Barcelo Puerto Vallarta: Merveilleux Mexique occidental !

La chambre était vraiment grande avec deux salles de bains et deux lits king size. La vue sur l'océan est superbe. Les piscines sont superbes, tout comme les bains à remous. Le terrain est agréable. La nourriture était très bonne (en particulier les restaurants à la carte). Le service était bon et le personnel très attentif. J'envisagerais certainement d'y retourner.

Wonderful West Mexico! The room was really large with two bathrooms and two king sized beds. Great view of the ocean. The pools are great, and so are the hot tubs. The grounds were nice. The food was very good (especially the a la cart restaurants. Service was good and the staff are very attentive. I would consider returning for sure.

Occidental Papagayo: Un centre de villégiature qui offre des opportunités

L'emplacement de l'hôtel est idéal, à une courte distance de l'aéroport. Le processus d'enregistrement a été très confus et nous n'avons pas reçu tous les documents de bienvenue. Cependant, la chambre dégageait toujours une odeur et l'espace pour déballer sa valise était limité. La nourriture est tout à fait standard avec quelques moments de brio. Les activités extérieures sont un peu trop chères et vous pouvez faire de meilleures affaires auprès des locaux à la plage. Les piscines sont superbe [... lire plus]s et la plage est magnifique le matin quand la marée est basse. Notre séjour a été bon mais nous recherchions plus.

A resort with opportunity The location of the resort is great with a short commute from the airport. The check in process was very confusing and we didnt recieve all of the welcome package.The resort is clean and the staff are friendly. However the room always carried an odour with limited space to unpack your suitcase. The food is just standard with a few moments of brilliance. External activites are somewhat overpriced and you can get better deals from the locals at the beach. Pools are great and the beach is great in the morning hours when the tide is out. Our stay was good but we were looking for more.

Barcelo Maya Caribe: Barcelo Maya Caribe 19 - 26 janvier 2019 Meilleur voyage de tous les temps !!!

Je ne sais pas exactement ce qui s'est passé lors de ce voyage, mais toutes les planètes, le soleil et la lune ont dû être alignés, car tout s'est déroulé à la perfection pour nous. Tout a commencé le dimanche matin à 1 heure lorsque nous sommes arrivés à l'hôtel. Nous avons été servis par David à la réception, qui était très aimable malgré l'heure. Nous avons demandé si notre chambre était au dernier niveau comme nous l'avions demandé et David nous a dit que malheureusement, ils n'avaient rien [... lire plus] de plus haut, mais il nous a demandé de lui donner une minute et nous a dit qu'il allait nous surclasser en suite VIP swimout parce qu'il voulait que nous profitions de nos vacances. Nous avons bien sûr été époustouflés par ce service spécial. David a également demandé à Isaac (groom) de porter nos bagages à notre chambre. Isaac a pris une voiturette de golf, a chargé nos bagages et nous a conduits jusqu'à notre chambre, où nous nous sommes installés rapidement. Il nous a montré notre chambre et notre incroyable piscine et jacuzzi, quelle chambre ! Isaac a été si gentil et serviable et ce, tôt le matin. Comme nous sommes arrivés très tard, nous avons commandé le service d'étage le lendemain matin. C'était incroyable, nous avons mangé sur notre patio au bord de notre piscine dans une détente totale. C'était tout simplement paradisiaque. Le mercredi soir, le directeur de la réception, Christian Romero, nous a appelés pour s'enquérir de notre séjour et voir si tout était satisfaisant. Il nous a ensuite suggéré d'essayer le niveau Premium pour les derniers jours de nos vacances. Nous nous sommes rendus à la réception pour lui parler et il nous a dit qu'il allait nous faire passer au niveau Privilège pour le reste de notre séjour et nous avons bénéficié d'avantages extraordinaires. Wi-Fi gratuit, service en chambre 24 heures sur 24, alcools de premier choix, etc. etc. Christian a été si gentil de faire cela pour nous. C'était notre troisième visite au Caribe et notre neuvième au complexe Barcelo Maya. Nous n'avons jamais été déçus. Et les amis à qui nous avons recommandé le complexe Barcelo ont passé les mêmes merveilleuses vacances. Nous ne pouvons vraiment pas dire assez de bien de l'hôtel et du personnel car ils sont tous si amicaux et accommodants. Il y a tant de personnes à remercier, comme Fernando et Mario au restaurant Brasserie. Leur service et leur attention sont impeccables. Jose à La Fuentes, si amical et serviable, et bien d'autres encore. Ce fut notre meilleur voyage grâce au merveilleux personnel du Maya Caribe. Nous recommandons vivement ce complexe et nous y retournerions sans hésiter.

