Iberostar Waves Costa Dorada: Grand centre de villégiature

La nourriture était très bonne, les chambres étaient agréables, la plage était belle, les divertissements nocturnes étaient excellents, le personnel était très serviable. Nous avons trouvé que les excursions quotidiennes devenaient assez chères. Le hall d'entrée était très attrayant. Un jour, ils ont fait un super déjeuner de paella sur la plage qui était super.

Great Resort Food was very good, rooms were nice, good beach, great nightly entertainment. staff were very helpful. We found the daily excursions getting quite expensive. Lobby was very attractive. One day they did a great paella lunch on the beach which was great.

Le centre de villégiature était convenable. La plage et le terrain étaient magnifiques. Le wifi était médiocre et, à notre époque, il est nécessaire. J'avais besoin de rester en contact avec ma famille et j'ai eu du mal. La nourriture était correcte, nous n'avons jamais eu de problème pour trouver quelque chose que nous aimions. L'alcool était bon marché et nous avons fini par nous rendre en ville pour acheter de l'alcool de meilleure qualité, ce qui va à l'encontre de l'objectif d'un hôtel tout [... lire plus] compris. Le personnel parlait très peu l'anglais et certains n'étaient pas du tout amicaux. La chambre était vieillotte et la douche était horrible. Nous avons passé des vacances correctes dans ce complexe, mais nous n'y reviendrons probablement pas.

Decent Resort The resort was decent. Beach and grounds were amazing. The wifi was mediocre and in this day and age it is needed. I was needing to keep in contact with family and had a hard time. The food was decent, never had a problem finding something we like. Alcohol was cheap and we ended up walking into town to buy better alcohol which defeats the purpose of an all inclusive. The staff spoke very little english and some were not very friendly at all. Room was dated and the shower was horrible. We had a decent holiday at this resort but likely would not return.

Blue Bay Villas Doradas: Excellantl Resort

Tout ce qui concerne le Blue Bay est formidable. La nourriture, y compris la variété, la plage, les piscines, les terrains et le service sont sans égal. Everything about the Blue Bay is great. The food, including variety, the beach, swimming pools, grounds, and the service was second to none. Staff were very friendly, bartenders knew what they were doing as the drinks were made properly. Maid service kept the room spotless and they were very friendly. Entertainment was very good. No complaints about this resort whatsoever. Stayed a week, but am going back for at least 10 days. Thank you Blue Bay for a great vacation.

Blue Bay Villas Doradas: NE REVIENDRAIT PAS

Ma chambre a été inondée par 10 cm d'eau, j'ai dû déménager le lendemain après y avoir passé 8 jours sur 10. Le personnel a rendu notre séjour agréable (sauf le comptoir de la réception), ils étaient 32 dans notre groupe. Je ne recommanderais pas ce complexe à mes clients à l'avenir.

WOULDN'T RETURN My room room flooded with 4 inches of water, had to move the next day after being there 8 days out of my 10. The staff made our stay (except reception counter), they're were 32 in our group. I wouldn't recoomand this resort to clients going forward.

