D'excellentes vacances en famille

Dans l'ensemble, c'était une bonne chose. BON : - La nourriture était excellente et ils ont fait en sorte de cuisiner des plats sans sel ni huile pour notre bébé. - Le personnel était gentil. - La piscine était propre et bien entretenue. - Les jeux et les petites activités se déroulent tout au long de la journée, ce qui nous a permis de nous occuper et de nous amuser. - J'ai adoré les mini-spectacles réalisés par les enfants. Nous n'avons pas pu voir les spectacles nocturnes jusqu'à la fin à ca [... lire plus]use de notre bébé, mais d'après ce que j'ai observé, je pense qu'ils étaient corrects. - La chambre était bien nettoyée. - nous aurions aimé avoir plus de serviettes car nous avions un bébé. - Les parties communes sont propres et bien entretenues. MAUVAIS : - La plage n'était pas très claire car il y avait beaucoup d'algues et de coraux. Mais grâce à cela, nous avons pu voir quelques poissons ! - La piscine était froide. - Nous avions une chambre face à la piscine et nous l'aimions bien, mais elle peut être bruyante s'il se passe quelque chose à la piscine. Deux nuits, il y avait un mariage et la musique était TELLEMENT forte. Je pense que beaucoup de gens ont eu des problèmes avec ça aussi. - Notre réfrigérateur dans la chambre ne fonctionnait pas correctement, nous l'avons fait remplacer et la même chose s'est reproduite. J'ai dû appeler 5 fois avant que quelqu'un ne vienne le réparer. C'était frustrant. - Le dîner de spécialité était difficile à obtenir.

Great Family Vacation It was good overall. GOOD: - Food was awesome and they accommodated and cooked food without salt or oil for our baby. - Staffs were kind. - Pool was clean and well kept. - The games and small activities are going on throughout the day and that kept us busy and fun. - I loved the mini shows done by kids. We didn't get to see the night shows till the end because of our baby, but from what I have observed, I think they were okay. - The room was well cleaned. - wished that we had more towels because we had a baby. - Common areas are clean and well kept. BAD: - Beach was not very clear because they had a lot of seaweed and corals. But because of that, we were able to see some fish! - Swimming pool was cold. - We had a room facing poolside and we liked it, but it can get loud if something is going on at the pool. Two nights when we were there, there was a wedding and the music was SOOO loud. I think many people had issued with it too. - Our in-room fridge was not working properly, we had it replaced and the same thing happened again. I had to call 5 times before someone come by to fix it. That was frustrating. - Specialty dinner was hard to get the spot.

Grand centre de villégiature

Tout dans ce complexe est agréable. Très propre. Ce qui fait la force de ce complexe, c'est l'amabilité de son personnel. Ils se souviennent de leurs clients réguliers. Il y a toujours assez de chaises sur la plage. Les animateurs essaient de faire participer les gens aux jeux. Merci à Mari et Francisco à la réception. La nourriture est toujours excellente. Merci à Robert, notre serveur au buffet. Le personnel du bar est extraordinaire car il connaît tous les clients et sait ce qu'ils boivent dè [... lire plus]s la première commande après la première commande. Les divertissements nocturnes sont également très bons, en particulier la production de The Circle of Life. C'était notre quatrième visite et nous reviendrons dans un avenir proche.

Great resort Everything about this resort is pleasant. Very clean . What makes the resort are all the friendly staff. They remember their repeat customers. The beach always has enough chairs. The entertainment staff try a get people to participate in the games. Thank you to Mari and Francisco at the reception desk. The food is always excellent. Thank you to Robert our waiter in the buffet. The bar staff are amazing as they get to know all their customers and know what they drink after the first order. The nightly entertainment is very good also, especially the production of The Circle of Life. This was our 4th visit and we will be returning in the near future.

