Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Un hôtel extraordinaire !

Nous avons pris l'avion avec Sunwing et, à notre grande surprise, le vol au champagne était une blague ! Il n'y a plus de repas servi (même pas de snacks) et le "champagne" est du vin mousseux servi dans une minuscule coupe d'environ 1" de haut.... loin de la publicité montrée ! Quant à l'hôtel... incroyable ! Définitivement une vraie étoile 5+. L'attention portée aux détails est de 5+ ! Nous nous sommes enregistrés pendant le trajet en bus jusqu'à l'hôtel. Nous sommes descendus du bus, avons p [... lire plus]ris une boisson et un morceau de chocolat frais, sommes allés à la réception, avons remis nos formulaires d'inscription remplis pendant le trajet en bus, avons reçu nos bracelets et sommes allés dans notre chambre. Tout le monde dans l'hôtel s'est donné pour mission de nous rendre heureux. La nourriture est divine, c'est la première fois en 8 ans que je pars en vacances et que je prends du poids ! Tout était aussi bon qu'il en avait l'air ! C'est vraiment une expérience unique. Je reviendrai !

Amazing hotel! We flew in with Sunwing and much to our surprise the champagne flight was a joke! There is no longer a meal served (not even snacks) and the "champagne" is sparkling wine served in a tiny cup about 1" high.... far from the publicity shown! As for the hotel... amazing! Definitely a true star 5+. Attention to detail 5+! We basically checked in on the bus ride to the resort. We got off the bus grabbed a drink and a piece of fresh made chocolate, walked to the desk, handed our registration forms completed on the bus ride in, got our bracelets and off to our room. Everyone in the hotel made it their mission to make us happy. The food is heavenly, this is the first time in 8 years that I go on vacation and gain weight! Everything tasted as good as it looked!! It's definitely an experience of a lifetime. I will be returning!!

Riu Republica: Rui Republica Punta Cana

Très grand hôtel mais personnel très sympathique. Tous les restaurants étaient des buffets, sauf le Steak House, où l'on ne pouvait commander que les plats principaux. Pas un seul restaurant n'avait de toilettes ! Il fallait donc retourner dans sa chambre (ce qui pour nous était une très longue marche) ou se rendre aux toilettes du hall. Pour un nouvel hôtel, ce n'était pas exagéré pour un Rui. Nous avons séjourné dans 3 ou 4 Rui dans le passé et avons trouvé celui-ci un peu décevant.

Very big hotel but very friendly staff. All the restaurants were buffet style except the Steak house, and there you only got to order your Main coarses. Not one Restaurant had a washroom!! So you had to go back to your room(which for us was a very long walk) Or head back to the Lobby washroom. For being a new hotel it was not over the top for a Rui. We have stayed at 3 or 4 Rui's in the past and found this one a little disappointing.

Senator Puerto Plata Hotel: Bonne cuisine, pas de discothèque ni de service à la carte sur réservation

Excellent centre de villégiature ! La nourriture était chaude, fraîche et bien assaisonnée. Le personnel était très attentif et énergique. Le swim up bar est un plus, et les deux piscines permettent de s'asseoir plusieurs fois autour de la piscine. Conseil : évitez les boutiques de Caribbean street (vendeurs insistants, marchandises hors de prix). Marchez 5 minutes le long de la plage et vous verrez les cabanes d'artisans. Vous y trouverez de belles sculptures en bois, du café, de l'alcool, d [... lire plus]es chaussures d'eau, etc Inconvénients : pour la carte, ils n'acceptent pas les réservations. Il est servi en fonction des 100 premières personnes qui font la queue. Le restaurant ouvre à 18h30, et les gens nous ont conseillé de faire la queue avant 17h30 pour être sûrs d'avoir une place. Inconvénients : pas de discothèque sur place. Vous avez accès à la discothèque du RIU voisin, mais vos boissons ne sont pas incluses.