VH Gran Ventana Beach Resort: C'était "correct", il y a eu mieux

J'ai été à Cuba, à Punta Cana et dans toute l'Amérique du Nord, et je ne me considère pas comme quelqu'un de difficile ou d'exigeant. Je ne me considère pas comme quelqu'un de pointilleux ou d'exigeant. L'AVANTAGE : L'hôtel, les chambres et la plage étaient propres, la nourriture était bonne, Kerin à la réception était très serviable et amicale. Si vous n'aimez pas les fêtes et les gens ivres, ce complexe est fait pour vous, car il est familial et la discothèque n'est pas sur le site. Il y a mêm [... lire plus]e un bâtiment qui a sa propre piscine, son propre bar et son propre snack-bar, donc si vous voulez des vacances tranquilles et détendues, demandez une chambre là-bas. INCONVÉNIENTS : Nous avons opté pour la formule premium et j'ai eu l'impression que cela n'en valait pas la peine. Voici mes raisons pour la déclaration ci-dessus : Wifi illimité qui est inclus était très mauvais, et ne fonctionnait que parfois (oui, je suis conscient que les gens ne devraient pas être sur leurs téléphones), mais mon ami a dû répondre à des courriels professionnels urgents et c'était super gênant ; De plus, vous pouvez acheter le wifi pour toute la semaine pour seulement 35 $. Les autres avantages du surclassement étaient la section VIP à la plage et le surclassement de la chambre, il n'y avait jamais assez de place dans la section VIP même si nous nous levions à 6h30 pour sortir les serviettes. Nous n'avons pas été placés dans le bâtiment rénové et amélioré (Sonoma), mais dans le bâtiment Catalina et les chambres sont petites et dépassées. Une amie qui est arrivée deux jours plus tard a été placée dans le bâtiment Sonoma et sa chambre était incroyable ! Lorsque nous avons demandé un changement de chambre, cela a été difficile, et notre "concierge désigné" TONY, était très peu éduqué sur beaucoup de choses et peu fiable, comme je l'ai cité "oh oui, je préfère le bâtiment Sonoma moi-même" ... Merci Tony de ne pas nous l'avoir dit lorsque nous sommes arrivés et que vous êtes venu vérifier nos chambres ! Lorsque j'ai posé une question sur le salon VIP à l'aéroport, il m'a répondu "non non, il n'y a pas de VIP", juste un petit avertissement... Il y a bien un salon VIP mais il ne vaut pas les 25$ par personne car tout l'aéroport est climatisé et il y a le wifi gratuit. Dans l'ensemble, nous avons apprécié nos vacances, mais je ne pense pas que je reviendrai dans ce complexe. En vérité, j'ai beaucoup plus apprécié Holguin Cuba (ce qui en dit long).

It was "okay" been to better I have been to Cuba, Punta Cana and all over North America, and do not consider myself picky or high maintenance. So please take this as a well written review of the resort. UPSIDE: Resort, rooms and the beach were clean, food was good, Kerin at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. If you're not about the party and drunk people then this resort is for you, as its family based and the disco is off site. They even have a quite building that has its own pool, bar and snack bar. so if you want a quiet relaxed vacation request a room there. DOWNSIDE: We upgraded to premium package and I felt it was not worth it. Here are my reasons for the statement above: Unlimited Wifi that is included was very bad, and only worked in sometimes (yes I'm aware that people shouldn't be on their phones) however my friend did have to respond to urgent work emails and it was super inconvenient; Plus you can purchase the wifi for the whole week for only $35. The other perks of the upgrade were VIP section at the beach and room upgrade, there was never enough space in the VIP even with us getting up at 6:30am to put towels out. We were not placed in the upgraded and renovated building (Sonoma), we were placed in the Catalina building and the rooms are Small and outdated. A friend who arrived two days later was placed in the Sonoma building and her room was amazing!! When we requested a room move, it came with a struggle, and our "designated concierge" TONY, was very uneducated about many things and unreliable, as I quote him "oh ya I prefer the Sonoma building myself" ... Thanks Tony for not letting us know that when we arrived and you came to check our rooms!! when I asked about the VIP lounge in the airport he said "no no there is no VIP", just a heads up ... There is a VIP lounge but it's not worth the $25 us per person as the whole airport is air conditioned and there is free wifi. Overall we did enjoy the vacation, but I don't think I'd return to this resort. I truthfully enjoyed Holguin Cuba much more (so that says a lot).

Senator Puerto Plata Hotel: Un peu déçu

Les chambres étaient bien, il y avait beaucoup de nourriture. La très grande déception a été la plage. Les petits galets de la plage sont lâches et on s'y enfonce quand on entre dans l'eau. Il y a également un courant transversal dont il faut se méfier. Un autre sujet de préoccupation est que le Rio voisin est autorisé à utiliser ces installations à l'exception des chariots à la carte, ce qui conduit souvent à se lever très tôt pour trouver une place à la plage. J'ai séjourné plusieurs fois en R [... lire plus]épublique dominicaine au cours des dernières années. Je ne me vois pas revenir dans ce complexe.

