Playa Mazatlan: Plus jamais !

mauvaise nourriture, pas d'air conditionné, pas de réfrigérateur, personnel de bureau inutile, je pourrais continuer encore et encore mais..... pourquoi se donner la peine. Il n'y a pas de carte de l'endroit pour trouver des choses. Les informations dans la chambre sont inexistantes. une discothèque juste en dessous de ma chambre en bord de mer.

Never Again!! bad food, no air conditioning, no refrigerator, useless desk staff, I could go on and on but..... why bother. No map of the place to find things. In room information non existent. disco right under my beach front room.

Oceano Palace: Nice Resort

L'hôtel est propre, le personnel est sympathique mais la nourriture n'est vraiment pas bonne. Nous avons été très déçus et nous avons fini par aller manger à l'extérieur. Le bar de l'hôtel ferme tôt à 22h et il n'y a même pas de spectacles nocturnes. Notre chambre d'hôtel n'a même pas de sèche-cheveux et de réfrigérateur :( et il n'y a pas de service d'étage

The hotel is clean, the staffs are friendly but the food is really not good. We were very disappointed about it and we end up eating out. and the bar in the hotel close early at 10pm and they don't even have a nightly shows. Our hotel room doesn't even have a hair dryer and a fridge :( and they don't room service

El Cid Hotel Marina Beach: Fabuleuse station !

Le terrain était impeccable, les suites des chambres grandes, les lits confortables et très propres. Le personnel était amical et serviable. La marina était super propre et la pêche impressionnante ! Je recommanderais l'Aries Fleet pour un charter et Ramone et Pouillo pour le capitaine et le guide pour la pêche au Panga, ils étaient très bons.

Fabulous resort !! The grounds were impeccable the room suites large comfortable beds and very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. The Marina was super clean and the fishing awesome!! Would recommend the Aries Fleet for a charter and Ramone and Pouillo for Captain and guide for Panga fishing they were very good.

Riu Emerald Bay: Endroit agréable

Riu Emerald à Mazatland était un excellent complexe hôtelier, beaucoup de clients mais ils ont pu fournir beaucoup de chaises de piscine, des serviettes, de la bonne nourriture et des boissons La plage était très belle, la baignade dans l'océan était un peu difficile, mais la piscine non chauffée était rafraîchissante

Nice Place Riu Emerald in Mazatland was a great resort lot of guest but they were able to provide lots of pool chairs towels good food and drinks The beach was very nice the swimming in the ocean was a little rough but the unheated pool was refreshing I would go back again

Riu Emerald Bay: Propreté de l'établissement, bonne situation

Les chambres et le terrain étaient agréables et propres ! Bel hôtel. Le divertissement n'était pas aussi bon que nous l'avions espéré et le terrain n'était pas très luxuriant, mais c'est parce qu'il semble qu'ils ont mis de l'argent dans la nourriture et le personnel. Il y avait surtout des Mexicains en vacances, donc beaucoup de familles qui couraient partout, mais il y avait quand même de belles zones pour les adultes et un super bar pour les nageurs. Ce n'est pas vraiment un endroit pour fair [... lire plus]e la fête, bien qu'il y ait une discothèque où nous avons dansé quelques soirs. Nous nous sommes surtout détendus sur la plage pendant la journée. La plage est magnifique et immense, mais l'océan n'est pas vraiment baignable à cause des vagues ; si vous aimez le surf, il y en a beaucoup. Le quartier du Golden Sun, plus proche de la ville, offre un océan plus propice à la baignade. Le restaurant mexicain de l'hôtel (Tabasco) où nous sommes allés un soir a été décevant. Malheureusement, le personnel était grincheux et mon mari a été victime d'une intoxication alimentaire. Le repas lui-même n'était pas très bon - la nourriture mexicaine du buffet était bien meilleure. Ce qui est bien à Mazatlan, c'est que même si vous pouvez faire du troc, vous n'êtes pas harcelé par les vendeurs. C'est une ville très sûre avec beaucoup de restaurants sympas et une vie nocturne très animée. En ce qui concerne le Mexique, nous reviendrons ! Je pense que la prochaine fois, nous resterons dans un condo plus proche du Golden Sun District. Nous y sommes allés quelques nuits et avons trouvé de la nourriture incroyable et de l'alcool bon marché. 120 pesos pour 6 bières chez Lucky B's ! Je recommande Mazatlan sans réserve ! Si vous cherchez un hôtel tout compris, je vous recommande le Riu. Par contre, je vous déconseille tout ce qui a trait à Sun Wing. Les avions sont tellement exigus et sales. Les excursions que nous avons faites par leur intermédiaire au centre de villégiature étaient plutôt bonnes. L'excursion Old Town Night Out est un must. La croisière en catamaran au coucher du soleil a été un gaspillage d'argent. Bien qu'il soit agréable d'être sur l'océan, ce n'est pas ce que l'on croit. Il est préférable d'aller pêcher ou de se rendre à la marina pour trouver autre chose.