Barcelo Maya Caribe January 19 – 26, 2019 Best Trip Ever!!! So not sure what went on with this trip, but all the planets sun and moon must have been in alignment as everything went just perfect for us. It all started for us on Sunday morning at 1.00am when we got to our hotel. We were served by David at front desk who was very friendly despite the hour. We inquired if our room was on the top level as requested and David told us unfortunately, they didn’t have anything higher up but he asked us to give him a minute and then said he was going to upgrade us to a VIP swimout suite because he wanted us to enjoy our vacation. We were of course blown away by this special service. David also arranged for Isaac (bell boy) to take our luggage to our room. Isaac got a golf cart loaded our luggage and drove us to the room and got us settled quickly. He showed us our room and our incredible swim out pool and Jacuzzi, what a room!!! Isaac was so nice and helpful and this in early morning hours. Because we got in so late we ordered room service the next morning. It was amazing, we ate out on our patio beside our swim out pool in total relaxation. Just heavenly. On Wednesday night the front desk manager Christian Romero called us to inquire about our stay and see if everything was satisfactory. He then suggested we should try the Premium Level for the last few days of our vacation. We went to the front desk to talk to him and he then told us he was going to upgrade us to the Privilege Level status and for the rest of our trip and we enjoyed amazing perks. Free Wi-Fi, 24 Hour room service, top shelf liquor etc. etc. Christian was so kind in doing this for us. This was our 3rd visit to the Caribe and our 9th to the Barcelo Maya resort complex. We have never been disappointed. And the friends we have recommended the Barcelo Resort to have enjoyed the same wonderful holiday. We really can’t say enough about the hotel and staff as they they’re all so friendly and accommodating. So many to thank such as Fernando and Mario at the Brasserie restaurant. Their service and attention is impeccable. Also, Jose at La Fuentes, so friendly and helpful and many, many more. This was our best trip ever all because of the wonderful staff at the Maya Caribe. We would highly recommend this resort and would go back in a heart beat.

Barcelo Huatulco: Beau mais quelques défis à relever

Huatulco est une région magnifique, sûre et peuplée de gens extraordinaires. Le Barcelo est propre et les personnes qui y travaillent sont formidables. Le défi était de faire la queue tous les matins à 8 heures, car les services de l'hôtel ouvraient à 9 heures, pour réserver un dîner à la carte pour le soir même. Les réservations ne sont faites que le jour même pour les dîners à la carte. C'est une véritable perte de temps, car la file d'attente s'étend parfois jusqu'au hall d'entrée. Le deux [... lire plus]ième problème est qu'il n'y a pas de carte de serviettes. Vous pouvez prendre autant de serviettes que vous le souhaitez. Les gens couvrent donc plusieurs chaises autour de la piscine et de la plage avec de nombreuses serviettes. Si vous arrivez à 8 heures du matin pour trouver une chaise, elles sont toutes occupées avec une serviette. Parfois, personne ne se présente de toute la journée. C'est très frustrant et devrait être surveillé par l'hôtel. La nourriture était correcte à l'hôtel. Pas excellente mais correcte. Il y avait parfois des ruptures de stock, comme le beurre, la crème pour le café, la confiture et le guacamole, etc.

Beaufiful but some challenges Huatulco is a beautiful area, safe with amazing people. The Barcelo is clean with wonderful people who work there. The challenges were lining up every morning at 8 am, as hotel services opened at 9am to book an a la carte dinner for that night. Reservations are only made day of for the a la cartes. This is really a waste of your morning as sometimes the line up ran through the lobby. The second challenge is there are no towel cards. You can take as many towels as you want. So people cover multiple chairs around the pool and beach area with many towels. If you come down at 8 am to find a chair they are all taken with a towel. Sometimes nobody even shows up all day. This is very frustrating and should be monitored by the resort. The food was ok at the resort. Not great but ok. Sometimes items ran out like, butter, cream for coffee, jam and guacamole etc.

Barcelo Bavaro Beach: Quality Resort

Notre séjour a été formidable. Le personnel (tout le personnel) était si amical et accommodant. La nourriture était bonne. Il y a un grand choix. Cela étant dit, il n'y avait pas de "burger pit" 24 heures sur 24, car nous avions toujours faim à l'heure du dîner et si nous ne mangions pas, nous étions affamés plus tard. A part cela, c'était un super complexe, avec des activités amusantes et beaucoup de choses à faire.

