Royalton Cayo Santa Maria: Superbe station, personnel et nourriture !

Ma femme et moi avons passé un séjour fantastique dans ce complexe pour notre lune de miel. Nous y avons passé 11 nuits. J'étais surtout préoccupé par la qualité de la nourriture, car je n'ai jamais eu beaucoup de succès à Cuba. Eh bien, la nourriture était différente chaque soir, et tous les plats étaient délicieux ! Tout le personnel était serviable et amical. Nos toilettes sont tombées en panne pendant environ 6 jours, mais le technicien et le majordome ont rapidement apporté leur aide. La [... lire plus] plage était incroyable - le sable sans pareil. La seule chose que je pourrais dire, c'est d'apporter votre propre oreiller.

Great resort, Staff, AND FOOD! My Wife and I had a fantastic time at the resort for our Honeymoon. We were there for 11 nights. I was mainly concerned about food quality, as typically I haven't had great success in Cuba. Well, the food was different every evening, and all quite delicious! Entire staff was helpful and friendly. Our toilet was broken off and on for about 6 days, but the technician and butler were quick to provide assistance. Beach was amazing - sand unparalleled. Only thing I could say is bring your own pillow.

Playa Cayo Santa Maria: Belle escapade

Nous avons séjourné au Playa Cayo Santa maria la semaine du 9 au 16 octobre. Nous étions déjà allés deux fois à Cuba, à Veredero. Notre première impression de l'hôtel était bonne. La chambre était propre et spacieuse. La plage est magnifique quand on dépasse la partie rocheuse. Je leur recommanderais d'essayer d'enlever une partie des rochers. Je recommanderais également de mettre des meubles de patio sur les balcons. Nous étions en basse saison, je n'attendais donc pas grand chose de la nourrit [... lire plus]ure. La nourriture dans ce complexe n'était pas homogène. La pizza n'avait jamais le même goût... le snack bar était notre endroit préféré pour manger rapidement. De plus, le beach grill à l'heure du déjeuner proposait des hamburgers fantastiques. Je recommanderais cet hôtel à d'autres, mais je ne pense pas que nous y retournerions. Nous aimons toujours essayer un nouveau centre de villégiature. Le transfert d'une heure et demie pour se rendre à l'hôtel ne m'a pas dérangé, mais lorsque nous sommes partis le 16, j'aurais préféré que notre voyage ne soit pas plus long.

Nice getaway We stayed at the Playa Cayo Santa maria the week of October 9-16th. We have been to Cuba 2 times before to Veredero. Our first impression of the resort was good. The room was clean and spacious. The beach is beautiful when you get past the rocky part. I would recommend them try to remove some of the rock. I also would recommend they put patio furniture on the balconies. We were there on off season so I wasn't expecting a lot from the food to begin with. The food at this resort was not consistent. The pizza never tasted the same...the snack bar was our favorite place to grab fast food. Also the beach grill at lunch time had fantastic burgers. I would recommend this hotel to other for myself I don't think we would return. We always like trying a new resort. I didn't mind the 1.5 hour transfer on the way to the hotel but when we left on the 16th I wish we didn't have the added time to our travel.

Très bon séjour, la chambre était propre et rafraîchie tous les jours. Les piscines sont superbes, le personnel très sympathique. Très reposant même avec des enfants dans le complexe, il y avait tellement d'endroits pour s'asseoir tranquillement. Bonne affaire pour le prix.

Very nice stay, room was clean and refreshed everyday. Pools are great, staff very friendly. Very restfull even with kids in the complex there was so many places to sit quietly. Good deal for the price.

