Grand centre de villégiature !

Très nouveau, propre, grand centre de villégiature avec une nourriture et des divertissements excellents. Une nouvelle section a été ouverte pendant que nous y étions, comprenant une zone de toboggans aquatiques et deux autres piscines. Il y a beaucoup de piscines parmi lesquelles choisir et il n'y a pas de problème pour trouver des endroits où s'asseoir avec un grand groupe.

Great Resort! Very new, clean, big resort with great food and entertainment. A new section opened while we there that included a water slides area and 2 other pools. Lots of pools to choose from and no trouble finding areas to sit with a large group.

Excellent séjour

Pour - Nouveau, propre, moderne, personnel sympathique, excellent buffet. Bon club. Beaucoup de choses à faire. Plage géniale. Contre- Les divertissements de jour sont répétitifs et peuvent être trop vulgaires -Les animations nocturnes sont tout à fait à l'opposé, plus adaptées aux anciens. -Les gens tombent dans la piscine ou doivent être raccompagnés en chaise roulante jusqu'à leur chambre -Au milieu de notre voyage, le resort s'est agrandi, les restaurants ont été fermés au lieu de 7 [... lire plus] jours par semaine -Problèmes d'eau intermittents Cela dit, dans l'ensemble, nous avons fait un excellent voyage et nous reviendrons ici !

Great stay Pros- New, Clean, Modern, Friendly staff, Great Buffet. Good club. Lots to do. Wicked beach. Cons- Day time entertainment is repetitive and can be too vulgar -Night time entertainment is complete opposite, more suited for old timers. -Overserving— people falling in pool area or having to be wheel chair escorted back to room -Mid way through our trip resort expanded, restaurants closed instead of 7days wk -Intermittant water issues That being said overall great trip and would stay here again!

Un lieu de villégiature fantastique.

J'ai séjourné au Riu Republica du 12 au 19 novembre 2017. Station très moderne avec un grand concept pour le spectacle de nuit. Les sièges dans le théâtre se prolongent dans une grande zone de sièges adjacente à un grand bar. Tous les clients ont la possibilité de regarder le spectacle et j'estimerais que 500 personnes et plus doivent être présentes chaque soir. Grande plage longue et large. Beaucoup d'ombre et de lits. L'océan était un peu agité avec de grosses vagues, mais je suis sûr qu [... lire plus]e ce n'est pas le cas tout le temps. Le personnel d'animation est le meilleur que j'ai vu. Le chef "bugs bunny" a une énergie incroyable et dirige son équipe de tôt le matin à tard le soir. La nourriture au buffet était abondante et très bonne. Les restaurants étaient tous un mélange de plats à la carte et de buffets. Beaucoup d'options différentes. Republica 1 a ouvert la veille de notre départ. Plus de restaurants, de piscines et de toboggans aquatiques. Superbes chambres, beaucoup d'espace. Personnel très attentif dans les restaurants et le hall d'entrée.

Fantastic resort. Stayed at the Riu Republica November 12 thru November 19 2017. Very modern resort with great concept for the night show. Seating in theatre extends out into large seating area adjacent to large bar. All guests have opportunity to watch the show and i would estimate 500 people plus must be in attendance each night. Great beach long and wide. Lots of shade and lots of beds. Ocean was a little rough with big waves although I'm sure not like that all the time. Animation staff are the best I have seen. The leader " bugs bunny" has unbelievable energy and runs his crew from early morning to late at night. Food at buffet was plentiful and very good. Restaurants were all a mixture of a la carte and buffet. Lots of different options. Republica 1 opened up the day before we left. More restaurants pools and waterslides . Great rooms lots of space. Very attentive staff at restaurants and lobby area.

A passé un excellent moment !

L'hôtel était très bien ! La chambre était très agréable. La vue sur l'océan depuis la chambre était superbe. C'était tellement relaxant de s'asseoir sur le balcon et de regarder le monde passer. On s'est beaucoup amusé au bar de la piscine ! La nourriture était bonne (certains restaurants étaient meilleurs que d'autres, mais c'est un choix personnel). la plage était géniale !

had an awesome time! Hotel was great! The room was very nice. The ocean view from the room was great. it was so relaxing to sit out on the balcony and watch the world go by. Tons of fun at the swim up pool bar! The food was good (some restaurants were better than others, but that's a personal food choice). the beach was awesome!

