Des vacances géniales

Nous avons séjourné 10 jours au Memories Caribe et avons passé des vacances très relaxantes ! Le personnel dans tous les domaines de ce complexe était SUPER amical, y compris les agents d'entretien du terrain. La plage était incroyable... on peut marcher des kilomètres le long de la côte ! Très beau complexe.

Awesome Vacation We stayed 10 days at Memories Caribe and had a very relaxing vacation! The staff in all areas of this resort were SUPER friendly, including the groundskeepers. The beach was incredible...you can walk for miles along the coast! Beautiful resort.

Comme à la maison

Je viens de rentrer de Memories Caribe Cayo Coco. Même s'il a plu et qu'il y avait du vent presque tous les jours, nous avons quand même nagé et nous nous sommes amusés. La nourriture était bonne et les boissons froides. La meilleure partie de l'hôtel était le personnel. Gentil, attentif et attentionné. Ils nous ont raconté leur vie et nous ont apporté des fruits de leur jardin. Nous avions l'impression d'être avec notre famille élargie. Nous avons échangé des cadeaux, des accolades et des cour [... lire plus]riels. Nous y retournerons certainement. Cela me manque déjà.

Like home Just got back from Memories Caribe Cayo Coco. Even though it rained and was windy almost every day we still swam and had fun. The food was good and the drinks cold. The best part of the hotel was the staff. Kind, caring and attentive. Sharing their life stories with us and bringing us fruit from their gardens. We felt like we were with our extended family. We exchanged gifts, hugs and e-mails. Definitely will be going there again. Miss it already.

CENTRE DE VACANCES POUR LES MAUVAIS JOURS

Tout a commencé avec les changements d'horaires et de vols de Sunwing, j'ai payé pour que ma femme ait une place élite 240.00 pour être rassemblée dans l'avion 41/2 mois avant de partir, j'ai été déplacé sur un vol sans escale, j'ai dû passer la douane 2 fois dans 2 aéroports à Cuba, je veux le remboursement des 240.00. La climatisation des chambres est réglée sur 80°F, on ne peut pas la changer, l'eau est chaude s'il y a de l'eau, on ne donne pas de pourboire à la femme de chambre, on n'obti [... lire plus]ent pas le service, la nourriture est buffle, jour 1 poisson, jour 2 riz, jour 3 poulet BQ, jour 11 cuisse de porc, ils remuaient la nourriture et la mettaient dehors le jour suivant. La piscine était encore nettoyée tous les jours à 10 heures. Nous étions 8 amis et nous sommes tous tombés malades. L'endroit devient vieux et délabré. Nous sommes allés dans ce complexe 3 années de suite et nous n'avons vu aucune amélioration, il est en train de se dégrader.

BAD TIME RESORT It all started with Sunwing time and flight changes, paid for the wife elite seating 240.00 to be to gather on plane 41/2 months before leaving got bumped non-stop flight forget that had to go though customs 2 times at 2 airports in Cuba I want the 240.00 back. The resort rooms A/C set at 80f you can't change it, hot water if there was any water at all, don't tip the maid you don't get the service, food buff.day1 fish day2 rice day3 BQ chicken Next 11 days pork leg, they would stir up the food and put it out the next day. The pool they where still cleaning everyday at 10 a.m. There was 8 of us friends we all got sick (runs).The place is getting old and run down. We have gone to this resort 3 years in a row and have seen no improvements, it's going down hill.

