Memories Jibacoa: Des vacances parfaites

L'hôtel était propre, le personnel sympathique et il y a une très belle plage où l'on peut faire de la plongée avec masque et tuba. Il y avait beaucoup de nourriture et tout était délicieux. Nous reviendrons l'année prochaine, c'est certain. Il y a aussi des courts de tennis et de pickleball.

Perfect holiday The hotel was clean, friendlly staffand has a most beautiful beach with great snorkeling. There was so much food and it all tasted great. We will be back next year for sure. Also tennis and pickleball courts .

Melia Internacional: Excellente station

Je viens de rentrer de Melia, avec ma famille. La semaine a été parfaite. Le temps était de 34^ C'était génial ! La nourriture était bonne. Les chariots Al la étaient délicieux. La plage était incroyable. Les chambres sont très belles. Mon seul souci est que mon téléphone ne fonctionnait pas, nous n'avons donc pas pu profiter du room service ou contacter le concierge. Nous pensons que nous n'avons pas profité pleinement du service de niveau supérieur.

Excellent resort Just returned from Melia, level up family. Week was perfect. Weather was 34^ It was great! Food was good. Al la carts were delicious. Beach was incredible. Rooms are very nice. My only concern was my phone didn't work so we couldn't take advantage of the room service or contact concierge. We feel we didn't get the full advantage of the level up service.

Royalton Hicacos Resort and Spa: Une plage extraordinaire !

La plage était superbe. Le personnel était très serviable. Un peu un labyrinthe de bâtiments, mais on a fini par trouver comment s'y retrouver. La nourriture était aussi bonne, voire meilleure, que dans d'autres complexes 4 et 5 étoiles au Mexique ou en République dominicaine, etc. Le Caribe et le Pearl offraient la meilleure nourriture de tous. J'ai pu y entrer sans être membre du Diamond Club. J'ai dû attendre 1/2 heure ou 45 minutes mais j'y suis allé assez tôt pour obtenir ma réservati [... lire plus]on et ensuite aller boire quelques verres. Je reviendrai certainement

Amazing Beach! Beach was great. Staff was very helpful. Somewhat of a maze of buildings but eventually figured out how to get around. Food was as good or better than other 4- and 5-star resorts in Mexico or the Dominican, etc. Caribe and the Pearl where the best food of all. I was able to get in to them without being a Diamond Club member. Had to wait 1/2 hour or 45 minutes but went early enough to get my reservation in and then go for some drinks. I would definitely return

Grand Memories Varadero: Belle piscine et plage, quartiers délabrés

J'ai séjourné sept jours en mai 2025 et j'ai passé un excellent moment. Les meilleures parties du complexe sont 1) la plage et l'océan et 2) les piscines. L'eau de l'océan était propre et chaude. Il y a aussi un bar sur la plage. Fantastique. Il y a deux grandes piscines. Elles s'appellent la piscine bruyante et la piscine tranquille. Elles sont toutes deux fantastiques. Nous nous sommes retrouvés la plupart du temps dans la piscine calme, que nous avions presque entièrement pour nous :) [... lire plus] Les points négatifs du Grand Memories Varadero sont les logements. Les chambres sont propres, les lits sont confortables et l'air conditionné fonctionne très bien. Cependant, les portes sont délabrées et tombent en ruine. Ma femme n'a pas pu ouvrir la porte du patio car cela lui a demandé tellement d'efforts que j'ai dû le faire. La nourriture de l'hôtel laisse à désirer. Certains jours, il n'y avait pas de pain, par exemple.

Beautiful pool & beach, run-down quarters I stayed seven days in May of 2025 and I had a great time. The best parts of the resort are 1) the beach and ocean and 2) pools. The ocean water was clean and warm. There is a bar on the beach as well. Fantastic. There are two large pools. They're called the noisy and quiet pools. They're both fantastic. We found ourselves most days at the quiet pool which we had almost entirely to ourselves. :) The negative points about Grand Memories Varadero are the accommodations. The rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, and the air conditioning works great. However, the doors are rundown and falling apart. My wife could not open the patio door as it required so much effort that I had to do it. The food at the resort left something to be desired. Some days there was no bread, for example.