Très beau centre de villégiature

Ce complexe est très agréable et le personnel est excellent. Mon seul reproche est que les locaux étaient présents sur le site le week-end. Ils se tenaient à l'écart et ne posaient pas de problème, mais cela rendait la station beaucoup plus animée, en particulier à la piscine et dans les restaurants. La plage est fantastique avec beaucoup d'arbres pour ceux qui aiment un peu d'ombre. Il y a beaucoup de chaises à la grande piscine et à la plage. La nourriture est excellente ! Il y a beaucoup de v [... lire plus]ariété et tout est chaud et frais. Les spectacles sont excellents, mais ils sont assez bruyants la nuit. Nous étions dans le bâtiment 4 qui a une belle vue mais qui est juste à côté de la scène, donc si vous êtes quelqu'un qui se couche tôt, vous voudrez peut-être un bâtiment plus éloigné de la scène. Demandez également une chambre au deuxième ou au troisième étage ! Il n'y a pas d'ascenseur mais notre chambre était au rez-de-chaussée et était très, très humide. Les chambres sont un peu vieillottes - pas de qualité 4.5 mais propres. Nous avons payé 35 $ US pour 7 jours de WiFi illimité qui fonctionnait partout dans l'hôtel, mais il y avait des options moins chères. Il y a un marché à l'extérieur du complexe, un peu plus loin sur la plage, où les gens peuvent essayer de vous inciter à aller. Les gens y sont généralement insistants et veulent que vous entriez dans leur magasin. Je ne m'y rendrais probablement pas seule. Dans l'ensemble, je recommanderais ce complexe. Il est très joli avec ses grands palmiers, et il semble sûr et propre. Je ne comprends pas pourquoi les gens du coin vont dans cette station et pas dans les autres stations de la région.

Very nice resort This resort is quite nice and the staff are excellent. My only complaint was that the locals were on the resort on the weekend. They kept to themselves and really weren't a problem, it just made the resort much busier - especially at the pool and restaurants. The beach is fantastic with plenty of trees for those who like a bit of shade. Lots of chairs at the large pool and at the beach. The food is excellent! Plenty of variety and everything is hot and fresh. The shows are great however they are quite loud at night. We were in building 4 which has a nice view but is right beside the stage, so if you are someone who goes to bed early, you may want a building further away from the stage. Also, ask for a room on the second or third floor! There are no elevators but our room was on the ground level and was very, very damp The rooms are a bit dated - not 4.5 quality but clean. We paid $35 US for 7 days unlimited WiFi which worked everywhere on the resort, but they did have cheaper options available. There is a market off of the resort just down the beach a little that people may try to get you to go to. The people there are typically pushy, wanting you to come into their shop. I probably wouldn't go there alone. Overall, I would recommend this resort. It's very pretty with the tall palms, and it feels safe and clean. I just don't understand why locals are on this resort but not other resorts in the area.

Du plaisir, de la bonne cuisine et du bon vin

Il n'y a que des bonnes choses à dire....nous avons eu beaucoup de chance avec un ciel bleu et de bonnes températures. j'ai été surpris par la qualité des bons vins espagnols et des marques d'alcool de première qualité....généralement ils sont édulcorés, ce qui n'est pas du tout le cas. La nourriture était bien variée et goûteuse. La plage, la piscine, le personnel et les Dominicains étaient tous chaleureux et amicaux. Vraiment un excellent séjour, surtout à un prix fantastique.

Fun, great food and wine Only good things to say....we were very lucky with blue skies and great temperatures. l was surprised at the quality of good Spanish wine and premium brands alcohol....generally they are watered down, and not the case at all. Food was of well variety and taste. Beach, pool, staff and the Dominican people were all warm and friendly. Truly a great stay, especially with the fantastic price.

Le centre de villégiature était très bien entretenu et la nourriture était excellente ! Le personnel était très sympathique et très accueillant. Il y avait toujours des activités récréatives à faire si vous restiez là pour la journée. Les spectacles nocturnes étaient également très divertissants.

Great resort and great people The resort was very well taken care of and food was great!! It had very friendly staff who were very welcoming. There was always recreational activities to do if you were to stay there for the day. The shows at night were always very entertaining as well.

