J'ai réservé ce complexe pour son emplacement et je n'ai pas été déçue. Bien que j'aie manqué un jour à cause de la météo, mon vol a été réservé sans problème. Je suis arrivé à l'aéroport et j'ai parlé au représentant de Westjet qui m'a dirigé vers mon bus. Je suis arrivé à mon hôtel et l'enregistrement s'est fait sans problème. J'avais une chambre superbe avec une vue magnifique sur l'océan. La nourriture était bonne et les gens qui travaillaient à l'hôtel avaient toujours le sourire. Bie [... lire plus]n que l'hôtel ne soit pas en bord de mer, 3 minutes de marche suffisent pour y accéder. La dame du bar de la plage avait toujours un grand sourire. Les piscines étaient propres et jamais surchargées. Si vous aimez la vie nocturne, vous y étiez en 5 minutes de marche. La chambre était bien, j'avais de l'eau chaude tous les jours et ma chambre était nettoyée tous les jours. J'étais seule lors de ce voyage et je n'ai eu aucun problème à rencontrer et à parler avec les gens qui étaient là. Wonderful resort I booked this resort for the location and I was not disappointed. Although I missed a day due to weather my flight was rebooked without issue. I arrived at the airport and spoke to the westjet rep and was directed to my bus. I arrived at my hotel resort and checkin was without issue. I had a great room with a great view of the ocean. The food was good and the people working at the resort always had a smile. Although the resort was not beachfront for a 3 min walk you were there. The lady at the beach bar always had a great smile. The pools were clean and never overcrowded. If you like the nightlife you were there in a 5 minute walk. The room was good and I had hot water every day and my room was cleaned everyday. I was alone on this trip and had no problem meeting and talking to people that were there. I want to so a special thanks to my travel agent that made this possible you made my trip simple and easy thanks trip central and Martine Reid for the wonderful experience.

Palma real varedero

l'hôtel est très bien, la nourriture est excellente mais le timing est mauvais, Fidel est mort le soir de l'arrivée, donc beaucoup de choses ont été annulées, pas de spectacles, pas de musique, etc... Il a fallu changer de chambre car il n'y avait pas d'eau chaude, puis pas d'eau du tout... Le personnel est aimable et serviable

hotel was okay food great but bad timing fidel died night arrived so lots was cancelled no shows music ect had to change rooms as no hot water then no water at all staff friendly and helpful would stay there again

Hôtel Palma Real

L'hôtel était très bien, le prix est correct pour un groupe de personnes qui veulent s'amuser pendant une semaine. On peut se rendre à pied dans les bars le soir. La nourriture n'était pas mauvaise pour de la nourriture cubaine. Il faudrait plus de chaises sur la plage. J'y retournerais.

Hotel Palma Real Hotel was very nice .The price is right for a group of people to go and have fun for a week . Can walk to the Bars at night . Food was not bad for Cuban food. Needed more chairs on the Beach. I would go back again.

c'est la deuxième fois que je séjourne dans cet hôtel.je pense que la nourriture était un peu moins appétissante cette fois.j'ai arrêté de manger la viande après le 4ème jour.les chambres ont été nettoyées tous les jours,tout était propre et bien rangé mais tout est bien usé et cela se voit.c'est décevant que le décès de Castro ait mis un frein à toutes les activités du complexe.il n'y avait pas de divertissement sur le complexe du tout.si je n'avais pas apporté mon dock nous n'aurions pas eu de [... lire plus] musique du tout.oui je retournerais dans cet hôtel mais il faudrait que ce soit une meilleure offre.

this was the second time I've stayed at this hotel.I think the food was a little less appealing this time .I stopped eating the meat after the 4th day.the rooms were cleaned daily ,everything was clean and tidy but everything is well worn and it shows.it was disappointing that Castro death put a damper on all activities in the resort .there was no entertainment on the resort at all .if I had not brought down my dock we would have had no music at all.yes I would go to this hotel again but it would have to be a better deal.

