RIU, c'est génial !

Le RIU Republica était un excellent complexe hôtelier. Superbe hôtel, beaucoup d'endroits pour se retrouver, manger et se détendre. Le personnel était excellent, attentif et nous traitait très bien. Il se souvenait de nous depuis la veille. Toujours joyeux et amical. Le complexe lui-même est grand et dispose de lieux de divertissement de chaque côté du complexe, ce qui était amusant, divertissant et un bon moment. La nourriture était bonne, très variée pour les dîners, et le buffet était toujours délicieux. Le poulet jerk sur la plage était tellement bon ! Notre chambre était très bien. Propre et confortable. Je n'ai rien à redire. C'est le deuxième hôtel RIU où je vais. Les complexes RIU sont les meilleurs que j'aie vus pour la propreté, le personnel formidable, la nourriture, les divertissements et l'atmosphère détendue. Le RIU Republica est un complexe réservé aux adultes, c'était une nouvelle expérience agréable. C'était génial d'aller jouer au parc aquatique sans avoir à faire la queue devant un tas d'enfants...haha.... C'était moi l'enfant ! C'est vraiment un bon endroit pour passer des vacances.

RIU rocks! RIU Republica was a great resort to go to. Great hotel, many places to hangout, eat and lounge at. The staff were excellent, attentive and treated us very well. Remembering us from the previous day. Always cheery and friendly. The resort itself is big, and has venues on each side of the resort, that was fun, entertaining and a good time. The beach was wonderful, soft powder-like sand and a great site to see. The food was good, much variety for dinners, and the buffet was always delicious. The jerk chicken on the beach was soooo good! Our room was great. Clean and comfy. I don't have any complaints. This is the 2nd RIU I have been to. RIU resorts are the best that I have been to for cleanliness, awesome staff, food, entertainment and a relaxed atmosphere. RIU Republica is an adult only resort, it was a nice new experience. It was awesome to go and play at the waterpark without having to butt in line in front of a bunch of kids..haha.. I was the kid! Definitely a good spot to vacation.

Complexe touristique exceptionnel

Le centre de villégiature était magnifique ! La nourriture était excellente et le service superbe. Toutes les piscines étaient propres et pas trop fréquentées. Tout était à proximité. Nous y sommes allés en janvier 2019. Je recommande sans hésiter ce centre de villégiature. Beaucoup de divertissements la nuit et la journée.

Amazing Resort The resort was beautiful! The food was great and the service was superb. All the pools were clean and not too busy. Everything was close by. We went in Jan 2019. Defiantly recommend this resort. Lots of entertainment at night and in the day.

Un bon moment au Riu Republica

Nous y avons passé des moments extraordinaires. Vous trouverez tout ce dont vous avez besoin. Vous voulez faire la fête ? C'est possible ! Vous voulez être tranquille ? C'est possible ! L'animation est très bonne ! La nourriture est également bonne. C'est très propre. Nous voulons y retourner à coup sûr !!!

Good time at the Riu Republica Amazing time there. You will find everything you need. Want to party? You can! Want to be quiet? You can! The animation is very good! The food is also good. It is very clean. We wNt to go back for sure!!!

Superbe station pour adultes

L'hôtel était agréable, les chambres propres. La seule chose que je n'ai pas aimée, c'est que la femme de ménage n'a pas nettoyé notre chambre régulièrement et quand nous le lui avons rappelé, elle ne l'a toujours pas fait. De plus, j'ai trouvé la nourriture fade.

Great resort for adults The hotel was nice, clean rooms. The only thing I did not like is the housekeeper did not clean our room regularly and when we did remind them they still did not do it. Also I found the food to be bland.

Superbe lieu de vacances

Nous avons séjourné au Riu à Punta Cana et le complexe était génial. Tous les équipements ont dépassé nos attentes. Les piscines étaient superbes et le fait de pouvoir traîner sur la plage et nager dans l'océan était une expérience incroyable. Les gens n'exagèrent pas lorsqu'ils parlent de la beauté des plages de Punta Cana. Le personnel de la station était également formidable, y compris pour les petites choses comme apporter des plateaux de boissons aux personnes qui attendaient sur la plage a [... lire plus]fin que nous n'ayons pas besoin de retourner constamment dans la station pour nous servir nous-mêmes. Je dirais que l'un des principaux points forts du voyage a été le divertissement nocturne à l'hôtel. Je n'avais jamais fait une priorité de rester pour les divertissements dans un complexe hôtelier auparavant. Au Riu, nous avons gardé nos places à l'avant tous les soirs.

