C'est une bonne chose de le réserver !

Hola ! J'ai voyagé en septembre au Grand Bahia Principe Aquamarine qui est en basse saison et les prix étaient bons et le taux d'occupation faible donc je l'ai trouvé peu fréquenté. Voici quelques observations sur certaines zones clés : Arrivée et départ Accueil avec une boisson fraîche à base de noix de coco/mint/glace congelée. Une fois dans la chambre, qui était la bonne chambre à l'étage supérieur avec vue sur la piscine, ils ont appelé après environ 10 minutes pour s'assurer que tou [... lire plus]t allait bien, ce qui était un suivi très agréable. Le check-out se fait à un endroit différent du check-in, qui est différent du check-in, et le processus est très fluide et efficace. La chambre : Elle était bien aménagée. Les articles personnels tels que le savon, le shampoing, l'après-shampoing, le gel douche, le kit dentaire (brosse à dents) et le bonnet de douche étaient tous fournis. La télévision est principalement espagnole mais il y a quelques chaînes anglaises dont CBS, NBC, ABC, FX, TNT, CNN. La propreté et l'entretien par la femme de ménage étaient bons. Piscine et plage : Les chaises longues étaient nombreuses et il n'était pas nécessaire de les réserver avec une serviette de piscine comme dans la plupart des complexes hôteliers, mais c'est probablement parce que c'était la basse saison. Les clients de la piscine semblaient s'amuser au bar et au son de la musique. La plage dispose de beaucoup d'espace pour les clients. L'eau et les vagues étaient un peu plus fortes qu'à Cuba ou au Mexique. Nourriture : Les réservations de restaurants étaient faciles et pouvaient être effectuées via une application mobile grâce au wifi gratuit. Il était également possible de le faire de manière traditionnelle en parlant à quelqu'un ou en utilisant un système de réservation dans le hall. Les restaurants que j'ai essayés et qui étaient tous très bons étaient le Limbo (français), MEAT, Maiko (Tepanyaki japonais). Portofini (italien) était un peu fade à mon goût. Le buffet Aquamarine pour le dîner était bon. Il a été déplacé de l'emplacement habituel du restaurant buffet à un autre endroit en partie à cause de la basse saison. Le Sports Bar de l'Ambar, auquel vous avez accès, est un endroit idéal avant ou après le dîner, avant les divertissements de la soirée. Les divertissements sont les mêmes que dans les autres complexes hôteliers, avec des spectacles en soirée dans une salle de théâtre. La surprise supplémentaire a été le divertissement encore meilleur dans le hall de l'hôtel le soir. Dans l'ensemble, il s'agit d'un excellent complexe hôtelier dont la propriété est constamment entretenue. Je vous le recommande si vous envisagez d'y séjourner !

Good to book it! Hola! I travelled in September to Grand Bahia Principe Aquamarine which is low season and prices were good and occupancy low so I found it not busy. Some observations on some key areas are as follows: Check in/checkout Met with a cool coconut/mint/frozen ice drink. Once in the room, which was the correct high floor pool side view room, they called after about 10 min to make sure everything with it was okay - which was a very nice follow up. Checkout is at a different location than the check in, which is different than the check in, and the process is very smooth and efficient. Room: Was well appointed. Personal items such as soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion, dental kit i.e. toothbrush, and shower cap all provided. Tv is mainly Spanish but has a few English channels including CBS, NBC, ABC, FX, TNT, CNN. Cleanliness and upkeep by the maid was good. Pool and beach: Loungers were abundant and did not have to be reserved with a pool towel like most resorts but this was likely because it was low season. Pool guests seemed to have a great time at the bar and with the music playing. Beach has lots of space for guests. Water and waves I found was a bit stronger than in Cuba or Mexico. Food: Restaurant reservations were easy and could be done via a mobile app with the free wifi. It could also be done via a traditional way of speaking to someone or using a reservation system in the lobby. Restaurants I tried that were all very good were the Limbo (French), MEAT, Maiko (Japanese Tepanyaki). Portofini (Italian) was a bit bland for my taste. Aquamarine Buffet for dinner was good. It was moved from the regular buffet restaurant location to a different venue in part to low season. Sports Bar at Ambar, which you have access to, is a great place before or after dinner before evening entertainment. Entertainment is standard to other resorts with evening shows at a theatre venue. The additional surprise was the even better entertainment in the hotel lobby at night. All in all this was a great resort that I found was constantly being maintained around the property. I would recommend it if you are considering it!