Pas le meilleur

Tout d'abord, le complexe est en cours de construction et de rénovation. S'ils réparaient ce qui ne va pas avec les unités dans lesquelles les clients séjournaient en premier et qui payaient maintenant, je serais prêt à leur donner une bonne critique. Mais je vais donner une mauvaise critique. Je viens de rentrer après 14 jours passés du 20 octobre au 3 novembre. Tout d'abord, les 3/4 du personnel sont les meilleures personnes que j'ai jamais rencontrées, ils travaillent dur et essaient d' [... lire plus]aider s'ils le peuvent si quelque chose ne va pas. C'est la deuxième fois que nous venons ici et la dernière fois que nous venons. Nous avons réservé notre voyage le 1er juillet et nous avons demandé à avoir un étage inférieur, mais quand nous sommes arrivés, ils ont utilisé le deuxième étage et ma femme ne peut pas monter les escaliers, ils ont dit que peut-être dans 2 ou 3 jours ils pourraient faire quelque chose pour moi. Je leur ai dit qui allait la porter dans les escaliers. Heureusement, un jeune couple sympathique a entendu ce qui se passait et nous a offert sa chambre au rez-de-chaussée. Les nombreuses choses qui n'allaient pas étaient l'absence de pression d'eau dans la chambre, il était difficile de prendre une douche avec très peu d'eau. Ensuite, il n'y avait pas de moustiquaire sur les portes-fenêtres et les insectes étaient terribles cette fois-ci, alors prévoyez de l'insecticide. Ensuite, la nourriture, ils essaient de la cuisiner correctement mais ils ont besoin d'aide. Le barman du piano bar est le meilleur pour mélanger les boissons. Il y a d'autres choses à dire, mais nous n'y retournerons pas pour le moment.

Not the best First off the resort is under construction and remodeling. They are more worried about it then what is wrong or broken with the old section.if they fixed what is wrong withe the units that the guest were staying in first and who were paying now l would see giving them a great review. But l will give a bad review. L just came back after 14 days there from Oct 20 till November 3. First off 3/4 off the staff very best people l ever met ,they are hard working and and try very hard to help if they can if something is wrong . This is our second time here and our last we booked our trip in first of July and asked to have a bottom floor .but when we got there they had use on the second floor and my wife can,t do the stairs ,they said maybe in 2 or three days they could do something for me. I told them who was going to carry her up the stairs . Luckily a nice young couple who very checking in who heard what was going on and offered their room on the bottom to us l just wished we had got their names . The many things that were wrong were no water pressure in the room ,it hard to have a shower with very little water . Next there was no screen door on the patio doors and the bugs were bad this time so bring bug spray. Next is the food ,they try hard to cook it right but need help l feel. The bartender in the piano bar is the greatest in mixing drinks thou. Well there is more but not now we will not be back there .

Les réservations gênantes .... se poursuivent

Le complexe lui-même est merveilleux, tout comme la plupart des membres du personnel. La plage est absolument magnifique. Cette fois-ci, la nourriture était la meilleure que j'aie jamais mangée à Cuba. (3ème fois au Memories Caribe, 6ème fois à Cuba) Le problème que je rencontre concerne les possibilités de réservation. Au Memories Caribe, vous pouvez réserver le type de chambre que vous souhaitez. Comme j'y suis allé plusieurs fois, j'ai réservé et payé une chambre Superior Lakeview Balcony. [... lire plus] À mon arrivée, on m'a dit qu'elle n'était pas disponible car toutes les chambres étaient en cours de rénovation. J'ai expliqué que j'avais payé pour une chambre Superior Lakeview Balcony. La fille de la réception n'a cessé de s'excuser et de dire qu'elle ne pouvait rien faire. Elle nous a dit de parler au représentant de Sunwing. Ce que nous avons fait. Il nous a envoyé parler au Guest Services, qui s'est excusé, a expliqué que les chambres étaient en cours de rénovation, et elle a été carrément impolie et condescendante. Ce n'est que lorsque nous avons protesté et demandé à parler au directeur que nous avons obtenu une quelconque solution/compensation. Je comprends. Les chambres ont été approuvées pour rénovation après notre réservation (c'est du moins ce qu'a expliqué le directeur). À notre arrivée, nous aurions dû nous en rendre compte et ils auraient dû nous offrir une compensation ou un surclassement (ce qu'ils ont fait en fin de compte) à ce moment-là. J'aurais compris. Le fait que nous ayons dû parler à plusieurs personnes et que nous ayons obtenu la même réponse inacceptable a vraiment terni l'expérience de nos vacances. Je suis certain que nous n'étions PAS les seuls clients dans la même situation. Le surclassement de quelqu'un au Diamond Club n'est pas toujours la solution qu'ils semblent croire. Si j'avais voulu le Diamond Club au départ, j'aurais payé pour l'obtenir. Pour moi, il s'agit davantage d'une reconnaissance de leur part. S'ils l'avaient fait à notre arrivée, j'écrirais une critique totalement différente. Pire encore, je me connecte aujourd'hui à tripcentral et les chambres Superior Lakeview Balcony sont toujours en vente. Au prix de 80 $ de plus qu'une chambre Gardenview, qui est celle où la plupart des clients se retrouveront. TRÈS REGRETTABLE. Lorsque je qualifie le service de MAUVAIS, c'est à cause du bureau des arrivées et des services aux clients (bien que Julia et Ernesto aient fait tous les efforts possibles par la suite pour s'assurer que les choses se passaient bien). Personnel du bar, personnel du restaurant - service FANTASTIQUE.