Clean Resort, Good Location The rooms and grounds were nice and clean! Beautiful hotel. The entertainment wasn't as good as we'd hoped and the grounds weren't very lush, but it's because it seems they've put their money into the food and staff. It was mostly Mexican's vacationing there, so lots of families running around, but still some nice adults areas and a great swim up bar. It's not really a party resort, although there is a disco which we danced at a couple nights. We really relaxed more than anything on the beach during the day. The beach was beautiful and huge, but the ocean isn't really swimmable because of the waves; if you like surfing though, there was lots of that going on. The Golden Sun district closer to town has more swimmable ocean. The Mexican restaurant in the hotel (Tabasco) we went to one night was a disappointment. Unfortunately the staff were cranky and my husband got food poisoning. The meal itself wasn't great either - the Mexican food in the buffet was much better. The nice thing about Mazatlan is while you can barter, you aren't being super harassed by the vendors. It's a very safe feeling town with lots of cool restaurants and a wicked night life. As far as Mexico goes we'll be back! I think next time we may stay in a condo though closer to the Golden Sun District. We went there a couple nights and found amazing food and cheap booze. 120 pesos for 6 beer at Lucky B's! I recommend Mazatlan wholeheartedly! If you are looking to do an all inclusive, I would recommend the Riu. I would recommend against anything to do with Sun Wing though. The planes are so cramped and dirty. The tours we did through them at the resort were pretty good though. The Old Town Night Out tour is a must. The Catamaran Sunset Cruise was a waste of money. While it was nice to be on the ocean, it's not what you think it would be. You're better off to go fishing or head to the marina and find something else.

Riu Emerald Bay: RIU EMERALD BAY

Nous avons séjourné à l'hôtel du 6 janvier au 13 janvier 2015. Le temps était parfait et la plage était très belle. Le personnel de l'hôtel était très travailleur, toujours en train de passer la serpillière, de ramasser et de nettoyer le complexe. Toutes les chambres ont une vue magnifique sur l'océan. Il y avait un grand choix de nourriture pour tous les clients. We stayed at the hotel January 6-January 13, 2015. The weather was perfect and the beach was very nice. The hotel staff were very hardworking, always mopping, picking up and cleaning the resort. All the rooms have a great ocean view. There was ample food choices for all guests. The only negative comments we have is the Internet service is incredibly inconsistent and painfully slow. This was a great value for a vacation

Pueblo Bonito Emerald Bay: Un centre de villégiature exceptionnel

Le restaurant Bistro avait un excellent menu, le chef cuisinier était génial pour créer de nouvelles choses si on le lui demandait, dans l'ensemble, mon expérience a été excellente

Amazing resort The hotel was nice and clean, everything was perfect, food was to delicious , staff were very nice and friendly, beach wasn't good! It was very rocky but resort's amazing pools made up for it , Bistro restaurant had a great menu, head chef was great in making new things if requested, overall my experience was great

Riu Emerald Bay: Très belle

Très bien mais la plage est trop rude et il devrait y avoir une cafetière dans la chambre bien que la nourriture soit excellente et qu'il y ait beaucoup de choix, j'y suis déjà allé et c'est aussi un bon endroit pour les enfants, j'y ai emmené mon petit-fils et il s'est éclaté

