Fantastique !

Le personnel est formidable, la nourriture est excellente et l'expérience est tout simplement géniale. J'ai suggéré l'hôtel à de nombreux amis ! La liste des boissons était excellente, mais j'aimerais qu'il y ait plus de variété en ce qui concerne les bières. Beaucoup de bonnes choses à dire sur Blue Bay.

Fantastic! Great staff, amazing food, and all around amazing experience. I have suggested the resort to many friends! The drink list was great, would like to see more variety in regards to beers. Many good things to say about Blue Bay.

Merveilleuse lune de miel.

Nous avons adoré la plage et le terrain. Nous avions une chambre normale et elle était très agréable. La nourriture était excellente et très variée. Le personnel était accessible et aimable. Notre seule plainte concerne le personnel de Circle One (club de vacances/temps partagé). Ils ont pris deux heures de notre temps de vacances pour essayer de nous forcer à acheter une multipropriété avec eux, ce qui n'a pas du tout été apprécié. Cela n'a pas été apprécié du tout.

Wonderful Honeymoon. Loved the beach and the grounds. We had a regular room, and it was very nice. The food was amazing, with lots of variety. Staff were approachable and kind. Our only complaint is the Circle One staff (vacation club/timeshare). They took 2 hours of our vacation time to try and force us into buying a time share with them. This was not appreciated in the least.

Un grand moment dans l'ensemble !

L'hôtel était beau, propre et parfait pour une escapade relaxante entre adultes ! La nourriture est très bonne, la plage est magnifique mais on aurait pu se passer des pirranas (vendeurs). Le service du personnel était excellent et opportun en cas de besoin. Je reviendrais certainement pour une escapade entre filles ou une retraite en couple !

Great time overall!! The hotel was nice, clean and perfect for relaxing adult getaway! Food very good, beach beautiful but cod of done without all pirranas (venders). Staff service great and timely when needed. Would return for sure for girls getaway or couple retreat!

Station accueillante et confortable

Dans l'ensemble, notre expérience et notre séjour dans le complexe ont été agréables, même si l'arrivée a été assez inhabituelle. Nous avons été regroupés sur le côté du hall d'entrée au lieu de l'enregistrement habituel au comptoir. Cela aurait pu être fait plus efficacement. Le personnel est sympathique et toujours souriant. Merci à Nilson, Manuel, Lisbeth, Adizario au buffet pour leurs services et leurs sourires accueillants. La nourriture était un peu répétitive et donc moins excitante. La  [... lire plus]zone des pâtes était ma préférée car elles étaient préparées devant vous, donc chaudes et savoureuses. La nourriture était bonne mais le choix était limité. Notre chambre était confortable et propre et heureusement que la climatisation fonctionne et qu'il n'y a pas d'eau bouchée dans la salle de bain. Les chaînes de télévision comprenaient la BBC et HLN pour nous tenir au courant tout au long de l'année, vous voyez que nous sommes accros à l'actualité. La plage et la piscine sont bien entretenues mais on peut voir des gobelets en plastique sur la plage à cause du vent fort de l'après-midi qui les emporte facilement lorsqu'ils sont vides😉 La salle de sport qui a été utilisée fréquemment fonctionnait bien avec un équipement de base, un tapis roulant, des escaliers et un vélo d'appartement. En ce qui concerne la sécurité, comme partout ailleurs, il faut être prudent et ne pas s'aventurer si l'on n'est pas familier et si l'on ne parle pas la langue. Nous nous sommes fait remarquer car nous avions le mot "touriste" écrit sur notre front en raison de notre appartenance à un groupe minoritaire. Il y a des divertissements nocturnes et un avis est affiché sur le tableau concernant les programmes prévus tout au long de la journée. Nous avons joué au volley-ball, ou plutôt ramassé le ballon la plupart du temps, mais nous nous sommes bien amusés. Il y avait des vendeurs sur la plage qui vendaient des souvenirs et proposaient des massages. Nous avons été approchés à plusieurs reprises et nous n'avons cessé de dire non merci. Nous avons fait une excursion d'une demi-journée dans la ville, qui comprenait un trajet en téléphérique jusqu'au jardin botanique, à la bijouterie, à la fabrique de rhum et de cigares et à la zone piétonne. Dans l'ensemble, nous avons passé un excellent moment et sommes rentrés à la maison totalement détendus. Malheureusement, ce sentiment a disparu au bout de quelques jours. Nous sommes revenus dans le monde réel avec des souvenirs impérissables. Nous remercions tout particulièrement "Harry Potter", notre représentant central, qui s'est occupé de nous.

