Excursion left us with a deeper understanding and connection to historic and spiritual sacred spaces within the Mayan civilization and their ancient traditions and ways of life. Wonderful fresh fruits each morning and in the evening music and dance. This resort is located in a very special place and the people who run and manage it are equally as special. They go way beyond to help and to ensure comfort and hospitality are 5 star.

Grand Oasis Riviera: Ça n'en vaut pas la peine !!

Pour commencer, ces 125 $ CA de « frais environnementaux », c'est ridicule. Le fait qu'ils ne mettent que quelques bouteilles d'eau et de Coca dans le mini-réfrigérateur le premier jour, et qu'ensuite, il faille payer si on en veut davantage. Le petit-déjeuner sous forme de buffet est horrible : du bacon brûlé à chaque fois. Aucune animation, à moins d'aller manger au restaurant mexicain, où l'on peut entendre un groupe de mariachis. Ça ne vaut pas le prix, je n'y retournerai jamais.

Not worth it!! To start with the $125.00 cdn for the environmental fee, ridiculous. The fact they only give you a couple bottles of water and coke in your mini fridge the first day and then you have to pay if you want anymore. Buffet breakfast is terrible, burnt to a crisp bacon everyday. No entertainment at all unless you eat at Mexican restaurant then you can hear a Miriachi band. Not worth the money, would never go back

All Ritmo Cancun Resort And Waterpark: Une super activité pour toute la famille !!

Un hôtel très propre et accueillant, avec plein d'activités sympas pour les enfants !! Les animations et le parc aquatique sont vraiment géniaux. La nourriture était excellente aussi, on se sentait comme à la maison. Il y a toujours de l'ambiance à la piscine, avec de la musique et des animations.

Great Fun For The Family!! very clean and friendly hotel- lots of fun things for the kids!! Entertainment and waterpark are a lot of fun. The food was really good too, everything felt like home. The pool is always happening with music and activities.

Ocean Coral Riviera Cancun: Excellent centre de villégiature !

Depuis notre arrivée dans le vaste et luxueux hall d'entrée jusqu'à notre départ, le service de l'Ocean Coral et du Turquesa a été irréprochable. Nous avons vécu une expérience formidable au moment de l'enregistrement, où l'on nous a offert des boissons au bar (alcoolisées ou non), le valet nous a conduits à notre chambre et a porté nos bagages. Nous sommes arrivés tard et étions épuisés. Après avoir apprécié notre chambre extrêmement propre, nous sommes tombés dans un lit très confortable av [... lire plus]ec de nombreux oreillers. Le lendemain matin, il faisait beau et ensoleillé et il faisait déjà 28 degrés. Prêts pour la piscine, nous avons pris notre petit-déjeuner et nous sommes allés à la piscine. Nous sommes des habitués de la plage, mais les sargasses nous en empêchaient. Mais ce n'était pas la faute de l'hôtel, nous sommes donc devenus des adeptes de la piscine ! Et nous sommes très heureux de l'avoir fait ! Cet hôtel fait attention à tout ! Le personnel vous croisait dans un couloir et vous demandait si tout allait bien, s'il pouvait faire quelque chose. Tout simplement parce que. Ajoutez à cela le nombre de restaurants et de bars, les équipements, les activités et vous n'aurez jamais à quitter l'hôtel. Mais vous voudrez le faire avec toutes les excursions disponibles ! Dans l'ensemble, je donnerais à ce centre de villégiature un pouce en l'air, 5 étoiles, et je le recommanderais vivement.

Great resort! From the moment we arrived in the vast and luxurious lobby, to the moment we left, the service at Ocean Coral and Turquesa was top notch. We had a great experience at checkin while being offered drinks from the bar (alcoholic or nonalcoholic), the valet showed us to our room and carried our bags. Since we arrived late we were exhausted, after appreciating our extremely clean room, we fell into a very comfy bed with plenty of pillows. The next morning all was bright and sunny and already about 28 degrees. All ready for the pool we had breakfast and proceeded to the Pool. We are typically beach people, however the sargassum sure was making certain that was not possible. However that was to no fault of the hotel, so we became pool people! And we are so happy we did! This hotel pays attention to everything! Staff would see you in a hallway and ask if all was well, could they do anything. Like, just because. Throw in the number of restaurants and bars, amenities, activities and you never have to leave the resort. But you will want to with all of the excursions available! All in all, I would give this resort a thumbs up, 5-Stars, and a high recommendation.