Playa Cayo Santa Maria: Excellent centre de villégiature

Nous sommes allés dans la région de Cayo Santa Maria trois fois maintenant, avec un hôtel différent à chaque fois. C'est l'un de ceux que nous reviendrons certainement visiter. Le terrain était très bien entretenu et luxuriant. La nourriture était un cran au-dessus des autres hôtels où nous avons séjourné auparavant. Les mêmes plats chaque jour, mais il y en avait tellement qu'il y avait beaucoup de variations. Pâtes un jour, sauté le lendemain, poisson le surlendemain, anglais le surlend [... lire plus]emain. À moins que vous ne mangiez un peu de tout chaque jour, il n'y a pas lieu de dire que c'était la même chose tous les jours. Je ne pensais pas que j'aimerais la plage rocheuse surélevée, mais elle était très rustique et offrait une vue magnifique sur l'océan. Beaucoup d'ombre si vous en avez besoin et beaucoup de chaises longues. Les piscines étaient grandes, propres et, là encore, très ombragées. La piscine de la fête avait de très belles chaises longues, très confortables. J'ai pris deux repas à la carte, tous deux excellents. Sur le front de mer, le personnel s'affairait en permanence pour offrir des boissons à tout le monde. Le personnel était très attentif et amical, ne cherchant pas à recevoir un pourboire à chaque fois qu'il vous rendait service. Dans l'ensemble, des vacances formidables que je recommanderais à d'autres. Les divertissements nocturnes n'étaient généralement pas bons, mais un groupe jouait un soir de la musique des années 70 et a fait vibrer l'endroit. Tout le monde a apprécié et applaudi chaque chanson. ma famille de 8 personnes a passé un excellent moment !

Excellent Resort Have been to the Cayo Santa Maria area 3 times now, different hotel each time. This is one we would all definitely make a return visit. The grounds were very well kept and lush. The food was a notch above the other hotels we stayed at before. Same items each day, but so many there was lots of variation. Pasta one day, stir fry the next, fish the next. english the next. Unless you eat some of everything each day, there was no need to say it was all the same every day. Didn't think I would like the rocky elevated beach area, but it was very rustic and offered great views of the ocean. Lots of shade if you need it, and plenty of loungers. The pools were large, clean and again lots of shade. Party pool had very nice loungers, very comfortable. Had 2 a-la carte meals and both wer excellent. Down at the beachfront, staff were bustling around all the time getting drinks for everybody. Staff were very attentive and friendly, not looking to be tipped each and every time the gave service to you. All in all a great holiday and one I would recommend to others. Entertainment in the night time was generally not good, however, they had a band one night playing 70's music and they rocked the place. Everyone enjoyed and cheered for each and every song. my family of 8 people all had a great time!!

Melia Las Dunas: Le meilleur centre de villégiature qui soit.

J'ai passé d'excellentes vacances ici. Le niveau de ce complexe est admirable et l'attention portée aux détails contribue au confort et à l'agrément. Le personnel est chaleureux et amical et tous semblent prêts à faire un effort supplémentaire. Les terrains sont vastes et parfaitement entretenus. La nourriture est bonne, en particulier dans les restaurants à la carte. Plutôt que d'empiler votre assiette au buffet, décidez à l'avance de ce que vous voulez manger. Il y a de fortes chances que vous [... lire plus] trouviez votre bonheur parmi la sélection de restaurants disponibles. J'ai particulièrement apprécié la sélection de poissons et de fruits de mer frais. Beaucoup d'invités du monde entier. Beaucoup de familles nombreuses, mais le bruit a rarement été un problème. La plage est également bien desservie par le complexe, mais l'élévation du niveau de l'océan fait des ravages sur cette magnifique plage.

Best resort ever. Had an excellent vacation here. The standard of this resort is admirable and a close attention to detail makes for comfort and enjoyment. The staff are warm and friendly and all seem willing to go the extra mile. The grounds are extensive and perfectly maintained. The food is good especially the a la carte restaurants. Rather than pile your plate high at the buffet decide ahead of time what you want to eat. The chances are you will find it available from the selection of eateries available. I especially enjoyed the fresh fish and seafood selection. Lots of guests from all over the world. A lot of large family groups but rarely was noise an issue. The beach is also well serviced by the resort but the rising level of the ocean is taking its toll on the gorgeous beach.

