Bahia Principe Escape Samana: Complexe réservé aux adultes, confortable et doté d'une superbe zone de baignade dans l'océan. Il ne s'agit pas d'un établissement 5 étoiles et, en raison du faible taux d'occupation, de nombreux bars et restaurants étaient fermés. Il y a également beaucoup d'escaliers dans tout le complexe.

L'enregistrement a été terrible. Notre groupe comptait 28 personnes, et comme nous étions les premiers à monter dans le bus, nous étions les derniers à en descendre. Nous avons attendu plus d'une heure avant d'être enregistrés, sans qu'aucun rafraîchissement ne nous soit proposé, et le restaurant était fermé. Lorsque nous sommes finalement arrivés à la réception, on nous a dit que, bien que nous ayons réservé une chambre avec deux lits doubles, on nous avait attribué une chambre "king". Après un [... lire plus]e si longue attente, c'était inacceptable. Sachant que l'hôtel n'était pas à pleine capacité, nous avons demandé à ce que le problème soit résolu immédiatement. Rosa, un peu à contrecœur, a disparu pendant près de 30 minutes avant de nous donner une chambre avec deux lits doubles. Dans l'ensemble, nous étions satisfaits de la chambre. La propreté était tout juste acceptable - les sols et la salle de bain étaient à peine propres, et ce niveau bas s'est maintenu tout au long de la semaine. Les draps étaient tachés et les serviettes usées. Nous nous attendions à un hôtel 5 étoiles, mais une fois que nous nous sommes adaptés à une expérience 3 étoiles, tout nous a semblé plus raisonnable. Notre chambre, située au bout du couloir au 3ème étage, était longue à parcourir mais très calme avec une belle vue sur l'océan. Les escaliers ne nous ont pas dérangés, mais le fait que le bar de la plage soit fermé et qu'il faille marcher jusqu'au bar de la piscine à chaque fois n'était pas très pratique. Seuls le buffet et les deux restaurants à la carte étaient ouverts. Bien que cela soit compréhensible étant donné le faible taux d'occupation, il aurait été agréable d'avoir au moins le bar de la plage ouvert pour un service limité pendant la journée. Dans l'ensemble, je reviendrais. On ne peut pas contrôler les clients inconsidérés qui réservent des chaises avec des serviettes malgré les panneaux, mais il y avait heureusement beaucoup d'autres endroits où s'asseoir. J'ai également été surpris par le nombre de personnes qui utilisaient un téléphone à haut-parleur dans la salle à manger et dans d'autres lieux publics - c'est impoli, mais ce n'est pas quelque chose que l'hôtel peut facilement gérer. La plupart des membres du personnel étaient formidables. Rosa à la réception était difficile à gérer, mais le barman du hall était formidable. La musique du hall était également trop forte et aurait été bien plus agréable s'il s'agissait de salsa, de bachata ou de quelque chose d'amusant et de vivant.

Adults-only, cozy resort with a great ocean swimming area. It’s definitely not a 5-star property, and with low occupancy many bars and restaurants were closed. There are also lots of stairs throughout the resort. Check-in was terrible. Our group had 28 people, and because we were the first on the bus, we were the last off. We waited over an hour to be checked in, with no refreshments offered, and the restaurant was closed. When we finally reached the front desk, we were told that despite booking a room with two double beds, we were assigned a king room. After such a long wait, this was unacceptable. Knowing the resort wasn’t at capacity, we asked for it to be addressed immediately. Rosa, somewhat begrudgingly, disappeared for nearly 30 minutes before eventually giving us a room with two double beds. We were happy with the room overall. Cleanliness was just okay—the floors and bathroom were only marginally clean, and this low standard remained throughout the week. The sheets were stained, and the towels were worn. We arrived expecting a 5-star hotel, but once we adjusted our mindset to a 3-star experience, everything felt more reasonable. Our room, located near the end of the hall on the 3rd floor, was a long walk but very quiet with a beautiful ocean view. The stairs didn’t bother us, but having the beach bar closed and needing to walk up to the pool bar each time was inconvenient. Only the buffet and two rotating à la carte restaurants were open. While understandable given the low occupancy, it would have been nice to have at least the beach bar open for limited daytime service. Overall, I would return. You can’t control the inconsiderate guests who reserve chairs with towels despite the signs, though fortunately there were plenty of alternative spots to sit. It was also surprising how many people used speakerphone in the dining room and other public areas—rude, but not something the hotel can easily manage. Most of the staff were great. Rosa at the front desk was difficult to deal with, but the lobby bartender was amazing. The lobby music was also too loud and would have been much more enjoyable if it were salsa, bachata, or something fun and lively.

