Station balnéaire agréable.

Beau complexe hôtelier mais daté. Les chambres, la piscine et le terrain étaient propres. Le buffet était bon et maintenu à bonne température. Le personnel était sympathique. Les plats à la carte étaient également très bons. Dans l'ensemble, de bonnes vacances.

Nice resort. Nice resort but dated. The rooms, pool and grounds were clean. The buffet food was good and kept at proper temperatures. The staff were all friendly. A la cartes were very good as well. Overall a great vacation.

Grandes vacances

Ma fille et moi avons passé une semaine au Be Live Collection Marien à Puerto Plata et nous avons beaucoup apprécié. Je donnerais à ce complexe un peu moins de 5 étoiles, probablement un 4 1/2. Je vais évaluer nos vacances en fonction des catégories suivantes : 1. Le vol : Nous avons volé avec Canjet Airlines et dans l'ensemble nous avons eu un bon vol. Le seul point négatif est que nous avons volé jusqu'à Punta Cana où certains passagers sont partis et d'autres ont embarqué. Nous avons ensuite [... lire plus] volé jusqu'à Puerto Plata, ce qui signifie que nous sommes arrivés plus tard que prévu. À l'origine, lorsque nous avons réservé le vol, il devait s'agir d'un vol direct vers Puerto Plata, mais Canjet a modifié l'itinéraire par la suite. Je comprends leur point de vue puisque l'avion était toujours à moitié plein et qu'il n'y avait probablement pas assez de places pour deux vols directs vers Punta Cana et Puerto Plata. 2. Chambre : Nous avions une chambre standard avec deux lits doubles et une vue sur la terrasse. La chambre était équipée d'un mini-bar, d'une cafetière, d'une télévision, d'une douche, d'une baignoire et de l'air conditionné. Le mini-bar contenait une bouteille d'eau, deux canettes de bière et deux bouteilles de boissons gazeuses. Après avoir donné un pourboire de 5 $ à la femme de chambre, elle a veillé à ce que le mini-bar soit bien approvisionné tout au long de la semaine. Le bâtiment dans lequel nous avons séjourné était situé à côté du hall et de la piscine. Tous les bâtiments sont bien situés dans le complexe. Il nous a fallu moins de 5 minutes pour nous rendre n'importe où dans le complexe. 3. Terrain : Exceptionnel. L'aménagement extérieur était magnifique, très tropical. L'ensemble du complexe est en excellent état et d'une propreté irréprochable. 4. Piscine - Une grande piscine divisée en plusieurs sections. Elle n'est pas trop profonde, ce qui est agréable. Il y avait beaucoup de monde autour de la piscine chaque jour et il était difficile de trouver un palapa ou une chaise si vous attendiez trop longtemps le matin. Les gens laissaient leurs serviettes sur leurs chaises pour s'assurer que personne ne pouvait les prendre. Un panneau indiquait que ce n'était pas autorisé, mais il n'était pas appliqué. Nous avons décidé de ne pas nous asseoir à la piscine avant la fin de l'après-midi, quand il y avait moins de monde, et nous n'avons pas eu de problème pour trouver un endroit ombragé. 5. Plage - Très large et sans algues devant notre hôtel. Ma fille et moi avons marché le long de la plage en passant devant d'autres complexes et je dois dire que la meilleure zone de plage se trouve devant ce complexe. Nous n'avons pas eu de mal à trouver une chaise de plage à l'ombre, car nous n'aimons pas rester trop longtemps en plein soleil. Il y a des vendeurs sur la plage qui s'approchent de vous et essaient de vous faire acheter quelque chose. Ils insisteront, mais un "non merci" ferme et poli suffit. 6. Nourriture : Il y a un restaurant buffet et trois restaurants à la carte. Il faut réserver pour les restaurants à la carte. Le restaurant brésilien était mon préféré. On vous apporte de longues brochettes de steak, de poulet, de porc, etc. et vous pouvez en manger autant que vous voulez. Le Mexicain était également très bon. Le Gourmet était agréable et formel et la nourriture y est également bonne. Nous avons pris le petit déjeuner et le dîner au Buffet et ils offrent un large choix. Le bacon canadien m'a manqué au petit déjeuner. Ils ne l'ont servi qu'un seul matin. Dans l'ensemble, je dirais que la nourriture dans ce complexe est très bonne. 7. Le service : Le personnel était très amical et attentif à nos besoins. On voit qu'ils travaillent dur et qu'ils prennent leur travail au sérieux. Aucun problème pour converser en anglais. 8. Météo : Nous y sommes allés du 9 au 16 janvier. Les trois premiers jours, il a plu périodiquement tout au long de la journée et le soleil s'est montré pendant un certain temps, puis il a recommencé à pleuvoir. Ensuite, les quatre derniers jours, le temps a été fantastique : beau et ensoleillé toute la journée, avec une bonne brise. Les soirées étaient très agréables. 9. Excursions : Il y a un certain nombre d'excursions que vous pouvez réserver au centre de villégiature. Ma fille et moi avons pris le catamaran qui offre un déjeuner et des boissons tout en naviguant le long de la côte. Le catamaran fait quelques arrêts où l'on peut faire de la plongée en apnée dans les récifs et observer les poissons tropicaux. Nous avons également fait le tour de la ville de Puerto Plata. Ils vous emmènent en ascenseur au sommet de la deuxième plus haute montagne de la République dominicaine. Vous aurez une vue imprenable sur la ville et la côte. Vous visiterez également l'usine de rhum (nous avons acheté du rhum et c'était incroyablement bon marché). Vous visiterez également le musée de l'ambre et le vieux fort qui gardait la ville, et vous pourrez faire du shopping. Nous avons vraiment passé de merveilleuses vacances à Puerto Plata. Est-ce que je retournerais à Puerto Plata ? Oui. Est-ce que je choisirais une autre station balnéaire ? Probablement pas. C'était un très beau complexe et j'y retournerais certainement si je le pouvais.

