Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: Excellente station

La nourriture était excellente. Je vous suggère de ne pas aller à la soirée fruits de mer au buffet - pas bien après - mais tous les autres jours et la nourriture étaient excellents. Excellente couverture wifi (même des spots sur la plage - gratuitement !) grand divertissement et le personnel. Même si c'est un grand centre de villégiature, il ne se sentait pas bondé. Vous aurez besoin de marcher un peu - mais il y a des chariots disponibles si vous êtes patient. Nous étions dans la section rése [... lire plus]rvée aux adultes (Ambar Green/Blue - recommandez Green car les chambres ont été récemment rénovées - voyez si vous pouvez obtenir des chambres du côté de la piscine - car l'autre côté peut être bruyant (à côté de l'entrée du personnel d'un autre complexe).

Excellent resort Food was awesome. Suggest you do not go to the Seafood night at the Buffett - not well afterwards- but all the other days and food was excellent. Excellent wifi coverage (even spots on the beach - for free!) great entertainment and staff. Even though it is a large resort it didn’t feel crowded. You will need to walk quite a bit - but there are trolleys available if you are patient. We were in the adult only section (Ambar Green/Blue - recommend Green as the rooms were recently renovated- see if you can get rooms on the pool side - as the other side can be noisy (next to the staff entrance of a different resort).

L'hôtel est grand, ce qui implique beaucoup de marche ! Si vous avez des problèmes de mobilité, ce n'est pas l'endroit idéal pour vous. L'enregistrement est une blague. Plus vous posez de questions sur votre chambre (vue sur l'océan, plus belle chambre, étage supérieur), plus on vous ignore. Ils sont toujours en train de "travailler dessus" mais rien ne change. Le service aux piscines/lobby bar est inexistant. La plupart du temps, nous devions nous procurer nos propres boissons et le servi [... lire plus]ce à table au buffet du petit déjeuner et du déjeuner était très médiocre.

Not worth it The hotel is large - involves a lot of walking! If you have mobility issues, it's not the place for you. Registration is a joke. The more you question or ask about your room (i.e. ocean view, nicer room, higher floor), the more you are ignored. They are always "working on it" but nothing changes. Service at the pools/lobby bar is non-existent. Most of the time spent there, we had to get our own beverages and table service at the buffet at breakfast and lunch was very poor.

Mon expérience, géniale ! Il y a tellement de choses à faire. Si vous voulez vous reposer, traîner sur la plage, voir un spectacle et vous coucher, c'est possible, ou si vous préférez voir quelques spectacles et aller danser dans la discothèque, c'est possible. Vous avez le choix entre plusieurs piscines et de nombreux restaurants à la carte. Le Buffet propose également des soirées à thème si vous préférez ne pas réserver. La réservation peut être un peu irritante si le wifi ne fonctionne pas  [... lire plus]assez vite ou si vous voulez manger à une heure précise. Vous pouvez toujours vous rendre dans le hall pendant la journée pour réserver un dîner si vous ne voulez pas utiliser l'application web de l'hôtel. La nourriture est excellente dans les restaurants à la carte. Le personnel est sympathique. Les chambres sont belles et grandes, elles mériteraient d'être rénovées (carrelage ébréché ici et là, si vous voulez être très pointilleux), mais nous ne nous en sommes pas trop souciés. Les divertissements sont excellents. Vous disposez d'une grande sélection d'alcools de qualité supérieure, tous inclus, black label, jack daniels, bombay gin, frangelico, pour n'en citer que quelques-uns. Dans l'ensemble, je recommande vivement ce complexe.

Stay at one place, play at more! My experience, awesome! There is so much to do. If you want to lay low, hang out by the beach, catch a show and turn in, you can or if you prefer to catch a couple of shows and go dance at yhe disco, you can. You have more than a few pools to choose from and you have many a la carte restaurants to choose from. Buffet also has different theme nights if you prefer not to make a reservation. The reservation part can be a little irritating if wifi doesn't kick in fast enough or if you are set on eating at a specific time. You can always make your way to the lobby during the day to make dinner reservations if you dont want to use the hotel webbapp. Food is great at the a la carte restaurants. Staff is friendly. Rooms are nice and big, could use a bit of fixing ie chipped tile here and there (if you want to be super picky) but we didnt care too much about that. the beach and main lobby are all in walking distance. Entertainment is great. You get a great selection of premium alcohol all included, black label, jack daniels, bombay gin, frangelico to name a few. Overall I highly recommend this resort.

