I will outline things that I found unacceptable (a) The hotel room #1 where they put me to stay did not have a hot water, the toilet seat was moving left and right (it was free), the basin was off the wall, water was sitting on the floor and the safe was not working. (b) The safe in the room #2 was not working all 7 days (they could not repair it). There was no hot water for all 7 days. They did offer another room, but because I already changed room once, the day before for the same reason I decline. Apparently, I found later some other people in the group had the same problem with hot water and safe. (c) In front of the elevators there is no light ( it's really dark) and most of the time only one elevator was working. Once I was sitting in the lobby in the evening where a group of older people where trying to get to the elevator with their belongings...it was really said seen (d) The food was not well prepared, and there were L O T S of FLIES and FLIES in the restaurant. I have visited Cuba many, many times (I forget how many times) maybe 20 or 25. I love Cuba and I will go to Cuba again but I will not go back to this resort

Cette propriété offre un rapport qualité-prix exceptionnel et le personnel est formidable ! Je vous recommande cependant de ne PAS voyager avec Cubana airlines. Leur service est le pire qui soit, et ils ont TOUJOURS des retards dus à des problèmes mécaniques.

Awesome vacation This property offers exceptional value, and the staff are awesome! I recommend though that you do NOT travel with Cubana airlines. Their service is the worst, and they are ALWAYS suffering delays due to mechanical issues.

Hotel Rancho Luna: J'adore les terrains !!!

C'était la première fois que je venais ici, j'ai adoré le terrain avec ses belles plantes et la disposition des chambres, c'était amusant de voir les chevaux dans le champ et les poules qui se promenaient près du bar de la plage. Le service de nettoyage était excellent. Le personnel était cordial. Les inconvénients ne sont pas dus à l'hôtel mais à la nature. Il n'y avait pas une grande variété de fruits et ceux que j'ai mangés n'étaient pas mûrs. C'est la huitième fois que je viens à Cuba, mais  [... lire plus]la première fois en janvier. Je ne reviendrais pas en janvier, mais je reviendrais probablement.

Love the grounds!!! This was my first time here, just loved the grounds with beautiful plants.Also layout of the room.it was fun to see the horses in the field.and hens walking around near the beach bar. The maid service was great. And staff were cordial. The down side I'm sure was not fault of hotel.but by mother nature. Not a great variety of fruit.and.what I ate was not ripe. This is my 8th time to Cuba.but 1st time in January. I would not come back in January.but probably would return.

Hotel Rancho Luna: première visite

a ma grande surprise, l'hôtel était propre et confortable. alors que ce sont les petites choses qui manquaient comme un cocktail d'accueil, des porteurs pour nos sacs mais en raison d'une heure très tardive, ils ont proposé des sandwichs au snack bar les chambres étaient correctes l'eau chaude était chaude l'accès aux fauteuils roulants était très pratique pour se déplacer sur le site dans l'ensemble, le séjour a été agréable

first time visit well much to my surprise the hotel was clean and comfortable. whereas its the little things that were missing like a greeting cocktail porters for our bags but due to a very late they did offer sandwiches at the snack bar rooms were decent hot water was hot wheelchair accessible was great to see all around the site overall it was a pleasance stay

Hotel Rancho Luna: Rancho Luna Cuba Cienfugos

J'ai été très surpris, j'y avais séjourné il y a un an, ce n'était pas si mal, mais cette fois j'ai fait un très bon voyage, l'un des meilleurs que j'aie jamais faits.La chambre était superbe, elle ressemblait à une carte postale quand j'ai ouvert les rideaux. La nourriture était excellente, je n'ai jamais eu faim, il y avait plein de bonnes choses à manger à chaque repas, j'ai mangé le meilleur rôti de porc et la meilleure sauce que j'ai jamais mangé. WoW i was really surprised .For me i stayed there a year ago .It was not to bad.But this time i had a great trip one of the best i have ever had.Great room looked like a post card when i opened the curtains. what a view..People were super friendly could talk to anyone.the staff all ways had a smile and very helpful. The food was great i was never hungry lots of great things to eat at every meal .Had the best roast pork and gravy i have ever had. I will go back just for that.Thanks to Rick Lockhart at Tripcentral .He did a great job ..i hope to book with him very soon. Thanks to all who helped make my trip great. Jeff Barta

Hotel Rancho Luna: Grand centre de villégiature

J'ai adoré la disposition de Rancho Luna. Le fait d'avoir la plage juste à côté était un bonus ! Le restaurant était excellent pour le choix des plats. L'équipe de nettoyage nous a aidés tous les jours à rendre notre séjour agréable en arrivant dans la chambre avec le lit fait et une chambre propre. Tous les employés sont si amicaux et serviables ! Ayant des difficultés à marcher, c'était très accessible pour moi ! Louisa s'est également démenée pour récupérer mes bagages perdus à l'aéroport.

Great resort I loved the layout of Rancho Luna. Having the beach right there was a bonus! The restaurant was amazing for choices of food. The cleaning staff helped us everyday making our stay enjoyable coming into the room with the bed made and a clean room. All the workers are so friendly and helpful! Having a hard time walking it was very accessible for me! Also Louisa went out of her way to retrieve my lost luggage at the airport.

