ILS FONT QUELQUES RÉNOVATIONS MAIS LES CHAMBRES, EN PARTICULIER LES SALLES DE BAINS, DEVRAIENT ÊTRE MISES À JOUR.TRÈS PROPRE ET TOUJOURS QUELQUE CHOSE À MANGER.

AMAZING FUN RESORT THE RESORT IS AMAZING. THIS IS MY 4TH TIME TO THIS RESORT.I GO IN OCTOBER FOR THEIR OCTOBERFEST. THE STAFF IS AMAZING AND MAKE THE STAY SO MUCH FUN. THEY ARE DOING SOME RENOVATIONS BUT THE ROOMS ESPECIALLY THE BATHROOMS SHOULD BE UPDATED.VERY CLEAN AND ALWAYS SOMETHING TO EAT.

Superbe endroit, superbe plongée en apnée

J'ai visité les Caraïbes une vingtaine de fois et ce complexe est l'un des meilleurs endroits où j'ai été.... complexe 4 étoiles à proximité de La Havane, j'ai fait une excursion d'une journée et visité la vieille Havane. Wow ... Le caractère des bâtiments, les rues pavées, les bars sur les toits, la bonne nourriture ....

Great Place, Great Snorkling Been to the Carribean 20 times or so, this resort is one top places I've been too... 4 star resort with proximity to Havana, did a day trip, visited old Havana. Wow ... The character of the buildings, the cobble stone streets, the roof top bars, great food ....

Station balnéaire calme et relaxante

C'était un très beau complexe hôtelier... calme et relaxant. Le personnel, à l'exception des employés de la réception et du magasin, était très agréable. Nous avons trouvé le personnel de la réception et du magasin impoli et plus préoccupé par leurs conversations personnelles et leurs téléphones portables que par nous. La nourriture était correcte mais est devenue monotone après quelques jours. Je pense que s'ils amélioraient l'hôtel, ce serait un plus indéniable. Les chambres étaient propres et [... lire plus] le complexe lui-même était bien entretenu. Il s'agit d'une station pour une clientèle plus âgée... 40+... certainement pas une station pour les fêtards. La plage est idéale pour faire du snorkling, mais les rochers rendent l'accès à l'océan très difficile, mais une fois qu'on y est, le snorkling est extraordinaire.

Relaxing quiet resort This was a very nice resort...quiet and relaxing. The staff except for the front desk and shop workers were very pleasant. We found front desk and shop (store) staff rude and concerned more with their personal conversations and cell phones than they were with us. The food was ok but became monotonous after a couple of days. I think if they did some upgrades to the resort it would be a definite plus. The rooms were clean and the resort itself was kept clean. This is definitely a resort for an older crowd...40+...definintely not a party resort. The beach is great if you want to do snorkling, however the rocks make it very difficult to get into the ocean..but once youre in..the snorkling is amazing.

Une vue et une hospitalité extraordinaires.

J'ai adoré ma chambre avec vue sur l'océan, la meilleure que j'ai jamais eue. Le personnel fera tout ce qu'il peut pour répondre à vos demandes, j'en suis totalement satisfaite. Entouré de collines et d'une plage magnifique, cet hôtel et son personnel vous font vous sentir parfaitement à l'aise. Vous pouvez rester dans la piscine jusqu'au soir, dîner au buffet avec un pianiste ou un groupe de chanteurs locaux tous les soirs (aucun problème pour venir comme vous êtes), c'est tellement bien quand  [... lire plus]vous voulez juste faire une pause avec les règles, les engagements et l'étiquette. Beaucoup de divertissements disponibles ou simplement pour ne rien faire si vous le souhaitez. Je reviendrai très certainement si j'en ai l'occasion.

Amazing view and hospitality. I loved my ocean view room, the best I ever had. The staff will do everything they can to accommodate your request, totally satisfied with them. Surrounded by hills and gorgeous beach this hotel and staff makes you feel totally fine. Being able to stay in the swimming pool till evening, having dinner at the buffet with a piano player or local singing group every night (no problem in coming as you are), so good when you just wanna to have break from rules, commitment and etiquette. Plenty of entertainment available or just to do nothing if you will. I most certainly will return if I have the opportunity.

