Dans l'ensemble, la nourriture était correcte, mais j'ai mangé du poulet du restaurant qui avait mal tourné et qui m'a rendu malade ! La nourriture au restaurant de la plage est laissée à découvert, ce qui permet aux oiseaux de se régaler lorsqu'ils ne sont pas surveillés ! Je conseillerais de ne manger qu'au buffet intérieur

Resort Overall food was ok but had chicken from restaurant that had gone bad that made me ill!! Food at beach restaurant is left out uncovered allowing birds to feast in it when unattended!! Would advise only eating from indoor buffet

Grand centre de villégiature

Superbe hôtel. J'ai apprécié, un peu loin de la plage cependant. La nourriture peut être améliorée...plus de choix pourraient être offerts. Le personnel était gentil, serviable et amical. Très accueillant et attentionné. La seule difficulté était l'heure d'arrivée très tardive.

Great Resort Great Resort. I enjoyed it, a bit far to the beach though. The food can be improved...more choices could be given. The staff was kind, helpful and friendly. Very welcoming and caring. The only difficulty was the check in time was very late.

C'était mon 8ème ou 9ème séjour à Las Morlas. Ceux qui l'aiment y retournent. Je n'y étais pas retourné depuis 3,5 ans, mais à mon retour, j'ai été accueilli comme si j'étais venu la semaine dernière. L'hôtel s'est étendu à deux propriétés, côte à côte, et nous avons donc reçu des bracelets platine pour accéder aux deux. (Les repas ne sont servis que dans l'établissement principal). Les chambres ont été récemment repeintes et tout le mobilier est neuf. Propre et frais. Nous étions dans la  [... lire plus]chambre 202 qui se trouve juste au-dessus de la discothèque (et de la scène de divertissement nocturne), donc à moins que vous ne vouliez participer jusqu'à 23 heures, demandez une chambre plus éloignée. Si vous vous couchez à 11 heures ou plus tard, c'est un endroit fabuleux, avec une vue magnifique. Il y a d'importants travaux de construction à côté (MAJOR)... mais nous n'avons RIEN entendu ! C'est un chantier très fréquenté, mais pas un bruit ne se fait entendre jusqu'à Las Morlas. Je pense que les travaux les plus bruyants ont déjà eu lieu. Le personnel, comme toujours, était accueillant et très amusant. Quelques habitués ont déménagé dans l'autre propriété, mais on les trouve facilement pour leur dire bonjour et les rattraper. Les boutiques sur place ne manquent de rien, à des prix raisonnables. Il est facile de se rendre à pied en ville pour y trouver une variété de magasins. Beaucoup d'influence italienne aujourd'hui, au centre-ville et au Plaza Americas ( ?)

Lovely.....againnnnnn! This was my 8th or 9th stay at Las Morlas. Those who like it, go back. I hadn't been back in 3.5 years, but upon my return, I was greeted like I had been there last week. The hotel has expanded to 2 properties, side-by-side, so we were given platinum bracelets to access both. (Meals at the primary property only). The rooms have been recently painted, and all new furniture. Clean & fresh. We were in Room 202 which is right above the disco (and nightly entertainment stage), so unless you are going to participate until 11pm, ask for a room further away. If you go to bed at 11 or after, it's a fabulous location, with a great view. There is major construction next door (MAJOR).. but we heard NOTHING! It's a busy construction site, but not a peep seeps through to Las Morlas. I think the noisy stuff has already happened. The staff, as always, were welcoming and a great deal of fun. A few of the regulars have moved over to the other property, but were easily found to say hello and catch up. On-site shops leave you wanting for nothing, at reasonable prices. Easy walk into town for a variety of shops. A lot of Italian influence now; downtown and at Plaza Americas (?)

Merveilleuse semaine comme d'habitude !

C'était mon quatrième séjour à Las Morlas et c'était encore mieux cette fois-ci que la précédente. Propreté, excellent service et personnel amical. Très bonne nourriture servie dans une atmosphère décontractée. Les divertissements étaient bons mais il aurait pu y avoir plus de musique et moins de sketchs italiens ridicules.

Wonderful week as usual! This was my fourth stay at Las Morlas and it was even better this time than the last. Clean, great service and friendly staff. Very good food served in a casual atmosphere. Entertainment was good but could have more music and less Italian silly skits.