Excellent centre de villégiature !

Mon mari et moi sommes rentrés de Punta Cana vendredi après un séjour de 7 jours. Dans l'ensemble, nous avons été très satisfaits du Riu Republica. L'hôtel était de taille décente et très bien entretenu. Les chambres étaient super propres et entretenues tous les jours. La nourriture et les boissons étaient également bonnes. Le personnel était très sympathique et l'équipe de divertissement a fait un excellent travail. La plage était magnifique et très propre. Je recommanderais sans hésiter cet hô [... lire plus]tel ! :)

Great resort! My husband and I returned from Punta Cana on Friday after a 7 day stay. Overall we were very pleased with Riu Republica. The hotel was a decent size and very well kept. Rooms were super clean and maintained everyday. The food.and drinks were also good. Staff was very friendly and the entertainment crew did a great job. The beach was beautiful and very clean. I would definitely recommend this hotel! :)

Une lune de miel fabuleuse !

Nous avons choisi cet hôtel pour notre lune de miel. Nous sommes un couple d'âge mûr et nous n'étions pas très convaincus par le fait que l'hôtel soit réservé aux adultes, mais c'était génial ! Les piscines se trouvent entre l'hôtel et la plage et sont disposées de la façon suivante : piscine de fête (avec bar sur la droite), piscine tranquille sur la gauche (avec un autre bar) et piscine d'action moyenne et bruyante au milieu. Le choix est parfait ! L'équipe d'animation est excellente !  [... lire plus] La nourriture est également très variée. Tout est beau et le goût est généralement bon. Il y a toujours beaucoup à manger ! Le steak house est bon, la première fois pas très bon, la deuxième fois incroyable ! Le restaurant italien était correct, mais j'ai franchement préféré le buffet. Nous n'avons pas essayé les restaurants japonais ou les restaurants raffinés, mais c'était bien d'avoir la possibilité d'entrer dans n'importe quel restaurant à la carte sans avoir besoin de réserver. Notre chambre était superbe, très propre, moderne et le lit était très confortable. Nous étions dans l'aile centrale, face à l'océan, au troisième étage. La vue était incroyable ! La plage était incomparable. Le meilleur sable jamais vu, pas de rochers, pas de coquillages, bien que l'eau soit parfois trop agitée pour être sur les kayaks etc....e complexe est sur l'océan Atlantique et non sur la mer des Caraïbes, l'eau est très chaude cependant. La plage est l'endroit idéal pour les amateurs de bronzage et les romantiques. La nouvelle partie de l'hôtel n'était pas encore ouverte mais les chuchotements disaient que c'était pour la fin du mois de novembre. C'est superbe ! Le meilleur atout de cet hôtel est son personnel. Nous n'avons pas eu la chambre que nous attendions à notre arrivée et j'étais très contrariée. Victor, à la réception, a vraiment fait des pieds et des mains pour arranger les choses le lendemain. Les serveurs sont des personnes très sympathiques et joyeuses qui semblent toujours travailler dur. Et encore une fois, l'équipe de divertissement est extraordinaire... Oui, assurez-vous de voir le spectacle de Michael Jackson du mardi soir, et restez jusqu'à la fin, c'est le meilleur moment ! Une mention spéciale pour "sexy coffee" qui s'occupe de tous les divertissements à la piscine silencieuse, il est hilarant et si charmant ! J'ai hâte de revenir ! Nous séjournerons certainement au Ruis à l'avenir et nous reviendrons sans aucun doute ici !

