Cofresi Palm Beach and Spa Resort: Apprécié chaque jour

Nous y sommes allés avec un groupe d'amis en juin et avons apprécié chaque jour de nos vacances. Le personnel de l'hôtel était très sympathique, en particulier l'équipe d'animation et les serveurs des restaurants à la carte. Malheureusement, l'air conditionné de l'une de nos chambres était défectueux et il a fallu quelques jours pour le réparer. Les piscines étaient magnifiques. La plage était agréable, mais il y avait peu de chaises pour les clients non VIP. La nourriture était toujours assez b [... lire plus]onne, mais il aurait été bon d'avoir plus de variété pour les petits-déjeuners. Le trajet depuis l'aéroport est un peu long, mais le personnel était très attentif à nos besoins en matière de bagages. Les excursions proposées par l'hôtel étaient également excellentes. Nous ne manquerions pas de recommander ce complexe à d'autres personnes.

Enjoyed Every Day We went with a group of friends in June and enjoyed every day of our vacation here. The hotel staff were very friendly, especially the Animation Entertainment crew and waiters at the a la carte restaurants. Unfortunately one of our rooms had broken A/C and they took a couple days to fix it. The pools were amazing. The beach was nice but there were few chairs for non-VIP guests. The food was always quite good but more variety for breakfasts might have been nice. It's a bit of a long drive from the airport but the staff were very attentive to our luggage needs. The excursions available from this resort were wonderful too. We would definitely recommend this resort to others.

Senator Puerto Plata Hotel: Excellent séjour !

L'hôtel était charmant et le terrain bien entretenu. Il n'y avait pas d'insectes nulle part, j'avais préparé un spray anti-moustiques mais ce n'était pas nécessaire. L'équipe d'animation était géniale, merci Candy Crush, ma fille a adoré le club pour enfants ! L'océan était peu profond et la plongée avec masque et tuba au large de la côte était agréable ! Superbe voyage, la nourriture était bonne dans l'ensemble. Je recommanderais et séjournerais à nouveau. L'utilisation du Riu Merenge a é [... lire plus]té très agréable aussi pour changer. Great Stay! The hotel was lovely and the grounds well kept. No bugs anywhere I was prepared with bug spray but not required. The Animacion team was great thank you Candy Crush as my daughter loved kids club! Ocean was shallow and snorkelling off of the shore was nice! Great trip food was good overall. I would recommend and stay again. Using the Riu Merenge was lovely too to change it up. Good experience!

Iberostar Waves Costa Dorada: Un excellent service, un peu moins pour le reste

Je viens de rentrer de l'Iberostar Costa Dorada, et d'emblée, je tiens à souligner que ce complexe est un solide 4 étoiles maigre. Jolis jardins (pas aussi grands qu'à Punta Cana) Le buffet a beaucoup de virilité et les menus du dîner sont changés tous les soirs. Le restaurant japonais a une belle présentation et la nourriture est bonne. Le restaurant mexicain a un bel intérieur mais la nourriture elle-même n'est pas très bonne. Chaque semaine, au buffet, il y a des dîners d'équipe mexicains qui [... lire plus] sont meilleurs. Le restaurant brésilien a beaucoup de viande et la viande peut être crue. Les bars sont tous superbes avec un excellent choix de cocktails alcoolisés et non alcoolisés. Pour les amateurs de café, le café du buffet principal n'est pas très bon. Demandez plutôt un cappuccino au bar principal. Un problème majeur pour moi était que la plage était très venteuse et l'eau pleine d'algues et de beaucoup de débris et même d'ordures. Lorsque le temps est nuageux, la plage est vert foncé et trouble, même les jours ensoleillés, la plage n'est pas la même que dans d'autres parties de la R.D. Le personnel n'a pas nettoyé la plage du tout et vous serez toujours approché par des vendeurs locaux et vous vendre des visites, des souvenirs ou des tresses de cheveux, trop d'interruptions pendant que vous êtes sur la plage. En raison de ce qui précède, nous avons passé la plupart de notre séjour dans la piscine. Le week-end, la piscine peut être très fréquentée et pas très propre. Iberostar a une promotion spéciale pour les locaux pendant les mois d'été qui leur permet de s'enregistrer le vendredi et de partir le dimanche. Pendant cette période, l'hôtel est bruyant et les locaux n'ont aucun respect pour les autres clients et le personnel. Ils sont parfois impolis et se bousculent au buffet et aux bars. La piscine a besoin d'être rénovée