J'étais très sceptique à l'idée de voyager à Cuba après avoir entendu de nombreuses histoires sur la nourriture fade et ennuyeuse, sur le fait de tomber malade à cause de la nourriture, sur le mauvais service et sur les chambres sales. Je suis heureuse de dire que ce n'était pas le cas à l'hôtel Playa Cayo. J'ai fait beaucoup de recherches avant de réserver un hôtel, et la plupart des commentaires sur cet hôtel étaient excellents. Notre chambre était très propre tous les jours, tout fonction [... lire plus]nait correctement bien que la pression de l'eau dans la douche n'était pas la meilleure. Aucun insecte ou lézard n'a été trouvé dans la chambre, ce qui est une bonne chose étant donné que nous avions une chambre au premier étage. De nombreux chats errants se promènent dans l'hôtel, mais cela ne m'a pas dérangé, la plupart d'entre eux étaient très amicaux. La nourriture n'était pas très bonne au buffet mais il y a quelques stations qui sont bonnes comme les omelettes du petit déjeuner, le riz frit, les pâtes et les pizzas. Le snack bar ouvert 24 heures sur 24 était génial, je recommande d'essayer les brochettes de crevettes et les calamars, mais si vous aimez les frites, préparez-vous à être déçus (et leur ketchup n'est PAS du vrai ketchup...) On nous a donné deux cartes à la carte et elles étaient tout juste moyennes. La plage était assez belle, mais il y a quelques zones rocheuses, mais rien d'extraordinaire. L'animation pendant la journée était bonne, ils essaient de faire bouger tout le monde. J'ai passé la plupart de mon temps au bord des piscines, il y en a 4 au choix, 2 plus isolées et beaucoup de familles à ces piscines. Les deux autres piscines principales se trouvent au centre de la station, j'ai fait des rotations entre les deux. Les divertissements nocturnes n'étaient pas bons du tout, très ennuyeux et pas drôles du tout, bien qu'ils aient essayé.... Un soir, tout le monde est allé au bar à cigares après le spectacle et c'était une grande fête avec des DJ et de la musique, mais la plupart des soirs, c'était ennuyeux car ce sont les deux seules options sur le complexe. Enfin, le service était vraiment bon, surtout si vous donnez un pourboire (ils se souviendront de vous). Dans l'ensemble, je dirais que mon expérience a été plutôt bonne, j'y retournerais une deuxième fois et je recommanderais ce complexe à ma famille et à mes amis

Great first time in Cuba I was very skeptical about traveling to Cuba after many stories I've heard about the bland boring food, getting sick from food, bad service and dirty rooms. I'm happy to say this wasn't the case at Hotel Playa Cayo. I did a lot of research before booking a hotel, and most reviews for this hotel were great. Our room was very clean everyday, everything was functioning properly although the water pressure in the shower wasn't the greatest. No bugs or lizards were found in the room which is good considering we had a room on the first floor. Many stray cats can be found wandering the resort but this didn't bother me, most were quite friendly. The food wasn't the greatest at the buffet but there are a few stations that are good such as the breakfast omelettes, fried rice, pasta and pizza. The 24hr snack bar was awesome, I recommend trying the shrimp skewers and calamari, but if you like french fries prepare to be disappointed (and their ketchup is NOT actual ketchup...) We were given 2 a la cartes and they were just average. The beach was pretty nice, but there are some rocky areas..nothing crazy though. The entertainment during the day there was good, they try to get everybody up and moving. Most of my time was spent by the pools, there are 4 to choose from, 2 more secluded and a lot of families at these pools. The other 2 main ones were in the center of the resort, I rotated between the 2. The nightly entertainment wasn't good at all, very boring and not funny at all although they tried.... There was one night that everyone went to the cigar bar after the show and it was a big party with djs and music, but most nights it was boring as those are your only two options on the resort. And last but not least the service was really good, especially if you tip (they'll definitely remember you) Overall id say my experience was pretty good, id go a second time and recommend this resort to family and friends

Melia Buenavista: Grand centre de villégiature

La seule chose qui mériterait d'être améliorée est la variété de la nourriture proposée. Les plats servis étaient étonnamment savoureux ! Nous y retournerions certainement pour les plages et l'atmosphère tranquille. Les chambres étaient propres et la plongée avec masque et tuba était bonne.

Great resort The only thing that could use a little help is the variety of food offered. The stuff they did serve was surprisingly tastey! We would definitely go back for the beaches and the quiet atmosphere. The rooms were clean and the snorkeling was good also.