Après notre retour du Riu Palace à Puerto Vallarta, permettez-moi de vous dire que nous nous attendions à beaucoup plus. L'hôtel en lui-même était propre et agréable et la nourriture était bonne, mais ce qui nous a le plus manqué, c'est le service. Le personnel du restaurant était au mieux médiocre, amical mais inexistant. Le plus. Le matin, nous avions notre propre café et jus de fruit et il était rare que quelqu'un nettoie notre table. Poor service After coming back from the Riu Palace in Puerto Vallarta let me just say we expected way more. The hotel itself was clean and nice and the food was good but what we missed most was the service. The restaurant staff was poor at best, friendly but non existent. Most. Mornings we got our own coffee and juice and rarely did we see anyone cleaning our table. Getting a drink at the pool bar was all up to you. No pool side service. Let's just say we saved a lot on tipping

El Cid Resort Castilla: Déçu

L'hôtel était agréable et propre. Malheureusement, lorsque j'ai visité l'hôtel, les restaurants annoncés comme "all inclusive" ne l'étaient plus... bizarre et frustrant. Je ne reviendrai pas.

Disappointed The hotel was nice and clean. The location was great - Unfortunately, when I visited, the restaurants advertised as all inclusive were no longer all inclusive ...weird and frustrating. I won't be returning.

Riu Emerald Bay: vous en avez pour votre argent !

L'hôtel était très mauvais. L'enregistrement s'est déroulé sans problème et rapidement, mais l'aéroport de retour était un véritable gâchis. Ils nous ont emmenés 4 heures plus tôt et il y avait un chariot de nourriture juste après la sécurité qui nous a fait payer 14 dollars américains pour deux sacs de chips et une bière. C'était la pire sortie d'un pays, terrible, terrible, terrible, attendre 3 heures sans nourriture ni boisson mais avec un chariot et avec une amie enceinte voyageant avec vous [... lire plus], ce n'est pas une situation saine. S'il vous plaît, avertissez les gens de manger avant la sécurité. L'hôtel était bon pour les familles, pas bon du tout pour les jeunes. Très calme peut-être ok pour les couples mais beaucoup d'enfants et de locaux. L'hôtel était si calme que tout était fermé et si silencieux à 22 heures ! Les services dans les restaurants et les bars étaient nuls et ils s'adressaient certainement à la clientèle locale. Les Canadiens étaient toujours les derniers à être servis, même lorsqu'ils faisaient la queue avec un pourboire à la main ! La nourriture était horrible !!!! il y avait de la variété mais pas de grande qualité.... J'ai mangé des pâtes au dîner pendant une semaine. Les restaurants à la carte étaient également horribles. Le restaurant italien n'était qu'un buffet et il était pire que le buffet normal ! Et la plupart des soirs, ils étaient fermés, les réservations n'étant prises que les jours indiqués. Les spectacles nocturnes étaient ennuyeux et les boissons n'étaient pas terribles non plus. Le café était dégoûtant ! J'ai séjourné dans de nombreux hôtels riu et ce n'était pas le standard riu que j'ai vu. Il y a aussi eu une agression sexuelle sur la plage d'une compatriote canadienne, ce qui était triste et perturbant pour le moins, mais le personnel de l'hôtel a fait ce qu'il a pu pour aider, donc au moins cela. Mais dans l'ensemble, la vue et les plages étaient spectaculaires et un super petit marché et restaurant se trouvait à proximité, ce qui nous a permis de nous reposer de la nourriture de l'hôtel, mais tout était super cher, à notre grande surprise Si c'était plus de 1000, je pense que j'aurais été sévèrement déçue, mais nous avons fait une bonne affaire et nous avons passé des vacances agréables et relaxantes. Donc pour 880 tout compris, je ne peux pas trop me plaindre ! je n'ai pas eu l'occasion d'aller à l'aéroport, mais j'ai eu l'occasion d'aller à l'aéroport, mais j'ai eu l'occasion d'aller à l'aéroport et d'y aller. Mais c'était une bonne expérience et nous avons rencontré beaucoup de nouveaux amis avec qui nous parlons encore tous les jours.

