Nice Resort

L'hôtel lui-même était très agréable. Contre Les serviettes n'étaient pas toujours remplacées et le sol de la salle de bain ne semblait pas avoir été nettoyé de la semaine. Le buffet était le même tous les soirs et pouvait être très répétitif. Les cartes à la les plats à la carte étaient amusants, en particulier les plats asiatiques. Les boissons alcoolisées n'étaient pas de première qualité. Pour Il y avait de nombreuses piscines, ce qui permettait d'avoir toujours une pla [... lire plus]ce assise et de ne pas avoir à se lever tôt pour en trouver une. En raison du temps nécessaire pour arriver à la station, nous n'y retournerions certainement pas. Nous avons également payé un supplément pour obtenir un surclassement dans la chambre Monte Cristo, du rhum et surtout une voiture pour nous conduire à la station et une voiture pour nous ramener à l'aéroport. Le représentant d'Air Transat nous a dit qu'ils n'avaient pas l'intention de nous fournir une voiture pour nous conduire à l'hôtel et nous ramener.

The hotel itself was very nice. Cons The towels were not always replaced and the bathroom floor did not seem to be cleaned all week. The buffet food was the same every night and it could be very repetitious. The a la cartes were a laugh especially the Asian. The liquor was definitely not top notch. Pros There were many pools so you could always get a seat and not have to get up early to mark one. Due to the length of time it took you to get to the resort, we would definitely not go back. Also we paid extra to have an upgrade to monte cristo room, rum and most importantly a car to drive us to the resort and a car to take us back to the airport. The air transat rep there said they had no intention on a car to take us to the resort and back.

L'hôtel était très bien😀Propre, et les piscines et la plage sont tout simplement magnifiques!â¤Considérant les dommages subis lors du dernier ouragan, ils ont certainement fait un travail de reconstruction incroyable!☺Je reviendrais sans aucun doute ! Merci Carol Webber😀

Superbe station balnéaire

Nous avons passé des vacances formidables.le terrain est très bien entretenu,les bungalows sont situés de façon à ce que tout soit très facilement accessible,beaucoup de piscines en fonction de votre humeur que ce soit la fête ou la tranquillité,une belle plage bien entretenue avec beaucoup de chaises longues,les restaurants de spécialités étaient tous très bons avec un buffet qui avait beaucoup de choix.les seuls bémols sont que nous avons trouvé le lit très dur, mais c'est peut-être nous, et q [... lire plus]ue nous vous conseillons de prendre du papier toilette pour votre chambre, il semble que ce soit une denrée très demandée et nous étions toujours à court, si le rouleau était presque fini, il n'était pas changé et ils ne vous en laissaient pas d'autre, je réserverai certainement l'hôtel à nouveau

Awesome resort Our vacation experience was awesome.the grounds are very well taken care of,the bungalows are situated that everything is very easily accessible,lots of pools depending what mood you are in whether it be party time or quiet time,beautiful well kept beach area with lots of loungers,the specialty restaurants were all very good with a buffet that had lots to choose from.the staff were all very friendly and helpful.Only dislikes ,found the bed very hard but that could be just us and advise u to take some of your own toilet paper for your room,it seems that it was a hot commodity and we always were short,if the roll was close to done it was not changed and they did not leave you an extra one,Would definately book the hotel again

Un centre de villégiature et un personnel formidables

nous sommes allés à ce resort 5 fois, il est mieux maintenant qu'avant l'ouragan, la plage est 100% meilleure le seul inconvénient est qu'en raison de l'embargo et des circonstances liées à l'ouragan, le menu est limité mais il est suffisamment varié, frais et bien préparé. Si vous pensez avoir de la nourriture comme celle préparée par votre mère, oubliez-la

great resort and staff we have been to this resort 5 times it better now than before the hurricane the beach is 100% better the only downfall is due to the embargo and circumstances re the hurricane the menu is limited but there is enough of a variety and also fresh and well prepared remember if you think your getting food like mom made forget it

Merveilleuses vacances encore une fois à Cuba !!!