Grand Memories Varadero: Endroit agréable

Le complexe lui-même dispose de bons équipements, mais malheureusement, les chambres n'ont pas été très bien entretenues. De plus, les femmes de chambre ne nettoient pas votre chambre pendant que vous êtes absent. Elles viennent, font le lit et s'en vont. Elles passaient en moyenne une minute ou moins dans notre chambre. Sinon, c'est un beau complexe dans l'ensemble. Les piscines sont excellentes. Le personnel est sympathique (même s'il n'est pas aussi amical que dans d'autres endroits où  [... lire plus]nous avons séjourné). Le hall est magnifique le soir. Il y a un animateur musical tous les soirs, et ce sont des musiciens très talentueux. Ils font monter l'ambiance à la perfection. La nourriture est aussi bonne que dans les autres complexes cubains que nous avons visités. La boutique de souvenirs sur place était plus belle et plus grande que celle de notre dernier hôtel. On y trouve des cigares, des produits de toilette quotidiens, des snacks et d'autres choses intéressantes. La plage est magnifique. Je n'en ai jamais vu d'aussi belle. Nous avons toujours trouvé un coin à l'ombre et l'eau est à couper le souffle.

Nice place The resort itself has good amenities, but unfortunately, the rooms haven't been maintained very well. And the maids don't actually clean your room while you're out during the day. They come in, make your bed, and then leave. They averaged about 1 minute or less in our room. Otherwise, it's a nice resort, overall. The pools are excellent. The staff are nice (although not as friendly as other places we've stayed). The lobby is wonderful in the evenings. They have a musical entertainer each night, and they are highly talented musicians. They really elevate the mood perfectly. The food was as good as any other Cuban resort we've experienced. The gift shop on sight was nicer and bigger than our last resort. They have cigars, daily toiletry products, snacks, and other nice things. The beach was stunning. As nice a beach as I've ever seen. We always found a spot in the shade, and the water is breathtaking.

Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Superbes vacances

Belle station. Un peu vieillot mais propre. Le personnel était très aimable et sympathique. Les piscines étaient superbes mais il n'y avait pas beaucoup de chaises dans aucune des trois piscines. La plage était toujours propre et il y avait beaucoup de chaises. Les ascenseurs étaient douteux. Un seul de chaque série fonctionnait, mais celui qui fonctionnait n'apparaissait pas toujours lorsqu'on appuyait sur le bouton. Nous devions souvent monter à pied les quatre volées d'escaliers qui menaient [... lire plus] à notre chambre. La nourriture était épouvantable. Pas de sel, de poivre ou de ketchup, la même chose pour le déjeuner et le dîner tous les jours. Nous avons dû aller en ville pour acheter de la nourriture à deux reprises car nous étions fatigués d'essayer de trouver quelque chose à manger. Heureusement, nous avions apporté des en-cas avec nous. Les oiseaux volaient tout autour de la nourriture et la grignotaient. C'était très dégoûtant. C'était la première fois que je venais à Cuba, alors peut-être que tous les hôtels sont comme ça avec la nourriture. C'est la seule raison pour laquelle je ne le recommanderais pas.

Great vacation Beautiful resort. A bit dated but clean. Staff were very engaging and friendly. Pools were great but not a lot of chairs at any of the three pools. Beach was always help clean and lots of chairs. Elevators were iffy. Only one of each set worked however the one that did work sometimes would not show up when the button was pressed. We had to walk the four flight of stairs to our room a lot. The food was terrible. No salt, pepper or ketchup same thing for lunch and supper everyday. We had to go to town to get food twice as we were tired of trying to find something to eat. Thankfully we brought snacks with us. Birds were flying all around the food and nibbling on it. This was very gross. This was my first time to Cuba so maybe all resorts are like this with food. This is the only reason I wouldn’t recommend it.

Grand Aston Varadero Beach Resort: Un lieu de villégiature agréable qui répondait à la plupart des attentes

J'ai trouvé que le complexe était d'un excellent rapport qualité-prix et que le seul point négatif était la plage, qui mûrira et s'améliorera avec le temps. Il n'y avait pas de pénurie apparente et le personnel était fier de son poste. Je reviendrai.

Nice Resort which checked off most of the boxes I thought the resort was a great value, and the only negative was the beach, which will mature and improve with time. There were no apparent shortages and the staff took pride in their positions. I would return.

Sanctuary at Grand Memories Varadero: Très belle station

J'ai beaucoup apprécié l'air conditionné dans ma chambre La nourriture était très bonne et le service au restaurant était excellent La piscine était très propre Amélioration : le ventilateur de ma chambre ne fonctionnait pas Besoin de nouvelles lampes ! Et les chaises du bar ne sont vraiment pas confortables Le personnel est très gentil ?

