Riu Palace Antillas: Grand centre de villégiature

Le complexe lui-même a besoin d'être rénové en profondeur. Il ne fait pas le poids face à d'autres complexes hôteliers qui ont pris le temps d'améliorer leurs standards. Les chambres sont fatiguées et la moisissure dans la baignoire n'est pas un avantage. Le lit n'était pas confortable du tout, il était bosselé et nous a causé, à moi et à ma femme, des douleurs au dos. Nous avons tous les deux fini au spa pour un massage du dos pour aider à soulager la douleur. Maintenant, le bon côté des chose [... lire plus]s, c'est que le personnel de ce complexe est exceptionnel. J'ai passé de bons moments autour de la piscine avec le personnel d'animation. Le buffet était très bon, les autres restaurants étaient très bons, le personnel excellent dans tous les domaines de la nourriture. Je reviendrais dans ce centre de villégiature, mais quelques changements devraient être apportés pour que je puisse y revenir.

Great resort The resort itself is in need of some serious renos. It fails in comparison to other resorts that have spend the time to bring their resorts up to a better standard. The rooms are tired and mold in the bathtub is not a plus. The bed was not comfortable at all, it was lumpy and cause both me and my wife back pain. we both ended up at the spa for back massage to help ease the pain. Now on the brighter side, the staff at this resort is exceptional. I had a great time around the pool with the entertainment staff. The buffet food was very good, the other restaurants where very good staff excellent in all food areas. great selection of food choice as well.. I would come back to this resort again but a few changes would have to happen in order to get my business again..

Nous avons adoré le RUI. La station était très propre, nous avons mangé à la carte tous les 7 soirs et les dîners étaient excellents. Le Wi-fi est disponible dans tout le complexe et même sur la plage (bien que l'on sache qu'il faut se débrancher pendant les vacances.) La seule chose que je dirais devoir être améliorée serait le divertissement nocturne. J'y retournerai certainement et j'aime le fait que l'aéroport ne soit qu'à 20 minutes de route.

Great resort We loved the RUI. The resort was very clean, ate at al la cartes all 7 nights and dinners were excellent. Wi-fi is available through out entire resort and even the beach (although know should unplug while on vacation.) Only thing I would say needs improvement would be night entertainment. Would go back again for sure love that only a 20minite rode from airport.

Riu Flamingos: Propre, bon service, pratique

Le terrain était très bien entretenu. Il y avait des décorations de Noël dans tout le complexe lors de notre séjour, quelques jours avant les fêtes. Le buffet était bien varié et les restaurants à la carte (premier arrivé, premier servi) avaient toujours assez de place. Notre chambre était très propre et les femmes de chambre ont toujours fourni des draps et des serviettes propres. Les toilettes publiques étaient également nettoyées régulièrement et on pouvait toujours obtenir une boisson rapide [... lire plus]ment dans n'importe quel bar de la station. Tout était très compact et facile à trouver et à atteindre.

Clean, Good Service, Convenient The grounds were maintained very well. There were Christmas decorations throughout the resort during our stay a few days before the holiday. The buffet had a good variety and the first come first serve a la carte restaurants always had enough room. Our room was very clean and the maids always provided clean sheets and towels. The public washrooms were also cleaned regularly and one could always receive a drink quickly at any of the resorts bars. Everything was very compact and easy to find and get to.

Riu Vallarta: De superbes vacances

La chambre était magnifique (suite junior, vue sur l'océan). La nourriture était vraiment bonne, bien qu'un peu répétitive. C'est un peu un centre de villégiature festif - parce que c'est petit, vous ne pouvez pas vraiment vous éloigner de la foule bruyante le soir. La plage est agréable, mais très fréquentée.

Great vacation The room was beautiful (junior suite, ocean view). The food was really good, though a bit repetitive. It is a bit of a party resort - because it’s small, you can’t really get away from the loud crowds in the evening. The beach is nice, but very packed.

Riu Playa Blanca: Excellent centre de villégiature !

Très beau complexe, super propre et moderne. Le personnel de l'hôtel était génial ! très amical et toujours en train de saluer notre groupe. La nourriture et les divertissements nocturnes étaient corrects... rien de spécial. La plage n'était pas belle mais nous avions été prévenus avant la réservation donc ce n'était pas une surprise et les piscines compensaient largement. L'hôtel est situé au milieu de nulle part, il n'y a donc pas grand-chose à faire, mais il y a des excursions pour aller à Pa [... lire plus]nama City ainsi que d'autres excursions. Dans l'ensemble, c'est un très beau complexe hôtelier.