Excellente situation

Nous venons de rentrer de Cuba et bien que le temps n'ait pas été au rendez-vous, le reste des vacances a été formidable. L'hôtel est petit et sympathique avec une clientèle majoritairement italienne. La nourriture était très bonne et très variée. Le seul petit inconvénient était que la nourriture était souvent froide malgré le fait que nous étions les premiers à manger. Cappuccinos à mourir :) Nous avons pu passer beaucoup de temps avec Haylenis (Hayley) qui nous a divertis et nous a informés s [... lire plus]ur Cuba. Elle a une très grande personnalité et était très amusante. Ces personnes travaillent dur, sont toujours souriantes et cherchent à plaire. Le directeur de l'hôtel (italien) s'est habillé en tenue normale et s'est mêlé aux clients, ce qui lui a permis d'être au courant des lacunes. Il y a eu de nombreuses améliorations depuis notre dernière visite dans cet hôtel, notamment de nouveaux lits confortables, des couvre-lits, des unités de climatisation et des réfrigérateurs de bar. Le nettoyage et les travaux de peinture et de réparation sont constants, ce qui n'a en aucun cas gêné notre plaisir. Les vacanciers ont tendance à fumer davantage, donc si vous êtes sensible à cela, il y a beaucoup d'espace pour l'éviter. Les pourboires semblent peu nombreux par rapport à notre dernière visite. Il semble que les Italiens soient moins enclins à remercier le service avec quelques pesos. Notre dollar est une semaine, nous avons donc reçu 6 CUCS et de la monnaie pour 10 dollars canadiens. Les plus belles plages du monde !

Great Location We just got back from Cuba and while the weather was not great, the rest of the vacation was terrific. This hotel is small and friendly with a predominately Italian clientele.The food was very good with lots of variety.The only minor downside was, the food was often cold despite being the first diners. Cappuccinos to die for :) The animation staff mingled with the guests which was a nice touch and we were able to spend a lot of time with Haylenis (Hayley) who entertained us as well as educated us about Cuba.She has a very big personality and was lots of fun. These people work hard, always smile and definitely aim to please. The hotel manager(Italian) dressed in regular clothing and mingled with the guests so was on top of deficiencies. There have been many upgrades since our last visit to this hotel some of which include new comfortable beds/bedspreads, air conditioning units and bar fridges.There is constant cleaning and painting/repair work which in no way interfered with the enjoyment. Being close to downtown we took the bus or a vintage car cab a few times and even walked when we were feeling energetic. Holiday folks tend to smoke more so if you are sensitive to that there is lots of space to avoid it.The dining room is non smoking. Tipping seemed sparse by comparison to our last visit. Seems the Italian folks are less inclined to say thanks for the service with a few pesos. Our dollar is week so we got 6 and change CUCS for $10 CDN. The most beautiful beaches anywhere!!

C'était bien

Il a le potentiel pour devenir un endroit formidable, il est plus petit et facile à parcourir. Il est un peu vieillot et aurait besoin d'un peu de peinture et d'entretien. La nourriture et les choix de menus doivent être revus et changés un peu plus souvent.

It was ok It has the potential to be an awesome place, it's smaller and easy to get around. It is a little dated and could use some paint and upkeep on the grounds. The food and menu choices need to be reviewed and changed a bit more often.

