Bahia Principe Explore La Romana: ALLER AILLEURS....

Ce complexe est propre, le personnel est sympathique, la nourriture est correcte. Mais ce que les photos ne montrent pas, c'est que l'on peut voir une usine et de la fumée industrielle depuis la plage de ce complexe. Si j'avais su que cela serait visible, je ne serais jamais allé dans ce complexe. L'eau est également trouble et n'est pas d'un bleu parfait. Nous nous sommes également fait piéger par une présentation sur la multipropriété, une perte de temps. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.... This resort is clean, staff are friendly, food is ok But what the pictures don't show you is visible from the beach of this resort is a factory, and industrial smoke. If I had known that this would be visible I would have never gone to this resort. The water is also murky, not that nice blue that you want. We were also suckered into a time share presentation, waste of time. go somewhere else, learn from my mistake. Be warned the pictures do not show you the whole, real picture...if you are paying thousands of dollars to go on a resort vacation go somewhere else.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Grandes vacances

La plage est magnifique ! L'eau est cristalline. Le temps était fantastique. Très joli centre de villégiature. Les jardins sont très bien entretenus. Nous avons séjourné dans le bâtiment 66, près du hall principal. La piscine et la plage sont à quelques pas. Nous avons apprécié la musique et les divertissements. Le personnel est formidable. Il est très amical et travaille très dur pour que tout soit organisé. Nous avons passé un excellent moment !

Great Vacation The beach is gorgeous! Water is crystal clear. Weather was fantastic. Very pretty resort. The gardens were very well kept. We stayed in building 66 close to the main lobby. Just a short walk to the pool and the beach. We enjoyed the music and the entertainment. The staff are amazing. Very friendly and they work very hard to keep everything organized. Had a great time!

Je reviens d'un séjour d'une semaine dans le magnifique complexe de luxe Bahia Principe Esmeralda. Ce complexe est de loin un luxe, avec des majordomes et des serveurs extrêmement agréables - tout le monde était si gentil et nous accueillait toujours avec le sourire. Toutes les installations étaient impeccables. Nous avons passé un moment merveilleux et nous reviendrons sans aucun doute.

Beautiful resort Just returned from a week stay at the beautiful Luxury Bahia Principe Esmeralda resort. This resort is a luxury by far, with extremely pleasant butlers, waiters - everyone was so kind and always greeted us with a smile. All the facilities were kept immaculate. We had a wonderful time and would definitely return.

Bahia Principe Explore El Portillo: Génial !

Le Grand Bahia Principe El Portillo était extraordinaire. Le personnel était très aimable et serviable ; le terrain était magnifiquement entretenu ; la nourriture était excellente. Nous nous sommes beaucoup amusés avec l'équipe d'animation. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel.

Awesome! The Grand Bahia Principe El Portillo was amazing. The staff was very friendly and helpful; the grounds were beautifully kept; the food was great. We had great fun engaging with the Animation Team. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Bahia Principe Escape Bouganville: Le bon, le mauvais et le laid

Le bon C'était un endroit génial pour séjourner, des excellents buffets aux cartes parfaites Le mauvais Le service au bar était aléatoire. Parfois, il n'y avait pas de bière, de citron vert ou même de vodka au bord de la grande piscine. Très irrégulier. La laideur Le dernier jour de notre séjour, un nouveau groupe venait d'arriver. Quel groupe ! Un type dansait sur le bar de la piscine, des filles enlevaient le haut de leur maillot de bain et rien n'était fait. Nous avons fait l'objet  [... lire plus]d'une discussion. Quelques-uns d'entre nous ont quitté l'hôtel pour se rendre dans une piscine plus calme, mais malheureusement, celle-ci est devenue bruyante. Nous étions très mécontents et heureux de partir le lendemain. Nous ne retournerons pas à l'hôtel à cause de l'horreur.

The good the bad the ugly The Good This was an awesome place to stay, from its excellent buffets to the perfect a la cartes The Bad The service at the bar was hit and miss. Sometimes there was no beer, or limes or even vodka at the big pool. Very in consistent. The Ugly The last day that we were there, a new group had just arrived. Boy what a group. From a guy dancing on top of the swim up bar to girls taking their swim suit tops off and nothing was being done. We were discussed. A bunch of us left and went to the quiet pool, but unfortunately that pool became rowdy. We were very unhappy and glad we were leaving the next day. We will not be going back because of the UGLY.

Bahia Principe Explore El Portillo: Beautiful Resort

Première fois à Samana et dans toute la République dominicaine. Nous y retournerons certainement. Le Grand Bahia Principe El Portillo est magnifique. Les chambres sont propres, la nourriture était bonne, j'ai adoré la piscine et la plage. Le personnel était divertissant. Nous avons eu de la chance avec le temps, pas de pluie. Nous avons eu un petit problème avec notre chambre mais nous avons été surclassés dans une suite junior après qu'ils aient corrigé le problème. Je retournerais sans  [... lire plus]aucun doute dans ce complexe.

