Las Palmas by the Sea: C'est la quatrième fois que j'y vais, alors c'est comme si j'étais à la maison

On reconnaît un bon établissement à la faible rotation de son personnel. Ce n'est qu'un exemple au Las Palmas. Ma chambre était propre et confortable avec un balcon, donc regarder l'océan au Mexique alors qu'il fait moins 65 chez moi ne peut pas être mauvais. Le personnel dans tous les domaines est très accommodant, mais cela vient après avoir été là si souvent. J'ai aimé la nourriture aussi... beaucoup de variété et les SOUPES étaient à mourir. J'ai aussi séjourné dans des endroits chics qui co [... lire plus]ûtaient une tonne d'argent, mais je ne me suis jamais sentie aussi à l'aise. Beaucoup de Canadiens et de touristes mexicains en font un endroit agréable. J'aurais aimé que l'on fume moins, mais c'est le Mexique. La plage est à trois pas et le port et Wal-Mart à 45 minutes de marche sur le sable. Il y a de nombreux guichets bancaires pour obtenir des pesos en utilisant votre carte de débit, ce qui facilite l'obtention d'argent liquide. Le centre-ville est à une demi-heure de marche ou à 5 minutes par les petits bus bleus. Je suis heureux d'avoir trouvé ce petit bijou et, oui, je reviendrai probablement en février prochain pour y rester plus longtemps. A bientôt... Amour - Le fils moyen préféré de maman Kozak.

My 4th time, so it's like being at home You can tell a good place to stay , when the staff shows little turnover. That's just one example at Las Palmas. My room was clean and comfortable with a balconey so looking over the ocean in Mexico when it's a minus 65 windchill back home can't be bad. Staff in all areas very accomodating , but that comes after having been there so often. I LIKE the food too..lots of variety and the SOUPS were to die for. I've stayed at Fancy places too which cost a ton of money but never felt so comfortable. Lots of Canadians and Mexican tourists make it a pleasant spot to be. I do wish there was less smoking but that's Mexico. The Beach is just three steps down and a 45 minute walk on the Sand to the harbour and Wal-Mart. Plenty of Bank Machines to get pesos using your Debit card makes getting cash very easy. The walk downtown is about a half hour or 5 minues by the little blue buses. I'm glad i found this little jewel and , yes i'll probably fly back this coming February and stay longer. See Ya There... Love - Mom Kozak's Favorite Middle Son.

Iberostar Selection Playa Mita: Un bon centre de villégiature

Dans l'ensemble, c'est un très bon complexe. Les points négatifs sont que la piscine n'est pas chauffée, la nourriture est juste moyenne plus. Les chambres sont chaudes la nuit. Bons points Un emplacement idéal. Certains diront que c'est à cause de la distance qui nous sépare de Puerto Vallarta, mais c'est ce que nous voulions. Excellent emplacement pour aller explorer les communautés voisines. Promenades matinales sur une plage vide. Chambres confortables.

A good resort Overall it is a very good resort. The bad points are the pool is not heated,the food is just average plus. Warm rooms at night. Good points A great location. Some may argue because of the distance from Puerto Vallarta but that's what we wanted. Great location to go and explore the neighboring communities.Excellent staff. Morning walks on an empty beach.Good spa. Comfortable rooms.

Iberostar Selection Playa Mita: Tout nouveau centre de villégiature avec une vue et un personnel extraordinaires

Tout était extraordinaire. La nourriture était de grande qualité et le personnel de l'ensemble du complexe était superbe. Beaucoup de choix de restaurants. Et le décor que j'allais voler parce qu'il était si cool. Il n'y avait pas beaucoup de monde la semaine où nous y sommes allés, ce qui était agréable. Un peu loin de la ville mais cela nous convenait. Le taxi était cher pour aller à la ville voisine à 15 minutes. Le personnel était excellent, apportant des boissons à la piscine et à la plage. [... lire plus] Je recommande le bar de la plage et les hamburgers et les frites C'était plus cher que ce que nous voulions dépenser mais ça en valait la peine. Brand new resort with amazing view and staff Everything was amazing. Food was great quality and staff all around the resort was superb. Lots of choices of restaurants. And decor I was going to steal cuz it was so cool. Not packed the week we went which was nice. Bit far away from town but it was fine with us. Taxi was expensive to the next town 15 mins away. Staff were excellent bringing drinks to the pool and beach. Recommend the bar at the beach and the burger and fries It was more money that we wanted to spend but so worth it. The view was amazing

