Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Un endroit formidable

C'est mon deuxième séjour au Grand Bahia Principe et les deux ont été une expérience formidable, une nourriture incroyable, bien entretenue et très propre. Je planifie déjà mon troisième séjour avec un groupe d'amis en août. Les inconvénients Les serveurs sont un peu impolis aux buffets, bonne chance pour obtenir votre café ou votre boisson.

Great place This is my second stay in Grand Bahia Principe and both has been great experience, amazing food, well maintained and very clean. I am already planning my third visit with a group of friends in August. The downside Waiters are a bit rude at the buffets, good luck on getting your coffee or drinking refill.

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Le bon lieu de vacances dans la mauvaise station

Nous avons décidé d'essayer le Bahia Principe Tulum après avoir cherché sur Internet des lieux de vacances possibles. Il est vrai que notre voyage n'a pas été des plus agréables au départ. Notre vol a eu trois heures et demie de retard, ce qui n'est pas la faute de l'hôtel. Cependant, lorsque nous sommes finalement arrivés, la chambre qui nous avait été attribuée n'avait pas d'air conditionné en état de marche. On ne nous a pas proposé d'autre chambre pendant qu'on essayait de réparer le problèm [... lire plus]e. Lorsque nous avons finalement réussi à faire fonctionner la climatisation, nous avons réalisé que la raison de notre mauvais sommeil n'était pas la température de la chambre mais la dalle de béton que l'on appelait matelas. J'ai subi une opération du dos et j'ai besoin d'un matelas beaucoup plus ferme que celui de mon chéri, mais ce sur quoi nous avons dormi aurait pu être remplacé par les dalles du sol sans qu'il y ait de différence notable. Le retour à la maison a apporté une grande amélioration. Le restaurant principal/ buffet était bon, mais pas exceptionnel. Ensuite, le complexe semble utiliser les eaux grises (c'est-à-dire l'eau qui se trouvait auparavant dans l'évier, la baignoire et les toilettes) pour irriguer l'herbe et les arbres. Cela ne sent pas très bon. En fait, nous avions l'impression de marcher dans une fosse septique en allant et en revenant du restaurant-buffet principal. Croyez-moi, ma femme et moi avons failli vomir ce que nous venions de manger au buffet voisin. Je ne peux que supposer que les panneaux placés à divers endroits pour indiquer qu'il ne faut pas marcher sur l'herbe n'avaient pas pour but d'empêcher l'usure des sentiers dans la pelouse, mais plutôt de mettre la peau en contact avec l'herbe. Ne vous attendez pas à pouvoir faire quoi que ce soit d'intéressant en matière de plongée avec masque et tuba sur la plage. Un brise-lames a été installé le long du bord sud de la plage, ce qui permet de réduire l'action des vagues, mais l'eau est au mieux profonde comme une poitrine. Il n'y a pas de lagons ou de baies. Des bateaux à aubes, des parapentes, des hobie cats et des wave runners sont disponibles pour des activités au-dessus de l'eau. Parmi les restaurants à la carte, j'en ai essayé cinq. Je recommande le Tequila (mexicain) et le Rodezio (brésilien) comme meilleurs choix. Lorsque vous prenez vos boissons dans les différents bars, vous devez peut-être préciser quelle liqueur doit être ajoutée à la boisson, sinon la tequila semble être la solution par défaut. Cela ne fonctionne pas dans une pina colada. N'oubliez pas l'expression "sin tequila" (prononcez "vu tequila"), qui signifie "sans tequila". En outre, tout au long de notre séjour, nous avons été sollicités à de multiples reprises pour assister à la présentation de la "multipropriété", acheter des bracelets bon marché ou nous faire masser. Il semble que cette pratique des vendeurs ambulants ait été pleinement approuvée par la direction du centre de villégiature. Je suis venu dans le sud pour échapper à la neige et à la glace, pas pour être confronté à des offres de vente répétées. À la suite de mes expériences dans cet établissement, je ne peux pas le recommander pour de futures visites. Je conseillerai à mes amis et à ma famille d'autres stations que j'ai visitées.

