Belle plage, proche de Playa

J'ai voyagé avec mes deux enfants, âgés de 11 et 20 ans. On nous a donné un lit King pour la première nuit et on nous a placés dans une chambre proche du théâtre bruyant. La nuit suivante, nous avons été placés dans une chambre double avec un lit d'enfant et plus proche de la plage. Si vous le pouvez, demandez des chambres dans les bâtiments 6, 7 ou 8. L'équipe de divertissement était incroyable. La nourriture dans les buffets était également très bonne, meilleure que dans les restaurants. La pl [... lire plus]age était magnifique et le complexe très propre. C'est un excellent complexe si vous aimez les petits complexes. Tout était à quelques minutes de marche. Il y a aussi une petite zone commerciale avec un Starbucks de l'autre côté de la rue. Vous pouvez marcher jusqu'à Playa ou prendre un taxi pour 90 pesos. Je reviendrais absolument dans cet hôtel.

Beautiful beach, close to Playa I travelled with my two children, age 11 and 20. We were given a King bed our first night and was placed in a room close to the noisy theatre. The next night they moved us the to a double room with a cot and closer to the beach. If you can, request rooms in buildings 6,7 or 8. The entertainment staff was incredible. The food in the buffetts was also really good, better than the restraunts. The beach was beautiful and the resort was very clean. Great resort if you like a smaller resort. Everything was within a minutes walk. Also, a nice little shopping area with a Starbucks right across the street. You could walk into Playa or take a cab for 90 pesos. I would absolutely stay here again.

Grand hôtel

L'hôtel a été entièrement rénové. Les chambres sont grandes, modernes et très propres. Buffet testaraunts bon choix et qualité de la nourriture. Le personnel était très aimable et souriant. Le service au bar était bon. Très bon accès à une belle et grande plage de sable. Les piscines étaient toujours propres. Nombreuses chaises longues autour des piscines et sur la plage. Bon emplacement avec un court trajet en taxi jusqu'à la 5ème avenue. Petit centre commercial de l'autre côté de la  [... lire plus]rue, les animations nocturnes étaient médiocres.

Great hotel Hotel has been totally renovated. Rooms are large, modern and kept very clean. Buffet testaraunts good selection and quality of food. Staff through out were very friendly and smiling. Bar service was good. Great access to beautiful wide sandy beach. Pools were always clean. Ample loungers around pools and on beach. Good location with short taxi ride to 5th Avenue. Small shopping center accross the street, Nightly entertainment was poor.

Un lieu de villégiature parfait

Mon amie et moi revenons d'une semaine au Riu Plyacar. C'était le lieu de villégiature idéal - ni trop grand, ni trop petit. Même s'il y avait beaucoup de clients, il n'y avait jamais de foule et il n'y avait pas d'attente dans les bars. Même les jours où nous avons fait la grasse matinée, nous avons toujours pu trouver des chaises au bord de la piscine. Le complexe et les chambres étaient impeccables. Bien que nous ayons choisi ce complexe en partie parce que nous n'avions pas besoin de rés [... lire plus]erver dans les restaurants à la carte, nous avons mangé au buffet tous les soirs. Il y avait beaucoup de choix pour nous satisfaire tous les deux. L'équipe de divertissement était remarquable. Ils ont travaillé jour et nuit pour organiser de nombreuses activités de jour (poker, aquagym, Zumba, volley-ball, football, bocce ball et chevaux, pour n'en citer que quelques-unes), puis ils ont dirigé le spectacle du soir. Ils étaient sympathiques avec tous les clients, quel que soit leur âge. N'hésitez pas à réserver ce complexe. Vous l'adorerez.

Perfect Resort My friend and I just returned from a week at Riu Plyacar. It was the perfect resort - not too big and not too small. Even though there were a lot of guests, it never felt crowded and there were no waits at any of the bars. Even on the days we slept in a bit, we could always find chairs by the pool. The resort and rooms were immaculate. Although we picked this resort partly due to the fact we didn't need to make reservations at the ala carte restaurants, we ate at the buffet every night. There we lots of choices to keep both of us happy. The entertainment crew were outstanding. They worked day and night running numerous daytime events ( poker, aqua fitness, Zumba, volleyball, soccer, bocce ball and horse shoes to name a few ) and then ran the evening show. They were friendly to all guests regardless of age. Do not hesitate to book this resort. You will love it.

Grand centre de villégiature !!!!!

