Hotel Caracol: Plus que ce à quoi je m'attendais

C'était ma cinquième visite à Santa Lucia, mais mon premier séjour à l'Amigo Caracol. J'ai un ami cubain qui a travaillé dans cet hôtel et qui m'a recommandé de l'essayer. J'ai été agréablement surpris, l'enregistrement s'est déroulé sans problème et a été bien organisé. La première impression était que l'hôtel semblait plus intime que l'hôtel voisin, le Gran Club. La plupart du personnel que j'ai rencontré était amical et serviable car j'étais seul et je ne savais pas où tout se trouvait. Le ba [... lire plus]r du hall était bien approvisionné, mais je suis plutôt du genre à boire du rhum et de la bière et je n'ai pas cherché quelque chose d'extravagant. Ma chambre était proche de la salle de sport et était bien aménagée avec une belle vue sur le balcon depuis le 2ème étage. Le ménage était excellent et j'ai apprécié l'attention portée aux détails, car je ne suis pas le plus ordonné en vacances. La salle à manger était bien préparée et le choix des plats était conforme aux attentes. Je ne suis pas le plus aventureux lorsqu'il s'agit de la nourriture de l'hôtel, mais j'ai trouvé mes choix bien préparés et abondants. La tasse de café était toujours pleine et très appréciée le matin car j'avais toujours besoin d'un réveil. Je ne peux pas faire trop de commentaires sur les divertissements car j'étais rarement dans l'hôtel le soir, mais les nuits où je suis resté, ils étaient animés et énergiques même si la foule était peu nombreuse. La prochaine visite se fera à Brisas avec des amis, mais je n'hésiterai pas à recommander et à revenir.

More than I expected This was my 5th visit to Santa Lucia but 1st stay at Amigo Caracol. I have a Cuban friend who worked at this hotel and recommend to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised, the check in went smooth and well organized. First impression was that the resort appeared more inimate than next door at Gran Club. Most staff I met were friendly and helpful as I was on my own and not framiliar with where everything was. The lobby bar was well stocked, but I am more of a straight rum and beer guy and did not look for anything fancy. My room was close to the to the gym facilities and was well appointed with a nice balcony view from 2nd floor. Housekeeping was excellent and I appreciated the attention to detail, as I am not the most tidy guy while on holiday. Dining room facility was well prepared and food selection was as expected. I am not the most adventrous when it comes to resort food but found my choices well prepared and plentiful. Coffee cup was always kept full and much appreciated in the morning because I always needed a wake up. Entertainment I cannot comment on to much as I was rarely in resort in the evenings but, the nights I stuck around it was lively and energetic even though the crowd was thin. Next visit will be at Brisas with some friends but would not hesitate to recommend and return.

Hotel Caracol: Chaleur et accueil

Un petit coin magique avec des gens très accueillants. Le temps est chaud, la plage a beaucoup à voir. Le bar de la piscine est incroyable avec un personnel très amusant. On se sent toujours en sécurité. L'hôtel est propre et confortable. La nourriture est tout à fait correcte, si les gens arrêtent de dire que la nourriture est horrible, ils se rendront compte qu'elle est en fait bonne et qu'il y a beaucoup de choix sains. Warmth and Welcoming A magical little spot with the best most welcoming people. Weather is warm, beach has lots to see. Pool bar is amazing with great fun staff. Always feel very safe. Hotel is clean and comfortable. Food is just fine, if people stop saying the food is awful they will realize it is actually good with lots of healthy choices. Bread is amazing, fish is wonderful. Haven't had a bad meal yet.

Hotel Caracol: Grand centre de villégiature !

Je fréquente ce complexe depuis quatre ans et j'apprécie chaque fois mon séjour :) C'est la meilleure station de la région. Le personnel est tellement amical et gentil avec tout le monde. Continuez à faire du bon travail !