Our stay there was great. The staff ( all staff) were so friendly and accommodating. Food was good. They have a huge selection. With that being said, there wasn't a 24 hour "burger pit" so to say because we were always hungry at dinner times and if you didn't eat then you were starving later. Other than that it was a great resort, fun activities, and lots to do.

Barcelo Maya Palace: Un lieu de vacances idéal pour les familles !

Nous y sommes allés avec notre enfant d'un an et nous ne pouvions pas être plus satisfaits de la façon dont les choses se sont déroulées ! Le terrain était facile à parcourir, les repas étaient exceptionnels et le personnel s'est occupé de tous nos besoins (merci Juan Carlos, Carlos Santiz, Leyli Gomez et Esmeralda Jimenez !). Nous avons adoré l'intimité et la vie privée qu'offrait le Palace et les options de restauration nous ont permis de nous divertir et de nous rassasier tous les soirs ! No [... lire plus]tre petit garçon a adoré le parc pour enfants et la piscine pour adultes dans laquelle il a flotté tous les jours !

A great family vacation place! We went with our one-year-old and we couldn't be happier with how it turned out! The grounds were easy to navigate, the dining was exceptional, and the staff took great care of all our needs (Thanks, Juan Carlos, Carlos Santiz, Leyli Gomez, and Esmeralda Jimenez!). We loved the intimacy and privacy that the Palace offered and the dining options kept us entertained and full every night! Our little guy loved the kids park and the adult pool which he floated around in every day!

Occidental Cozumel: Un centre de villégiature extraordinaire !

Nous avons séjourné à l'Occidental Royal Level à la mi-janvier pour une semaine. Nous avons adoré. Le terrain est immaculé et tellement luxuriant. La nourriture était moyenne à très bonne. Les plats à la carte étaient excellents. Les chambres sont très spacieuses et propres. Le personnel est toujours très aimable. Je recommande vivement l'hôtel et j'y retournerai certainement.

Amazing Resort! We stayed at the Occidental Royal Level mid January for 1 week. We loved it. The grounds are immaculate, and sooo lush. The food was average to very good. The ala cartes were excellent. The rooms very spacious and clean. Staff always very friendly. Would highly recommend, and would definitely return.

Barcelo Huatulco: OK RESORT

L'hôtel était correct, mais il n'a pas vraiment répondu à nos attentes. Ma femme et moi utilisons les hôtels Barcelo depuis 5 ans et nous sommes tous les deux d'accord pour dire que cet hôtel n'était pas à la hauteur des standards Barcelo. Il était décevant de faire la queue tous les matins à 8 heures avec la moitié des clients pour réserver une voiture à la carte et d'apprendre à 9 heures, à l'ouverture du bureau, qu'il n'y avait plus de places disponibles pour le soir même. Apparemment, d'aprè [... lire plus]s les conversations avec les autres clients, tout le monde a eu le même problème. Habituellement, il est possible de réserver trois repas en une seule fois et d'en finir pour la semaine. C'est ainsi que nous avons procédé dans les autres hôtels. L'autre problème que nous avons rencontré était de trouver une chaise à la piscine ou à la plage le matin... Les gens descendaient à 5 ou 6 heures du matin et mettaient des serviettes sur 4 à 6 chaises, puis ne revenaient pas avant midi pour les réclamer... Parfois, ils ne revenaient pas avant l'après-midi Parfois, ils n'arrivaient pas avant l'après-midi, au retour de leur excursion. Apparemment, d'après les conversations avec d'autres clients, la direction était au courant de ces deux problèmes importants et hésitait à faire quoi que ce soit pour y remédier. Je suppose que les chambres étaient pleines et qu'ils étaient donc contents ! A l'exception du merveilleux personnel, nous avons été globalement déçus. Nous reviendrons certainement dans la région mais nous choisirons certainement un autre hôtel