Awesome Vacation Place We stayed at the Riu in Punta Cana and the resort was awesome. All the amenities exceeded expectation. The pools were great and being able to hang out on the beach and swim in the ocean was an incredible experience. People are not exaggerating when they talk about how beautiful the beaches are in Punta Cana. The resort staff were awesome as well, including doing the little things like bringing trays of drinks around to the people waiting on the beach so that we didn't need to keep going back into the resort to serve ourselves all the time. I would say the one of the main highlights of the trip was the nightly entertainment at the hotel. I have never made it a priority to stick around for the entertainment at a resort before. At the Riu we saved our seats up front every night.

Excellent !

C'était un grand complexe très propre. Il y en avait pour tous les goûts. Que vous soyez jeune ou vieux, il y avait des piscines pour faire la fête et d'autres plus calmes. La plage était très belle mais des drapeaux rouges et jaunes indiquaient que l'eau/les vagues étaient agitées et qu'il n'était pas prudent de se baigner. Nous sommes plus des gens de piscine, donc cela n'a pas eu d'importance pour nous. Beaucoup de bonne nourriture, des boissons avec ou sans alcool et des capachinos impressio [... lire plus]nnants l. Le personnel était toujours poli. Rappelons qu'il en coûte 20 $ US par personne pour quitter la République dominicaine !

Great! It was a very clean and large resort. There was something for everyone. Whether your young or old there was the party pools and also the quieter pools. The beach was very nice but red and yellow flags which indicated the water/waves were rough and not so safe to swim. We’re more pool people so that did not matter to us. Lots of good food, drinks both alcohol or non and awesome capachinos l. Staff were always polite. Reminder it’s $20 US per person to leave the Dominican!

Un centre de villégiature extraordinaire !

Propreté et beauté des lieux. Nourriture et service extraordinaires. Les chariots à la carte étaient l'un des meilleurs que nous ayons eus. La plage était magnifique. L'organisation des piscines était agréable, avec une variété de piscines animées et tranquilles, et les gens sont si gentils. Il ne s'est pas passé un jour sans que nous soyons impressionnés par le Riu Republica !

Amazing resort! Clean and beautiful grounds. Amazing food and service. A la carts were one of the best we've had. Beach was beautiful. Pool set up was nice to have a different variety of lively and quiet pools.The people are so friendly. Not a day went by that we weren't impressed with the Riu Republica!

Nous avons adoré !

Le complexe était magnifique, assez grand, mais très facile à déplacer et il était bondé, mais vous ne le sauriez pas en raison de sa taille. Le terrain était magnifiquement entretenu, très luxuriant et vert et super propre. La nourriture était fantastique ! Il y avait toujours quelque chose à trouver et à manger et notre groupe de 3 personnes n'a pas été malade ! Nous avons apprécié la plage et les piscines, en gardant à l'esprit que c'est l'Atlantique et qu'il y a donc beaucoup de vagues ! Le  [... lire plus]personnel était sympa. Il y avait toujours quelque chose à faire ! Nous reviendrons sans aucun doute !

We loved it!! The resort was beautiful, quite large, yet very easy to move around and it was packed but you wouldn’t know it because of its size. The grounds were maintained beautifully, very lush and green and super clean. The food was fantastic! There was Always something to find and eat and our party of 3 did not get sick! Enjoyed the beach and pools keep in mind it’s the Atlantic so lots of waves! Staff were nice. There was always something to do! We would definitely return!

Une plage magnifique mais qui laisse à désirer

Séjour d'une semaine pendant les vacances. Les chambres sont propres et la plage est superbe. La nourriture était très peu variée et le personnel était irrégulier. Si vous cherchez à vous détendre, ce n'est peut-être pas l'endroit. Occupé et l'adulte seulement signifie beaucoup de groupes plus jeunes qui cherchent à faire la fête.

Great beach but leaves a lot to be desired Had a one week stay over the holidays. Clean rooms and a great beach. Food was so so and the staff was hit and miss. If you're looking to relax maybe not the place. Busy and the adult only means a lot of younger groups looking to party.

Une station extraordinaire !

Tout d'abord, nous devons remercier Diane et Paul pour l'excellent service que nous avons reçu de Trip Central. C'est une agence de voyage de premier ordre. Passons maintenant au Riu Republica. La première chose à dire est que c'est incroyable. Il s'agissait de nos septièmes vacances de Noël et c'était sans aucun doute notre hôtel préféré. Les chambres, la nourriture, les plages et le personnel étaient tous fabuleux. Le seul problème qui s'est posé pendant notre séjour a été celui de la navette  [... lire plus]pour la plage. On nous a dit qu'elle fonctionnait entre 9 et 5 heures tous les jours, mais nous ne l'avons vue que 3 fois au total. Ce ne serait pas un problème, mais deux membres de notre groupe avaient des blessures qui rendaient difficiles les allers-retours.