Bothersome Booking .... still continue The resort itself is wonderful, as are most of the staff. The beach is absolutely gorgeous. The food this time around was the best I've ever had in Cuba. (3rd time at Memories Caribe, 6th time in Cuba) The issue I have is with what is available for booking. At Memories Caribe, you can book the type of room you want. Having been there several times, I booked and paid for a Superior Lakeview Balcony room. Upon arrival, I was told that it wasn't available as they were all under renovation. I explained that I paid for a Superior Lakeview Balcony room. The girl at the front desk kept aplogizing and saying there wasn't anything she could do. Told us to talk to the Sunwing rep. Which we did. He sent us to talk to Guest Services, who apologized, explained that the rooms were under renovation, and she was downright rude and condescending. It wasn't until we put up a fuss and asked to speak to the manager that we got any sort of resolution/compensation. I get it. The rooms were approved for renovation after we booked (or so the manager explained). THEN upon arrival, it should have been explained to us and they should have offered some sort of compensation/upgrade (which they ultimately did) at that time. That I would have understood. The fact that we had to talk to several people and got the same unacceptable response really dampened by vacation experience. I am positive that we were NOT the only guests in the same situation. Upgrading someone to Diamond Club isn't always the answer which they seem to feel it is. If I would have wanted Diamond Club to start with, I would have paid for it. To me it's more about the acknowledgement on their part. Had they done that upon our arrival, I would be writing a totally different review. Even worse, today I log into tripcentral and Superior Lakeview Balcony rooms are still for sale. At a cost of $80 more than a Gardenview room, which is where most guests will end up. VERY UNFORTUNATE. When I rate service as POOR - it's because of the arrival desk and guest services (although Julia and Ernesto did make every effort later to make sure things were going well). Bar staff, restaurant staff - FANTASTIC service.

Les meilleures vacances de tous les temps

Tout était beau, propre, coloré et organisé .Tout le personnel était très gentil et amical, les divertissements étaient incroyables .j'ai adoré la nourriture, la piscine et même ils nettoyaient la plage ! J'ai passé un très bon moment et j'y retournerai peut-être... Un grand merci à tous

Un peu déçu

Après être allés dans ce complexe en octobre dernier, nous avons trouvé que les chambres pendant notre séjour de cette année, entre le 28 septembre et le 6 octobre, étaient décevantes. La première chambre que nous avons eue affichait une température de 27 degrés et ne voulait pas descendre. J'ai demandé un changement de chambre et l'hôtel m'a ouvert deux chambres différentes et m'a demandé de choisir. Malgré ma demande d'une chambre avec une climatisation qui fonctionne, ils n'avaient pas la mo [... lire plus]indre idée. Je me suis retrouvé avec une chambre à 24 degrés tout le temps, pas ce que j'appelle acceptable et notez que nous avions 2 lits simples pour un couple marié. La plage est magnifique, comme toujours. La nourriture est assez bonne pour Cuba. L'ouragan Matthew est passé sans perturber nos vacances.

Somewhat dissapointed Having gone to this resort last October we found that the rooms during our stay this year between Sept 28th and October the 6th was dissapointing. The first room we got showed 27 degress and would not go down. Requested a changed of room and the hotel opened 2 different rooms and asked me to choose. Despite my asking for a room with an AC that worked, they did not have a clue. Ended up with a room at 24 degress all the time, not what I call acceptable and note that we had 2 singe beds for a married couple. Beach is Awesome as always, BEAUTIFUL. Food is quite good for Cuba. Hurricane Matthew blew by without disruption of our vacation.

Le paradis !