Fabulous honeymoon! We chose this hotel for our honeymoon. We are a mature couple and weren't too sure about the adults only, but it was great! The pools are between the hotel and the beach and are laid out from party pool (with bar on the right), to a quiet pool on the left (with another swim up bar), and a medium action/noise pool in the middle. You have a perfect choice! The entertainment staff is excellent! There is also a wide variety of food. All looks great and taste is usually also good. There is always lots to eat! The steak house is good, first time not so great , second time amazing! The Italian was, ok but I honestly preferred the buffet. We didn't try the Japanese or the fine dining, But it was nice to have the option to just walk into any a la carte without needing a reservation. Our room was great very clean, modern and the bed was very comfortable. We were in the middle wing, ocean front, third floor. The view was amazing! The beach was unparalleled. The best sand ever, no rocks, no shells, although the water is sometimes too rough to be on the kayaks etc....the resort is on the Atlantic Ocean not on the Caribbean Sea, the water is very warm though. The beach is definitely the place to be for sunbathers and romantics. The new part of the hotel wasn't yet open but the whispers were saying by the end of November. It looks great! The best thing about this hotel is the staff. We didn't have the room we had expected when we arrived and I was quite upset. Victor at the front desk really went out of his way and made it right the next day. The servers are very friendly, happy people who seem to always be working hard. And AGAIN the entertainment staff are amazing...yes make sure you see the Tuesday night Michael Jackson show, and stay to the end, it's the best part! Special shout out to "sexy coffee" who runs all the entertainment at the quiet pool, he is hilarious and so charming! Can't wait to return!! Will definitely stay at Ruis in the future and will definitely be back here!

Beaucoup d'espace pour grandir

Ce nouveau RIU est similaire aux autres en termes de qualité de service et de nourriture. Ma chambre avec vue sur le jardin était en fait une vue sur un chantier de construction. Les coups de marteau-piqueur réguliers près du hall d'entrée ont été une source de mécontentement. Le buffet était décent et les restaurants à la carte étaient aléatoires. La plage était magnifique, mais il faut savoir que l'eau est agitée. Notre téléphone a dû être réparé trois fois et notre coffre-fort avait besoin d' [... lire plus]être réparé. Beaucoup de petites fourmis dans notre chambre d'hôtel. Les taxis gratuits pour se rendre dans les magasins étaient agréables. Les employés de l'hôtel ont toujours été gentils et aimables malgré le fait qu'ils aient une connaissance limitée de l'anglais. Obeide à la réception était un délice. Dans l'ensemble, l'hôtel est plutôt un quatre étoiles. Si vous voulez simplement échapper au stress de la vie et profiter d'une pause, ce complexe hôtelier présente un bon rapport qualité-prix - j'ai payé environ 1200 euros.

Lots of room to grow This new RIU is similar to the others in terms of quality of service and food. My gardenview room was really a view of a construction site. Regular jackhammering near the lobby was a turn off. The buffet was decent and the a la carte restaurants were hit and miss. The beach was beautiful - keep in mind that the water is rough. Our phone had to be repaired three times and our safe needed fixing. Lots of small ants in our hotel room. Free taxis to shopping was nice. Hotel employees were always kind and good natured despite the fact that they have limited knowledge of English. Obeide at the front desk was a delight. Overall the hotel is more of a four star. If you simply want to get away from your stress in life and enjoy a break this resort is good value for money - I paid about 1200.

Magnifique complexe hôtelier propre !

Grande station, beaucoup d'espace Pour tout le monde. Chambres et terrains propres. Magnifique bord de mer et 3 grandes piscines où l'on peut choisir entre la fête et la tranquillité. Aucune réservation n'est nécessaire pour les cartes à la carte, c'est le premier arrivé, premier servi. Nous étions un groupe de 6 ou 8 pour la plupart des repas et nous n'avons jamais eu à attendre pour être assis ensemble

Beautiful clean resort! Large resort lots of room For everyone. Clean rooms and grounds. Beautiful beachfront and 3 large pools where one can choose the party crowd or the quiet crowd. No reservations required for the a la cartes was nice first come first serve. We were a group of 6 or 8 for most meals and never had to wait to be seated together

TRÈS BONNE STATION POUR LE PRIX

LES CHAMBRES SONT TRÈS BELLES ET NETTOYÉES TOUS LES JOURS. NOUS N'AVONS UTILISÉ LE STEAKHOUSE QU'UNE SEULE FOIS, IL ÉTAIT BIEN MAIS LE BUFFET ÉTAIT MEILLEUR.

DES VACANCES FANTASTIQUES

c'était la première fois que nous partions seuls sans enfants. Nous avons passé un très bon moment, la station était propre et très récente, le personnel était amical et répondait rapidement à vos demandes. L'équipe de divertissement était formidable ! !!!! je recommande vivement ce centre de vacances ! !!!!