Un excellent rapport qualité-prix !

D'une manière générale, nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour dans cette propriété. Les chambres et le terrain étaient très bien entretenus et la grande piscine était impeccable. Le buffet était acceptable, mais il est devenu un peu répétitif au fil des sept jours. Nous avons apprécié le steakhouse brésilien deux soirs, et il était exceptionnel. Le personnel de l'hôtel, en particulier le personnel chargé des activités et des divertissements, était très aimable et arrangeant. Great Value! Generally speaking, we really enjoyed our time at this property. The rooms and grounds were maintained very well, and the large pool was immaculate. While the buffet food was acceptable, it did become a bit repetitive over the 7 days. We enjoyed the Brazilian steakhouse two nights, and it was exceptional. The resort staff - especially the activity/entertainment staff - were very freindly and accommodating. They did a great job of organizing activities and keeping folks that wanted to participate, busy. Well done!

Merveilleux séjour

Nous avons séjourné dans ce complexe avec un groupe de personnes. J'étais nerveuse car j'avais entendu dire que la plage n'était pas aussi belle que celle de Punta Cana. Nous avons trouvé la plage absolument magnifique et nous n'avons pratiquement pas vu d'algues. Le seul inconvénient est d'être constamment harcelé pour visiter le marché ou payer des excursions. A part cela, nous avons adoré notre chambre qui donnait sur la montagne, l'océan et la piscine. Les chambres étaient propres et grandes [... lire plus] et répondaient à nos besoins et elles étaient toujours nettoyées à temps tous les jours. Nous avons trouvé que la nourriture dans ce complexe était excellente. L'omelette au blanc d'œuf servie tous les matins était la meilleure et Robert veillait toujours à ce que nos verres soient remplis d'eau. Au déjeuner, nous choisissions le poisson et ils le cuisinaient. C'était toujours délicieux et il y avait beaucoup de légumes et de salades au choix. Nous avons toujours déjeuné au bar de la piscine, c'était pratique et délicieux. On ne peut pas en dire assez sur le service et la façon dont l'équipe d'animation fait jouer tout le monde à des jeux tels que la pétanque, les fers à cheval et le volley-ball. Il y a beaucoup à faire si vous aimez ce genre de choses. Ils travaillent dur pour vous rendre heureux. La seule chose qui pourrait être améliorée, c'est qu'ils se rendent sur la plage le matin pour demander aux gens s'ils sont intéressés par ces jeux. Nous avons constaté qu'ils demandaient surtout aux gens qui étaient à la piscine. Les cartes étaient géniales et la nourriture délicieuse. Ils ont travaillé sans relâche pour s'assurer que tout le monde reçoive son repas à temps et ont toujours servi avec le sourire. C'est la première fois que j'attends avec impatience les spectacles nocturnes. Ils ont toujours fait du bon travail. M. iberostar était hilarant et leurs spectacles de danse spectaculaires. Nous avons fait l'excursion en téléphérique, que nous recommandons vivement. Nous voulions en faire d'autres mais nous n'étions là que pour cinq nuits. Le soir d'Halloween, ils ont décoré la discothèque et ont créé un couloir hanté. Nous avons été très impressionnés par la qualité de la décoration. Ils ont fait une interprétation de thriller pour tout le monde, ce qui était vraiment bien. Nous nous sommes déguisés, comme beaucoup d'autres personnes. C'était une très bonne soirée pour les enfants et les adultes. Dans l'ensemble, nous avons adoré cet endroit, nous avons rencontré une tonne de personnes d'Angleterre et des États-Unis et nous avons noué de grandes amitiés avec eux. Les employés de l'hôtel nous ont toujours fait sentir les bienvenus. J'ai été choquée de lire certaines des dernières critiques, car ce n'est pas du tout ce que nous avons vécu. Notre groupe a passé un excellent moment et je recommanderais de venir ici à tout moment.