Excellent Service and the rest not so Just came back from Iberostar Costa Dorada,and from the start I would emphasize that this resort is a solid skinny 4 star. the layout of Iberostar Costa Dorada is excellent not too big not too small, everything is close by. Nice gardens ( not as big as in Punta Cana) Buffet has lot of virility and dinner menus are changed every evening. Japanese restaurant has nice presentation and food is good. Mexican has a nice interio but the food itself not that good. Every week in buffet they have a Mexican team dinners which are better. Brazilian has lot of meat and the meat can be uncooked. Bars are all great with excellent choices of alcoholic and non alcoholic cocktails. For coffee lovers coffee in main buffet not so tasty. Ask for cappuccino at the main bar instead. One major issue for me was that the beach was very windy and the water full of seaweeds and lot of debris and even garbage. When its cloudy the beach is dark green and murky, even on a sunny days the beach is not as same as would be in other parts of D.R. The staff did not clean the beach at all and you will be always approached by local vendors and selling you tours, souvenirs or hair braiding, too many interruptions while on the beach. Due to above we spent most of our stay in the pool. On the weekends pool can be very crowded and not so clean. Iberostar has a special promotion for locals in summer months that allows them to check in on Friday and check out on Sunday. During that time the resort is loud and locals have no respect for other guests and staff. At times they can be rude and pushing at the buffet and bars. Pool need renovation

Iberostar Waves Costa Dorada: Un endroit magnifique

Nous avons séjourné ici du 6 au 14 juin. Le terrain était magnifique, le personnel très efficace, un grand merci à Joselito qui s'occupait de tout le monde au bar de la piscine. La nourriture était excellente tous les jours sauf un, il y avait beaucoup de choix ! La plage était bonne jusqu'à environ 14 heures, puis les vents ont semblé se lever un peu (c'était une nouvelle expérience pour moi, je reste habituellement sur la plage toute la journée, peut-être à cause de la période de l'année ?) [... lire plus] La piscine était propre et il y avait beaucoup d'endroits où s'asseoir. La piscine était propre et il y avait beaucoup d'endroits où s'asseoir. C'est aussi la basse saison, nous avons donc pu profiter de l'endroit en toute liberté. Notre chambre était au rez-de-chaussée, sans aucun problème. Les lits étaient confortables et j'ai apprécié d'avoir une couverture plus épaisse car j'ai trouvé l'air conditionné un peu froid. Notre femme de chambre avait toujours de nouvelles choses mignonnes dans la chambre et remplissait le réfrigérateur tous les jours. J'avais entendu dire que les gens recevaient de la Budweiser, mais heureusement, notre réfrigérateur était rempli de Presidente ! Je ne suis généralement pas un adepte des complexes hôteliers, mais si je devais en choisir un, je séjournerais à nouveau ici.

Beautiful Spot We stayed here Jun 6-14. The grounds were beautiful, staff were very efficient, shout out to Joselito who took care of everyone in the pool bar. The food was amazing every day but one, lots of choices! The beach was good until about 2pm, then the winds seemed to pick up a little bit (this was a new experience for me, I usually stay on the beach all day, maybe the time of year?) The pool was clean and there were lots of places to choose to sit. It's also low season so we pretty much had the run of the place. Our room was on the ground floor, no issues with the room at all. Beds were comfortable and I appreciated having a thicker top blanket because I found the air conditioning a little cold. Our maid always had cute new things in the room and stocked the fridge daily. I had heard people were receiving Budweiser but thankfully our fridge was stocked with Presidente! I'm not usually a resort person, but if I was choosing a resort I would stay here again.

Viva Heavens by Wyndham: Une nourriture incroyable !