A bit dissapointed Rooms were fine , lots of food. The very big disappointment was the beach. The small pebbles long the beach are loose and you sink in when you enter the water. There is also a cross current that you have to watch for. Another area of concern is that the nearby Rio are allowed to use these facilities with the exception of the a la carts this often lead to getting up very early to find a spot at the beach. I have been to Dominican several times over the last few years. I can not see myself returning to this resort.

VH Gran Ventana Beach Resort: Magnifique centre de villégiature !

J'ai passé un moment fantastique à VH Gran Ventana. Séjour du 29 mars au 5 avril. Beau temps. Nous avons apprécié le petit complexe. Les terrains sont bien entretenus, les chambres sont propres, la nourriture est délicieuse et très variée. Nous avons opté pour le forfait premium et cela en valait la peine. La plage privée avec service de serveur était incroyable. Les chaises/lits de plage n'ont jamais été difficiles à trouver dans la zone privée. Les chaises au bord de la piscine étaient diffici [... lire plus]les à trouver, mais nous sommes venus pour la plage, donc ce n'était pas un problème majeur pour nous. Superbe zone de plongée avec tuba juste en face de l'hôtel !

Beautiful Resort! Had a fantastic time at VH Gran Ventana. Stayed from March 29 - April 5. Beautiful weather. Enjoyed the small resort. Well kept grounds, rooms were clean, food was delicious - lots of variety. We upgraded to the premium package and it was well worth it. Private beach area with waiter service was incredible. Beach chairs/beds were never hard to find in the private area. Chairs by the pool were hard to come by, but we came for the beach so it was not a major issue on our end. Great snorkeling area right in front of the resort!

tout était bien dans ce centre de villégiature. Nous avons passé un bon moment. Le personnel était très bien, toujours heureux et en bonne communication. La nourriture était bonne. Les piscines et les terrains étaient très bien entretenus.Bien situé par rapport à l'aéroport qui se trouve à 20 minutes.Petit complexe agréable avec toutes les commodités autour de vous.Mon seul bémol est qu'il n'y avait pas de boissons internationales, comme le seigle canadien ou le baileys. good resort everything was good at this resort. We had a good time The staff were all very good and always happy and good comunication. The food was good. The pools and grounds were very well maintained.Good location from airport 20 minutes away.Nice small resort with all the ammenties around you.My only beef was there was no international drinks, like canadian rye or baileys. Would recommend this place and also go back.

VH Gran Ventana Beach Resort: Très bon voyage à VH Gran Ventana

Séjour du 4 au 11 avril 2016. Le temps était superbe. Nous avions une chambre au 3ème étage avec vue sur la piscine tranquille. Très bon emplacement pour nous car nous avons tous les deux plus de 50 ans et nous préférions la piscine tranquille. Nous y sommes restés la plupart du temps. La nourriture était très bonne. Chambres très propres et tout fonctionnait. Le buffet était bon. Nous avons toujours trouvé quelque chose à manger. Le poulet grillé au romarin au buffet de la plage était excellent [... lire plus] ! Bien qu'il y ait eu beaucoup de vendeurs sur la plage, nous n'avons pas été trop dérangés. Mais encore une fois, nous ne sommes allés sur la plage que deux fois pour prendre un bain de soleil, car nous sommes restés à la piscine tranquille. Il y a un centre commercial à 5 minutes de marche de l'hôtel. L'emplacement de l'hôtel est excellent. Pas proche de la route principale, donc pas de bruit. Les animations nocturnes étaient correctes. Ils essaient tous vraiment de faire plaisir. Jackie, à la piscine tranquille, fait un excellent "Jackie Special". Les piscines étaient toujours propres. L'aquagym était amusante. Nous n'avons pas eu à nous plaindre. Je reviendrai sans hésiter.