Wonderful stay We stayed at this resort with a group of people. I was nervous as I had heard the beach wasn't as nice as Punta Cana. We found the beach was absolutely beautiful and hardly saw any seaweed. The only down side is being constantly harassed to visit their market or to pay for excursions. Other than that we loved our room as we had a view of the mountain and the ocean and the pool. Rooms were clean and large and met our needs and we're always cleaned on time everyday. We found the food at this resort was excellent. Having an egg white omelette every morning was the best and Robert always made sure our glasses were filled with water. At lunch we would pick the fish and they would cook it. Always delicious and plenty of vegetables and salads to choose from as well. We always had lunch out by the pool bar so it was convenient and delicious. Can't say enough about the service and the way the animation team gets everyone playing games such as bocce ball and horseshoes and volleyball. Tons to do if you like that kind of thing. They sure work hard to keep you happy. Only thing I found that could be improved is for them to come out to the beach in the morning as well to ask if people are interested in these games. We found they mostly asked people that were at the pool. A la cartes were awesome and food delicious. They worked tirelessly to ensure everyone got their food on time and always service with a smile. This was the first time that I ever looked forward to the nightly shows. They always did a great job. Mr iberostar was hilarious and their dance shows spectacular. We did the cable car ride excursion, would highly recommend that. We wanted to do others but were only there five nights. On Halloween night they decorated the disco and had a haunted hallway. We were so impressed at how well this was done. They did a rendition of thriller for everyone which was really good. We dressed up as well as did lots of people. Was a great night for kids and adults alike. All in all we loved this place, met a ton of people from England and the states and made some great friendships with them. The people at the hotel always made us feel welcome. I was shocked to read some of the latest reviews as this was not our experience at all. Our group had a great time and would recommend to come here anytime.

Superbe séjour en RD !

Je n'étais jamais allé en RD, ma femme y était allée il y a environ 20 ans, et à d'autres occasions. Dans l'ensemble, ce fut une belle semaine au soleil, et oui, il faisait beau et chaud. J'avais entendu dire que sortir de la station n'était pas une bonne idée pour des raisons de sécurité, mais comme je suis un coureur, je l'ai fait tous les jours et je n'ai trouvé que des habitants sympathiques et j'ai pu voir la merveilleuse campagne. Quant à la station elle-même, elle était merveilleuse et le [... lire plus] personnel m'a aidée à tous points de vue. J'ai également passé chaque jour à utiliser la salle de sport/spa de l'hôtel. Comme c'était en partie à l'air libre, c'était comme faire de l'exercice dans un hammam, mais c'était tout de même agréable, avec un bon équipement. La plage et la piscine étaient excellentes, avec un personnel toujours disponible pour aider et/ou organiser des jeux amusants pour lesquels les gagnants recevaient une médaille, etc. tous les soirs avant les spectacles, qui étaient également de première classe et très bien organisés tous les jours ! Un jour avant notre départ, un grand groupe est arrivé pour ce qui semblait être une fête de mariage, ils étaient jeunes et ont installé un boombox au bord de la piscine et ont diffusé de la musique hip hop pour que "tout le monde en profite", j'ai pensé que le personnel aurait pu faire un effort pour les ralentir car c'était très fort et cela a empiété sur la belle musique de l'île diffusée sur le système de l'hôtel, mais cela mis à part, c'était un petit problème et à part cela, c'est un excellent complexe où nous retournerions n'importe quand avec des amis !

Great time in DR! I had never been to DR, my wife had been there apx 20 years ago, and at different done. Overall, this was a lovely week in the sun, and yes it was sunny, and hot as well. I had heard that going off the resort was not a good idea for safety reasons, but being a runner I did so every day and found nothing but friendly locals and I got to see the wonderful countryside. As for the resort itself, it was wonderful and the staff helpful in every way. I spent each day as well using the resort gym/spa. As it was partly open air, it was like working out in a steam room!, but it was enjoyable all the same, with good equipment. The beach and pool areas were excellent, with staff always on hand to help and/or set up fun games in which the winners were given a medal etc every night before the evening shows, which were also first class and well everyday! One day before we left, a large group came in for what appeared to be a wedding party, they were young and set up a boombox pool side and blasted hip hop music for "all to enjoy", I thought the staff could have made an effort to tone them down as it was very loud and took away from the nice island music playing on the hotel system, but that aside, it was a small issue and otherwise a great resort we would go back to any time with friends!