The resort was ok .. It didn't really meet our expectations . My wife and I have used the Barcelo hotels for the past 5 years and we both agree that this hotel didn't stand up to the Barcelo standards . It was disappointing to stand in line every morning at 8 am with half the guests to book an a la cart only to find out at 9 am when the desk opened that there were no more spots available for that evening. Apparently from talking to the other guests everyone had the same issues. Usually you could book 3 sittings all at once and have done with it for the week. This is the way we have done it at the other hotels. The other issue we had was trying to find a chair at the pool or beach in the morning .. People were going down at 5 or 6 in the morning and putting towels on 4 to 6 chairs then not showing up till noon to claim them ? Sometimes not till the afternoon when they returned from there day excursions . Apparently from talking to other guests the management was aware of these two important issues and were reluctant to do anything about it . I guess the rooms were full so they were happy !!! With the exception of the wonderful staff we were overall disappointed . We would defiantly return to the area but would choose a different hotel for sure

Barcelo Ixtapa: Fantastic Resort. Le meilleur divertissement que j'ai vu au Mexique

Très bon bon. Hébergement standard. Très bon service. Personnel sympathique. Belle plage, grosses vagues pendant deux semaines mais amusant. Le groupe qui travaille le plus dur que j'ai jamais vu. 7 musiciens. Ils jouent dans le spectacle le soir et font ensuite une bonne heure et demie au bar. Fantastique musique latino, très précise et très serrée. La salsa dans toute sa splendeur. J'y retournerais rien que pour la musique.

Fantastic Resort. Best entertainment I've seen in Mexico Very good good. Standard accomodation. Very good service. Nice friendly staff. Nice beach, big waves for two weeks but fun. The hardest working band I have ever seen. 7 piece. They play in the show at night and then do a solid 1.5 hours in the bar. Fantastic Latino music, spot on and very tight. Think salsa music at its best. I would go back just for the music.

Barcelo Huatulco: Une visite charmante dans un cadre exceptionnel

Un excellent choix pour ceux qui aiment un complexe de taille modérée et intime, contrairement aux méga-propriétés de plus de 1000 chambres. La chambre standard était très confortable et la vue était superbe. Les buffets et les chariots à la carte étaient très bien faits. Le service était très efficace, amical et personnel dans l'ensemble. Le service de plage a vraiment dû travailler dur... à notre grande appréciation. Les catamarans sont bien entretenus et j'ai eu beaucoup de temps pour navigu [... lire plus]er. J'ai vu une tortue pendant que je naviguais et j'ai observé les pélicans qui plongeaient à la recherche de poissons toute la journée. Pleine lune, éclipse lunaire totale et même un petit tremblement de terre à 6 heures du matin qui nous a donné beaucoup de choses à raconter le lendemain. La concurrence pour l'ombre et les chaises des palapas était un peu exagérée la deuxième semaine quand il y avait plus de monde. Cela devrait être corrigé en même temps que les semaines les plus chargées un système de réservation par chariot comme mentionné dans d'autres commentaires. Une chose que j'aimerais mentionner, c'est que l'acoustique de la propriété est très bien faite ! Les fontaines d'eau, les murs d'eau, le feuillage et le stuc épais sur les murs des bâtiments, ainsi que les oiseaux, ont vraiment aidé à briser l'écho dur que l'on a si souvent de toutes les surfaces planes, même à un moment où l'on n'a pas d'autre choix souvent de toutes les surfaces planes, même dans les centres de villégiature les plus chers. Cela a vraiment contribué à l'atmosphère.

A charmed visit in a stunning setting A great choice for those who like a more moderate sized and intimate resort as opposed to the 1000 room plus mega properties. Standard room was very comfortable and view was great. The buffets and a la carts very well done. Service was very efficient, friendly and personal overall. The beach service really had to work hard... to our great appreciation. Catamaran sailboats are well looked after and I got in lots of sail time. Saw a turtle while sailing and watched the pelicans diving for fish all day. Full moon, total lunar eclipse and even a 6 am minor wake up earthquake that gave us all lots to talk about the next day. Competition for palapa shade and chairs was a bit over the top week 2 when it got busier. This should be fixed along with busier weeks a la cart booking system as mentioned in other reviews. One thing I'd like to mention is the acoustics of the property was very well done! Water fountains, water walls, foliage and thick concrete stucco finish on the building walls, along with the birds, really helped break up the harsh echo you so often get from all the flat surfaces at even the most expensive resorts. This really helped the atmosphere.

