J'ai fait une bonne affaire... donc pour moi c'était o.k..... chambres étaient vieilles et la piscine des bungalows est restée verte ....plage, hôtel très agréable... la nourriture était bonne... pour le prix on ne peut pas se plaindre....le personnel très gentil... toujours prêt à aider... j'ai vu certaines des villas... c'est plus joli sur la plage... pas un endroit pour les gens qui boivent... c'était un endroit où l'on ne s'arrête pas de boire pour la jeune génération....

Fair for the price.... I had a good deal...so for me it was o.k.....rooms were old and the pool at the bungalows stayed green ....beach, hotel very nice...food was good...for the price can not complain....The staff very nice...always wanting to help...I saw some of the villas...look nicer on the beach...not a place for people that drink...that was a non stop drunk for the younger generation....

tout était magnifiquement entretenu, propre et sans détritus. Nous étions dans les bungalows et la scène était juste à côté de nous et la salle à manger n'était qu'à un jet de pierre également.

large resort everything was beautifully kept up . clean and litter free. Lots of walking to the different places .We were in the bungalows and the stage was right beside us and the dining room was only a stone throw away also .

Playa Costa Verde: excellent centre de villégiature !

Le complexe était magnifique et bien entretenu, avec une belle plage. La nourriture était assez bonne au buffet et le restaurant japonais était incroyable. Il y avait beaucoup d'activités sur place et un excellent choix d'excursions.

excellent resort! The resort was beautiful and well kept with a beautiful beach. The food was pretty good at the buffet and the Japanese restaurant was amazing. There was lots of activities right on the resort and a excellent selection of excursions to pick from.

Paradisus Rio De Oro: N'hésitez pas à réserver vos vacances ici

Qu'est-ce que j'ai vu ? En résumé, WOW ! C'est un complexe bien géré, les installations sont magnifiques, les terrains sont bien entretenus et paisibles sans musique bruyante, la nourriture est superbe et le personnel est amical et vraiment accueillant. J'ai séjourné cinq fois dans mon centre de villégiature préféré à Cayo Santa Maria, et bien que la plage de Cayo Santa Maria soit vraiment spectaculaire, le Paradis Rio de Oro Resort est ma nouvelle destination de prédilection. Je reviendrai to [... lire plus]ujours ! N'hésitez pas à vous y rendre ! Il se situe dans une ligue au-dessus des autres complexes hôteliers que j'ai visités à Cuba. Il mérite vraiment sa note de 5 étoiles. TJ'ai séjourné ici en avril 2014 avec des amis.

Do not hesitate to book your vacation here What can I saw. In summary WOW! This is a well run resort, the facilities are beautiful, grounds well kept and peaceful without loud music blasting at you, the food is superb, and the staff is friendly and truly welcoming. I have stayed 5 times at my favorite resort in Cayo Santa Maria, and although the beach in Cayo Santa Maria is truly spectacular, the Paradisis Rio de Oro Resort is my new go-to destination. I will keep coming back! Don't hesitate and just go here! It is in a league above the other resorts I have been to in Cuba. Truly deserving of their 5 star rating. TStayed here April 2014 with friends.

Aston Costa Verde Beach Resort: bon centre de villégiature

j'ai vraiment apprécié mon séjour dans ce complexe. J'ai été surclassé à l'unité 27 qui était très calme et qui valait l'argent. Le surclassement incluait une piscine privée, ce qui était agréable. Le seul inconvénient est que la section adulte de la piscine a plus d'enfants que d'adultes. La plage elle-même était très relaxante et la plongée avec masque et tuba à la plage était remarquable avec beaucoup de poissons à voir. La nourriture était bonne et les salades étaient excellentes.

good resort truly enjoyed my stay at the resort. Upgraded to unit 27 which was very quiet and worth the money. Upgrade included a private pool which was nice. The only draw back is that the adult section of the pool has more kids than adults. The beach itself was very relaxing and the snorkeling at the beach was remarkable with lots of fish to see. The food was good and salads where excellent.

Sol Turquesa Beach: Merveilleux moment !

L'hôtel et la chambre dans laquelle nous avons séjourné étaient magnifiques. J'ai adoré la vue sur l'océan bleu turquoise depuis les piscines situées à l'étage supérieur Nous avons adoré nager sur la plage avec nos masques. Et c'était génial d'avoir le choix entre toutes les piscines. Il y a beaucoup d'escaliers dans ce complexe, mais nous avons aimé faire de l'exercice. Le personnel était extrêmement sympathique et a rendu notre séjour encore plus agréable. La nourriture était correcte, j'ai pr [... lire plus]is soin d'apporter du beurre de cacahuète et du ketchup. Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour ici !

