Barcelo Maya Colonial: On n'aurait pas pu choisir un meilleur endroit !

Tout était au-dessus des attentes. Le service est spectaculaire. Aucun insecte à craindre. Juste du plaisir au soleil. La nourriture était excellente et abondante. Je reviendrai certainement un jour dans ce centre de villégiature.

Couldn't have picked a better spot! Everything was above expectations. The service is spectacular. No bugs to worry about at all. Just fun in the sun. The food was great and plenty of it. Will definitely be returning to this resort someday.

Excellente expérience gastronomique, bons spectacles, excellente plage, belles chambres et excellent service. Environnement amical, nous y retournerons à tout moment. En fait, l'hôtel a été recommandé par des membres de la famille qui y ont déjà séjourné et qui en sont très satisfaits.

Barcelo Maya Caribe: Un centre de villégiature exceptionnel

Le terrain est propre, la nourriture est excellente. La plage est magnifique, il y a des parties très fréquentées et d'autres plus calmes. Il y en a pour tous les goûts. J'aime les spectacles nocturnes et les discothèques, j'ai une quarantaine d'années et j'aime danser. Il y a aussi une église pour les âmes. J'adore ce complexe et j'ai hâte d'y revenir

Amazing resort Grounds are clean, awesome food. Beach is beautiful , there is busy section of the beach and quite one also. Something for everybody. I like night shows and disco, I'm in my late 40 and love to dance. There is also a church for your soul. I love this resort and looking forward to come back

Barcelo Maya Colonial: Fantastic Resort

Ce complexe fait partie d'un ensemble de 5 hôtels et dispose d'un "train" que l'on peut emprunter pour passer de l'un à l'autre. Cependant, j'ai le sentiment que le Colonial est LE MEILLEUR. Les chambres sont très propres, la piscine est formidable (avec un parc pour enfants), tout comme la plage, et la nourriture et les restaurants spéciaux sont merveilleux. Il serait TRÈS difficile de trouver un meilleur endroit.

This resort is part of a 5 hotel complex and has a "train" you can take from one to the other. However, I feel that the Colonial is THE BEST. Rooms are very clean, pool is terrific(has a kids park) as is the beach and food and special restaurants are wonderful. It would be VERY hard to find a better place.

Barcelo Maya Beach Resort: Station balnéaire fabuleuse où nous reviendrons sans aucun doute

Nous avons séjourné au Barcelo Maya Beach Resort en mai de cette année ; c'était notre deuxième séjour. La nourriture, le personnel, les chambres et les services sont parmi les meilleurs que nous ayons connus. J'ai perdu mon passeport et j'ai trouvé les grooms, les chauffeurs de taxi et notre représentant d'Air Transat, Marcus Chimis, extrêmement serviables et rassurants. Le groom m'a trouvé un chauffeur de taxi nommé Angel Omar Chavez Colli qui a passé la journée à nous emmener au poste de poli [... lire plus]ce (les policiers ne parlaient pas anglais) où il a traduit pour nous, nous a emmenés faire des photos d'identité puis au consulat, nous n'aurions pas pu le faire sans lui. Deux jours plus tard, Miguel Angel, un autre chauffeur de taxi, nous a emmenés récupérer notre passeport Ce fut une période très difficile pour moi, mais grâce à l'aide de toutes ces personnes merveilleuses travaillant au sein du complexe, je m'en suis sortie et j'ai profité de vacances fabuleuses. Merci beaucoup pour votre merveilleuse hospitalité et nous reviendrons certainement bientôt :) Siobhan et Jim Solecky

Fabulous resort that we will definitely return to We were at Barcelo Maya Beach Resort in May of this year; our second time there. Food, staff, rooms ameinities and services to be one of the best we have experienced. I lost my passport and I found the bell boys, taxi drivers and our air Transat rep Marcus Chimis to be extremely helpful and reassuring. The bell boy found me a Taxi Driver named Angel Omar Chavez Colli who spent the day taking us to the police station (police did not speak English ) where he translated for us, took us for passport photo's and then to the consulate, we could not have done it without him. Also 2days later Miguel Angel another Taxi Driver took us to pick-up our passport and was amazing!!! This was a very upsetting time for me, but through the help of all these wonderful people working through the resort, I got through it and enjoyed a fabulous vacation. Thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality and we will definitely return soon:) Siobhan and Jim Solecky

Barcelo Bavaro Beach: Magnifique !

