Bahia Principe Explore La Romana: Dans l'ensemble, on s'est bien amusés !

Le Bahia Principe La Romana est un magnifique complexe hôtelier dans l'ensemble, en particulier les jardins : ils sont absolument magnifiques et très bien entretenus. Les chambres sont agréables à première vue, mais dès qu’on y passe un peu de temps, on se rend compte qu’elles sont vieillottes et qu’elles présentent pas mal de défauts. La nourriture était bonne, avec beaucoup de variété et un large choix, même si j’aurais aimé goûter à davantage de plats dominicains authentiques pendant mon séj [... lire plus]our. L'une de mes plus grandes déceptions a été l'océan. J'avais fait beaucoup de recherches au préalable et j'avais entendu dire à maintes reprises que La Romana offrait certaines des plus belles vues sur l'océan et l'une des meilleures eaux de République dominicaine, mais honnêtement, cela n'a pas été mon expérience. Si je retourne en République dominicaine, je choisirai probablement de séjourner plus près de Punta Cana. Il convient également de mentionner qu’il y avait parfois des barrières de communication, car de nombreux employés ne parlaient pas beaucoup anglais. Tout le monde était sympathique, mais cela rendait parfois les choses difficiles. Dans l’ensemble, nous avons tout de même passé un bon séjour grâce à la magnifique propriété et aux options de restauration de qualité, mais il y a clairement des points à améliorer.

Overall good time! Bahia Principe La Romana is a beautiful resort overall, especially the grounds — they are absolutely stunning and very well maintained. The rooms are nice at first glance, but once you spend some time in them you can definitely tell they are dated and there are quite a few imperfections. The food was good with lots of variety and plenty of options to choose from, although I was hoping for more authentic Dominican food during the stay. One of the biggest disappointments for me was the ocean. I had done a lot of research beforehand and kept hearing that La Romana had some of the best ocean views and water in the Dominican Republic, but that honestly wasn’t my experience. If I return to the DR, I would probably stay closer to Punta Cana instead. Another thing worth mentioning is that there were communication barriers at times since many of the workers didn’t speak much English. Everyone was friendly, but it occasionally made things difficult. Overall, we still had a good trip thanks to the beautiful property and solid food options, but there are definitely some areas that could be improved.

Playabachata Hotel: Un complexe hôtelier exceptionnel

C'est magnifique, tout est impeccable, les gens sont très gentils et toujours prêts à aider, la piscine est superbe, les animations sont géniales, les spectacles en soirée sont incroyables, et le meilleur, c'est Superman, Happy Boy, de l'équipe des animations, les meilleurs danseurs, Eddy et Randy. Nous avons été très satisfaits de notre séjour.

Le cadre était magnifique, la cuisine excellente, la chambre superbe, la plage magnifique et les piscines très agréables. Les animations étaient variées et divertissantes. Une escapade formidable, je la recommande vivement. Je m'y suis senti en totale sécurité. Le personnel était courtois et serviable.

Great resort Grounds were beautiful, food fantastic, room was great, beautiful beach and nice pools. Entertainment was on going and fun. A great getaway highly recommend it. Felt very safe. Staff curtious and helpful.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Très beau complexe hôtelier

Un complexe bien entretenu. Des chambres propres. C'est très sympa d'avoir une chambre avec accès direct à la piscine. La nourriture est très bonne. Ils servent de la Coors Light, c'est génial ! La seule chose qui nous a déplu, c'est que des gens « réservent » des transats à la plage et à la piscine très tôt le matin, alors qu'ils ne les utilisent qu'aux alentours de 9 ou 10 heures. C'est très frustrant !

Very nice resort Well kept resort. Clean rooms. Swim up room is very fun to have. Food is very good. They do serve Coors Light, amazing ! The only thing we did not like is people ''reserving'' chairs at the beach and at the pool very early in the morning, and they use them around 9 or 10am. Very frustrating !

Viva Tangerine by Wyndham: Incroyable !