Barcelo Maya Palace: Superbe station à l'exception de la réservation des restaurants

Great resort except for Restaurants reservation The Barcelo Maya Palace is a great resort with a superb beach. The Hitel Staff at the restaurants are very nice. The food is varied but at the buffet restos the food is often cold, they should have a better system to keep the food hot. The biggest problem of this resort is the A La Carte restaurants reservation process. It is very frustrating, it is an abrasive lengthy process and you don’t get the restaurants you want at the time you want

Villas HM Paraiso Del Mar: Tout est bon !

Tout s'est bien passé, à l'exception de quelques problèmes mineurs concernant le check-out et le transfert vers l'aéroport. Sanwing aurait pu gérer cela plus efficacement ou au moins répondre aux demandes par téléphone ou par chat sur le site Web. Tout est inclus, mais la signature constante des formulaires d'inscription est tout simplement ennuyeuse ! Pourquoi signer pour quelque chose qui est déjà payé ! Et le bruit - le bâtiment voisin était en construction toute la semaine. Alll good! Everything was fine, except for some minor issues with check-out and airport transfer. Sanwing could have handled this more efficiently or at least responded to inquiries by phone or via website chat. Everything is included, but the constant signing in the registration forms is just annoying!!! Why sign for something that's already paid for! And the noise—the neighboring building was under construction all week. We lived like we were on a construction site, with a chainsaw, a circular saw, and all sorts of other tools running. Basically, we lived on a massive construction site for seven days.

Paradisus Cancun: Magnifique complexe hôtelier

Notre séjour dans ce complexe tout compris a été, dans l'ensemble, une expérience très agréable. L'établissement est spacieux et magnifiquement aménagé. Au centre, on trouve un superbe espace en plein air surmonté d'une verrière, agrémenté de plantes luxuriantes qui confèrent à l'ensemble du complexe une atmosphère tropicale et relaxante. Les nombreux coins salon et espaces de détente disséminés un peu partout permettent de trouver facilement un endroit tranquille pour se détendre. La nourrit [... lire plus]ure était un point fort. Avec environ 6 à 7 restaurants différents proposant une grande variété de cuisines, il y en a pour tous les goûts. Le buffet, en particulier, offre un choix immense de plats. Bien que certaines options soient plutôt classiques, la qualité générale est bonne et la variété est suffisante pour que les repas restent intéressants tout au long du séjour. La plage est spacieuse et bien entretenue, avec de nombreuses chaises longues disponibles, ce qui fait que trouver une place n’a jamais posé de problème. Les piscines sont également grandes, propres et parfaites pour se détendre ou se rafraîchir pendant la journée. Il y a eu quelques petits inconvénients. Le jour de notre arrivée, l’enregistrement a pris plus de temps que prévu — environ une heure et demie — en raison d’un nouveau système administratif et d’une nouvelle équipe de conciergerie. De plus, le complexe étant très vaste, le service en chambre peut parfois être un peu lent. Cela dit, le personnel était généralement serviable et le service dans l'ensemble restait bon. Le complexe offre une ambiance animée avec des événements et des activités programmés tout au long de la semaine. Un soir, un concert a eu lieu dans le hall principal jusqu’à environ 22 h, ce qui a ajouté à l’énergie ambiante, même si cela pouvait être un peu bruyant pour les familles avec de jeunes enfants qui se couchent tôt. Les chambres étaient propres, bien rangées et bien entretenues, grâce à un service de ménage quotidien qui maintenait tout en excellent état. Dans l'ensemble, c'est un magnifique complexe hôtelier animé, doté d'excellentes installations, d'une offre de restauration de qualité et d'une ambiance agréable. Malgré quelques petits inconvénients, nous avons passé un séjour très positif et envisagerions sans hésiter d'y retourner.