Détente et beauté

C'était notre deuxième séjour dans ce complexe et certainement pas le dernier.Nous voulions juste un endroit pour nous détendre et profiter du magnifique récif et nous l'avons trouvé ici.Si vous aimez la nature et aimez faire du snorkeling c'est l'endroit.La plupart du personnel (90% comme n'importe quel autre endroit vous trouverez quelques employés qui ne se soucient pas) sont très gentils et serviables,la nourriture est bonne,les divertissements étaient corrects. Relaxing and beautiful This was our second time at this resort and for sure not the last.We just wanted a place to relax and enjoy the beautiful reef and we found it here.If you like nature and enjoy snorkeling this is the place.Most of the staff (90% like any other place you will find few staff that do not care) are very nice and helpful ,food is good entertainment was OK. A place to visit for sure.

Mon endroit préféré dans le monde

Je ne peux pas dire assez de bien de cet endroit, le personnel est absolument extraordinaire, attentionné, serviable pour tout ce dont vous avez besoin. Le service est de premier ordre ! Jose, Odeitty, nos serveurs, sont les meilleurs au monde... Denise et moi, vous nous manquez beaucoup !

My favorite place in the world I can't say enough good words about this place, the staff are absolutely amazing, caring, helpful with anything you need. The service is top notch! Jose, Odeitty our bar tenders are the best guys in the world..Denise and I miss you guys big time!

Superbe plongée en apnée !

C'était notre première visite dans ce complexe, mais notre 9ème séjour à Cuba. La plage n'est pas une grande plage de promenade comme nous en avons vu ailleurs, mais le récif corallien juste en face est la raison pour laquelle nous y sommes allés. Depuis la plage, nagez environ 200 mètres tout droit et vous arriverez à un mur de corail de 30 pieds dans une eau cristalline. Il y a beaucoup de poissons de toutes les couleurs possibles et imaginables. Le terrain est très bien entretenu et méticuleu [... lire plus]sement soigné. Il n'y a qu'une seule piscine, donc ne vous attendez pas à des cascades et à des bars de nage, mais elle est très propre et il y a aussi deux jacuzzis. Le buffet était un buffet cubain standard, sans surprise. Idem pour les deux restaurants. Le Ranchon de la plage était agréable avec du poulet et du poisson grillés et du porc entier rôti une fois par semaine. La chambre était très propre et bien entretenue. Comme le complexe a été créé en 1999, le seul signe d'usure est la salle de jeux qui mériterait d'être rénovée. Le complexe est construit dans une baie avec des collines sur trois côtés, ce qui fait un joli contraste avec l'océan en face. Nous adorons nager et nous y retournerions n'importe quand. Le personnel est très aimable et poli.

Great snorkelling!! This was our first visit to this resort but our 9th time to Cuba. The beach isn't a great walking beach like we have seen elsewhere, however the coral reef right in front is why we went there. From the beach swim about 200 yards straight out and you come to a 30 foot wall of coral in chrystal clear water. Lots of fish of every colour you can imagine. The grounds are very mature and meticulously cared for. There is just one pool so don't expect waterfalls and swim up bars but it is very clean and 2 jacuzzis as well. The buffet was standard Cuban, no surprises one way or another. Ditto for the 2 restaurants. The beach Ranchon was nice with great grilled chicken and fish and roasted whole pork once a week. The room was very clean and well maintained. As the resort started in 1999 the only sign of wear and tear was the games room which could use a reno. The resort is built in a bay with hills on 3 sides so it made a nice contrast with the ocean in front. We love swimming and would go back anytime. Staff are very friendly and polite.