C'était formidable à tous les égards ! Une petite suggestion... J'adorerais assister aux spectacles en soirée, mais pourriez-vous les faire commencer plus tôt pour nous, les plus âgés... Ils sont trop tardifs. J'ai adoré le spectacle « Horse on the Beach » et les petites boutiques de Cabarete !

Amazing! Wonderful in absolutely every way ! One suggestion...would love to see the night shows but please have them start earlier for many of us older folk ...they are too late .?Loved the Horse on the Beach and the little shops in Caberate !

Barcelo Bavaro Palace: un complexe hôtelier exceptionnel

Le Barcelo Barvaro Palace à Punta Cana est un véritable joyau de luxe et de détente ! Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis avec des sourires chaleureux et un enregistrement sans encombre. Notre chambre face à l'océan était propre et le balcon, équipé d'un jacuzzi, donnait sur l'eau turquoise et la plage. La plage offre un sable blanc immaculé et de nombreuses chaises longues ; l'eau est parfaite pour la baignade et la plongée avec tuba, avec une faune marine riche en tortues, poissons et [... lire plus] bébés raies, et bien d'autres choses à découvrir. Pour les promeneurs, des kilomètres de plage s'étendent à perte de vue dans les deux directions. La restauration était excellente, des buffets aux menus à la carte, avec un large choix. Le parcours de golf, conçu par PD Dye, était incroyable, et il y avait de nombreuses activités pour tous les goûts : trop nombreuses pour les énumérer toutes, du casino à la discothèque en passant par les parcs aquatiques. Ce complexe a tout pour plaire à chacun, vous ne serez pas déçus. Le service était très bon ; parfois, la barrière de la langue rendait les choses difficiles, mais l'application d'interprétation a grandement facilité les choses. C'est un superbe complexe pour les familles, et il y a également une partie réservée aux adultes. Je tiens également à remercier Shae Dureault, notre agent TripCentral, de nous avoir aidés une fois de plus à trouver d'autres superbes vacances, et nous avons hâte de revenir ici.

amazing resort Barcelo Barvaro Palace in Punta Cana is a true gem of luxury and relaxation! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and seamless check in Our ocean front room was clean and the balcony with jacuzzi overlooking the turquoise water and beach. The beach has pristine white sand and lots of loungers and the water is prefect for swimming and snorkeling the water wildlife turtles and fish baby stingrays lots to see and for the walkers you have miles of beach to walk in both directions. Dining was excellent from the buffets to all the a la carte lots to pick from. The golf course a PD Dye course was amazing and lots of activities for everyone there is too many to list casino to disco water parks this resort has it all for everyone you won't be disappointed. The service was very good sometimes the language barrier made things hard but with the interpreter app made thing a lot easier. it's a great resort for family's and there is an adult side as well. I also like to thank Shae Dureault out tripcentral agent for helping us again for finding another great vacation and we are looking forward to returning here.

Iberostar Waves Costa Dorada: Un endroit magnifique pour passer ses vacances

Je ne trouve absolument rien à redire : toutes les chambres sont agréables, la climatisation fonctionne bien et les boissons sont bien fraîches. La cuisine est vraiment excellente, il y a plein d'activités à faire et la plage est magnifique. Le personnel de ce complexe est imbattable : des jardiniers au concierge en passant par les réceptionnistes, tout le monde est formidable. Tout le monde se met en quatre pour que vos vacances soient inoubliables. L'équipe d'animation fait un travail formida [... lire plus]ble lors des spectacles en soirée. J'ai déjà séjourné dans ce complexe cinq fois et j'y retournerai dès que possible.

Beautiful Place to Vacation I cannot find anything negative to say at all the rooms are nice, the airconditioning is cold, as are the drinks. The food is really good here lots of things to do and the beach is beautiful. The staff at this resort can't be beat from the grounds people to the concierge and front desk staff are all amazing. Everyone goes out of their way to make your vacation a great one. The entertainment staff do an amazing job during the nightly shows. I have been to this resort now 5 times and will be going back again as soon as i can.