Great Vacation My daughter and I spent one week at the Be Live Collection Marien in Puerto Plata and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I would rate this resort just under 5 stars probably a 4 1/2. I will review our holiday according to the following categories: 1. Flight: We flew with Canjet Airlines and overall we had a good flight. The only negative factor is that we flew to Punta Cana where some passengers departed and others boarded. We then flew to Puerto Plata which overall meant we arrived later than we thought we would. Originally when we booked the flight it was to be a direct flight to Puerto Plata but Canjet changed the itinerary later. I can see their point since the plane was always half full and there probably was not enough for two direct flights to Punta Cana and Puerto Plata. 2. Room: We had a standard room with two double beds and a terrace view. The room had a mini bar, coffee maker, TV, shower and tub and A/C. The mini bar had a bottle of water, two cans of beer and two bottles of pop. After tipping the maid $5 she kept the mini bar well stocked throughout the week. The building we stayed in was next to the lobby and close to the pool. All of the buildings are well situated throughout the resort. It took us less than 5 minutes to walk anywhere in the resort. 3. Grounds: Exceptional. The outdoor landscaping was beautiful; very tropical. The whole resort was kept in excellent condition and was spotlessly clean. 4. Pool - A large pool divided into sections. Its not too deep which is nice. Lots of people around the pool each day and it was hard to find a palapa or chair if you waited too long in the morning. People would leave their towels on their chairs to make sure no one could take it. A sign pointed out this was not allowed but it wasn't enforced. We decided not to sit at the pool until late afternoon when it wasn't as busy and we had no problem finding a shady spot. 5. Beach - Very wide with no seaweed in front of our resort. My daughter and I walked a long way down the beach past some other resorts and I have to say the best beach area is in front of this resort. We usually had no problem finding a beach chair in the shade since we both don't like to sit in the direct sun for too long. There are beach vendors that will come up to you and try to get you to buy something. They will persist but a firm and polite "no thank you" is all that's needed. 6. Food: There is one buffet restaurant and three al a carte's. You have to make a reservation for the al a carte's. The Brazilian was my favourite. They will bring you long skewers of steak, chicken, pork etc and you can have as much as you want. The Mexican was very good as well. The Gourmet was nice and formal and the food is good there too. We ate breakfast and dinner as well at the Buffet and they offer a wide selection. I missed my Canadian bacon though for breakfast. They only served it one morning. Overall I would rate the food at this resort as very good. 7. Service: Staff were very friendly and attentive to our needs. You can tell that they work hard and take their jobs seriously. No problem conversing in English. 8. Weather: We were there from January 9th to 16th. The first three days it rained periodically throughout the day and the sun would come out for awhile and then it would rain again. After that for the last four days it was fantastic weather; beautiful and sunny all day with a nice breeze. Evenings were very comfortable. 9. Excursions: There are a number of excursions you can book at the resort. My daughter and I took the catamaran ride which provided a lunch and drinks while sailing along the coast. It makes a couple of stops where you can snorkel in the reefs and view the tropical fish. Also we took the tour of the city of Puerto Plata. They take you up a lift to the top of the 2nd highest mountain in the Dominican. You will have some breathtaking views of the city and the coast. You will also visit the rum factory (we bought some rum and it was incredibly inexpensive). You will also visit the Amber Museum and the old fort that used to guard the city as well as be able to do some shopping. We really had a wonderful vacation here. Would I go back to Puerto Plata? Yes. Would I choose another resort? Not very likely. This was a beautiful resort and I would return there for sure if I could.

Endroit magnifique, vacances très appréciées.

