Tired Resort, Outdated...

This resort was very tired and outdated, the grounds and gardens need a lot of work, the pool is falling apart, my boyfriend actually cut both his feet in the pool on the first day and he struggled with walking the rest of the trip...Room service selection was minimal to begin with and they ran out of what they did have multiple nights.. We had no water on the resort for over 12 hours when we arrived, we couldn't shower, brush our teeth or use the bathroom (and flush) it was quite disgusting and [... lire plus] disappointing. The staff was very friendly and kind, but any concerns we addressed with management were not dealt with at all. The buffet and restaurants were decent... This was our first time at a Riu resort and it did not live up to the Riu brand at all, very disappointing.

Great Location

I loved the resort, food was good, pool was amazing just want I need for a relaxing vacation. The service staff was fantastic and I would recommend hotel and St. Martin as the people were very friendly and we had no problems except the stay was too short.

Great resort! Amazing experience

The hotel is enclosed by mountains. It makes it super inclusive and intimate. The beach is on the smaller side however it is very clean. Had a great time. The staff was amazing and extremely helpful in making sure we did not lack of anything. The rooms are a great size and clean. Wi-fi all around the resort is great plus.

Amazing resort , great people

I enjoyed myself , the resort was just extremely clean, the service was just fantastic. Made some new friends. A shout to Romeo, Claude, baby face, Antoinette, Patricio all the ladies from the entertainment. It is definitely a place that my family and I will viait again..

Beautiful resort!

The resort is beautiful! The food was excellent, great quality and variety on the buffet. The staff were friendly and provided great service. The pool was very nice, with an infinity pool and you didn't have to hunt for lounge chairs as there were always some available. The location is very picturesque, surrounded by mountains. The resort was well maintained and always clean. It's somewhat remote from the main city (Phillipsburg) on the island but we took advantage of the shuttle to do a bit of  [... lire plus]shopping (cab rides are expensive on the island). I would defintely recommend this resort!

Beautiful resort

Do not listen to the bad reviews about this place. Our room was beautifully renovated, fresh and clean, air conditioning worked extremely well, bed was so comfortable. Food was delicious best we've ever had at an all inclusive. Beach was beautiful, but unfortunatey week we were there had too much seaweed and beach crew could not keep up so it looked message (Mar 1-8). Wi-Fi was amazing, so strong. There is nothing bad to say about place, except the entertainment. Because the hotel is so remote a [... lire plus]nd you cannot get off the resort without taking an expensive taxi, they need to improve on that aspect, but it is not a dealbreaker. The T.V. had excellent shows to watch on it. So that's about it. If you go here, you will not be disappointed (unless you are a previous Radisson Blu guest or Riu Palace guest as they seemed to complain the most).

Quiet lovely resort

Good food,sunshine,clean room,nice people. What's not to like? This is not a teenagers or action filled resort. The only suggestion I would have is a resort is for coffee or tea dedicated area for all hours (not at the bar or in your room)

Really enjoyed this resort small, clean, staff was very nice except for the reception not smiling made you feel like you are bothering them, food was excellent room spacious and clean, nice beach, entertainment needs a bit of fine tooning

Quite resort

the hotel should be fully functional now with 3 speciality restaruarnt. rooms are very quite. staff is excellent. excellent beach. french side seems to deal all in us dollars. they have a full stock of any kind of drinks/alcohol

Great resort....

We were very impressed with the hotel, but especially the staff. So, friendly, and go out of their way to please. Great beach,and pool area was also wonderful. Clean, and tidy and easy to find a place there. The only thing that I feel would make this better is if they had more entertainment that was not in the lobby, as there is not enough seating for everyone to sit and enjoy. Over all the place was great. There was some construction being done, but it was not disruptive or overly loud as some  [... lire plus]people have said. Good job for Riu who has recently taken over...