Great Food, No Disco or Pre-booked a la carte Great resort! The food was hot, fresh, and well seasoned. The staff were very attentive and energetic. The swim up bar is a plus, and their two pools allows for multiple seats around the pool. Tip: avoid the shops on Caribbean street (pushy vendors, overpriced merchandise). Take a 5 minute walk down the beach and you'll see the craft huts. Beautiful wood carvings, coffee, alcohol, water shoes, etc are available there! Cons: for the a la carte, they do not accept reservations. It is served based on the first 100 people in line. The restaurant opens at 6:30pm, and people advised that to ensure seating that we be in line by 5:30pm. Cons: no disco on site. You have access to the disco at the neighbouring RIU, however your drinks will not be all inclusive.

Riu Emerald Bay: DEUXIÈME MAISON

l'hôtel et le personnel sont au delà de vos espérances.la nourriture et le service sont bons.la réception est un peu chancelante de temps en temps le personnel de l'hôtel et le personnel dépassent toutes les espérances la plupart du temps, il n'y a pas d'autre solution que d'aller à l'aéroport pour se rendre à l'hôtel, mais il y a un autre moyen de se rendre à l'aéroport les cartes de touristes mexicains doivent être remplies dans ce petit espace avant la douane, quelle blague... J'adore cet  [... lire plus]endroit, mais la compagnie aérienne est nulle.

SECOND HOME the hotel and staff are beyond your expentations.good food and service .front desk is a little shaky some times like a run around for a late check out .the sad pat is not the hotel its the flight times.sunwing does not deserve to be able to do rius they treat everyone like crap if you have been to this resort you know about Mexican tourist cards you have to fill them out in that little area before customs what a joke .love this place but the airline sucks.

Riu Santa Fe: Riumazing

L'hôtel, le terrain, la chambre, etc. sont tous impeccables. Je suis particulière mais je n'ai rien trouvé à redire sur la propreté. Nous n'avons jamais eu à demander de serviettes ou de fournitures. Le réfrigérateur était régulièrement rempli, cependant, nous n'avions pas de rhum lorsque nous avons pris notre chambre le dimanche, et après avoir demandé le lundi que le rhum soit réapprovisionné, il a fallu attendre jusqu'au samedi. Hotel, grounds, room etc are all immaculate. I am particular but found no fault with cleanliness. We never had to ask for towels or supplies. The fridge was regularly topped up, however, we had no rum when got our room on Sunday, and after asking Monday for the rum to be replenished it took until Saturday. This is our only complaint and as the resort is all-inclusive it wasn't really that big of a deal. Food was very enjoyable. The drinks were made very well. The selection of food and drinks was quite amazing. The evening entertainment was good .... had us bopping in our chairs and singing along. I can't say enough about the friendliness of the staff. We may have seen 1 sourpuss, everyone else was happy, friendly and helpful. The sportsbar made great cappucino's and expresso's. I would absolutely visit a Riu again.

Riu Reggae: Reggae Fun

Ce complexe réservé aux adultes offre un cadre idéal pour ceux qui souhaitent s'amuser tout en ayant la possibilité de passer des vacances relaxantes. Fantastique personnel de divertissement et de loisirs. Environnement très propre, toutes les parties de l'hôtel étaient propres. Les barmans ont tous des qualités divertissantes, ils sont joyeux et agréables à côtoyer. Les repas et la variété de la nourriture étaient exceptionnels, bien qu'il y ait un temps d'attente au restaurant. Les buffets é [... lire plus]taient très savoureux et offraient toujours beaucoup de choix. La plage est un peu petite, mais des salons sont toujours disponibles. Il est possible d'accéder à une plus grande plage en se rendant au complexe voisin de Montego Bay.

This adults only resort offers a great time for those that chose to have fun while offering the choice of having a relaxing vacation also. Fantastic entertainment and recreation staff. Very clean environment, all areas of the hotel were kept clean. Bartenders all have entertaining qualities, cheerful and fun to be around. Dining and food variety was outstanding, although there is a wait time at the restaurant. Buffet meals were very tasteful and always offered lots of choices. Beach was a little small but lounges are always available. More beach area available if you walk over to the adjoining resort Montego Bay.

Riu Tequila: Cela vaut la peine de le répéter

Nous avons adoré l'ambiance d'hacienda mexicaine de ce complexe et l'avons trouvé très propre et bien organisé. Le personnel était très amical et serviable. Il y avait une grande variété de nourriture, très savoureuse, et nous n'avons eu aucune trace de maladie, ce dont nous nous méfions en raison d'une mauvaise expérience antérieure au Mexique. Si vous voulez vivre un moment maya, faites-vous des souvenirs ici !