C'était notre première fois au Playa Cayo Santa Maria et nous n'avons pas été déçus. C'est la sixième fois que nous venons sur l'île, mais c'est la première fois que nous venons ici. Les chambres étaient très confortables. Le petit réfrigérateur du bar était rempli quotidiennement de bouteilles d'eau et de deux bières. Jillian et Laura, l'équipe de nettoyage, n'avaient rien à envier aux autres ! Des poupées absolues et attentives à tous les besoins que nous pouvions avoir concernant nos chambres [... lire plus]. Une très belle salle de bain avec baignoire et douche. La plage était à couper le souffle. Excellent service sur la plage également, en ce qui concerne l'obtention de boissons et même des chaises installées pour nous. Le buffet était correct mais nous n'allons pas à Cuba pour la nourriture, et nous avons souvent mangé au snack bar ou à la petite canteena à côté du snack bar. Bons hamburgers, hot-dogs, pizzas excellentes. Il y avait aussi la cabane de plage pour les boissons et la nourriture. Le Lobby Bar était très agréable et nous nous y sommes assis tous les jours pour savourer nos cocktails et écouter les divertissements. Le soir, il était difficile de trouver une place tant il était fréquenté. Les spectacles dans le théâtre étaient excellents et nous avons assisté à 4 spectacles la semaine où nous étions là et nous attendions chaque soir avec impatience. C'est un beau théâtre et même s'il pleuvait, il était couvert d'un toit et il y avait aussi un bar. Les danseurs qui nous divertissaient étaient certainement très professionnels et travaillaient dur pour offrir un très bon spectacle. Il y avait un bar à café à côté du bar du hall, un bar à mojitos également à côté du bar du hall et les cafés et les mojitos étaient si bons :) Nous gardons de très bons souvenirs de ce complexe hôtelier et, comme toujours, nous sommes tristes de quitter l'endroit que vous avez appris à connaître comme votre maison pendant une semaine. Je regrette la merveilleuse équipe du Snack Bar qui a travaillé sans relâche pour nous satisfaire et la magnifique grande piscine qui desservait les deux bâtiments situés de part et d'autre. Il n'y a jamais eu de problème pour trouver une chaise et nous avons été stupéfaits de découvrir qu'il y avait 4 de ces mêmes piscines qui desservaient les bâtiments qui les entouraient. Ma meilleure amie et moi-même nous sommes offert un massage de la nuque et du dos au spa de l'hôtel, et pour 28cuc, c'était une très bonne affaire et un traitement magnifique. C'était un spa charmant et nous avons été autorisées à revenir et à utiliser le bain à remous à tout moment de la journée. Les meilleures huiles essentielles ont été utilisées et elles ont fait un travail merveilleux. Je recommanderais vivement ce centre de villégiature à tout le monde. Même aux familles avec de jeunes enfants, car il y a un merveilleux village pour enfants, entièrement entouré d'une clôture colorée. Il y a aussi un glacier qui ne désemplit pas tous les jours. Nous avons passé un très bon moment ici et j'en garderai de bons souvenirs qui dureront longtemps.

Wonderful Vacation once again in Cuba!! This was our first time to the Playa Cayo Santa Maria and we were not disappointed. Our sixth time to the island but first time here. The rooms were very comfortable. Small bar fridge stocked daily with bottled water and 2 beers and Jillian & Laura of the cleaning staff were 2nd to none! Absolute dolls and attentive to any needs we may have had pertaining to our rooms. A very nice bathroom also with tub and shower. The beach was breathtaking. Excellent service on the beach also, with regards to getting us beverages and even chairs set up for us. The buffet was OK but we do not go to Cuba for the food, and often ate in the snack bar or the little canteena off of the snack bar. Good burgers, hotdogs, pizza was excellent. There was also the beach hut for drinks and food. The Lobby Bar was very enjoyable and we sat there daily enjoying our cocktails and listening to the entertainment. At night it was hard to find a spot as it was so popular. The live entertainment in the theatre was excellent and we attended 4 shows the week we were there and looked forward to each night. A lovely theatre and even it there was rain it was covered with a roof and a bar there also. The dancers they had entertaining us were certainly very professional and worked hard to put on a very good show. There was a coffee bar off the lobby bar, a Mojito bar also off of the Lobby Bar and boy both the coffees and mojitos were so good:) We have very fond memories of this resort and as always feel sad to leave the place that you have come to know as your home for a week. I miss the wonderful Snack Bar staff that worked tirelessly to accommodate us and the beautiful large pool that served the 2 buildings on either side of it. There was never a problem finding a chair and we were amazed to discover that there were 4 of these very exact pools serving the building that surrounded them. My best friend and myself treated ourselves to a neck/back massage at the Spa on-site and for 28cuc that was a very good deal and a beautiful treatment. It was a lovely spa and we were allowed to come back and use the hot tub any time all of that day. The best essential oils were used and they did a wonderful job. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone. Even families with young children as they had a wonderful Childrens' Village that was entirely enclosed with a colourful fence. And an ice cream parlour too that was busy each and every day. We had a great time here and I will have fond memories that will last a long time.