get what you pay for! The hotel was so so. Check in was seamless and fast however but the airport home was a mess and they took us 4 hours early and there was a food cart only passed security that charged 14 American for two bags of chips and a beer. That was the worst exit of a country ever terrible, terrible, terrible waiting 3 hours with no food or drinks but from a cart and with a pregnant friend traveling with you not a healthy situation. Please warn people to eat before security. The hotel was Good for families not good for young people at all. Very quiet maybe ok for couples but alot of kids and locals. The hotel was so quiet everything was shut down and sooooo quiet by 10 pm! Services in restaurants and bars sucked and they certainly catered to the local patrons. Canadians were always last to be served even when standing in line with tip money in hand ! Food was horrible!!!! there was variety but not great quality... I ate pasta for dinner for a week. The al a carte restaurants were awful as well. The Italian one was only a buffet and a worse buffet than the normal one! And most nights they were closed, reservations were only taken in days they give you. Night shows were boring and the drinks were not great either. Coffee was disgusting!! I have stayed in many riu hotels and this was not what a riu standard I have seen. Late night snacks were meat and bread buns left in a fridge all day and molded fruit! there was also a sexual assault on the beach of a fellow Canadian that was sad and disrupting to say the least, hotel staff did what they could to help so at least that. But all and all the view and beaches were spectacular and a great little market and restaurant was near by was a great reprieve from hotel food but everything was actually super expensive to our suprise so it's good we paid so little for our trip! If it was more than 1000 I think I would have been severely disappointed for sure, however we got an amazing deal and we got away and had a nice relaxing vacation. So for 880 all in including everything I can't complain too much! :) lol definitely checked off the bucket list and won't be back to mazatlan. But a good experience and met alot of new friends that we are still talking to daily.

Riu Emerald Bay: Excellent centre de villégiature !

La nourriture était excellente ! L'hôtel était propre ! Le personnel était génial ! Les piscines étaient bien et mon fils a vraiment apprécié le club pour enfants Riuland. Les spectacles étaient bons tous les soirs. Nous avons séjourné pendant le réveillon du Nouvel An et le repas était INCROYABLE ! J'ai été très impressionné. La plus grande déception a été le restaurant mexicain Tabasco. Nous l'avons fait. Nous l'avons apprécié. Nous nous attendions à un menu un peu meilleur, mais c'est tout.

Great resort! Food was great! Hotel was clean! Staff was awesome! Pools were good and my son really enjoyed the kids club riuland. The shows were good every night. We stayed during New Years eve and the meal was AMAZING! I was very impressed. The biggest disappointment was the Tabasco Mexican resturant. We did. It enjoy it. We were expecting a bit better menu but that's it.

Riu Emerald Bay: VOYAGE RIU BAIE D'EMERAUDE, 25 NOVEMBRE 2014

C'était notre troisième voyage au Riu Emerald Bay et une fois de plus nous avons fait un voyage extraordinaire ! Les chambres sont superbes et le service et le personnel sont toujours excellents ! Le complexe est toujours aussi bien entretenu que lorsque nous y sommes allés pour la première fois en 2010. Il n'a pas du tout vieilli. Parfois, quelques années plus tard, nous avons remarqué que d'autres stations se sont dégradées, mais pas celle-ci. Nous aimons aussi marcher le long de la plage jusq [... lire plus]u'au café et aux petits magasins de souvenirs qui se trouvent à quelques minutes de là. Nous nous y sentons toujours en sécurité !

RIU EMERALD BAY TRIP, NOVEMBER 25, 2014 This was our third trip to Riu Emerald Bay and once again we had an amazing trip!! The rooms are great and the service & staff are always great!! The resort is still as well kept as when we first went there in 2010. It has not aged at all. Sometimes a few years later we've noticed other resorts have gone down hill but not this one. We also love to walk down the beach to the coffee shop & the little souvenir stores just minutes away. We always feel very safe there!