Je ne sais pas pourquoi, mais les draps avaient une très mauvaise odeur CHAQUE jour - qu'il s'agisse de l'eau, du détergent ou des draps réutilisés - l'odeur ne disparaissait pas ! Tout le monde semblait tourner autour de la piscine et il y avait UN type qui apparaissait et dirigeait les activités de divertissement tous les jours. C'était comme un one man show et franchement, on s'ennuyait et on était agacé par lui à partir du 2ème jour. Ils doivent recruter plus de personnes dans leur équipe [... lire plus] de divertissement !

Stinky bedsheets and one man show! I do not know why but the bed sheets had a very bad smell EVERY single day - whether it was the water, detergent, or reused sheets - the smell would not go away.! Everyone seemed to hover around the pool area and there is ONE guy who would appear/lead entertainment activities every single day. It was like a one man show and tbh, you would get bored and annoyed by him starting day 2. They need to up recruit more people in their entertainment team!

Ce centre de villégiature était extraordinaire. Le terrain était impeccablement entretenu. La nourriture était excellente, on trouve toujours quelque chose que l'on aime au buffet. Les desserts sont incroyables. Le personnel était très amical et serviable. Notre chambre était magnifique sur la zone dorée près de la plage avec de superbes photos du lever et du coucher du soleil. Fantastic Experience!! This resort was amazing. Grounds were impeccably maintained. The food was great always find something you like at the buffet. Amazing desserts. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was gorgeous on the golden area close to the beach with great photos of sunrise and sunset. Beach was clean and calm beautiful despite what the reviews said. Shout out to Achilies a lobby manager. So many great people!!!

Mon mari, mon père et moi-même y avons fait un voyage la semaine dernière et nous y retournerons. Nous avons réservé la section Punta Cana Royal Garden. Mon père avait sa propre chambre, mon mari et moi-même une autre. Sachant que mon père était seul et qu'il avait 75 ans, ils l'ont appelé pour s'assurer qu'il allait bien et qu'il n'avait pas besoin d'aide. Le personnel est venu deux fois par jour (une fois pour nettoyer la chambre et une autre fois pour le service de nuit, pour ranger un peu, d [... lire plus]onner des chocolats et s'assurer que tout allait bien). Nos réfrigérateurs étaient approvisionnés tous les jours et les chambres étaient nettoyées tous les jours. La seule chose étrange est que dans la plupart des hôtels où je voyage, les chambres sont faites à 11 heures, mais ici, elles l'étaient à 15 heures... et alors ? À l'arrivée, les grooms (ou plutôt les grooms ?) étaient immédiatement là pour nous guider, avec le sourire et dans un anglais impeccable. Pour nous, l'enregistrement s'est fait dans une pièce séparée où l'anglais était excellent et où nous étions peu nombreux. Ils nous ont tout expliqué et sont restés disponibles tout au long de la semaine pour répondre à nos questions ou à nos inquiétudes. En ce qui concerne la nourriture, tout était bon. Nous avons été particulièrement satisfaits du restaurant Pescaro. Le personnel était sympathique et la nourriture délicieuse. Tous les restaurants étaient bons, même les buffets. Je suis habitué à la monotonie des buffets, mais là, c'était du bon. Ce n'était pas de la gastronomie, mais il y avait un large éventail d'options à chaque repas. Oui, il s'agit d'une zone immense avec 5 complexes hôteliers dans une même zone, mais nous n'avons jamais eu de problème pour trouver une place à la plage ou à la piscine. Les boissons étaient bonnes et le personnel de tout le complexe était sympathique : femmes de chambre, cuisiniers, réception, animateurs, barmen, conducteurs de chariots, etc. Non, tout le monde ne parlait pas très bien anglais, mais ils essayaient et ils emploient des Hatiens, je crois, qui parlent couramment français si vous préférez. Le seul inconvénient que nous ayons rencontré était au magasin du hall. Le personnel était arrogant et ne voulait pas ou ne pouvait pas parler anglais. Nous avons eu un problème avec une vendeuse qui s'adressait à ses collègues, mais pas à moi, en anglais ou en français. Nous avons eu la chance que notre associé de Royal Garden nous aide à résoudre ce problème. Dans l'ensemble, j'ai obtenu une note de 8,5/10, ce qui n'est pas peu dire. Je le recommande à la famille, aux amis, aux grands groupes ou aux petits. Il y en a pour tous les goûts