Royalton CHIC Punta Cana: UNE EXPÉRIENCE HORRIBLE

Malheureusement, nous avons vécu une très mauvaise expérience au Roylton Chic. Le personnel : même si certains employés étaient formidables (un grand merci à Raul), la plupart n'étaient pas aimables. C'était comme si nous les dérangions. La nourriture : ce fut une grande déception. Lors de notre premier dîner au steakhouse, ma femme a commandé la brochette de poulet. Les morceaux de poulet étaient tellement trop cuits qu'ils étaient immangeables. Le lendemain matin, nous avions un rendez-vous à [... lire plus] 9 h 30 pour aller jouer au golf. Nous sommes allés au Diamond Club pour le petit-déjeuner. Arrivés à 8 h 45, nous avons commandé tout de suite. Le repas n'est jamais arrivé et nous avons dû partir à 9 h 25 pour attraper notre taxi. Il n'y avait qu'une seule serveuse pour tout le restaurant. Le soir suivant, au restaurant italien, j'ai commandé ce qui était décrit comme un assortiment de poissons frais. C'était en fait un mélange de morceaux de poisson frits, tellement trop cuits qu'ils avaient un goût horrible. Puis nous avons déjeuné au restaurant de la plage. Nous avons commandé des ailes de poulet, une salade taco et une salade César. Les ailes de poulet sont restées sous les lampes chauffantes pendant 30 minutes en attendant les salades. Nous avons dû demander au serveur la raison de ce retard. Il nous a expliqué que le cuisinier était nouveau et qu’il était en phase d’apprentissage. Nous avons ensuite vu le cuisinier et le serveur préparer les salades à mains nues. Nous avons alors décidé de quitter le complexe hôtelier. Nous avons rencontré le représentant de Sunwing sur place pour déposer une plainte officielle. Cette personne, Dubby, s’est montrée très efficace et nous a aidés en cherchant à connaître tous les problèmes. Nous avons ensuite rencontré le directeur de l’établissement pour passer en revue nos problèmes. Nous avons pris des dispositions pour déménager dans un autre complexe. En 35 ans de voyages, nous n’avons jamais quitté un complexe en raison de problèmes. Sunwing nous a remboursé les jours passés au Royalton Chic, mais nous avons perdu une journée entière de nos vacances à déménager vers l’autre complexe.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE Unfortunately we had a very bad experience at the Roylton Chic. Staffing - while some staff were great, shoutout to Raul, a great deal were not friendly. It was like we were bothering them. Food - this was a great disappointment. First dinner steakhouse, my wife had the Chicken brochette. Chicken pieces were so overcooked you could not eat it. Next morning we had a pickup at 9:30 to play golf. Went to the Diamond club for breakfast. Arrived at 8:45, ordered breakfast right away. Did not arrive and had to leave at 9:25 to catch our taxi. There was only one waitress serving the entire restaurant. Next night in the Italian, I ordered what was described as a variety of fresh fish. It was deep fried group of fish pieces that were so over cooked that tasted terrible. Then we had lunch at the beach restaurant. We ordered chicken wings, taco salad and a Caesar salad. The chicken wings sat under the warming lights for 30 minutes waiting for the salads. We had to ask the waiter what was the delay. He advised the cook was new and learning. Then we watched the cook and waiter use their bare hands to prepare the salads. We decided at that point to the leave the resort. We met with the Sunwing representative on sighr to file a formal complaint. That person Dubby was very good and assisted us wanting to know all the issues. We them met with the manager of the property to review our issues. We made arrangements to move to another resort. In 35 years of travelling, we have never left a resort due to issues. Sunning refunded us for the days we were on at the Royalton Chic but lost a full day of our vacation moving to the other resort. T

Royalton CHIC Punta Cana: La pire expérience de ma vie !!

C'est la première fois en toutes ces années de voyage que je quitte un complexe hôtelier avant la fin de mon séjour. Le bruit provenant de la piscine et des travaux de construction/rénovation était insupportable. On nous sollicitait sans cesse pour nous vendre des forfaits spa. La nourriture était immangeable, toujours sèche et trop cuite. Le service était inexistant dans la plupart des cas. Le deuxième jour, nous avons attendu 45 minutes pour notre petit-déjeuner et avons finalement dû partir c [... lire plus]ar nous avions une partie de golf. La goutte d'eau qui a fait déborder le vase, c'est quand j'ai vu mon serveur se pencher par-dessus le comptoir de la cuisine et prendre tous les ingrédients de ma salade à mains nues, puis j'ai vu le cuisinier préparer la nourriture sans gants et sans se laver les mains – totalement inacceptable ! Nous avons déménagé dans un autre complexe après ça. Sunwing nous a remboursé les 4 nuits, mais nous avons perdu une journée de vacances à faire nos valises et à déménager.

