Sympathique, confortable et la plupart du personnel très serviable.

Le terrain de Villas So a été entretenu régulièrement. Même le personnel à quatre pattes était amical et à portée de main. La vue depuis notre salle à manger était magnifique et c'était une joie de la voir tous les matins au petit déjeuner. Le temps a été très clément pendant nos 7 jours de séjour. Toutes les personnes que nous avons rencontrées au centre de villégiature (le personnel) étaient agréables, serviables et toujours souriantes et accueillantes, avec une conversation joyeuse. Nous avon [... lire plus]s rencontré quelques membres du personnel qui ne souhaitaient pas nous aider à résoudre une question ou un problème. .... nous avons donc poursuivi notre chemin et trouvé quelqu'un qui était tout à fait disposé à nous aider et à nous fournir une réponse. Cela peut arriver n'importe où... et n'importe où vous allez. Rien n'est parfait et les gens ont de mauvais jours. Nous avons donc poursuivi notre route et notre voyage a été extraordinaire, très amusant et plein de rires.

Friendly, cosy, and most staff very helpful. The grounds of Villas So was kept up on a regular bases. Even the 4 legged staff where friendly at arms lengths. The view from our dinning area was beautiful and a joy to see every morning for breakfast. The weather was very kind during our 7 days away. Every person we came into contact with at the resort (staff) pleasant, helpful and always a smile and greeting with a joyful conversation. We did come in contact with a very few staff that did not wish to help us out with a question or problem solution....so we moved on and found someone that was very open to help us out and provide us an answer. This can happen anywhere...and any place you go. Nothing is perfect and people have bad days. So we moved on and our trip was amazing, and lots of fun and full of laughter.

Excellente situation

L'hôtel était très bien, même s'il ne s'agit que d'un complexe 3,5 étoiles. Les chambres étaient propres et très confortables. Nous avions un lit king size et il était très confortable. La partie hôtel du complexe est le meilleur endroit pour séjourner, elle est proche de tout et ne vous oblige pas à utiliser la navette chaque fois que vous voulez aller dîner ou au bar, car les collines menant aux villas sont assez raides. La nourriture au buffet était bonne et même si elle manquait de variété,  [... lire plus]il y en avait assez pour satisfaire tout le monde. J'ai rencontré une femme qui avait des allergies alimentaires et l'hôtel l'a aidée en lui préparant un régime spécial. Il y a un restaurant à la carte et nous avons eu droit à 2 dîners dans la semaine et la nourriture était très bonne. La plage est à environ 10 minutes de marche et il y a une navette qui circule toutes les 10 minutes environ si vous préférez. Il n'y a pas de bar à la plage pour le complexe mais il y a de l'eau et des boissons non alcoolisées gratuites. C'est une bonne façon d'oublier l'alcool et de se rafraîchir en nageant. La plage fait environ 2 km de long et est sûre pendant la journée, mais n'est pas recommandée la nuit en raison de la vie sauvage qui sort la nuit. Les vagues étaient de taille raisonnable et il était possible de s'y baigner. Nous avons fait deux excursions que nous avons réservées par l'intermédiaire d'Air Canada au centre de villégiature et elles étaient formidables. Il y avait beaucoup d'animaux au resort, des singes, des iguanes et beaucoup de chats et d'oiseaux. Même avec tous ces animaux, ils ne vous dérangeaient pas et se comportaient très bien. Le seul reproche que nous ayons fait est qu'Air Canada n'avait pas d'informations dans le hall sur les heures de ramassage pour notre retour à la maison, nous avons donc dû nous fier à l'un des autres clients qui a appelé le représentant d'Air Canada pour obtenir les détails. Dans l'ensemble, nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'hôtel et nous y reviendrons certainement.

Great Location The hotel was very good even though it is only a 3.5 star resort. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. We had a king size bed and it was very comfortable. The hotel part of the resort is the best place to stay admit is close to everything and doesn't require you to use the shuttle every time you want to go to dinner or the bar as the hills to the villas are quite steep. The food at the buffet was good and even though it lacked variety it had enough to satisfy everyone. Met one woman who had food allergies and the resort accommodated her by cooking her a special diet. There was an el la carte restaurant and we were entitled to 2 dinners there in the week and the food was very good. The beach is about a 10 min walk and there is a shuttle which runs every 10 mins or so if you prefer. There is no bar at the beach for the resort but they do have water and soft drinks free of charge there. It is a good break from the alcohol while you have a refreshing swim. Beach is about 2 km long and safe during the day but not recommended at night due to the wild life that comes out at night. Waves were a reasonable size and very swimmable. We did 2 excursions which we booked through Air Canada at the resort and they were great, very good way to see the country side and animals. There was many animals at the resort, monkeys, iguanas and lots of cats and birds. Even with all the animals around they didn't bother you and were very well behaved. Only complaint we had was that Air Canada didn't have any info in the lobby about pick up times in the lobby for our return home so we had to rely on one of the other guests who called the Air Canada representative to get the details. Over all enjoy it very much and will definitely return.

Un centre de villégiature moyen, mais un bon moment !

Nous avons récemment séjourné au Villas Sol Resort et nous avons globalement passé un bon moment. Voici quelques avantages et inconvénients de notre point de vue. Le pour : - Excellent service de la part du personnel - Chambre décente avec climatisation très efficace - La nourriture était excellente - seulement 1 à la carte ; mais c'était excellent - Très proche de la plage mais pas en bord de mer - Vues magnifiques dans tout le complexe Inconvénients : - Manque d'activités et de divertissemen [... lire plus]ts - Le complexe est situé sur une colline, il faut donc beaucoup marcher. Ils ont cependant un service de navette - Le réfrigérateur de la chambre n'est jamais rempli. - Pression de l'eau très basse dans la chambre et manque d'eau chaude - Variété de boissons limitée, mais très bonnes portions ! Le Costa Rica est globalement magnifique et nous avons passé un très bon moment !

Average Resort but a great time! We recently stayed at Villas Sol Resort and overall had a great time. Below are some pros and cons from our perspective. Pros: - Excellent staff service throughout - Decent room with very efficient A/C - Food was great- only 1 a later carte; but was excellent - Very close to beach but not beachfront - Beautiful Views throughout the resort Cons: - Lack of activities and entertainment - Resort on hill so lots of walking. They do however have a shuttle service - Fridge in room doesn't get stocked with anything. - Water pressure very low in room with lack of hot water - Limited drink variety; however very good portions! Costa Rica is overall gorgeous and we had a very nice time!

Merveilleux moment - calme, détente

La vue depuis notre villa était magnifique. Le choix de nourriture était limité mais ce qu'ils avaient était très frais, bon et savoureux. Le personnel était très sympathique et arrangeant. Dans l'ensemble, si vous recherchez le calme et la détente, c'est l'endroit idéal.

Wonderful time - quiet, relaxing The view from our villa was beautiful. The slection of food was limited but what they had was very fresh, good and tasty. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Overall if you are looking for a quiet, relaxing time then this is the place.