Very nice resort Really like the air conditioning in my room Food was very good and the service at the restaurant was excellent The pool was very clean Improvement: is my fan in my room was not working Need new lamps! And the chairs at the bar are really not comfortable Staffs are very nice ??

Resonance Blu Varadero: La plage était superbe mais assez éloignée de tout

Les chambres étaient propres et partiellement rénovées. Le buffet était fermé pour Blu, nous avons donc dû aller au Mystique pour tous les repas. C'était une marche de 10 à 15 minutes dans chaque sens. Il y a un bar avant d'arriver à la plage mais il ne sert pas toutes les boissons et il n'y a pas d'endroit sur la plage pour se procurer des boissons ou des en-cas. Certainement pas pour ceux qui ont des problèmes de mobilité car le terrain n'est pas facile à naviguer et tout est à plus de 10 min [... lire plus]utes de marche des chambres. Nous adorons Cuba, mais je suis heureuse que ce ne soit pas notre premier voyage, car nous ne reviendrions probablement pas.

The beach was great but quite far from everything The rooms were clean and partially updated. They had the buffet closed for Blu so we had to go to Mystique for all meals. It was a 10-15 walk each way. There is a bar before you get to the beach but it doesn’t serve all the drinks and there is no place on the beach to get drinks or snacks. Definitely not for those with mobility issues as the grounds are not easy to navigate and everything is a minimum 10 minute plus walk from the rooms. We love Cuba but I am glad this wasn’t our first trip as we likely wouldn’t be back.

Sol Palmeras: Station familiale

Ce complexe dispose d'une belle plage avec de nombreux palapas et chaises longues pour s'asseoir, se détendre et regarder la magnifique eau turquoise. La végétation abondante lui confère un air de jungle. Deux piscines avec un bar central. Cependant, il n'y a pas de bar de baignade, vous devrez donc sortir de la piscine pour aller chercher vos boissons. Barbecue pour les hamburgers et les saucisses à l'heure du déjeuner, pas sur la plage mais à proximité. Le buffet est vaste et très var [... lire plus]ié. Aucune pénurie n'a été constatée pendant notre séjour. Le décor des bungalows est daté mais ils offrent plus d'espace que les chambres d'hôtel. Cependant, il faut se préparer à marcher plus longtemps pour accéder aux piscines et au buffet, car ces bungalows sont répartis sur une grande surface. Il semble qu'il y ait une navette, mais elle était apparemment hors service pendant mon séjour. Il y a un bar principal à l'étage du lobby et un excellent bar à café, ce qui en fait un endroit encombré par moments. Dans l'ensemble, nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour et nous reviendrons. Nous n'avons rencontré aucun problème de moustiques ou de puces de sable, c'est donc une victoire à 100%.

Family resort This resort has a beautiful beach with plenty of palapas and loungers to sit, relax and look out at the stunning turquoise water. With lots of vegetation, it has a jungle feel. Two pools with a central bar facility. No swim up bar, however, so you'll need to get out of the pool to get your drinks. BBQ for lunchtime burgers and sausages, not at the beach but close by. Buffet is large with excellent variety. No shortages noted at all during our stay. Bungalow decor is dated but they do provide more space than the hotel rooms. However, be prepared to walk further to access the pools and buffet, as these bungalows are spread out over a large area. There appeared to be a shuttle of some description but it was apparently out of service during my stay. There is one main bar upstairs on the lobby level and a great coffee bar and this makes it a congested area at times. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will be back. No problems encountered with either mosquitoes or sand fleas, so that is a win, 100%.

Barcelo Solymar: Très mauvais, pas de mesures sanitaires

Cet hôtel est très grand. Il y avait très peu de touristes canadiens lorsque j'y étais. Beaucoup de Russes et de Cubains. Plusieurs personnes, dont moi-même, ont été victimes d'une intoxication alimentaire à cause du buffet. Lorsque je l'ai signalé au directeur adjoint Christian, il m'a blâmé en disant que j'avais trop bu. Et il ne semblait pas s'en préoccuper. À un moment donné, il a mentionné qu'il avait un léger cas de diarrhée et que cela devait être quelque chose dans l'air. Idiot.

Very poor, no sanitary measures This hotel is very large. There were very few canadian tourists when I was there. Lots of Russians and cubans. Several people including myself got food poisoning from the buffet food. When I pointed this out to the assistant manager Christian he blamed me saying I drank too much. And seem to care little. At one point he mention that he had a mild case of diarrhea and it must be something in the air. Idiot.