Bahia Principe Explore La Romana: D'excellentes vacances en famille

L'hôtel disposait de tous les équipements nécessaires à une famille. La piscine était immense et mes petites-filles et leur père y étaient tous les jours, avec un bar au bord de la piscine pour les boissons. Les eaux de la plage étaient un peu difficiles à pénétrer car il y avait de petits cailloux et ensuite des creux d'environ 2 pieds, ce qui rendait le retour au rivage un peu difficile. Les chaussures d'eau sont recommandées. Nos chambres étaient côte à côte, elles étaient grandes et le [... lire plus]s lits confortables. La nourriture était très variée et satisfaisait tous les palais. Les divertissements nocturnes étaient formidables !!!!

Great Family Vacation Resort had all the amenities that a family would enjoy. Pool was huge and my granddaughters and their father were in the pool everyday, with a poolside bar for drinks. Beach waters were a little difficult to enter as there were small pebbles and then dips down about 2 feet, which made it a little difficult to walk back to shore. Water shoes recommended. Our rooms were side by side, and room was large, comfortable beds. Food too much to select from that would satisfy any pallet. Nightly entertainment was awesome!!!!

Tripcentral let me down The resort/service/location/transportation were all outstanding. We enjoyed our trip immensely. However, the process of making dinning reservations was never explained or highlighted to us. We were unable to make a single reservation at one of the many dinning options after we arrived. Completely booked for the entire week. Although the buffet was quite nice we feel we missed out on so much We feel Tripcentral agents should have advised, no STRESSED to us, the ability and importance of making reservations in advance.

Bahia Principe Explore La Romana: Complexe touristique exceptionnel

Le domaine était si paisible. J'ai adoré me promener le matin dans les grandes allées, bordées de palmiers de chaque côté. J'ai particulièrement apprécié les promenades nocturnes, lorsque tous les palmiers étaient éclairés par le bas. Le hall d'entrée était magnifique et comportait de nombreuses tables et chaises où l'on pouvait s'asseoir pour regarder les spectacles ou jouer aux cartes avec un verre à portée de main. Les toilettes publiques étaient toujours entretenues et propres. Les sall [... lire plus]es à manger et le buffet étaient toujours propres, la propreté étant une priorité absolue ici, dès qu'un client quittait sa table, celle-ci était nettoyée immédiatement. La piscine était immense et il y avait suffisamment d'espace pour trouver une chaise et nager. Il y avait des animations toute la journée à la piscine, et si vous vouliez quitter la piscine, il y avait une plage de sable propre avec du volley-ball, du football et de nombreuses chaises sous les parasols des palmiers. La plage est un peu trouble à cause du sable qui bouge en permanence, mais l'eau est claire, ne vous y trompez pas. L'eau descend rapidement jusqu'à 3 pieds. Nous avons passé la plupart de notre temps à marcher sur la plage ou à la piscine, et pas beaucoup de temps dans l'océan. L'avantage de cette plage est qu'elle se trouve dans une baie et qu'il y a peu de vagues et qu'elle était généralement calme.

Amazing Resort The grounds were so peaceful. I loved my morning walk through the grounds and the big walkways, lined with palm trees on either side. I especially loved walking the grounds at night where all the palm trees were lit up from the bottom. The lobby was beautiful and had plentiful amount of tables and chairs where you could sit and watch the entertainment or play a game of cards with a drink on hand. The public rest rooms were always maintained and clean. The dining rooms and the buffet were always clean, cleanliness was top priority here, as soon as a guest left the table it was cleaned immediately. The pool was huge and plenty of space to find a chairs and room to swim. There was entertainment all day at the pool, and if you wanted to leave the pool there was a clean sandy beach with volleyball, soccer and plenty of chairs under the palm tree umbrellas. The beach is a little murky because of the sand that is always moving, but the water is clear so don't be fooled. It drops off quickly and goes down to 3' right away. Most of the time we spent either walking the beach or at the pool, not too much time in the ocean. The good thing about this beach is that it is in a bay and there are few waves and was mostly calm.