Absolument magnifique ! Service fantastique, nourriture excellente. C'était génial de pouvoir utiliser tous les hôtels du complexe. L'équipe de divertissement était géniale. Nous sommes déjà en train de chercher des dates pour le réserver à nouveau ! Nous sommes impatients d'y retourner !

Fantastic Resort! Absolutely beautiful ! Fantastic service, excellent food. It was great to be able to use all of the hotels in the complex. Entertainment team was awesome. We are already looking at dates book it again ! We cannot wait to go back !!

Magnifique esthétiquement mais tout le reste n'était pas ce pour quoi nous nous étions engagés

L'emplacement de l'hôtel était magnifique mais l'endroit était beaucoup trop grand que vous avez dû trolley partout et le service de trolley s'arrête à certaines heures pour certains hôtels. Nous avons invité des amis à passer la journée, la confirmation verbale a été donnée par téléphone, à l'arrivée à la réception, ils ont dit non, c'est contre la politique de l'hôtel. Nous avons dû quitter l'hôtel pour aller voir notre ami. La nourriture. Smh pour cette seule raison je ne reviendrai pas. Fa [... lire plus]de et sans saveur. Je ne sais pas qui leur a donné ces 5 étoiles mais ils doivent les ramener à 3ðŸ¤-ðŸ¾â€â™€ï¸

Beautiful esthetically but everything else was not what we signed up for The location the hotel was beautiful but the place was way too big that you had to trolly it everywhere and trolly service stopes at certain hours for certain hotels. We invited friends to spend the day verbal confirmation was given over phone upon arrival to front desk they said no it's against hotel policy. We had to leave resort to see our friend. Food. Smh for this reason alone i will not be visiting. Bland and tasteless. I don't know who gave them those 5 stars but they need take it down to 3🤷🏾‍♀️

Assez bien

Trop loin de la plage, beaucoup d'algues, trop de gens qui vendent des choses - très ennuyeux. La piscine et le bar de la piscine ferment trop tôt à 18h. Bonne nourriture, belles chambres. A recommander si vous obtenez un bon prix pour les vacances.

Pretty good Too far from the beach, lots of seaweed, too many people selling things- very annoying. Pool and pool bar closes too early 6pm. Good food, nice rooms. Would recommend if you get a good price on the vacation.