First time to Samana and to anywhere in the Dominican Republic. Would certainly go back again. The Grand Bahia Principe El Portillo is beautiful. Clean rooms, food was good, loved the pool and the beach. The staff were entertaining. Lucked out with the weather, no rain. We had a little mix up with our room but we were upgraded to a junior suite after they corrected the issue. Would definitely go to this resort again.

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: UN CENTRE DE VILLÉGIATURE FANTASTIQUE

Nous venons de rentrer d'un séjour d'une semaine au luxueux Bahia Principe Runaway Bay. Nous avions l'impression d'être au paradis. Le complexe était d'une propreté exceptionnelle et le terrain était magnifiquement entretenu. Le personnel a été merveilleux du début à la fin. Si j'avais un reproche à faire, ce serait au Luxury Lobby Bar - ils étaient toujours à court de Bailey's et de Rum Cream. C'est le seul endroit où j'ai trouvé le personnel moins amical ou moins accommodant. Nou [... lire plus]s irons certainement passer nos vacances dans un autre complexe de luxe de Bahia et nous n'hésiterons pas à retourner à Runaway Bay.

FANTASTIC RESORT We just came back from a week long stay at Luxury Bahia Principe Runaway Bay. We felt like we were in paradise. The resort was exceptionally clean and the grounds were beautifully maintained. The staff were wonderful from beginning to end. If I had one complaint it would be the Luxury Lobby Bar - they were always running out of Bailey's and Rum Cream. This would be the only spot that I found the staff to be less than friendly or accommodating. We will definitely vacation at another Luxury Bahia resort and we wouldn't hesitate to return to Runaway Bay.

Cayo Levantado Resort: Grand centre de villégiature !!!

Service remarquable, chambres exceptionnelles et personnel de l'hôtel attentif. La plage était assez venteuse la plupart des jours mais l'eau était très chaude. La seule suggestion que je ferais à la direction de l'hôtel serait de garder le bar principal ouvert au-delà de 23 heures et le service de chambre complet (vin ou bière) n'était pas disponible, mais moyennant un coût supplémentaire, de sorte que ce n'est pas tout à fait tout compris. Mais l'expérience globale a été "Excellente"

Great Resort!!! Outstanding service, exceptional rooms and attentive hotel staff. Beach was rather windy most days but water was very warm. The only suggestion I would make to the hotel management would be to keep the main bar open beyond 11pm and full room service(wine or beer) was not available but for an extra cost so it's not fully all inclusive. But the overall experience was "Excellente"

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Très belle

Le complexe est magnifique. Bien entretenu et propre. La chambre était propre et confortable. Le personnel est très aimable et serviable. La nourriture au buffet était bonne mais le restaurant était très fréquenté et il n'y avait pas assez de personnel pour suivre. Les repas à la carte étaient un peu décevants. Les piscines étaient très belles et le service de tramway était excellent. Mais je dois dire que le fait que l'hôtel ne soit pas sur la plage ou même à distance de marche de l'océan a été [... lire plus] un gros inconvénient pour moi. Je ne reviendrai jamais dans ce complexe.

Very Nice The resort is beautiful. Well maintained and clean. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food at the buffet was good but the restaurant was very busy and there was not enough staff to keep up. The "A la carte" meals were a little disappointing. The pool areas were very nice and the tram service was great. But I have to say that the resort not being on the beach or even within walking distance from the ocean was a huge downfall for me. I will never return to this resort.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Grand centre de villégiature

Nous avons apprécié notre semaine grâce à notre agent de voyage. Ce centre de villégiature est formidable, nous étions dans le centre de villégiature réservé aux adultes. La nourriture et le service étaient excellents. Nous avons fait 3 excursions et elles étaient géniales pour voir le pays et la façon dont ils vivent.

Great resort We enjoyed our week thanks ro our travel agent. This resort is great we were on thr abults only resort. The food and service was great. We took 3 excursions and they were awesome to see the contry and the way they live.

Le mariage sur la plage a été bien exécuté. Je recommanderai absolument ce centre de villégiature et il est en haut de ma liste pour un prochain voyage

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Moyen au mieux !

Ce complexe était très beau et propre et la nourriture était délicieuse, quant au service, il était très décevant. Nous avions un grand groupe de personnes et plus de la moitié de notre groupe de plus de 50 personnes a eu des problèmes avec leurs chambres et/ou le service. Et personne n'a semblé se soucier de nos problèmes, ils nous ont juste dit d'aller dans un autre hall pour obtenir de l'aide. L'hôtel est bien trop grand et trop occupé pour accueillir correctement tous les clients.