Worst experience ever!! First time in my may may years of travel have I ever left a resort early. The noice from the pool and the construction/repairs was unbearable. Always being approached to buy spa packages from different employees. The food was terrible, always dry and overcooked. Service was non existent in many cases. Second day waited 45 minutes for our breakfast and finally had to leave as we were golfing. The final straw was when I watched my server reach over the kitchen counter and pick up all the ingredients for my salad with his bare hands and then watched the cook making the food ungloved and not washing hands- totally unacceptable! We moved to another resort after that. Sunwing did reimburse for the 4 nights, but did loose a day of vacation having to pack up and move.

VH Gran Ventana Beach Resort: Le moyen idéal pour se détendre

N'ayant jamais mis les pieds en République dominicaine auparavant, je ne pouvais comparer ce voyage qu'à mes séjours à Cuba et au Mexique. Au début, nous étions un peu inquiets car le complexe était petit, mais cela s'est rapidement révélé être l'un de ses principaux atouts. Il était tellement facile de se rendre où l'on voulait, quand bon nous semblait. La plage est à deux pas de la piscine, et les bars sont disséminés un peu partout dans le complexe, si bien qu'on n'est jamais loin d'un petit  [... lire plus]verre. Les boissons étaient excellentes, et le « Jackie’s Special » est devenu notre boisson préférée toute la semaine. J’ai entendu parler de l’« Ernesto Special » le dernier jour et apparemment, c’est incroyable, mais malheureusement, je ne l’ai jamais croisé pour en goûter un ! Le personnel semblait généralement sympathique et souriait toujours ou disait bonjour, même s’il peut y avoir une petite barrière de la langue si vous ne parlez pas espagnol. À plusieurs reprises, nous avons demandé quelque chose et ils ne nous comprenaient tout simplement pas (ou vice versa). Le complexe en lui-même était cependant très propre, avec du personnel constamment présent pour ramasser les verres et faire le ménage. La nourriture était excellente dans l’ensemble et nous n’avons jamais eu de mal à trouver de quoi manger. Au pire, le comptoir de pâtes du buffet nous a toujours sauvé la mise ? Nous avons essayé le restaurant italien à la carte et c’était correct, mais nous avons vraiment adoré l’Ocean Grill. La nourriture et le service y étaient incroyables et c’était sans aucun doute l’un des moments forts de notre voyage. La « guerre des chaises » autour de la piscine était pratiquement inexistante pendant notre séjour. Nous sommes des lève-tôt, donc nous prenions un café et nous nous installions au bord de la piscine vers 7 h du matin, alors que presque toutes les chaises étaient encore libres. Une chose à noter cependant : la sécurité passe régulièrement, donc si vous laissez quoi que ce soit sans surveillance, préparez-vous à le perdre. Nous n’avons pas passé beaucoup de temps à la plage car les chaises sont assez serrées les unes contre les autres et, bien qu’il y ait quelques endroits ombragés, ils partent vite. L'un des aspects les plus agréables du séjour a été la gentillesse des autres clients. Il était vraiment facile de se faire des amis et de discuter avec les gens tout au long de la semaine. Selon ce que vous recherchez, ce n'est pas vraiment un complexe hôtelier où l'on fait la fête la nuit (du moins pas pendant notre séjour). Les deux premières nuits étaient plus animées, mais dès la troisième nuit, la musique s'est arrêtée tôt car il n'y avait presque plus personne. Honnêtement, on se couche tôt de toute façon, donc ça nous convenait parfaitement ! On n’a pas opté pour la catégorie premium, donc notre chambre était un peu vieillotte, mais la climatisation fonctionnait très bien. On était au rez-de-chaussée, juste en face de la piscine, et on a adoré l’emplacement ; honnêtement, on ne changerait rien. On avait demandé à être près de nos amis et on était juste à côté ! Ma principale critique serait sans doute que le buffet (ou le complexe en général) ne dispose pas vraiment d’espaces communs climatisés. Manger dans cette chaleur humide était parfois difficile, et notre chambre était vraiment le seul endroit où l’on pouvait vraiment se rafraîchir. La météo de la semaine dernière était imbattable, même si c’était TRÈS chaud pour cette période de l’année. En fin de compte, la question la plus importante : est-ce qu’on y retournerait ? Absolument.