The right vacation place in the wrong resort We decided to try the Bahia Principe Tulum after searching the internet for possible vacation spots. Admittedly, our travel was less than pleasant to begin with. Our flight was 3 1/2 hours late in departing, no fault of the resort. However when we finally arrived, the room we had been assigned did not have functioning air conditioning. No offer of an alternate room was made while they tried to repair the problem. When we finally did get functioning air conditioning working, we realized the reason for our poor sleep was not the room temperature but the slab of concrete that was called a mattress. I have had back surgery and a need a much firmer mattress than my honey however what we slept on could have been substituted by the floor tiles without a noticeable difference. Getting home made a big improvement. The main restaurant/ buffet was good, not exceptional. Next, the resort seems to use grey-water (that's water that was formerly in your sink, bathtub and toilet) for irrigating the grass and trees. It doesn't smell very good. In fact, it smelled like we were walking through a septic tank on the way to and from the main buffet restaurant. Believe me, it made both me and my wife to nearly vomit up what we had just eaten at the nearby buffet. I can only assume the signs placed in various locations to keep off the grass were not there to prevent wearing paths in the lawn, more likely it would be a health hazard to have skin contact with the grass. Don't expect to be able to do much of anything interesting in regards to snorkeling on the beach. There is a breakwater set up along the southern edge of the beach which provides some reduced wave action however the water is chest deep at best. No lagoons or bays available. There was paddle boats, para-gliders, hobie cats and wave runners available for some above water action. Of the a la carte restaurants I managed to try 5 of them. I recommend the Tequila (Mexican) and the Brazilian Rodezio as top choices. When getting your drinks at the various bars you may have to specify which liqueur needs to go in the drink otherwise the default seemed to be tequila. It doesn't work in a pina colada. Remember the phrase 'sin tequila' (pronounced seen tequila) meaning without tequila. Additionally, we were approached multiple times throughout our stay to attend the 'time-share' presentation or buy some cheap bracelets or get a massage. It seemed this practice of wandering sales people had the full sanction of the management of the resort. I came south to escape the snow and ice, not to deal with repeated sales offers. As a result of my experiences at this location, I cannot recommend it for future visits. I will be advising my friends and family to other resorts which I have visited.

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Superbe station pour les couples

Bien qu'il y ait une légère atmosphère de fête, c'est plus pour les couples du côté du luxe. La nourriture était incroyable et la station était très propre. La plage n'était pas la plus belle du côté du luxe, mais si vous marchez un peu vers le grand côté, elle est magnifique.

Great couples resort While there is a slight party atmosphere it’s more for couples on the luxury side. Food was amazing and the resort was very clean. The beach wasn’t the greatest on the luxury side but if you walk a bit to the grand side it’s gorgeous.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Grandes vacances

Je recommanderais sans hésiter le Grand Bahia Principe, Jamaïque. Notre chambre était spacieuse et propre. Le terrain est très bien entretenu - extrêmement propre et bien entretenu. Le personnel est très aimable et serviable. Les services de restauration étaient également excellents - une grande variété de plats à choisir et nous n'avons jamais eu à attendre pour une table. L'hôtel propose un certain nombre d'activités tout au long de la journée pour vous divertir, si vous le souhaitez.  [... lire plus]Cependant, il y a de nombreux endroits où vous pouvez vous rendre pour profiter du calme, si c'est ce que vous préférez. Mon seul reproche à l'égard de cet hôtel concerne la réservation et la gestion des chambres. Ils n'acceptent pas les demandes de chambres, par exemple celles qui sont accessibles aux fauteuils roulants, et n'y répondent pas. Plusieurs clients nous ont dit qu'on leur avait donné une chambre avec un seul lit alors qu'il y avait plus de deux personnes dans la chambre et/ou que les deux personnes n'étaient pas partenaires et ne voulaient pas partager le même lit !

Great Vacation I would definitely recommend the Grand Bahia Principe, Jamaica. Our room was spacious and clean. The grounds are very well kept - extremely clean and well-maintained. Loved the pool!The staff is super friendly and helpful. The food services was also great - a wonderful variety of food to select from and we never had to wait for a table. The hotel offered a number of activities throughout the day to keep you entertained, if you wished. However, there are plenty of areas to go and enjoy quiet time, if that is your preference. My only complaint with this hotel is the room reservation/management. They do not acknowledge or accommodate room requests, i.e., wheelchair accessible. We heard from a number of guests that they were given a room with one bed when there were more than two people staying in the room and/or the two people were not partners and did not want to share a bed!

Le luxueux Bahia Principe Akumal est le meilleur complexe hôtelier que nous ayons connu. L'endroit est magnifique et propre et le personnel est incroyable. Nous n'avons pas eu à demander quoi que ce soit, ils nous le demandaient. Le service à la clientèle est exceptionnel. Et oui, la nourriture était incroyable aussi. note de 1 à 5 : 5+++ Et merci à Tanya Smith de nous avoir aidés.