C'est la deuxième fois que je viens dans cet hôtel, et il n'est pas exclu que je revienne. Les bâtiments sont en cours de rénovation et après cela, je suis sûr qu'ils auront fière allure.....Le seul gros problème que nous avons eu dans le bâtiment n° 1 était le bruit terrible créé par quelques jeunes gens qui venaient toujours à l'hôtel entre 2 et 4 heures du matin ; ils se battaient, criaient, donnaient des coups de pied dans les portes, etc. Même après avoir déposé des plaintes auprès de la d [... lire plus]irection : Nous proposons à la direction de demander au personnel de sécurité de vérifier chaque étage très souvent et d'empêcher les personnes bruyantes d'entrer dans le bâtiment....La plupart des gens vont là pour se détendre : Pas de commentaires sur les personnes qui travaillent dur au resort ....Merci pour leurs efforts ....La nourriture est tout à fait acceptable pour le prix que nous payons. la plage est en permanence pleine de chiens ....Pouvez-vous trouver le moyen de vous en débarrasser ?

Acceptable for *** Stars It is My second time at this hotel, and coming back is not an exclusion. The buildings are in renovation at this point . and after that I am sure it will look good.....The only big problem we had in the building # 1, was a terrible noise created by few young people That were always coming to the hotel between 2 and 4 in the morning; Fighting ,yelling,kicking doors etc. Even after complaints to the Management: We didn't have any chances to sleep more than 2 nights of 7.We are proposing the Management to ask security personal to check every floor very often and stop noisy people to enter the building....Most of the people are going there to relax : Not to wake up at 2 or 3 in the morning..No comments about all hard working people at the resort ....Thanks for their efforts ....The food totally acceptable for the price we pay. ....Also no bad comments about cleaning everywhere .The beach is permanently full of dogs ....Can you find the way to get rid of them ?

Assez bien pour les besoins d'un hôtel

L'hôtel est juste correct mais ce que je n'ai pas aimé c'est l'attitude des employés de l'hôtel, en particulier les réceptionnistes, les agents de sécurité et les barmans. Ils ne donnent pas un bon service, jamais un sourire ! Ils traitent les clients comme s'ils étaient stupides lorsque nous demandons quelque chose. Ils ne nous font pas nous sentir bien. Ils semblent toujours en colère. Ils ne se soucient pas du client ! J'ai entendu la même chose de la part d'autres clients.

Good enough for what a hotel is needed Hotel is just ok but what I didnt like is the attitude of the hotel workers, especially receptionists, security guys and bartenders. They dont give a good service, never a smile! They treat customers as if were stupids when we ask for something. They dont make us feel good. They seem to be mad all the time. Dont care about the customer! I heard the same from other guests.

Nous avons séjourné à l'hôtel Palma Real à Varadero du 7 au 14 novembre 2016. L'hôtel n'est pas situé directement sur la plage mais ce n'était pas un problème, nous avons apprécié les 3-5 minutes de marche. La plage est magnifique. Les 3 premiers jours, nous n'avons pas pu obtenir de chaises de plage, nous avons donc dû payer pour avoir des chaises et un abri (10 $ cuc )sur une autre station sur la plage.(pas sûr que nous aurions dû payer car c'était la première fois que quelque chose comme  [... lire plus]cela s'est produit depuis nos voyages à Cuba. Nous avons donc commencé à nous lever tôt et à marquer nos chaises (7h30). Il n'y a jamais eu de problème par la suite. Nous avons séjourné dans le bâtiment 1, proche de la piscine, du hall principal et des chariots de service. Le terrain est bien entretenu. Il y avait un bar au niveau principal de notre bâtiment et le personnel était très sympathique. La chambre avait un grand lit. Nous n'avons jamais eu de problème d'eau chaude, elle était toujours disponible. Les chambres sont de bonne taille. L'hôtel est proche des marchés, du Beatles Bar, de la boîte de nuit Havana Club et du magnifique parc. Nous avons aimé nous promener à Varadero, c'est très sûr même la nuit et il y a tant de choses à voir et à faire. Notre seul problème avec ce complexe est la nourriture au buffet. C'est très répétitif. Il n'y a pas de bacon le matin et la nourriture proposée au dîner était déjà là le matin. Je prenais généralement quelque chose qui était grillé par le chef. La crème glacée est la MEILLEURE. Il y a toujours beaucoup de gâteaux, de desserts et de fruits. Dans l'ensemble, nous avons apprécié notre séjour à la station et nous y retournerions sans hésiter. Le personnel est formidable.