Pour être honnête, nous avons été assez déçus... -Nous avons dû changer de chambre le lendemain de l'enregistrement (il n'y avait rien de disponible à l'enregistrement). Les chambres sont datées et un peu propres. -Nous aurions dû être informés qu'il n'y avait pas de WIFI, tous les clients devaient acheter le WIFI, ce qui a provoqué la colère de nombreux clients... son 2019, comment est-il possible qu'il n'y ait pas de WIFI dans le cadre de la réservation de l'hôtel ? ! !!! Les clients d [... lire plus]evraient tous être informés et remboursés de ce coût, et les agences de voyage devraient couvrir ce coût dans le cadre de leur forfait. -Le casino, la discothèque, les salons, les cafés, les boutiques, les divers restaurants, le salon et le bar à cigares se trouvaient tous dans la propriété familiale A notre humble avis, les propriétés devraient être inversées, les adultes seulement devraient être déplacés à l'endroit où se trouve la propriété familiale, ce qui serait tellement plus lisible et offrirait aux adultes toutes les offres pour adultes (y compris le bar de natation). La propriété réservée aux adultes n'offrait que peu ou pas d'options, de jour comme de nuit. L'unique bar n'était pas aux normes, n'était pas accueillant et était constamment traversé par les clients pour se rendre au théâtre, à la réception, à l'unique restaurant, à la boutique, aux chambres, etc. Dans le théâtre, il y avait une circulation constante entre les sièges et la scène. Comment cela peut-il permettre de voir les spectacles sans obstruction ? Le bar/théâtre/salon de la réception était constamment enfumé car le toit en pente et les ventilateurs de plafond repoussaient l'abondante fumée de cigarette jusqu'au niveau du sol. -Nous avons passé une grande partie de nos vacances au service clientèle, à faire des réservations pour les dîners, alors que le site Internet ne mentionnait pas cette nécessité. Il y avait, à tout moment, 1 à 2 personnes au service clientèle pour des centaines de clients (files d'attente), ce qui n'est pas un bon ratio... et prend tellement de temps aux clients. S'il vous plaît, informez-en vos futurs clients. -Des frais supplémentaires ont été demandés pour plus de la moitié des restaurants et tous aux Etats-Unis (comme prévu), comment peut-on avoir des frais pour les restaurants alors qu'il s'agit d'un complexe tout compris et qu'il nous a été vendu comme un forfait vacances tout compris ? -Les points positifs sont : la plage était tout simplement spectaculaire, le personnel de l'hôtel était gentil et serviable et le temps n'avait rien à voir avec ce que nous connaissons ici à Ottawa. Nous vous demandons d'être clairs avec vos clients sur les faits de cette propriété - CE N'EST PAS UNE PROPRIÉTÉ 5 ÉTOILES et ne devrait pas être vendue comme telle. Nous avons rencontré beaucoup d'hôtes charmants du monde entier et ils se font tous l'écho de nos sentiments et seront également proactifs, en contactant leur agent de voyage pour s'assurer que cette propriété n'est pas vendue comme une propriété 5 étoiles, avec WIFI gratuit et toutes les commodités - elle ne l'est absolument pas ! Nous ne recommanderons pas cette propriété et nous n'y reviendrons pas. J'espère que cela ne tombera pas dans l'oreille d'un sourd et que Tripcentral prendra toutes les critiques au sérieux et prendra des mesures pour mettre à jour la description de cette propriété. We were quite disappointed to be honest... -We had to change rooms the day after check in (they had nothing available at check-in). The rooms are dated and somewhat clean. -We should have been made aware that there was NO WIFI, ALL GUESTS HAD TO PURCHASE WIFI, which made for many very upset guests… its 2019, how can it be that there is no WIFI as part of the hotel booking?!!!! It cost us $90.00 US = $120.00 CAD over and above the cost of our vacation package … customers should all be made aware and reimbursed this cost and the travel agencies should have that cost covered as part of the package … this was not fair and should be changed/revised moving forward. -The adults only (where we stayed and paid extra for) had no adult offerings, the casino, disco, lounges, coffee houses, shops, various restaurants and cigar lounge and bar, were all at the family property … how does that make sense?! In our humble opinion, the properties should be reversed, adults only should be moved to where the family property is, it would read so much better ad provide the adults with all adult offerings (including the swim up bar). The adults only property, provided little to no options day or night. The 1 bar was substandard, uninviting and had ongoing walk through traffic for guests to get to the theater, to the front desk, to the 1 restaurant, to the shop, rooms, etc. The theater had constant walk through traffic between the seating and the stage ~ how does that make for a unobstructed view of the shows? The bar/theater/front desk lounge area, was constantly smoke filled as the peaked roof and ceiling fans, pushed the copious amount of cigarette smoke right back to ground level. -So much vacation time was spent in customer service, booking dinner reservations, the website made no mention of having to do this. There was, at any given time, 1-2 customer service people to hundreds of guests (lineups), not a good ratio...and takes up so much of the guests time. PLEASE advise your future customers of this. -Extra charges were expected for over half the restaurants and all in US (as expected), how can there be costs for restaurants when, this was a all inclusive resort and sold to us as a all inclusive vacation package? -The positives are : the beach was simply spectacular, the hotel staff were kind and helpful and the weather was nothing like we are experiencing here in Ottawa. We ask that YOU PLEASE be clear with your clients on the facts of this property … IT IS "NOT" A 5 STAR property and should not be sold as one. We met many lovely guests from all over the world and they all echo our sentiments and will also be proactive, in contacting their travel agent to ensure that this not be sold as a 5 star, free WIFI, full amenity property … it most definitely is not! We will not recommend this property and we will not be returning. Hope this does not fall on deaf ears and that Tripcentral, take all reviews seriously and take steps to updating this properties description. Barcelo Maya Caribe: Une visite fantastique