Best trip yet Luxury Bahia Principe Akumal is the best resort we have been to. The place is gorgeous and clean and staff are amazing. We didn’t have to ask for anything, they were asking us. Customer service above and beyond. And yes the food was amazing as well. 1-5 rating a 5+++ And thank you Tanya Smith for helping us with this.

Les serveurs de ce complexe étaient très gentils et très serviables. Je n'ai pas eu d'eau chaude dans ma chambre pendant deux jours, après avoir demandé quatre fois, cela a été réparé. Ma chambre était toujours propre. La piscine était également propre. La plage était correcte.

Very good Servers in this resort were very nice, very helpful. I had no hot water in my room for two days, after I asked for four times, it got fixed. My room was always clean. Pool also was clean. The beach was okay.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Un centre de villégiature formidable !

Ce complexe est un paradis pour les gourmands ! L'hôtel était propre et le personnel était enthousiaste. Ils ont rendu mon séjour très confortable. La touche spéciale dans ma chambre pour m'aider à célébrer mon anniversaire était très touchante ! Je me suis sentie en sécurité J'ai passé un excellent moment et j'y retournerais volontiers !

Awesome resort! This resort is a foodie’s paradise! The resort was clean and the staff were eager to please. They made my stay very comfortable. The special touch in my room to help me celebrate my birthday was very touching! I felt safe Had a great time and would dedenitly go back!

Le centre de villégiature était extraordinaire. La nourriture était excellente, les chambres propres et le personnel très amical et serviable. Nous y retournerons et y séjournerons. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié. Il y a tellement de choses à faire ici, vous n'avez pas besoin de quitter le complexe pour vous amuser.

Great Resort The resort was amazing. The food was great, clean rooms and staff was very friendly and helpful. We would go back and stay here. We enjoyed it very much. There is so much to do here, you don’t have to leave the resort to have a lot of fun.

Bahia Principe Explore El Portillo: Un centre de villégiature génial !

C'est le centre de villégiature le plus propre que j'aie jamais visité. Le terrain était magnifique et bien entretenu. La nourriture était excellente, que ce soit au buffet ou dans les restaurants à la carte. Les gens étaient toujours serviables et amicaux.

Awesome Resort! This was the cleanest resort I have been to. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. The food was amazing, both at the buffet and the a la carte restaurants. The people were always helpful and friendly.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: J'ai passé de si bonnes vacances

Magnifique, bien entretenu, propre, plage et piscines extraordinaires, navette pratique, nourriture excellente. Le seul reproche est qu'en raison du grand nombre d'activités, il y a beaucoup de bruit dans les parties communes telles que la plage, les piscines, le buffet, le salon/lobby. La chambre était très calme.

I had such a nice vacation Beautiful, well kept, clean, amazing beach and pools, convenient shuttle, great food. Only complaint was that becsuse there are so many activities going on, it is pretty loud in common areas such as beach, pools, buffet, lounge/lobby. Room was very quiet.

Chambre propre et confortable avec vue sur la piscine. Nettoyage quotidien de la plage et de la piscine. Nous sommes restés une semaine et nous aurions pu rester deux semaines de plus ! La vie nocturne était très divertissante et tout le monde se joignait à nous pour danser et chanter ! Et il y avait beaucoup de chattes pour éliminer les rongeurs ! Les jardins et les terrains étaient très bien entretenus

Fantastic Clean and comfy room with pool view. Cleaned beach daily and pool . Food was great and service as well .we stayed for a week could of stayed for two more weeks!night life was entirely entertaining and everyone joined in with dancing and singing! And plenty of pussy around to take of any rodents! The gardens and grounds were very neatly maintained

Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: Beau et propre

Le terrain est très bien entretenu, propre et beau. Les employés n'étaient pas aussi sympathiques qu'à Cuba, selon notre expérience, mais nous retournerions certainement dans ce complexe. Nous avons séjourné dans le complexe pour adultes Aquamarine. Je chercherai à réserver uniquement pour les adultes dans les futurs complexes que nous réserverons. La piscine était grande, avec beaucoup d'endroits pour nager et s'asseoir avec de la bonne musique. Les boutiques étaient superbes, nous n'avons même [... lire plus] pas eu besoin de quitter le complexe. C'était notre première fois en République Dominicaine. Nous avons dû changer de chambre car la vue sur le jardin donnait sur une route et un bâtiment derrière une clôture, ce qui était très bruyant. Nous étions en face de la piscine, ce qui était agréable, et si nous voulions rester sur notre patio le soir, nous pouvions écouter la musique dans le hall. La plupart des nuits, nous sommes allés au bar et avons un peu dansé. Nous avons rencontré des gens et nous nous sommes fait de nouveaux amis. Le seul point négatif que nous avons, ce sont les piqûres d'insectes que nous avions sur tout le corps, surtout la nuit dans le hall et lorsque nous nous promenions sur le terrain. Nous avons dû vaporiser notre lit et nos draps avec de l'essence parce que lorsque nous nous sommes levés le matin, nous avions été piqués pendant notre sommeil.

Beautiful and Clean The grounds very well kept, clean and beautiful. The workers were not as friendly as in Cuba as per our experience, but we would certainly go back to this resort. We stayed at the adult resort Aquamarine. I will look for adults only for future resorts that we book. The pool was large with lots of places to swim and sit with good music. Shopping was great, didn't even haft to leave the resort. This was our first time in Dominican. We had to upgrade our room because the garden view was of a road and a building in behind a fence that was very noisy. We were in front of the pool area that was nice, if we wanted to stay on our patio at night we could listen to the music in the lobby. Most nights we went to the bar and did a lost of dancing. Meant people and made new friends. The only negative we have are the bug bits that we had all over our bodies, mostly at night in the lobby and as we walked around the grounds.We had to spray our bed and sheets with off because when we got up in the morning we had been biting as we slept.

Très propre, personnel formidable. Bon choix de nourriture. La plage était magnifique. Un endroit où vous pouvez être aussi occupé ou détendu que vous le souhaitez ! L'Aquamarine est un complexe réservé aux adultes. Le Bahia Principe est un grand complexe qui offre beaucoup de choses pour tous les âges. J'ai hâte d'y retourner !

Very clean, great staff. Good selection of food. Beach was beautiful. A place where you can be as busy or relaxed as you like! Aquamarine is an adults only resort. The Bahia Principe is a large resort which has many things for all ages. Can't wait to go back!

Bahia Principe Explore La Romana: Bonnes vacances

L'hôtel était bien entretenu : terrain, piscines et chambres. Le service au buffet et au restaurant de la plage était correct. Peu d'attention a été portée pendant les vacances, d'où le peu de pourboires. Le surclassement Golden Service a été très utile - pour l'enregistrement, l'accès aux ordinateurs et l'assistance pour les rendez-vous médicaux et les médicaments lorsque ma fille était malade.

Good vacation Hotel was well attended to re: grounds, pools, and rooms. Service in buffet and beach restaurant I'd say was fair. Not much attention was given during the vacation - hence not much tipping. The Golden Service upgrade was very helpful - for check in, access to computers, and assistance with medical appointment and medicine when my daughter was sick.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Superbe station balnéaire

Très belle station de type palace ! Le service est impeccable et tous les employés rencontrés ont été incroyables, gentils et serviables. La nourriture était délicieuse, à la carte et au buffet, en particulier le poulet jerk au restaurant Pisces sur la plage. Les piscines sont superbes, mais la plage l'est encore plus ! La chambre et la vue étaient magnifiques ! C'était notre deuxième séjour au Bahia à Runnaway Jamaica et nous y retournerons !!!

Awesome resort Very beautiful palace like resort!! Service is impeccable and every employee encountered were amazing , kind and helpful. The food was all delicious, à la carte and buffets, especially the jerk chicken in The Pisces restaurant by the beach. Great pools but even better beach!! The room and view was beautiful! It was our second time at the Bahia in Runnaway Jamaica and we will go back!!!

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Un véritable coup de foudre pour cet endroit !

Nous avons tout adoré dans ce centre de villégiature ! L'ambiance tropicale luxuriante, l'accès à plusieurs complexes, le service exceptionnel et la nourriture fantastique ! La seule chose que nous changerions est la distance de l'aéroport. Cela nous a pris plus d'une heure, mais cela en valait la peine ! Nous avons déjà hâte de revenir !

Fell in love with this place! We loved everything about this resort! The lush tropical feel, the access to multiple resorts, the outstanding service and the fantastic food! The only thing we would change is the distance from the airport. It took over an hour, but was still well worth it! We already look forward to returning!