Location Location Location. We stayed at The Hotel Palma Real in Varadero Nov 7-14 2016. The resort is not located directly on the beach but that wasn' t a problem ,we enjoyed the 3-5 min walk . The beach is beautiful . The first 3 days were unable to get beach chairs so we had to pay to have chairs and a shelter ($10 cuc )over to another resort on the beach.(no sure if we should have paid as this was the first time anything like this happened since our travels to Cuba. So we started to get up early and mark our chairs(7:30). Never any problems after that. The resort was very clean and well laid out .We stayed in building 1 it is close to everything pool ,main lobby ,a la carts .The ground are well cared for . There was a bar on the main level in our building and the staff are very friendly . The room had a king sized bed . We never had any problems with hot water it was always available . Rooms are a good size. The resort is close to the markets ,The Beatles Bar, Havana Club nightclub and the beautiful park . We enjoyed walking Varadero it is very safe even at the night and so much to see and do . Our only issue with this resort is the food at the buffet . It is very repetitive . Its good but it needs to offer a better selection .There is no bacon offered in the mornings and the food that was offer at supper was there in the morning . I usually had something that was being grilled by the chef . The ice cream is the BEST . There was always lots of cakes ,desserts and fruit . Overall we enjoyed our stay at the resort and would go back in a heartbeat . The staff are awesome .

Les gens ici étaient super gentils et accommodants ! La chambre d'hôtel dans laquelle nous avons séjourné était un peu démodée et miteuse, mais elle était toujours propre. On ne peut pas s'attendre à grand-chose à Cuba. J'ai entendu dire que toutes les chambres n'étaient pas comme ça. L'hôtel était magnifique à l'extérieur, avec de superbes piscines et un bar de nage ! Super proche du centre ville pour le shopping local et aussi de la plage, qui était magnifique !

Pretty good :) The people here were super nice and accommodating! The hotel room we stayed in was kind of outdated and dingy, but always kept clean. Can't expect too much in Cuba. I heard that not all the rooms were like that though. The hotel was gorgeous on the outside, awesome pools and a swim up bar! Super close to downtown for local shopping and also to the beach, which was gorgeous!

Encore un excellent séjour à l'hôtel palma real

c'était mon 5ème séjour à l'hôtel. c'est de loin le meilleur 3 étoiles de varadero. le personnel est formidable et me traite toujours comme un roi. quelques pourboires quotidiens font beaucoup dans ce complexe. le complexe est propre et le terrain est bien entretenu. le buffet est répétitif mais qui va à cuba pour la nourriture. le petit déjeuner est mon préféré. il y a beaucoup de bons restaurants à quelques pas du complexe. il y a 3 clubs à moins de 3 pâtés de maisons. le club Havana sur le si [... lire plus]te si vous aimez les discothèques, le calle 62 à un pâté de maisons plus bas pour une soirée salsa en plein air si vous préférez et mon préféré, le club Beatles, à deux pâtés de maisons du calle 62. Vous y entendrez de la musique rock en direct des années 60 aux tubes modernes d'aujourd'hui. la plage se trouve à 3-5 minutes à pied de l'hôtel et vous pourrez profiter de l'une des meilleures plages du monde ! Arrêtez-vous au bar de la plage et demandez des boissons fraîches à Kierena, elle aura toujours un sourire chaleureux pour vous. Quand vous pouvez aller dans un pays magnifique pendant 2 semaines pour 1200 dollars tout compris, pourquoi ne pas essayer ce 3 étoiles amusant !

another great stay at hotel palma real this was my 5th stay at the hotel. it is by far the best 3 star in varadero. the staff is great and always treat me like a king. a few tips daily goes a long way at this resort. the resort is clean and the grounds are kept nice. the buffet is repetitive but who goes to cuba for the food. breakfast is my favorite. there are many fine restaurants within walking distance of the resort. there are 3 clubs within 3 blocks. havana club on site if you are in to discos and calle 62 one block down for an outdoor salsa party if you prefer and my personal favorite the beatles club which is 2 blocks down from calle 62. there you will hear live rock music from the sixties to todays modern hits. the beach is a short 3-5 minute walk from the resort there you will enjoy one of the best beaches in the world! stop at the beach bar and get some cold drinks from kierena, she will always have a warm smile for you. when you can go to a beautiful country for 2 weeks for 1200 dollars all inclusive why wouldn't you give this fun 3 star a try!