Nice resort Beach 10 Pool 8 Food 7 Staff 8 Entertainment 9 Rooms 7 Overall I would recommend this location as every year the resort is always improving. The beaches are worth the money time and venture. You wont get beaches like this anywhere elseinCuba

Grandes vacances

La plage, apparemment sans fin, était magnifique. La chambre, le terrain et tous les autres endroits étaient très propres. Le seul problème rencontré était que le papier toilette était toujours vide dans les toilettes publiques lorsqu'on le demandait. Le personnel était très accommodant avec tout le monde. Nombreuses piscines au choix. Les omelettes étaient délicieuses. Grande variété d'autres buffets. Les boissons préférées étaient la bière Cristal et le Habana Especial.

Great Vacation The seemingly endless beach was beautiful. The room, grounds and every other area were very clean. Only problem found was that toilet paper was always empty in public washrooms when required. Staff very accomadtating to everyone. Plenty of pools to choose from. Omletes were delicious. Great variety of other buffet items. Favorite drinks were Cristal beer and Habana Especial.

Superbes vacances en famille

Excellent centre de villégiature pour amener la famille et comme nous l'avons fait nous avons rencontré la famille. Le hall d'entrée était un centre de divertissement avec des boissons et un bar à café spécialisé. La piscine centrale avec un swim-up bar était superbe et la nourriture autour de la piscine était le meilleur endroit pour manger rapidement. Les restaurants à la carte proposaient les meilleurs plats, mais une omelette tous les matins au buffet était mon plat préféré. Nous avons pris  [... lire plus]un catamaran qui incluait la plongée en apnée et une expérience avec les dauphins qui vaut l'argent. Je recommande ce complexe si vous envisagez de séjourner à Cuba.

Great family holiday Excellent resort to bring family and as we did meet up with family. The lobby area was a center for entertainment with drinks and specialty coffee bar. The central pool with a swim-up bar was great and the food around the pool was the better place for quick food. The À la cart restaurants had the best food but an omelet everything morning from the buffet was my go to. We took a catamaran that included snorkeling and a dolphin experience that is worth the money. I recommend this resort if your considering Cuba.

Plage charmante ; nourriture pas bonne sauf le cubain

La musique live était incroyable. La plage était très belle avec beaucoup de petits poissons translucides à marée basse. La nourriture n'était vraiment pas bonne, à l'exception du restaurant cubain où elle était délicieuse. Le service n'est pas orienté. La chambre était propre mais les lits n'étaient pas confortables.

Beach lovely; food not good except the Cuban The live music was amazing. The beach was so nice with lots of small translucent fish during low tide. The food was really not good except for the Cuban restaurant where it was delicious. Not service oriented. Room was clean but Beds not comfortable.