Perfect way to relax Having never been to the Dominican before, I only had Cuba and Mexico to compare this trip to. At first we were a bit worried the resort was small, but that quickly became one of the biggest pros. It was so easy to get anywhere you wanted whenever you felt like it. The beach is steps from the pool, and the bars are scattered throughout the resort so you’re never far from a quick beverage. The drinks were great, with Jackie’s Special becoming our go-to all week. I heard about the Ernesto Special on our last day and apparently it’s amazing, but unfortunately I never caught him to try one! The staff generally seemed friendly and always smiled or said good morning/hello, although there can definitely be a bit of a language barrier if you don’t speak Spanish. A few times we would ask for something and they just didn’t understand us (or vice versa). The resort itself was very clean though, with staff constantly around picking up cups and cleaning. Food was great overall and we never had any issues finding something to eat. Worst case scenario, the pasta station at the buffet always saved the day ? We tried the Italian à la carte and it was okay, but we absolutely loved the Ocean Grill. Both the food and the service were incredible and it was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. The “chair wars” around the pool were basically non-existent while we were there. We’re early risers, so we’d grab a coffee and sit by the pool around 7am with almost every chair still empty. One thing to note though: security does come around, so if you leave anything unattended, be prepared to lose it. We didn’t spend much time sitting at the beach because the chairs are pretty close together and while there are some shady spots, they go quickly. One of the nicest parts of the trip was how friendly the other guests were. It was really easy to make friends and chat with people throughout the week. Depending on what you’re looking for, this isn’t really a big nighttime party resort (at least not during our stay.) The first couple nights were busier, but by the third night the music was ending early because hardly anyone was there. Honestly, we go to bed early anyway, so it was perfectly fine with us! We didn’t upgrade to premium, so our room was a little outdated, but the air conditioning worked great. We were on the first floor right in front of the pool and loved the location; honestly wouldn’t change it. We had requested to be close to our friends and we were right next door! My biggest complaint would probably be that the buffet (or resort in general) doesn’t really have any common air-conditioned areas. Eating in the hot, humid air was tough sometimes, and our room was really the only place to fully cool off from the heat. The weather last week was unbeatable, although VERY hot for this time of year. At the end of the day, the most important question: would we return? Absolutely.

Secrets Playa Esmeralda Resort and Spa: Un complexe hôtelier exceptionnel

Nous avons vécu une expérience absolument incroyable au Secrets Playa Esmeralda, du début à la fin. Le complexe est magnifique, parfaitement entretenu, et la plage est vraiment à couper le souffle. Dès notre arrivée, le personnel nous a mis à l'aise, nous a permis de nous détendre et s'est occupé de nous avec beaucoup d'attention. La cuisine était excellente, avec un choix très varié, et tous les restaurants que nous avons testés étaient délicieux. Le service dans l'ensemble du complexe était e [... lire plus]xceptionnel : chaleureux, attentionné et sincère. Notre chambre était magnifique, propre et très confortable, ce qui nous a permis de nous détendre pleinement et de profiter pleinement de nos vacances. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié l'atmosphère relaxante, les animations et le fait que chaque détail semblait avoir été soigneusement pensé. Que ce soit à la piscine, à la plage, dans les restaurants ou au spa, tout a dépassé nos attentes. Étant donné qu'il s'agit d'un tout nouveau complexe hôtelier qui vient d'ouvrir en août 2025, nous n'avons constaté aucun manque d'expérience. Tout le monde était professionnel, aimable, enthousiaste, serviable et extrêmement sympathique. Ce fut l'un de nos meilleurs séjours, et nous y retournerions sans hésiter. Nous recommandons vivement Secrets Playa Esmeralda à tous ceux qui recherchent une escapade luxueuse, relaxante et mémorable en République dominicaine !

