Riu Palace Costa Mujeres: Un charmant complexe hôtelier

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le complexe hôtelier. Il était propre et spacieux. Nous avons pu trouver des chaises longues autour de la piscine. Il y avait aussi beaucoup d'espaces ombragés !! (ce qui est rare dans d'autres complexes). L'équipe sportive, notamment l'animateur sportif « Nacho Loco », était sympa et géniale ! Le seul bémol, c'est qu'on nous avait dit qu'il n'était pas nécessaire de réserver aux restaurants, mais qu'il fallait tout de même faire la queue pour obtenir un bipeur afin  [... lire plus]de s'assurer une place dans les restaurants les plus prisés. Cela n'était indiqué nulle part. Nous l'avons simplement appris par d'autres clients. Je suppose que c'est mieux que le processus de réservation. Merci pour ce super séjour !!

Lovely resort We enjoyed the resort. It was clean, spacious. We were able to find lounge chairs around the pool. Also, lots of shaded areas!! ( which is rare at other resorts). Sports team, including sports instructor " Nacho Loco" was fun and fabulous! The one chink would be We were told no reservations needed at the restaurants however, one did need to line up to get a beeper/ buzzer to secure a spot at the more popular restaurants. Not written anywhere. We just found out through other patrons. I guess better than the reservation process. Thanks for a great time!!

Dreams Jade Resort and Spa: Des vacances géniales !

C'était notre deuxième séjour dans ce complexe hôtelier et nous en avons profité à chaque instant. Le trajet en navette entre l'aéroport et le complexe a été très rapide. L'enregistrement s'est déroulé sans encombre, mais nous n'avons pas apprécié que les vendeurs de multipropriété nous assaillent dès que nous avons eu terminé. Le domaine de l'hôtel est magnifique et tout est à proximité, donc pas de longues marches pour rejoindre la chambre, la piscine ou les restaurants. La plage était jonchée [... lire plus] d'algues, mais cela fait partie de la nature ; le personnel s'est employé à les nettoyer presque toute la journée à l'aide de râteaux et d'un tracteur. La nourriture était excellente : pas besoin de réserver, il suffit de se rendre chaque soir au restaurant de son choix. Le buffet offrait un large choix pour tous les repas. Les options sans gluten étaient indiquées sur les menus des restaurants et le personnel proposait d'autres suggestions ou adaptations sur demande. J'aurais aimé qu'il y ait plus de transats autour de la piscine et sur la plage ; si vous n'étiez pas lève-tôt, vous aviez du mal à trouver un groupe de chaises ensemble.

Great Vacation! Our second time visting this resort and we enjoyed every minute. Was a quick shuttle bus ride from the airport to the resort. Check in was smooth but didn't love the time share people swarming us as soon as check in was complete. Resort grounds are beautiful and everything is close by so no long walks to the room, pool or to food. Beach had lots of seaweed but that's just part of mother nature; the staff we working at cleaning it up most of the day with raking and a tractor. Food was great - do not need to make reservations, just walk up each night to the restaurant you want to try. Buffet had lots of choices for all meals. Gluten free options were label on the restaurant menus and staff made other suggestions/accomadations as requested. Wish they had more loungers around the pool and beach; if you weren't an early riser, you were stuggling to get a group of chairs together

El Dorado Royale: Un complexe hôtelier merveilleux

Je donnerais 5 étoiles à ce complexe hôtelier. Tout le personnel était professionnel, aimable et très serviable. Les espaces verts étaient magnifiquement entretenus, les allées étaient propres, et j’avais l’impression d’être dans un autre monde. Les piscines étaient superbes, mais la plage l’était moins, même si je m’y attendais. Nous avions une chambre avec accès direct à la piscine : le top du top ! On nous proposait de délicieuses margaritas partout où nous allions : sur notre balcon, au bo [... lire plus]rd de la piscine... La nourriture était excellente, et il y avait un choix immense de restaurants et de snacks. Tous les transferts étaient très bien gérés : très organisés et ponctuels. C'est tout simplement un endroit génial et j'ai hâte d'y retourner.