Amazing resort!! First off we have to thank Diane and Paul for the amazing service we received from Trip Central. They are a first class travel agency. Now on to the Riu Republica. First thought is amazing. This was our seventh Christmas vacation and was definitely our favourite resort. The rooms, food, beaches and staff were all fabulous. The only issue throughout our stay was with the shuttle to the beach. We were told it ran between the hours of 9-5 everyday but we only saw a total of 3 times. Wouldn’t be an issue but two in our party had injuries that made it hard going back and forth Will definitely return to this resort.

Je n'ai rien de négatif à dire ; le complexe était magnifique, très propre, le personnel sympathique et l'excellente variété de restaurants et de choix de nourriture. La plage est magnifique, le sable blanc et l'océan turquoise/bleu clair ; qui peut demander plus !!!

Lovely resort I have nothing negative to say; the resort was beautiful, very clean, staff friendly & excellent variety of restaurants / food selection. The beach beautiful white sand & clear turquoise/blue ocean; who can ask for anything more!!!

Le complexe était très propre. La nourriture était fantastique avec beaucoup d'options. Les piscines et la plage étaient superbes. La chambre avait besoin d'être un peu améliorée mais j'y ai passé peu de temps. Le personnel est très sympathique et serviable. J'y retournerais volontiers.

Amazing resort The resort was super clean. The food was fantastic with lots of options. The pools and the beach were awesome. Room needed a bit of an upgrade but spent little time there. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Would go back again.

Le meilleur hôtel de ma liste jusqu'à présent. Incroyable et magnifique. Bon service et bonne nourriture. J'ai également apprécié les spectacles du soir. Les spectacles du soir étaient un peu différents de ceux que je vois habituellement dans d'autres hôtels.

Amazing resort Best hotel so far on my list. Amazing and beautiful. Good service and good food. I also enjoyed the evening shows. The evening shows were a little bit different from the ones Im usually see in other hotels.

Pas un 5 étoiles

Dans l'ensemble, il s'agit d'un complexe moderne et dynamique. Le personnel est sympathique (surtout quand vous l'êtes), la plage est belle et propre, et le complexe est si grand que vous n'aurez jamais de mal à trouver une chaise longue sur la plage ou à la piscine. Cependant, si vous arrivez tard (après 21 heures dans la plupart des restaurants), préparez-vous à faire la queue et à réchauffer un hamburger froid dans un réfrigérateur ou à prendre un hot-dog qui a été chauffé pendant un certain  [... lire plus]temps... ce n'était pas la meilleure première impression. Il n'y a pas d'endroit où l'on peut manger tard le soir sans avoir à préparer soi-même son repas. De plus, le complexe est ENORME. Préparez-vous à marcher BEAUCOUP. Notre chambre n'était pas très propre lorsque nous sommes arrivés et le complexe était à pleine capacité le premier soir, nous avons pu changer de chambre le lendemain et le personnel était très sympathique. Les piscines étaient très belles, les toboggans étaient superbes et le complexe est très animé. Nous sommes venus en famille, avec des personnes d'âges différents : 28-60+ et nous avons passé un très bon moment. Il y a beaucoup de touristes de 20 ans, donc la vie nocturne est très animée et certaines piscines sont très... divertissantes pendant la journée. La nourriture est très bonne, dans les restaurants à la carte, nous avons eu deux bonnes expériences sur les cinq que nous avons fréquentés. Ce n'est pas un complexe 5 étoiles, mais c'est un solide 4 étoiles. Est-ce que j'y retournerais ? Non, il y a tellement d'autres belles stations à voir, mais celle-ci n'est pas un mauvais choix.

Not a 5 Star Overall, it's an updated and vibrant resort. The staff is friendly (especially when you are), the beach is beautiful and clean, and the resort is so big, you never struggle to find a lounge chair on the beach or at the pool. However...if you are arriving late (after the 9pm of most dinner restaurants) be ready to wait in line and heat up a cold burger from a fridge or grab a hot dog that has been on the heater for quite some time...it was not the best first impression. They do not have a late night eats place where you don't have to make the food yourself. Also, the resort is HUGE. Be ready to walk A LOT. Our room was not very clean when we first arrived and the resort was at full capacity on the first night, we were able to change rooms the next day and the staff was very friendly. The pools were very nice, the slides were great, and the resort is very lively. We came with our family with a range of ages: 28-60+ and we had a great time. There are a lot of 20 year old tourists so the nightlife is quite lively and certain pools are very...entertaining during the day. The food is very good, out of the a la carte restaurants we had two great experiences out of the five we went to. This does not feel like a 5 star resort but it is a solid 4. Would I return? No, there are so many other beautiful resorts to see but this one is not a bad choice.