Wonderful time! The hotel and the room we stayed in were lovely. I absolutely loved the views from the pools on the upper level - just gorgeous seeing the turquoise blue ocean! We loved swimming at the beach with our masks on. And it was great having all the different pools to choose from. There are lots of stairs at this resort, but we liked the exercise. The staff were extremely friendly and made our stay that much better. The food was ok, I made sure to bring peanut butter and ketchup. We really enjoyed our stay here!

La chambre n'était pas prête à l'arrivée, il y avait déjà des clients dans la première chambre, les deux suivantes sentaient la moisissure - pas de balcon, les chambres n'étaient pas conformes aux réservations, on voulait nous faire payer un supplément pour un surclassement dans une villa, nous avons fini dans une "caserne" (sentant la moisissure mais située au rez-de-chaussée et disposant donc d'un petit patio - on ne pouvait même pas voir l'océan depuis la chambre). Nourriture horrible - tous  [... lire plus]les plats sont à la même température - température de la chambre ! Personnel agréable et serviable.

Disappointing! Room not ready on arrival, first room they sent us to had guests staying there already, next 2 were musty smelling- no balcony, rooms not as booked, wanted us to pay extra to upgrade to a villa, ended up in 'barracks' (musty smelling but on main floor so had small patio - couldn't even see ocean from room. Food horrible - all food same temperature -room temperature! Staff pleasant and helpful.

Nous aimons l'AC pour de nombreuses raisons. Il dispose d'une plage magnifique juste en face de l'hôtel. Il y a un grand choix de restaurants et de bars. Sortir de l'hôtel pour se déplacer dans la région est totalement sûr. Le marché voisin est génial. Voilà autant de bonnes raisons d'y aller. Voici quelques informations à connaître pour ne pas être déçu. Il y a beaucoup de piscines, mais elles ne sont pas toutes propres/ouvertes en permanence. Il y a un problème de sécurité concernant le vol d' [... lire plus]argent et de biens. Nous nous sommes fait voler une somme d'argent importante par les femmes de chambre, avec la preuve que l'hôtel ne faisait rien pour nous aider. Nous avons rencontré un couple qui s'est également fait voler des objets dans le coffre-fort de sa chambre. Je dis qu'il faut faire preuve de discernement et essayer de garder tous les objets de valeur sur soi à tout moment. Il y a beaucoup de personnes formidables qui travaillent dans cet hôtel, mais le personnel d'accueil est généralement épouvantable. Le service à la clientèle n'est pas un point fort.

Resort is what you would expect from a 3 star. We like CA for many reasons. It has an amazing beach right in front of the resort. There are loads of restaurants and bars to choose from. Leaving the resort to travel in the area is totally safe. The market next door is awesome. Those are all great reasons to go. Here are a few things you should know so as not to be disappointed. There are plenty of pools but not all are clean/open all the time. There is a security issue regarding money/belongings theft. We have had a significant amount of money stolen by maids, with proof the resort would do nothing to help us. We met a couple that had things stolen from their safe in their room too. I say you have to use your own judgement and try to carry all valuables on you at all times. There are many great people that work there but the front of house staff are usually terrible. Customer service is not a strong point.

Playa Costa Verde: Ma maison loin de chez moi

Dès la première fois que mon mari et moi avons séjourné dans ce centre de villégiature, nous avons dit que nous aimerions y revenir. L'endroit est relaxant et facile à vivre, la nourriture est bonne. Les gens sont tellement les gens sont tellement amicaux et bien disposés que certains sont devenus des amis permanents. Nous y sommes retournés et nous avons apprécié autant que la première fois. J'y suis retourné avec mon fils et sa femme et j'envisage d'y emmener mon frère pour sa première expérie [... lire plus]nce dans un "tout compris" dans un tout-inclus.

My home away from home From the first time my husband and I stayed at this resort we said we would like to come back. Relaxing and easygoing, the food was good. The people have such friendly and good dispositions that some have become permanent friends. We did go back again and we enjoyed it just as much as the first time. I went again with my son and his wife and am planning to take my brother for his first experience in an all-inclusive.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour ici - tout le monde était très gentil. Je reviendrais certainement ici et je l'ai recommandé à plusieurs personnes. Il y a beaucoup de choses à faire et tout le monde est très gentil et arrangeant.

Absolutely wonderful Thouroughly enjoyed out stay here - everyone was super nice. Would definitely return here again and have re commended it to a number of people. A lot of things to do and everyone very nice and accommodating.

Brisas Guardalavaca: Agréablement surpris.