Moins bien qu'avant

Pour être aussi brève que possible, je dirai que je suis allée 7 fois au Bahia Principe Resort à Punta Cana. J'ai séjourné sept fois au complexe Bahia Principe de Punta Cana. La dernière fois, c'était il y a 5 ans. Je me rends compte que beaucoup de choses ont changé avec l'ajout de l'Ambar et du Fantasia, mais l'Aquamarine (anciennement vert) s'est dégradé à certains égards. Nous avons eu beaucoup de problèmes avec notre chambre. La serrure était cassée (la chaîne), notre douche avait un écoule [... lire plus]ment lent et c'était dégoûtant la façon dont l'eau s'accumulait dans la douche. Notre climatiseur ne fonctionnait pas très bien (par rapport à nos amis au bout du couloir) ils nous ont collé face à un autre resort. Je leur avais envoyé un courriel 3 semaines avant notre arrivée. J'ai demandé des réservations pour le dîner (que nous avons reçues), donc c'était génial. La nourriture était aussi bonne que d'habitude. Le nouveau bar sportif était génial. J'ai également demandé une chambre contiguë avec nos amis qui fêtaient leur lune de miel. Je le leur ai rappelé à plusieurs reprises et je n'ai pas pu m'empêcher de penser qu'ils n'en avaient pas conscience parce qu'ils sont un couple de même sexe. J'ai fêté mon anniversaire et mon anniversaire de mariage et ils ont reconnu les deux. Une pancarte sur la porte, une baignoire remplie de pétales de roses, mais le problème, c'est que l'eau de la baignoire fuyait, alors ça n'a pas marché. L'idée était sympa. À un moment donné, ils sont allés plus loin et maintenant il semble qu'ils essaient d'encourager les gens à payer pour être surclassés. Ce qui, étant donné que j'avais été là tant de fois, nous aurions dû, à mon avis, être surclassés. 2 hommes que j'ai rencontrés ont été surclassés la première fois qu'ils ont été là ever.... il n'y avait aucune appréciation que nous sommes retournés et pris des amis. La piscine principale était sale. Pas une seule fois je n'ai senti l'odeur du chlore. Je possède une piscine, on peut sentir le chlore. J'ai eu des problèmes avec ça. Une substance noire s'accumule tout autour du périmètre de la piscine. Ils en enlèvent une partie mais pas la totalité. Notre barman Andres était formidable. Les personnes qui travaillent au bar de la piscine, en particulier celles qui se promènent, étaient fantastiques, je les ai adorées ! Je suis allé à la plage une fois. D'habitude, j'adore la plage, mais là, c'était sale. Il y a une odeur d'égout qui flotte dans l'air à différents endroits de la station. Cela ne m'a pas plu. En fin de compte, nous avons passé un bon moment malgré tout L'équipe d'animation était formidable ! Les jeux de piscine étaient tellement amusants (quand ils décidaient de suivre le programme) Dans l'ensemble, j'ai décidé que j'emmènerai mes affaires ailleurs. Il y a de bien meilleures stations.

Not as good as it once was To make it as brief as I can. I have been to the Bahia Principe resort in Punta Cana 7 times. The last time was 5 years ago. I realize a lot has changed with the addition of Ambar & Fantasia but the Aquamarine (previously green) has gone down hill in some ways. We had a lot of issues with our room. The lock was broken (the chain) our shower had a slow drain and it was gross the way the water built up from the shower. Our air conditioner didn’t work very well (compared to our friends down the hall) they stuck us facing another resort. I had emailed them 3 weeks before we were arriving. I requested dinner reservations (which we received) so that was great. The food was Good as it ever was. The new sports bar was awesome. I also requested a adjoining room with our friends who were celebrating their honeymoon. I reminded them of this several occasions and couldn’t help that because they are a same sex couple it wasn’t acknowledged by them. I celebrated my birthday and wedding anniversary and they acknowledged both. Sign on the door, bath tub filled with rose petals but the problem is the tub leaked out the water so that didn’t work out. The thought was nice. At one time they went beyond and now it appears like they’re trying to promote people to pay to upgrade. Which since I had been there so many times we should have in my opinion been upgraded. 2 males I met were upgraded first time there ever.... there was no appreciation that we went back and took friends. The main pool was dirty. Not once did I smell chlorine. I own a pool, you can smell chlorine. I had issues with that. Black stuff builds up all around the perimeter of the pool. They scrub some of It off but not all. Our bartender Andres was amazing. The people working at the pool bar especially the ones walking around were fantastic I loved them! I went to the beach once. Usually I love the beach but it felt dirty. There is a smell of sewage wafting in the air in different spots of the resort. That didn’t set well with me. In the end we had a good Time despite everything. entertainment team was amazing! Pool games were so much fun (when they decided to follow the schedule) Overall I decided that I’ll be taking my business elsewhere. There’s far better resorts.

Un centre de villégiature incroyable !

Le temps passé là-bas a été extraordinaire ! Toutes les personnes qui y travaillaient étaient si amicales et accueillantes ! J'y retournerais sans aucun doute ! Les services étaient de grande qualité et l'environnement était toujours à son meilleur !

Incredible Resort! The time spent there was amazing! Everyone who worked there was so friendly and welcoming! Would definitely go back again! The services were of great quality and the environment was always at its best!

Un moment fantastique !

Cet hôtel et les hôtels environnants sont extraordinaires. Le service était excellent et il y avait beaucoup de choses à voir et à faire. Vous pouvez aller dans d'autres complexes hôteliers car leurs buffets étaient fantastiques ! Réservez vos réservations pour le dîner à l'avance car il’s difficile d'obtenir.