FANTASTIC HOLIDAY this was the first time we were every away alone without children. we had a great time, the resort was clean and very new, the staff was friendly and quick to respond to your requests. The entertainment crew was great !!!!! fully recommend this resort !!!!!

Tout était extraordinaire : la nourriture, les divertissements, les boissons, le service, la piscine, la plage. Il y avait des spectacles tous les soirs et les danseurs étaient vraiment bons. Le buffet était énorme et le restaurant de steaks était bon aussi. J'ai bu beaucoup de daiquiris à la fraise au bar de la piscine. La plage était magnifique et la piscine était énorme aussi. Amazing resort Everything was amazing from the food, entertainment, drinks, service, pool, beach. They had nightly shows going on, and the entertainment dancers were really good. Buffet was massive and steak restaurant was good as well. Had a lot of strawberry daiquiris at the pool bar. The beach was beautiful and pool was massive as well. They even had a foam party one day which was a lot of fun. There was always something going on at the resort which was nice.

J'ai apprécié ce centre de villégiature. Il y avait beaucoup de choses à faire et quelque chose pour tout le monde. L'équipe d'animation était formidable, mais j'ai l'impression que les spectacles et les animations nocturnes ont besoin d'être améliorés. La plage est magnifique et les chambres et le complexe sont toujours propres.

Amazing resort I enjoyed this resort. There was a lot to do and something for everyone. The entertainment staff was great but I feel like the shows and night entertainment needs a boost. Beach is stunning and rooms and resort were always clean.

L'hôtel était toujours propre. Le personnel était formidable ! Nous avons toujours mangé au buffet parce qu'il y avait une telle variété de nourriture. L'équipe d'animation était excellente et très sympathique. C'était notre deuxième séjour dans cet hôtel et j'y retournerais sans hésiter.

Love this resort! The hotel was always clean. The staff was amazing! We always ate at the buffet because there was such a variety of food. The animation team was excellent very friendly. This was our 2nd time there and I would definitely go back.

Fantastic Resort

De la réception aux chambres, le service est excellent. Très serviable et sympathique. La nourriture, les serveurs et les serveurs de bar étaient très sympathiques. Les divertissements à l'hôtel sont incroyables et les animateurs de l'hôtel à la piscine sont pleins d'énergie, sympathiques et amusants. En particulier Chanty et surtout Bernice. From the Front desk to the rooms...excellent service. Very helpful and nice. The food, waiters and bar tenders were very friendly. The entertainment at the hotel amazing and the hotel entertainers at the pool full of energy, friendly and fun. Especially Chanty and mostly Bernice. Always a pleasure to visit. Thank you

Nice Resort

Grand choix de nourriture, belle plage, réception extraordinaire. Seulement je voudrais être amélioré l'équipe de divertissement. Les chambres étaient spacieuses et propres. Ce complexe est très similaire au RIU Playa Blanca au Panama

l'hôtel est neuf et assez propre, bien que certaines choses ne fonctionnent pas très bien, notamment la clé pour ouvrir la porte... tout le monde retournait à la réception lorsque nous sommes arrivés parce qu'elle ne fonctionnait pas - et nous étions un grand groupe de plus de 30 personnes ! la plage est magnifique et la nourriture aussi. c'est un endroit plus festif que ce que nous pensions et nous avons été réveillés toutes les nuits par des gens qui criaient dans les couloirs et brisaient de [... lire plus]s vitres. ils font du bon travail pour nettoyer et garder l'endroit aussi propre que possible, mais ce n'était pas une expérience agréable. la salle de sport était agréable mais petite et toujours bondée - compte tenu du type de personnes qui fréquentent les hôtels "festifs", il aurait été bon qu'elle soit un peu plus grande. les 4 piscines étaient étonnantes et nécessaires et allaient d'une piscine de fête à une piscine plus calme avec de la musique locale - c'est là que nous nous sommes retrouvés quand nous n'étions pas à la plage. pas de problème avec les serviettes, nous les changions souvent plus d'une fois par jour. je sais que l'hôtel ne peut rien y faire, mais le temps était aussi extraordinaire ! nous avons passé un excellent séjour, mais nous ne reviendrons probablement pas - trop grand et trop bruyant pour nous