Great Resort! I have been going to this resort for the last four years, and I enjoy my stay there every time:) It is the best resort in the area. The staff are so friendly, and kind to everyone. keep up the great work!

Hotel Caracol: Un grand moment, des gens formidables !

Tout au long de notre semaine de vacances à Caracol, nous n'avons cessé de nous divertir et nous nous sommes amusés comme des fous. Caracol est un endroit idéal pour faire à peu près n'importe quoi ! Nous prévoyons déjà d'y retourner ! J'ai hâte d'y retourner !

Great time, greater people! Throughout our week vacation at Caracol we were continuously entertained and had the time of our lives. Caracol is a great place to to do just about anything! Already planning to go back! Cannot wait!

Brisas Santa Lucia: Des vacances géniales

J'ai apprécié l'hôtel, l'agencement était merveilleux, petit et pittoresque - propre, et l'animation le soir était vraiment bonne, la nourriture est typiquement cubaine, la plupart du temps il y avait une grande variété.

Awesome Vacation I enjoyed the hotel, the layout was wonderful, small and quaint - clean, and the entertainment in the evening was really good, the food is typical Cuban food, most of the time there was a great variety.

Brisas Santa Lucia: Vous avez l'impression d'être chez vous !

J'ai fréquenté cet hôtel à de nombreuses reprises et je m'y sens toujours comme chez moi. Lors de ma dernière visite, j'avais besoin d'un médecin et j'ai eu droit à un service très rapide et il est venu me voir à chaque fois. Je reviendrai encore une fois !

Feel like you are at home! I have been to this hotel many times and they always make me feel at home. Last visit I needed the doctor and I had very prompt service and he would check on me every time he saw me. I will return again!

Hotel Caracol: Un deuxième séjour formidable

C'était la deuxième fois que je venais au Club Amigo Caracol ! Le temps était magnifique et le personnel fantastique ! Ils ont fait de très bons changements comme déplacer le snack bar pour le rendre plus proche de l'entrée de la plage. Notre chambre était parfaite et très propre, tout fonctionnait bien et nous avions toujours de l'eau chaude. Dans l'ensemble, c'est un excellent complexe hôtelier qui en a pour son argent ! J'espère y retourner bientôt.

Awesome Second Stay This was my second time to Club Amigo Caracol! The weather was beautiful and the staff were fantastic! They have made some really great changes such as relocating the snack bar to make it closer to the beach entrance. Our room was perfect and very clean everything functioned well and we always had hot water. Overall a great resort with lots of bang for your buck! I hope to return again soon.

Brisas Santa Lucia: Exactement ce que nous recherchions !

Parfois, on a juste envie de s'éloigner du froid, de se détendre et de ne s'occuper de rien. Brisas Santa Lucia était parfait pour une escapade d'une semaine. Mon ami et moi avons été traités avec courtoisie dès notre arrivée. Nous avons demandé à changer de chambre car la première chambre qu'on nous a proposée était occupée par un fumeur. Après avoir vu plusieurs chambres, nous en avons choisi une au deuxième étage avec un balcon donnant sur la mer - parfait ! La chambre était propre et dispos [... lire plus]ait d'une belle salle de bains avec une bonne douche. La plage était superbe. Certaines zones étaient recouvertes d'algues, mais dans l'ensemble, toutes les stations balnéaires situées le long de cette partie de la plage ratissent régulièrement le sable. L'une de mes activités préférées consistait à faire l'aller-retour entre la jetée et la plage, qui durait 45 minutes, chaque matin. La couleur de l'océan était d'un bleu turquoise incroyable ! Je sais que vous voulez en savoir plus sur la nourriture ! Mon ami et moi avons tendance à être plus sains, et nous n'avons pas été déçus par les options disponibles au buffet quotidien. De nombreux fruits et légumes frais, du poisson grillé, de la charcuterie et des salades ont fait notre bonheur. Vous avez également la possibilité de choisir une grande variété de plats préparés, et la table des desserts proposait de nombreuses pâtisseries, des glaces et des crèmes pâtissières. Le bar propose une bonne sélection de boissons et de bières de qualité. Mon préféré était un bon Cointreau sur glace à siroter près de la fontaine de la cour avant le dîner. Vous pouvez également obtenir une dose de liqueur dans votre expresso ou votre americano du matin au bar à café situé au bord de la piscine. Chaque matin, la barrista offre aux dames une fleur fraîche pour leurs cheveux. Ce sont ces petits détails qui ont rendu notre séjour encore plus spécial. En somme, une escapade parfaite pour échapper au froid de l'hiver.