Fantastic time! This hotel and the surrounding hotels are amazing. The service was great and there was lots to see and do. You can go to other hotel resorts as their buffets were fantastic! Book your dinner reservations ahead of time as it’s difficult to get.

Déçu

L'hôtel et le terrain sont très beaux, le complexe lui-même est extrêmement grand. Nous y sommes allés comme cadeau de nos enfants pour célébrer notre 33ème anniversaire et nous avons été déçus par le service et la nourriture. tout d'abord, le buffet était à l'extérieur et exposé à la chaleur et aux oiseaux, j'ai déjà vécu cela deux fois auparavant et les deux fois j'ai été très malade et je ne reviendrai plus jamais dans cette situation, alors nous avons exploré et trouvé un buffet intérieur c [... lire plus]limatisé mais nous n'avons pas été autorisés à y entrer parce qu'il faisait partie de la section Amber, alors nous avons parlé à la réception et la seule façon de pouvoir manger dans les buffets climatisés était de rester dans cette section, alors nous avons dû améliorer notre chambre, ce que nous avons fait, ce qui nous a coûté 384,00 de plus, le service et la nourriture dans cette section étaient très bons et nous l'avons beaucoup mieux appréciée. Un autre point que j'aimerais partager est que les lits....hard ont un rocher, j'ai des problèmes de dos et disons simplement que c'était une joie de retourner dans mon lit moelleux et confortable Attention au times share, nous avons été trompés sur les free bits et avons perdu 2h30 de notre temps pour cela... j'aurais dû être plus malin mais j'ai perdu cette bataille... bon, j'ai retenu la leçon

Disappointed The hotel and grounds are very nice, the complex itself is extremely large. We went here has a gift from our children to celebrate our 33rd Anniversary and was disappointed in the service and food. 1st of all the buffet was all outside and exposed to heat and birds, I experienced this twice before and both times I was very sick and never again would I go through that again, so we explored around and found an indoor a/c Buffett but we were not allowed in because it was part of the Amber section, so we spoke to front desk and only way we could eat in the a/c buffets was to stay in that section so we had to upgrade our room which we did costing us another 384.00, the service and food in that section was very good and we enjoyed it much better. Another point I would like to share is the beds....hard has a rock, I have back issues and let’s just say it was a joy to get back in my soft comfy bed Watch out for the times share we were mislead about the free bits and lost 2 1/2 hours of our time to this...I should of been smarter but I lost that battle...oh well learned my lesson

Fantastic Resort

Le Grand Bahia Principe Aquamarine et l'ensemble du complexe Bahia sont absolument géniaux. Le personnel est très sympathique et arrangeant. C'est l'un des complexes les plus propres que j'aie jamais visités. Les restaurants sont excellents et proposent différents menus pour satisfaire tout le monde. Nous retournerons sans aucun doute dans ce complexe !

Grand Bahia Principe Aquamarine and the entire Bahia Compound is absolutely great. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. It's one of the cleanest resort I've ever been to. The restaurants are great with different menus to accommodate everyone. We will definitely be going back to this resort again!

Incroyable

La nourriture était excellente, les gens étaient sympathiques. J'ai passé un excellent moment La piscine était propre, la plage était belle. Très bon service. Le divertissement était amusant. Le personnel était serviable, dans l'ensemble nous avons passé un très bon moment et nous le referons

Amazing Food was great , people were friendly. Had an amazing time Pool was clean beach was nice. Great service. Entertainment was fun. Helpful staff , overall we had a very good time and would do it again

Bon centre de villégiature

La station est énorme tout d'abord et divisé d'une manière étrange que certaines sections ne sont pas accessibles à même ceux qui séjournent dans la section adultes seulement.....n'est pas ma première visite là-bas et aurait dû savoir que, mais je n'ai pas aimé cela. Les chambres et le terrain sont bien.... et il en va de même pour les boissons, mais rien d'exceptionnel. Problèmes avec les personnes souffrant d'allergies et de contamination croisée. 75 % des personnes ne parlent pas anglais et l [... lire plus]a communication est difficile. Je comprends que je visite leur pays mais cela affecte la communication et le service. Globalement ok peut-être un 4 mais trop loin des restaurants et autres commodités. Les gens sont très gentils donc pour le prix ok.