C'était la première fois que nous prenions un all inclusive et cela en valait la peine ! V Heavens a dépassé nos attentes. Nous ne savions pas trop à quoi nous attendre, mais après le premier jour, nous savions que nous étions prêts. La nourriture a constamment dépassé nos attentes. Ce n'est pas seulement le goût et l'odeur qui nous ont époustouflés, mais aussi la présentation fantastique des plats, tant à la carte qu'au buffet ! Incredible Food! First time taking on an all inclusive and it was well worth it! V Heavens exceeded our expectations. The highlight was the food, going into it we were not sure what to expect, but after the first day we knew we were all set. The food was consistently exceeding our expectations. It was not only the taste and smell that blew us away, but the fantastic presentation of the dishes of both a la carte and the buffet! We had the junior suite; spacious with a good view from the balcony.

Viva Heavens by Wyndham: cet hôtel est d'une propreté étonnante

tout était impeccable, malheureusement, mon mari étant en fauteuil roulant, il n'a pas pu aller dans l'océan. L'équipe d'animation est un groupe de jeunes gens merveilleux, en particulier Martin et Goofy. Lorsque mon mari a voulu aller dans la piscine, ils étaient là et l'ont littéralement soulevé de son fauteuil roulant pour le mettre dans l'eau et lorsqu'il était prêt à en sortir, ils semblaient surgir de nulle part pour l'aider à sortir.c'était une grande aide pour moi qui fais la moitié de s [... lire plus]a taille, bien que je fasse tout pour lui à la maison, c'était bien que quelqu'un me décharge de cette tâche et il était très reconnaissant. Ma seule suggestion serait de mettre un rail à l'entrée de la piscine, ce qui l'aurait aidé à être plus indépendant. La nourriture n'était pas mauvaise, vous pouviez toujours trouver quelque chose que vous aimiez, le personnel était très amical. C'est un petit hôtel, ce qui nous a plu, nous ne nous sommes pas perdus en essayant de trouver des choses

this was an amazingly clean hotel.loved it everything about it was spotless, unfortunately as my husband is in a wheelchair and was not able to go in the ocean. The animation team are a wonderful group of young people especially martin and Goofy.whrn my hubby wanted to go in the pool they were right there and literally picked him up out of his wheelchair and put him in the water and when he was ready to get out they seemed to appear out of nowhere to help him out.it was a great help for me as i am half his size although i do everything for him at home it was nice that someone took it out of my hands and he was very thankful.Myonly suggestion would to be to put a rail where you go into the pool which would have helped to make him more independant. And the bathrooms in the rooms could have grab rails by the toilet and in the shower.the food was not bad you could always find something you liked the staff were very friendly It is a small hotel which we liked we didn;t get lost trying to find things

VH Gran Ventana Beach Resort: Une expérience étonnante

L'hôtel où j'ai séjourné avec mes amis était le VH gran ventana. Ce complexe est visuellement attrayant et offre toutes les ressources nécessaires pour passer un bon moment. Le seul aspect négatif auquel je peux penser est la plage rocheuse. A part cela, c'est un très bon hôtel et une très bonne expérience

Blue Bay Villas Doradas: De superbes vacances

Le complexe est très beau et luxuriant. Petit mais relaxant et calme. Ma chambre était directement en face de la piscine et c'était relaxant de ne pas entendre de musique forte et de bruit le matin ou pendant que je dormais. La réception n'a pas su répondre aux besoins des clients. L'enregistrement était très désorganisé et compliqué. Il n'y a pas de chambre d'accueil en cas de départ tardif. Ils ont conseillé à certaines personnes que j'ai rencontrées de se doucher à la piscine. J'ai dû me batt [... lire plus]re pour obtenir une chambre d'hôte. Le bureau des services aux clients a été très serviable et compétent. L'équipe d'animation a rendu mon voyage amusant et passionnant. Je n'ai pas aimé qu'ils donnent des certificats pour tous les prix des jeux au lieu d'une bouteille d'alcool ou d'un souvenir. Je ne sais pas ce que je ferai d'un certificat de concours de dégustation de bière. Je n'ai pas du tout aimé la plage. Le sable est sombre et sale, l'eau n'était pas claire du tout à moins que vous nagiez très loin et tellement de vendeurs vendant n'importe quoi me déranger toutes les 5 minutes Aussi pas beaucoup de zones d'ombre Je dis au soleil toute la journée parfois juste pour profiter de la plage.

