Tout juste correct

Le service était exceptionnel. Terrain et chambres très propres. La nourriture n'est pas à la hauteur des standards cubains. Piscine très propre et très froide. La plage est l'endroit où tout va mal... parce qu'il n'y en a pas vraiment... et les quelques plages accessibles à pied sont publiques... ce qui nous a été rappelé plusieurs fois par jour par les Cuban Public Beach Watchdogs... Nous sommes très heureux d'avoir réservé lorsque le prix était au plus bas... j'étais désolé pour ceux qui ont [... lire plus] payé le prix fort...

Just Okay Service was outstanding . Grounds and rooms very clean . Food substandard even to Cuban standards . Pool very clean and very cold . The beach is where everything goes south ..well because there really isn't one ..and the few within walking distance are public ..which we were reminded of several times a day by the Cuban Public Beach Watchdogs . Cubanair ...yikes ..never been stuffed into a plane like that ..it was terrible ..and just for good measure they kept the air temp. in the plane at 85 deg. or so the entire flight ...both there and back .. Very glad we booked when price was bottomed out ...felt sorry for those folks that paid top dollar .

Un bon endroit pour se rafraîchir de l'hiver canadien

L'hôtel le plus ancien, le plus petit et le plus accueillant de la magnifique péninsule d'Ancón. À 15 minutes en taxi de la ville historique et coloniale de Trinidad de Cuba. J'ai loué un bungalow en bord de mer (vous devriez faire de même) pendant deux semaines. Cet hôtel est calme. Il n'y a pas de loubards ni de voyous qui se promènent dans un état d'ébriété à 9 heures du matin. Il y a beaucoup de voyageurs de nuit, alors évitez le buffet du petit déjeuner jusqu'à 8 heures du matin, quand ils  [... lire plus]montent dans leurs bus. Personnel formidable, en particulier Caridad. Elle travaille dans ce restaurant depuis 40 ans. Et Lazaro, Andre et Jesus (pas ce Jesus) font les meilleurs Mojitos. Le buffet propose une bonne variété de poissons, de poulets, de porcs et d'agneaux. Le jeudi est le jour du cochon rôti à la broche.

Good place to chill from Canadian winter Oldest, smallest and friendliest hotel on the beautiful Ancon Peninsula. Just 15 minutes by taxi to historic colonial Trinidad de Cuba. Rented a seafront bungalow (you should too) for two weeks. This hotel is quiet. No lager louts and yahoos stumbling about in a drunken stupor at 9 am. Lots of overnight day trippers so avoid the breakfast buffet until after 8 am when they board their buses. Great staff especially Caridad. She has been working in the restaurant for 40 years. And Lazaro, Andre and Jesus (not that Jesus) make the best Mojitos. Buffet had good variety of fish, chicken, pork and lamb. Thursday is roast piggy on the spit day.

Trésor caché !

Nous avions un bungalow sur la plage. C'était un bijou. Très propre et confortable. La plage naturellement fermée et la piscine étaient toutes deux superbes. La nourriture était bien préparée et bien servie. Tout le personnel était amical et serviable, et nous avons été très heureux de nous faire de nouveaux amis, tant parmi le personnel que parmi les clients. Et oui, nous reviendrons certainement.

Hidden Treasure! We had a bungalow on the beach. It was a gem. Very clean & cozy. Both, the naturally enclosed beach and the pool were great. Food was well prepared, and well served. All the staff were friendly and helpful, and we were very pleased to make new friends, both among the staff and the guests. And yes, we certainly will return.