Good resort The resort is huge first off and divided in a strange way as some sections are not accessible to even those who stay in the adults only section.....not my first visit there and should have known that but I did not like it. Rooms and grounds are good....and so is good and drinks but nothing exceptional. Issues with people with allergies with cross contamination. 75 per cent do not speak English and communication is difficult. I understand I am visiting their country but it does affect communication and service. Overall ok maybe a 4 but too far between restaurants and other amenities. People very kind so for the price ok.

Des vacances d'excellente qualité

La propriété est bien entretenue et le service est le numéro 1. La nourriture était incroyable car vous avez la possibilité de choisir un restaurant différent chaque soir. Les gens sont très serviables et essaient toujours de rester agréables. Nous reviendrons sans aucun doute.

Excellent quality vacations The property is well maintained and the service is top number 1. Food was amazing because you have the opportunity to have a different restaurant every night. People are very helpful and always try to stay pleasant. We will definitely go back.

Un centre de villégiature extraordinaire !

J'ai beaucoup aimé l'hôtel. Ce fut 7 jours agréables. Je n'ai juste pas aimé l'excès d'algues dans la mer, cela m'a mis mal à l'aise. Le service, à de rares exceptions près, était excellent. La chambre était la meilleure dans laquelle j'ai jamais séjourné. Toutes les parties du complexe sont bien nettoyées et les jardins sont très bien entretenus.

Amazing resort! I really liked the hotel. It was 7 pleasant days. I just did not like the excess of seaweed in the sea, it made me uncomfortable. The service with rare exceptions, was great. The room was the best that I have ever stayed in. All areas of the resort are well cleaned and the gardens are very well maintained.

Un personnel et un service formidables

J'ai séjourné à l'Amber resort, en fait transféré de l'aquamarine. Je trouvais que l'aquamarine convenait mieux aux jeunes vacanciers de 20 ans et je voulais quelque chose de plus calme. L'Amber était génial ! Le personnel était incroyable, amical et très accommodant ! Je me suis sentie en sécurité et sans soucis !

Terrific staff and service I stayed at Amber resort, actually transferred there from aquamarine. I found aquamarine to be better suited for the young 20’s vacationers and I wanted something quieter. Amber was awesome! Staff were amazing, friendly, and very accommodating! I felt very safe and worry free!

Bonne heure

J'ai adoré le fait qu'il s'agisse d'un complexe réservé aux adultes. Le bar de la piscine était amusant. Terrain bien entretenu. L'entretien et le nettoyage sont effectués tous les jours et toutes les nuits. Les chambres étaient très belles. Le personnel était sympathique. La nourriture était également excellente. L'équipe de divertissement était très amusante et enthousiaste.

Good time I loved the fact that it was an adults only resort. Pool bar was fun. Well maintained grounds. Maintenance and cleaning done daily and nightly. Room was very nice. Staff were friendly. Food was great as well. Entertainment crew were super fun and enthusiastic.

Belle station balnéaire

Le complexe semblait neuf et était très propre. C'est l'un des meilleurs complexes que j'ai visités en République dominicaine. Nous avons séjourné au rez-de-chaussée mais ce n'était pas trop bruyant. Je reviendrai certainement à l'avenir.

Beautiful resort The resort seemed new and was very clean. One of the better resorts I have been to in the Dominican. We stayed on the ground level but it was not too noisy. Would definitely be visiting again in the future.