Wonderful Resort I would give this resort 5 stars. All the staff were professional, kind, and very helpful. The grounds were beautifully maintained, the walkways were kept clean, and I felt like I was in another world. The pools were great, but the beach not so much, but was expecting that. We had a swim-up room - best thing ever! Delicious Margaritas were offered where ever we went - our balcony, pool-side... The food was great, and there were so many choices of restaurants and snacks. All transportation was handled well - very organized and on time. Just a great spot and I can't wait to go back.

Sun Palace Hotel: De superbes vacances

Mon mari et moi voulions partir au Mexique pour ses 50 ans. Je n'avais jamais fait appel à une agence de voyage auparavant, mais je l'ai fait cette fois-ci, et Alisa s'est montrée très serviable et m'a donné plein d'informations utiles. Je lui ai donné une liste de nos envies et elle nous a recommandé le Sun Palace. C'était exactement ce que nous recherchions. Le personnel était exceptionnel, en particulier Juan et Daniella. Wonderful vacation My husband and I wanted to go to Mexico for his 50th birthday. I had never used a travel agent before but I did this time and Alisa was so helpful and informative. I gave her a list of wants and she recommended the sun palace. It was exactly what we wanted. The staff were exceptional, especially Juan and Daniella. The food would bring me back again in a heart beat. The whole experience was fantastic.

Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: Une réponse incroyable

Ce complexe est l'un de nos préférés parmi les 50 que nous avons visités dans le monde. Nous avons été surclassés au Preferred Club, ce qui a été pour nous une expérience formidable. Le service autour de la piscine était exceptionnel et le club de plage aussi. Si vous êtes à la recherche d'une station relaxante, passez au Select Club. Si vous aimez faire la fête, vous pouvez vous rendre à la piscine principale. La nourriture était vraiment bonne, avec un bon choix pour tous les types de mang [... lire plus]eurs. Les chambres étaient propres et nous n'avons jamais eu besoin de demander quoi que ce soit pendant notre séjour. Le seul problème que nous ayons eu a été d'essayer de trouver une heure matinale pour le restaurant car il fallait réserver à minuit pour pouvoir trouver quelque chose et encore moins une heure matinale.

Unbelievable Resprtt This resort is one of our favorites so far out of the 50 we have visited around the world. We upgraded to Preferred Club which for us was a great experience. Service around the pool was outstanding at the beach club it was amazing too. If you are looking for a relaxing resort upgrade to the Select Club if you enjoy a bit of a party you can head down to the main pool. The food was really good a nice selection for any type of eater. Rooms were clean and never needed to ask for anything during our stay. Only issues we had was trying to find a early time for the restaurant as you would need to book at midnight or you could find anything let alone a early time.

Royalton CHIC Cancun: Parfait !

Cet hôtel était formidable. Nous avions une superbe chambre avec vue sur les animations, et il y avait quelque chose à voir tous les soirs. La nourriture était bonne, quel que soit le restaurant de l'hôtel où l'on choisissait de manger. Le personnel était serviable et aimable. Le temps était magnifique !

Perfect! This hotel was wonderful. We had a great room looking on to the entertainment provides, which there was something every night. The food was good no matter where you chose to eat in the hotel. Staff was helpful and kind. Weather was fantastic!