Samba Vallarta: Très relaxant

Nous avons voyagé au Mexique plus de 30 fois et nous aimons séjourner dans des hôtels différents à chaque fois. Nous avons été très satisfaits de ce complexe tranquille et intime. Même s'il s'agit d'un hôtel plus ancien, nous l'avons préféré aux méga-hôtels où nous avons l'impression de n'être qu'une monnaie d'échange pour l'hôtel. Les chambres étaient très propres et très confortables, les piscines étaient fantastiques avec une abondance de zones et de chaises pour les amateurs de bronzage, tou [... lire plus]t comme le service de bar. La nourriture était très bonne, avec une sélection de plats mexicains traditionnels et des plats de base pour les mangeurs difficiles. Nous avons voyagé avec notre petit-fils de trois mois et nous avons trouvé qu'il était très facile de se déplacer avec un enfant dans une poussette. La plage était très propre, tout comme les toilettes publiques. Nous recommandons sans hésiter cet hôtel aux voyageurs qui recherchent des vacances plus tranquilles à un prix très intéressant.

Very Relaxing We have travelled to Mexico over 30 times and enjoy staying at different hotels each time. We were very pleased with this quiet and intimate resort. Even though it was an older hotel , we preferred it to the mega hotels were we feel that we just become a dollar sign to the hotel. The rooms were very clean and quite comfortable, the pools were fantastic with supplying an abundance of areas and chairs for the sunbathers. as was the bar service. The food was very good with a selection of traditional Mexican to basics for the fussy eater. We travelled with our three month old grandson and found that it was very easy for us to move around with a child in a stroller. The beach area was very clean as were the public washrooms. We would definately recommend this hotel for travellers that are looking for a quieter holiday at a very good price.

Canto Del Sol: Très beau centre de villégiature

L'hôtel était très bien, mais la plage n'était pas vraiment une plage. Trop petite. Le personnel de l'hôtel a compensé cette lacune. C'était bien de pouvoir se promener dans la ville le soir. On s'y sentait en sécurité. La climatisation de la chambre était assez bruyante. J'avais besoin de bouchons d'oreille pour dormir.

Very nice resort The Hotel was great, however the beach was not much of a beach. Too small. The staff at the hotel made up for it though. It was nice that you could walk around the town in the evening. It felt safe. The A/C in the room was quite noisy. I needed earplugs to sleep.

Barcelo Puerto Vallarta: Magnifique centre de villégiature !!!

Le complexe est magnifique. Les restaurants, en particulier le restaurant "Don Quiote", étaient 5 étoiles. Nous n'avons jamais eu faim car il y avait de la nourriture délicieuse à chaque coin de rue. Je ne suis pas resté assez longtemps pour tout goûter. La pizza à "Los Arcos" était aussi bonne que celle de Famosa. La suite familiale était parfaite pour moi et mes deux adolescents. Le trajet jusqu'à Mismaloya était vraiment magnifique. Le bus pour le Malecon était juste à côté de notre hôtel et  [... lire plus]coûtait moins d'un dollar pour deux personnes. Le peuple mexicain est des plus amicaux. Le seul inconvénient est que je n'ai pas reçu mes crédits de villégiature (seulement parce que j'ai dû demander) et que je n'ai pas eu la chance d'obtenir un surclassement. Je ne suis restée que 4 nuits. Le spa était fantastique. J'y retournerai sans aucun doute.