Belle station !

Tous les terrains sont très bien entretenus, toutes les zones principales et les toilettes sont toujours propres. La nourriture était très bonne et le personnel très serviable. Les animations nocturnes étaient agréables, l'éclairage et le son étaient également bons.

Beautiful resort!! All of the grounds are very well cared for, all of the main areas, and washrooms were always clean. The food was very good and the staff very helpful. The entertainment at night was enjoyable, the lighting and sound were good as well.

Station 5 étoiles ? Je ne crois pas...

Ce complexe m'a été recommandé par une de mes amies qui m'a affirmé que c'était le meilleur endroit où elle ait jamais été. Pour ma part, je n'ai pas été impressionné du tout. La première impression est que l'endroit est agréable et qu'il y a des flamants roses dans le hall, ce qui est une bonne chose. Pour un complexe 5 étoiles, c'était insuffisant... si on le compare à un complexe 5 étoiles à Punta Cana. Cependant, en mettant de côté la comparaison entre les deux sites, voici les points positi [... lire plus]fs et négatifs de ce complexe, d'après mon expérience. Bon : - les spectacles nocturnes étaient divertissants et excellents. - leçons d'initiation à la plongée sous-marine Mauvais : - la nourriture était décente, mais le plus souvent trop salée ou trop sucrée, manque d'options végétariennes au buffet et dans les restaurants - l'air conditionné est tombé en panne dans notre chambre une nuit - la douche n'avait plus d'eau pendant que nous nous douchions - la piscine était petite et sale (insectes morts, brindilles et feuilles) - le service médical était douteux, non professionnel et non adapté aux touristes - le personnel était à moitié professionnel et à moitié désagréable - le bracelet qui nous a été offert n'a pas duré toute la semaine, l'encre a déteint sur nous (il a fallu une éternité pour la laver) et heureusement pas sur nos vêtements En conclusion, je ne recommanderais pas ce complexe à mes amis et à ma famille. Peut-être était-ce la malchance ou le manque de facteur "wow". Ce n'est que la deuxième fois que je séjourne en République dominicaine et, après cette expérience, il est probable que je ne retournerai pas dans ce centre de villégiature ou dans ce pays.

5 star resort? I don't think so... This resort was recommended to me by a friends of mine who claimed that it was the best place she had ever been at. I on the other hand was not impressed at all. On first impression, the location was nice, there were flamingos in the lobby area which was a nice touch. For a 5 star resort, it was lacking... if you compare it to a 5 star resort in Punta Cana. However putting aside comparing the two locations, these were some positives and negatives about this resort from my experience. Good: - nightly shows were entertaining and excellent performances. - introduction to scuba diving lessons Bad: - food was decent, but mostly too salty or too sweet, lack of veggie options at the buffet and restaurants - a/c broke down in our room one night - shower ran out of water while showering - pool was small and dirty (dead bugs, twigs and leaves) - medical health was questionable, unprofessional, and not tourist friendly - staff were half and half on being professional and not very pleasant - the bracelet given to us did not last the week stay, the ink rubbed off on us (took forever to wash off) and thankfully not our clothes In conclusion, I would not recommend this resort to my friends and family. Maybe it was the bad luck or the lack of "wow" factor. This is only my second time being in Dominican Rupublic, and after this experience I will likely to not return to this resort or country.