J'avais déjà séjourné dans cet hôtel il y a quelques années et j'ai été agréablement surprise de voir les améliorations et les excellents choix de restaurants et de piscines/plages. Cette fois-ci, mon ami et moi avons séjourné dans les Villas, tranquilles et à l'écart, mais proches de la plage et de la piscine de la Villa. Cela vaut bien les 40 dollars supplémentaires par semaine si vous voulez un endroit plus calme. Les spectacles nocturnes étaient corrects dans l'ensemble, mais le spectacle de [... lire plus] gymnastique aquatique était spectaculaire - le meilleur que j'ai vu depuis longtemps. La nourriture était bien meilleure que ce dont je me souvenais pour Cuba - il y a eu de grandes améliorations. Le service au bar et au restaurant était excellent et le personnel très amical, à l'exception de la blonde de la réception au comptoir d'enregistrement de la Villa. D'autres commentaires ont fait état de son manque de courtoisie et de son attitude peu serviable, ce que nous avons également constaté. Notre vol est reparti tard dans la nuit, nous avons donc eu toute la journée au centre de villégiature. L'attribution d'une chambre pour chacun d'entre nous à changer avant de quitter le complexe était terrible ! Il faut absolument améliorer ce point. D'autres complexes hôteliers disposent désormais d'une douche et d'un vestiaire spécialement conçus à cet effet, et cela fonctionne très bien. Il y avait des chats sur les lieux, et comme je suis allergique aux chats et que je ne veux pas qu'ils s'approchent de moi, cela a définitivement mis un frein à mon séjour. Les clients les nourrissaient, ce qui les incitait à traîner dans les salles à manger. La plupart des centres de villégiature que j'ai visités n'ont pas d'animaux dans leurs locaux - tout le monde ne les aime pas. Sinon, ce fut un séjour agréable et relaxant.

Pleasantly surprised. I had stayed at this hotel years ago and was pleasantly surprised to see the upgrades and the excellent choices for restaurants and pools/beaches. This time my friend and I stayed in the Villas--quiet and out of the way and close to the beach and the Villa pool. Well worth the $40 per week extra cost if you want a quieter spot. The show at night were ok overall, but the water gymnastics show was spectacular--best I have seen in a while. Food was much better than I remembered for Cuba--big improvements here. Bar and restaurant service was excellent and staff was very friendly, with the exception of the front desk blonde lady at the Villa check in counter. Other reviews have commented on her curtness and unhelpful attitude and we found this as well. Our flight left for home late at night, so we had the whole day at the resort. The allocation of one room for all of us to change before we left the resort was terrible! This definitely needs improvement. Other resorts now have a shower and locker room especially for this purpose and this works very well. There were cats on the premises, and since I am allergic to cats and don't want the anywhere near me, this definitely put a damper on my stay there. Guests were feeding them which encouraged them to hang around the dining areas. Most resorts I have visited do not have animals on the premises--not everyone likes them. Otherwise a great and relaxing stay.

Exemple : Qu'avez-vous pensé de cet hôtel ? cet hôtel (terrain, parties communes, chambres, restauration, caractéristiques, etc.) l'hôtel a été excellent pour la deuxième fois, cela faisait 20 ans que je n'avais pas fait ce voyage j'avais hâte d'y retourner, le voyage a été tout aussi excitant la deuxième fois, Encore une fois exceptionnel.

outstanding service with smile always. Example: What did you think about  this hotel? (grounds, public areas, rooms, dining, features, etc.) topnotch for the second time for me .It was 20 years since my first trip and could not wait to get back,trip was just as exciting second time around, Again outstanding.

Sol Turquesa Beach: Riu fait un excellent travail !

C'était notre 6ème voyage à Holguin, Cuba et au (Riu) Playa Turquesa Resort. Riu a repris la gestion du complexe il y a deux ans et il se trouve que nous y étions à ce moment-là. Il est certain qu'ils montrent leur engagement à gérer le complexe avec les améliorations que nous avons pu remarquer. Le nouveau chef cuisinier a revu les menus et la nourriture était délicieuse. Ils sont également en train de rénover une grande partie du complexe. Nous avons passé un séjour fabuleux. Le personnel est  [... lire plus]exceptionnel et c'est pourquoi nous continuons à y retourner ! La plage, les piscines et les activités offrent de nombreuses possibilités. De plus, les excursions quotidiennes (en supplément) valent la peine d'être faites. Cuba vaut la peine d'être vue. Sa culture est étonnante. Et je recommande personnellement le Riu Playa Turquesa comme un endroit merveilleux où séjourner.

Riu doing a excellent job! This was our 6th trip to Holguin, Cuba and to the (Riu) Playa Turquesa Resort. Riu took over the running of the resort 2 yrs ago and we just happened to be there at that time. They are certainly showing their commitment to running the resort with the upgrades that were very noticeably to us. The new head chef has overhauled the menu's and the food was delicious. They are also renovating much of the resort. We had a fabulous time. The staff in outstanding and that is why we keep going back! The beach, pools and activities give you lots to do. Plus the daily excursions ($ extra), are worth taking. Cuba is worth seeing. It has amazing culture. And, I personally recommend Riu Playa Turquesa as a wonderful place to stay.