Il n'y avait pas trop de monde, il y avait toujours beaucoup de place sur la plage à tout moment de la journée. Pas de moustiques, même la nuit, je ne sais pas comment expliquer cela. Je recommande de s'aventurer à l'extérieur de la station pour une promenade afin de voir le vrai Cuba. La nourriture au buffet est excellente, il y a quelque chose de nouveau tous les jours. La plongée avec masque et tuba n'est pas aussi bonne et pittoresque que prévu, mais c'est probablement parce que je n'aime pas ça, je ne l'ai fait que deux fois. Bien que la brochure de l'hôtel indique que les pourboires ne sont pas acceptés, l'expérience a prouvé le contraire. Il est facile de donner un pourboire au personnel de l'hôtel, qui le mérite vraiment. Les spectacles nocturnes sont excellents et authentiques, vous donnant le goût de la musique et de la danse des Caraïbes et de l'Amérique latine. Apportez plus d'argent liquide que vous ne pensez en avoir besoin compte tenu de l'éloignement relatif de la région, ce n'était pas très amusant de devoir compter les fonds restants chaque jour vers la fin des vacances.

Better than expected Even though the resort is located in Cuban countryside, it still offers lots of fun if you are looking for it. If not, you can have a quiet vacation. The staff is very helpful and will assist you any way they can. I recommend establishing friendly relationships with the staff, this will allow you to better understand the resort and Cuba in general. Ask questions, if the staff member you ask cannot help, they will find someone else who can. Was not too crowded, there was always plenty of space on the beach any time of the day. No mosquitoes, even at night, don't know how to explain this. I recommend to venture outside the resort for a walk to see real Cuba. The food in the buffet is great, something new every day. Snorkeling is not as great and scenic as expected, but it is probably because I am just not into snorkeling, only did it a couple of times. Although the hotel brochure states that tips are not accepted, the experience proved otherwise. It is easy to tip to the resort staff, they truly deserve it. The shows at night are great and authentic, giving you the taste of Caribbean/Latin American music and dance. Bring more cash than you think you'll need considering the relative remoteness of the area, was not a lot of fun having to count the remaining funds every day towards the end of vacation.

Le site est magnifique, la plage est belle, le personnel est sympathique et les animations nocturnes sont excellentes. Ce qui a été vraiment décevant, c'est la nourriture. Nous n'aurions probablement pas été aussi déçus si nous n'avions pas entendu dire qu'elle était bonne. Le déjeuner au beach grill était correct, et le petit déjeuner était bien, donc c'était surtout les dîners qui étaient si mauvais. En fait, nous avons eu faim dans un "all inclusive", ce qui est rare ! Ce que nous avons enten [... lire plus]du, c'est qu'en basse saison - juillet et août - ils réduisent leur offre. Je peux comprendre que l'on réduise la quantité, mais la qualité !

Average The grounds were beautiful, nice beach, friendly staff, and great nightly entertainment. What was really disappointing was the food. We probably wouldn't have been so disappointed had we not heard how good it was. Lunch at the beach grill was OK, and breakfast was fine, so it was mainly the dinners that were so poor. We were actually hungry at an "all inclusive"--a rare occurence! What we heard was that in low season--July and August--they cut back. I can understand cutting back quantity, but quality!

C'était ma première visite à Cuba. Nous avons choisi ce complexe parce qu'il n'était qu'à une heure de La Havane et qu'il était censé offrir de superbes possibilités de plongée avec tuba au large de la plage. Nous y sommes allés à la mi-mai, et nous avons eu un temps bizarre et inhabituel, et n'avons donc pas pu faire de plongée, mais nous avons tout de même passé un moment fabuleux. Le personnel était fantastique, tellement amical et accommodant. Une plage tranquille, une belle piscine, des cha [... lire plus]mbres aérées et propres, des activités divertissantes en journée et des animations nocturnes formidables, aussi bien au dîner que le soir. La nourriture était bien meilleure que ce à quoi je m'attendais, avec un choix énorme tous les jours ! Une excursion d'une journée à La Havane avec chauffeur et guide n'a coûté que 70 pesos pour 3 personnes. J'ai l'intention de revenir !

Loved this place! This was my first visit to Cuba. We picked this resort because it was only an hour out of Havana and was supposed to have wonderful snorkelling right off the beach. We were there in mid May, and had some freakish, unusual weather, and so couldn't go snorkelling, but we still had a fabulous time there. The staff was fantastic, so friendly and accommodating. A quiet beach, great pool, airy, clean rooms, fun daytime activities and terrific nightly entertainment, both during dinner and at night. The food was much better than I expected, a huge selection every day! An all day trip to Havana with driver and guide was only 70 pesos for 3 people. I definitely plan to return!