Great resort! Very nice resort, super clean and modern. The hotel staff were awesome! very friendly and always greeting our group. The food and night entertainment was okay... nothing special. The beach wasn't nice however we were warned before booking so wasn't a surprise and the pools definitely made up for it. It's in the middle of nowhere so not much to do but they have tours to go into Panama city as well as other excursions. Over all beautiful resort.

Riu Playa Blanca: Un centre de villégiature extraordinaire.

Bel hôtel, la nourriture était excellente ! Il leur a fallu 4 jours pour remplir le bar, même après avoir mentionné 2 fois qu'il était vide. Les spectacles étaient géniaux. Un grand merci à Yeraldine et à Donal qui préparent de superbes boissons.

Amazing Resort. Beautiful hotel, food was great! Took them 4 days to refill the bar..even after mentioning it 2 times that it was empty. The shows was awesome. Special thanks to Yeraldine and Donal who makes awesome drinks.

Riu Palace Costa Rica: Superbe voyage ! !!

Nous avons absolument adoré notre séjour au Riu Palace. Tout était parfait, la nourriture était délicieuse et le personnel était exceptionnel ! J'ai été très impressionnée par la propreté de ce complexe, tout est parfaitement organisé de la minute où l'on entre jusqu'à la minute où l'on sort. Je ne me plaindrais de rien, si ce n'est que j'aurais aimé rester plus longtemps qu'une semaine ! Bravo à tous :)

Amazing trip !!! We absolutely loved our stay at the riu palace. Everything was perfect, the food was delicious and the staff were outstanding ! I was so impressed by how clean this resort was, everything is exteemly organized from the minute you walk in till the moment you leave. I would 100% stay at this resort again I have zero complaints other than wishing I would've stayed longer than a week ! Well done everyone :)

Riu Playa Blanca: Superbe station balnéaire

Le complexe est très bien entretenu et tout est propre. Il y avait un large choix de nourriture et toujours quelque chose de bon à manger. Nous avons aimé l'aspect frais des bâtiments blancs et des chambres rouges et blanches.

Awesome resort This was a very kept up resort and everything was clean. There was a wide range of food and always something great to eat. We loved the fresh look of the white buildings and the red and white rooms.

Senator Puerto Plata Hotel: Très beau centre de villégiature

Les chambres étaient agréables et propres Le terrain était très bien entretenu. Le service était excellent. La nourriture était bonne. Beaucoup de choix. Les piscines étaient belles et les employés nettoyaient toujours la piscine et les alentours.

Very nice resort The rooms were nice and clean The grounds were very well kept. The service was excellent. The food was good. Lots of choices. Pools were nice and the workers were always cleaning the pool and the surrounding area.

Riu Republica: Très bon rapport

L'hôtel était très propre et bien rangé. les divertissements étaient excellents et la nourriture était bonne, mais le restaurant était correct. Le programme quotidien était amusant et tous les assistants et animateurs étaient fantastiques. L'ensemble était vraiment très bien.

Very good Report It was very clean and tidy hotel. entertainment was great and food was good, but the restaurant was okay. Daily program was fun and all the helper and entertainer were fantastic. All together was really very good.

Riu Santa Fe: Fabulous Resort

Station magnifiquement entretenue. Beaucoup de choses à faire. Ou ne rien faire du tout et se détendre au bord de la piscine. Plusieurs piscines au choix. Beaucoup d'activités à faire si vous le souhaitez. J'ai adoré les spectacles du soir. Le restaurant buffet était mon préféré. Je reviendrai certainement.

Beautifully kept resort. Lots to do. Or do nothing at all and just relax by the pool. Many pools to choose from. Lots of activities to do if you choose to. Loved the evening shows. The buffet restaurant was my favourite. I will definitely be back.

Senator Puerto Plata Hotel: Vacances fantastiques

Je n'étais pas sûr que ce docto de vacances obtienne un bon prix plus de 3 mois à l'avance, mais c'était génial. Le personnel était serviable et courtois. Tout était propre et bien rangé. Le personnel de divertissement était amical et interactif.

Fantastic Holiday I was unsure of this holiday docto is getting a great price over 3 months in advance but it was awesome. Staff was helpful and courteous. Everything was clean and tidy. Entertainment staff was friendly and interactive.