Great vacation The resort was very beautiful and lush. Small but relaxing and quiet. My room was directly in front of the quiet pool area and was relaxing to not hear loud music and noise in the morning or while I slept. The front desk was terrible at accomadating anything you needed. Check in was very disorganized and complicated. They don't provide a hospitality room if you have a late check out. They advised some people I met there to shower at the pool area. I had to argue my way to get a hospitality room. The guest services desk was very helpful and knowledable. The Animation team made my trip fun and exciting. I didn't like that they gave away certificates for all the game prizes instead of a bottle of alcohol or a souvenir. I'm not sure what I will do with a beer drinking competition certificate. I didn't like the beach at all. The sand is dark and dirty, the water wasn't clear at all unless you swam very far out and so many vendors selling anything bothering me every 5 minutes Also not alot of shades areas I say in the sun all day sometimes just to enjoy the beach.

Marien Puerto Plata Hotel: Grand centre de villégiature

Ce complexe est bien entretenu : le terrain et la piscine sont très bien. Les chambres sont grandes et il n'y a rien à redire sur la propreté. Des serviettes fraîches chaque jour, un bar toujours approvisionné et de belles fleurs déposées dans les serviettes chaque jour. Le restaurant proposait une grande variété de bons plats et le service était un jour bon et le lendemain un peu lent, mais dans l'ensemble, on ne peut pas se plaindre. Les divertissements, que ce soit en journée ou en soirée, [... lire plus] pourraient être meilleurs et doivent être améliorés, en particulier les sports.

Great resort This resort is well maintained: grounds and pool very good. The rooms are large and no complaints about cleanliness. Fresh towels each day, bar always stocked and beautiful flowers tugged in towels daily. Restaurant had a large variety of good food to choose from and service was one day good and the next a bit slow, but all in all cannot complain. Entertainment, wether day or evening could be better and needs improvement, especially sports.

Ce centre de villégiature était très confortable ! Le terrain est magnifique et les chambres et les salles à manger sont superbes ! Nous avons apprécié les spectacles nocturnes et le personnel serviable. Le transport depuis et vers l'aéroport était excellent.

Nice Resort! This resort was very comfortable! The grounds were beautiful and the room and dining areas were great! We enjoyed the nightly shows and appreciated the helpful staff. Transportation from and to the airport was excellent.

Le personnel de la réception est impoli et arrogant. Les chambres tombent en ruine. La nourriture est médiocre. Le personnel d'animation est inexistant. Le personnel a offert de la drogue sur le site. Prostitution PARTOUT. Belles plages cependant.

Don't go here The front desk staff are rude and arrogant. The rooms are falling apart. Food is mediocre. Activity staff non-existent. Offered drugs on the resort by staff. Prostitution EVERYWHERE. Nice beaches though.

VH Gran Ventana Beach Resort: Superbe station balnéaire

Lorsque vous arrivez en voiture au centre de villégiature, il ne ressemble pas à grand-chose depuis la rue, mais une fois à l'intérieur, c'est génial. La nourriture est excellente, il y en a pour tous les goûts, le personnel est très sympathique et arrangeant, les boissons sont excellentes, c'est juste la bonne taille de l'hôtel pour se détendre. Awesome resort When you drive up to the resort it doesn't look like much from the street, however once inside it is awesome. Great food, something there for everyone, very friendly and accommodating staff, drinks are great, just the right size resort to relax. Beach has a lot of vendors, but politely say no thanks and they will continue on they're way. I would highly recommend this resort, amazing bang for your buck.

Personnel impoli, service clientèle épouvantable ! L'hôtel a besoin d'être rénové, les oreillers doivent être jetés et brûlés !!!! Il faut apporter son propre oreiller si l'on veut dormir. Ils ont l'impression de dormir sur des rochers !!! La plage était correcte, la nourriture était excellente !

Was not impressed ;( Rude staff, terrible customer service! Hotel needs a lot of updating, pillows needs to be thrown out and burned!!!! Bring your own pillow if you want to sleep. Theirs feel like sleeping on rocks!!! Beach was ok, food was excellent!