Grand Bahia principe aquamarine

Les chambres étaient magnifiques mais malheureusement ils ne vous disent pas quelle est votre vue jusqu'à ce que vous soyez là et nous étions face à la zone du personnel donc c'était bruyant avec des camions et des cris. J'ai quand même passé un bon moment, le personnel de la piscine et du lobby aquamarine était très patient et gentil sauf un barman qui a mal parlé de mon petit ami parce qu'il ne parlait pas espagnol mais j'ai compris et le couple d'Espagnols à côté de moi aussi. Le personnel du [... lire plus] bar sportif attendait des pourboires et n'était pas reconnaissant si vous en donniez. Si vous voulez rester entre vous, c'est un excellent complexe, avec une vue et une piscine superbes, mais ne vous attendez pas à devenir amis avec les employés. De plus, la plage n'est pas réservée aux adultes, ce qui était décevant lorsque vous avez payé pour un complexe réservé aux adultes. 3/5 étoiles

The rooms were stunning but unfortunately they don’t tell you what your view is till you get there and we were facing the staff area so it was loud with trucks and yelling. I still had a great time the pool staff and the aquamarine lobby staff was very patient and nice except one bartender talked poorly of my boyfriend because he couldn’t speak Spanish but I understood and so did the Spanish couple beside me. The sports bar staff expected tips and weren’t grateful if you did tip. If you want to keep to yourself it’s a great resort great view and pool but don’t expect to be friends with the workers. Also the beach is not adults only so that was disappointing when you paid for an adults only resort. 3/5 stars

Inoubliable

Les restaurants à la carte étaient incroyables, certains des meilleurs plats que j'ai mangés dans ma vie. L'environnement est très accueillant et l'atmosphère est excellente. La nourriture du buffet était répétitive mais le personnel était très doué pour changer les épices et créer des plats traditionnels en fonction du thème de la soirée. Dans l'ensemble, il y avait un peu de monde, mais c'était prévisible car il s'agit d'un ÉNORME centre de villégiature. Plages très fréquentées, beaucoup de co [... lire plus]raux et d'algues sur la plage et flottant dans l'eau, mais le personnel s'en occupe très bien en les ramassant constamment et en les jetant dans un camion. Encore une fois, mon petit ami et moi avons passé un excellent moment, nous retournerons certainement à l'Aquamarine mais nous voulons aussi vraiment aller voir l'Ambar !

Unforgettable Al a carte restaurants were amazing, some of the best food I've ever had in my life. Very welcoming environment and great atmosphere. Buffet food was repetitive but the staff was very good at changing spices and creating traditional dishes according to the cuisine theme of the night. Overall a little crowed but that was expected because it is a HUGE resort. Busy beaches, lots of coral and seaweed on the beach and floating in the water; although the staff is very good dealing with it by constantly raking it up and shovelling it into a truck. Again, my boyfriend and I had a great time, we will definitely be going back to the Aquamarine but we also really want to check out the Ambar!!!

WiFi difficile à connecter. Plage très agréable, mais pour la première fois depuis 15 ans que nous fréquentons ce complexe, il y avait beaucoup d'algues. Le resort devient restrictif quant à la façon de se déplacer dans les différents endroits. Il n'est pas intéressé par la reconnaissance des client [... lire plus]s réguliers, à moins que vous ne réserviez directement auprès de lui.

Above average resort The grounds were kept in immaculate shape. Pool area clean. Buffet restaurant great staff, food above average, very clean. Customer service staff, hit and miss. WiFi difficult to connect to. Beach area very nice, but first time in 15 years that we have been going to this resort had a lot of seaweed. Resort is becoming restrictive as to how to move around to different locations. Not interested in recognizing repeat customers unless you book directly with them.

Le Bahai Principe Aquamarine, Punta Cana

Tout était excellent, la nourriture et l'hôtel, le personnel était très serviable quand on le lui demandait. Les boissons étaient bonnes et tous les Al a cartes étaient excellents. Pour aller à la plage, il fallait prendre un choo choo, ce qui n'était généralement pas un problème, car il y avait beaucoup de cartes, mais parfois elles étaient bloquées et il fallait attendre 10 minutes ou plus.

The Bahai Principe Aquamarine, Punta Cana Everything was great, the food and the hotel, the staff was very helpful when asked. Drinks were good and all the Al a cartes were excellent. Getting to the beach you had to take a choo choo which wasn't usually a problem there was a lot cartes but sometimes they would get tied up and had to wait for 10 minutes or more.