Amazing Resort We had an absolutely amazing experience at Secrets Playa Esmeralda from beginning to end. The resort is stunning, beautifully maintained, and the beach is truly breathtaking. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcomed, relaxed, and completely taken care of. The food was excellent with so many great options, and every restaurant we tried was delicious. The service throughout the resort was exceptional — friendly, attentive, and genuine. Our room was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable, making it easy to fully unwind and enjoy the vacation. We especially loved the relaxing atmosphere, the entertainment, and how every detail seemed thoughtfully planned. Whether at the pool, beach, restaurants, or spa, everything exceeded our expectations. Considering this is a new resort just opened August 2025 we did not experience any inexperience. Everybody was professional, friendly, enthusiastic, helpful, and super friendly. This was one of the best vacations we’ve had, and we would absolutely return. Highly recommend Secrets Playa Esmeralda to anyone looking for a luxurious, relaxing, and memorable getaway in the Dominican Republic!

VH Gran Ventana Beach Resort: Notre séjour

Nous avons passé un séjour formidable, tout le personnel était formidable. Les chambres étaient propres et le service excellent. La plage était superbe ; la seule chose qui nous a déplu, ce sont les vendeurs ambulants sur la plage alors qu'on essayait de se reposer. C'était notre deuxième séjour et nous avons trouvé que les « zéros » étaient bien mieux cette année. Merci

El Beso Adults Only at Ocean El Faro: Un complexe hôtelier exceptionnel

Ce complexe hôtelier était spectaculaire. L'expérience, de l'arrivée au départ, a été parfaite. Les espaces extérieurs étaient impeccables et entretenus quotidiennement. Tout était si propre et bien entretenu. Les chambres étaient dignes d'un 5 étoiles, avec un coin salon. Nous étions au rez-de-chaussée avec vue sur la piscine. Le personnel venait tous les jours pour nettoyer, refaire les lits et réapprovisionner le réfrigérateur. C'était vraiment merveilleux. Il y avait deux buffets pour le pet [... lire plus]it-déjeuner : un pour les familles, l'Ocean El Faro, et un pour les adultes, l'El Beso. Nous sommes allés au buffet familial le premier jour de notre séjour et il y avait beaucoup de monde, avec des enfants et des familles. Nous sommes ensuite allés à celui réservé aux adultes. Celui pour les familles était correct, avec beaucoup de choix et une cuisine fantastique. Le petit-déjeuner pour adultes était beaucoup plus calme et la cuisine était fantastique, avec vue sur la plage. C'était vraiment charmant. Le complexe disposait de nombreuses navettes pour vous transporter partout dans le complexe. Cela nous a beaucoup aidées, ma sœur et moi, car nous ne pouvons plus très bien marcher. D'après ce que j'ai pu voir, l'El Faro disposait de nombreux parcs aquatiques pour que les enfants puissent s'amuser. L'El Beso avait deux immenses piscines réservées aux adultes. C'était tellement relaxant. Elles étaient toutes éloignées les unes des autres, donc on n'entendait pas les enfants. C'était génial. La plage avait l'air magnifique, mais comme nous ne pouvons pas marcher très bien, nous n'y sommes pas allées du tout. C'était toutefois agréable de voir et d'entendre les vagues. Il y a de nombreux restaurants parmi lesquels choisir, et ils étaient tous fantastiques. Il y avait un bar sportif où nous avons regardé deux matchs des Canadiens. C'était génial qu'ils aient deux énormes téléviseurs pour diffuser les matchs. Ce sont parmi les vacances les plus agréables que j'ai passées. Nous planifions déjà notre prochain voyage. Je recommanderais n'importe lequel de ces hôtels, qu'il soit réservé aux adultes ou aux familles. Je n'ai absolument rien à redire sur ces vacances.