J'ai adoré la chambre avec beaucoup d'espace de rangement, très propre et avec un service de ménage formidable. Grande piscine, idéale pour les familles. Beaucoup de chaises à la piscine et à la plage. Service au bar merveilleux, pas bon marché quand il s'agit de verser des boissons. Personnel très sympathique, au bar, au restaurant et à la réception. J'y retournerais dans la minute. J'ai adoré.

Wonderful place, great valued holiday. Loved the room plenty of storage, very clean wonderful maid service. Large pool, great for families. Loads of chairs at pool and beach. service at the bar wonderful, not cheap when it comes to pouring drinks. Very friendly staff, at the bars and restaurant, and service desk. I would go back there in a minute. Loved it.

L'hôtel est correct, notre chambre est propre, c'est l'endroit idéal pour se détendre et se relaxer. On ne s'ennuie pas, il y a beaucoup de choses à faire. Une grande partie du personnel ne parle pas anglais mais ils sont très sympathiques. C'est un snack bar ouvert 24 heures sur 24, j'aime bien...

It is nice and beautiful resort. Hotel is ok, our room is clean, right place to relax and unwind. You don't get bored, a lot of things to do. A lot of the staff don't speak English but they are so friendly. It is a 24 hour snack bar i like it..

La pire station balnéaire que j'aie jamais visitée

Il y a de la moisissure dans les chambres. Le personnel n'est pas venu évaluer le problème. Les chambres sont très démodées et n'étaient pas propres dès l'entrée. Il y avait des saletés sur l'extérieur de la baignoire provenant des clients précédents. Les petits déjeuners étaient dégoûtants. Pommes de terre bouillies, petits pois carottes, petits pois et carottes mélangés, maïs bouilli, yucca, épinards, courges, haricots, hot-dogs qu'ils appellent saucisses et œufs bouillis avec des mouches flot [... lire plus]tant dans leur bain d'eau. Après avoir expliqué au directeur que les hot-dogs ne devraient pas être étiquetés comme des saucisses, le lendemain, l'affiche indiquait "hot-dogs". Lorsque l'on montre ces problèmes au responsable de l'alimentation, il répond que les mouches meurent lorsqu'elles touchent l'eau. Il a ensuite tenté en vain de les retirer avec la cuillère de service et s'est éloigné. Le jambon cuit tranché de la charcuterie était fortement desséché sur les bords. C'était le cas tous les jours. J'ai eu la diarrhée pendant trois jours avant de me rendre en ville à la pharmacie pour obtenir une ordonnance. La plupart des personnes à qui j'ai parlé au centre de villégiature étaient également tombées malades à cause de la nourriture. Je n'irai plus jamais dans un centre de villégiature BE LIVE. Le personnel ne se soucie pas de la santé et de la sécurité, qu'il s'agisse de chambres moisies ou de nourriture de mauvaise qualité. Ne vous rendez pas dans ce centre de vacances.

worst resort I have been to The rooms have mould in them. The staff didn't come to evaluate the problem. the rooms are very out dated and were not clean upon initial entry. There was filth on the outside of the bathtub from previous guests. The breakfasts were disgusting. Boiled potatoes,peas carrots, peas and carrots mixed,corn boiled yucca,spinach,squash,beans,hot dogs that they call sausages and boiled eggs with flies floating in it's bath of water. When explaining to the manager that hot dogs shouldn't be labelled as sausages,the next day the sign read "hot dogs". When showing the food manager these issues , he said the flies die when they hit the water. He then attempted unsuccessfully to remove them with the serving spoon, and walked away. The deli sliced cooked ham was severely dried up on the edges. This was every day. I had the runs for three days before trekking into town to the pharmacy to get a prescription. Most of the people I talked to at the resort also had fallen ill because of the food. I will never go to a BE LIVE resort again. The staff doesn't care about health and safety, weather it be mouldy rooms or substandard food. Stay clear of this resort.

Mon mari et moi, mon fils de 20 ans et ma fille de 18 ans y avons passé 7 nuits. Nous avons passé un séjour extraordinaire. Les chambres étaient propres, la nourriture fabuleuse, les activités super amusantes. Le personnel était excellent. Un coup de chapeau particulier à Danny, le "towel boy", qui nous a charmés avec son sourire.

One word: Awesome! My husband and I, my 20 year old son and 18 year old daughter spent 7 nights there. We had an amazing time. The rooms were clean, the food fabulous, the activities super fun. The staff were excellent. A special shout out to Danny the "towel boy" who charmed us with his smile.

Piscine et salle de sport fantastiques !