Beautiful Resort Our stay at this all-inclusive resort was overall a really enjoyable experience. The property itself is spacious and beautifully designed. At the center, there’s a stunning open-air area with a glass roof, filled with lush plants that give the whole resort a tropical, relaxing atmosphere. There are plenty of seating and lounging areas throughout, making it easy to find a quiet spot to unwind. The food was a highlight. With around 6–7 different restaurants offering a variety of cuisines, there’s something for everyone. The buffet, in particular, has a huge selection of dishes. While some options are more on the generic side, the overall quality is good and there’s enough variety to keep meals interesting throughout the stay. The beach area is spacious and well-maintained, with lots of lounge chairs available, so finding a spot was never an issue. The swimming pools are also large, clean, and perfect for relaxing or cooling off during the day. There were a couple of minor drawbacks. On the day we arrived, check-in took longer than expected—about 1.5 hours—due to a new administrative system and concierge team. Also, because the resort is so large, room service can be a bit slow at times. That said, the staff were generally helpful and the service overall was still good. The resort offers a lively atmosphere with events and activities scheduled throughout the week. One evening featured live music in the main lobby area until around 10 PM, which added to the energy, though it might be a bit loud for families with young children who have earlier bedtimes. Rooms were clean, tidy, and well-maintained, with daily housekeeping that kept everything in great condition. All in all, this is a beautiful, vibrant resort with great amenities, solid dining options, and a fun atmosphere. Despite a few small inconveniences, we had a really positive experience and would definitely consider returning.

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Super voyage

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au Bahía Príncipe Explore Tulum. Le temps était magnifique. L'hôtel n'était pas bondé, nous avions donc le choix entre les chaises longues de la plage ou celles de la piscine. Le personnel s'occupait sans cesse de nettoyer et de réparer les installations pendant notre séjour. Dommage pour les algues sur la plage : ils ont travaillé d'arrache-pied pour les nettoyer tous les jours, mais certains jours, c'était tout simplement trop pour eux ! Un grand merci à Ni [... lire plus]cholas, notre représentant Air Canada, qui a joué un rôle essentiel pour me récupérer le téléphone portable que j'avais perdu dans le bus, ainsi qu'à Manuel, notre serveur préféré au buffet.

Great trip Excellent trip to the Bahía Príncipe Explore Tulum. Weather was amazing. Resort was not busy so we had our choice of chairs at the beach or pool. They were constantly cleaning and fixing things around the resort while we were there. Too bad about the sea weed on the beach, they worked so hard to clean it up everyday but some days it was just too much for them! Big shouts out to Nicholas our Air Canada Rep who was instrumental in getting the cell phone I lost on the bus back and to Manuel our favourite server in the buffet.

Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun: Superbe complexe hôtelier !

Nous avons adoré la plage et nous avons nagé dans l'océan pendant quelques jours, jusqu'à ce que les algues rendent la baignade impossible. Great resort! The resort was very clean and well appointed. The staff took pride in their work and were very friendly. The rooms were large and very comfortable. I felt very safe wandering the grounds. There were many dining options and the food was excellent. (Watch out for the $20 US bag of Lays chips!) We loved the beach and swimming in the ocean for a few days until the seaweed made it impossible. We then relaxed by the pool which was a bit noisier with loud dance music (could turn that done a notch). There was also entertainment- a great guitarist and other performers. We would definitely consider come back!

We really enjoyed the Mexican food options, fresh guacamole, and the seafood. We loved the sheer variety of food at every meal. The bartenders are awesome at both adult pools and it was never long to get a drink. The beach was beautiful with no problems finding a chair on the beach at all. Sometimes it was a little bit more difficult to find a chair at the pool, but we weren't too worried about that. Pepe's food was a great option every afternoon if you were enjoying your time in the pool and not wanting to dry off. There were great options like tacos, nachos, burgers, fries, hot dogs, etc. Along with the staff being very helpful and attentive I also found just everyone in general at the resort friendly and there for a good time. I usually go to adults only resorts but there were lots of families there enjoying their time as well. There are two adults only pools where we spent our time along with the beach. I thought everything would be crowded and we would have to wait for food and drinks but I can't say it enough. This resort was so well staffed that you barely had to wait for anything and there was always enough food and drinks for everybody. I also found with the amount of guests at this resort I never felt like it was crowded. Secrets Playa Blanca Costa Mujeres: Le meilleur séjour tout compris depuis près de 50 ans !