Melia Cayo Santa Maria: Love Cuba !

C'était mon 25ème voyage à Cuba ! Cet hôtel était excellent ! Les gens et la nourriture étaient excellents ! Je le recommanderais et j'y retournerais moi-même ! La seule chose que je n'ai pas aimée, c'est le trajet depuis l'aéroport ! C'est très long et ça s'arrête à chaque hôtel ! A part ça, je n'ai que des bonnes choses à dire sur ce resort ! Ce serait bien d'y retourner et de voir toutes les rénovations qu'ils ont faites pendant que nous y étions !

Love Cuba!! This was my 25th time to cuba! This hotel was top notch! People and food were great! I would recommend it and also go back myself! The only thing I didn't like was the trip from the airport! It's very long and stops at every hotel! Other then that I have nothing but good things to say about this resort! It would be nice to go back and see all the renovations they were working on while we were there!!

Playa Cayo Santa Maria: Le paradis sur terre

Le complexe est magnifique. Les chambres étaient spacieuses et propres. La nourriture était excellente, mais pas très variée (la même chose souvent ou tous les deux jours). Le seul point négatif que je dirais, c'est que lorsque nous sommes arrivés, la porte moustiquaire était ouverte et il y avait un tas d'insectes la nuit, mais ils sont venus et ont pulvérisé et nous avons été bien pour le reste du séjour. De plus, je pense qu'ils étaient censés remplir l'eau, les boissons gazeuses et la bière, [... lire plus] mais nous n'avons eu droit qu'à de l'eau tous les jours (ce n'est pas grave car nous n'avons pas beaucoup bu à part de l'eau)

Paradise on earth The resort was beautiful. The rooms spacious and clean. The food was great not that much of a variety though (same thing often or every other day) The only down side I would say was when we first arrived the screen door was open and there was a bunch of insects at night but they came an sprayed and we were good for the rest of the stay. Also, I think they were suppose to refill water pop and beer but we only got the water on a daily basis ( not a biggie as we didn't really drink much beside the water)

Hotel Roc Casa del Mar: Plage et station balnéaire magnifiques. Attention toutefois à la nourriture.

La plage n'a rien à envier aux autres. Le complexe est très propre et agréable. La nourriture est plus que douteuse. 6 personnes sur 6 sont tombées malades. Je vous conseille vivement d'emporter des crackers et des bagels. Le snack-bar est un endroit où l'on peut s'asseoir. Il faut un certain temps pour obtenir de la nourriture. Quand elle arrive, c'est la plus petite portion jamais servie. Ce qui est probablement une bonne chose car elles sont également discutables.

Beautiful beach and resort. Beware of the food though. Beach is second to none. The resort is very clean and nice. The food is beyond questionable. 6 of 6 got sick. Would highly suggest you pack crackers and bagels. The snack bar is sit down. Takes quite a while to get food. When it comes, it's the smallest portions ever. Which is probably a good thing as it too is questionable.

Playa Cayo Santa Maria: 9 semaines dans le même hôtel

Ce sera notre 9ème semaine à l'hôtel au cours des quatre dernières années. Pour nous, revenir autant de fois dans un complexe hôtelier est très spécial et vous donne l'impression d'être de la famille dès votre arrivée dans le complexe. Mareyi (responsable du service clientèle) fait tout son possible pour vous satisfaire et vous mettre à l'aise. Les chambres sont superbes et la climatisation fonctionne très bien. La nourriture est excellente et vous trouverez toujours quelque chose à  [... lire plus]manger. Mais la plage est vraiment magnifique et vous ne trouverez pas d'autre plage où le sable ressemble à de la farine et où l'eau est claire et bleue. Les boissons étaient excellentes et les cappuccinos étaient à tomber par terre. Il y a beaucoup de divertissements et de choses à faire ou à ne pas faire pendant votre séjour. Un grand merci à notre agent Debbie Maguire qui se soucie vraiment de vous et écoute vos besoins,

9 weeks at the same hotel This will be the 9th week at the hotel in the past four years. For us to return to a resort this many times, it is very special and make you feel like family from the first time you check into the resort. Mareyi ( customer service manager) goes out of her way to try to please you and make you feel at ease. The rooms are great and the a/c works great. Food is great and you will find something to eat there. But, the beach is truly stunning and you will not find another beach that the sand feels like flour and the water clear and blue. Drinks were great and the cappuccino were to die for. Plenty of entertainment and things to do or not do while you are there. Melia Las Dunas: C'est un bon moment !