Riu Palace Las Americas: Nous ne voulions pas partir même après 2 semaines !

Les chambres étaient superbes. Propres, modernes, élégantes avec un avec un lit confortable, une grande salle de bain et un beau balcon. Nous avions une vue incroyable sur laquelle nous aimions nous réveiller tous les matins. Nous avons également apprécié nos soirées avec les spectacles, en dansant et en prenant un dernier verre tout en regardant la Grande Ourse à l'envers :)

We didn't want to leave even after 2 weeks! The rooms were great. Clean, modern, elegant with a comfy bed, large bathroom and beautiful balcony. We had Incredible views that we loved waking up to every morning. We also ejoyed our evenings with the shows dancing and having a nightcap while staring at the upside down big dipper :)

Riu Santa Fe: Un séjour parfait à Cabo, comme toujours

Le voyage s'est déroulé comme du beurre, je n'ai eu à me plaindre de rien, depuis la réservation jusqu'au retour à la maison. J'ai pu découvrir plus de faune et de flore et les régions environnantes cette fois-ci. Un beau morceau de Mexique avec des gens extraordinaires ðŸ'ŒðŸ"

Perfect time in Cabo as always Trip went smooth like butter, could not complain about a thing from time time of booking to getting home. Experience more wildlife and surrounding areas this time. Beautiful chunk of Mexico with the most amazing people 👌🏻

Riu Santa Fe: J'adore ce centre de villégiature

On ne peut pas en dire assez sur ce centre de villégiature. C'est pourquoi cette dernière 2 semaines de vacances là-bas pour ma femme et moi était notre septième année dans une rangée et nous prévoyons de revenir l'année prochaine aussi. Nous aimons prendre le bus local pour nous rendre au centre-ville de Cabo et à la marina. La grande variété de nourriture est merveilleuse et le personnel cherche toujours à vous satisfaire. Les spectacles nocturnes sont également géniaux.

Love this resort Can’t say enough about this resort. That is why this last 2 week vacation there for my wife and I was our seventh year in a row and we plan to return next year too. We love taking the local bus to downtown Cabo and the Marina. The great variety of food is wonderful and the staff is always trying to please you.The night shows are awesome too.

Riu Reggae: Excellente station

L'hôtel était propre et le personnel très sympathique. C'était notre deuxième séjour dans ce complexe et nous y retournerons. La nourriture était géniale pas de plaintes il y avait quelque chose pour tout le monde sauf si vous êtes très pointilleux. Les alacarts étaient excellents et nous n'avons pas eu à réserver.

Excellent resort Hotel was clean staff was very friendly. This was our second time to this resort and would go back again. The food was awesome no complaints there was something for everyone unless you are very picky. The alacarts were excellent and didn’t have to make reservations.

Riu Emerald Bay: Magnifique station - nous avons adoré cet endroit !

Nous avons séjourné au 14ème étage de cet hôtel et la vue était spectaculaire ! La chambre était bien aménagée, le service de ménage était excellent (attention, accrochez votre panneau "ne pas déranger" à votre porte si vous aimez faire la grasse matinée car ils commencent à nettoyer tôt - et ils frappent), et les parties communes de l'hôtel étaient toujours impeccables. La nourriture du buffet était variée et toujours chaude - rien à redire à ce sujet. Nous avons essayé le restaurant asiatiq [... lire plus]ue et il était bon aussi - il faut savoir que c'est toujours sous forme de buffet, ce qui était un peu décevant, mais la nourriture était bonne. Nous n'avons jamais pu aller au steak house, car seules les places de 21 heures étaient disponibles lorsque nous avons essayé de réserver. Le buffet organise de toute façon une soirée à thème mexicain et c'était très bien. Le service au bar était bon - en particulier au bar du hall - ces gars sont fabuleux - mon dirty monkey avait un "art" fait avec de la sauce au chocolat. C'est une touche très agréable. Les piscines étaient un peu froides à mon goût, mais une fois qu'on s'est habitué à l'eau, c'était très bien. La plage était très propre et les vendeurs à la sauvette étaient tenus à l'écart derrière une certaine ligne sur la plage - si vous vouliez acheter leurs marchandises, vous deviez simplement traverser la corde, sinon ils ne vous dérangeaient pas. Si vous vouliez marcher sur la plage, nous sortions simplement sur le côté de la propriété et nous n'étions pas dérangés. Les spectacles en soirée étaient corrects - choisissez bien votre place car l'acoustique du théâtre n'est pas très bonne. C'est la soirée mexicaine qui nous a le plus plu. Je reviendrai certainement dans ce complexe !