Grand centre de villégiature

C'est un excellent complexe hôtelier, qui en vaut la peine. La nourriture était excellente, la chambre était superbe avec vue sur l'océan, le personnel est formidable avec les enfants, tout était extraordinaire. J'y retournerai certainement, c'est un endroit très recommandé

Great resort This is a great resort, well worth the money. Food was great, room was great with ocean view, staff is great with the kids, everything was amazing . I would go back there for sure, highly recommended resort

L'hôtel était très propre. Le terrain était très bien entretenu. La nourriture était très bonne, il y avait beaucoup de variétés différentes à choisir. Les chambres étaient propres. Le personnel d'animation était excellent. Le bar extérieur aurait été mieux avec des tabourets autour, afin de mieux interagir avec les gens. Le bar de la piscine n'était certainement pas le meilleur où j'ai été, il y a donc certainement des améliorations à apporter. Very nice resort Thought the hotel was very clean. Grounds were extremely well kept. Food was very good, lots of different variety's to choose from. Rooms were clean. Entertainment staff were excellent. Outside bar area, would have been better with stools around it, so as to interact better with people. The swim up bar, certainly wasn't the best I have been to, so definitely room for improvement. The location and size of the property was perfect.

Merveilleuse escapade

Nous avons visité en février 2014 pour une semaine de plaisir au soleil réservée aux adultes. Le terrain est saisissant, et cela se voit dès l'arrivée. Le personnel s'occupe constamment des zones publiques, mais il est discret et toujours agréable. Notre chambre était un peu décevante. Elle dégageait une odeur d'humidité, de renfermé et de moisi et, bien qu'elle soit propre, elle donnait sur le quai de chargement du complexe voisin, où les camions vont et viennent constamment, ce qui fait que le [... lire plus] bruit n'est pas très agréable. Comme nous sommes Canadiens, et très polis de surcroît, nous étions enclins à rester là, mais nous avons finalement décidé que, puisque nous étions ici pour passer les meilleures vacances possibles, nous allions demander - juste pour voir. Le personnel de la réception a été merveilleux et nous a invités à revenir le dimanche (nous sommes arrivés le jeudi) pour faire un changement. Nous avons passé la dernière moitié de la journée à regarder l'océan à travers les palmiers - cela vaut donc parfois la peine de demander ! La nourriture était merveilleuse et abondante. Nous avons mangé à toutes les cartes sur place, et toutes étaient bonnes, mais aucune ne s'est démarquée. Le buffet était excellent et très varié, et il y avait souvent quelque chose d'extra, donc nous aurions volontiers mangé là tous les soirs. Le bar du hall était un endroit agréable pour se détendre le soir, et pour danser au son du groupe si l'envie nous en prenait. Les magasins sur place étaient pratiques pour acheter des souvenirs de dernière minute, mais une promenade le long de la plage permet également d'accéder à de nombreux marchés où l'on peut acheter toutes sortes d'objets d'artisanat dominicain. Encore une fois, étant canadiens, et donc allergiques au marchandage, nous nous sommes probablement fait avoir, mais peu importe. Notre excursion préférée a été de loin celle des chutes. Nous aurions aimé qu'elle soit plus longue ! Nous avons également visité le téléférique qui, si je me souviens bien, était rattaché à une visite de la ville, ce qui a rendu la journée un peu longue, mais globalement agréable. Hormis le fait que nous essayons généralement de ne pas revenir sur nos pas, nous retournerions volontiers à l'iberostar. Nous avons passé le moment de détente que nous recherchions et nous sommes rentrés chez nous reposés, bronzés et heureux d'avoir vécu cette expérience.