Worth Repeating We loved the Mexican hacienda ambiance of this resort and found it to be kept very clean and well organized. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There was a great variety of food, very tasty and we didn't have any trace of illness, which we were wary of from previous bad experience in Mexico. If you want a Mayan moment, make memories here!

Riu Reggae: Un grand moment, une grande fête, des gens formidables et un temps fabuleux !

Restaurants : tous les restaurants de l'hôtel ont servi des plats fantastiques. Il n'est pas nécessaire de réserver pour les restaurants à la carte, mais les clients doivent arriver avant 6h30 pour faire la queue et entrer. Cela n'a pas posé de problème. Les buffets étaient également excellents, jamais de problème pour trouver une table, et jamais de problème pour trouver quelque chose de bon à manger... des fruits de mer aux pâtes, aux pains (un pain génial), de la cuisine internationale à l [... lire plus]a cuisine jamaïcaine. Pour le déjeuner, le resort servait du poulet jerk bbq sur la plage, c'était fantastique, nous en avons mangé presque tous les jours. Le terrain était propre, mais il semble qu'il y ait encore beaucoup de finitions à faire. Les carreaux ont été remplacés tout au long de la semaine, les murs ont été repeints, ce qui est compréhensible pour un nouveau centre de villégiature. Ce que j'ai trouvé un peu bizarre, c'est le carrelage de la piscine du bar, pour un hôtel qui n'a qu'un peu plus de deux mois, la piscine avait déjà besoin d'être réparée, ce qui est probablement un gros travail et nécessitera la vidange de la piscine et sa fermeture pendant quelques jours. Le terrain de l'hôtel n'est pas très grand, la piscine et la plage sont presque l'une sur l'autre, la plage est assez petite. Si le temps le permet, nous avons joué au volley-ball de plage, navigué sur les vagues, utilisé les planches à pagaie et joué au water-polo. Pour tous ceux qui vont dans ce complexe, le personnel fait de fabuleux tie-dye sur la plage, alors prévoyez un t-shirt blanc. C'est vraiment un lieu de fête, il y a beaucoup de bruit mais tout le monde s'est bien amusé. Les animations en soirée étaient tout juste correctes. La musique était trop forte et j'avais du mal à parler à ma femme et à mes amis entre les spectacles. Le meilleur spectacle que nous ayons vu pendant notre semaine était le groupe de tambours d'acier, ils étaient fantastiques. Nous avions une chambre avec vue sur le jardin, la chambre était propre et très moderne, cependant la chambre avec vue sur le jardin, comme indiqué dans d'autres commentaires, est une vue sur le mur de béton et la clôture, donc plus une chambre standard. Cependant, ce n'est pas si mal si vous logez au deuxième étage car vous avez une vue sur la clôture et sur la forêt. La proximité de l'aéroport est excellente, à environ 10 minutes, mais elle a aussi ses inconvénients : l'hôtel se trouve juste au-dessus de la trajectoire des avions qui décollent, et il faut s'attendre à ce qu'une dizaine d'avions passent au-dessus du complexe. Ce n'était pas un problème lorsque nous étions dans notre chambre. L'ensemble du personnel est extrêmement agréable.