Catalonia Royal Tulum: Le complexe était agréable, mais sans plus

Réservation effectuée auprès de Sunwing, vol opéré par WestJet. Complexe hôtelier non-fumeurs. J'ai reçu des e-mails de Sunwing, les documents de voyage et le code QR pour le transfert de la part de Sunwing, mais l'enregistrement s'est fait via l'application WestJet. C'était simple. Sunwing envoie également des liens pour payer les frais d'entrée, mais seulement quelques jours avant. J'aime que tout soit prêt, j'aurais donc préféré que ces liens soient envoyés plus tôt. L'aéroport de Cancún e [... lire plus]st un vrai chaos. Il nous a fallu plus d'une heure pour récupérer nos bagages ; ils ont changé de tapis roulant sans mettre à jour les panneaux d'affichage, mais nous l'avons su grâce aux murmures qui circulaient. Le transfert vers l'hôtel était un véritable désastre. Nous avons fait la queue dans une immense file d'attente pour finalement nous faire dire d'attendre dans une autre file plus petite. Finalement, l'un des agents nous a fait monter dans un bus. C'était très mal organisé. Temps total passé à l'aéroport : 3 heures. Il nous restait encore une heure et demie de route jusqu’à l’hôtel. L’enregistrement à l’hôtel s’est bien passé. Jus de fruits frais, serviette fraîche. Le départ de l’hôtel était louche. Nous avons dû payer la taxe environnementale dont on nous avait informés à notre arrivée, mais ils ne nous ont pas rendu la monnaie – alors que j’avais payé en pesos et que j’avais changé des billets quelques jours auparavant. Le personnel est super sympa, surtout au buffet de la plage. Beaucoup d'animaux sauvages courent partout, sur les chemins, dans les arbres. La chambre était au 3e étage, donc beaucoup de marches et pas d'ascenseur. La chambre était propre, avec beaucoup de serviettes, y compris des serviettes de plage. Le frigo était rempli de boissons et de snacks. Il y avait plein de bouteilles d'eau. Comme nous étions dans le bâtiment 1, la chambre était bruyante à cause du bruit de la circulation et on pouvait entendre les animaux sauvages depuis la porte. Elle avait aussi l'air un peu vieillotte, mais pas sale ni étouffante. La piscine était agréable. Un peu trop chaude certains jours, mais propre. Des activités sont organisées à la piscine. La plage avait du sable fin et était propre. Beaucoup de chaises longues disponibles. La mer était agitée car il y avait du vent cette semaine-là, mais quand il n'y avait pas de vent, l'eau était plus claire et ondulait. Il y avait un service de boissons sur la plage, ils passaient souvent. Il y avait un peu de sargasse, mais le personnel de l'hôtel s'assurait constamment de la nettoyer de la plage. Nourriture/restaurants. La nourriture au restaurant de la plage est bonne, tant pour le petit-déjeuner que pour le dîner. Il ferme à 15 h et il faut réserver pour l’un des restaurants de spécialités pour le dîner. Il y en a 6, mais si vous n’aimez pas la nourriture, il n’y a que le service en chambre 24 h/24. Les animations étaient bonnes. Une fiche d'information est disponible dans le hall de votre bâtiment. La liste ne précise pas si l'événement a lieu dans le hall ou au bord de la piscine. Les bars se trouvent dans le hall et au bord de la piscine. Les horaires du bar de la piscine varient. Il ferme parfois à 21 h, d'autres fois à 2 h du matin, mais il n'y a aucune indication sur les horaires. Il y a 6 bâtiments au total. Les membres du club exclusif ont accès au bâtiment 6, qui se trouve près de la plage. Des membres du personnel vous invitent souvent à rejoindre le club exclusif et participent à une discussion d'une heure sur le temps partagé.