Average at best! This resort was very nice and clean and the food was delicious, as for the service, it was very disappointing. We had a large group of people and more than half of our 50plus group had problems with there rooms and/or service. And no one seemed to care about any of our issues, they just told us to go to a different lobby to get help. It's way too big and too busy to properly accodate all the guests.

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Centre de villégiature moyen

Le terrain était très bien entretenu. L'hôtel est immense et il faut prendre des navettes pour aller de Tulum à Coba et vice-versa. Elles n'étaient pas très fiables. Nous devions généralement attendre 45 minutes. La nourriture était assez bonne. Le service au buffet était excellent . Le service à la carte était très lent. Nous avions réservé à 9h30 et ils n'étaient pas occupés à cette heure-là. Il fallait attendre 30 minutes avant qu'ils ne viennent prendre une commande de boisson. Ils étaie [... lire plus]nt plus occupés à débarrasser les autres tables. Au bar, il n'y avait qu'un seul serveur qui travaillait, les files d'attente étaient donc toujours longues. Nous avons passé une semaine relaxante et globalement agréable. Nous avons séjourné deux fois au Bahia en Jamaïque et ce Bahia n'arrive pas à la cheville du Bahia jamaïcain

Average resort The grounds were very nicely kept. Huge resort you needed to take shuttles to get to and from tulum to coba. They were not very reliable.we usually had to wait 45 min. The food was pretty good. The service at the buffet was excellent . At the a la cartes it was very slow. We had 9:30 reservations and they were not busy at that time. It would take 30 min before they would come over to take a drink order. They were more concerned with clearing the other tables. At the bars there was only 1 bar tender working, so lines were always long. We had a relaxing and overall good week. We stayed at the Bahia in Jamaica twice and this Bahia doesn't come close to the quality of the Jamaican one

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Un centre de villégiature extraordinaire - j'y retournerais volontiers

Fantastique .............Le niveau d'Akumal est supérieur à celui de tous les autres centres de villégiature où nous sommes allés - le personnel est amical, courtois et extrêmement serviable. Le transport à l'intérieur de l'hôtel était excellent et nous a permis de nous rendre aux restaurants depuis notre chambre. Merci à Cindy Callaghan de nous avoir réservé cet hôtel

Amazing Resort - would go back again Fantastic .............The standard at Akumal was superior to any other resort we have been to - the staff were friendly, curtious and extremely helpful. Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Un lieu idéal pour se marier

Je me suis mariée dans ce centre de villégiature. Ils l'ont organisé très joliment et à temps. C'est un endroit idéal pour séjourner. Attention, ils ne se précipitent pas pour faire les choses. Il a fallu un certain temps pour obtenir ma chambre le premier jour. De plus, les heures de nettoyage de la chambre ne sont jamais cohérentes. 9h30 un jour, 17h le lendemain.

Great place to marry I got married at this resort. They set it up very nicely and on time. Great place to stay. Do note, they will not rush to get things done. Took a while to get my room on the first day. Also cleaning times for the room is never consistent. 9:30am one day, 5:00pm the next.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Une belle station balnéaire qui a pris de l'âge

C'est la troisième fois que je visite ce complexe et je suis toujours aussi étonné de sa beauté. Le resort est passé à 7 au total. Ils ont tellement travaillé sur les nouvelles sections (Fantasia, Turquoise) qu'ils n'ont pas fait d'efforts sur le resort original (Punta Cana). Nous y étions du 31 mars au 7 avril pour un mariage. Nous étions 18 personnes au total et il semble y avoir un problème avec toutes les chambres. Comme il s'agissait d'un mariage, on aurait pu penser que toutes les [... lire plus] chambres seraient réunies, mais au lieu de cela, elles étaient éparpillées dans tout l'hôtel. Pour notre chambre, une demande spéciale a été envoyée par e-mail pour nous aider à célébrer notre lune de miel et mon anniversaire et rien n'a été fait pour reconnaître la célébration. Le réfrigérateur de notre chambre ne fonctionnait pas du tout correctement et une fois que le problème a été signalé, il a été réparé immédiatement. Malheureusement pour mon frère, son réfrigérateur ne fonctionnait pas non plus et il a fallu 5 jours pour qu'il soit réparé. Les années précédentes, les clients qui revenaient recevaient un bracelet de couleur différente et avaient la possibilité de prendre leur petit-déjeuner au restaurant Santa Fe au lieu d'aller au buffet principal dans le hall. Ils ne le font plus et devaient se rendre dans le hall principal tous les jours. Un soir par semaine, une soirée Caraïbes est organisée dans la cour principale. Pour y participer, il faut payer un supplément de 15 $ par personne. Cela ne nous a pas plu et nous avons fait demi-tour pour retourner dans le hall. Nous n'avons pas pu utiliser la baignoire à remous car le bouchon ne fonctionnait pas. La fixation murale à côté du lit était cassée en deux et ne fonctionnait pas.