Ce centre de villégiature présente de nombreux atouts. L'agencement est fonctionnel et facile à parcourir. En sortant du hall principal, vous avez une vue imprenable sur le terrain et la piscine. Les bars sont idéalement situés dans l'ensemble du complexe pour un accès facile. La terrasse de la piscine est immense ! J'ai adoré l'espace piscine. Il y a beaucoup d'activités et de musique autour de la piscine. J'y suis allée à Noël, donc le terrain était magnifiquement décoré avec des lumières et d [... lire plus]'autres accessoires de Noël. La discothèque était située dans le hall principal, de sorte que les résidences n'étaient pas dérangées par le bruit. Le buffet principal était grand et organisé de manière à permettre une bonne circulation des personnes, de sorte qu'il n'y avait que très peu de goulots d'étranglement. La nourriture était très bonne. Il y avait beaucoup d'options. Des fruits frais, des jus, des pâtes et des viandes. Je n'avais aucune raison d'aller au restaurant. Le personnel de l'hôtel était très sympathique. Il y a un casino public et une discothèque à une courte distance et on peut se promener en toute sécurité à l'extérieur du complexe. J'ai adoré la salle de sport située à l'avant de l'hôtel. Il y avait des fenêtres mur à mur, l'air conditionné, c'était propre et moderne ! Un grand plus !

Fantastic Pool and Gym! There are many great features of this resort. The layout is functional and easy to get around,. You get a great view of the grounds and the pool area when you come off the main lobby. Bars are conviently located thorughout the resort for easy access. The pool deck is huge! I loved the pool area. There are a lot of activities and music that occur around the pool. I went at christmas so the grounds were decorated beautifly with lights and other christmas paraphanalia. The disco was located in the main lobby so there was no noise disturbances to the residences. The main buffet was large and was organized to allow proper flow of people throughout so there was miminum bottle necking. The food was very good. It had a lot of options. Fresh fruit, juices, pastas meats. I felt no reason to go to the restaurants. The hotel staff was very friendly. There is a publi casino and disco a short distance away and it is safe to walk off the resort. I lovd tthe gym that was located at the front of the resort. It had wall to wall windows air conditioning, it was clean and modern! A big plus!

Expérience relaxante

Dans l'ensemble, nous avons passé un très bon moment, la nourriture était bonne, la plage était belle et la piscine semblait toujours propre. Il n'y avait pas de bar, mais il y en avait un tout près de la piscine. Pas de problème avec notre chambre, mais nous avons trouvé que les toilettes dans tout le complexe n'étaient pas toujours propres.

Relaxing experience Overall very nice time, food was good, beach was nice and the pool always seemed clean. No swim up bar, but there was one really close to the pool. No problems with our room, but we did find that the washrooms through out the resort were not always clean.

TERRIBLE STATION *EMPOISONNEMENT ALIMENTAIRE*

Je suis un sous-chef avec de nombreuses années d'expérience et je dois dire que je suis très contrarié par ce que l'hôtel a réellement ressemblé quand je suis arrivé. Le premier jour, j'ai trouvé du papier hygiénique dans la laitue iceberg du snack-bar. Le deuxième jour, nous avons mangé et le soir, j'ai commencé à vomir et à avoir de graves crampes d'estomac avec de la diarrhée environ 4 heu [... lire plus]res après avoir mangé. C'est ce que l'on ressent en cas d'intoxication alimentaire. J'ai été malade pendant quatre jours et mon ami l'a été deux jours après moi. Le dernier jour, nous nous sentions tous les deux mieux et nous sommes finalement allés manger. Nous avons mordu dans un morceau de nugget de poulet et nous avons vu du poulet entièrement cru à l'intérieur ! On ne plaisante pas avec la SALMONELLA et c'est à ce moment-là que j'ai compris pourquoi nous étions malades. Le problème est que tout le monde s'en foutait, le conseiller SUNWING nous a ri au nez en disant que c'était probablement de la nourriture d'extérieur (nous n'avons pas mangé à l'extérieur) En résumé, ce n'est absolument PAS RECOMMANDÉ. Les boissons sont également très mauvaises, le vin imbuvable, et le terrain n'a pas été très bien entretenu depuis l'ouverture du complexe, semble-t-il. BONNE CHANCE !

TERRIBLE RESORT *FOOD POISONING* this resort is described as a 4 plus star however they should be lucky to have 3 stars. I am a sous chef with many years experience and I have to say I am very upset about what the hotel actually looked like when I got there. The food for one is about 2 Star service our first day there i found toilet paper in the iceberg lettuce at the snack bar. The second day we ate and at night I started throwing up and having severe stomach cramps with diarrhea about 4 hours after i ate. This is what food poisoning feels like. I was sick for 4 days and my boyfriend was sick two days after me. On our last day we were both feeling better and finally went to go eat we bit into a piece of chicken nugget only to see RAW COMPLETELY RAW chicken inside! SALMONELLA is no joking matter and at that moment I knew why we were sick. The problem is that nobody really cared SUNWING adviser laughed in our face saying it was probably outside food. (we didnt eat outside) All in all NOT RECOMMENDED whatsoever. The drinks are also quite terrible, the wine undrinkable, and the grounds havent been very well maintained since the resort has opened it seems. GOOD LUCK!