Beautiful Resort!!! The resort was beautiful. The restaurants especially "Don Quiote" Restaurant was 5 star. We never went hungry as there was wonderful food at every corner. I wasnt there long enough to sample everything. The pizza at "Los Arcos" was just like Famosa so good. The family suite was perfect for me and my two teens. The drive to Mismaloya was definately beautiful. Taking the bus to the Malecon was right outside our resort and was under a dollar for two to ride the bus. The people of Mexico are the friendliest. The only con was I didnt get my resort credits (only because I had to ask) and didnt have a chance to upgrade. I was only there for 4 nights. The spa was fantastic. I would definately go back.

Decameron Los Cocos Guayabitos Ramada: Grand centre de villégiature

La nourriture était merveilleuse Le personnel très amical et serviable Un long chemin pour aller à Puerto Vallarta mais le marché en ville était bon. Superbe endroit pour se détendre et la plage est géniale. J'y retournerai certainement et je le recommanderai à mes amis.

Great resort Food was wonderful The staff very friendly and helpful A long way to go to Puerto Vallarta but the market up town was good. Great place to relax and beach is awesome. Would certainly go back and would recommend it to my friends.

Plaza Pelicanos Club: Un bon centre de vacances pour petits budgets

L'hôtel est correct pour un voyageur à petit budget. Les chambres sont très vieilles, mais très propres et le buffet est basique, sans variété. J'aurais aimé avoir plus de nourriture mexicaine. La piscine près de la plage est correcte et très propre. La plage est petite mais correcte.

Good budget resort The resort is ok for a low budget traveller. The room are very old, but very clean and the buffet is basic food, no varieties. Would have like to have more mexican food. The pool near the beach is ok and very clean. The beach is small but ok.

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Un lieu de villégiature convivial

Excellent centre de villégiature avec de nombreux clients réguliers. Excellent emplacement avec accès facile à la ville pittoresque (20 minutes à pied) et accès au service de bus local pour se rendre soit au nord de la station, soit au sud vers Malecon/Puerto Vallarta. Plusieurs piscines au choix. Belle sélection de restaurants. De nombreuses options de restauration sont également disponibles à l'extérieur du complexe.

Friendly resort Great resort with many repeat customers. Great location with easy access to quaint town (20 minute walk) and access to local bus service for travel either north of the resort, or south to Malecon/Puerto Vallarta. Several pools to choose from. Nice selection of restaurants. Numerous dining options also available off resort.

Riu Vallarta: Un personnel propre, sympathique et travailleur

Proche de l'aéroport, personnel sympathique. Les restaurants à la carte n'ont rien d'extraordinaire. Je les ai tous essayés et j'ai quand même préféré le buffet. Le petit déjeuner y est excellent. J'ai été déçu par le wifi. Tous les autres Riu où j'ai été fournissaient le wifi dans la chambre. Au Riu Vallarta, vous ne pouviez l'utiliser que dans le hall et c'était pour une heure consécutive, même si vous l'utilisiez pendant cinq minutes, il expirait.

Clean, friendly and hardworking staff Close to the airport, friendly staff. The a la cart restuarants are nothing to die for. I tried all of them and I still prefered the buffet. Breakfast is amazing there. I was disappointed about the wifi. Every other Riu i have been to provided wifi in the room. At Riu Vallarta you could only use it in the lobby and it was for one consecutive hour even if you used it for five minutes it would expire.

Hacienda Buenaventura Hotel and Mexican Charm: Intime

L'hacienda mexicaine typique (bien que plus grande) et la décoration intérieure appropriée donnent une impression de confort. Le terrain est une oasis où l'on peut explorer la flore et la faune mexicaines. La piscine de taille décente et le jacuzzi servent bien les vacanciers. Les chambres spacieuses avec balcon donnant sur la cour permettent de se détendre en toute intimité et de savourer le café du matin, ou de passer un moment tranquille avec un livre. La variété des choix au buffet et au res [... lire plus]taurant à la carte était bonne. Le personnel aimable et désireux de faire plaisir a contribué à la bonne expérience et à l'impression générale. Une amélioration pourrait être apportée au snack-bar de la plage. La variété des aliments disponibles était médiocre et limitée.