Very good trip at VH Gran Ventana Stayed April 4-11/16. Weather was great. Had 3rd floor room overlooking the quiet pool. Great location for us as we are both over 50 and preferred the quiet pool. Stayed there most of the time. Food was quite good. Rooms very clean and everything worked. Buffet good. Always found something to eat. The grilled chicken with rosemary down at the beach buffet was great! Although there were alot of vendors selling on the beach, we weren't bothered too much. But then again, we only were on the beach twice to sunbathe as we stayed at the quiet pool. There is a mall just a short 5 min walk from the resort. The location of the resort I felt was great. Not close to the main road so no noise. Entertainment at night was ok. They all really try very hard to please. Jackie at the quiet pool makes an awesome "Jackie Special". Pools were always clean. Water aerobics was fun. No complaints from us. I would definitely return.

Cofresi Palm Beach and Spa Resort: merveilleux centre de villégiature

Un personnel formidable ! Très sympathique ! La nourriture était bonne mais aurait pu être plus adaptée aux végétariens. Les escaliers sont un excellent entraînement. La suite junior était parfaite et très propre. Beaucoup de vagues sur la plage. Les activités étaient amusantes. Nous y retournerons !

wonderful resort Great staff! So friendly! Food was good but could have more vegetarian friendly. The stairs are a great workout. Junior suite was perfect and so clean. Lots of waves on the beach . Activities were fun. We would go again!

Nous avons séjourné trois fois dans ce complexe et n'avons jamais été déçus. Le personnel est courtois et amical. Les activités sont amusantes. Les animations sont excellentes. La plage est agréable. La nourriture est bonne, et les restaurants spécialisés sont excellents. Les services de bar sont de premier ordre. Le terrain est magnifique et bien entretenu. Les chambres sont bien et très propres. Les inconvénients de l'hôtel sont une connexion Internet douteuse et un taux de change médiocre - i [... lire plus]l arrive fréquemment que la réception ne puisse pas changer les billets américains ou canadiens. Nous avions demandé une chambre à l'étage plusieurs mois à l'avance, mais nous n'avons pu obtenir qu'une chambre au rez-de-chaussée lorsque nous nous sommes plaints (petite déception), bien qu'elle ait un grand lit et une vue sur l'océan. Pas de problème pour obtenir une chaise à la plage (mais l'aide du personnel pour les déplacer semble avoir diminué par rapport aux années précédentes). Les chaises au bord de la piscine sont difficiles à obtenir, car les clients semblent les accaparer très tôt (un changement ennuyeux par rapport aux années précédentes).

Consistantly good location, excellent vacation, We have stayed at this resort three times and have never been dissapointed. The staff are courteous and friendly. Activities are fun. Entertainement is excellent. The beach is nice. Food is fine, and speciality restaurants are excellent. Bar services are top tier. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. The rooms are fine, and kept very clean. On the down side is a sketchy internet, and poor currency exchange- they frequently cannot change US or Canadian bills at the front desk. We requested a upper floor room months in advance, but a ground floor room was all we could seem to get when complained (a minor dissapointment), though it did have a king sized bed and ocean view. No problem getting a chair at the beach, (but staff assistance to move them seems to have declined from previous years). Pool side chairs are difficult to obtain, as guests seem to hoard them early (an annoying change from earlier years).

La salle à manger était excellente, le service était également très bon. Les chambres sont médiocres, les lits causent des maux de dos constants, la climatisation ne fonctionne pas bien et les nuits sont trop chaudes pour dormir, les salles de bains ne sont même pas proches d'un hôtel 4,5 étoiles. Beaucoup trop petites et mon mari et moi nous sommes blessés aux pieds car la porte de la salle de bain s'ouvre sur les toilettes. Le personnel est très agréable mais la communication était presque imp [... lire plus]ossible, j'ai développé une diarrhée 3 jours sur 7 après avoir mangé dans la salle à manger principale. La plus grande déception pour nous a été la mauvaise plongée avec masque et tuba en raison de l'eau trouble et de la sollicitation des locaux sur la plage. Nous n'avons pas pu nous promener tranquillement sur la plage car nous étions constamment harcelés par des gens qui essayaient de nous vendre quelque chose.