De superbes vacances pour les vacances de mars

Je viens de rentrer d'un voyage d'une semaine avec ma fille pour les vacances de mars à Playa Cayo Santa Maria - Cuba. L'enregistrement à l'hôtel s'est fait en douceur et assez rapidement, sans surprise. J'ai demandé une chambre à deux lits lors de la réservation en ligne, et on m'a donné la possibilité de choisir une chambre avec vue sur la piscine. Le complexe est spacieux, avec de beaux paysages, les piscines sont très propres, le personnel très sympathique, du groom aux serveurs des restaura [... lire plus]nts (notamment Lianet- au Snack Bar), en passant par le personnel de ménage. Excellents divertissements (comédies musicales et danses), en journée et en soirée, à la piscine et dans le hall d'entrée. La plage est fantastique, du sable blanc et transparent avec une eau bleue propre, des activités nautiques et de nombreux espaces ombragés pour se détendre et profiter de la vue. Accès illimité aux boissons (non alcoolisées et alcoolisées), aux glaces, etc. toute la journée au bord des piscines. Chambres propres, pas très luxueuses, mais tout ce dont on a besoin pour passer des vacances de type chalet : dormir, se doucher, prendre son café du matin et se détendre. Le buffet offre beaucoup de choix ; cependant, personnellement, je n'ai pas trouvé la nourriture très appétissante, mais j'ai pu me débrouiller avec quelques recettes et je les ai mangées régulièrement. Le seul inconvénient est le manque d'accès à Internet ! On peut acheter un accès à l'heure, mais c'est très lent et on se connecte rarement. C'était mon premier voyage à Cuba et il a été positif. Je n'hésiterais pas à y retourner et je recommande vivement l'hôtel Playa.

Awesome March Break Vacation I just returned from a 1-week march break vacation trip with my daughter to Playa Cayo Santa Maria- Cuba. The check-in at the hotel was smooth and quite fast, no surprises. I asked at the online-reservation for 2-beds in the room, they were able to provide me with my choice with a nice pool view. The resort is spacious, with beautiful sceneries and landscape, pools are v clean, staff very friendly, from the bell-man to the waiters in the restaurants (namely Lianet- at the Snack Bar), to the housekeeping staff. Great entertainments (musicals and dancing), day time and evening time, at the pool and the lobby. The beach is fantastic, clear white sands with gorgeous blue clean water, access to water activities, and lots of shaded areas to relax and enjoy the view. Unlimited access to drinks (soft and alcoholic), ice creams, etc.. all day by the pools. Clean rooms, not v luxurious but all what u need when u r enjoying a Chalet-style vacation time: sleep, shower, enjoy ur morning coffee and relax. The buffet has lots of choices to choose from; however, personally, I did not find the food v appetizing but was able to manage few recipes and ate them on routine basis. The only inconvenience is poor access to internet! U can buy hourly internet access, but still it is v slow and rarely connected. That was my first trip to Cuba and it was a positive one. I would not hesitate to go again and highly recommend Playa Hotel.

You can buy passes ($1.50 for an hour). It works but not so much when the lobby is busy. It also kicks you off. Good for texting etc * Small snack bar menu * Not many vegetarian options * Small selection of sunscreen, so make sure to bring your own * Small plastic cups for drinks. Bring your own cup!

GRAND RESORT

Station balnéaire bien entretenue, la nourriture était incroyablement bonne - une grande variété de jambon espagnol et de différentes sortes de fromage. Il n'y avait pas d'huile d'olive disponible pour les salades, mais une grande quantité de vinaigres différents

GREAT RESORT Well kept resort, food was amazingly good - a huge variety of Spanish ham and different kinds of cheese. There was no olive oil available to use for salads but a huge amount of different vinegars. staff friendly

Voyage extraordinaire à l'hôtel Playa Cayo Santa Maria

Nous étions situés dans l'un des bâtiments Transat Distinction, à quelques pas de l'océan et des piscines principales. Toutes les autres commodités étaient accessibles à pied. Les restaurants à la carte étaient fantastiques. Les buffets étaient parfois froids et répétitifs, mais le choix était varié. La plage était très belle et nous pouvions toujours trouver des chaises longues. Il y avait beaucoup de vent la semaine où nous y étions, nous n'avons donc pas pu aller sur les catamarans car les va [... lire plus]gues étaient trop grandes ; elles étaient bonnes pour le body surfing ! Le soir, des danseurs locaux se produisaient au théâtre. Le bar du hall accueillait divers musiciens tout au long de la semaine. Le complexe se trouve à environ une heure et demie de l'aéroport de Santa Clara et est donc isolé. Dans l'ensemble, c'est un endroit idéal pour s'asseoir et se détendre.