It was great the hotel is new and fairly clean although some things dont work so well, including the key to open the door... everybody was going back to reception when we arrived because it did not work - and we were a large group of over 30 people! the beach is amazing and so is the food. it's more of a party place than we thought and we were woken up every single night with people screaming in corridors and breaking glass. they do a good job of cleaning things up and keeping it as clean as possible, but that was not a nice experience. the gym was nice but small and always packed - considering the type of people who attend "party" hotels, it would have been nice if it would have been a bit bigger. the 4 pools were amazing and needed and ranged from a party pool to a quieter pool with local music - which is where we hanged out when not at the beach. no problems with towels, we often changed them more than once a day. i know the hotel cant do anything about it, but the weather was also amazing! it was a great stay but we probably will not be back - too big and noisy for us

Le Riu Republica est un très beau complexe hôtelier avec une cuisine excellente, des animations extraordinaires, des chambres modernes et propres. J'ai adoré la paroi en verre de la douche qui donne sur la chambre La chambre. J'ai fait ce voyage seule et j'ai adoré chaque minute. Le spa était très relaxant avec son hammam et ses bassins chauds et froids. J'ai adoré la plage où l'on peut marcher des kilomètres. J'ai hâte d'y retourner. Demandez Armstrong au bar et Isael au restaurant buffet. Mar [... lire plus]iel au spa m'a donné le meilleur massage anti-stress que j'ai jamais eu. J'y retournerai bientôt !

First time all inclusive and had the time of my life! The Riu Republica was a beautiful resort with great food, amazing entertainment , the rooms where modern and clean. I loved the glass wall in the shower going into The bedroom. I went on this trip by myself and loved every minute. The spa was so relaxing with the steam room and cold and hot plunge pools. I loved the beach and you could walk for miles. Can't wait to go back. Ask for Armstrong at the bar and Isael in the buffet restaurant. Mariel in the spa gave me the best stress cure massage I've ever had. I'll be going back soon!'

Riu Republica

Belle plage, belles piscines, belles chambres, nourriture épouvantable !!!! Le site est très bien entretenu, il y a beaucoup de choses à faire et à ne pas faire, il y a beaucoup de choses à faire et à ne pas faire. Ce qui a fait notre journée, c'est la plage, magnifique, on ne peut pas se tromper, l'eau est magnifique et surtout relaxante car c'est un complexe réservé aux adultes. Les chambres sont propres et la station est nouvelle, il y a donc beaucoup de construction en cours. Nous avions [... lire plus] réservé une vue jardin et nous avons eu une vue construction, quand j'ai demandé au concierge, il m'a dit qu'ils étaient complets et qu'ils ne pouvaient pas nous déplacer. Une autre chose, Sunquest doit arrêter de vendre des forfaits dans l'avion, puis le jour suivant lors de la réunion avec leur représentant et ensuite continuellement sur le resort, allez, je suis là pour me détendre, si je veux une excursion, je la demande. Si vous voulez des boissons, vous devrez rester près de la piscine, le service à la plage est inexistant. Il n'y a pas de bar sur la plage bien qu'on nous ait dit qu'il y en aurait un dans le futur.

Beautiful beach, nice pools, nice rooms,terrible food!!!! They say this is a 5 star resort YES all but the "food", the restaurants are all buffet except for one but that didn't matter cause the food there was probably the worst, sushi forget it. What made our day was the beach, gorgeous you cant go wrong, water amazing and most of all relaxing cause its a adults only resort. Rooms are clean and resort is new so there is a lot of construction going on. We booked garden view and got construction view, when I asked the concierge he said that they were sold out and couldn't move us. One more thing Sunquest needs to stop upselling packages on the plane, then the next days meeting with their rep and then continuously on the resort, come on Im there to relax if I want an excursion Ill ask for it. If you want drinks you'll have to stay by the pool, the service at the beach is non existent. There are no bars on the beach although we were told that one would be built in the future.

nous avons vraiment apprécié l'emplacement sur la plage, les vagues étaient si amusantes, l'hôtel était propre et intéressant, la nourriture était bonne avec beaucoup de choix, le seul inconvénient était le service le matin qui était vraiment lent et très attentif, mais dans l'ensemble, j'y retournerais sans aucun doute

great resort we really enjoyed the location on the beach the waves were si much fun,clean and intertaining resort,food was hood with lots of selection,the only bummer was service in the morning was really slow and very attentive,but on all I would definitely go back