Disappointing Dining area was excellent, service was also very good. Rooms are poor, beds caused constant back pain, air conditioning didn't work well and nights were too hot to sleep, the bathrooms are not even close to a 4.5 star hotel. Much too small and both my husband and I suffered injuries to our feet as the bathroom door opens into the toilet. Staff are very pleasant but communication was mostly impossible, I developed diarrhea 3 days of 7 after eating in main dining area. The biggest disappointment to us was the poor snorkeling due to rough and murky water and the locals soliciting on the beach. We were unable to walk the beach in peace as we were harassessed constantly by people trying to sell us something.

Good not great Beaches are beautiful however rooms are the worst I've seen they need some updates and work done to them. Overall the resort is not that bad. Food was very repetitive so you get really sick of it fast.

Dans l'ensemble, un très bel hôtel. La plage était très venteuse, nous sommes donc restés à la piscine la plupart du temps. Le service était très bon et l'équipe d'animation essayait toujours de vous tenir en haleine et de vous faire participer.

Very nice Overall a very nice hotel. The beach was very windy So we stayed at the pool the majority of the time. Service was very good and the animation team was always trying to keep you emtertained and engaged.

Le terrain était superbe ; il n'était pas trop grand et tout était facilement accessible. Le personnel est fantastique et amical, l'équipe de divertissement était particulièrement agréable à fréquenter. Les divertissements nocturnes étaient parfois aléatoires, mais dans l'ensemble, j'ai été diverti ! Le restaurant propose une bonne variété de plats et je n'ai pas ressenti le besoin de réserver un alacarte. Cependant, les vins de la maison étaient de piètre qualité, nous avons donc acheté de bell [... lire plus]es bouteilles abordables à l'occasion. Le front de mer était magnifique et il y avait toujours beaucoup de chaises disponibles, quelle que soit l'heure de la journée. Pour un bon rapport qualité-prix, j'y retournerais !

Great bang for your buck!! The grounds were great; not too big so everything was easily accessible. Fantastic and friendly staff, the entertainment crew were particular fun to hang around with. The nightly entertainment was hit and miss some night but all in all I was entertained! They offered a good variety of food and I didn't feel the need to book an alacarte. However the house wines were poor quality so we purchase some lovely and affordable bottles on occasion. The beachfront was lovely and there were always plenty of chairs available regardless of the time of day. Dollar for value, I would go back!

Les gens étaient très sympathiques, le service était excellent, la nourriture était meilleure que la moyenne et le tour en téléphérique était génial. L'océan était magnifique et c'était amusant de regarder les bateaux de croisière arriver. Le seul problème était qu'il n'y avait plus de ketchup, si vous pouvez le croire.

Great resort The people were very friendly the service was great . the food was better than average the cable car tour was a blast. The ocean was beautiful and it was fun watching the cruise ships come in. The only issue was that they ran out if ketchup if u can believe that.

Un bel endroit... J'ai été très surpris pour un 3 1/2 étoiles... la nourriture était vraiment bonne pour moi et je suis très pointilleux... des chambres propres, des gens sympas, une plage magnifique, des spectacles et des divertissements géniaux. ... 2 min à pied de la ville qui est mint... beaucoup et beaucoup d'endroits pour manger et ils ont tout... et c'est tout bon... Je reviendrai dans cet hôtel sans hésiter.....

Hidden gem Nice place... I was very shocked for a 3 1/2 star... food was really good to me and I'm very picky... clean rooms , nice people, wicked beach, great shows and entertainment. .. 2 min walk into town which is mint... lots and lots of places to eat and the have everything. ..and it's all good... I will return to this resort in a heart beat.....