J'ai trouvé le hall de l'hôtel magnifique, mais les chambres étaient datées. Le personnel était très sympathique et tous les problèmes que nous avons eus ont été résolus rapidement. J'ai adoré la plage et la piscine, j'ai passé beaucoup de temps dans les deux endroits ! Le buffet et le barbecue étaient mes préférés. Je ne peux pas dire grand chose de la restauration à la carte. Le seul endroit que j'ai apprécié est la pizzeria. J'ai dû retourner au buffet après d'autres repas à la carte car [... lire plus] je n'ai pas apprécié la nourriture. Nous n'avons pas été informés des autres équipements du complexe, comme le bowling, la discothèque, le marché, etc. Nous avons dû nous renseigner auprès d'autres clients et il était alors trop tard pour les visiter car ils étaient fermés en raison des alertes à l'ouragan. Nous y retournerons en janvier pour un mariage et j'ai hâte d'y revenir.

Good time! I thought the hotel lobby was beautiful but the rooms were dated. Staff were very friendly and any issues we had were solved in a timely manner. Loved the beach and the pool, spent lots of time in both places!! Buffet and bbq dining were my favourites. Can't say much for the a la carte dining. The only place I enjoyed was the pizzeria. Had to go back to buffet after other a la carte as I did not enjoy the food. Were not told about other amenities on resort, like bowling, disco, market, etc. Had to find out about them from other guests and at that point it was too late to visit as things got closed down because of hurricane warnings. We are returning back there in January for a destination wedding event and I am looking forward to visiting again.

Playa Cayo Santa Maria: Nous avons survécu à l'ouragan Matthew !

4.5 étoiles à Cuba, ce n'est pas la même chose qu'en Amérique du Nord. Impression générale : pas spectaculaire mais confortable et sûr pour deux femmes voyageant ensemble. L'air conditionné dans la chambre était fabuleux. La nourriture était correcte au buffet, un bon changement de régime dans les restaurants à la carte. Heureusement que nous avions apporté nos Pringles au beurre de cacahuètes et nos barres de céréales pour avoir des en-cas familiers. La piscine la plus proche de la plage était  [... lire plus]en mauvais état, il manquait des carreaux et les grilles le long du bord étaient cassées à plusieurs endroits. C'est une chose difficile à réparer sans gêner les clients qui arrivent. Belle plage et personnel charmant. Ils ont géré l'ouragan du mieux possible.

We survived Hurricaine Matthew! 4.5 stars in Cuba is not the same as in North America. Overall impression; not spectacular but comfortable and safe for 2 ladies traveling together. A/C in the room was fabulous. Food was ok in the buffet, nice change of diet at the a-la-carte restaurants. Glad we brought our own peanut butter Pringles and granola bars for some familiar snack food. The pool closest to the beach was in rough shape, tiles missing and grating along the edge was broken in many places. A hard thing to fix though without inconveniencing incoming guests. Beautiful beach and lovely staff. They dealt with the hurricane as best as was possible.

Melia Las Dunas: Les bons moments

Nous avons séjourné dans cet hôtel pour un mariage. Malgré la menace de l'ouragan Matthew, nous avons eu un temps magnifique et avons passé un très bon moment. L'hôtel est un peu vieillot et la nourriture est moyenne. Cela dit, le personnel fait toute la différence. Un grand coup de chapeau à JAVIER, le barman de la piscine pour adultes, à SANDY, le serveur du restaurant buffet, et aux dames de la boutique de souvenirs - BARBARA et JAYNELLE. Ces personnes avaient toujours un sourire pour no [... lire plus]us et ont fait tout ce qui était en leur pouvoir pour rendre notre séjour mémorable. Elles ont été GÉNIALES !