Great time, great party, great people and fabulous weather! Restaurants: all restaurants in this hotel served fantastic food. No reservations needed for the A la Carts, guests are required to get there before 6:30 to lineup to get in. Not a problem. The buffets was also excellent, never a problem finding a table, and never a problem finding something good to eat...seafood to pasta, to breads (awesome bread btw), from international cuisine to Jamaican cuisine. The for lunch the resort served bbq jerk chicken on the beach, it was fantastic, we had it almost each and every day. The grounds, were clean yet there seemed be a lot of finishing still to be done. Tiles were being replaced throughout week, walls being repainted, which is understandable for a new resort. What I found a little odd is the tiling in the bar pool, for a hotel that is only a little over two month old, the pool already needed to be repaired, which is likely a big job and will require the pool to be drained and shut down for a few days. The hotel grounds are not very big, the pool and the beach are almost on top of each other, the beach is pretty small. However, the entertainment staff and available watersports more than made up for it...weather permitting we played beach volleyball, sailed hobby waves, used the paddleboards and played water polo. For anyone going to this resort the staff does fabulous tie-dye on the beach so bring a white t-shirt. This is truly a party resort, it is very loud but everyone had a great time. The evening entertainment was only ok. The music was too loud I had a difficult time talking to my wife and friends in between the shows. The best show we saw during our week was the steel drum band, they were fantastic. We had a garden view room, the room was clean and very modern, however the garden view room as is indicated in other reviews, is a view of the concrete wall and fence, so more of a standard room. However, it isn't so bad if your staying on the second floor as you look over the fence and onto the forest. Proximity to the airport is great about 10 minutes, however it has it's cons too, the hotel is right over the flight path of planes taking off, so expect upwards to 10 planes or so to pass over the resort. This was not an issue when in our room. The entire staff is extremely pleasant.

Riu Palace Antillas: Hôtel et vacances fantastiques

J'ai passé un moment merveilleux dans ce magnifique centre de villégiature. Le personnel et l'hébergement étaient vraiment remarquables. Le terrain et les piscines étaient magnifiques et relaxants. La nourriture était de qualité cinq étoiles. La plage était propre et les couchers de soleil à couper le souffle.

Fantastic hotel and holiday Had a wonderful time at this beautiful resort. Staff amd accommodations were truly remarkable . Grounds and pools were amazing and relaxing . Food was five star quality . Beach was clean and breathtaking sunsets .

Riu Santa Fe: La première visite a été un enchantement

Je suis retourné à la réception pour me plaindre et la réception a pu nous changer de chambre le jour suivant. De plus, la réception m'a indiqué qu'elle ne facturait pas de supplément pour les chambres avec vue sur l'océan. Nous avons donc été facturés en supplément. 3 nuits sur 7, certains restaurants étaient fermés

First visit was a Charm * - the arrival and check in procedure was very efficient * - the area at check in was very clean and well decorated * - All employees we encountered were very friendly and professional * - garden and walkways were very clean * - the room was very clean and well organized * - Pool and bar areas very well maintained on the negative side * - the keys to our room were not programmed to open the door * - Then when we got into the room we discovered we did not have an Ocean view room that we PAID extra for! I went back to the front desk to complain and the front desk was able to move us on the next day. ALSO the front desk advised me that they do not charge extra for Ocean View rooms. So way did we get charged EXTRA. 3 of 7 nights there were certain restaurants that were closed

Riu Playa Blanca: Magnifique, chaud et relaxant

Nous aimons beaucoup ce complexe. Il est facile de monter ou de descendre depuis notre chambre. Nous aimerions y retourner. Nous avons apprécié chaque moment passé avec nos amis. Les services étaient excellents. Nous aimons la plage.

We love this resort very much. It is easy to go up or down from our room. We would want to go back again. We enjoyed every moment that we were there with our friends. the services was great. we love the beach.

Riu Emerald Bay: Très propre !

Dans l'ensemble, ce centre de villégiature était bien. La propreté était exceptionnelle ! Les piscines étaient propres et il y avait toujours quelqu'un pour nettoyer les toilettes publiques. Nous avons été un peu déçus par les restaurants car tous étaient des buffets, nous espérions un service à table dans les restaurants avec réservation. Le petit déjeuner était le meilleur moment de la journée. Les divertissements mériteraient d'être rafraîchis. En dehors des activités habituelles à la pisci [... lire plus]ne et du spectacle nocturne, il n'y avait rien d'autre. Si vous voulez des vacances relaxantes, c'est l'hôtel qu'il vous faut !

Very clean!! For the most part this resort was good. The cleanliness was exceptional! The pool areas were kept clean and there was always someone cleaning the public restrooms. We were a little disappointed with the restaurants as all were buffet, we were hoping for table service at the reservation ones. Breakfast was the best part of the day. Entertainment could use some refreshing. Besides the usual pool activities and night show there was nothing else. If you want a relaxing vacation this is your place!!