Marien Puerto Plata Hotel: C'est un grand centre de villégiature

Nous avons apprécié tous les aspects de la station, ils étaient toujours là pour nous aider et nous avons également apprécié la nourriture, le terrain était très propre et les gens qui y travaillent sont très amicaux et serviables

Le resort était ok...le personnel était bon...les chambres étaient vieilles et sentaient le renfermé. Les excursions étaient beaucoup trop chères. La nourriture était la même toute la semaine ... c'était correct mais pas varié. Je ne réserverai plus jamais là bas. Les divertissements étaient HORRIBLES

Iberostar Waves Costa Dorada: Centre de villégiature moyen

Dans l'ensemble, nous avons apprécié notre séjour. C'était notre cinquième séjour en République démocratique du Congo et notre premier à Ibserostar. Le personnel était dans l'ensemble chaleureux et professionnel, en particulier au buffet et à la réception. Il s'agit d'un complexe relativement petit, bien entretenu mais plutôt délabré et daté dans l'ensemble. Notre chambre était au dernier étage avec vue sur l'océan, ce qui était charmant, mais pour un complexe cinq étoiles, la chambre était  [... lire plus]plutôt basique et la salle de bain très décevante car elle était miteuse et vieille. Pendant la majeure partie de notre séjour, nous sommes allés au buffet car la nourriture était bonne et le personnel encore meilleur. Le restaurant japonais était très bon pour la nourriture et le service, mais les autres étaient très médiocres et le service était épouvantable dans le restaurant mexicain. Le bar à cocktails était super et notre café matinal délicieux. La plage a été un choc pour nous, car il y avait de vrais déchets flottant sur la plage, et il y avait donc des zones spécifiques où nous n'allions qu'à pied pour nous baigner. Il faut faire attention aux commerçants qui se promènent sur la plage toute la journée, ils sont très intrusifs et agaçants. Les animations en soirée étaient probablement les pires que nous ayons connues en République démocratique du Congo. Nous avons apprécié notre semaine à l'Iberostar, mais nous n'y retournerons pas, car il n'est en rien comparable aux autres complexes cinq étoiles de la République démocratique du Congo. Ils ont pris possession de la piscine et du bar de la piscine et se sont montrés bruyants, agressifs et désordonnés. Les clients payants du centre de villégiature se contentaient littéralement de regarder à côté, se demandant ce qui se passait. Chaque fois que je suis allée au bar de la piscine, j'ai été totalement ignorée alors que certains membres du personnel (vous savez qui vous êtes, Ana), discutaient et servaient leurs amis et traitaient les clients du centre de villégiature avec dédain. C'est tout à fait inacceptable, car il ne s'agissait pas de vacances bon marché et nous nous attendions à un complexe hôtelier quatre ou cinq étoiles. Soyez attentifs à cela, car nous avons découvert que cela se produisait chaque semaine et c'est franchement bouleversant. Cela rabaisse le complexe à deux ou trois étoiles. Nous nous sommes limités à la plage à cause de cela, tout au long de la journée. Iberostar, vous avez beaucoup de progrès à faire pour vous rapprocher de la qualité et du service offerts par d'autres hôtels cinq étoiles ! Si vous voulez que les clients payants reviennent, vous devez revoir vos politiques, car nous avons entendu beaucoup de commentaires négatifs de la part d'autres voyageurs qui venaient pour la première fois et qui n'étaient pas satisfaits de la fréquentation de ce complexe par les locaux. Ce qui est excellent, c'est votre personnel chaleureux, aimable et merveilleux, en particulier au buffet, au bar à cocktails et à la réception. Un grand merci à Narcisos, Allen, Ifrain !