Amazing resort This resort was spectacular. The experience from checking in to checking out as perfect. The grounds were so impeccable and they worked on them daily. So clean and well kept. The rooms were 5 star with a living room suite. We were on the ground floor with a pool view. The staff came daily and cleaned & made up, replenished the fridge. So wonderful. There were 2 buffets for breakfast, 1 for families which was Ocean El Faro and 1 for adults which was El Beso. We went to the family one the first day we were there and it was busier with children & families. We then went to the adult on from then on. The family one was ok, lots of choices and the food was fantastic. The adult breakfast was a lot quieter & the food was fantastic with a beach view. So so lovely. The resort had many trolley's to bring you all around the resort. It saved me & my sister a lot as we are both not able to walk so great any more. As far as I could tell, the El Faro had many water parks for the kids to play at. The El Beso had 2 huge pools for adults only. Was so relaxing. They were all far away from each other, so not to hear the kids. Was great. The beach area looked lovely, but again not being able to walk so great, we did not go on the beach at all. Was lovely to see and hear the waves though. There are many restaurants to pick from which were all fantastic. There was a sports bar that we watched 2 Habs games at. Was great that they had 2 huge TV's showing the games. One of the most enjoyable vacations I have had. We are already planning our next trip. I would recomend either hotel Adult or Family to anyone. I have no complaints at all about this vacation.

Royalton Splash Punta Cana: Des activités pour toute la famille

On s'est bien amusés au parc aquatique et aux piscines. La plage était magnifique. On n'a pu aller que dans un seul restaurant à la carte, car ils étaient toujours complets, et celui où on a pu aller n'était pas terrible, la nourriture était horrible. Les plats du buffet semblaient être les mêmes tous les jours, donc on s'en est vite lassés. Le personnel était compétent, serviable et sympathique. Family fun Lots of fun in the water park and pools. The beach was beautiful. We could only get into one À la carte restaurant as they were always booked, and the one we got into was not good, food was horrible. The food at the buffet seemed to be the same every day, so it got old, fast. The staff were good, helpful and friendly. Beautiful resort, sunny and hot the whole time, which was great! We all enjoyed ourselves except for the 2 days that my wife and I got sick

C'était notre deuxième séjour au Secrets Tides. Cette fois-ci, nous avons séjourné dans la section « Preferred », mais le service est excellent quelle que soit la section choisie. C'était agréable de bénéficier d'équipements haut de gamme. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié les salons Privilege, le petit-déjeuner à la carte et la proximité de l'océan. La cuisine et le service dans les restaurants étaient exceptionnels. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le Patio et le Meriaki. Fantastic holiday at Secrets Tides! This was our second trip to Secrets Tides. We stayed in Preferred this time but the service is excellent no matter which section you stay in. It was nice to have the upgraded amenities. We particularly enjoyed the Privilege Lounges and the ala carte breakfast and being close to the ocean. The food and service at the restaurants was exceptional. We especially enjoyed the Patio and Meriaki. Staff are awesome, shout out to Jonathan our Butler who was always at our service and Juliana at the Privilege lounge.

VH Gran Ventana Beach Resort: Une superbe station balnéaire

C'était un superbe complexe hôtelier. La plage était géniale, tout comme la piscine. Il n'y a eu que quelques jours à la plage où il était difficile de trouver une chaise longue. Les zones ombragées étaient rares, tant à la plage qu'à la piscine. L'hôtel et les espaces verts du complexe étaient très bien entretenus. Si vous appréciez le calme la nuit, évitez de prendre une chambre donnant sur la piscine ou proche du bar aquatique. Les gens restaient debout après minuit à crier et à hurler. Les c [... lire plus]hambres auraient bien besoin d'une commode, car il n'y avait pas beaucoup d'espace pour ranger ses vêtements. La nourriture au buffet et dans les restaurants était plutôt bonne. Le personnel était formidable. Dans l'ensemble, j'y retournerais sans hésiter.