Amazing trip at Hotel Playa Cayo Santa Maria We were located in one of the Transat Distinction buildings which is steps from the ocean and the main pools. Every other amenity was a short walk away. A-la-carte restaurants were fantastic. Food in buffet restaurant sometimes cold and repetitive but there was a variety to chose from. The beach was very beautiful and we could always find lounge chairs. There was a lot of wind the week we were there so we couldn't go on the catamarans as the waves were too large; they were good for body surfing ! Entertainment in the evening consisted of local dancers at the theatre. The lobby bar had a variety of musicians throughout the week. The resort is about an hour and a half from the airport in Santa Clara so it is isolated. Overall, a great place to just sit back and relax.

Très déçu

Nous avons réservé ce centre de villégiature parce qu'il faisait l'objet d'une majorité de bonnes critiques. Ils se sont attribués 5 étoiles. Je peux tout au plus leur donner 3,5 étoiles. Dans la première chambre que nous avons occupée, le siège des toilettes était si dégoûtant que nous avons demandé à en changer. Le personnel s'est montré très conciliant. Dans la chambre suivante, j'ai tué deux énormes cafards. Nous nous sommes plaints et avons reçu une bombe aérosol. Nous nous sommes plaints a [... lire plus]u représentant du Sun Wing et il nous a fait changer de bloc immédiatement et nous a surclassés en vue océanique. Merci pour cela. Les lits dans toutes les chambres où nous étions avaient les ressorts qui passaient à travers. J'ai nettoyé le mien avec des serviettes. La nourriture était ordinaire. L'eau et la plage étaient magnifiques. Dans l'ensemble, c'est un beau complexe, mais il vieillit et a besoin d'un peu de soins. Ce n'est même pas un hôtel 5 étoiles selon les critères cubains. Pour l'instant, je ne peux pas recommander cet hôtel.

Very disappointed We booked this resort because it had mainly good reviews. They gave themselves 5 stars. At most I can give 3.5 stars. The first room we got, the toilet seat was so disgusting that we asked to change. The staff was very accommodating. The next room I killed two huge cockroaches. We complained and received a can of spray. We complained to the sun wing representative and he got us moved to another block right away and upgraded us to ocean view. Thanks for that. The beds in all the rooms we were we had the springs coming through. I cushend mine with towels. The food was ordinary. The water and beach were beautiful. All in all it is a beautiful resort but it is aging and needs some TLC. It is not even by Cuban standard a 5star hotel. At this point I can't recommend this resort.

Très bien géré !

Dans l'ensemble, il s'agit d'un merveilleux complexe hôtelier malgré ces quelques problèmes. Notre chambre avait une vue sur l'océan et sur l'une des quatre piscines. Les chambres étaient très propres, le seul reproche étant que nous avions deux chambres doubles et que nous les avons poussées l'une contre l'autre pour en faire une chambre King, comme nous l'avions demandé. Le salon proposait des animations mais pas de piste de danse, ce qui a été une grande déception. Le fait de fumer était to [... lire plus]ujours un problème pour trouver une table à l'écart des fumeurs. Nous avons découvert les hamburgers de la plage le cinquième jour, probablement les meilleurs que j'aie jamais mangés ! Ce n'est que le dernier jour que j'ai découvert que j'avais négligemment jeté une grosse bague en argent et en or dans l'un de mes sacs à cosmétiques et qu'elle n'était plus là ! J'avais normalement mis tous ces objets dans le coffre-fort. C'est ma faute, mais j'avais l'impression que nous avions très bien traité le personnel de nettoyage avec des pourboires quotidiens et des fournitures que nous avions apportées de la maison pour eux ! C'est donc une ÉNORME déception car je pense qu'ils ont dû vérifier tous les jours mes effets personnels. Les points positifs sont que les gens et le personnel étaient très amicaux et toujours souriants ! La plage était parfaite, on pouvait y faire de longues promenades ! Tout était très propre et bien rangé ! C'était la première fois que je venais à Cuba et j'y retournerais !