Beautiful resort - we loved it there! We stayed on the 14th floor of this hotel and the view was spectacular! The room was nicely appointed, the maid service was excellent (note - hang your 'do not disturb' sign on your door if you like to sleep in because they start cleaning early - and they knock), and the common areas of the hotel were always spotless. The food in the buffet was varied and always hot - no complaints there at all. We tried the Asian restaurant and it was good as well - be aware that it is still buffet style which was a bit of a disappointment, but the food was good. We never made it into the steak house as only the 9 pm seatings were available when we tried to reserve. The buffet hosts a Mexican theme night anyways and it was great. Bar service was good - particularly the lobby bar - those guys are fabulous - my dirty monkey had "art" done in chocolate sauce on it. Very nice touch. The pools were a bit chilly for my liking, but once you got used to the water it was fine. The beach was very clean, and the beach hawkers were kept behind a certain line on the beach - if you wanted to purchase or shop their wares, you just crossed the rope, otherwise they did not bother you. If you wanted to walk the beach, we just exited at the side of the property and we were not bothered. The evening entertainment was okay - choose your seating carefully because the acoustics in the theatre are not great. We enjoyed the Mexican night the most. I would definitely return to this resort!

Riu Palace Bavaro: Riu Palace Bavaro, Punta Cana

À environ 20 minutes de l'aéroport de Punta Cana. Ce complexe est en très bon état. Aucun signe de dommages causés par l'ouragan de l'automne dernier (2017). Enregistrement facile à la réception avec un personnel sympathique. L'accès au représentant Sunwing dans le salon était toujours facile pour planifier les excursions. La nourriture était bonne au buffet et dans les multiples restaurants. Le wifi est exceptionnellement bon dans ce centre de villégiature. Il est gratuit partout dans le com [... lire plus]plexe et dans les chambres. Il y a un petit centre de fitness dans le spa si vous voulez faire de l'exercice. La plage de Bavaro a un sable blanc magnifique et vous pouvez marcher pendant des kilomètres. Le casino le plus proche ouvre à 19 heures mais il est si petit qu'il ne vaut pas la peine d'y aller. About 20 minutes from Punta Cana airport. This resort is in great condition. No signs of any hurricane damage from this past fall (2017). Easy check in at front reception with friendly staff. Access to Sunwing rep in lounge was always easy for planning excursions. Food was good at the buffet and multiple restaurants. WIFI is exceptionally good at this resort. It is free everywhere on the resort and in the rooms. There is a small fitness centre in the spa if you want to work out. Bavaro beach has beautiful white sand and you can walk for miles.The closest casino opens at 7pm but is so small it is not worth going to. All in all a great vacation location.

Riu Republica: La sécurité incendie, une préoccupation majeure

L'hôtel, les gens et la nourriture étaient excellents, mais les déchets sont incinérés à 2 km d'ici, ce qui fait que les chambres sentent le feu. Il y a eu deux nuits où les lumières de l'alarme incendie (niveau 1) se sont éteintes presque toute la nuit à l'intérieur de nos chambres et dans les couloirs des nouveaux bâtiments. Le personnel nous a dit qu'il n'y avait pas de problème. Les panaches de fumée étaient à l'extérieur de notre chambre, il était impossible de retourner dans notre chambre  [... lire plus]et d'essayer de dormir. La direction de RIU et Sunwing n'avaient aucune solution à nous proposer, si ce n'est de nous dire d'envoyer un courriel aux deux compagnies. Le courriel d'urgence de Sunwing ne nous a pas aidés, si ce n'est en nous disant que notre problème serait transmis au bureau de Toronto. Des nuits blanches et des problèmes de sécurité incendie, ce n'est pas l'idée que je me fais de bonnes vacances.

Fire Safety a Major Concern The resort, people and food were excellent but garbage is incinerated 2 kms from here causing rooms to smell like fire. There was 2 nights where the fire alarm lights (stage 1) went off most of the night inside our rooms and the hall ways of the new buildings. Staff told us "no problems". Plumes of smoke were outside our room, there was no way we could just go back to our room and try and sleep. RIU management and Sunwing had no resolve for us except telling us to email both companies. We had no assistance from the Sunwing emergency email except that our concern would be forwarded to the Toronto office. Sleepless nights and fire safety concerns is not my idea of a good vacation.