L'hôtel était très bien, les gens étaient très gentils avec tout le monde, les terrains sont incroyables, les piscines propres et la musique étonnante. L'emplacement de l'hôtel Palma Real est parfait. La rue voisine Cali62, musique cubaine tous les soirs, trois rues plus loin le Beatle bar, musique des années 60 à 90, Havana club à côté pour danser et d'excellents restaurants à quelques pâtés de maisons

Great resort for money Hotel was very good people were very good to all, grounds are amazing pools clean and music amazing. Location of the Hotel Palma Real is perfect Next street Cali62 Cuban music every night, three blocks away the Beatle bar music from the 60s to 90s Havana club next door for club dancing and excellent restraunts within blocks.People front desk very helpful every night place still under renovations but things are still under control

UN CENTRE DE VILLÉGIATURE EXTRAORDINAIRE

Le terrain et la piscine étaient parfaits. La plage était à 2 minutes à pied. Je suis un mangeur extrêmement difficile et j'ai trouvé quelque chose que j'aimais à chaque repas. Le personnel était attentif et sympathique ! Je prévois de retourner dans ce complexe en janvier.

AMAZING RESORT The grounds and pool were perfect. The beach was a short 2 minute walk away. I am an extremely picky eater and I found something I liked to eat at every meal. The staff were attentive and friendly! I plan to go back to this resort in January.

Je suis allée plusieurs fois à Cuba, mais jamais à Veradero. Cette fois-ci, je voyageais avec mes filles de 34, 22 et 20 ans. J'ai été agréablement surprise par l'hôtel et ses environs. La chambre était propre et l'air conditionné fonctionnait ! Le bâtiment lui-même, nous étions dans le numéro 4, était un peu délabré, mais cela montre qu'ils travaillent à l'améliorer, n'est-ce pas ? Il y a deux piscines, l'une calme, l'autre bruyante. Nous avons passé tout notre temps dans la piscine bruya [... lire plus]nte, qui dispose d'un super bar de nage et de beaucoup de musique et d'activités amusantes. Lors de notre visite, il y avait deux cartes à la carte ouvertes. Je ne sais pas s'il y en a d'autres. Le restaurant italien était vraiment excellent ! La pizza était à croûte fine, avec des ingrédients frais et tellement bonne ! L'international était juste correct, rien de spécial. Vous êtes à quelques minutes de marche de la ville, du Beatles Bar et du Havana Club Bar. Vous pouvez également vous promener dans le centre-ville et voir de nombreux magasins, restaurants et un centre commercial en plein air. La plage est à quelques pas, de l'autre côté de la route, et dispose de son propre bar avec des toilettes à proximité. Les boissons étaient correctes, typiquement cubaines. Le café au buffet le matin était excellent. J'ai trouvé tout le personnel très sympathique. Je vous recommande vivement de visiter cet hôtel !

Really great time I have been to Cuba many times but never to Veradero. This trip I was travelling with my daughters 34, 22 and 20. I was pleasantly surprised by the resort and the surrounding area. The room was clean and the a/c worked! The building itself, we were in # 4 was in a bit of disrepair, but hey that shows they are working at making it better right? There are two pools, one quiet, one loud. We spent all our time at the loud pool, had a great swim up bar and lots of fun music and activities. When we visited there were two a la cartes open. Not sure if there are more. The Italian was really great!! The pizza was thin crust, fresh ingredients and so good!! The international was just ok, nothing special. You are a very short walk into town, the Beatles Bar and the Havana Club bar. You can also walk downtown and see many shops, restaurants and an outdoor shopping mall. The beach is a short walk across the road and has it's own bar with washrooms close by. The drinks were ok, typical Cuban. The coffee in the buffet in the morning was excellent. I found all the staff very friendly. I would definitely recommend you visit this hotel!

Excellente situation. Belle plage.