Ce complexe hôtelier est magnifique. L'aménagement du site est intéressant et bien pensé, avec une végétation luxuriante, un éclairage nocturne discret et des allées sinueuses ponctuées de foyers extérieurs entourés de sièges confortables, parfaits pour siroter une boisson raffinée et contempler les étoiles. Les restaurants à la carte étaient pour la plupart excellents, tandis que le buffet du petit-déjeuner offrait un choix pour tous les goûts. Nous avons choisi le Preferred Club et avons appré [... lire plus]cié l'emplacement de notre bâtiment près de la plage, notre superbe chambre ainsi que le service fabuleux de nos majordomes, Gloria et Alfredo. Ils nous ont fait nous sentir très spéciaux. Le seul bémol a été la difficulté à trouver une chaise longue au bord de la piscine pendant le week-end de Pâques en raison de l'afflux de voyageurs venus du Texas. Une fois qu'ils sont partis, cela a été beaucoup plus facile. L'un des moments forts a été nos interactions avec le personnel incroyablement bien formé. Best all inclusive in almost 50 years! This resort is beautiful. The property layout is interesting and well done with lush greenery, subtle night time lighting and curving paths interspersed with fire pits surrounded by comfortable seating for sipping a high quality drink and gazing at the stars. The à la carte restaurants were mostly very good while the buffet at breakfast had choices for every palate. We chose the Preferred Club and enjoyed our building’s location near the beach and the stunning room plus the fabulous service from our butlers, Gloria & Alfredo. They made us feel very special. The only downside was difficulty getting a poolside lounge over the Easter weekend due to the influx of travelers from Texas. After they left, it was much easier. A real highlight was our interactions with the incredible well trained staff. Their friendliness and enthusiasm are second to none. I would return in a heartbeat!

De très belles chambres et un excellent service. La cuisine était bonne et l'hôtel est situé près de la plage. Le personnel était courtois. Il y avait quatre restaurants de spécialités, une belle piscine, un petit café proposant des boissons spéciales et des desserts. Certains soirs, des animations étaient organisées dans le hall. Les spectacles étaient spectaculaires.

Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya: Merveilleux centre de villégiature

Très beau centre de villégiature avec de nombreux chemins de randonnée menant à différentes zones. De superbes piscines avec des bars et des chaises longues. Le complexe comprend de nombreux restaurants proposant une grande variété de plats. Un bureau avec deux concierges est situé au rez-de-chaussée de chaque bâtiment et nous avons trouvé qu'ils étaient les plus gentils et les plus serviables que l'on puisse demander. La plage laissait un peu à désirer car les sargasses étaient assez mauva [... lire plus]ises, mais le personnel travaillait dur sur ce problème. Il y a beaucoup de faune pour ceux qui veulent voir de petits animaux. Dans l'ensemble, un lieu de vacances magnifique avec un personnel formidable qui n'en fait jamais assez pour vous.

Wonderful resort Very beautiful resort spread out with many walking paths to different areas. Great pool areas with bars and lounge chairs. The resort included many restaurants with a large variety of food. A desk with two concierge staff is located on the main floor of each building and we found them to be the nicest and most helpful you could ask for. The beach area left a bit to be desired as the sargassum was quite bad but the staff were working hard on that issue. A lot of wildlife for those interested in seeing small animals. Overall a beautiful holiday location with great staff who couldn't do enough for you.