J'ai adoré le complexe, le terrain est magnifique, la piscine est impeccable et magnifique, j'ai adoré les ponts qui traversent la piscine et les différentes sections. Le personnel du bar de la piscine était formidable et les boissons étaient délicieuses. Il n'y avait rien que vous ne puissiez obtenir. Notre femme de chambre Josephina était adorable, et la décoration qu'elle a faite avec des fleurs et nos serviettes était un régal à voir. Nous sommes allés au restaurant brésilien et au restauran [... lire plus]t mexicain et la nourriture était excellente. Le buffet aurait pu être un peu plus varié, mais il y avait toujours quelque chose à manger. Nous avons assisté à l'illumination de l'arbre dans le hall, avec des boissons et des en-cas, dans une ambiance très agréable, et les enfants ont vraiment apprécié. Le personnel a consacré beaucoup de temps et d'énergie à la décoration du complexe. J'ai été malade la première semaine - quelque chose d'intestinal - je n'ai rien attrapé au centre de villégiature, plutôt dans l'avion. Mais le personnel a été très gentil, un jeune homme du buffet m'a préparé une assiette et est venu avec mon mari. Il m'a également dit que l'amaretto était très bon pour les estomacs fragiles, alors il est allé au snack-bar près de la plage et m'a ramené un petit verre d'amaretto et une tisane. C'était très touchant. J'ai trouvé le personnel de ce centre de villégiature très amical et très serviable, ils avaient toujours un sourire pour vous, même les employés du terrain vous disaient Hola. Mon mari et moi y sommes restés deux semaines et la deuxième a été extraordinaire, car je commençais à me sentir mieux. Nous avons eu quelques problèmes à notre arrivée, avec notre chambre qu'ils ont changée pour nous et qui était très bien, et nous avons eu des problèmes avec notre coffre-fort, qui a finalement été réglé. Rocky Start but fantastic from then on I loved the resort, the grounds were amazing, the pool spotless and gorgeous, I loved the bridges that went over the pool and the different sections. The pool bar staff were great and the drinks were wonderful. There wasn't anything you couldn't get. Our maid Josephina was so lovely, and the decorating she did with flowers and our towels were a treat to see. We went to the Brazilian and the Mexican restaurants and the food was great. The Buffet could have done with a little more variety, but you could always finds something to eat. We were there for the tree lighting in the lobby with drinks and snacks and a great atmosphere, it was lovely, the children definitely enjoyed it. The staff spent so much time and energy decorating the resort. I was sick the first week - something intestinal - nothing I caught at the resort, more likely on the plane. But the staff were very kind, one young man from the buffet put something together on a plate for me and came up with my husband. He also told me amaretto was very good for a dodgy stomach, so he went over to the snack bar by the beach and brought me back a small glass of amaretto and some herbal tea. It was very touching. I found the staff at this resort very friendly and very helpful, they always had smiles for you, even the grounds people said Hola to you. My husband and I were there for two weeks and the second one was amazing, as I started to feel better. There were a few bumpy patches when we first got there, with our room which they changed for us and it was great. and we had problems with our safe, which finally got straigtened away. But we did enjoy our vacation and are still talking about it. Marian

Voyage agréable et relaxant

Nous avons séjourné au Be Live Grand Marien du 4 au 11 décembre 2014. C'est la 4e fois que nous avons visité la République dominicaine, et notre 2e voyage à Pureto Plata, cette station est beaucoup mieux que notre 1er voyage. La chambre d'hôtel est confortable, le service de chambre est très bon et la femme de chambre est si sympathique. La réception de l'hôtel a répondu à nos demandes rapidement, bon service à la clientèle. Pendant notre séjour, ils ont mis à niveau notre TV à écran plat avec d [... lire plus]es chaînes satellite. Nous avons apprécié la piscine, pas trop fréquentée. Marcher le long de la plage était si relaxant ; et il y a beaucoup de chaises de plage. Une salle d'exercice est également disponible. La nourriture au buffet est bonne, il y a beaucoup de variétés et toujours des nouveautés. Les repas au restaurant brésilien, au restaurant mexicain et au restaurant gastronomique sont excellents. Le snack-bar situé au bord de la plage propose une grande variété de plats. Nous pouvions nous détendre et profiter à notre propre rythme. L'équipe de divertissement est formidable, elle propose différents types de spectacles chaque soir. Nous retournerons certainement dans ce complexe à l'avenir.