Average resort Overall, we enjoyed our stay. This was our fifth vacation to the D.R. and our first to Ibserostar. The staff overall were warm and professional, especially in the buffet and reception. This is a relatively small resort, well maintained though rather rundown and dated, overall. Our room was on the top floor with ocean view, which was delightful, but for a five-star resort, the room was pretty basic and the bathroom a big disappointment as it was shabby and old. For most of our stay we went to the buffet as the food was good and the staff even better. The Japanese restaurant was very good for food and service but the others were very poor and the service was dreadful in the Mexican restaurant. The cocktail lounge was super and our early morning coffee delicious. The beach area was a shock to us, as there was actual garbage floating onto the beach, so there were specific areas we would only walk to, in order to swim. Be aware of traders walking up and down the beach all day, they are very Intrusive and annoying. The evening entertainment was probably the worst we have experienced in the D.R. Totally boring and amateur and so disappointing. We enjoyed our week at the Iberostar but will not be returning, as it in no way compares to other five-star resorts in the D.R. What put us off most of all, though, were the locals who are allowed to use the resort. They took over the pool and pool bar and were noisy, aggressive and messy. The paying resort quests literally just watched on the sidelines, wondering what on earth was happening. Every time I went to the swim-up bar I was totally ignored as some staff (you know who you are, Ana), chatted and served their friends and treated resort quests with distain. This is completely unacceptable, because this was not a cheap holiday, and we expected a four to five-star exclusive resort. Do be aware of this, as we found out this is a weekly occurrence and it honestly is upsetting. It brings the resort down to a two or three star. We only kept to the beach area because of this, through the day. Iberostar, you have a lot of improving to do, to even come close to the quality and service other five-star resorts offer! If you want paying guests to return, you need to rethink your policies, as we heard a lot of negative comments from fellow travellers there for the first time, and they were unhappy about the locals using this resort. What excels is your warm, kind and wonderful staff, especially in the buffet, cocktail lounge and reception. A big thank you to Narcisos, Allen, Ifrain!

Marien Puerto Plata Hotel: Vacances relaxantes

Be Live Marien s'est avéré être un bon choix pour un séjour d'une semaine. La chambre était confortable et le personnel sympathique et arrangeant. Ce que j'ai vraiment apprécié, c'est le fait que le complexe soit un peu plus compact que certains de nos autres séjours, pas beaucoup de marche nécessaire, mais toutes les commodités auxquelles on s'habitue avec les complexes tout compris tout compris. Je serais enclin à visiter leur hôtel à Punta Cana au printemps prochain. Dans l'ensemble, de bonn [... lire plus]es vacances !

Relaxing Vacation Be Live Marien turned out to be a good choice for a week long break. The room was comfortable and the staff friendly and accommodating. What I really liked was the fact that the resort was a little more compact than some of our other vacations, not a lot of walking necessary, but all the amenities you get used to with all inclusive resorts. I'd be inclined to check out their hotel in Punta Cana next spring. All in all a good vacation!

Marien Puerto Plata Hotel: Un centre de villégiature agréable mais ancien

Dans l'ensemble, mon séjour au centre de villégiature s'est bien passé. La chambre était très propre malgré les 15 couches de peinture. Elle sentait le vieux et l'humide. L'employée était si sympathique que j'aurais été heureuse qu'elle s'occupe de ma mère. J'ai eu droit à un très gros câlin authentique avant de partir. La nourriture était correcte mais pas constante d'un soir à l'autre. Certains membres du personnel n'étaient pas du tout bilingues. Il y a peut-être eu 2 belles journées couvertes mais agréables et 1 belle journée ensoleillée sur les 7 jours que j'ai passés là-bas. Est-ce que j'y retournerais ? Probablement, mais pas seul, et il faudrait que ce soit moins cher. Le vendredi soir, 600 Dominicains sont arrivés au centre de villégiature en guise de cadeau de leur patron. Ils étaient partout. Je comprends que c'était un cadeau pour eux, mais pour les personnes qui ont payé le prix fort, je ne pense pas que ce soit juste, car je suis célibataire et j'ai payé plus cher mon voyage parce que je suis célibataire. Quant au buffet, ils ont dévalisé les desserts en premier et on pouvait voir que beaucoup d'entre eux remplissaient leur assiette comme s'ils n'avaient pas mangé depuis des jours. Donc ce vendredi, extrêmement bruyant dans les couloirs du bâtiment après l'enregistrement et samedi et dimanche, à l'extérieur, à la piscine, les enfants couraient dans tous les sens et remplissaient la piscine. J'ai donc passé la majeure partie de la journée dans ma chambre