Barcelo Maya Riviera: Barcelo Maya Riviera - Mexique - Réservé aux adultes

C'était notre deuxième séjour au Barceló Maya Riviera, et dans l'ensemble, nous avons passé un bon moment, même s'il y a eu quelques différences par rapport à notre première visite. La chambre était très spacieuse, avec un lit extrêmement grand et confortable, assez grand pour accueillir plusieurs personnes. Elle était toujours propre, et nous avons vraiment apprécié d'avoir un jacuzzi sur le balcon. La climatisation fonctionnait très bien, ce qui a rendu notre séjour encore plus agréable. Cependant, le réfrigérateur n'était pas réapprovisionné régulièrement : il n'a été rempli que deux ou trois fois pendant notre séjour d'une semaine. La nourriture était très bonne la plupart du temps, avec beaucoup de variété, même si un jour le choix était limité. Nous avons apprécié la possibilité de réserver dans des restaurants à la carte, mais il était assez difficile d'obtenir une table. Nous n'avons réussi à réserver que deux restaurants pendant notre séjour. Nous avons essayé le restaurant français, qui était très bon — nous y avons même mangé du homard. Malheureusement, nous avons dû annuler une autre réservation car le seul créneau disponible était trop tardif (21h30). Une fois, on nous a conseillé d'essayer de nous rendre dans un restaurant sans réservation, mais nous avons été refoulés. La plage est agréable, mais il y a quelques points importants à savoir. Le rivage et l'entrée dans l'eau sont assez rocailleux, avec des pierres coupantes et des coquillages brisés, donc des chaussures aquatiques sont fortement recommandées. Près du rivage, l'eau peut sembler un peu trouble, mais elle devient plus claire à mesure que l'on s'enfonce. On peut voir quelques poissons, et si l'on marche jusqu'à la jetée, il y en a beaucoup plus, car les gens les nourrissent là-bas. Un inconvénient était qu'il était difficile de trouver des transats disponibles. De nombreux clients les réservaient très tôt le matin (vers 7 h) en y laissant des serviettes ou des effets personnels, en particulier près de la piscine et de la plage. Le personnel était formidable : aimable et serviable tout au long de notre séjour. Dans l'ensemble, nous avons apprécié nos vacances, mais par rapport à notre première visite, l'ambiance nous a semblé différente et moins organisée, notamment en ce qui concerne les réservations au restaurant et les places sur la plage.

Barcelo Maya Riviera - Mexico - Adult only This was our second time staying at the Barceló Maya Riviera, and overall we had a good experience, although there were some differences compared to our first visit. The room was very spacious, with an extremely large and comfortable bed—big enough for several people. It was always clean, and we really enjoyed having a Jacuzzi on the balcony. The sound insulation was excellent; we couldn’t hear any noise from neighboring rooms. The air conditioning worked very well, which made the stay even more comfortable. However, the refrigerator was not consistently restocked—it was only refilled two or three times during our one-week stay. The food was very good most of the time, with plenty of variety, although one day the selection was limited. We appreciated that it was possible to book à la carte restaurants, but reservations were quite difficult to secure. We managed to book only two restaurants during our stay. We tried the French restaurant, which was very good—we even had lobster there. Unfortunately, we had to cancel another reservation because the only available time was too late (9:30 pm). On one occasion, we were advised to try walking in to a restaurant, but we were turned away. The beach is nice, but there are some important things to know. The shore and water entry are quite rocky, with sharp stones and broken shells, so water shoes are highly recommended. Near the shore, the water can appear a bit cloudy, but it becomes clearer as you go further out. You can see some fish, and if you walk to the pier, there are many more, as people feed them there. One downside was that it was difficult to find available sunbeds. Many guests reserved them very early in the morning (around 7 am) by leaving towels or personal items, especially near the pool and beach. The staff were wonderful—friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, we enjoyed our vacation, but compared to our first visit, it felt different and less organized, especially when it came to restaurant reservations and beach seating.

El Dorado Seaside Suites: Excellent complexe hôtelier

El Dorado Seaside Palms: Superbe complexe hôtelier

C'est un bel établissement, la nourriture y est excellente et il y a tout ce qu'il faut. J'y retournerais volontiers, nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour. Tout est très propre et bien organisé, le personnel est très aimable et toujours prêt à rendre service, et il y a un large choix de restaurants proposant une grande variété de plats.

Great resort Nice property and big great food and stuff I would go back to this resort, we enjoyed the trip. Very clean and organized people are very nice and willing to help, lot of restaurants to chose from with great variety of food.

Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: Un complexe hôtelier incroyable !!!

C'est la cinquième fois que je séjourne au Valentine ! C'est de loin mon complexe préféré de la Riviera Maya ! Le domaine est magnifique, les restaurants sont tout simplement incroyables et le service, c'est vraiment le meilleur ! J'y retournerai sans hésiter !

Amazing Resort !!! This is my 5th time going to the Valentine ! By far my favorite resort in Mayan Riviera ! The grounds are beautiful, the restaurants are absolutely amazing and the service, absolutely the best ! Will return again for sure !