Nous venons de rentrer d'un séjour d'une semaine au Barcelo Maya Caribe Resort. Nous avons passé un très bon moment et nous y retournerions probablement. Pendant la semaine de notre visite, l'hôtel affichait complet en raison d'un grand concert/festival qui se déroulait du jeudi au dimanche. La scène du concert était installée à l'une des extrémités de la plage et les groupes commençaient à jouer vers 7 heures du matin et minuit. On pouvait entendre la musique à l'hôtel, mais ce n'était pas  [... lire plus]trop fort. Le seul inconvénient de ce concert est que les spectacles nocturnes ont été déplacés du théâtre au Maya Mall pendant 3 nuits, qui n'a pas une très bonne acoustique, ce qui fait que la musique et les chants étaient très bruyants et peu concentrés. Il n'y avait pas beaucoup de monde dans le public, car la plupart des spectateurs étaient en train d'assister au concert. L'avantage de cette visite est qu'étant donné que tout le monde était au concert, il n'y a pas eu de problème pour réserver les restaurants à la carte à des heures raisonnables ! Les restaurants à la carte étaient tous excellents. Nous avons visité les restaurants de fruits de mer, italien, steakhouse et japonais. Le buffet était comme dans tous les autres hôtels tout compris - un bon choix et si vous n'êtes pas trop difficile, vous trouverez toujours quelque chose à manger. Nous avons eu quelques problèmes avec les chambres (les toilettes fuyaient, le robinet de l'évier n'était pas bien serré, il était donc branlant) et il a fallu environ 3 jours pour que tout soit réparé, mais Sunwing et l'hôtel ont été très agréables à traiter et à la fin, Christian, le directeur adjoint, nous a rencontrés et s'est excusé en personne, puis il nous a surclassés au niveau Premium, ce qui nous a donné quelques avantages supplémentaires que nous avons appréciés ! Le complexe lui-même est magnifique et très bien entretenu. Il n'y a jamais eu de problème pour obtenir des chaises longues à la piscine ou à la plage et il n'y a jamais eu de pénurie de serviettes. Le centre de remise en forme et le spa sont magnifiques et c'est super d'avoir le Maya Mall sur place. Les vendeurs ne sont pas trop insistants et il était agréable de se promener parmi les étals. Il n'y a plus de casino à l'hôtel, bien qu'il soit annoncé dans les brochures. Tous les employés de l'hôtel étaient sympathiques et serviables. Un grand merci à notre serveur Raquel Torrez Vidal et à Roberto Olvera (directeur) du Traitoria Ristorante pour avoir rendu mon dîner d'anniversaire très spécial ! Dans l'ensemble, nous avons passé un excellent séjour ! Merci au Barcelo Maya Caribe !