Very well run !! Overall a wonderful resort despite these few hitches . Our room had an ocean view plus looked out to one of four pools . Rooms were very clean , only complaint was we had two doubles so we pushed them together to make a King which we had requested . The lounge had entertainment but no dance floor which was a big disappointment . The smoking was always an issue trying to find a table that was away from smokers . Lots of choices of food but as any all inclusive we were tired of it by the end .Discovered the burgers by the beach day 5 , possibly the best I’ve ever had !! Only discovered the last day when I had carelessly thrown a thick silver & gold band ring in one of my cosmetic bags that it was gone !! I had normally put all such belongings in the safe . My carelessness but I had felt we had treated the cleaning staff very good with daily tips and supplies we had brought from home for them ! So this was a HUGE disappointment as I feel they must have been daily checking through my personal belongings . So the positives are the people & staff were so very friendly and always smiling ! The beach was perfect , great to have long walks on ! Everything was very clean and tidy !! It was my first time in Cuba and I would go back !!

Des vacances extraordinaires !!!

Je ne sais même pas par où commencer ! Le resort à première vue était exactement ce que l'on imagine quand on pense à des vacances aux Caraïbes. La chambre était propre, lumineuse et très bien décorée. La salle de bain était moderne et très fraîche. Nous nous trouvions dans le bâtiment 15, un emplacement central. Les femmes de chambre étaient efficaces et méticuleuses. Le personnel était inégalable et plus qu'accommodant. La nourriture était cubaine ... en disant cela, il s'agit d'une gamme sup [... lire plus]érieure de nourriture cubaine. Le buffet n'est pas grand mais il y en a pour tous les goûts, bien sûr ce n'est pas la même nourriture que chez nous... c'est Cuba, c'est un pays différent et mon conseil est que si vous êtes fatigué, tenez-vous en aux choses qui sont grillées ou cuites devant vous. Je donnerais quand même un 7 à la nourriture, meilleure que la plupart des resorts que nous avons visités. Si votre estomac est un peu sensible, évitez les boissons fantaisistes avec de la crème ou du lait. La plage... que dire de plus... incroyable ! Nous sommes des voyageurs et c'est l'une des plus belles plages sur lesquelles j'ai jamais été. Nous étions un peu fatigués de la plage après l'ouragan de l'année dernière, mais Playa était la plage la mieux entretenue de toutes les stations (nous les avons toutes parcourues). Les 5 étoiles et plus ne se rapprochent pas de l'état de cette plage. Le sable était comme de la farine, le personnel de la plage s'occupait de nous pieds et poings liés, et la nourriture était excellente au buffet de la plage et au bbq en plein air. Conseil : ne manquez pas de goûter la pizza au four à briques du buffet de la plage ! C'est délicieux ! Les activités étaient nombreuses, les divertissements excellents et les bars et discothèques très amusants. C'était notre premier séjour à Santa Maria et je peux dire sans me tromper que je reviendrai, mes jours à Varadero sont terminés. Une dernière chose, notre expérience de réservation avec Melissa à tripcentral a été très satisfaisante, elle a été très informative et a eu raison de nous recommander... merci d'avoir fait de ces vacances un moment mémorable et agréable... ! !!!

Amazing vacation!!! I don’t even know where to start! The resort at first sight was exactly what one imagines when they think of a Caribbean vacation. The room was clean, bright and very well decorated. The bathroom was modern and very fresh. We are located in building 15 that was a central location. The maids were efficient and meticulous. The staff were second to none and beyond accommodating. The food, was Cuban ... in saying this, it is upper scale of Cuban food. The buffet is not large but has something for everyone, of course it’s not the same food as “back home”... it’s Cuba, it’s a different country and my advice is if you are weary, stick to things that are grilled or cooked in front of you. I would still give the food a 7, better than most resorts we have visited. If your tummy is a little touchy stay away from the fancy drinks with cream or milk. The beach... what can I say only ... amazing! We are travellers and this, hands down, has been one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever been on. We were a little weary of the beach after last year’s hurricane but Playa was the best groomed beach of all the resorts (we walked them all). The 5 plus stars did not come close to the condition of this beach. The sand was like flour, the beach staff tended on us hand and foot, and the food top notch at the beach buffet and the outdoor bbq. Tip: make sure you try the pizza at the brick oven at the beach buffet!! Yummy! The activities were plenty, entertainment, excellent and the bars and discos very fun. This was our first stay in Santa Maria and I can safely say I will be a repeat, my Varadero days are over. One more thing, our booking experience with Melissa at tripcentral was above satisfactory, she was very informative and right on the money with this recommendation... thank you for making this vacation a memorable and pleasant one!!!!