Enjoyable and Relaxing Trip We stayed at Be Live Grand Marien from December 4 to 11, 2014. This is the 4th time we visited Dominican Republic, and our 2nd trip to Pureto Plata, this resort is much better than our 1st trip. Hotel room is comfortable, room service is very good and the maid is so friendly. Hotel front desk responded to our request quick, good customer services. During our stay, they upgraded our TV to flat screen TV with satillate channels. We enjoyed the swimming pool, not too crowded. Walking along the beach was so relaxing; and there are plenty of beach chairs. Exercises room is also available. Food at the buffet is good, plenty of varieties, always have new items. The dinner food at Brazilian restaurant, Mexican restaurant and Gourmet restaurant is excellent. Snack bar located at the beach side has varieties of food. We could relax and enjoy at our own pace. Entertainment crew is great, they have different types of performance each night. We will certainly go back to this resort again in the future.

Les personnes qui aiment se baigner à la plage seront très déçues. Nous avons visité la première semaine de décembre 2014, l'océan et la zone de la plage était sale. L'hébergement et la nourriture étaient acceptables, le service ne l'était pas.

Not exactly what I expected. People who like to swim at the beach will be very disappointed. We visited first week in December 2014, the ocean and the beach area was dirty. The accomodation and the food was acceptable, the service was not.

Excellent rapport qualité-prix et personnel très sympathique

Cet hôtel se trouve à seulement 20 minutes de l'aéroport et le passage de la douane et la montée dans le bus ont été très faciles. L'enregistrement peut prendre un certain temps étant donné le nombre de personnes qui s'enregistrent en même temps, mais le personnel de la réception est très aimable et efficace. Nous avons eu un problème avec la première chambre qui nous a été attribuée, mais il a été résolu dès le lendemain. La piscine est très belle et bien entretenue. Elle a la forme d'un trèfle à trois feuilles. Les activités aquatiques organisées sont toutes proposées à une extrémité de la piscine, ce qui vous permet d'éviter ce côté si vous n'êtes pas intéressé. Il y a beaucoup de chaises longues sur lesquelles s'asseoir, mais seules quelques-unes d'entre elles avaient des palapas pour l'ombre, et elles ont donc été rapidement prises d'assaut. Nous n'avons pas passé beaucoup de temps sur la plage, mais il y a également beaucoup de chaises longues. Ce complexe a besoin d'être entretenu, mais il y a des signes d'amélioration. Nous avons séjourné dans le bâtiment 5. La salle de bain de notre chambre a été rénovée et nous avions un lit king size qui était aussi dur qu'un rocher. Sinon, la chambre aurait besoin d'un nouveau réfrigérateur (plus froid) et d'une nouvelle télévision. Le personnel de cet hôtel, en général, est incroyablement amical et intéressé par le bien-être des clients. J'ai été surpris par le nombre de langues parlées par le personnel : anglais, français, allemand, italien, espagnol et même néerlandais. Il y a beaucoup de cocktails disponibles, mais si vous n'arrivez pas à vous décider, demandez à Jorge de vous préparer sa boisson fétiche appelée "I don't know" (je ne sais pas).

Great Value and Super-friendly staff This hotel is only 20 minutes from the airport and getting through customs and on the bus was very easy. Check in can take some time given the number of people all checking in at the same time, but the front desk staff are very friendly and efficient. We did have an issue with the first room they gave us, but this was rectified by the next day. As for food, the Buffet restaurant was decent and there are three a la cart restaurants that we had no problems getting reservations for. The pool is very nice and well maintained. It is shaped like a three leaf clover. The organized water activites are all provided at one end of the pool so you can stay clear of that side if you are not interested. There are lots of loungers to sit on, but only a few of them had palapas for shade, so they got snapped up pretty quickly. We did not spend much time on the beach, but there are also lots of loungers there. This resort does need some upkeep but there were signs that they are making improvements. We stayed in building 5. The bathroom in our room was renovated and we had a king sized bed that was as hard as a rock. Otherwise the room could use a new (colder) bar fridge and a new TV. The staff at this hotel, in general, are amazingly friendly and interested in the well-being of the guests. I was amazed at how many languages the staff spoke; English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, even Dutch. The pool bar is a great place to hang out, the staff are great and keep every one entertained. there are lots of cocktails available, but if you can't decide, just ask Jorge to make you his signature drink called 'I don't know'.

Le meilleur personnel de tous les temps

Le terrain est impeccable et le personnel de l'hôtel, du hall au restaurant en passant par le service de nettoyage, est très aimable et arrangeant. Les restaurants à la carte offraient une grande variété d'options. La plage était propre et le marché Orange, en bas de la plage, était un endroit idéal pour acheter des cadeaux.

Best Staff Ever The grounds are kept immaculate and the hotel staff from lobby to restaurants to maid service were very friendly and accommodating. The a la carte's had a variety of options to choose from. The beach was kept clean and the Orange Market down the beach was a great place to get gifts.