Blau Varadero: Incroyable

C'est la quatrième fois que nous nous rendons dans ce centre de villégiature. Le service est excellent et les personnes avec qui nous traitons sont formidables. La nourriture, la piscine et la plage sont excellentes. Nous reviendrons sans aucun doute et nous recommanderons ce complexe à tout le monde. J'ai rencontré beaucoup de gens formidables du Canada

Melia Las Americas: Très belle

L'hôtel était très propre et bien entretenu. Le terrain était propre et bien entretenu. Le choix des plats était bon. Le pain était exceptionnel, peut-être le meilleur que j'aie jamais mangé. Le service au buffet était très bon. L'hôtel était calme et si vous cherchiez un endroit pour vous détendre, c'est l'endroit idéal. Il est destiné aux couples, il n'y avait donc pas beaucoup d'action tard dans la nuit. Les divertissements étaient très bons. Le service au bar de la piscine était excellent, j [... lire plus]e dois dire que Yamia et son collègue étaient fantastiques, leur service était de premier ordre.

Very Nice The hotel was very clean and well kept. The grounds were kept clean and manicured to look nice.The food selections were good. The bread was outstanding might be the best that i have had. The service in the buffet was very good. The hotel was quiet and if you were going to look for a place to just relax this is the place. Its geared to couples so there was not much late night action going on. The entertainment was very good. The service at the pool bar was excellent, i have to say that Yamia and her co worker were fantastic there service was top drawer.

Selectum Family Resort Varadero: Un centre de villégiature extraordinaire !

Mon mari, moi-même et mes deux petits garçons avons séjourné ici pendant une semaine, du 25 avril au 2 mai. Nous nous sommes éclatés, tout le personnel était excellent, très amical et à votre service pour tout ce dont vous aviez besoin. La nourriture et les boissons étaient excellentes. Nous n'avons rien à redire car nous aimons Cuba et pensons que c'est l'endroit le plus sûr pour voyager.

Amazing resort! My husband and I and my two little boys stayed here for a week, April 25 to May 2. We had a blast, all the staff for excellent, very friendly and were at your service for whatever you needed. Food and drinks were great. We have zero complaints as we love Cuba and feel it is the safest place to travel.I totally recommend.

Iberostar Origin Bella Vista Varadero: Grand centre de villégiature

L'hôtel est propre, le personnel est formidable, la nourriture est bonne et la plage est magnifique ! Nous avons adoré ce complexe, nous avons passé un moment merveilleux et nous y retournerions. Ma mère avait besoin d'un fauteuil roulant et on lui en a fourni un. Le service clientèle a été formidable et nous a aidés lorsque nous avions besoin de serviettes et d'un fauteuil roulant. J'y retournerais volontiers !

Great Resort Hotel is clean, staff are great, food is good, and beach is amazing! We loved this resort, had a wonderful time, and would go back. My mom required a wheelchair, and one was provided. Customer Service was great, and helpful when we needed towels, and a wheelchair. I would go back!

Royalton Hicacos Resort and Spa: Tout juste correct

Ok pour Cuba. Royalton a une bonne réputation et nous avons visité plusieurs de ses différents établissements. En général, lorsque nous choisissons notre destination, Royalton est le premier que nous considérons. Nous aimons Cuba, les gens et la plage de Varadero est unique en son genre. Positif pour l'hôtel, j'ai beaucoup aimé le service offert par René et Roberto comme point de contact. Les informations qu'ils ont fournies ont été extrêmement utiles. Bravo à ceux qui ont eu cette idée Les p [... lire plus]rincipales parties de l'hôtel sont restées propres et entretenues. Les escaliers et les couloirs du bâtiment où nous avons séjourné n'étaient pas propres. Le personnel était amical et accommodant s'il recevait un pourboire, sauf les barmans et les serveurs du bar principal. Ils n'étaient pas contents même avec le pourboire. Ils n'étaient pas accessibles. Pas amical. Beaucoup d'attitude On aurait dit qu'ils ne voulaient vraiment pas être là sauf une serveuse blonde aux cheveux courts un peu plus âgée. Elle était souriante et super gentille. La jeune serveuse brune et les serveurs du bar avaient besoin d'un petit coup de pouce ou nous n'avons pas donné assez de pourboire - je ne sais pas trop quel était le problème ! Négatif : l'approvisionnement - Personne ne va à Cuba pour la nourriture et ce n'est pas la première fois que nous allons à Cuba et nous sommes pleinement conscients des difficultés économiques là-bas, mais si vous gérez un centre de villégiature à Cuba, vous devez au moins avoir quelques fruits. Les fruits vendus par les fermiers de la ville étaient excellents et il semblait qu'il y en avait en abondance. Je ne comprends pas comment le Royalton ne peut pas se permettre d'avoir des papayes et des pastèques mûres ou des mangues en quantité suffisante. Dans l'ensemble, l'hôtel était bien, malheureusement nous ne retournerons pas à Cuba pour diverses raisons, mais si nous le faisions, nous choisirions probablement le Royalty à nouveau. De plus, notre heure d'arrivée était tardive, plus de minuit, le service aurait pu être un peu meilleur. Nous avons dû porter nos propres bagages jusqu'à notre bâtiment qui était loin. Une poussette aurait été utile