Good Times We stayed at this hotel for a wedding. Despite the threat of Hurricane Matthew, we had great weather and a very good time. The hotel is quite dated and the food is average. Having said that, the staff makes all the difference. A big shout out to JAVIER, the bartender at the adult pool, SANDY, the waiter at the buffet restaurant, and the ladies in the gift shop - BARBARA and JAYNELLE. These individuals always had a smile for us and went out of their way to do whatever they could to make our stay memorable. They were AWESOME!

Royalton Cayo Santa Maria: Paradis !

Il s'agissait d'un voyage de retour et nous n'avons pas été déçus. Dès notre arrivée et jusqu'à notre départ, nous nous sommes sentis très bien accueillis. En entrant dans le hall, nous avons été accueillis par notre ancienne "majordome", Diana, qui semblait sincèrement heureuse de nous voir. Alors que nous nous dirigions vers l'enregistrement, puis vers notre chambre, nous avons rencontré de nombreux autres membres du personnel de notre première visite et ils se souvenaient de nous aussi !  [... lire plus] Lily (l'une des serveuses du bar du hall) nous a accueillis et s'est souvenue de la table à laquelle nous étions habituellement assis l'année dernière, ce qui est tout à fait extraordinaire ! Paradise!! This was a return trip and we were not disappointed. From the minute we arrived until we left, we were made to feel very special and welcome. Upon entering the lobby were were greeted by our previous "Butler" Diana, who seemed genuinely happy to see us, as we made our way to register and then on to our room, we met many more staff members from our first visit and they remembered us too! How amazing it was for Lily (one of the lobby bar's waitresses) to welcome us and remember the table we usually sat at last year! The new employees brought new excitement to the resort as well. Memories Paraiso: Très bon pour le prix ! !!!!

Le prix est vraiment bon et l'hôtel (ses chambres) a quelques défauts, même si, globalement, il n'est pas mal du tout....La première chambre qu'on m'a donnée était mauvaise, avait une mauvaise odeur, l'air conditionné ne fonctionnait pas bien et il faisait très sombre à l'extérieur, alors j'ai demandé à être changée pour une meilleure le lendemain matin....Ils m'en ont immédiatement donné une autre, qui à ces égards était bonne, mais le téléphone ne fonctionnait pas et n'avait pas de radio....Je [... lire plus] l'ai gardée telle quelle parce que ces défauts n'étaient pas importants pour moi....Je peux dire que la plage est magnifique, très grande et d'un sable fin exceptionnel, je l'ai adorée.....

Really good for the price !!!!! The price is really good and the hotel (its rooms) have some deficiencies, eventhough, globally it's not bad at all....The first room I was given was bad, had bad odor, air conditioning didn't work well and was very dark in the outside, so I asked to be changed to a better one the next morning....They immediately gave me another one, which in those aspects was good, but the phone didn't work and had no radio....I kept it as is because those defects were not significant for me....I can say that the beach is magnificent, very big and excepcional thin sand, I loved it.....

Memories Paraiso: Belle

Ma fille et moi sommes restées une semaine ici, et nous avons fait un voyage extraordinaire. La plage est absolument parfaite, les piscines sont propres et grandes. Beaucoup de personnel formidable, en particulier Alejandro au bar de la piscine qui était tout simplement merveilleux, et Andy dans l'équipe de divertissement, qui a vraiment fait tout son possible pour s'assurer que nous passions le meilleur moment possible. Nous avons également adoré le personnel du restaurant Mediterranea [... lire plus]n a la Carte, dont la cuisine est également excellente. La chambre était propre et les femmes de chambre adorables. Le mauvais : Nous avons trouvé le personnel de la réception froid et antipathique, et très peu serviable. Ma fille est asthmatique et nous avons demandé à plusieurs reprises à être déplacés dans un bâtiment plus proche de la zone principale car il lui est difficile de marcher par cette chaleur. Nous avons eu l'impression d'être renvoyés (revenez plus tard pour vérifier) (revenez demain après avoir vérifié) malgré le fait que nous étions en basse saison et qu'il y avait beaucoup de chambres vides. Ma fille a eu besoin de son inhalateur de ventilline plus que jamais. À la fin de la semaine, sa respiration était si mauvaise qu'elle a fait une crise d'asthme grave au moment où nous descendions du vol de retour. De plus, nous avons demandé un chariot et un groom pour nous aider avec nos bagages au moment du départ, mais ils ne sont jamais venus, nous avons dû les traîner à la main à travers le complexe, pendant que ma fille luttait pour respirer, et nous avons failli rater notre bus pour l'aéroport. En dehors de la réception, ce complexe est formidable. Je reviendrais simplement sur la base du service que nous avons reçu d'Alejandro et d'Andy.