My husband, my father and myself made a trip there last week and would return again. We booked the punta cana royal garden section. My father had his own room and hubby and myself another. Knowing Dad was a solo act and 75 yrs old, they actually called him to make sure he was doing alright and didn't need any help. Staff came twice a day (once to clean the room and another for turn down service to tidy a bit, give chocolates and make sure things were alright). Our fridges were stocked daily and rooms were done daily. The only strange part was that at most resorts when I travel, rooms are done by 11:00 but here they were done by 3:00... so what? On arrival, the bellboys (or would that be bellmen?) were immediately there to offer direction with a smile and great english. For us, checking in was a separate room where the English was excellent and our numbers low. They explained everything and were available throughout our week to answer questions or address any concerns we had. As for the food, all was good. We were especially pleased with the Pescaro restaurant. The staff was friendly and the food was delicious. All the restaurants were good, even the buffets. I am used to monotonous food at buffets but this was good stuff. Not gourmet but a wide range of options each meal. Yes it is a huge area with 5 resorts in one area but never did we have a problem finding a spot at the beach or the pool. Drinks were good and staff all over the resort were friendly from maids, cooks, reception, entertainment, bartenders, trolley drivers etc. No, not everyone spoke great English but they tried and they employ Hatians I believe, who speak fluent French if you would prefer. The only drawback we encountered was at the lobby store. The staff were uppity and wouldn't or couldn't speak English. We had a problem with a salesperson who would speak to coworkers but not myself in English or French,she rolled her eyes and was ignorant. We were lucky enough that our royal garden associate cleared up matters for us. All in all its a 8.5/10 for me and that's saying a lot. I would recommend for family, friends, large groups or small. There is something for everyone

Chambres, nourriture et service excellents. . La piscine et les divertissements nocturnes étaient un peu faibles . Dans l'ensemble, notre voyage a été formidable grâce à l'excellent service de l'ensemble du personnel, en particulier Maria, Francis et Yenny. . Ai-je déjà atteint les 200 ans ?

Great rooms, food and service. . Poolside and nightly entertainment were a little weak. . Overall our trip was great because of the great service by all the staff especially Maria, Francis, & Yenny. . Am I at 200 yet?

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Merveilleux hôtel

L'hôtel était magnifique. Nous avons adoré le service que nous avons reçu. La nourriture était incroyable, les autres hôtels étaient également magnifiques. La plage était très belle et nous l'avons beaucoup appréciée. Notre chambre initiale donnait sur une zone où il y avait des déchets provenant du poste de travail des employés, mais ils nous ont changé de chambre quand je l'ai demandé.

Wonderful hotel The hotel was beautiful. We loved the service we received. The food was amazing, the other hotels were also beautiful. The beach was lovely we enjoyed it very much. Our initial room overlooked some area that had trash in it from the workers work station but they moved us when I asked to another room.

L'hôtel était propre et agréable. Le personnel était formidable, même s'il était difficile de parler aux employés en raison de la barrière de la langue. Le fait d'être si proche de Tulum nous a permis de faire de superbes excursions à 10 minutes de là ! !! Nous y retournerons.

The hotel was clean and nice. The staff was great although it was hard to speak to the workers as the Language barrier was hard. Being so close to Tulum allowed us to do great tours 10 minutes away!! We would go back again.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Ce n'est pas ce à quoi nous nous attendions...