Riu Palace Antillas: Une île vraiment heureuse

Cet hôtel offre la qualité supérieure que l'on attend d'un Riu Palace. Il s'agit d'un Weston reconverti et notre chambre, bien que jolie, était quelque peu fatiguée. De plus, certaines salles de bains publiques avaient besoin d'être rénovées. La plupart des restaurants et des bars ont été modernisés. La plage était bien entretenue, mais les parasols dans la zone de la piscine étaient peu nombreux

Truly One Happy Island This hotel provided the superior consistency expected of a Riu Palace. It is a converted Weston, and our room, while nice, was somewhat tired. Moreover, some of the public washrooms were also in need of upgrade. There were noticeable modernizations in most of the restaurants and bars. The beach was well maintained; however, the umbrellas in the pool area were few and far between

Riu Flamingos: Un moment formidable

Très bon endroit. Personnel formidable. Très serviable. La nourriture était bonne, les alacarts étaient super, sauf le steakhouse qui n'était pas super. Mais si vous voulez un steak incroyable, allez en Alberta ! Bien plus de valeur que ce que j'ai payé. La station était bien nettoyée et le personnel travaillait dur pour la maintenir dans cet état C'est un endroit plus ancien mais bien entretenu

Awesome time Great place. Great staff. Super helpful. Food was good, alacarts were great, except for the steakhouse it was not great. But if you want incredible steak go to alberta lol! Way more value than what I paid for. The resort was well cleaned and the staff worked hard to keep it that way It is an older place but well maintained

Senator Puerto Plata Hotel: Riu Bachata

terrains : bien entretenus, propres et bien rangés espaces publics : toilettes propres. WI FI seulement disponible dans le hall. la fumée dans le hall et dans la zone de divertissement était écrasante pour les non-fumeurs que nous sommes chambres : propres et bien rangées restauration : à l'exception du hamburger cru et du steak dur du premier jour au buffet, la nourriture était bonne. Malheureusement, les fruits n'avaient pas de goût, contrairement à ce que l'on trouve en croisière ou à la m [... lire plus]aison. divertissement : bon pour la plupart. le programme "Mister" et le programme "Married couples" étaient tous les deux obscènes et de mauvais goût. Heureusement qu'il n'y avait pas d'enfants. Pas de jurons, mais des actions très suggestives.

WI FI only available in lobby. smoking in lobby and entertainment area was overpowering for us non-smokers rooms; clean and tidy dining: except for first day raw hamburger and tough steak at the buffet, food was good. Unfortunately, fruit was tasteless unlike what one would find on a cruise or home for that matter. entertainment. good for the most part. the "Mister" program and "Married couples" program were both raunchy and in poor taste. Glad didn't have children there. No swearing just very suggestive actions.

Riu Palace Tropical Bay: a adoré la station

Bien qu'il s'agisse d'un complexe plus ancien, les chambres étaient propres, la nourriture était excellente et la plage était l'une des meilleures que nous ayons vues. Nous avions une chambre avec vue sur l'océan, avec un magnifique coucher de soleil tous les soirs. Le marché aux puces entre les RIU était une grande attraction et l'autre RIU était un endroit agréable à visiter. Le trajet depuis l'aéroport était long - environ 2 heures avec des arrêts - mais c'était le seul inconvénient. Nous aim [... lire plus]erions revenir.

loved the resort Although this is an older resort ,the rooms were clean, the food was great and the beach was one of the best we have seen. We had an ocean view room with a wonderful sunset every night. The flea market between the RIUs was a great attraction and the other RIU was a nice place to visit. The trip from the airport was long -about 2 hours with stops but that was the only drawback. We would like to make a return trip.

Riu Vallarta: Superbe lieu de vacances

J'ai adoré la plage et le temps, l'hôtel était très bien aussi, les chambres étaient propres et la vue agréable, la nourriture était correcte mais le vin n'était pas vraiment buvable. Le personnel de l'hôtel était très sympathique. Nous avons fini par louer des vélos par l'intermédiaire de l'hôtel et nous avons adoré la visite de Boseria - un magasin de location de vélos canadien très sympathique.

Great vacation place Loved the beach and the weather, hotel was great too, rooms were clean and nice view, food was Ok but wine was not really drinkable. Hotel staff was very friendly. We ended up renting bicycles through hotel and loved the visit into Boseria - great friendly Canadian bicycle rental shop.