Resort was pleasant but not amazing Booked with Sunwing, operated by WestJet. Non-smoking resort. Received emails from Sunwing, travel docs and QR code for transfer from Sunwing but check-in was done via the WestJet app. Easy. Sunwing also sends links to pay the entry fee but only a few days before. I like to have everything ready so I would have liked it to be sent sooner. The Cancun airport is a mess. Took over an hour to get our luggage, they changed carousels on us without updating the boards, we knew from the murmurs occurring. The hotel transfer was a disorganized mess. Waited in one huge line just to be told to wait in another smaller line. Finally one of the reps got us on a bus. Was very I organized. Total airport time - 3hours. We still had a 1.5hour ride to the hotel. Hotel check-in was nice. Fresh juice, cold towel. Hotel check-out was shady. Had to pay the environmental fee which they advised when we arrived but they did not provide change - even though I paid in pesos and had changed bills a few days before. Staff are super friendly especially at the beach buffet. Lots of wild life running around, across the paths, in the tress. Room was on the 3rd floor so lots of steps and no elevator. Room was clean, lots of towels, including beach towels. Fridge packed with drinks and snacks. Bottles of water a plenty. Being in building 1, room was loud to traffic noise and can hear wild life from the door. Also looks a bit dated but not grungy or stuffy. Pool was nice. Too warm on some days but clean. Activities ar the pool. Beach was soft sand and clean. Lots of chairs available. Water was rough because it was windy that week but when it was not windy water was clearer and wavy. There was beach beverage service, they came by often. There was some sargassum but the hotel staff was constantly ensuring it was cleaned off the beach. Food/restaurants. The food at the beach restaurant is good for both breakfast and dinner. It closes at 3pm and you have to make a reservation for one of the specialty restaurants for dinner. There are 6 of them but if you don’t like the food there is only the 24hr room service. Entertainment was good. There is an information sheet in the lobby of your building. The list does not say if the event is taking place in the lobby or by the pool. Bars are at the lobby and pool. The bar at the pool changes hours. Sometimes it closes at 9pm other times 2am but no listing as to when that is. There are 6 buildings to total. The exclusive club members get building 6 which is by the beach. There are staff that ask often to join the Exclusive club and take part in an hour timeshare like discussion.

Barcelo Maya Beach Resort: Une expérience formidable – à renouveler !

C'est l'un des meilleurs séjours que j'ai passés. Un site magnifique, des repas excellents et un personnel très accueillant ! Je reviendrai sans hésiter dans ce complexe et j'y amènerai mes amis et ma famille. Il y en a pour tous les goûts ! À seulement une heure de l'aéroport...

A wonderful experience - to repeat! This is one of the best holidays that I have had. Beautiful site, excellent meals and friendly onsite assistance! I would definitely come to this resort again and bring friends and family. Something for everybody! Only an hour from the airport...

Dreams Natura Resort and Spa: C'est un complexe hôtelier magnifique.

Le domaine était magnifique. Le personnel était très aimable et professionnel. Ils semblaient sincèrement sympathiques et aimer leur travail. Les restaurants étaient excellents. Le buffet était un peu plus modeste que ce à quoi je m'attendais après avoir séjourné dans d'autres complexes hôteliers. Cependant, la nourriture proposée au buffet était très bonne. Les chambres étaient très propres et agréables.

It's a wonderful resort. The grounds were beautiful. The staff was very friendly and professional. They genuinely seemed to be friendly and like their jobs. The restaurants were excellent. The buffet was a bit smaller then I thought it would be after being at other resorts. However the food at the buffet was very good. The rooms were very clean and nice.

Ocean Maya Royale: Superbe complexe hôtelier

Mon mari et moi avons récemment séjourné à l'Ocean Maya Royale (mars 2026). C'est un charmant complexe hôtelier, propre, avec un personnel exceptionnel ; nous avons toujours pu trouver des chaises longues, que ce soit au bord des piscines ou en bord de mer, et la nourriture était vraiment bonne. Ils ont pris grand soin de tenir compte de mon allergie aux noix et au gluten, et j'avais tout de même un large choix de plats. Les boissons étaient bien préparées et l'équipe d'animation était excellent [... lire plus]e. Nous nous sommes beaucoup amusés sans nous sentir à l'étroit ni submergés. Excellent rapport qualité-prix.

Great Resort My husband and I recently stayed at Ocean Maya Royale (March 2026). It's a lovely resort, clean, staff are exceptional, we could always get chairs whether by the pools or ocean and the food was really good. They were very cognizant of my nut and gluten allergy and I still had a lot of choices when it came to food. Drinks were made well and the entertainment staff were excellent. We had a lot of fun without feeling crowded or overwhelmed. Excellent value for the price.