Mon séjour a été très agréable. L'hôtel dispose d'une très grande plage, mais il est situé sur un récif. Cela a permis une très bonne plongée avec masque et tuba, mais le sable s'arrêtait après 3 mètres et les rochers/récifs rendaient la baignade difficile. Breezes My stay was very nice, the hotel had a very large beach, but was situated on a reef. This made for very good snorkeling, but the sand ended after 10 feet and rocks/reef made swimming hard. Other than this aspect, the hotel was cleaned every day, including walkways, the hotel's other guest were respectful towards each other, fresh towels were provided daily and the hotel organized hikes into the surrounding hillsides. 4.5/5

Super personnel, emplacement, expérience

Fantastique hôtel dans un endroit isolé, à distance de taxi de Varedero et de La Havane. Nous n'avons jamais été aussi bien traités. Le personnel est le meilleur que nous ayons jamais connu. Les cappucchinos et les cafés spéciaux sont incroyablement délicieux. Le paysage et la proximité de la plage sont idéaux et le récif est un paradis pour les amateurs de plongée.

super staff,location,experience Fantastic hotel in an isolated location within taxi distance to both varedero and Havana. We have never been treated so well. The staff here are the best we have ever experienced. The cappucchinos and specialty coffees...incrediblly delicious. The scenery and proximity to the beach is ideal and the reef a snorklers paradise.

chambres : nous avions une chambre avec accès direct à la plage, ce qui était magnifique au réveil. L'air conditionné n'était pas trop fort, mais il y avait un peu de moisissure autour des bouches d'aération. Le lit était composé de deux lits jumeaux poussés l'un contre l'autre mais fait de manière à ce que l'on ne puisse pas le voir - assez confortable ! Le réfrigérateur sentait le fromage donc nous ne l'avons pas utilisé. Nourriture et boissons : mieux que ce que j'avais prévu. la station d'om [... lire plus]elettes le matin et le poisson grillé sur la plage ont été les points forts. Les dîners à thème ont apporté une belle variété. Boissons savoureuses, rien d'extraordinaire. Apportez un gobelet réutilisable car les boissons sont servies dans de petits gobelets en plastique - cela permet de se lever moins souvent et c'est meilleur pour l'environnement Personnel : amical ! et très accommodant, activités tous les jours mais ils étaient respectueux et pas pressants si vous vouliez juste vous détendre emplacement : le complexe est adossé à une montagne, ce qui permet de profiter du paysage et de l'intimité. L'ambiance rustique et décontractée est parfaite pour recharger ses batteries tout en étant proche de points chauds comme la Havane. Un peu rocailleuse par endroits mais belle eau quand même. L'endroit est idéal pour s'initier à la plongée avec masque et tuba.

Beautifully relaxing getaway! rooms: had a beach front room with direct access to the beach which was beautiful to wake up to. Air conditioning was not too much, slight bit of mold around the vents as a result however. Bed was two twins pushed together but done in a way you could not tell - fairly comfy!The fridge however smelt like cheese so we didn't use it. overall, safe, clean and quiet space. Food and drinks: better than i anticipated.omelet station in the mornings and grilled fish on the beach were the highlights. Themed dinners brought some nice variety. Tasty drinks nothing crazy. Bring a reusable cup as the drinks are served in small plastic cups - means getting up less and better for environment Staff: friendly! and very accommodating, activities everyday but they were respectful and not pushy if you just wanted to relax location: resort being backed by a mountain provided great scenery and privacy. Rustic and laid back feel perfect for recharging your batteries all while being close to hotspots like Havana. music playing in the distance on the beach was nice. A little rocky in spots but beautiful water none the less. Great place to get into snorkeling.