Le centre de vacances était très propre, les divertissements étaient incroyables. L'équipe de jour était très interactive et faisait participer les gens. Cependant, la climatisation de notre chambre ne descendait pas en dessous de 23 degrés. En été, ce n'est pas assez froid. Le climatiseur de la chambre de nos enfants fonctionnait mieux. Nous avons appelé le service, il n'est jamais venu, nous avons appelé à nouveau, l'homme s'est présenté mais n'a rien fait. L'ala cart japonais n'avait rien de  [... lire plus]spécial. Je n'ai pas aimé l'italien. Le restaurant mexicain et le steak house étaient très bons. Très proche de Playa del Carmen, j'ai fini par manger dehors quelques soirs. La plage était INCROYABLE !!!! Magnifique avec des palmiers partout, beaucoup de chaises.

Great resort!!!!! The resort was very clean, The entertainment was amazing. The day crew was very interactive got people involved. However the air conditioning in our room would not go lower than 23 degrees. In the summer that is not cold enough. Our kids rooms air conditioner was working better. Called for service they never came, called again the man showed but did nothing. The Japanese ala cart was nothing special. Did not enjoy the Italian. Mexican and steak house were very good. Very close to playa del Carmen, actually ended up eating out a few nights. Beach was INCREDIBLE!!!! Beautiful with palms all over, plenty of chairs.

Une station géniale !

C'était notre quatrième séjour dans ce complexe. Le complexe récemment rénové est très moderne, avec de belles couleurs vives. Le complexe est petit, ce qui rend tout très pratique pas trop loin de n'importe quel endroit. La nourriture est excellente et très variée, le service est excellent. Tout le personnel est très sympathique et se met en quatre pour rendre votre séjour agréable. J'ai hâte d'y retourner l'année prochaine.

Awesome resort!! This was our 4th time to this resort. The newly renovated resort is very modern, with nice bright colors. The resort is small, making everything very handy. not too far to get to any location. The food is great with a lot of variety, the service is excellent. All the staff are very friendly and go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. Looking forward to going again next year.

Le "centre de villégiature idéal"

Propreté exceptionnelle, terrain très bien entretenu, nourriture excellente....e personnel est très amical, serviable et arrangeant. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour. De plus, le complexe n'était pas trop grand pour que vous ayez à marcher de longues distances jusqu'à la plage ou aux restaurants... c'était aussi un excellent emplacement car nous étions à distance de marche de Playa del Carmen pour faire du shopping.

The "Ideal Resort" Exceptionally clean, grounds very well maintained, food was excellent....the staff are very friendly, helpful and accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Also, the resort was not too big that you had to walk long distances to the beach area or eating areas... it was also a great location as we were walking distance to Playa del Carmen to shop.

Un lieu de villégiature fantastique !

Le RIU Playacar est un petit complexe magnifique. Nous y étions du 16 au 27 janvier 2016. Le personnel de la station était exceptionnel, du personnel de nettoyage au barman et au personnel CSR. Avec ce complexe, vous pouvez utiliser 3 des 5 autres RIU. Les terrains étaient bien entretenus, la nourriture était exceptionnelle, et le fait d'être à 8 dollars (US) en taxi du centre-ville de Playa Del Carmen (5 minutes en voiture) était un bonus ! Les chambres étaient très bien nettoyées. L'hôtel a ét [... lire plus]é rénové, je pense pour le mieux ! J'hésitais beaucoup à aller au Mexique au départ, mais à mon arrivée, je me suis sentie en sécurité, même en me promenant d'un hôtel à l'autre, ainsi qu'au centre-ville la nuit. Le personnel de service, en particulier " KEVIN ", était remarquable. Le barman " ENRIQUE " et 3 autres messieurs dont je ne me souviens pas des noms (Lobby Bar) étaient exceptionnels ! Nous n'avons jamais eu à attendre pour une boisson. "EVER, le représentant de Coco Bongo, était génial (je ne sais pas s'il faisait partie de l'hôtel), mais il s'est occupé de nous lorsque nous sommes allés à Coco Bongo. En ce qui concerne les alacarte (désolé pour l'orthographe), ils étaient pratiquement morts, uniquement parce que le buffet était si bon. Les piscines étaient correctes (je n'aime pas m'asseoir au bord de la piscine, donc), le swim up bar était génial ! beaucoup d'espace. La plage était incroyable, l'eau était chaude comme dans une baignoire. Dans l'ensemble, nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cet hôtel ! Nous aurions aimé ne pas avoir à partir.