Krystal Grand Los Cabos: À améliorer

Les lieux étaient agréables et, heureusement, nous avions opté pour le surclassement à l'Altitude Club (qui ne valait pas le prix demandé), mais au moins nous pouvions commander à la carte pour nos repas, et ceux-ci étaient bons (le petit-déjeuner, le déjeuner et certains dîners étaient corrects) Mon amie est arrivée avant moi et on ne l'a pas autorisée à s'enregistrer parce que je n'étais pas là, alors qu'elle avait les informations de réservation et que son nom figurait bien sur la réservati [... lire plus]on, etc. On m'a déposée plus tard à cause de la manifestation à l'aéroport, où j'ai attendu 4 heures dehors, sous le soleil et dans la poussière, pour qu'on vienne me chercher, sans AUCUNE communication de la part de mon représentant d'Air Canada. AUCUNE. Je lui ai parlé quand je suis arrivée et il m'a dit qu'il faudrait attendre environ une demi-heure, puis je ne l'ai plus revu. J'ai finalement pu rejoindre la chambre, qui était agréable en soi, mais nous n'avions que deux serviettes et un tapis de douche, pas de serviette pour les mains (nous l'avons finalement obtenue quatre jours plus tard) ni de gants de toilette. Les serviettes de bain étaient en lambeaux et grises, le minibar n'était pas approvisionné, il n'y avait ni chaussons ni peignoirs, ni collations. Le cache-sommier était taché d'une grosse tache sombre et les rideaux en vinyle étaient absolument crasseux. Mais je dois dire que le lit était confortable ! Nous avions une chambre avec accès direct à la piscine et vue sur le jardin ; la piscine était limpide et à la température idéale, mais elle avait besoin d’être aspirée et les transats immergés étaient couverts de moisissure. Oui, je sais que c’est un combat permanent, mais il suffirait de les sortir une fois par semaine ou toutes les deux semaines et de les frotter rapidement. Mais dans l’ensemble, la piscine était incroyable. Nous avons également été complètement perdus quant à savoir qui était notre majordome, quel était son rôle, et encore moins où il se trouvait. Rien de tout cela ne nous a été communiqué à notre arrivée. Nous avons demandé au concierge de la réception de nous réserver une table pour le dîner et il nous a dit de nous adresser à notre majordome ; nous avons donc envoyé un SMS à notre majordome et il nous a répondu qu’il ne s’occupait pas des réservations pour le dîner. C’était donc frustrant. Je ne peux pas vraiment me prononcer sur le buffet, car nous n'y sommes allés que le soir de mon arrivée et c'était « correct », mais nous y sommes allés une fois pour le déjeuner pour manger des hamburgers et ils étaient excellents. La cuisine japonaise était FABULEUSE ! Le restaurant mexicain était médiocre (malheureusement). Le surclassement ne valait PAS 750 $ CAN PAR PERSONNE pour la semaine. Mais dans l'ensemble, nous avons passé un séjour agréable et relaxant, les jardins sont bien aménagés et la piscine réservée aux adultes est une option sympa.

Needs Improvement The grounds were nice and thank goodness we upgraded to the Altitude Club (not worth what they charged) but at least we could order a la carte for our meals and those meals were good (breakfast and lunch and some dinners were ok) My friend arrived ahead of me and she was not allowed to check in because I was not there, even though she had the booking information and her name was on the reservation etc. I was dropped off later due to the demonstration at the airport where I waited for 4 hours outside in the sun and blowing dirt to get a ride with ZERO communication from my Air Canada rep ZERO I spoke to him when I first got there and he said it would be about half an hour wait and then I never saw him again. I finally got to the room and the room itself was nice but we had 2 towels and a shower matt no hand towel ( we finally got that 4 days later) and no face-cloths. The bath towels were tattered and grey, the mini bar was not stocked, no slippers or robes, no snacks. The bed skirt had a big dark smear on it and the vinyl curtains were absolutely filthy. But I will say the bed was comfy! We had a swim out garden view room and the pool was clear and perfect temperature but needed a vacuum and the in-water loungers were full of mold. Yes I know that is a constant battle but all it would take is to pull them out once a week or 2 and give them a quick scrub. But overall the pool was amazing. We also had mass confusion as to who our butler was and what his job was let alone where he was located. None of this was communicated upon our arrival(s). We asked the front concierge about making a dinner reservation and he said we had to go to our butler, so we texted our butler and he said he didn't make reservations for dinner. So that was frustrating. I can't really comment on the buffet as we only went the evening I arrived and it was "ok" but we did go once for lunch for hamburgers and they were great. The Japanese food was FABULOUS! The Mexican restaurant was sub-par (sadly). The upgrade was NOT worth $750 CDN EACH for the week. But all in all we had a nice relaxing time, the grounds are well laid out and the adults only pool is a nice option.