Merveilleux voyage

Le personnel était le plus aimable que j'aie jamais rencontré dans un centre de villégiature. La chambre était toujours propre, avec des touches spéciales laissées pour que nous puissions en profiter et sourire. Les divertissements, en particulier la danse, étaient les meilleurs que j'aie jamais vus dans un centre de villégiature. La nourriture était correcte mais nous avons toujours pu trouver quelque chose qui nous convenait. La plage était magnifique mais le vent ne nous a pas permis de profi [... lire plus]ter de la tempête de sable, nous avons donc profité de la piscine. Je reviendrai sans aucun doute.

Wonderful trip Staff were the friendliest people I have ever encountered at a resort. The room was always clean with special touches left for us to enjoy and smile at. The entertainment especially the dancing was the best I've seen at a resort. The food was fair but we were always able to find something which suited us. The beach was amazing but the wind made it difficult to enjoy kicking up a sandstorm so we enjoyed the poolside. Would definitely go back again.

Pas impressionné

Nous venons de rentrer de Paya Cayo Santa Maria, et j'étais très enthousiaste à l'idée d'y aller puisque mon mari y est allé avec son soleil l'année dernière et qu'ils nous ont décrit l'endroit comme étant génial. Nous sommes arrivés le 13 février, et à la réception il y avait 2 membres du personnel, tous deux au téléphone, et nous n'avons pas eu droit à un accueil ou à un contact visuel pendant 10 minutes. Nous n'avons pas ressenti l'amour du tout. Même approche lors de notre départ Le 14, no [... lire plus]us nous sommes réveillés dans une station balnéaire surpeuplée. Nous avons découvert plus tard que les locaux s'étaient vu offrir un forfait spécial pour la Saint-Valentin. Rien à redire si le resort pouvait le gérer, mais les files d'attente étaient énormes, les piscines bondées, le jardin des abeilles nettoyé, etc. Le personnel de divertissement avait l'air trop agressif, j'ai même dû dire à l'un d'entre eux de nous laisser tranquilles. Nous avons séjourné dans l'unité 1, et c'était tellement bruyant que la plupart du temps, je m'endormais avec un oreiller sur l'oreille. L'hôtel était propre et c'est probablement ce qu'il y a de mieux.

Not impressed We just came back from Paya Cayo Santa Maria, and I was ready excited to go there considering my husband went with his sun last year and they described it as a great place. We arrived on February 13th, and at the reception were 2 staff members, both on the phone and we didn't get a welcome or an eye contact for 10 minutes. Didn't feel the love at all. Same approach when we left On the 14th, we woke up in a overcrowded resort. Found later than the locals were offered a special package for Valentine's Day. Nothing against it if the resort could handle it, but the lineups were huge, pools packed, beere garden cleaned up, etc. Entertainment staff looked too aggressive, I actually had to tell one of them to leave us alone. We stayed in Unit 1, and it was so loud that most of the days I felt asleep with a pillow on my ear. The hotel was clean and probably what was the best part.

La pire station que j'aie jamais visitée.

Cet hôtel était sale. Mégots de cigarettes sur la terrasse de la piscine. Ordures autour de la piscine. Très peu de propreté. La nourriture était la pire que j'ai eu sur les trois fois que j'ai été à Cuba. Les plats à la carte étaient corrects. Les divertissements étaient de piètre qualité. Non fumeur n'était pas Dans forcé dans les zones non fumeur. Les chambres étaient démodées. Elles sentaient mauvais. Les plages étaient superbes. Je ne recommanderais pas ce centre de villégiature, comme l' [... lire plus]a fait mon agent avec moi.

Worst resort I have been to. This hotel was dirty. Cigarette butts on the pool deck. Garbage around the pool. Very little cleanliness. Food was the worst I’ve had outta the three times I been to Cuba. The a la cartes were ok. Entertainment was low quality. Non Smoking was not In forced in no smoking areas. The rooms were out dated. Smelly. Beaches were great. I would not recommend this resort as my agent did with me.