Wonderful getaway We visited in february of 2014 for an adults only week of fun in the sun. The grounds are striking, and this is obvious on arrival. Staff are constantly tending to public areas, but are inconspicuous and always pleasant. Our room was a little disappointing. It had a damp, musty, closed up smell, and although it was clean, it also faced the loading doc of the neighbouring resort where trucks come and go constantly, so there is a good deal of not so good noise. Since we are Canadian, and extra polite to boot, we were inclined to stick it out, but decided, ultimately, that since we were here to have the best possible vacation, we would ask-just to see. Front desc staff were wonderful and invited us to come back on Sunday (we arrived thursday) to make a switch. We spent the last half looking at the ocean through palm trees-so sometimes it pays to ask! The food was wonderful, and plentiful. We ate at all a la cartes on site, and all were good, but none a standout. The buffet was excellent, and quite varied, and there was often something extra going on, so we would happily have eaten there every night. The lobby bar was a lovely place to relax at night, and to dance to the band if the mood strikes. On site stores were handy for picking up last minute souvenirs, but a walk down the beach also takes you to multiple markets where all manner of dominican craft can be purchased. Again, being canadian, and thus allergic to bargaining, we probably got taken for a ride, but whatever. Our favourite excursion by far was to the falls. We wish it had been longer! We also visited the teleferico which, if i remember rightly, was attached to a tour of the city, making for a bit of a long, but overall enjoyable day. Except for the fact that we generally try not to retrace our steps, we would gladly go back to the iberostar. We had just the unwinding time we were after, and came home rested, tanned, and happy for the experience.

Terrific Resort !!!

Une chambre fantastique, une nourriture excellente, une belle plage propre avec beaucoup d'arbres d'ombrage et un bar de plage incroyable ! Seul bémol, tout l'extérieur du bâtiment menant aux chambres est en céramique et est extrêmement glissant lorsqu'il est mouillé, ce qui est plus souvent le cas qu'on ne le pense....

Terrific Resort!! Fantastic room, great food, beautiful clean beach with lot's of shade trees and an amazing beach bar!! Only downside was the entire outside of the building leading to rooms is ceramic tile that is extremely slippery when wet, which is more often than not....

L'hôtel était juste à la bonne taille, ni trop grand, ni trop petit, la chambre était spacieuse et proche de la piscine, juste là où nous voulions, pas trop impressionnés par la vue des portes coulissantes qui donnaient sur le complexe voisin. La nourriture était bonne, les gens étaient sympathiques et le service était excellent. Nous ne nous sommes pas aventurés en dehors de l'hôtel car nous aimons nous détendre autour de la piscine, boire et manger de bons plats. Il y avait de la nourriture à  [... lire plus]tout moment.

Very nice resort The hotel was just the right size not overly big and not too small,the room was spacious and close to the pool just where we wanted not to impressed with the view out the sliding doors we faced the neighboring resort. The food was good the people were friendly and the service was excellent. We did not venture off the resort because we just like to relax around the pool and drink and eat good food. There was food offered at all times.

C'était le premier voyage de ma famille dans un hôtel tout compris et nous n'aurions pas pu être plus satisfaits de l'hôtel. Les chambres étaient très propres et nous avons apprécié la nourriture. Nous n'avons pas passé beaucoup de temps dans la chambre et le luxe de la chambre n'est pas très important pour nous tant qu'il y a tout ce dont nous avons besoin et qu'elle est propre. Les chambres disposaient d'un grand espace de rangement, d'un coffre-fort, d'une télévision, de boissons, de beaucoup [... lire plus] d'espace pour dormir et étaient très propres. Le buffet était excellent et différent chaque soir. Nous sommes allés dans deux restaurants à la carte, le mexicain et le brésilien. Je n'ai pas trop apprécié mon repas au restaurant mexicain, mais il n'était pas terrible. Ce qui est étrange, c'est que le buffet avait un thème mexicain le soir suivant et que les mêmes types de plats étaient très bons. Le brésilien était incroyable. J'ai vraiment apprécié la disposition du complexe. Tout était à une courte distance de marche et vous pouviez passer rapidement de la piscine à la plage toute la journée. La piscine était fantastique. Idéale pour les enfants. Je ne peux pas dire assez de bien du personnel. Du buffet aux barmen en passant par les artistes. Ils ont vraiment fait en sorte que vous vous sentiez comme un membre de la famille. Le personnel de Star a assuré le divertissement toute la journée et toute la nuit dans l'ensemble du complexe. Ils ont veillé à ce que les enfants et les adultes soient toujours occupés. Je n'ai que des choses positives à dire sur cet hôtel !