Déçu

Cet hôtel avait reçu d'excellentes critiques et c'est pourquoi nous avons choisi d'y aller. Je suis désolé de dire que nous n'avons pas trouvé le service très bon. Il semble qu'ils voulaient un pourboire avant de vous donner un bon service plutôt qu'après. Je dois dire que certains étaient l'exception et étaient très amicaux, mais la plupart étaient juste là pour faire un travail. Nous avons trouvé que les divertissements n'étaient pas bien annoncés, si vous tombiez dessus par hasard, vous pouvi [... lire plus]ez les voir. Les seules informations diffusées étaient cachées dans des endroits où très peu de gens les trouvaient, et les choses qui devaient se produire à certains moments étaient souvent oubliées, en retard ou n'avaient pas lieu du tout. Nous sommes restés deux semaines et nous avons regretté d'avoir réservé pour deux semaines. Cela fait au moins 15 fois que nous avons fait de Cuba notre destination et c'est le seul hôtel où nous ne voudrions pas retourner. La nourriture, bien qu'abondante, était la même jour après jour, très fade, les hamburgers pas assez cuits, pas d'assaisonnement pour les salades, seulement de la mayonnaise qui reste au soleil pendant des heures. Les desserts étaient les mêmes tous les jours, de nombreux gâteaux tous brûlés au fond et qui avaient tous le même goût sucré mais sans saveur. Il y a eu deux occasions où la nourriture était différente et beaucoup plus variée et c'était quand les V.I.P. étaient là. Cet hôtel pourrait faire beaucoup mieux s'il engageait un bon chef et quelqu'un qui puisse faire des desserts. Et s'ils formaient leur personnel à être plus serviable, ils pourraient recevoir des pourboires plus généreux

Dissappointed This hotel was given great reviews and that is why we chose to go to this resort. I am sorry to say we did not think the service so great. It seemed they wanted a tip before they gave you good service instead of after.I have to say some were the exception and were very friendly but most were just there to do a job. We found that the entertainment was nor well advertised if you happened to stumble on it you got to see it . They could have had it posted for people to know what was going on and where it would be held , by the dinning room where all could see it. the only information broad was tucked away where very few people would ever find it ,and things that were supposed to happen at certain times were many times just forgotten about or late or did not take place at all. We were there for two weeks and were sorry we booked for two. This is at least 15 times we have made Cuba our destination and the only hotel we would not care to go back to. The food though plentiful was very much the same day after day, very bland, hamburgers under cooked, no dressing for salads only mayonaise sitting in the sun for hours. Pasta at night was the only thing that was hot and had very little flavor in the sauce,more like tomato soup.Desserts were the same everyday many cakes all burnt on the bottom and all tasted the same sweet but no flavor.There was two occasions where the food was different and much better variety and that was when the V.I .P`S were there. This hotel could do much better if they brought in a good chef and some one who could do desserts . And if they trained their staff to be more helpful they could be tipped more generously

Superbe petite station

Nous avons séjourné à Las Morelas pendant une semaine.en février 2015. C'était un excellent séjour. Le resort est petit ce que nous avons vraiment aimé. Nous avons séjourné dans des stations plus grandes que nous avons trouvé juste trop grand. La nourriture était vraiment bonne. Beaucoup de choix au buffet. Le terrain et la piscine de l'hôtel étaient propres. Tout le personnel était sympathique et très arrangeant. La chambre était décente pour les standards cubains. Rien de spectaculaire mais to [... lire plus]ujours propre. Dans l'ensemble, l'hôtel avait une atmosphère calme et détendue. Un bon endroit pour les adultes et les familles qui cherchent à se détendre et à ne pas faire la fête toute la nuit. Il y a d'autres hôtels sur le strip pour cela.

Great small resort We stayed at Las Morelas for a week.in February 2015. It was a great stay. The resort is small which we really liked. We have stayed at larger resorts that we found just to big. The food was really good. Lots of choices at the buffet. The grounds and pool of the hotel were kept clean. All the staff were friendly and very accommodating. The room was decent for Cuba standards. Nothing spectacular but always clean. Overall the hotel had a calm relaxed atmosphere. A good place for adults and families looking to unwind and not party all night. There are other hotels on the strip for that.

Nous venons de rentrer d'une semaine à Varadero où nous avons séjourné avec mon mari et mes deux sœurs. L'endroit était magnifiquement aménagé, le personnel était très agréable et amical. Les chambres étaient propres et bien entretenues. Les divertissements étaient corrects. Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances

Would return We just returned form a week in Varadero staying with my husband and two sisters at this time. The place was beautifully laid out, the staff were very pleasant and friendly. rooms were clean and well maintained Entertainment was ok . We had a great vacation