C'est très amusant !

Le Riu República était super pour ma première fois dans un complexe tout compris. La nourriture était bonne, le personnel très sympathique et nous avons passé un bon moment dans l'ensemble. Nous avons aussi fait du kayak et c'était super.

So much fun! Riu República was great for my first time at an all inclusive resort. The food was good, the staff were very friendly and we had a great time overall. We did some kayaking as well, and that was great.

Excellente expérience

Dans l'ensemble, le séjour au Riu Repáblica a été une expérience formidable ! Le complexe est immense, avec beaucoup d'espace pour s'allonger au soleil ou à l'ombre, plusieurs piscines avec différents niveaux d'activité et de musique. Il y a toujours quelque chose pour vous occuper et vous divertir (toboggans aquatiques, spectacles, salle de sport, discothèque), bien qu'il soit fortement orienté vers un public plus jeune. La plage est magnifique, avec de nombreuses chaises longues. Le personn [... lire plus]el médical du complexe est également formidable ! J'ai eu une petite frayeur pendant mes vacances et le médecin et son assistante ont été incroyables. J'ai été rapidement évaluée et lorsqu'il a été déterminé que j'avais besoin d'être référée, elles ont réussi à m'obtenir un rendez-vous le jour même et ont organisé un taxi sûr pour m'emmener à la clinique spécialisée située à deux heures de route. J'ai vraiment apprécié la façon dont ils se sont occupés de tout.

Great experience Overall staying at the Riu República was a great experience! The resort is huge, lots of space for laying in the sun or shade, multiple pools with various levels of activity/music. There is always something to keep you busy and entertained (waterslides, shows, gym, disco), although heavily-geared towards a younger audience. Beach is gorgeous with lots of lounge chairs. The medical staff at the resort are also amazing! I had a bit of a health scare while on vacation and the doctor and her assistant were incredible. I was quickly assessed and when it was determined that I needed to be referred, they managed to get me a same day appointment and arranged for a safe taxi to take me to the specialist clinic 2 hours away. I really appreciated the way they handled everything.

Grand centre de villégiature !

L'hôtel, le terrain, la nourriture, la plage sont tous extraordinaires. J'ai cependant une suggestion pour ceux qui arrivent tard. La seule nourriture disponible aux heures tardives était celle du bar des sports (pas très bonne). Je pense que lorsque vous avez une arrivée tardive, avoir un espace réservé avec peut-être des petits pains et de la charcuterie serait très apprécié par les clients.

Great Resort! The hotel, the grounds, the food, the beach all amazing. I do have a suggestion for your late arrivals though. The only food available in the later hours was at the sports bar(not so good). I think when you have a later arrival, having a space set aside with maybe buns and cold cuts would be greatly appreciated by guests.

Absolument incroyable !

Le complexe était parfait pour le 33e anniversaire de mon petit ami ! La nourriture était excellente, le personnel était toujours agréable et serviable et la chambre était toujours propre et réapprovisionnée en tout ce qui était nécessaire. Nous pensons y retourner l'année prochaine. C'était agréable d'être dans une station sans enfants pour une fois.

Absolutely amazing! The resort was perfect for my boyfriends 33rd birthday! The food was great, the staff were always pleasant/helpful and the room was always clean and being replenished of anything that was needed. We are thinking of going back next year. It was nice to be at a resort without children for once.

L'hôtel était magnifique, nous avions une belle vue sur le jardin, les piscines et les toboggans aquatiques. La plage était très propre et l'eau était claire la plupart du temps. De grosses vagues, mais toujours amusantes à nager et à regarder. Coucher de soleil magnifique derrière les arbres la plupart des soirs. La nourriture était excellente et il y avait beaucoup de choix pour tout le monde. Le restaurant italien était notre préféré. Les fêtes et le personnel avaient beaucoup d'énergie et il [... lire plus] y avait de la musique différente pour tout le monde à chaque piscine. Les toboggans aquatiques étaient excellents et nous les avons utilisés tous les jours. Dans l'ensemble, 10/10, je recommanderais ce centre de villégiature !

Beautiful resort! The hotel was beautiful, we had a great view of the garden, pools and water slides. The beach was so clean and water was clear most days. Big waves but still fun to swim and watch. Amazing sunset behind the trees most nights. Food was excellent and had lots of options for everyone. Italian restaurant was our personal favourite. Parties and staff had lots of energy and there was different music for everyone at each of the pools. Waterslides were excellent and used them every day. Overall 10/10 would recommend this resort!