A great resort This was a great resort. The Beach was great, the pool was great as well. There were only a couple days at the beach where it was hard to find a chair. Limited shade available both at the beach and the pool. The hotel and resort grounds were very well kept. If you like quiet at night don't get a room that faces the pool or close to the swim up bar. People were up past midnight yelling and hollering. The rooms could use a dresser as there was not much to put your clothes away in. The food at the buffet and the restaurants were pretty good. The staff were an great. All in all I would definitely go back.

Grand Sirenis Punta Cana Resort: Un complexe hôtelier correct

C'était le plus grand complexe hôtelier où je sois jamais allé, mais je suppose que j'en attendais tout simplement davantage. Les algues s'accumulaient sur la plage et ils ne la nettoyaient pas, à part la petite zone devant la section « Executive ». Les autres complexes hôteliers de cette partie de la côte disposaient de tracteurs pour nettoyer les plages. Il y avait aussi une multitude de mégots de cigarette dans le sable. Je n'ai pas apprécié que les agents de voyage restent tout le temps près [... lire plus] de la piscine pour essayer de vendre des excursions (ne me harcelez pas quand je suis en vacances). Nous avons fait quelques réservations à la carte, mais je n'ai pas aimé la cuisine italienne : mes pâtes ressemblaient à de la soupe, il n'y avait que de la sauce et j'ai dû chercher mes pâtes. Nous avons gardé le restaurant de steaks pour la fin et avons été extrêmement déçus. Une heure et demie d’attente (les gens partaient) pour que notre repas arrive, et là encore, ce n’était pas très bon. La salle de jeux Galaxy était fermée tout le temps. Attention : si vous arrivez avant 15 h, ils vous facturent 40 $ pour un enregistrement anticipé, ce qui ne vous donne que le bracelet pour pouvoir entrer dans le complexe. Si vous refusez de payer les 40 $, on vous dit que vous pouvez attendre à l’extérieur du complexe.

Decent resort This was the biggest resort i have ever been to, saying that i guess i just expected more from it. The seaweed was rolling in and they did not clean the beach only the small area in front of the executive section. Other resorts along this stretch had tractors that cleaned the beaches. There was a ton of cigarette butts in the sand as well. I didnt like the tour operators were at the pool the entire time trying to sell excursions (dont hassel me while im on vacation) we did some a la cart reservations was not a fan of the italian my pasta was like eating a soup it was all sauce i had to search for my pasta. We saved the steak place for last and was extremely dissapointed. And hour and a half wait (people were leaving ) for our food to arrive, and again was not very good. The game galaxy was closed the entire time. Be warned if you check in before 3pm they charge you a $40 fee for early check-in , that only gives you the bracelet so that you are allowed into the resort. If you refuse to pay the $40 usd you are told that you can wait outside the resort.

Dreams Onyx Resort and Spa: Encore un séjour INCROYABLE

Encore une semaine incroyable au Dreams Onyx. Ce complexe se démarque vraiment des autres : tout est parfaitement organisé, des plus grands détails aux plus petits. Le personnel et le service sont exceptionnels. J’ai particulièrement apprécié Kaira, la responsable du programme « Preferred », et Jelissa, au bar du hall, qui ont vraiment marqué mes vacances. N’oubliez pas d’aller les voir lors de votre séjour ! Le meilleur restaurant est le restaurant français, et le camion à tacos est également u [... lire plus]n incontournable ! Les toboggans aquatiques sont tout aussi palpitants pour les adultes. J'ai adoré la rivière lente, mais la plage est MAGNIFIQUE. Superbe complexe familial, et si vous voulez faire la fête, vous pouvez vous rendre au complexe jumeau adjacent : il se trouve à deux pas, ou bien ils vous y conduiront !

Another AMAZING stay Another amazing week at Dreams Onyx. This resort out stands the rest of them, they are so organized from the big details to the small ones. The staff and service are top notch. Preferred Manager Kaira and Jelissa in the lobby bar made a special inpact in my vacation. Make sure to see them on yours! Best restaurant is the French restaurant, the taco truck is also a must! The water slides are thrilling for adults as well. Loved the lazy river, but the beach is GORGEOUS. Great family resort , and if you want a good party you can go over to the attached sister resort, it’s a two second walk or they will drive you!