Un lieu de villégiature qui ne vous décevra pas

Complexe très propre, personnel sympathique, bon choix de nourriture, suffisamment de divertissements et d'options pour rendre votre séjour agréable, adapté aux personnes sans enfants. Belle plage, piscine avec 2 jacuzzi. Si vous cherchez une station tranquille, ou à proximité de La Havane pour les visites quotidiennes, ne cherchez pas plus loin.

Resort that will not dissapoint you Very clean resort, friendly staff, good food choices, enough entertainment and options to make your stay enjoyable, tailored for people without kids. Beautiful beach, swimming pool with 2 Jacuzzi. If you are looking for a quite resort, or to be close to Havana for daily visits, look no further.

Mieux que ce à quoi nous nous attendions !

C'était la première fois que mon mari se rendait à Cuba et ma cinquième fois, mais dans les deux cas, c'était la première fois que nous allions dans cet hôtel. Tout le monde lui disait que la nourriture serait horrible et que Cuba n'était pas un endroit idéal. À notre grande surprise, la nourriture était meilleure que ce à quoi nous nous attendions. Il y avait toujours une grande variété de plats et des thèmes différents chaque soir. Ne manquez pas la soirée homard le mercredi ! Comme nous avons [... lire plus] apprécié le buffet, nous n'avons jamais pris la peine d'aller aux menus à la carte. Tous les soirs au buffet, il y avait toujours un orchestre ou un musicien qui jouait pendant que vous mangiez. La chambre était moyenne et un peu démodée. Ce qui était étrange, c'est que nous devions fermer la porte de l'extérieur et de l'intérieur avec notre clé. Il y avait un coffre-fort dans notre chambre pour y mettre nos objets de valeur. Notre téléviseur était de type grand tube mais les autres chambres avaient des écrans plats. La chambre sentait un peu le renfermé mais le climatiseur fonctionnait très bien et parfois, nous devions l'éteindre car la chambre était trop froide ! Le personnel était très agréable et serviable. La deuxième nuit, nous avons eu un problème avec notre fer à repasser et ils sont venus le remplacer immédiatement. La seule chose qui nous a déçus, c'est l'équipement de la salle de sport. Ils se trouvaient juste à côté du magasin de plongée et il est évident que l'air marin les a abîmés et que la plupart d'entre eux étaient rouillés. La plage est recouverte de sable blanc, mais l'océan est un peu rocailleux. C'est idéal si vous aimez faire de la plongée avec masque et tuba, mais pas pour les amateurs de plage. J'ai fait beaucoup de plongée sous-marine et nous sommes partis du rivage pour plonger jusqu'à l'océan. Il y avait aussi un court de tennis et un terrain de basket. Chaque jour, il y avait une randonnée pédestre et notre représentant Sunwing était très instructif et très bon. Les divertissements étaient plutôt bons. Je ne suis pas du genre à regarder un spectacle de magie, mais avant même de m'en rendre compte, j'ai fini par être diverti et j'ai regardé le spectacle en entier !

Better than we expected! This was the first time my husband had ever gone to Cuba and my 5th time, but both our first time at this hotel. Everyone was telling him how terrible the food was going to be and how Cuba was not a great place to go. To our surprise, the food was better than we expected. There was always a variety of foods and different themes every night. Don't miss out on lobster night on Wednesdays! Since we enjoyed the buffet, we never bothered to go to any of the a la cartes. Everynight at the buffet, there was always a live band or musician playing while you eat. The room was average and a bit outdated. What was odd was that we had to lock the door from the outside and inside with our key. There was a lock vault in our room to put our valuables. Our t.v. was the big tube type but other rooms had flat screens. The room smelled a little musty but the air conditioner worked very well and at times, we had to turn it off because the room got too cold! The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. On the 2nd night we had a problem with our iron and they came and replaced it right away. The only thing that was disappointing was their gym equipment. It was right beside the dive shop and obvious that the sea air had taken a toll on them and most of them were quite rusted. The beach had white sands but the ocean was a bit rocky. This is ideal if you like to snorkel but not for the average beach-goer. I did a lot of scuba diving and we started from the shore and dove the rest of the way into the ocean. There was also a tennis court and a basketball court. Every day there was a hiking tour and our Sunwing rep was really informative and very good. The entertainment was pretty good. I'm not normally one to watch a magic show but before I knew it....I ended up being entertained and watched the entire show!