Barcelo Maya Riviera: Une visite étonnante à l'occasion de l'inauguration

Pour notre première visite tout compris au Mexique, notre agent "Karol" a tout compris. Le centre de villégiature était magnifique et le temps était excellent. La chambre était spacieuse et très propre. La vue sur le jardin était tranquille et privée. Le réfrigérateur du bar n'était pas assez froid et il a été réparé dès que la réception a été contactée. Nos expériences dans les 4 restaurants à la carte ont été de première classe. Les buffets étaient très variés tout au long de la journée et le  [... lire plus]service était remarquable. Les moments passés à la piscine ont été très relaxants et le service au bord de la piscine et au bar était de premier ordre. L'ensemble du personnel de l'hôtel était très amical et professionnel. Nous recommandons vivement ce complexe réservé aux adultes.

Amazing Inauguration Visit As our first ever all inclusive visit to Mexico our agent "Karol" nailed it. The resort was amazing and the weather was great. The room was spacious and very clean. The garden view was tranquil and private. The bar fridge was not cool enough and it was fixed as soon as the front desk was contacted. Our experiences at the 4 a'la carte restaurants were first class all around. The buffet varieties were plentiful throughout the day and the service was outstanding. Our time at the pools were very relaxing and the pool side and bar service was top notch. All of the staff at the resort were very friendly and professional. We would highly recommend this adults only resort.

Riu Dunamar: Grand centre de villégiature

Belle station. Très propre. Le personnel est toujours très gentil. Les restaurants et le buffet étaient excellents ! Les piscines étaient un peu occupées pendant la deuxième moitié de notre séjour, mais c'était une nouvelle vague de spring breakers américains qui arrivaient. les boissons étaient fraîches. les serveurs du bar étaient superbes. Les chambres étaient fantastiques. Le balcon était génial. Nous avons trouvé les couloirs plutôt bruyants pendant la nuit une fois que les spring [... lire plus] breakers sont arrivés, beaucoup de cris et de coups sur les portes.... nous reviendrons dans ce complexe sans hésiter.

Great resort Beautiful resort. Very clean. Staff was always super nice. The restaurants and buffet were great! Lots of room at the beach any time of day.. pools were a little busy during the second half of our stay, but that was a new wave of US spring breakers arriving. drinks were cold. bar tenders were superb. Rooms were fantastic. Balcony was great. We did find the hallways rather loud during the night once the spring breakers arrived, lots of yelling and banging on doors.. we would stay at this resort again without hesitation.

Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun: Superbe centre de villégiature !

Ma femme et moi venons de rentrer d'un séjour d'une semaine au Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun et nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour ! L'hôtel, la chambre, les piscines, les restaurants et le service du personnel étaient tous extrêmement bons. Nous avons réservé avec l'avantage Diamond Club, et bien que nous ayons apprécié le service très personnalisé de notre majordome attitré et la séance d'hydrothérapie d'une heure, nous ne sommes pas sûrs d'en avoir vraiment eu besoin. Le seul point  [... lire plus]négatif est la plage, qui n'est vraiment pas agréable en raison des énormes quantités de sargasses (algues) qui affluent constamment, obligeant la plupart des gens à utiliser les piscines à la place. À cause de cela, la plupart des chaises autour de la piscine étaient occupées dès 7 heures du matin, ce qui nous obligeait à sortir très tôt (6 heures) pour déposer nos couvertures de plage sur les chaises afin d'être sûrs d'avoir une bonne place. Sinon, il était presque impossible de trouver des chaises sur l'ensemble de la station par la suite, En dehors de cela, je peux dire que tout dans le complexe était vraiment haut de gamme, avec des services haut de gamme.