Nice but older Resort Well overall my "séjour" at teh resort was good. The room was very clean despite 15 coats of paint. It smelled old and humid. The made was so friendly I would have been happy having her has my mother. I got a very big Genuine hug before I left. The food was ok but not consistant from one night to the other. For exemple pork medallion with sauce would melt in your mouth one night but be hard the next night. I was lucky to be bilingual. Some of the staff were not bilingual at all. There was may be 2 nice days overcast but nice and 1 beautiful sunny day out of the 7 days a was there. Would I go back? Probably but not alone, and it would have to be cheaper. On the Friday night 600 Dominicans arrived at the resort as a present from there Boss. They were every where. I understand that for them was a treat but for the people that paid full price, I don't think it was fair as I am single and paid more for my trip because I am single. As for the buffet, they raided the desserts first and you could see, a lot of them would fill their plate like they hadn't eaten for days. So that Friday, extremely noisy in the corridors of the building after checking in and Saturday and Sunday, outside at the pool kids running around and filling up the pool. VH Gran Ventana Beach Resort: Grand centre de villégiature !

J'ai passé une semaine (du 28 avril au 5 mai) au VH Gran Ventana et j'ai passé un excellent moment. Aucun problème réel avec notre chambre, rien de cassé ou de fuyant, et l'emplacement (rez-de-chaussée à la fin d'un bloc de chambres) était parfait. Cependant, il aurait été agréable d'avoir une commode pour nos vêtements plutôt que de devoir les laisser dans la valise. Nous avons apprécié le buffet, bien varié et bien garni. Oui, les serveurs pour les boissons étaient parfois lents mais la plupar [... lire plus]t du temps nos verres de vin étaient remplis rapidement. Nous avons apprécié les 3 restaurants à la carte et n'avons pas eu à nous plaindre. Nous n'avons eu aucun problème à trouver des chaises longues autour de la piscine, mais si vous en vouliez une sous un parasol, elles étaient difficiles à trouver. Il en va de même pour la plage, mais vous pouviez vous placer plus haut de l'eau, sous les arbres, pour avoir de l'ombre. L'océan était superbe, avec peu ou pas d'algues. Il y avait un spectacle différent chaque soir, certains meilleurs que d'autres, mais tous agréables et il y avait des jeux etc. autour de la piscine et de la plage tous les jours si vous souhaitiez participer ou simplement vous amuser à regarder. Il n'y a que deux problèmes qui me viennent à l'esprit. Les week-ends, les locaux viennent séjourner à l'hôtel et s'en emparent en quelque sorte, et l'autre problème était que c'était une période très humide de l'année et que l'air conditionné vous gardait au frais mais n'éliminait pas l'humidité, de sorte que votre maillot de bain ne séchait jamais vraiment et que vos vêtements semblaient humides. Nous retournerions au VH Gran Ventana, oui, sans hésitation !

Great Resort! Spent a week (Apr 28/17 to May 5/17) at the VH Gran Ventana and had a great time. No real issues with our room, nothing broken or leaking, and the location (ground floor at the end of a block of rooms) was perfect. However it would have been nice to have had a dresser for our clothes rather than having to leave them in suitcase. Enjoyed the buffet, good variety and plenty of food. Yes, the servers for beverages at times were slow but most times our wine glasses were refilled promptly. Enjoyed the 3 a la carte restaurants and had no complaints. Had no problem finding loungers around the pool, however, it you wanted one under an umbrella they were hard come by. The same with the beach but you could position yourself higher up from the water under trees for shade. The ocean was super with little to no seaweed. There was a different show each night, some better than others, but all enjoyable and there were games etc. around the pool and beach everyday if you wished to participate or just fun to watch. There were only two issues that come to mind. On the weekends the locals come to stay at the hotel and kind of take it over and the other issue was that it was a very humid time of the year and the air conditioning kept you cool but didn't remove the moisture so you bathing suit never really dried and your clothes felt damp. Would we return to the VH Gran Ventana again, yes with no hesitation!