Fantastic visit Just got back from a 1 week visit to the Barcelo Maya Caribe Resort. We had a great time and would probably go back again. During the week we visited, the hotel was sold out because of a big concert/festival going on from Thursday to Sunday. The concert stage was set up at one end of the beach and the bands started playing from about 7-midnight. You could hear the music playing at the hotel, but it wasn't overly loud. The only drawback to having the concert going on was that the nightly entertainment got moved from the theatre to the Maya Mall for 3 nights which did not have great acoustics and therefore the the music/singing was uncomfortably loud and unfocussed. There weren't a lot of people in the audience because most of them were down at the concert. The great thing about this visit was that since everyone was at the concert, there was no issues with booking the a la carte restaurants at reasonable times! The a la carte restaurants were all great. We visited the Seafood, Italian, Steakhouse and Japanese restaurants. The buffet was like all other all inclusive resorts - a good selection and if you are not too picky, you could always find something to eat. We had some issues with the rooms (toilet leaking water, sink faucet was not tightened down so it was wiggly) and it took about 3 days to get it fixed, but Sunwing and the hotel was very good to deal with and in the end, Christian, the assistant manager, met with us and apologized in person and then upgraded us to the Premium level which gave us some extra perks that we appreciated! The resort itself is beautiful and very well kept. There were never any issues with getting loungers at the pool or the beach and they never ran out of towels. The fitness center and spa were beautiful and it was great having the Maya Mall on site. The venders are not too pushy so it was pleasant to walk around stalls. There is no casino at the hotel anymore, even though it is advertised in the brochures. All of the employees at the hotel were friendly and helpful. Shout out to our waiter Raquel Torrez Vidal and Roberto Olvera(manager) at the Traitoria Ristorante for making my birthday dinner extra special! Overall we had a wonderful visit! Thank you Barcelo Maya Caribe!!

Barcelo Huatulco: Vue imprenable sur l'océan

Très propre, personnel très sympathique, les barmans autour de la piscine étaient très rapides. C'est bien d'avoir une piscine pour enfants et une piscine pour adultes. Variété de plats différents chaque soir. Les chariots el la pourraient être mieux gérés.

Amazing ocean view Very clean, staff very friendly, bartenders around the pool were very prompt. Nice having the kids pool and the adult pool. Variety of different foods, each night. The el la carts could be managed better.

Barcelo Huatulco: Fantastic Resort

Nous recommandons vivement de séjourner au Barcelo Hualtuco. Le personnel était sympathique et efficace, la chambre était propre et confortable et nous avions une belle vue sur la piscine et l'océan. La nourriture était excellente et les ala carts étaient également très bons. Le terrain était magnifique et très bien entretenu. La plage était propre et magnifique. Nous reviendrons sans aucun doute !

We would highly recommend staying at the Barcelo Hualtuco. The staff were friendly and efficiant, the room was clean and comfortable and we had a beautieful pool and ocean view. The food was great and the ala carts were also very good. The grounds were beautiful and very well maintained. The beach was clean and amazing. We will definitely be back!

Allegro Cozumel: Bon rapport qualité/prix

Nous apprécions l'Allegro pour ses bâtiments bas, sa propreté, sa nourriture fiable et son terrain luxuriant et bien entretenu. Les Caraïbes sont chaudes pour la plongée avec masque et tuba et la piscine centrale est idéale pour la natation. Le yoga avec l'adorable Miel, trois matins par semaine, a été un moment fort.

Good value We like the Allegro for the low-rise buildings, cleanliness, reliable food and its lush and well-maintained grounds. The Caribbean is warm for snorkelling and the middle pool on the grounds works great for lap swimming. A highlight was the yoga with lovely Miel three mornings a week.

Occidental at Xcaret Destination: Complexe touristique exceptionnel

Nous avons séjourné à l'Occidental at Xcaret - ce centre de villégiature était incroyable. C'était magnifique. Des arbres matures, des singes, des cerfs, des lézards qui courent partout. Notre famille a adoré cet endroit. La nourriture était exceptionnelle. Nous recommandons vivement cet endroit - nous y reviendrons à coup sûr !

Amazing Resort We stayed at the Occidental at Xcaret - this resort was amazing. It was beautiful. Mature trees, monkeys, deer, lizards running around. Our family just loved this location. The food was outstanding. Highly recommend this location - we will be back for sure!

Occidental Cozumel: Magnifique complexe intime situé sur une plage de sable blanc.

Même en haute saison, ce petit complexe offre la solitude au milieu d'une végétation luxuriante. L'Occidental Grand est situé sur une belle plage, idéale pour patauger, nager et faire de la plongée avec masque et tuba. Il y a une piscine sur la plage si vous préférez ne pas nager avec les poissons curieux et amicaux dans l'eau. La nourriture est excellente et toujours disponible. Les boissons sont servies sur la plage pendant que vous vous détendez sur l'une des chaises longues, à votre conv [... lire plus]enance. Le complexe est également très bien situé, il est facile de prendre un taxi depuis le hall pour se rendre en ville, ou de louer une jeep pour explorer en toute sécurité la magnifique île de Cozumel !