Great resort ! My wife and I just got back from a one week stay at the Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun resort and we really enjoyed our stay ! The hotel, the room , the pools , restaurants and staff service were all extremely good. We booked it with the Diamond Club perk, and although we appreciated very personalized service from our assigned butler and the 1-hour hydrotherapy session, not so sure it was really needed. The only negative point I would say was the beach which was really not enjoyable because of the enormous amounts of sargassum (sea weeds) that would flow in constantly, forcing most of the people to use the pools instead. Because of that, most chairs around the pool would get taken by 7am each morning, forcing us to get out real early (6am) to drop our beach blankets on the chairs to ensure we got a goot spot. Otherwise it was almost impossible to find any chairs on the entire resort afterwards, Other than that, I can say that everything about the resort was really high end, with high end services.

Le personnel est super et la plongée avec tuba est géniale. Ne prêtez pas attention aux commentaires négatifs : si vous êtes dans le bon état d'esprit, vous passerez de superbes vacances. Apprenez à vous servir au buffet si vous ne trouvez pas ce que vous voulez : ce sont les meilleures omelettes que j'ai mangées depuis plus de 20 ans que je pars dans le sud.

Getting what you paid for Great staff and snorkeling , don’t listen to the negatives if your frame of mind is right you will have a great vacation , learn to use the menu in the buffet if you don’t see what you want - the best omelettes in over 20 years of going south

El Dorado Royale: Supreme Resort

Cet hôtel est tout simplement magnifique à tous points de vue ; les jardins sont superbement entretenus et magnifiques. Il y a des palmiers et des fleurs partout. Les chambres sont impeccables, tout comme les nombreuses piscines. Le service était fantastique aux bars et à la piscine ; nous avions une chambre avec accès direct à la piscine, qui était impeccable et où l'on pouvait également se faire servir à boire. Le service en chambre était disponible 24 h/24 et 7 j/7 ; nous y avons eu recours à [... lire plus] plusieurs reprises pour des collations tardives et pour le petit-déjeuner. Malheureusement, ce complexe ne dispose pas d'une plage praticable : il y avait tellement d'algues qu'elle était inaccessible. J'ai eu de la peine pour les employés qui tentaient de nettoyer les algues, car c'était une bataille sans fin. Nous avons fait une excursion d'une journée vers la magnifique plage de Maroma, à environ 30 minutes de route, où nous avons pris un catamaran et essayé la plongée avec tuba pour la première fois. Il fallait nager très loin pour rejoindre le récif et l'eau était agitée, je n'ai donc pas pu nager aussi loin dans ces vagues, mais je me suis entraînée à la plongée avec tuba autour du catamaran. Notre chambre donnait également sur l'océan, ce qui nous permettait de nager dans notre propre piscine tout en entendant et en voyant la mer. Des navettes en voiturette de golf sont disponibles et nous n'avons jamais dû attendre très longtemps pour en prendre une. Il y a de nombreux restaurants à la carte, et le buffet de l'El Dorado Royale était plus modeste, mais proposait de nombreuses options délicieuses, qui étaient toutes excellentes.

This resort is stunning in every way, the grounds are so well kept and beautiful. Lots of Palm tree and flowering growth everywhere. The rooms are kept very clean along with the multipule pools. The service was fantastic at the bars, pool service and we had a swim up room that was imaculate and had drink service there also. The room service was available 24/7 and we used a few times for late snacks and also breakfast. This resort unfortanutly does not have a usable beach, so much seaweed, it was unapprochable. Felt sorry for the workers trying to clean up seaweed as it was a never ending battle. We took a day tour to a beautiful beach Maroma, about 30 minutes away and went on a catamaran and tried snorkling for the first time. The swim out to the reef was very far and water was wavy, so I was not able to swim that far away in the wavy water, but practiced snorkling around the catamaran. Our room was also Ocean front so we could swim in our own pool and hear and see the sea while doing so. There are rides available from golf carts and never ever waited very long for a ride. There are many ala cart resteraunts, and the buffet on El Dorado Royale was smaller scale, but lots of delishious options, which were all so good.