Great Stay!!! This was my Family's first trip to an all inclusive and we could not have been happier with the resort. The rooms were very clean and we enjoyed the food. We didnt spend much time in the room and the room luxuries are not very important to us as long as they have all we need and are clean. The rooms had great storage, a safe, TV, beverages, lots of sleep space and were very clean. The buffet food was great and different every night. We went to two A La Carte restaurants, the Mexican and the Brazilian. I did not overly enjoy my meal at the mexican but it wasn't terrible. The strange part was the Buffet had a mexican theme the next night and the same types of food at the buffet were really good. The brazilian was amazing. I really enjoyed the layout of the resort. Everything was a very short walk away and you could transfer quickly between the pool and the beach all day. The pool was amazing. Great for kids. I cannot say enough great things about the staff. From the buffet and bartenders through to the Star Performers. They truly made you fell like a part of the family. The Star staff kept the entertainment going all day and all night all over the resort. They made sure the kids and adults were always engaged. I have nothing but positives to say about this hotel!!!

Un rapport qualité-prix exceptionnel

Superbe animation (Joselito) et personnel du bar (Kennedy & Tony) ! La plage est bonne, les chambres sont correctes mais un peu désuètes, la nourriture est assez bonne et les animations nocturnes. Il y a un bar de danse à côté si vous cherchez un endroit proche. Nous avons hâte de revenir ! Excellent rapport qualité-prix !

Amazing value Great entertainment (Joselito) and bar staff (Kennedy & Tony)! Beach is good, rooms are ok but a little dated, food is pretty good and nightly entertainment. There is a dance bar next door if you're looking for somewhere close. Look forward to visiting again! Excellent value!

S'amuser au soleil !

Les hôtels Iberostar ne déçoivent jamais : ils sont très propres, bien aménagés et offrent ce qu'il y a de mieux. Les balcons dans les chambres, les cafetières et les réfrigérateurs des mini-bars approvisionnés quotidiennement sont une touche agréable. Dans l'ensemble, le personnel s'est surpassé pour répondre à tous nos besoins. L'hôtel est également proche de la ville, ce qui permet d'explorer facilement la culture dominicaine. Un séjour idéal pour les familles et les couples.

Fun in the Sun! Iberostar resorts never disappoint in that they are very clean, well appointed and offer the best of everything possible. The on-room balconies, coffeemakers and daily stocked mini-bar fridges are a nice touch. Overall the staff went above and beyond to fill any need that we may have had. This resort is also close to the city so that you can easily explore Dominican culture. A great get away for families and couples.

Un grand centre inattendu

Nous voyageons tous les hivers dans des endroits chauds Nous avons voyagé avec 3 autres couples qui n'avaient qu'une expérience limitée des hôtels tout compris mais qui possédaient des time share dans plusieurs endroits aux Etats-Unis, ils se sont tous extasiés sur l'emplacement, les chambres, la nourriture, les divertissements, tout était parfait et le meilleur rapport qualité/prix. Nous réservons des vacances dans les hôtels Iberostar en Jamaïque en novembre pour un mariage et nous reviendrons [... lire plus] dans cet hôtel en février.

Unexpected great resort We travel every winter to warm places, we have been to Puerto Plata in the past in 6 different hotels and expected a high level of comfort as this is the highest rated hotel in the area.We traveled with 3 other couples who had limited experience with all inclusives but own time shares in several US places, they all raved about the location, rooms, food, entertainment, everything was perfect and the best value for the money. We are booking holidays at Iberostar Hotels in Jamaica in November for a wedding and back at this hotel in February.

Excellent séjour

Nous avons séjourné à l'Iberostar Costa Dorada pendant 11 jours au début du mois de mai. Ce fut un très bon séjour, le personnel est excellent dans ce complexe. L'hôtel est bien entretenu, la nourriture était bonne. Je recommanderais cet hôtel pour le prix, vous ne pouvez pas le battre.

Great stay We stayed at the Iberostar Costa Dorada for 11 days in the beginning of may. It was a very nice stay, the staff are excellent at this resort. The resort is well taking care of, the food was good.I would recommend this resort for price you can't beat it.