C'était ma deuxième fois au MEMORIES CARIBE BEACH RESORT et c'était encore mieux que la première fois. Le personnel est fantastique et très amical, en particulier les chefs du buffet principal et le personnel d'accueil, qui se surpassent pour vous. La plage, la piscine et le terrain de l'hôtel sont propres et très bien entretenus. Les seules plaintes que j'ai sont qu'ils ont besoin de plus de vendeurs pour visiter la station jeté sur la semaine pour acheter des cadeaux et l'autre plainte est que [... lire plus] le personnel de nettoyage des chambres (pas tous, seulement quelques-uns) pourrait être plus amical et pas si impoli. A part cela, c'est une station formidable

Paradise ! This was my second time at MEMORIES CARIBE BEACH RESORT and it was better than the first time. The staff are fantastic very friendly especially the main buffet chiefs and waiting staff they will go above and beyond for you . The beach/pool and hotel grounds are clean and kept up very well. The only complaints I have are that they need more venders to visit the resort threw out the week to buy gifts and the other complaint is that the room cleaning staff (not all only a few ) could be more friendly and not so rude. Other than that this is an awesome resort

Bon centre de villégiature

L'hôtel a besoin d'un peu d'entretien, mais la plage est magnifique. Les lits sont un peu durs et les chambres ont besoin d'être retouchées. Une amélioration des chambres ferait de cet hôtel un vrai quatre étoiles. Le personnel était super sympa !

Good resort Needs a little matainence but the beach is awesome. The beds are a little hard and the rooms need to be touched up anupgrade to the rooms would make this a true four star hotel. The staff was super nice!

Horrible

C'était les pires vacances jamais passées. Pas d'eau chaude ni d'air conditionné. Le personnel était impoli et privilégiait sa propre nationalité. Le seul point positif de cet endroit est la plage. Le séjour n'en vaut pas la peine, même avec le prix bas Prix

This was the worst vacation ever. No hot water or air conditioning. The staff was rude and favoured their own nationality. The only great thing about this place is the beach. Not worth the stay even with the cheap Prices

Grand centre de villégiature

C'est notre deuxième voyage dans ce complexe, il y a tout ce qu'il faut pour passer de bonnes vacances. Bonne nourriture, propreté et surtout un personnel extraordinaire. Ils vous donnent l'impression d'être de la famille dès votre arrivée et jusqu'à votre départ. Je compte les jours jusqu'à notre prochain voyage.

Great Resort This is our second trip to this resort, it has everything you could ask for to have a great vacation. Great food, clean and above all amazing staff. They make you feel like family from the time you arrive until you leave. I'm counting down the days until our next trip.

Séjour agréable

Bonjour, notre voyage s'est très bien passé. Comme d'habitude le personnel du resort était très gentil, agréable, drôle et avec un bon anglais (la réception en particulier). La nourriture était incroyable et le personnel du restaurant buffet était exceptionnel. La chambre était très propre et l'air conditionné fonctionnait très bien. Nice stay Hello, our trip was very nice. As usual staff at the resort were very nice, pleasant, funny and with good English (reception desk especially). Food was amazing and the staff at the buffet restoran was exceptional. Room was very clean and air conditioning worked great. Gardens around hotel are really nice and well kept. The beach is amazing, the guys who make pizza there are so nice and hard working. Little guy who cleans the beach is so cute and also hard working. Entertainment staff is great very funny and cute. Nous avons désespérément besoin de plus d'ombres de palapa !

Les chambres étaient standard. La plage était superbe ! Ce complexe a besoin d'un investissement majeur dans des parasols au bord de la piscine et à la plage. Il n'y a littéralement pas d'ombre pour se cacher du soleil brûlant. Le service clientèle a besoin d'être amélioré car les demandes semblent être transmises d'un employé à l'autre sans jamais être résolues. J'ai demandé un nouveau matelas et je ne l'ai jamais reçu. J'ai dû me contenter d'un lit qui pourrait briser le dos d'une personne âg [... lire plus]ée. La réception semblait incapable de répondre à de simples demandes le matin pour commander un taxi pour le soir. Les personnes qui ont fait leur travail, comme les jardiniers, les pizzaïolos, les serveurs du bar et les serveurs de la salle à manger, ont été exemplaires. La nourriture était répétitive et généralement peu appétissante, à l'exception de la pizza à la plage qui était excellente ! Le terrain de ce complexe est bien entretenu et luxuriant. C'est la partie la plus attrayante de ce complexe.