Nous avons séjourné dans d'autres centres de villégiature GB et nous nous attendions au même niveau de service. Nous avons été très déçus. Les serveurs ne servaient que si nous donnions un pourboire à l'avance, les chambres étaient vieilles et avaient besoin d'un bon nettoyage, et le personnel en général n'était pas aimable. La nourriture était épouvantable et toutes les restrictions concernant les endroits où nous pouvions ou ne pouvions pas aller étaient trop confuses pour être suivies.  [... lire plus] L'aéroport de Punta Cana a été une expérience horrible qui a laissé des centaines de personnes enfermées comme du bétail, sans air conditionné, sans eau et sans salle de bain pendant des heures. Premier et dernier voyage à Punta Cana pour nous :(

Not what we were expecting... We have stayed at other GB resorts and were expecting the same level of service. We were very disappointed. The servers would only serve if we tipped in advance, the rooms were old and in need of a good cleaning, and the staff in general were not friendly. The food was terrible and all of the restrictions of where we would and couldn't go were too confusing to follow. The Punta Cana airport was a horrible experience which left hundreds of people corralled like cattle with no AC, water or bathroom for hours. First and last trip to Punta Cana for us :(

Mon mari et moi avons passé un excellent séjour. Très beau, propre et la nourriture était fantastique. Très bons divertissements en soirée. Mon seul reproche pourrait être les longues attentes pour obtenir des boissons, mais à part cela, tout était parfait. Nous reviendrons sans aucun doute.

Luxury Bahia Principe Akumal My husband and I had a great stay. Very beautiful, clean and the food was fantastic. Very good evening entertainment. My only complaint could be the long waits to get drinks but next to that everything was perfect. We would definitely go back.

C'est un centre de villégiature extraordinaire. Nous y étions déjà venus, mais dans une autre zone. Le terrain est bien entretenu, notre chambre était superbe, nous avons eu un très bon service, la nourriture était juste trop abondante et la nourriture était excellente, tout le monde était très poli. Nous ne manquerons pas de recommander ce complexe à tout le monde.

Amazing resort This was an amazing resort. We have been here before but stayed in a different area. The grounds are well kept, our room was great, we had very good service, food was just too much and the food was excellent, everyone was very polite. We would definitely recommend this resort to everyone.

Il y avait des cafards dans ma chambre. Les femmes de ménage n'ont pas bien nettoyé la chambre. Elles ne faisaient pas les lits. Nous n'avons pas été impressionnés par la nourriture. L'hôtel est beau et certains membres du personnel étaient gentils, mais d'autres étaient impolis. J'ai eu de nombreux problèmes avec ce voyage et j'attends toujours une réponse à mon e-mail et au message vocal que j'ai envoyé à l'agent de Tripcentral.

Not worth the money we paid... There were roaches in my room. The housekeepers did not do a good job cleaning the room. They did not make up the beds. We were not impressed with the food. The hotel looks nice and some of the staff were nice but others were rude. I had multiple issues with this trip and I'm still waiting for a response to my email and voicemail I sent to the Tripcentral agent.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: J'adore cet endroit !

C'était notre troisième séjour à Akumal, après avoir séjourné une fois au GBP Tulum, soit 4 séjours au total. Nous aimons beaucoup le fait de connaître notre chemin, de savoir où se trouvent les meilleurs restaurants et d'avoir notre coin préféré au bord de la piscine. Tout est toujours bien entretenu et propre, et le personnel est toujours très sympathique. Comme il s'agit du niveau "Luxe", vous avez droit à un nombre illimité de réservations à la carte, ce dont nous profitons toujours - 7 r [... lire plus]epas merveilleux ! Cette année, nous avons été transportés depuis l'aéroport dans une camionnette de 10 personnes, ce qui nous a permis d'emprunter un itinéraire direct et de raccourcir considérablement le trajet. Certaines chambres commencent à s'user, ce qui n'est pas grave vu le peu de temps que l'on y passe, mais il faudrait entreprendre des travaux de restauration, sinon l'impression de "luxe" va commencer à s'estomper. Nous serions ravis d'y retourner !