Friendly and cozy resort Our overall experience and stay at the resort was pleasant though the arrival was pretty unusual. We were herded to the side of the lobby instead of the usual check in at the counter. This could have been done more efficiently instead. The staff members are friendly and always smiling. Our thanks to Nilson, Manuel, Lisbeth, Adizario at the buffet area for their services and their welcoming smiles. Food wise a little repetitive so it was not as exciting. The pasta area was my favourite as it was prepared in front of you so it was hot and nice and tasty too. The food was good but the selection was limited. Our room was comfortable and clean and thank goodness the AC works and no water clogged in our bathroom. TV channels included BBC and HLN to keep us updated throughout , you see we are news addict. Beach and pool area are well maintained however you see plastic cups on the beach due to strong afternoon wind which blew them away easily when its empty😉 The gym area which was used frequently was functioning well basic equipment treadmill stair master and a stationary bike. Safety wise like anywhere else, have to be careful and not wonder off unless you are familiar and speak the language. We definitely stood out as we have the word tourist written on our forehead being the minority group. They have nightly entertainment and a notice is put up on the board on the programs scheduled through out the day. Played volleyball or rather picking up the ball most of the time but we had fun. There were beach vendors walking to sell souvenirs and offering massages. We were approached many times and kept saying no thank you and after a few days they almost stopped coming. We did a half day City Tour excursion which included a cable car ride to the botanical garden, jewelry, rum, cigar factory and down area. Overall we had a great time and returned home totally relax. Unfortunately that was gone after a few days. Back to the real world however with lasting memories. Special thanks to 'Harry Potter' our trip central rep who took care of us.

Un lieu de villégiature amusant et optimiste

Je pensais que le complexe était plus ancien et qu'il essayait d'être bien entretenu. Cependant, je n'ai pas trouvé les piscines ou les chambres très propres. Le personnel était très amusant et optimiste ! Ils vous font sentir les bienvenus et s'amusent avec vous. Le personnel était très serviable et accueillant. La nourriture était correcte mais rien de spécial. Dans l'ensemble, le personnel a fait de cette expérience une expérience formidable !

Fun upbeat resort I thought the resort was older and was tried to be well maintained. However I did not find the pools or rooms very clean. The staff was very fun & upbeat! They made you feel welcome and also had fun with you. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. The food was ok but nothing special. Overall the staff made the experience such a great one!

Nice Resort

L'hôtel était agréable et propre. La nourriture était assez bonne. Le personnel d'animation a été le meilleur moment du voyage. Il y avait constamment des activités à faire. La plage et la piscine étaient très agréables et c'est là que nous avons passé tout notre temps.

Resort was nice and clean. Food was pretty good. Entertainment staff were the best part of the trip. There were activities to participate in constantly. Beach and pool were very nice and where we spent all of our time.

Un centre de villégiature exceptionnel

Ce fut l'un de mes meilleurs séjours à Puerto Plata, l'hôtel était très propre, le personnel de nettoyage était formidable, toujours là pour aider.Le terrain était magnifiquement entretenu.Tout le monde était très agréable.J'ai remarqué cette fois que lorsque j'étais à la plage, les vendeurs ne vous dérangeaient pas autant.La nourriture était incroyable, la meilleure sopa que j'ai jamais mangée.J'ai aimé qu'ils offrent un spa et une salle d'exercice juste à côté de la piscine.Trois piscines, ce  [... lire plus]qui était génial, pas trop encombré.Je vais y retourner en août et je vais certainement y séjourner.