Desperately needs more palapa shades! The rooms were standard. The beach was great! This resort needs a major investment in umbrella shades by the pool and at the beach. There is literally no shade to hide under from the blistering sun. Customer service needs major improvement as requests seemed to get passed on from one employee to the next without ever being resolved. I requested a new bed mattress and never received one. I had to make do with a bed that could break the back of an elderly person. Reception seemed incapable of simple requests in the morning to order a taxi for the evening. The people who did do their jobs such as the gardeners, the pizza makers, the bar tenders and the wait staff in the dining hall were exemplary. The food was repetitive and generally unpalatable with the exception of pizza at the beach which was great! The grounds of this resort was well tended and lush. It is the most attractive part of this resort.

Superbe escapade !

Memories Caribe a été un très bon premier voyage à Cuba ! L'hôtel était propre, les chambres étaient grandes et le personnel était très gentil. Le service que nous avons reçu nous a fait nous sentir spéciaux car ils étaient tous amicaux et accommodants. La nourriture était correcte, mais le personnel de service fantastique a rendu le tout meilleur. Lorsque nous sommes partis, ils ont joué de la musique pour nous, nous ont offert des boissons et nous ont salués au moment où le bus partait. Lorsq [... lire plus]ue nous sommes allés chercher d'autres voyageurs dans les stations voisines, nous n'avons pas vu leur personnel faire la même chose pour leurs clients qui partaient. Grâce à cette expérience positive, j'y retournerai sans hésiter !

Great getaway! Memories Caribe was a really great first Cuban trip! The hotel was clean, rooms were large, and the staff was so nice. The service we received made us feel special as they were all friendly and accommodating. The food was okay but the fantastic wait staff made everything better. When we left, they played their music for us, gave us drinks and waved good-bye as the bus drove off. When we picked up other travellers from the neighbouring resorts, we didn't see their staff doing that for their guests leaving. Because of this positive experience, I would definitely go again!

Pas si mal.

Malheureusement, je n'ai pas été aussi heureuse que lors de mon premier séjour il y a 2 ans à Memories Carribe. Commençons par les points positifs. La plage... exceptionnelle, belle, bien entretenue, beaucoup d'endroits pour s'asseoir. Les terrains sont absolument bien entretenus. Le piano-bar est mon endroit préféré. Le personnel est remarquable. Ce sont des gens heureux, très gentils. Buffet, pas d'air conditionné, il fait une chaleur d'enfer pour manger là-dedans, cela devrait certainement êt [... lire plus]re amélioré. La nourriture n'est pas si mauvaise, j'ai toujours trouvé quelque chose à manger, le petit déjeuner était mon repas préféré. Pizza sur la plage et frites et hotdogs au bar très bons. La chambre était correcte, mais la climatisation fonctionnait à peine, ce qui était pour moi le principal problème. Les deux chambres étaient à 30-32 tous les jours. Nous nous sommes plaints mais ils nous ont dit qu'ils avaient des problèmes avec leur système. J'ai demandé autour de moi et la plupart des gens avaient le même problème. C'est énorme, il n'y a pas de climatisation dans les chambres et il fait très chaud dehors, il faut bien se rafraîchir quelque part. Ce problème devrait être résolu le plus rapidement possible.

Not so bad. Unfortunately, I was not has happy has I first stay 2 years ago at Memories Carribe. Let me start with the positive things about it. Beach...outstanding, beautiful, well maintained, plenty of places to seat. Grounds are absolutely well maintained. Piano Bar my favorite place. Staff outstanding. They are happy people, very kind. Buffet area, no air conditioning, hot like hell to eat in there, this should definitely be improved. Food not so bad, I always found something to eat, breakfast was my favorite meal. Pizza on beach and fries and hotdogs at bar very good. Room was ok, but AC was hardly working, that for me was my major issue. Both rooms were at 30-32 every day. We complained but they said they were having problems with their system. I asked around and most people were having the same problem. This is huge with no AC in the rooms and hot like crazy outside, you need to cool of somewhere. This should be fixed ASAP.