C'est notre deuxième séjour à Rancho Luna Cienfuegos. Très bonne nourriture, hôtel propre, personnel sympathique, nous reviendrons dans ce complexe. Roy a été notre personne préférée. Je dois mentionner Luisa qui est une personne très gentille avec une belle personnalité

Club Amigo Ancon: Satisfaisant

La piscine était toute neuve. Très grande et très propre. La plage était propre et il y avait beaucoup de nouvelles chaises de plage et beaucoup de parasols. Le personnel de la réception était sympathique et arrangeant. Tout était propre Je ne suis pas tombé malade. La nourriture était préparée avec de l'eau traitée. La nourriture était savoureuse, mais aurait pu être un peu plus variée La douche ne fonctionnait pas correctement. Satisfactory The pool was brand new. Very large and very clean. The beach was clean and there was lots of new beach chairs and lots of palm umbrellas. The staff at the reception area were friendly and accommodating. Everything was clean Did not get sick. The food was prepared with treated water. The food was tasty, but could have had a little more variety The shower was not working properly. Rooms were clean, but could have been a little more spacious

Nous avons passé un excellent moment au Club Amigo Ancon. Rupert, c'était un plaisir de rencontrer ta mère et toi aussi, tu fais vraiment un travail formidable pour que tous les clients soient heureux. Rollie au snack-bar fait des pizzas extraordinaires, Hector au bar de la piscine continue à porter son chapeau du Canada ! Il vous apporte toujours votre boisson lorsqu'il vous voit arriver. Les gars de la piscine sont incroyables, ils gardent vraiment la piscine propre. Adze au service clien [... lire plus]tèle très serviable. Nous n'avions pas d'eau chaude mais à Cuba cela arrive et il faisait assez chaud pour que vous ne vouliez pas vraiment de l'eau chaude parce que vous voulez vous rafraîchir. Le lundi, il y a eu un gros orage et lorsque nous sommes retournés dans notre chambre, l'eau coulait comme les chutes du Niagara et tout flottait. Le personnel a été très arrangeant et nous a déplacés immédiatement. La femme de chambre (Marissa, je crois que c'était son nom) est venue nous chercher une autre chambre et nous a aidés à déménager nos affaires, elle m'a proposé de prendre mes affaires personnelles pour les laver et me les ramener. C'est ça le vrai service à la clientèle. La première chambre que nous avons eue dans le bâtiment principal 631 était grande et spacieuse, avec un petit coin salon et une grande terrasse, mais malheureusement, en raison du temps, nous avons dû déménager. La nourriture était conforme aux normes de Cuba, vous pouviez toujours trouver quelque chose à manger, quoi qu'il arrive. Umberto, à la station d'œufs, est formidable, toujours souriant et vous apporte ce dont vous avez besoin tous les matins. Toute l'équipe de la cuisine était formidable. À notre chère amie Nessy, j'espère que tu apprécieras les tootsie rolls..... Tu nous manqueras toujours et on se reverra bientôt. Une dernière chose, pour l'argent que vous payez, c'est un super complexe, vous ne mourrez pas de faim, vous dormirez bien et vous vous amuserez beaucoup. C'est vous qui faites de vos vacances ce que vous voulez qu'elles soient. Ne lisez pas toutes les critiques négatives parce que vous devez donner votre propre avis, car chaque opinion est la sienne. Si vous vous attendez au Hilton, vous ne le trouverez pas à Cuba, mais vous trouverez un personnel formidable et de nouveaux amis. A toute l'équipe du Club Amigo Ancon, bon travail et à bientôt.

Amazing Time - Recommended What an amazing time we had at Club Amigo Ancon. From the front staff to the Snack bar staff and the entertainment staff - Rupert it was really nice to meet your mom and you as well you really do a great job keep all the guests happy. Rollie in the snack bar makes amazing Pizza's, Hector at the Pool Bar keep wearing that Canada Hat! Always gets your drink for you when he sees you coming.. Pool guys are amazing they really keep the pool clean. Adze at customer service very helpful . We had no hot water but in Cuba that happens and it was warm enough that you don't really want the hot water because you want to cool off. There was a bad rain storm on the Monday and when we went back to our room the water was flowing like Niagara Falls and everything was floating. The staff was so accommodating and moved us immediately. The chamber maid (evening lady Marissa! I think was her name.) She came up and got us into another room and help us move our belongings, she offered to take my went personal belongings home wash them and bring them back to me. Now that is real customer service. The first room we had in the main building 631 was big and lots of room with a little sitting area and a big terrace, but unfortunately due to weather we had to move. Food was Cuba standards, you could always find something to eat no matter what. Umberto at the egg station is great, always smiling and got you what you needed every morning. All of the Kitchen staff was amazing. To a dear friend Nessy, Hope you enjoy the tootsie rolls.... you are always missed and will see you soon. One last thing for the money you pay this is a great resort, you will not starve, you will sleep good and will have a lot of fun. You make your vacation what you won't it to be. Don't read all the negative reviews because you have to give your own review as everyone's opinion is there own. If you are expecting the Hilton you will never find that in Cuba, but you will find great staff and new friends. To all the staff at Club Amigo Ancon, Job well done and we will see you soon.