Une période merveilleuse

Complexe hôtelier bien aménagé avec des chambres confortables. Le personnel est très sympathique et les animations nombreuses. Beaucoup de chaises longues et de grandes plages et piscines. La nourriture n'était pas cinq étoiles mais nous n'avons pas eu faim. Beaucoup d'options de fruits de mer. J'ai vraiment aimé le mélange de touristes ici. Il y avait des gens du Canada, des États-Unis, de l'Amérique du Sud et de l'Europe.

wonderful time Nicely laid out resort with comfortable rooms. Great friendly staff with lots of entertainment. Plenty of lounge chairs and large beach and pool area. Food was not five star but we did not go hungry. Lots of seafood options. I really liked the tourist mix here. There were people from Canada USA South America and Europe.

Superbe escapade d'anniversaire !

Mon copain et moi avons passé une semaine au Be Live Grand Marien pour fêter mon anniversaire. Dès que nous nous sommes approchés du comptoir d'enregistrement, nous nous sommes sentis les bienvenus. Nous sommes arrivés au complexe vers 15 heures et nous avons été invités à déjeuner au restaurant buffet pendant que l'on préparait notre chambre. Le repas était délicieux et lorsque nous sommes retournés à la réception 30 minutes plus tard, notre chambre était prête. Nous avions une chambre au 1er é [... lire plus]tage du 4ème bloc qui est l'un des blocs non rénovés, néanmoins la chambre était belle et spacieuse et très bien décorée. Le lit était massif et très confortable. Nous avons pris le petit déjeuner au buffet presque tous les matins et ils avaient une grande sélection d'options de nourriture chaude et froide, des jus de fruits frais mélangés sur place, des fruits frais, des pains, et des céréales chaudes et froides. Le même restaurant buffet propose le déjeuner et le dîner, avec là encore un grand choix d'options pendant les deux services de restauration et un personnel formidable qui s'occupe de vous. Nous avons eu l'occasion de profiter de deux des trois restaurants à la carte, car en fonction de l'occupation du complexe, seuls un ou deux des restaurants à la carte peuvent être ouverts un soir donné. Il y a un horaire tournant qui détermine quel restaurant sera ouvert quel soir, donc je vous suggère de faire vos réservations pour le dîner le plus tôt possible. Nous avons apprécié le restaurant mexicain qui offrait une cuisine délicieuse, je recommande vivement l'entrée de bœuf Salpicon... je pourrais manger cela et seulement cela pour le reste de ma vie ! Pour mon anniversaire, nous avons dîné au restaurant brésilien et quel régal ! 7 viandes différentes embrochées et ils viennent à votre table et vous disent "dites quand" pendant qu'ils empilent du bœuf, du poulet, du porc, de la saucisse, de la dinde, et 2 autres dans votre assiette... absolument incroyable ! Nous n'avons pas eu l'occasion d'essayer le restaurant Gourmet, mais d'après ce qu'on m'a dit, il propose un dîner intime de 3 plats éclairé aux chandelles, ce qui semblait charmant. Le terrain de la station est magnifique, très propre, bien entretenu, tout était parfait. La piscine était excellente, avec un bar et des barmen qui s'occupaient de tout. La plage était exactement ce dont nous avions besoin. Il y a beaucoup de lits de plage et beaucoup d'auvents pour s'allonger. Il y a un peu plus d'algues que je n'aime près de la plage, mais cela fait partie de l'expérience. Je n'ai vu aucun vendeur sur la plage, ce qui était très agréable. Dans l'ensemble, c'est un excellent complexe hôtelier, pas trop grand, ce qui permet de se déplacer facilement, et tout le personnel est formidable. Les animateurs sont de véritables artistes qui veillent à ce que vous profitiez de chaque instant de votre séjour. Hector, qui fait partie de l'équipe d'animation, est un touche-à-tout. C'est vraiment merveilleux de voir à quel point il est heureux à tout moment et s'assure que vous passez toujours un bon moment. C'était nos premières vacances ensemble et nous avons apprécié chaque instant, j'y retournerais sans hésiter !