Il est situé sur la plage et l'atmosphère est rafraîchissante. Tout le monde est gentil et agréable, mais presque personne ne parle anglais. La nourriture est bonne, il y a beaucoup d'options entre les restaurants. Très bon séjour dans l'ensemble !

Beautiful! It's right on the beach and the atmosphere is refreshing. Everyone is nice and pleasant, but they hardly anyone speaks English. The food is good, a lot of options between the restaurants. Great stay overall!

Barcelo Maya Beach Resort: Excellente station !

Excellent resort ! We stayed already 3 times in Barcelo and plan to visit it again and again - very nice deep beaches, amazing green space, perfect food and service, the personals with genuine sense of hospitality. I definitely recommend it to my friends

Barcelo Maya Palace: Un grand plaisir pour tout le monde !

J'ai tout aimé dans cet hôtel, la chambre était magnifique, le lit agréable, la salle de bain superbe, l'océan était magnifique et nourrissait les tortues de mer, la nourriture était 5 étoiles, les buffets étaient vraiment bons, c'était un moment incroyable, l'un de mes meilleurs amis s'est marié, c'était absolument stupéfiant

Great fun for everyone! I loved everything about this hotel the room was beautiful nice bed great bathroom the ocean was beautiful feeding sea turtles the food was 5 star buffets were really good it was amazing time one of my best friends got married there was absolutely stunning

Occidental Caribe: Génial et magnifique

L'hôtel était très beau et grand, la nourriture était très bonne, la plage propre et belle, on n'aurait pas pu demander mieux ! Je suggère de faire le festival des Caraïbes ! Le personnel est très sympathique ! Le spectacle de Michael Jackson est incroyable

Barcelo Maya Colonial: Une semaine au paradis !

Nous avons passé un séjour absolument fantastique au Barceló Colonial Resort ! Le site est d'une beauté inouïe et parfaitement entretenu. Il y a eu un peu de confusion à la réception concernant nos demandes de chambres, ce qui a pris 1 à 2 heures pour régler le problème, mais ils ont réussi et le reste du séjour a été absolument parfait. Nous voyagions avec 3 enfants de moins de 3 ans et les installations étaient parfaites pour eux. La piscine pour enfants se trouve à Colonial et les clients ven [... lire plus]aient de tout le resort pour l'utiliser, donc si c'est ce qui vous intéresse, vous devez absolument rester du côté de Colonial. Je dirais qu'elle est parfaite pour les enfants jusqu'à 7-8 ans et ils ne pouvaient pas s'en passer. De plus, le resort est tellement grand et bien aménagé que même au maximum de sa capacité, il n'y a jamais eu de foule nulle part. Nous avons toujours eu la même section de chaises de piscine et ils ont tous de superbes hamacs aussi... un ajout incroyable ! La plage est parfaite malgré quelques zones rocheuses et il n'y a pas de cabanes ou de parasols sur la plage, donc si vous avez besoin d'ombre à cause du soleil intense, vous n'avez pas de chance. Il y a beaucoup de grands palmiers minces mais les ombres se déplacent toutes les 30 minutes donc vous devez juste bouger un peu ou rester près de la piscine... Problèmes du premier monde ! Dans l'ensemble, nous avons adoré l'hôtel et l'avons déjà recommandé à toutes nos connaissances. Vous ne pouvez pas vous tromper si vous réservez ici... L'argent durement gagné des vacances a été très bien dépensé !!!

A week in paradise! We had an absolutely fantastic stay at the Barceló Colonial resort! The grounds are beyond beautiful and immaculately maintained. There was a bit of confusion at reception about meeting our room requests which took 1-2 hours to sort out but they got it right and the rest of the trip was absolutely perfect. We were traveling with 3 kids under 3 years old and the facilities were perfect for them. The kids splash pool is at Colonial and guest were coming from all over the resort to use it so if that's what you are interested in then you definitely want to stay at the Colonial side. I'd say its perfect for kids up to 7-8 years old and they just could not get enough of it. Also the resort is so big and well played out that even at max capacity you never felt crowds anywhere. We always got the same pool chairs section and they all have awesome hammocks too.. incredible addition! The beach is picture perfect despite some rocky areas and also there are no huts or umbrellas at the beach so if you need shade because of the intense sun then you're a bit out of luck. There are lots of tall thin palm trees but the shadows move every 30 min so you just need to move a bit or stick to the pool.. First world problems!! All in all we loved the resort and have already been recommending it to everyone we know. You can't go wrong if you book here.. Hard earned vacation money very well spent!!!