Fantastic Resort! The RIU Playacar was a small beautiful resort. We were there from Jan 16th - 27th, 2016. The resort staff were outstanding, From the cleaning staff to bartender's and CSR staff. With this resort you can use 3 of the 5 other RIU's as well. The grounds were well maintained, food was outstanding, and being a $8 dollar ( US ) cab ride from downtown Playa Del Carmen ( 5min drive ) was a bonus! The rooms were very well cleaned. The hotel was renovated, I think for the better! I was very hesitant to go to Mexico to begin with, but when I arrived I felt very safe even walking from resort to resort, as well as downtown at night. The wait staff especially " KEVIN " was outstanding. the bartender " ENRIQUE " and 3 other gentlemen sorry cant remember there names ( Lobby Bar ) were exceptional! we never had to wait for a drink. "EVER" the Coco Bongo Rep was awesome ( not sure if he was part of the resort ), but took great care of us when we went to Coco Bongo. As far as alacarte ( sorry for spelling ) there were pretty much dead, only because the buffet was so good. the pools were ok ( not a sitting by the pool person so ) the swim up bar was great! lots of room. Beach was amazing, water was bath tub warm. so Overall it was an amazing time at this Hotel! wish we didn't have to leave.

Très belle station balnéaire, belle plage, terrain bien entretenu, personnel très coopératif, nourriture très bonne, pas trop impressionné par le restaurant steak house, les enjeux n'étaient pas si grands, les animations nocturnes et les activités de plage étaient excellentes, le seul point négatif concernant le restaurant était les vendeurs sur la plage, constamment, jour après jour, à chaque heure de la journée, il y avait des vendeurs sur la plage qui s'approchaient de vous pour vous demander [... lire plus] si vous vouliez acheter de l'argent, des lunettes de soleil, des chapeaux, etc..

great resort Very nice resort beautiful beach grounds are well maintained staff very cooperative the food was very good not too impressed with the steak house restaurant stakes weren't that great nightly entertainment and beach activities were excellent the one negative point about the restaurant was the vendors on the beach consistently day in and day out every hour of the day there were vendors on the beach walking right up to you asking if you wanted to buy silver sunglasses hats etc

L'un des meilleurs centres de villégiature que nous ayons fréquentés en 18 ans

Le terrain est en train d'être refait, la nourriture et les boissons étaient les meilleures.Le personnel de la station, je veux dire chaque personne à qui nous avons eu affaire ne pouvait pas en faire assez pour vous, ils étaient tous excellents.Les piscines et l'océan étaient super.Toutes les personnes de notre groupe l'ont classé 5 étoiles, bon travail de riu pour refaire la station, nous reviendrons.

One of the best resorts we have been at in18 years The grounds are being redone,food and drinks were the best.The resort staff ,i mean every person we dealt with could not do enough for you they were all excellent.Pools and ocean were great.All the people in our group rate it 5 star,great job riu on redoing the resort,we will be back.

Excellent service

J'ai séjourné la semaine du 9 février. Je recommanderais cet hôtel à toute personne souhaitant un lieu de villégiature propre et bien géré. La plage est l'une des meilleures que j'ai fréquentées, l'eau est peu profonde assez loin et le sable est blanc et doux. Il y a beaucoup de chaises longues et de nombreux palmiers qui offrent de l'ombre si vous le souhaitez. Le bar de la piscine est très amusant et les barmans travaillent dur pour s'assurer que vous passez un bon moment. La nourriture était  [... lire plus]toujours bonne, chaude et fraîche et là encore, vous pouvez voir le niveau d'attention du personnel, le personnel de service vous fait sentir comme chez vous et s'occupe de vos moindres besoins. Les chambres sont spacieuses, les lits confortables, il y a de l'eau chaude en abondance et des serviettes propres tous les jours ! C'est le plus petit des Riu de la région, mais je pense que cela ajoute à son charme et à ses touches personnelles. Nous avons marché deux fois jusqu'à Playa de Carmen pour visiter les magasins, etc. C'est une promenade facile de 30 minutes, en passant devant de belles maisons et d'autres complexes hôteliers. En plus, il y a un Starbucks juste de l'autre côté de la route !

Excellent Service Stayed the week of February 9th. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a clean, and well run resort. The beach is one of the best I have been to the water is shallow quite a way out and the sand is white and soft. Lots of lounge chairs and many Palm trees offer shade if you want it. The swim up bar was a lot of fun, the bartenders work hard to make sure you have a good time. The food was always good, hot and fresh and here again you can see the level of care the staff takes, the wait staff makes you feel right at home and take care of your every need. The rooms are spacious, the beds comfortable and there is plenty of hot water and nice clean towels everyday! This is the smallest of the Riu's in this area but I think that adds to it's charm and personal touches. We walked twice into Playa de Carmen to check out the shop etc. It is an easy 30 minute walk past some beautiful homes and other resorts. Plus added bonus there is a Starbucks right across the road!

Beau complexe. Plus petit que la plupart, mais excellent service et accès au Rio Tequila et à d'autres si l'on veut plus d'action. Très bon accès à la plage. On peut se rendre facilement à pied à Playa Del Carmen. Le buffet était excellent. Beaucoup de variété et de haute qualité.