Beautiful My daughter and I stayed only one week here, and we had an amazing trip. The beach is absolutely perfect, the pools were clean and big. Lots of great staff, especially Alejandro at the pool bar who was just wonderful, and Andy in the entertainment staff, who really went out of his way to make sure we were having the best time possible . We also really loved the staff in Mediterranean a la Carte, which as it happens also had amazing food. The room was clean and the chamber maids lovely. The bad: We found the staff at the front desk to be cold and unfriendly, and very unhelpful. My daughter is asthmatic and we requested several times to be moved to a building closer to the main area as walking is difficult for her in such heat. We felt we were dismissed (come back later and check) (come back tomorrow after check out) despite it being the low season and there being plenty of empty rooms. My daughter required her ventillin inhaler more than I can ever remember. By the end of the week her breathing was so bad that she wound up having a severe asthma attack as we were getting off the flight home. Also, we requested a cart and bellboy to assist us with our luggage for check out, but they never showed up, we had to drag it all by hand accross the resort, while my daughter struggled to breathe, and nearly missed our bus to the airport. Other than the front desk, this resort is great. I would return simply based on the service we got from Alejandro and from Andy.

Playa Cayo Santa Maria: Deuxième séjour dans cet hôtel

Nous venons de rentrer de notre voyage. C'était la deuxième fois que nous y séjournions. Nous avons découvert que l'hôtel avait beaucoup de clients qui revenaient. La plage est magnifique mais cette fois-ci il y avait beaucoup de méduses et beaucoup de gens se sont fait piquer. La nourriture était inférieure à la moyenne pour Cuba à mon avis et bien que j'aie visité Cuba plus de 20 fois, c'était la première fois que ma famille et moi étions vraiment malades à cause de la nourriture. Le personnel [... lire plus] est formidable. Le café au bar du hall est excellent. Il y a 5 piscines pour les amateurs de piscine. L'équipe d'animation est formidable avec les enfants. J'aimerais que la mini-disco commence plus tôt. Mes enfants se couchent à 8 heures mais la mini-disco commence à 9 heures. Dans l'ensemble, je reviendrais parce que nous avons fait un bon voyage et que nous savons à quoi nous attendre dans ce complexe.

Second trip to this hotel We just returned from our trip. It was our second time staying there. We found out that the hotel had many returning guests. The beach is beautiful but this time there were many jelly fish and many people got stung. Food was below average for Cuba in my opinion and although I have visited Cuba more that 20 times, this was the first time my family and I got really sick from the food. The staff are great. Coffee at lobby bar is amazing. There are 5 pools for those pool people. Entertainment team is great with kids. I wish that the mini-disco started earlier. My kids go to bed at 8 but the mini disco starts at 9. Overall I would return again because we had a great trip and know what to expect form this resort.

Valentin Perla Blanca: Détente totale !

J'y suis allé 3 fois en un an. La plage est magnifique, sable blanc et eau turquoise. Excellent service de la part de tout le personnel, les divertissements sont bons, les chambres sont belles, propres et à la pointe de la technologie. Nous voulions des vacances totalement relaxantes (échapper à la réalité !) Je recommande vivement ce complexe.

Total relaxation! Been there 3 times in one year. Beach was amazing, beautiful white sand and turquoise warm blue water. Great service from all the staff, entertainment is good, rooms were nice, clean, and up to date. We wanted a vacation with total relaxation(Escape from Reality!) I definitely recommend this resort.