Amazing Birthday get away! My boyfriend and I spent a week at Be Live Grand Marien to celebrate my birthday. From the moment we approached the check in counter we felt welcomed. We arrived at the resort around 3pm and we were invited to have lunch at the buffet restaurant while they finished getting our room ready. The food was delicious and when we returned to reception 30 minutes later our room was ready. We had a room on the 1st floor of the 4th block which is one of the non-renovated blocks, nonetheless the room was nice and spacious and very well decorated. The bed was massive and very comfortable. We enjoyed breakfast at the buffett almost every morning and they had a great selection of hot and cold food options, fresh blended on the spot fruit juices, fresh fruit, breads, and hot and cold cereal. The same buffett restaurant offers lunch and dinner, again great options during both food services with great staff taking care of you. We had the opportunity to enjoy 2 of the 3 a la carte restaurants as depending on the occupancy of the resort only 1 or 2 of the a la carte restaurants may be open on any given night. There is a rotating schedule which determines which restaurant will be open on which night, so I suggest you make your dinner reservations sooner rather than later. We enjoyed the Mexican restaurant which offered delicious food, I high recomment the Beef Salpicon appetizer...I could eat that and only that for the rest of my life! We had my birthday dinner at the Brazilian restaurant and what a treat it was. 7 different meats skewered and they come to your table and they tell you "say when" as they pile beef, chicken, pork, sausage, turkey, and 2 others onto your plate...absolutely amazing! We didn't get a chance to try the Gourmet restaurant but from what I was told it they offer an intimate candle lit 3 course dinner, it sounded lovely. The resort grounds were beautiful, very very clean, well maintained, everything looked picture perfect. The pool was excellet with a pool bar and great bartenders looking after your every need. The beach was just what we needed. Plenty of beach beds and lots of canopys to lay under. A little more seaweed than I liked close to the beach but it's all part of the experience. I didn't see any vendors on the beach which was very very nice. All in all, a great resort, not too big so it's easy to get around and all the staff if great. The entertainment staff are true artists ensuring you are enjoying every moment of your stay. Hector with the entertainment crew is a jack of all trades, truly wonderful to see how happy he is at all times ensuring you are always having a good time. It was our first vacation together and we enjoyed every single moment, I would go back in a heart beat!

Belle station balnéaire

La nourriture est bonne. Nous n'avons pas essayé d'autres restaurants, nous avons mangé au buffet tous les jours. Les gens sont très sympathiques et répondent à vos besoins dans tous les sens. La plage était très belle... Très propre... Recommandez le surclassement en chambre supérieure.

Nice resort Food is good. We didn't try other restaurants, we ate buffet everyday. People are very friendly and accommodate your needs in every way. Beach was very nice..Very clean..recommend upgrade to Superior rooms.

C'était bien

L'hôtel est fatigué et a besoin d'un peu de soin. La chambre sentait le renfermé et les meubles étaient abîmés, le pire étant les lits qui étaient si inconfortables. La nourriture était très bonne et les gens étaient très gentils. Il y a des gens qui essaient constamment de vous faire acheter des actions, alors soyez catégorique dès le début sur le fait que vous n'êtes pas intéressé.

It was ok The resort is tired and in need of some TLC. The room was musty and the furniture was beat up, the worst part was the beds they were so uncomfortable. The food was really good and the people were really nice. They have people constantly trying to get you to buy shares so just be adamant from the beginning you are not interested.

Grand centre de villégiature !

Ce centre de villégiature a dépassé mes attentes. J'étais un peu hésitant car on m'avait déjà recommandé d'autres complexes et les hôtels n'étaient pas très bien. La piscine est superbe et vraiment grande. J'y suis allée en juillet, donc la plupart des touristes étaient des locaux et parlaient surtout espagnol. C'était calme et relaxant. Les chambres étaient standard et propres. Les mini-fourmis étaient un problème dans la salle de bain, mais vous aurez tendance à voir cela dans beaucoup d'endro [... lire plus]its où vous allez. Cela n'a pas perturbé notre séjour. La nourriture était bonne mais peu variée. Ce que vous aviez pour le déjeuner était ce que vous verriez pour le dîner avec un ajout de viande ou de poisson. Les restaurants étaient incroyables ! Je vous recommande de réserver et d'aller dans chacun d'entre eux. La nourriture était excellente ! Les activités étaient également très bonnes. Le personnel était très sympathique et il y avait des activités tous les jours tous les jours. Nous avons eu du beau temps tous les jours, pas de pluie pendant toute la semaine où nous étions là. La plage était correcte, mais en raison de vents très forts, le sable a été emporté partout, ce qui n'a pas facilité l'entretien, j'en suis sûr, pour le personnel. L'océan contenait beaucoup d'algues. Je recommande cet hôtel et j'y retournerai. Allez visiter SEA WORLD - je vous le recommande vivement. Great Resort! This resort exceeded my expectations. I was a little hesitant as I have been given recommendations for other resorts before and the hotels were not ok. The pool is great and really big. I did go in July so most of the tourists were locals and mostly spoke spanish. It was quiet and relaxing. Rooms were standard, clean. Mini Ants were an issue in bathroom, but you will tend to see this alot of places you go. It did not interfere with our stay. The food was good but not much variety. What you had for lunch was what you would see for dinner with a meat / fish addition. The restaurants were amazing ! I recommend that you ensure you make your reservations and go to all of these. The food was great! The activities were also really good. Very friendly staff and there were activities every day. We had great weather every day, no rain for the full week we were there. The beach was ok, but due to very high winds, the sand blew all over so it was not an easy maintenance I'm sure for staff. Ocean had lots seaweed. I'd recommend this hotel, and I would return again.