Allegro Cozumel: Un superbe complexe hôtelier familial

Nous avons voyagé avec un groupe de neuf adultes d'une soixantaine d'années et avons apprécié notre séjour. L'enregistrement aurait pu être un peu plus rapide, mais tout s'est bien passé. Les bracelets électroniques sont un énorme avantage, car on n'a pas besoin de penser à emporter sa clé de chambre partout. Le bracelet ouvre la porte ! CHAMBRE Nous étions dans une chambre standard. Les chambres sont plutôt petites mais confortables. Tout fonctionnait bien. Les serviettes et la literie étaient  [... lire plus]très agréables. Nos serviettes de bain étaient changées tous les jours lors du ménage de la chambre. Il y avait beaucoup d'eau chaude. Notre réfrigérateur était réapprovisionné pendant la semaine et les provisions de café étaient également remplacées au fur et à mesure des besoins. Nous avions demandé un étage supérieur, mais nous avons été placés au rez-de-chaussée, ce qui nous convenait parfaitement. Un gros iguane venait tous les jours se dorer au soleil sur notre terrasse. La chambre était généralement calme la nuit, même si nous avons entendu le spectacle de percussions un soir. Nous étions dans le bloc 45. RESTAURATION Nous avons trouvé que la nourriture était plus que satisfaisante, avec une bonne variété et des journées à thème dans les deux buffets. Nous avons déjeuné au buffet de la plage tous les jours. Nous avons également apprécié d'être accueillis à l'entrée du buffet et conduits à une table déjà dressée et prête. Nous avons séjourné dans de nombreux complexes hôteliers où, à l'heure du repas, on ne trouve ni table ni couverts. Le personnel de service était très attentionné, apportant tout ce que l'on demandait et venant vérifier notre table à plusieurs reprises. Nous n'avons pas du tout apprécié le système de réservation à la carte. Les files d'attente étaient interminables et ne faisaient que nous faire perdre un temps précieux pendant nos vacances. On ne peut effectuer que deux réservations par semaine. Le Fuji, le restaurant japonais, était excellent. Les chefs offraient un superbe spectacle et la nourriture était fantastique. Le restaurant italien était correct, mais sans plus. PLAGE La plage est très grande et bordée de nombreux arbres. Nous avons trouvé que l'accès à la mer était un peu difficile et que le sable était assez grossier, avec des morceaux de corail et des cailloux. Une fois dans l'eau, le sable était plus fin et l'eau cristalline. Nous avons vu beaucoup de poissons tous les jours. La région est très prisée pour la plongée sous-marine et le snorkeling, et de nombreuses excursions étaient proposées. Le grand quai à gauche du complexe était très animé, avec des bateaux qui allaient et venaient. Il y a beaucoup de chaises longues disponibles sur la plage, mais pas de parasols ; les emplacements à l'ombre des palmiers étaient donc très prisés. ACTIVITÉS ET DIVERTISSEMENTS Il y avait chaque jour de nombreuses activités sur la plage et aux piscines pour ceux qui souhaitaient y participer. Nous n'avons vu que quelques vendeurs ambulants sur la plage pendant notre séjour. PISCINES Il y a 3 piscines principales dans le complexe, plus 2 plus petites, et elles sont toujours pleines d'enfants. Il y a une piscine pour les enfants de 12 ans et moins avec un immense toboggan et des douches d'eau amusantes, mais elle n'était pas du tout fréquentée. On aurait dit que les enfants étaient toujours dans les autres piscines et passaient souvent leurs journées dans celle avec le bar aquatique, occupant toutes les places assises. Ils avaient également envahi le jacuzzi. C'était un peu agaçant et ça aurait été bien d'avoir une piscine réservée aux adultes. Les chaises longues et les parasols autour des piscines étaient réservés tôt dans la journée, donc si vous arriviez plus tard, vous n'aviez pas de chance. BARS Il y avait un bar de plage sympa, mais il était parfois très fréquenté et il y avait la queue. Nous avons trouvé que le bar près de la piscine d'activités pour enfants était une meilleure option, car il y était très calme. Nous avons bénéficié du service de plage pendant quelques jours. Il y avait également un bar sportif près du buffet principal, un endroit agréable où s'asseoir avant et après le dîner. TABAGISME Il y a quelques zones fumeurs dans le complexe et nous avons été ravis de constater que les fumeurs utilisaient bien ces zones. Nous n'avons vu personne fumer sur la plage ou autour des piscines. Je pense qu'il était autorisé de fumer sur les terrasses. RÉSUMÉ Bien que ce soit un très bel hôtel, nous n'y retournerions probablement pas car il était davantage adapté aux familles avec enfants. S'il y avait une section réservée aux adultes, nous y retournerions probablement.