Grand voyage

Notre 10ème visite, c'est comme si nous rentrions à la maison. Les gens de la station sont formidables, les chambres sont propres, la nourriture est bonne, le temps était fantastique, les boissons étaient bonnes, nous y retournerons. Nous avons fait un bon voyage à La Havane et nous avons apprécié l'hôtel Ernest Hemingway.

Great trip Our 10th visit,it is like coming home.The people at the resort are great,rooms clean,food good,weather was fantastic,drinks were good,we will be going back. Has a great trip to Havana, we enjoy the Ernest Hemingway Hotel.

Le terrain était impeccable et le personnel était très amical et toujours prêt à répondre à nos questions. Notre chambre était très propre et nous avons adoré notre emplacement, à mi-chemin entre la plage et la piscine. Ce voyage était notre 20ème (oui 20) à Cuba. Nous avons visité plusieurs établissements et je dirais que celui-ci est l'un des meilleurs. Si vous cherchez une plage avec un fond de sable dans l'eau qui s'étend à l'infini, ce n'est peut-être pas l'endroit qu'il vous faut. En revan [... lire plus]che, c'est une plage où l'on peut faire de la plongée avec masque et tuba. Vous pouvez sortir de l'eau et à deux pieds de profondeur, vous pouvez déjà voir le corail, les rochers et les poissons colorés. Je vous recommande de porter des chaussures d'eau si vous voulez juste faire trempette. Il y a toujours la piscine qui a une atmosphère très relaxante et la vue sur la montagne depuis le bord de la piscine est à couper le souffle. Les divertissements nocturnes sont typiquement cubains, mais l'action se déroule dans le salon avec un pianiste qui joue tous les soirs. Vous pouvez boire dans le salon ou dans le patio. Vous pouvez vous asseoir et vous détendre ou vous joindre aux autres clients et chanter avec le pianiste. C'est très amusant ! L'hôtel est situé à mi-chemin entre La Havane et Varadero, il faut donc prévoir une heure de trajet pour se rendre à l'aéroport et en revenir. Nous avons loué un taxi pour aller rendre visite à un ami à La Havane et le coût était de 60 pesos convertibles pour un aller-retour. Si vous cherchez un endroit pour vous détendre, manger de la bonne nourriture, profiter de la compagnie d'autres personnes partageant les mêmes idées ou simplement passer du bon temps avec votre conjoint/partenaire, c'est l'endroit que je vous recommande. Si vous recherchez une atmosphère de fête sauvage et folle, je ne pense pas que vous apprécierez ce complexe. Ce complexe réservé aux adultes était exactement ce que mon mari et moi recherchions et nous y retournerions sans hésiter.

Great Food...Great Snorkelling...Very relaxing The grounds were impeccable and the staff were very friendly and always ready to answer any questions. Our room was very clean and we loved our location which was half way between the beach and the pool. This trip was our 20th (yes 20) to Cuba. We have been to various properties and I would say this is one of the best. Now if you are looking for a beach that has a sandy bottom in the water that goes on forever, then this might not be the place for you. It is definitely a beach for snorkeling. You can step out into the water and 2 feet in, you are already able to view the coral, rocks and colourful fish. I recommend water shoes if you're just going in for a dip. There's always the pool which has a very relaxing atmosphere and the view of the mountain from poolside is breath taking. The entertainment at night is your typical Cuban flare but the action is up in the lounge with a nightly piano player. Here you can drink in the lounge or take it out on the patio. You can just sit and relax or join in with the other guest and sing along with the piano player. So much fun! The resort is halfway between Havana and Varadero so plan on a one hour ride to and from the airport. We rented a cab and went into visit a personal friend in Havana and the cost was $60 convertible pesos for a return trip. If you're looking for a place to just relax, eat good food, enjoy the company of other like-minded people or just simply spend good quality time with your spouse/partner then this is the place I would recommend. If you looking for a wild and crazy party atmosphere then I don't think you would enjoy this resort. This adults only resort was just what my husband and I were looking for and we would return here in a heart beat.