Exactly what we were looking for! Sometimes you just want to get away from the cold, relax, and not have to worry about anything. Brisas Santa Lucia was perfect for a week-long getaway. My friend and I were treated with courtesy from the moment we arrived. We asked for a room change since the first room we were offered had previously been occupied by a smoker. After being showed a couple of rooms, we ended up choosing one on the second floor with a sea-view balcony - perfect! The room was clean and had a nice bathroom with a good shower. The beach was great. Some areas had seaweed on them, but for the most part all the resorts along that stretch rake the sand regularly. One of my favorite activities was taking the 45 minute walk to the pier and back each morning. The color of the ocean was this amazing turquoise blue! Now I know you want to hear about the food! My friend and I tend to be on the healthy side, and we were not disappointed with the options available at the daily buffet. Lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, grilled fish, cold cuts and salads kept us happy. You also have the option for a huge variety of prepared foods, and the dessert table offered lots of baked treats, ice cream and custards. The bar offered a good selection of quality drinks and beers. My favorite was a nice Cointreau on ice to be sipped by the courtyard fountain before dinner. You can also get a shot of liqueur in your morning espresso or americano at the poolside coffee bar. Ladies are given a fresh flower for their hair by the barrista each morning. It is the small details like these that added up to make our stay just that little bit more special. All in all, a perfect getaway from the winter cold.

Hotel Caracol: Un excellent rapport qualité-prix

Ce n'est pas un complexe 5 étoiles, mais alors nous n'avons pas payé pour un complexe 5 étoiles. Nous avons séjourné au Club Amigo Caracol à la fin du mois de novembre 2013 et avons été agréablement surpris par notre chambre, la nourriture, la piscine et le personnel. Notre chambre était lumineuse et propre avec un excellent A/C, et une salle de bain mise à jour, la nourriture était excellente, vraiment délicieuse et une variété raisonnable, (assurez-vous d'essayer le grill sur la plage) et le p [... lire plus]ersonnel était sympathique et soucieux de s'assurer que nous avons passé une bonne semaine. La plage n'est pas ma préférée à Cuba, mais si vous êtes un surfeur à voile, vous l'adorerez, mais la piscine était propre et spacieuse avec beaucoup de chaises longues et d'espaces ombragés, donc cela ne nous a pas dérangés. Les spectacles du soir étaient amusants et pour ceux qui aiment la vie nocturne, il y a deux clubs locaux juste au bout de l'allée, vous pouvez donc y aller à pied. Nous avons voyagé avec Hola Sun tours et avons volé sur Cubana Air. Les agents de notre compagnie touristique ont été très serviables et l'excursion gratuite valait la peine de prendre la journée depuis la station, ce qui nous a permis de voir la campagne environnante et de comprendre comment vit le Cubain moyen. Le seul problème du vol est que l'escale à Varadero a duré deux fois plus longtemps qu'elle n'aurait dû, ce qui a retardé l'arrivée au centre de villégiature. Heureusement, l'hôtel a gardé le buffet ouvert tard pour nous et s'est empressé de nous enregistrer et de nous conduire à nos chambres dans les plus brefs délais. Si vous êtes à la recherche de vacances bon marché où vous pourrez vous amuser et vous faire de nouveaux amis, essayez le Club Caracol. Il est très important de se rappeler que tout voyage est ce que vous en faites.