Amazing resort This was one of my best stays in Puerto Plata,the hotel was very clean,cleaning staff where so amazing always there to help.The grounds where beautifully kept up.Every one was very pleasant.I noticed this time that when at the beach the vendors didn't bother you as much very friendly.The food was amazing the best sopa l have had yet.l like that they offered a spa and excersise room right att he pool.Three pools which was great not to crowded.l am going back in August and will deffinetly be staying there.

Génial

Je vais dans ce complexe depuis 2000. J'aime le fait que ce soit un complexe réservé aux adultes, les chambres ont été refaites et elles sont magnifiques. Les lits sont très confortables, les animations nocturnes sont très bonnes. Les gens et le personnel sont très sympathiques, la nourriture n'était pas très bonne cette fois-ci et nous n'avions pas de mini-frigo qui fonctionnait pendant toute la durée de notre séjour, mais j'y retournerais et je recommanderais ce complexe à tous ceux qui me le  [... lire plus]demanderaient.Nous avons séjourné dans la chambre 2103, agréable et proche de tout, mais bien sûr vous entendez les spectacles le soir car vous êtes proche de l'espace scénique.ce complexe n'est qu'à 15 minutes de l'aéroport.

Awesome I have been going to this resort since 2000. I love the fact that it's an adults only resort, rooms have been redone and they are beautiful. Beds are very comfortable, entertainment at night time is very good. People and staff are very friendly, food was not that good this time and also we didn't have a mini fridge that worked the whole time we where there,, but I would go back there and also would recommend this resort to anybody that asked.we stayed in room 2103 , nice and close to everything but of course you hear the shows at night as you are close to the stage area.also this resort is only about 15 mins from the airport.

Excellantl Resort

Tout ce qui concerne le Blue Bay est formidable. La nourriture, y compris la variété, la plage, les piscines, les terrains et le service sont sans égal. Le personnel était très sympathique, les barmans savaient ce qu'ils faisaient et les boissons étaient préparées correctement. Le service de ménage a gardé la chambre impeccable et ils étaient très sympathiques. Les divertissements étaient très bons. Je n'ai rien à redire sur ce centre de villégiature. Je suis resté une semaine, mais j'y retourne [... lire plus]rai pour au moins 10 jours. Merci à Blue Bay pour ces excellentes vacances.

Everything about the Blue Bay is great. The food, including variety, the beach, swimming pools, grounds, and the service was second to none. Staff were very friendly, bartenders knew what they were doing as the drinks were made properly. Maid service kept the room spotless and they were very friendly. Entertainment was very good. No complaints about this resort whatsoever. Stayed a week, but am going back for at least 10 days. Thank you Blue Bay for a great vacation.

NE REVIENDRAIT PAS

Ma chambre a été inondée par 10 cm d'eau, j'ai dû déménager le lendemain après y avoir passé 8 jours sur 10. Le personnel a rendu notre séjour agréable (sauf le comptoir de la réception), ils étaient 32 dans notre groupe. Je ne recommanderais pas ce complexe à mes clients à l'avenir.

WOULDN'T RETURN My room room flooded with 4 inches of water, had to move the next day after being there 8 days out of my 10. The staff made our stay (except reception counter), they're were 32 in our group. I wouldn't recoomand this resort to clients going forward.

Bon centre de villégiature

tout était bien dans ce centre de villégiature. Nous avons passé un bon moment. Le personnel était très bien, toujours heureux et en bonne communication. La nourriture était bonne. Les piscines et les terrains étaient très bien entretenus.Bien situé par rapport à l'aéroport qui se trouve à 20 minutes.Petit complexe agréable avec toutes les commodités autour de vous.Mon seul bémol est qu'il n'y avait pas de boissons internationales, comme le seigle canadien ou le baileys. good resort everything was good at this resort. We had a good time The staff were all very good and always happy and good comunication. The food was good. The pools and grounds were very well maintained.Good location from airport 20 minutes away.Nice small resort with all the ammenties around you.My only beef was there was no international drinks, like canadian rye or baileys. Would recommend this place and also go back.