Great Family Resort We traveled with a group of nine adults in their 60's and enjoyed our stay. Check in could have been a bit quicker, but it went smoothly. The electronic bracelets are a huge plus as you don't have to remember to carry your room key everywhere. The bracelet opens your door! ROOM We were in a regular room. The rooms are on the smaller side but comfortable. Everything worked well. Very nice towels and bedding. Our bath towels were changed daily when our room was cleaned. Lots of hot water. Our fridge was restocked during the week and coffee supplies were also replaced as needed. We had requested a top floor but were placed on the ground floor which was fine. We had a big iguana visit daily to sun himself on our patio. The room was mostly quiet at night although we did hear the drumming show one evening. We were in block 45. FOOD We found that the food was more than adequate with a good variety and theme days in both buffets. We ate lunch in the beach buffet every day. We also liked that you were greeted at the buffet entry and shown to a seat that was all set and ready. We have been to many resorts where you arrive to eat and cannot find a table or a cutlery. The serving staff were very attentive with bringing anything you requested and checked on our table many times. We did not like the a la carte reservation system at all. The line ups were crazy and just a waste of vacation time. You can only make 2 reservations for the week. The Fuji, Japanese restaurant was excellent. The chefs put on a great show and the food was fantastic. The Italian was okay, but nothing outstanding. BEACH The beach is very big with lots of trees. We found the entry to the ocean was bit rough and sand was quite course with bits of coral and rocks. Once in the ocean, the sand was smoother and the water was crystal clear. We saw lots of fish every day. The area is very popular for scuba and snorkeling and there were many excursions available. The big dock to the left of the resort was very active with boats coming and going. There are lots of chairs available on the beach but no umbrellas so spots under the shade of the palm trees were very popular. ACTIVITIES and ENTERTAINMENT There were lots of activities on the beach and at the pools everyday if you wanted to get involved. We only saw a couple of beach vendors during our stay. POOLS There are 3 main pools at the resort plus 2 smaller pools and they are always full of kids. There is a kids pool for kids 12 and under with a huge slide and fun water showers, but it was not busy at all. It seemed like the kids were always in the other pools and often spent their days in the pool with the swim up bar, taking over all the seats in the pool. They also took over the hot tub. This was a bit annoying and it would have been nice to have a designated adult only pool. The chairs and umbrellas around the pools were reserved early in the day, so if you arrived later, you were out of luck. BARS There was a nice beach bar but it would get very busy at times with a line up. We found going to the bar near the kids activity pool was a better option as it was very quiet. We did have beach service on a couple of days. There was also a sports bar near the main buffet which was a nice spot to sit before and after dinner. SMOKING There are a couple of smoking areas on the resort and we were pleased to find that the smokers were using those areas. We did not see anyone smoking on the beach or around the pools. I think people were allowed to smoke on their patios. SUMMARY Although this is a very nice resort, we likely would not return as it was more suited to families with kids. If there was an adult section, we would likely return.

Krystal Grand Cancun: Un complexe hôtelier formidable, on reviendra !

Cet hôtel était tout simplement génial. Du personnel aux chambres, en passant par la nourriture, les boissons et le service. C'était la première fois que mon copain venait au Mexique, et il a passé une semaine inoubliable ; nous avons tous les deux été émerveillés. Le fait qu'il ait fait un temps magnifique n'a pas gâché notre séjour ! Nous reviendrons sans aucun doute ! C'est aussi, à mon avis, le meilleur emplacement en bord de mer. J'adore le fait qu'il y ait ces rochers qui servent de brise- [... lire plus]lames pour ralentir les vagues.

Amazing Resort, will be coming back! This resort was absolutely amazing. From the staff, to the hotel rooms, to the food/drinks and service. It was my boyfriend’s first time in Mexico, and made his week, we both were amazed. It helps that the weather was beautiful as well! We will definitely be returning! Also the best beach location in my opinion. Love that they have that barrier rocks to slow the waves down.