Vacances à Memories Caribe Cayo CocoCuba

Je dois dire que j'ai été agréablement surpris par ce complexe. Des chambres spacieuses, bien entretenues et propres. De beaux jardins méticuleusement entretenus, un personnel sympathique et curieux que nous avons adoré, et une plage à couper le souffle ! De superbes endroits pour se retrouver - le piano bar, le snack bar et autour de la piscine. Le seul inconvénient était le tampon - peu de choix. La pizza et le grill à la plage étaient excellents ainsi que le snack bar à la piscine. Le p [... lire plus]etit déjeuner au buffet était super avec la variété, les mimosas et les smoothies frais. Le buffet proposait des pâtes fraîches et des frites tous les soirs, ainsi que du poisson frais grillé du jour. Les différentes viandes grillées - porc ou poulet rôti - étaient très bonnes. Le bœuf l'était moins. Le restaurant asiatique à la carte était excellent et le service rapide. Les plats internationaux sont également excellents. Les animaux de compagnie de l'hôtel sont un plus !!! Il devient un adulte seulement nov. 2016. Oh aussi le spectacle aquatique allegria à la piscine avec des danseurs prof. Dancers also a must see !!

Vacay at Memories Caribe Cayo CocoCuba I must say I was pleasantly surprised with the resort. Spacious rooms well maintained and clean. Beautiful gardens meticulously manicured, friendly and curious staff that we just loved, and a breathtaking beach! Great places to hang out - the piano bar, snack bar and around the pool. Only downside was the buffer- slim pickings. The pizza and grill at the beach was great as well as the snack bar at the pool. The breakfast at the buffet was great with the variety and the mimosas and fresh smoothies. The buffet had fresh pasta and sir fry every-night along with fresh grilled fish of the day. Different grilled meat - roasted pork or chicken was very good. The beef not so much. The a la carte Asian was great and fast service. The international rest also great. Resort pets a plus!!! It's becoming a adults only nov. 2016. Oh also the allegria water show at the pool with prof. Dancers also a must see!!

Superbe station balnéaire

Le personnel est très gentil et efficace. Notre chambre était toujours magnifiquement nettoyée et notre vue était exceptionnelle. Les boissons étaient excellentes ainsi que le service au bar. La nourriture était excellente, en particulier les dîners. Les divertissements étaient excellents et l'environnement était agréable, nous y retournerons bientôt !

Awesome resort The staff were very nice and efficient. Our room was always beautifully cleaned and our view was outstanding. The drinks were amazing as Well as the bar service. The food was great especially the dinners. Entertainment was great and the environment was pleasant, definitely will be heading back soon!

Pas à la hauteur

Le terrain était beau et bien entretenu, mais le service était horrible. La plupart des serveurs refusaient de donner un coup de main ou d'aller chercher quelque chose qui n'était pas à leur poste. Ils n'avaient jamais de cuillères. Il y avait quelques employés extraordinaires.

Not up to par The grounds were nice and maintained, but the service was horrible. Most of the wait staff refused to help out or get anything that wasn't at their station. They also never had spoons. There were a few amazing employees.

Belle plage...mauvaise station

La plage était le seul point positif de l'hôtel. La nourriture était médiocre et la grande majorité du personnel n'était pas très serviable. Le complexe était toujours à court de cuillères et de sodas. Les chambres étaient propres, mais l'air conditionné ne fonctionnait pas. Dire que les lits étaient inconfortables est un euphémisme. Vous ne pouviez pas vous promener dans le complexe la nuit sans vous faire dévorer par un moustique vivant.

Nice beach...bad resort The beach was the only good thing about the resort. The food was subpar, and the vast majority of the staff were not helpfull. The resort was always out of spoons and soda. The rooms were clean, but the Air conditioning did not work. To say the beds were uncomfortable is an understatement. You could not walk around the resort at night without getting eaten a live by mosquito.

La plage était le seul point positif de l'hôtel. La nourriture était médiocre et la grande majorité du personnel n'était pas très serviable. Le complexe était toujours à court de cuillères et de sodas. Les chambres étaient propres, mais l'air conditionné ne fonctionnait pas. Dire que les lits étaient inconfortables est un euphémisme. Vous ne pouviez pas vous promener dans le complexe la nuit sans vous faire dévorer par un moustique vivant.

Nice beach everything else not so much The beach was the only good thing about the resort. The food was subpar, and the vast majority of the staff were not helpfull. The resort was always out of spoons and soda. The rooms were clean, but the Air conditioning did not work. To say the beds were uncomfortable is an understatement. You could not walk around the resort at night without getting eaten a live by mosquito.