Beautiful Resort - showing its age This has been my third time visiting this resort and it still amazes me how beautiful it is. The resort has now grown to 7 in total. They have put in so much work into the new sections (Fantasia, Turquoise) that they are not putting any efforts into the original resort (Punta Cana). We were there from March 31 to April 7th for a wedding. In total there were 18 people and there seem to be an issue with all of the rooms. Being there for a wedding we would think that all of the rooms would be together but instead were scattered all over the resort. For our room a special email request was sent to help us celebrate our honeymoon and my birthday and nothing was done to acknowledge the celebration. Our fridge in our room did not work properly at all and once it was documented it was fixed right away. Unfortunately for my brother his fridge also did not work and it took 5 days to get his fixed. In previous years if you were a returning guess you received a different color bracelet and you had the option of eating breakfast at the Santa Fe restaurant instead of going up to the lobby to go to the main Buffet. They are no longer doing this and had to go to the main lobby everyday. One night during the week they have a carribean night in the main court yard. In order to participate in this you have to pay an extra $15.00 per person. We were not happy with this and turned around and went back to the lobby. The resort is starting to show its age and things were constantly breaking. we weren't able to use the whirlpool tub as the stopper wouldn't work. Wall fixture beside the bed was broken in half and did not work.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Excellent centre de vacances pour les familles

Le complexe dispose d'un beau terrain et le personnel a été très accueillant à l'arrivée. Nous avons voyagé avec un enfant de 3 ans et un autre de 8 mois et nous avons été très satisfaits des aménagements proposés à notre famille. La plage : Nous avons passé beaucoup de temps au parc aquatique et à la plage. L'eau était un peu rocailleuse mais cela n'a pas gêné notre expérience et nous avons appris facilement où nous placer pour éviter les rochers et patauger dans un fond sablonneux. Beau [... lire plus]coup d'ombre sur la plage également. Chambres : Les chambres étaient propres et le ménage agréable. Un peu d'usure, mais rien que nous ne puissions ignorer. Le seul compliment est que la moquette dans les couloirs a connu des jours meilleurs et devrait probablement être enlevée. Nous avions un grand balcon et l'emplacement était parfait dans la section 18000. Nourriture : La nourriture au buffet était correcte. Nous avons toujours trouvé quelques bonnes choses à manger mais cela devenait parfois répétitif. Nous avons toujours trouvé une variété qui convenait à tous les membres du groupe. Nous avons essayé 3 des restaurants de spécialités... italien, Teppanyaki, français. Nous avons eu de bien meilleurs repas dans ces restaurants et nous recommanderions vivement l'un d'entre eux. Boissons : Les bars n'étaient pas tous bien approvisionnés, mais nous avons toujours pu obtenir une boisson. Il y avait beaucoup d'options et nous n'avons pas eu de problème. Divertissements : Comme nous avions de jeunes enfants, nous n'avons pas vu beaucoup de divertissements nocturnes. Nous avons participé à la soirée limbo et à la fête de la plage par l'intermédiaire du club pour enfants et c'était amusant. Nous avons essayé de faire des olympiades sur la plage. Le personnel était bon avec les enfants mais semblait un peu désorganisé. Beaucoup d'attente pour décider quoi faire ensuite. Nous recommanderions cet hôtel à d'autres familles avec de jeunes enfants.

Great Family Resort The resort had beautiful grounds and staff were very welcoming upon arrival. We travelled with 3 year old and 8 month old and were very pleased at the amenities offered for our family. Beach: We spent a lot of time at the waterpark and the beach. The water was a little rocky but didn't hinder our experience at all and learned easily where to situate to avoid rocks and wade in sandy bottom. Lots of shade on the beach too. Rooms: Rooms were clean and housekeeping was pleasant. A little wear and tear but nothing that we couldn't overlook. The only compliant is the carpet in hallways has seen better days and probably should go. We had a great balcony and location was perfect in the 18000 section. Food: The food at the buffet was ok. We always found a few good things to eat but did become repetitive at times. We always found variety that suited everyone in the party. We tried 3 of the specialty restaurants...Italian, Teppanyaki, French. We had much better meals at these restaurants and would highly recommend any of them. Drinks: Not all bars were properly stocked but was always able to get a drink. They had lots of options and found no issue. Entertainment: As we had young kids we didn't see much of nighttime entertainment. We did the limbo night and beach party through the kids club and they were fun. We tried doing beach Olympics. The staff were good with kids but seemed a bit disorganized. Lots of waiting to decide what to do next. We would recommend this to other families with young kids.