Intimate The typical (although larger then) the Mexican hacienda with the appropriate interior decor gives a cosy feeling. Grounds provide an oasis to explore native mexican flora and fauna. Decent size pool and the jacuzzi serve the vacationers well. Spacious room with balcony facing the court yard gives opportunities to relax in private and enjoy the morning cofee, or a quiet time with a book. Variety of choices with buffet style, and a la carte restaurant was good. Friendly staff, eager to please added to overall good experience and impression. One improvement can be in the beach snack bar. Variety of available food was poor and limited.

Dreams Vallarta Bay Resort and Spa: Beautiful Resort

C'est un lieu de villégiature idéal pour les groupes de mariage. Le site est magnifique, il y a plus de restaurants qu'il n'en faut pour vous occuper (prenez le steak au restaurant français, vous ne serez pas déçu) et les chambres sont très spacieuses, toutes orientées vers l'océan. La plage n'est pas extraordinaire et lorsque nous y étions, il y avait de minuscules méduses dans l'eau, mais il y avait de nombreuses piscines et un bar de natation pour compenser.

This is a great resort for wedding groups. Beautiful grounds, more than enough restaurants to keep you busy (get the steak at the french restaurant, you wont be disappointed) and very spacious rooms, all ocean facing. The beach isn't amazing and when we were there there were tiny jellyfish in the water but there were lots of pools and a swim up bar to compensate.

Hacienda Buenaventura Hotel and Mexican Charm: excellent service

ce petit complexe offre un excellent service et est très propre. Le buffet et la nourriture de la plage étaient très bons, mais la nourriture du restaurant à la carte m'a beaucoup déçu. Le personnel était exceptionnel. Les personnes ayant des problèmes de mobilité doivent être averties, car la chambre à elle seule comporte trois niveaux.

great service this smaller resort offers great service and is very clean. The buffet and the beach food was very good but very disappointed in the food at the al carte restaurant. The staff was exceptional. Anyone who has mobility issues should be warned, the room alone had 3 levels.

Riu Flamingos: Génial !

Tout était parfait. Nous y retournerons. Lisa était géniale, tout ce qu'elle a dit s'est réalisé. La chambre était superbe, avec une vue intérieure sur la cour. La nourriture au buffet était excellente, un grand choix, je n'ai vraiment rien à redire.

Awesome! Everything was great. Will go back. Lisa was awesome, everything she said came true. The room was great, had an interior view of the court yard. Food at the buffet was great, a huge selection, really have no complaints.

Plaza Pelicanos Club: Excellent pour le prix

Les gens étaient sympathiques, le terrain était bien entretenu, les chambres étaient très propres et la plage était juste à un jet de pierre.....tout ce dont nous avions besoin a été immédiatement pris en compte....il y avait un trajet en taxi de 6 $ vers Old Town, où nous sommes allés plusieurs fois.....le complexe a rempli sa fonction pour nous....nous avons payé environ 900 $ par personne, tout compris, et nous étions là pour le Super Bowl....il n'y a pas mieux !!!

Excellent for the Price The people were friendly, grounds were kept nicely, rooms were very clean, and the beach was just a stones throw away.....anything we needed was immediately addressed....it was a $6 cab ride to Old Town which is where we went several times.....the resort served its purpose for us....we paid approx. $900. a person inclusive and was there for the Super Bowl....doesn't get much better than that!!

Sunscape Puerto Vallarta: Un moment extraordinaire !

Mon ami, mon fils et moi-même y sommes allés. Nous avons passé un moment fabuleux ! Superbe emplacement, propre, la nourriture était très bonne, nous nous sommes sentis en sécurité, le personnel était merveilleux. Mon fils avait 9 ans, c'était son premier voyage et il a adoré ! Nous y séjournerons à nouveau !

Amazing time! My boyfriend, son and I went. What a fabulous time we had! Great location, clean, food was very good, felt very safe, wonderful staff. My son was 9 and it was his first trip and he loved it! We would stay there again!

Riu Vallarta: Bon endroit

Un très bon endroit tout compris. La meilleure partie était le personnel, mais tout le reste était génial. Les spectacles, les restaurants, la scène.... c'est l'ensemble. Je recommande vivement cet endroit à tous ceux qui vont à Vallarta.