Grand centre de villégiature

Il est facile de se déplacer dans l'hôtel. Les chambres sont très agréables. Le terrain était très bien entretenu. La seule chose que j'aurais souhaitée, c'est qu'il y ait des boissons internationales. Le personnel de l'hôtel était très sympathique et parlait très bien l'anglais.

great resort The resort was easy to get around. Rooms were really nice. Grounds were very well maintained. The only thing I wished they had were international drinks. Staff at this resort were very friendly and spoke english very well.

Excellent service

Nous avons adoré notre séjour au Blue Bay. Les chambres sont assez basiques mais le service était hors du commun. Un grand merci à mon serveur de bar préféré, Gabriel Diaz ! Il nous a si bien traités et c'est la seule raison pour laquelle nous retournerions au Blue Bay.

Great service Loved our stay at blue bay. The rooms are pretty basic but the service was out of this world. Shout out to my favorite bar tender Gabriel Diaz! He treated us so well and would be the sole reason we would go back to blue bay.

Excellent centre de villégiature.

c'est la deuxième fois que je viens dans ce complexe et j'ai l'intention d'y retourner. les chambres sont propres la piscine et le bar sont très bien entretenus et le service est très bon et amical. les divertissements étaient incroyables et les spectacles de feu et de piscine sont très divertissants. la plage et le bar de la plage sont propres et amicaux. la nourriture est très bonne à tous les niveaux, du buffet au déjeuner au bar de la plage en passant par les steaks et les dîners chinois...  [... lire plus]mais je dois dire que les jeux amusants et les animateurs nous font sentir comme une famille et les rires et l'amusement ne s'arrêtent jamais... chapeau au Blue Resort et à tous ceux qui y travaillent pour que les voyageurs soient heureux et s'amusent... j'ai hâte d'y retourner.

excellent resort. this has been the second time I have been to this resort and plan on going back again. rooms are clean pool and swim up bar are very well taken care of as well as very good and friendly service. entertainment was amazing and the fire and pool shows are very entertaining. beach and beach bar are clean and freindly. the food is very good on all levels from buffet to lunch at the beach bar to the steaks house and Chinese dinners..but I have to say that the fun games and entertainers make u feel like family and none stop laughs and fun..hats off to the blue resort and everyone you works there to make travelers happy and having fun...can't wait to go back.

Bon hôtel ! Service sympathique !

la chambre d'hôtel était propre. Les toilettes se sont bouchées plusieurs fois. Personnel sympathique. La plage était très bien sauf pour les vendeurs constants qui vendaient leurs marchandises. La nourriture était bonne. nous avons fait 3 excursions achetées à des vendeurs sur la plage et nous n'avons eu aucun problème. il faisait très chaud.

Good hotel! Friendly service! hotel room was clean. Toilet clogged a few times. Friendly staff. Beach was great except for constant vendors selling their wares. Food was good. went on 3 excursions bought from vendor on beach & had no difficulties. weather was super-very hot.

Agréable et relaxant

Dans l'ensemble, la propriété était correcte. Les points positifs étaient la piscine avec spa, les hamacs, la plage décente, la nourriture était correcte. Les inconvénients : le bar du hall d'entrée n'est pas gratuit, une seule clé de chambre est autorisée, les vendeurs constants sur la plage, pas de WiFi gratuit (pratique pour rester en contact avec les enfants). Nous avons rencontré des gens formidables, ce qui a rendu le séjour plus agréable.

Nice and relaxing The property overall was ok. Upsides were the spa pool area, hammocks, decent beach, the food was ok. Downsides lobby bar not free, only one room key allowed, the constant vendors on the beach, no free WiFi (convenient for staying in touch with kids). We did meet some great people and that made it more enjoyable.