Love this place! This was our third time to Akumal, having stayed once at GBP Tulum, so 4 trips total. We really like that we know our way around, know where the best restaurants are and have our favorite spot by the pool. Everything is always well tended and clean, and all the staff are always so friendly. Because it is the "Luxury" level, you get unlimited a la carte reservations, which we always take advantage of - 7 wonderful meals! This year we were transported from the airport in a 10 passenger van which gave us a direct route and shortened the ride considerably. Some of the rooms are starting to show some wear, which isn't a big deal, considering how little time you spend there, but they should start some restoration work, or the "luxury" feel will start to slip. We'd love to go back!

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Beautiful Resort

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour d'une semaine au Grand Bahia Principe à Runaway Bay, en Jamaïque, la semaine dernière. Le complexe lui-même est magnifique et bien entretenu, et le personnel a été formidable. Nous sommes allés dans 4 restaurants à la carte, l'italien, le japonais, le steakhouse et le gourmet, le japonais étant de loin notre préféré. La plage était un peu décevante car elle se composait de plusieurs petites criques et d'une plus grande. Il s'agit d'un complexe hôteli [... lire plus]er assez vaste, avec beaucoup d'activités. Des animations quotidiennes et nocturnes sont organisées dans tout le complexe. Il y a également un petit village commerçant et un casino pour plus de plaisir. Nous n'hésiterions pas à recommander ce complexe à notre famille et à nos amis en raison de tout ce qu'il offre et de l'excellent service. Really enjoyed our 1 week stay at the Grand Bahia Principe in Runaway Bay, Jamaica last week. The resort itself is beautiful and well maintained, and the staff was amazing. We went to 4 a la carte restaurants, the Italian, Japanese, Steakhouse, and Gourmet, with the Japanese being our favorite by far. The beach was a bit disappointing as it consisted of several little cove areas, and one larger one. It's a rather large resort with lots going on. There were daily/evening entertainment throughout the resort. There is also a little shopping village and casino for added fun. We would not hesitate to recommend the resort to family and friends based on everything they offer, and the excellent service. Thanks tripcentral.ca for booking us and maintaining contact with us from start to finish. Bravo to both you and the Bahia.

Nous avons séjourné pour la deuxième fois dans cet hôtel et nous l'avons à nouveau adoré. C'est un petit hôtel avec de belles vues de partout. Propre et tout le monde est sympathique. La communication est parfois un petit problème, mais il est facile d'y remédier avec de la patience

Cet hôtel est très grand, ce que je préfère. J'aime visiter les différents halls et même m'asseoir dans les différentes piscines, on ne s'ennuie jamais en voyant les mêmes choses tous les jours. Les chambres sont, comme mentionné dans d'autres commentaires, datées, mais elles sont maintenues très propres. Le personnel de ménage fait un excellent travail. Le terrain est immaculé et les allées impeccables. Nous avons principalement mangé aux buffets, le seul alacarte que nous avons essayé était l [... lire plus]e brésilien et il était très bon. Il y avait toujours quelque chose à choisir aux buffets. La plage est belle et on peut y marcher sur une bonne distance. Les piscines sont agréables et la température y est parfaite, pas trop froide comme l'indiquent certains commentaires. Il y a des chariots qui vous emmènent partout dans le complexe, et l'attente pour les chariots est généralement inférieure à 5 minutes. Les employés de ce complexe sont très sympathiques. Dans l'ensemble, j'ai passé de très bonnes vacances dans ce complexe et j'y reviendrai.

Relaxing holiday This hotel is very large, which I prefer. I love to visit all of the different lobbies and even sit at different pools, you never get bored with seeing the same things every day. The rooms are as mentioned in other reviews dated, but they are kept very clean. The housekeeping staff does a great job. The grounds are immaculate and walkways impeccable. We ate mainly at the buffets, the only alacarte that we tried was the Brazilian and it was very good. There was always something to choose from at the buffets. The beach is nice and you can walk quite a distance down the beach. The pools were lovely, and the temperature in all the pools was perfect - not too cold as some reviews stated. There are trollies that will take you all around the resort, and the wait for the trollies is usually under 5 minutes. The employees at this resort are very friendly. All in all I had a very nice vacation at this resort and I would return.