Great Value for money This is not a 5 star resort, but then we didn't pay for a 5 star resort. We stayed at Club Amigo Caracol the end of November 2013 and were pleasantly surprised by our room, the food, the pool and the staff. Our room was bright and clean with excellent A/C, and updated bathroom, the food was excellent, truly delicious and reasonable variety,(make sure you try the grill on the beach) and the staff were friendly and anxious to make sure we had a good week. The beach is not my favourite beach in Cuba but if you are a wind surfer, you will love it, but the pool was clean and spacious with lots of lounges and shaded areas, so we didn't mind. The evening shows were fun and for those that like the night life, there are two local clubs right at the end of the driveway so you can just walk to it. We travelled with Hola Sun tours and flew on Cubana Air. Our tour company agents were very helpful and the complimentary excursion was well worth taking the day from the resort giving a chance to see the nearby countryside and understand how the average Cuban lives. The only problem with the flight was the stop in Varadero ended up being twice as long as it should've been making it very late getting to the resort. Fortunately the resort kept the buffet open late for us and were very quick to get us registered and to our rooms in a timely fashion. If you are looking for an inexpensive vacation where you can have a lot of fun and make some great new friends, then give Club Caracol a try. It is very important to remember, that any trip is what you make of it.

cet endroit n'est pas l'endroit où vous voulez amener votre meilleure moitié, la nourriture est bas de gamme de Cuba, c'est propre, le frigo est un gardien ? pas froid du tout.ils essaient mais ce n'est pas le cas. J'ai été partout à Cuba, cet endroit "essaie"

get what you pay for! this place is not where you want to bring a better half, food is lower end Cuba, its clean, frig is a keeper? not cold at all.they try but it just doesn't happen. Been all over Cuba, this place "trys"

Brisas Santa Lucia: pas très bon

les chambres ont besoin d'être rénovées et le terrain était super et plus de personnel pour surveiller ce qui se passe dans la piscine personnel qui sait comment réparer les choses dans les chambres le centre de villégiature est dépassé et a besoin d'être mis à jour . et le personnel un peu plus enghish

not to good the rooms need fixing and the grounds were great and more stafe to be watching what goes on in the pool staf that knows how to fix things in rooms the resort is out of date and needs updateing . and staff that speck more enghish

Brisas Santa Lucia: Un service exceptionnel

Ce centre de villégiature était très bien dans l'ensemble. Nous sommes un jeune couple qui n'aime pas les grandes fêtes. Le complexe était très agréable et le personnel d'animation était génial le soir et tout au long de la journée au bord de la piscine ! Le service était excellent et les restaurants à la carte étaient vraiment bien. Le service de bar 24 heures sur 24 était très bon et la nourriture était incroyable ! Nous avons eu quelques problèmes avec la fermeture de notre porte mais le pers [... lire plus]onnel est venu et a tout changé pour nous. La plongée avec masque et tuba était vraiment bonne non loin du rivage et les scooters étaient parfaits pour aller faire un tour à la plage locale. Nous avons passé un excellent moment et nous y retournerions volontiers !

Amazing service This resort was great overall. We are a young couple that don't like a huge party scene. The resort was really nice and the entertainment staff were great at night and throughout the day by the pool too! The service was great and the a la carte restaurans were really good. The 24hr bar service was so good and the food was amazing! We had some trouble with our door locking but the staff came and changed the entire thing for us. The snorkeling was really good not far from shore and the scooters were great to go out for a ride to the local beach. We had an amazing time and would go back again!!

Brisas Santa Lucia: Les vacances !!!

Bon complexe ! La nourriture pourrait être meilleure, j'aime la plage et les activités, les chambres sont propres, les lits pourraient être plus confortables et ils devraient installer un jacuzzi. Et un hammam et un sauna. Les boissons étaient excellentes, les employés sympathiques pour la plupart ! Merci