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Un endroit fantastique pour les familles avec de jeunes enfants

Ce centre de villégiature était absolument génial si vous êtes une famille avec des enfants de moins de 12 ans. Entre le parc aquatique de Coba et celui de Tulum, il y avait toujours quelque chose à faire pour les enfants. Ajoutez à cela le nombre incroyable d'activités pour enfants et les divertissements, nos enfants étaient constamment excités et en train de jouer. Le buffet était lui aussi absolument incroyable pour un complexe hôtelier, avec une grande variété et un grand choix à chaque repa [... lire plus]s. Le seul inconvénient est probablement la distance qui sépare ce complexe de l'aéroport (plus d'une heure de route). Je vous conseille donc vivement de réserver un transfert privé si vous pouvez vous le permettre. Je ne choisirais pas ce complexe si je n'étais pas avec mes enfants, mais si vous êtes en famille, vous ne pouvez pas vous tromper avec Bahia Principe.

Fantastic place for families with younger kids This resort was absolutely amazing if you are a family with kids under 12. Between the water park at Coba, plus the one on site at Tulum, there was always something for the kids to do. Couple that with the amazing number of activities for kids, and the entertainment, our kids were constantly excited and playing. The buffet food was also absolutely incredible for a resort, with some great variety and choices at every meal. Probably the only downside is how far away this resort is from the airport (over an hour drive) so I would highly advise booking a private transfer if you can afford it. I would not choose this resort if I wasn't with my kids, but if you're with family you can't go wrong with Bahia Principe.

Le complexe Bahia Principe Akumal était excellent, en grande partie grâce à l'excellent service à la clientèle (Miguel, Francesco, Ricardo, Eddie et Caroline - merci !). Les chambres rénovées, les piscines et les plages sont incroyables. La nourriture dans les restaurants était excellente et savoureuse ! Nous recommandons vivement ce centre de villégiature !

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au Grand Bahia Principe Tulum ! Nous avons voyagé avec un enfant et deux personnes âgées. Le terrain était bien entretenu et l'avantage d'avoir accès aux autres hôtels était génial, y compris les chariots.

Beautiful, family friendly resort! We had a wonderful time at Grand Bahia Principe Tulum! Travelled with 1 child, and 2 seniors. The grounds were well kept & the perk of having access to the other hotels was great, including the trolleys.

Les bâtiments de l'hôtel et l'aménagement paysager sont tout à fait charmants. La nourriture était très bonne, en particulier le restaurant de gournet français. Le personnel était sympathique et serviable. La chambre était grande et assez confortable. Les piscines étaient propres et pittoresques. La plupart des jours, il y avait des places libres aux piscines le matin, mais seulement quelques-unes plus tard dans la journée. La plage était très belle mais l'eau était trouble en raison du débit [... lire plus] de la rivière voisine et n'était donc pas idéale pour la plongée avec masque et tuba, à moins d'être à l'extrémité est de la baie où l'eau était plus claire. Il y avait beaucoup de poissons variés, mais le fond n'était pas très beau. Dans l'ensemble, nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances et nous envisagerions certainement d'y retourner. Voici quelques points qui auraient pu rendre nos vacances encore meilleures : 1. Le ménage n'était pas toujours régulier. La chambre n'a pas été nettoyée un jour et a été nettoyée deux fois un autre jour. 2. Les restaurants avaient des petits panneaux en anglais et en espagnol pour identifier les plats. Le problème est que, très souvent, ils n'indiquent pas le bon aliment à l'endroit où ils sont placés ou indiquent deux choses, mais une seule est à cet endroit. Certains aliments n'étaient pas signalés du tout. Il serait utile que ces panneaux soient plus cohérents et plus précis. 3. Les réservations spéciales dans les restaurants étaient disponibles pour les personnes qui étaient au courant avant le début des vacances, de sorte que certains restaurants étaient complets pour la semaine lorsque nous sommes arrivés. Ceux qui n'étaient pas au courant des réservations anticipées se sont retrouvés avec un choix limité. Il serait plus juste que les réservations ne soient accessibles qu'à partir de l'enregistrement physique à l'hôtel.

Very nice vacation The hotel buildings and landscaping are quite lovely. The food was very good especially the French gournet restaurant. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was large and quite comfortable. The pools were clean and picturesque. Most days there were open seats at the pools in the morning but only a few later in the day. The beach was very nice but the water was cloudy due to the nearby river flow so not great for snorkelling unless you were at the east end of the bay where the water was clearer. There were lots of varied fish there although the bottom was not particularly pretty. Overall, we had a very nice vacation and would definitely consider returning again. Here are a couple of points that would have made our vacation even better: 1. Housekeeping was occasionally inconsistent. The room was not cleaned on one day and cleaned twice on another day. 2. The restaurants had small signs in English and Spanish to identify the foods. The problem was that, quite often, they were not indicating the correct food where they were placed or indicated two things but only one was at that location. Some things had no sign at all. It would help if this was more consistent and accurate. 3. The special restaurant reservations were available to people who knew before the start of the vacation so some restaurants were fully booked for the week when we arrived. Those who did not know about the early booking were left with limited choices. It would be fairer if the booking was only available to people starting when they check-in physically to the hotel.