Aston Costa Verde Beach Resort: Non recommandé

Personnellement, je ne recommanderais pas ce complexe à moins que l'on ne se soucie de rien d'autre que d'aller boire. La nourriture était assez mélangée et les assiettes étaient sales, il était donc très difficile de la manger. Si vous ne mangez pas beaucoup de pain, vous le ferez ici car c'était le seul aliment qui semblait sûr à manger. Les gens étaient sympathiques et c'était le meilleur point. Dépensez quelques dollars de plus et allez ailleurs.

Not recommended I personally would not recommend this resort unless one doesn't care about anything but to go and drink. Food was quite blend and plates were dirty so it was very difficult to eat it. If you don't eat much bread you will here because that was the only food that seem safe to eat. People were friendly and that was the best part. Spend couple of more $ and go somewhere else.

Aston Costa Verde Beach Resort: Excellente situation !

Le Blau Coste Verde se trouve sur une belle plage, mais le complexe est très fatigué (du moins la partie ancienne). Notre douche crachait de l'eau dans toutes les directions, ce qui nous obligeait à passer la serpillière. Les rideaux tombaient des tringles, etc. Cela dit, nous avons toujours trouvé quelque chose à manger. La piscine était agréable et la plage absolument magnifique. Nous étions là pour le soleil et le sable, donc cela nous convenait parfaitement.

Great location! The Blau Coste Verde is on a beautiful beach, but the resort is veeeerrrrry tired (at least the old part). Our shower spewed water out in all directions, making it necessary to mop up afterward. Curtains were falling off the rod, etc. That said, we always found something we wanted to eat. The pool was nice and the beach was absolutely beautiful. We were there for sun and sand, so it worked just fine for us.

Great Deal......and a surprisingly great vacation! Great resort with a fantastic beach!! The price was exceptional so our expectations were low...but it was really a great vacation. The staff was warm and friendly, and the setting was wonderful! Will be going back for sure!

Playa Pesquero: fablous resort # 1

Tout est beau, les chambres sont propres, les repas sont super et variés et le personnel est comme une famille. Beaucoup de chaises à la piscine et à la plage des serviettes propres à 2 endroits et les boissons sont super bonnes.

Everything is beautiful rooms are clean the meals are super and a good variety and the staff is like family. Lot's of chairs at the pool and the beach clean towels at 2 locations and the drinks are super fine.

Sol Rio de Luna y Mares: Un moment inoubliable et des gens formidables

Très propre. Le personnel est courtois, expérimenté et très arrangeant. Nous avons fêté l'anniversaire de mon mari deux années de suite, avec un gâteau d'anniversaire fait sur mesure par l'hôtel. La plage est fabuleuse.

Great Time & Great People Very clean. The staff were courteous, experienced and very accommodating. We have celebrated my husband's birthday two years in a row, with a birthday cake custom made for him by the resort. The beach area is fabulous.

Playa Pesquero: Notre maison loin de chez nous

Nous sommes allés 8 fois à Playa Pesquero. Nous y sommes allés en couple, avec nos enfants, avec un parent âgé et avec nos amis. À chaque fois, nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Nous adorons ce complexe. La plage est magnifique, les employés sont merveilleux et la nourriture est excellente, avec de nombreux choix. Le complexe est vaste et offre de nombreuses possibilités de se promener, mais des navettes sont également disponibles.

Our Home Away from Home We have been to Playa Pesquero 8 times. We have traveled there as a couple, with our children, with an elderly parent and with our friends. Each time we have had a terrific time. We absolutely love the resort. The beach is beautiful, the workers are wonderful and the food is great with many options to choose from. The resort is large with lots of opportunities to fit in a good walk, but shuttles are available as well.

Paradisus Rio De Oro: Très belle station.

C'était notre quatrième séjour au Paradisus Rio De Oro et nous avons été accueillis avec une serviette fraîche et une boisson fraîche. Nous avons séjourné au Royal Service. La nourriture était comme toujours délicieuse et les employés sont tout sourire et rien n'est trop difficile pour eux. Le Royal Service est très calme et relaxant, si vous aimez les divertissements, vous serez mieux dans le complexe lui-même. Nous avons hâte d'y retourner et de profiter de la gentillesse du peuple cubain.

Beautiful resort. This was our 4th stay at the Paradisus Rio De Oro and we were welcomed with a nice cool towel and cold drink. We stayed at the Royal Service . The food was as always delicious and the employees are all smiles and nothing is too much trouble for them. The Royal Service is very quiet and relaxing, if you like more entertainment then you are better of at the resort itself. We can't wait to go back and enjoy the friendliness of the Cuban people.