Une installation qui inspire l'admiration

Une machine bien huilée, tout a été fait à l'heure, la nourriture était délicieuse ainsi que les desserts Je recommanderais ce ressort à tout moment à mes amis.

Awe inspiring facility A well oiled machine,this was,everything was done to sched,food wareat as were desserts.The grounds  were prun and spotlessrs Sponotless and the rooms were well looked after.I would recomend this ressort anytime to friends.

Pas ce que nous attendions

Nous avons voyagé en République Dominicaine, au Mexique, en Jamaïque et à Cuba, mais nous ne retournerons pas à Cuba pour plusieurs raisons.Tout d'abord, je n'ai pas eu à me plaindre de la propreté de l'hôtel, le personnel était très amical pour la plupart.Ma seule plainte concernant le personnel est qu'à notre arrivée, on nous a donné nos numéros de chambre et on nous a indiqué la direction de nos chambres, mais le groom plus âgé n'a pas proposé de nous aider à porter nos bagages :{.Le directeu [... lire plus]r était très sympathique et a fait tout son possible pour nous aider.La nourriture était la pire que j'ai eu dans mes voyages, Dieu merci pour les choux de Bruxelles lol.La plage était très petite et rocheuse et la mendicité était implacable.La piscine était très peu profonde et il n'y avait pas d'animation.J'ai demandé au personnel pourquoi il n'y avait pas de musique ou d'animation pendant la journée et ils ont dit qu'ils gardaient la musique basse car le complexe était plein de personnes âgées et ils n'aimaient pas la musique forte, eh bien il était si bas que je ne pouvais pas l'entendre !J'ai fait une excursion d'une journée dans la ville et j'ai mangé dans un restaurant qui s'appelait, je crois, La Casa, fade et hors de prix à mon avis.Un pays très sale et frustrant, pour l'amour de Dieu, assurez-vous de prendre assez d'argent, trop long à raconter notre histoire d'horreur avec leur version de la banque, mais disons simplement qu'obtenir mon argent de leur système d'escroquerie de ITMs a pris 4 heures, préparez-vous à vous faire prendre à l'aéroport aussi, on nous a dit que nous avions trop de bagages quand nous sommes partis même si nous avons volé en classe premium, nous avions moins de poids au départ de Toronto, nous avons laissé la moitié du poids là-bas en cadeaux pour le personnel, oui elle s'est contentée de nous escroquer pour $60.si je n'en avais pas eu assez de tout ce voyage, j'aurais insisté pour voir son superviseur, cela valait bien les 60 dollars pour sortir du pays, mais je n'y retournerai certainement pas !

Not what we expected First time in Cuba and not what we are use to when winter vacationing.Traveled to Dominican,Mexico,Jamaica and Cuba ,will not be returning to Cuba for a few reasons.Firstly I had no complaints of the cleanliness of the resort,the staff was very friendly for the most part.My only complaint as far as staff goes was that upon our arrival we were given our room numbers and pointed to the direction of our rooms,older bell hop did not offer to help us with our luggage :{.The manager was very friendly and went out of her way to help us out.The food was the worse I had in my travels,thank god for brussel sprouts lol.The beach was very small and rocky and the begging was relentless.The pool was very shallow and no entertainment,I asked the staff why there was no music or entertainment during the day and they said they keep the music low as the resort was full of elderly people and they did not like the music loud,well it was so low I could not hear it!Took a day trip into the city and ate at I believe it was called La Casa,bland over priced in my opinion.Very dirty and frustrating country,for god sake make sure you take enough money,too long of a tale to tell of our horror story with their version of banking but lets just say getting my money from their scam system of ITMs took 4 hours,be prepared to get taken at the airport as well,told we were over on our luggage when we were leaving even though we flew premium class,was under on our weight departing Toronto,left half of weight there in gifts for the staff,yeah she settled for scaming us for $60.00 Canadian and said she was doing us a favor!If I were not so fed up with entire trip I would of insisted on seeing her supervisor,worth the $60.00 to get out of the country,definately will not be returning!