Nous avons apprécié notre séjour dans ce centre de villégiature. Le personnel est extraordinaire ! Ils ont compensé les lacunes par leur attention et leur attitude positive. Italia et Isobel nous ont aidés lorsque je me suis foulé la cheville. Ces dames sont allées au-delà de ce qui était nécessaire pour s'assurer que j'étais bien soignée et à l'aise. Elles ont vraiment été merveilleuses. Les spectacles nocturnes étaient excellents et la plupart des repas à la carte étaient délicieux. J'a [... lire plus]i apprécié les piscines et l'entrée progressive dans l'une d'entre elles était nécessaire et appréciée. Les chambres ont besoin d'être rénovées, tout comme le hall d'entrée. Les trolleys pour la plage étaient réguliers mais la distance et le temps qu'ils prennent me décourageraient d'y retourner. La zone de plage désignée pour ce complexe n'est pas adaptée à la baignade sans chaussures d'eau, mais le bar de la plage est tout à fait charmant. Dans l'ensemble, il s'agit d'un bon hôtel 4 étoiles pour les adultes plus tranquilles et d'âge mûr.

Nice Holiday We enjoyed our stay at this resort. The staff here is amazing! They made up for the short comings with their caring and positive attitudes. Both Italia and Isobel helped us when I sprained my ankle. These ladies went beyond what was necessary to ensure that I was well cared for and comfortable. They truly were wonderful. The nightly shows were excellent and most of the a la carte meals were delicious. I enjoyed the pools and the gradual entry into one was needed and appreciated. The rooms need updating as does the lobby area. The trolleys to the beach were regular but the distance and time it takes would discourage me from returning. The beach area designated for this resort was not suitable for swimming without water shoes but the beach bar was quite lovely. Overall it is a good 4 star resort suitable for quieter, mature adults.

Bahia Principe Escape Bouganville: Paradis

Mon ami et moi n'étions jamais allés en République dominicaine. Nous avons vécu une expérience incroyable au Bahia Principe. Le personnel est incroyable, les chambres et le complexe sont impeccables et la nourriture est incroyable. Les animations quotidiennes au bord de la piscine et les animations nocturnes font de cet hôtel un lieu de villégiature parfait.

Paradise My boyfriend and I had never been to the Dominican Republic. We had the most unbelievable experience at the Bahia Principe. The staff are unbelievable, the rooms and resort spotless and the food was incredible. Daily entertainment pool side and nightly entertainment make this the perfect resort.

C'est la deuxième fois en 6 mois que nous allons à Aquamarine. Nous l'apprécions beaucoup. Les chambres sont superbes et propres. La nourriture est excellente et il y a beaucoup de choix. Le personnel est sympathique et serviable. Nous avons passé notre temps à la piscine et nous nous sommes bien détendus. Le temps était superbe.

We love Aquamarine Second time in 6 months that we’ve gone to Aquamarine. We enjoy it quite a bit. Rooms are great and clean. Great food with lots of selection. Staff is friendly and helpful. We spent our time at the pool and had a fun relaxing time. Weather was great.

Incredible place This hotel was incredible! we had the best time every day. The staff was absolutely amazing, the food was great and the grounds were clean . We loved swimming in the pools and the trollys to get around the resort were so appreciated

La plage aurait pu être un peu plus claire, mais dans l'ensemble, ce fut un voyage fantastique et nous y retournerons sans hésiter.

Excellent resort and staff! From the moment we stepped into the lobby, the atmosphere felt luxurious. The food was exceptional, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. While the beach could have been a bit clearer, overall it was a fantastic trip, and we would absolutely return.

Excellente situation après un trajet de 80 minutes depuis l'aéroport de Punta Cana. Belle propriété, tout à proximité à proximité. Great location after a 80 minute ride from Punta Cana airport. Beautiful property, everything close by. Helpful and friendly staff, Buffet and the A La Carte restaurants were also very good. Pool by the beach was a hit with the swim up bar. The only drawback was the sea…(unfortunately a river runs into the bay and turns the water murky.) More like a lake.