Exécution

Le personnel est sympathique, très bon et énergique. MAIS, cet établissement a besoin d'une rénovation complète. La base des douches est fissurée, le toit fuit en cas de pluie, le carrelage autour des piscines est ébréché et cassé. La liste est longue. La nourriture est correcte. Les hôtels Blue Bay devraient avoir honte.

Run down The staff are friendly,very good and energetic. BUT. This place needs a complete renovation. Cracked shower base, leaking roof during rain, chipped and broken tile around pools. The list goes on. Food is ok. Blue Bay hotels should be embarrassed.

Complexe touristique exceptionnel

La nourriture au buffet et au restaurant à la carte était très bonne. Il y avait beaucoup de choix et nous n'avons jamais eu faim à aucun moment de la journée. Les chambres étaient propres et des serviettes fraîches étaient fournies chaque jour. Les serviettes de plage aussi. Le terrain de l'hôtel était bien entretenu et le personnel avait toujours un sourire amical.

Amazing Resort The food at the buffet and the a la carte restaurant was very good. Lots of choices and we were never hungry at anytime of the day. The rooms were clean and fresh towel suppled each day. Beach towels too. The grounds of the resort were well maintained and staff always had friendly smiles.

Excellentes vacances

C'est la première fois que nous venons dans ce complexe et nous avons apprécié tous les aspects - divertissement, plage, nourriture. Le seul problème est qu'à l'arrivée, notre chambre n'était pas comme prévu. Je n'ai jamais vu de chambre caribéenne sans balcon et je ne comprends pas pourquoi ce type de chambre "standard" devrait même exister. Nous avons réglé le problème le lendemain à notre satisfaction avec l'aide du représentant de Sunquest, Alvelso. Après cela, c'était génial sans arrêt. La  [... lire plus]nourriture est excellente et variée. Notre test décisif était d'imaginer comment notre future belle-fille végétarienne se débrouillerait au buffet. Il y a une grande variété pour un végétarien. Nous avons trouvé le personnel de service professionnel et, bien qu'ils acceptent les pourboires, ils ne semblaient pas les attendre. Dans un cas, ils semblaient presque indifférents. La plage était nettoyée régulièrement et propre, même si l'océan était agité les jours où nous y étions. Il y a des marchands de plage, mais une fois qu'ils ont été repoussés, ils ne continuent généralement pas à les importuner. Il y a aussi les vendeurs de multipropriété qui essaient de vous impliquer dans la stratégie de vente. Faites preuve de la même prudence que pour n'importe quel vendeur à domicile. Je recommanderais sans hésiter cet endroit à mes amis et nous avons bien l'intention d'y retourner en janvier prochain.

Excellent vacation First time at this resort and we enjoyed every aspect - entertainment, beach, food. The only glitch was upon arrival our room was not as expected. I have never seen a Caribbean room without a balcony and cannot understand why that kind of "standard" room should even exist. We got it sorted out the next day to our satisfaction with the help of the Sunquest rep Alvelso. After that it was nonstop awesome. The food is excellent and varied. Our litmus test was to imagine how our vegetarian future daughter-in-law would fare at the buffet. Ample variety for a vegetarian. We found the wait staff professional and though they accepted tips, they didn't appear to be expecting them.. In one case, they almost seemed indifferent. The beach was groomed regularly and clean even with a rough ocean during the days we were there. There are beach merchants but once turned away, they did not usually continue to pester. There are also the time share people who will try to get you involved with the sales strategy. Use the same caution you would use for any door-to-door salesman. I would definitely recommend to friends and we fully intend to return next January.

Un voyage extraordinaire

Les terrains étaient parfaitement espacés. La nourriture était bonne, mais j'aurais aimé qu'il y ait plus de bacon au petit déjeuner... Le personnel était très amical et ne passait jamais sans dire bonjour. L'équipe d'animation a fait un travail remarquable.

Amazing trip The grounds were spaced out perfectly. The food was good, wish they had served more bacon at breakfast...The staff were very friendly and never passed without saying hello. The entertainment crew did an amazing job.