El Cid Resort Castilla: beau complexe hôtelier

L'hôtel était charmant et le service excellent. Mes seuls reproches sont que vous ne pouviez pas être sur la plage sans être harcelé par des vendeurs et que dans le hall de l'hôtel, nous étions dérangés par des personnes en time share tous les jours. Nous aurions également préféré qu'il y ait plus de touristes à l'hôtel et moins de Mexicains. Nous avons aimé les Mexicains mais nous ne nous sommes pas sentis inclus car la plupart d'entre eux étaient avec leur famille et leurs amis et parlaient to [... lire plus]us espagnol.

lovely resort The hotel was lovely & the service was excellent. My only complaints were that you couldn't be on the beach without being harassed by venders & in the hotel loby we were bothered by time share people every day. Also we would have liked it better if there were more tourists at the hoteĺ & less Mexicans. We liked the Mexicans but didn't feel included as most of them were with family & friends & all speaking Spanish.

Riu Emerald Bay: grand hôtel !

Propre, très bien situé, belle vue, personnel sympathique et bonne nourriture. Les ascenseurs étaient un peu lents à certaines périodes, mais dans l'ensemble, l'expérience a été excellente. De superbes balcons et une belle plage. J'y retournerais sans hésiter.

great hotel! Clean, great location, great view nice staff and good food. Elevators were a bit slow during certain periods but overall a great experience. Great balconies and a nice beach. Would definitely go back.

Riu Emerald Bay: Merveilleux centre de villégiature - j'y reviendrais sans hésiter !

La chambre était très propre ! Le personnel était sympathique et arrangeant. La piscine est bien entretenue. Grande variété de nourriture tous les jours. Il y avait une variété de divertissements la semaine où nous étions là, ce qui était agréable le soir. Dans l'ensemble, nous avons été très satisfaits du Rio et nous y retournerions certainement. On ne peut pas battre le prix auquel nous l'avons acheté.

Wonderful resort-would definitely visit again! The room was very clean!! The staff friendly and accommodating. A well maintained pool area. Great variety of food every day. There was a variety of entertainment the week we were there which was nice at night. Overall we were quite pleased with the Rio and would go back for sure. You can't beat the price we got it for.

Riu Emerald Bay: bonne affaire

bonne affaire... prenez une chambre aux étages inférieurs et prenez les escaliers. sinon les attentes dans les ascenseurs peuvent être ennuyeuses. La nourriture et le service sont très bons. La plage est belle, les rochers sont magnifiques et le coucher de soleil n'a pas son pareil.

good deal good deal...get a room on the lower floors and take the stairs. otherwise the elevator waits can be annoying. The food and service is very good. Beach is nice, beautiful rocks and a sunset second to none.

Riu Emerald Bay: Tout ce qui s'y trouve est de première qualité

Nous sommes allés dans ce complexe 3 fois au cours des 4 dernières années et ce fut une expérience merveilleuse à chaque fois, la plage, la nourriture, les chambres. Tout est excellent. Nous recommandons vivement ce complexe. Lorsque nous nous rendrons au Mexique cet hiver, nous avons la ferme intention d'aller dans un complexe Riu.

Everything there is all top notch We have been to this resort 3 times in the last 4 years and it has been a wonderful experience each time,the beach,the food, the rooms. It is all great. We fully recommend this resort. When we travel to Mexico this winter we fully intend to go to a Riu resort.

Riu Emerald Bay: Ce centre de villégiature était incroyable....

Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour au Riu Emerald Bay au Mexique. Le personnel était extrêmement sympathique et le terrain bien entretenu. Nous avons rencontré de nombreuses personnes et avons apprécié notre séjour de deux semaines. Je l'ai recommandé à plusieurs de nos familles et amis qui voyagent. J'espère y retourner un jour.

This resort was amazing.... We truly enjoyed our time at the Riu Emerald Bay in Mexico. The staff was extremely friendly, grounds well kept. We met many people there and enjoyed our two week stay. I have recommended it to many of our travelling families and friends. Hoping to return one day.