C'était ma troisième fois à Palma Real et ma sixième fois à Cuba. Mon ami était à Cuba pour la première fois. Bien que l'hôtel soit daté, il est évident qu'ils essaient de le moderniser en permanence. Les chambres sont correctes et bien climatisées. Si vous n'êtes pas satisfait de votre chambre, on vous en changera volontiers. Les piscines sont claires comme de l'eau de roche mais le carrelage et l'aspect général doivent être améliorés. Le personnel est agréable et poli. Nous avons particulièrem [... lire plus]ent apprécié Alexander dans la salle à manger. La nourriture n'était pas notre tasse de thé et nous avons eu du mal à trouver des choses que nous aimions certains jours, bien que les petits déjeuners aient toujours été bons avec des omelettes fraîches et des œufs au plat. Cela dit, le rapport qualité-prix est bon, même si nous avons mangé à l'extérieur quelques jours. L'emplacement ne peut pas être battu, à distance de marche de la Calle 62, du bar Beatles et du parc Jonome.

Excellent location. Beautiful beach. This was my third time at Palma Real and my sixth time in Cuba. My friend was in Cuba for the first time. While the hotel is dated, it is obvious that they are trying to update it continuously. The rooms are ok with good air conditioning. If you are not happy with your room they will gladly change for you. The pools are crystal clear but need work in the tiling and general appearance. The staff are pleasant and polite. We especially liked Alexander in the dining room. The food was not our cup of tea and we had difficulty finding things we liked some days although breakfasts were always good with fresh omolets and fried eggs. But having said that it was still a good value even if we ate of site a few days. The location can't be beat with walking distance to Calle 62 and the Beatles bar and Jonome park.

Cet hôtel est le seul où je vais à Veradero maintenant c'est l'emplacement, le personnel super sympathique et la propreté de l'hôtel qui me font revenir c'est juste un super endroit où aller j'y suis allé pour des séjours d'une, deux et trois semaines je le recommande vivement

The best location hotel This hotel is the only one l go to in Veradero now it is all about the location the super friendly staff and the cleanliness of the hotel that brings me back it is just a super place to go l been for one , two, and three week stays l would highly recommend it

Excellent resort le personnel était incroyable

L'hôtel est en cours de rénovation mais le terrain était excellent, l'endroit propre, les piscines parfaites. La nourriture du restaurant était très bonne. Le service est excellent L'emplacement de l'hôtel est parfait avec tout ce qui l'entoure. Les gens qui y travaillent sont incroyables, polis et veillent toujours à ce qu'on s'occupe d'eux. On peut se rendre à pied partout où l'on veut, au Cali 62, au Beatle Bar et au Havana Club, tous situés à 2 ou 3 pâtés de maisons de l'hôtel.

excellent resort staff was amazing Hotel going through renovations but grounds were excellent place clean pools were perfect. Restaurant food was very good. Service excellent Location of hotel is perfect with everything around it.The people working there were amazing polite and always made sure you were been taken care of. Walking everywhere you need to go Cali 62 the Beatle bar and Havana Club all within 2 or 3 blocks.

Nous avons passé de très bons moments au palma real resort ...la nourriture est bonne la chambre est remodelée dans le bloc 4 ...la seule chose négative est le gars de la piscine il était impoli et boosy et n'aimait pas les canadiens ...ok mais nous aimons l'endroit et nous y retournerons le 11 novembre 2016 ...c'est la 5ème fois que nous y allons et c'est une beauté pleine de placement ...pas de taxi à payer ...désolé pour mon anglais je suis français ....

Famely réunion We had a great times at the palma real resort ...food his good room is remodel in block 4 ...the only thing négatif is the pool guy he was unpolite and boosy and didn't like canadian ...ok but we love the place and going back novembre the 11 2016...it's the 5 time there and it's a beauty full am placement ..no taxi to paye ...sorry for my English I'm french ...

Dans l'ensemble, c'est un bon endroit pour séjourner, les gens sont gentils ! bon service dans les restaurants, les bars. ils étaient en train de faire des rénovations, et il y a beaucoup d'améliorations qui ont été faites, et beaucoup à faire encore. J'aimerais que les aliments soient un peu plus épicés et assaisonnés.

amazing resort for the price you pay!! Overall good place to stay, nice people! good service in restaurants, bars.They were doing renovations, and there are lots of improvements done, and lots to be done still. Wish the foods were a bit more spiced and seasoned.