Je reviendrai certainement

Tous ceux qui ont pris l'avion à Hamilton savent que c'est le seul moyen de voyager. Le vol de Sunwing était très bon. Las morlas est le centre de villégiature que je cherchais depuis des années. Il est plus petit, il n'y a donc pas beaucoup de marche à faire pour se rendre n'importe où sur le terrain. Le personnel est agréable, amical, serviable et parle tous l'anglais. La nourriture était très bonne, la piscine et le bar de la piscine agréables, le bar de la plage agréable et le terrain agréab [... lire plus]le tout autour. Je suis un voyageur seul mais je n'ai pas eu l'impression que c'était le cas. Si vous voulez faire la fête, cet endroit n'est probablement pas fait pour vous. Il semble plutôt destiné aux jeunes familles et aux personnes de plus de 35 ans. Je suis rentré le 14 janvier et j'y retourne le 25 février... Pour moins de 1 100 euros, vous ne pouvez pas vous tromper. Les gens ont fini de repeindre l'endroit et c'est très joli. Personne ne cherche de pourboires mais vous méritez quelque chose de temps en temps. Essayez-le

I wil definitely being returningl Anyone who has flown out of hamilton know its the only way to travel. Sunwing flight was very good. Las morlas is the resort i have been looking for years. Its smaller so not a lot of walking to get anywhere on the grounds. The staff are pleasant, friendly, helpful and they all speak English. The food was very good ,nice pool and pool bar,nice beach bar ,and pleasant grounds all around. I am a single traveller but it didnt feel like it for sure. If you are going down to party hard this place is probably not for you. It seems more for young families and people over 35 or so. I got back jan 14 and I amm going back feb 25..Under 1,100.00 you cant go wrong. They just finishing painting the place and it looks very nice. no one looks for tips but y deserve something from time to time. Try it I

Be Live Las Morlas Un grand centre de villégiature

Nous séjournons dans ce magnifique complexe depuis 20 ans et il ne cesse de s'améliorer. Ma femme et moi sommes des habitués de la plage jusqu'à cette année où, par nécessité, nous avons dû rester autour de la piscine. Nous avons appris à nous adapter et avons passé d'excellentes vacances. Comme toujours, le personnel a fait preuve de prévenance et d'attention et s'est beaucoup investi pour rendre nos vacances si spéciales. Nous voulions remercier tout le personnel et nous avons commencé à les é [... lire plus]numérer, mais nous avions peur d'oublier quelqu'un. Ils ont tous été formidables et chacun mérite d'être reconnu. Nous disons donc à tout le personnel de Las Morlas "MERCI POUR NOS BONNES VACANCES". Mon anniversaire a été célébré pendant 5 jours. Nous avons également rencontré le directeur des ventes (Jefe de Ventas), Jorge A. Perez, des hôtels Be Live à Cuba C'est tellement agréable d'être si bien traité. Nous reviendrons au printemps et à l'automne prochain. Quand on trouve un endroit où l'on se sent si bien accueilli, on a envie d'y retourner.

Be Live Las Morlas A great resort We have been staying at this beautiful resort for 20 years and it keeps getting better. Both my wife and I are beach people until this year when out of necessity we had to stay around the pool. We learned how to adapt and had a great vacation. The staff as always were thoughtful and caring and gave much of themselves to make our holiday so special. We wanted to say thank you to all the staff and we started to list them but we were afraid of missing someone. They were all so great and everyone deserves to be recognized. So we are saying to everyone at Las Morlas "THANK YOU FOR OUR GREAT HOLIDAY". My birthday lasted for 5 days of celebration. WE also got to meet the Sales Manager (Jefe de Ventas), Jorge A. Perez of the Be Live Hotels in Cuba It is so nice to be treated so well. We will be returning in the spring and again next fall. When you find a place that makes you feel so welcome, you definitely want to go back.

Endroit idéal

nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Cuba, avec une grande piscine, une grande plage, une grande cuisine et un grand service... Merci à Lasmorlas. L'hôtel est agréable et confortable, pas trop grand, ce qui nous a plu, la piscine est idéale pour les enfants car elle est souvent profonde de 2 à 3 pieds, le lac est agréable... Nous y sommes allés deux fois... La saison est un peu creuse, mais nous y retournerons certainement

great spot had agreat visit to cuba.. great pool.. great beach..great food and great service... . thanks belive lasmorlas. hotel is nice and cozy not too big which we liked , pool was great for kids as alot of it was 2-3 ft deep, a lacarte was nice.. we went twice... bit of a slow season but would definitely go back