Good place A very good all inclusive spot. The best part about it was the staff, but everything else was great. The shows, restaurants, scenery.... it's the total package. I highly recommend this place to anyone going to Vallarta.

Melia Puerto Vallarta: Nice Resort

Nous avons adoré la piscine et le fait que l'on puisse se baigner plus tard dans la soirée. Les buffets étaient très variés. Nous aurions aimé que le service en chambre soit compris dans notre forfait, ainsi que quelques autres petites choses. Les chambres auraient pu être un peu plus propres et plus modernes.

We loved the pool and the fact that you could swim later into the evening. The buffet's had a great variety of good foods. We wished that the room service was covered in our package, as well as a few other little things. The rooms could have also been a bit cleaner and more modern.

Costa Club Punta Arena: Excellente situation !

Au début, cet hôtel nous a semblé très daté, voire effrayant lorsque nous avons vu la salle à manger qui ressemblait plus à une cafétéria dans un refuge pour sans-abri qu'à ce que l'on pourrait attendre d'une salle à manger d'hôtel. Cela dit, une fois le choc initial passé, je dois dire que la salle à manger, bien qu'elle ait désespérément besoin d'être rénovée, proposait un grand choix de plats et le personnel était l'un des meilleurs que nous ayons jamais eus... et nous avons beaucoup voyagé c [... lire plus]es dernières années. Le personnel a même pris le temps de m'aider à apprendre une nouvelle phrase en espagnol chaque jour, car il savait que j'étais intéressé par l'apprentissage. La chambre, bien que datant d'un certain temps, était très propre et grande. Elle comprenait un salon, une salle à manger, une cuisine et une pièce extérieure avec un endroit pour rincer et suspendre les vêtements pour qu'ils sèchent. Notre unité comprenait également deux chambres et un balcon donnant sur la piscine. L'air conditionné était excellent et l'eau était chaude et abondante. L'emplacement de l'hôtel est superbe et il est très facile de se rendre à pied en ville. Le terrain de l'hôtel se trouve directement sur la plage et à côté d'un lagon peuplé d'une faune abondante, y compris d'énormes iguanes. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et rencontré beaucoup de gens sympathiques. Je recommanderais sans hésiter cet hôtel à tout le monde... mais sachez que la salle à manger ne sera probablement pas ce à quoi vous êtes habitués.

Great Location! At first; this hotel seemed very dated; scarey in fact when we first saw the dining room which was more like a cafeteria in a homeless shelter than what you might expect of a hotel dining room. Having said that and after the initial shock wore off, I have to say that the dining room although in desperate need of updating, had a great selection of food and the staff was among the best we've ever had...and we've travelled a bit in recent years. The staff even took the time to help me learn a new spanish phrase each day, because they knew of my interest in learning. The room although dated was very clean and large and actually consisted of a livingroom, diningroom, kitchen with an outside adder room with a place to rinse out and hang your clothes to dry. Our unit also consisted of two bedrooms and a balcony overlooking the pool area. The air conditioning was great and the water was hot and ample. The location of the hotel is superb and within very easy walking distance of town. We went down to the Malecon most mornings.The hotel grounds were directly on the beach and also beside a lagoon which was populated with an abundance of wildlife including huge iguanas. We had a great time and met many nice people. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone... just be forwarned that the dining area will probably not be what you are used to.

Sheraton Buganvilias Puerto Vallarta Hotel: Bien plus que ce que nous attendions

Nous avons bénéficié d'un véritable forfait tout compris dans ce complexe de première classe. Notre chambre offrait une vue spectaculaire sur la baie. La nourriture était excellente et comprenait 3 spectacles en plein air et des buffets. Très propre et magnifiquement entretenu. La vieille ville est accessible à pied. Bonne sécurité.

Much more than we expected We enjoyed an truly all-inclusive package to this first class resort. Had a spectacular view of the bay from our room. Great food included 3 special live entertainment open air shows and buffets. Very clean and beautifully maintained. Walking distance to the old town. Good security.