Just ok Ok for Cuba. Royalton has a good reputation and we have been in a few of their different locations. So generally when we choose our destination, Royalton is the first one we consider. We love Cuba, the people and Varadero beach is one of a kind. Positive for Hotel, really liked the service offered by Rene and Roberto to be the point of contact. The information they offered were extremely helpful. Kudos to whoever came up with that idea Main areas of the hotel kept clean, and maintained. The stair cases and hallways of the building we stayed wasn’t clean. Staff were friendly and accommodating if they were given tips except the bartenders and servers at the main bar. They were not happy even with the tip. Not approachable. Not friendly. Lots of attitude It seemed they really didn’t want to be there except only one short hair blond lady server a bit older. She was smiling and super nice. It seemed the young dark hair server and the bar tenders needed a bit of a pick me up drinks or we didn’t tip enough - not sure what the issue was !! Negative : supplies - No one goes to Cuba for food and this is not our first time going to Cuba either and we are fully aware of the economic hardship over there but if you are running a resort in Cuba you have to at least have some fruits. The fruits being sold by the farmers in town were great and it seemed they had plenty. Not sure how the Royalton can’t afford a ripe Papaya, and watermelon or enough supplies of mangos. Overall the hotel was good unfortunately won’t go back to Cuba for various reasons but if we did, we probably choose Royalty again. Also our arrival time was late , past midnight, the service could have been a bit better. We had to carry our own luggages to our building which was far. A buggy ride would have been useful

Blau Varadero: A recommander sans hésitation

Je viens de passer une semaine dans ce centre de villégiature et j'y retournerai sans hésiter et le recommanderai. Le terrain est magnifique et extrêmement propre. L'hôtel était de bonne taille. Pas trop grand, impeccable, avec tout ce qu'il faut. La nourriture était bonne et variée. Les boissons étaient très bonnes et très variées. Les chambres ont été rénovées et gardées très propres.

Would definitely recommend I just spent a week at this resort and would definitely return and recommend. The grounds were beautiful and extremely clean. The hotel was a good size. Not to big, spotless, had everything that you needed. Food was good with a variety. Drinks were very good a large variety. Rooms were updated and kept very clean.

C'est un petit complexe mais très mignon et le terrain est très bien entretenu, propre et soigné. La plage est magnifique et étonnante, il y a beaucoup de chaises longues et de parasols, je n'ai pas eu à me battre pour l'un d'entre eux. Il y a un restaurant de plage avec une excellente nourriture. Il y a trois restaurants qu'il faut réserver, deux d'entre eux sont délicieux. Le restaurant italien était horrible, ils ne connaissent pas la cuisine italienne et ne savent pas comment la cuisiner. [... lire plus] Le service d'accueil et les employés sont incroyables, serviables et compétents, il y a même un médecin et une infirmière sur place Les chambres sont démodées mais propres et tout le monde est sympathique. Si vous avez besoin de quelque chose, vous le demandez et ils ne vous donneront pas de fil à retordre et n'auront pas d'attitude Nous y sommes allés la dernière semaine d'avril et il faisait très très chaud. Buvez beaucoup d'eau et apportez un chapeau

Cutest adults only resort It's a small resort but very cute and the grounds are very well kept up, neat, clean. The beach is beautiful and amazing there are plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas did not have to fight for any of them. There is a beach restaurant with excellent food. There are three restaurants you need to book two of them are delicious. The Italian restaurant was awful they do not know Italian food or how to cook it. The service desk and people are amazing and helpful and knowledgeable there is even a doctor and nurse on site The rooms are outdated but clean and everyone there is friendly. If you need something you ask and they will not give you a hard time nor attitude We went the last week of April and it was very very hot. Drink lots of water and bring a hat