Beautiful and intimate resort on the white sandy beach. Even in high season, this small resort offers solitude amongst the lush greenery. The Occidental Grand is located on a beautiful beach, great for wading, swimming, and snorkeling. There's a pool right on the beach if you'd rather not swim with the curious and friendly fish in the water. The food is great, and always available. Drink service right on the beach while you relax on one of the loungers at your convenience. The resort is also a convenient location, it's so easy to take a cab from the lobby into town, or rent a jeep and safely explore the beautiful island of Cozumel!

Occidental Papagayo: Un centre de villégiature formidable !

L'hôtel et l'ensemble de l'expérience ont été merveilleux. Le terrain est magnifique et bien entretenu. Nous avons dîné dans les restaurants italien et oriental pendant notre séjour. Le restaurant italien était incroyable et, à l'exception des plats principaux qui étaient un peu fades, le restaurant oriental était également bon. Nous avons surtout fréquenté la piscine principale et le bar de nage, qui étaient parfaits. Tout le personnel s'est démené pour que notre visite soit à la hauteur de nos [... lire plus] espérances, en particulier les barmans ! Nous prévoyons de retourner à l'Occidental Papagayo bientôt !

Awesome resort! The hotel and the whole experience were wonderful. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. We dined at the Italian and Oriental restaurants during our stay. The Italian was amazing and except for the mains that were a little bland, the Oriental was good too. We definitely frequented the main pool and swim up bar which were perfect. All of the staff went out of their way to make sure our visit was what we expected, especially the bartenders! We plan on going back to Occidental Papagayo soon!

Occidental Arenas Blancas: Vacances décevantes

Je suis un client habituel et je sais donc à quoi m'attendre de la part des hôtels cubains. Malheureusement, l'hôtel semble avoir laissé son entretien, ses terrains et ses chambres, se dégrader jusqu'à un état inacceptable. Il en va de même pour le buffet qui est devenu pour l'essentiel immangeable . (D'habitude, on peut trouver un petit quelque chose pour survivre, mais cette fois-ci, c'était discutable). Le personnel est également devenu inacceptable, durant toute la semaine, je n'ai rencont [... lire plus]ré que trois personnes souriantes et qui semblaient aimer leur travail.

Disappointing vacation I am a return customer and therefore know what to expect from Cuban resorts. Unfortunately the hotel seems to have let its upkeep, grounds and rooms, decline to an unacceptable state. As has the buffet which has become mostly uneatable . ( Usually you can find a little something to sustain life, this trip it was questionable ). The staff has also become so unacomadating, throughout the entire week I met only three workers who were smiling and seemed to enjoy there jobs.

Barcelo Bavaro Palace: le voyage était correct, mais nous n'y retournerons pas

Notre voyage s'est déroulé du 10 au 17 janvier 2019. Si vous allez dans ce complexe, lisez attentivement ce qui suit. Ce n'est pas un 5 étoiles, juste parce qu'il a un terrain de golf, swim up bar, abrite plus de 2K personnes et a 7 restaurants à la carte, ce n'est pas une qualification pour 5 étoiles. Le service était juste correct. 3/5 Les chambres (j'ai été surclassé et j'ai eu 2 suites familiales) étaient horribles, vraiment horribles ! Elles ont toutes besoin d'une mise à jour massi [... lire plus]ve ! Elles sont vieilles et des rénovations s'imposent depuis longtemps 2/5 La nourriture était assez bonne 3.99/5 Le terrain était magnifique 4/5.... Les chaises de plage étaient pitoyables ! Les chaises de plage étaient pitoyables ! Ils doivent les nettoyer et les remplacer ! 2/5 Si cet endroit est en promotion, allez-y, mais NE PAYEZ PAS LE PRIX RÉGULIER !

trip was OK..but we won't go back Our trip was Jan 10-17 2019. If you go to this resort read this carefully. IT IS NOT A 5 STAR, just because it has a golf course, swim up bar, houses over 2K people and has 7 a la carte restaurants if not a qualification for 5 stars. The service was just okay. 3/5 The rooms ( I upgraded PLUS had 2 family suites) were awful, truly awful! They all need a massive update! They are old and renovations are long over due 2/5 The food was pretty good 3.99/5 The grounds were lovely 4/5.... BUT i'm not sleeping our there! The beach chairs were pathetic! they need to clean them replace them! 2/5 If you get this place on sale, go, but DO NOT PAY REGULAR PRICE!
