Un bon rapport qualité-prix. Le personnel a fait tout ce qui était en son pouvoir pour vous mettre à l'aise. La nourriture était bonne et la chambre était propre. Le seul vrai problème que j'ai avec ce complexe est que vous devez payer pour le coffre-fort dans votre chambre. Je dirais à mes amis de séjourner ici

Great Time Good bang for your buck. The staff went out of thier way to make you comfortable with everything. Food was good and the room was clean The only real problem I have with this resort is that you have to pay for the safe in your room. I would tell my friends to stay here

Excellente combinaison d'activités réservées aux adultes et d'activités variées. La nourriture et le service sont fantastiques, on n'a pas l'impression que le complexe essaie d'économiser de l'argent en proposant des boissons ou des quantités bon marché (vous pouvez ranger ces bubba's !)

Beyond our expectations Great combination of adult only with a variety of activities. Food and service are fantastic, doesn't feel like the resort is trying to save money on cheap drinks or quantity (you can put away those bubba's!). Had a fantastic time!

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Relaxing Resort Sian Kaan

Il s'agit d'un excellent complexe réservé aux adultes, qui fait partie du grand complexe Bahia Principe (Tulum, Akumal, Coba et Sian Kaan). Tulum et Akumal sont sur la plage, tandis que Sian Kaan est plus à l'intérieur des terres, mais avec un terrain de golf. Vous pouvez vous rendre à pied à chacun d'entre eux, mais des navettes ouvertes les relient toutes les 15 minutes. La plage est très bien entretenue et le personnel (et il y a beaucoup de personnel) est constamment en train de la ratisser et de la nettoyer. Belles piscines avec bars et restaurants à proximité. Pas de vendeurs gênants car l'accès à la station est étroitement surveillé par la sécurité. Excellent rapport qualité-prix.

This is an excellent adults only resort being a part of large complex of Bahia Principe (Tulum, Akumal, Coba and Sian Kaan). Tulum and Akumal are on the beach, while Sian Kaan is more inland but with a golf course. You can walk to all of them but open shuttles are going between them every 15 minutes. The grounds are immaculate, service excellent, rooms clean and any issues are dealt with promptly. Lots of restaurants, snack bars, beach bars with drinks and snacks delivery right to your beach lounge chair. Beach is very well maintained and the staff (and there is lots of staff) busy constantly raking and cleaning it. Beautiful pools with bars and restaurants nearby. No annoying vendors as access to the resorts is tightly monitored by security. Excellent value for the money.

Le Grand Bahia Principe Punta Cana m'a été recommandé par une amie. Je suis ravie d'avoir suivi sa suggestion. Le complexe est incroyable. Très propre, la nourriture est géniale, les gens sont si gentils. Je vais certainement y retourner pour un autre séjour !

l'hôtel est un peu vieillot, j'ai reçu des appels de quelqu'un à 2h30 du matin à trois reprises et sans raison, certaines personnes de l'accueil étaient impolies lorsque je posais des questions et je devais les reposer parce que je ne les comprenais pas, les plages étaient très belles, la nourriture était assez bonne. J'ai dû demander plus d'eau potable pour la chambre ainsi que des serviettes de bain. Le vol de retour a été retardé de 8 heures et aucun représentant d'Air Transat n'était là po [... lire plus]ur nous aider à savoir quand nous devions quitter le centre de villégiature, nous et les autres passagers avons dû nous débrouiller, ce qui est une bien piètre représentation d'Air Transat.

so so resort was a bit dated,received calls from someone at 2:30am three times and with no reason,some of the front dest people were rude when asking questions and having to ask again because i couldnt understand them,beaches were very nice,food was pretty good. Had to request more drinking water for the room as well as bath towels. Flight coming home was delayed 8 hrs and no Air Transat reps around to assist as to when we wetre to leave the resort,us and other passengers had to figure it out,pretty poor representation of Air Transat,will not fly them again.

Bahia Principe Explore El Portillo: Une plage parfaite

Plage magnifique, marche sur des kilomètres, eau cristalline. Bonne nourriture, chambres propres. Ne perdez pas votre temps aux Terranas bien qu'il y ait une belle promenade le long de la plage depuis le resort. Il n'y a pas de chambres avec vue sur l'océan dans ce complexe car les restaurants font tous face à la plage. Le complexe est agréable, mais pas trop grand. J'y retournerais mais je ne paierais pas pour le Royal Golden package en tant que surclassement la prochaine fois. Le buffet était  [... lire plus]également bon.

Beach Perfect Awesome beach walk for miles, crystal clear water. Good food clean rooms. Don't waste your time in Les Terranas although it's a nice walk along the beach from the resort. No ocean view rooms at this resort as the restaurants all face the beach. Nice resort not to big. I would go back but wouldn't pay for the Royal Golden package as an upgrade next time. a la carte should be used Rodizio interesting, French very nice. Buffet was also good.

Qu'est-ce que je ne peux pas dire à propos de ce centre de villégiature ? Les chambres sont propres et spacieuses. Le terrain est immaculé avec une végétation luxuriante. La nourriture était excellente et disponible 24 heures sur 24. J'ai adoré faire de la plongée avec masque et tuba dans l'océan. J'ai vu de nombreux poissons tropicaux. Il y avait de nombreux restaurants merveilleux avec un grand choix de plats. Des divertissements étaient proposés tous les soirs. L'hospitalité était ex [... lire plus]ceptionnelle. J'y retournerais volontiers.

A beautiful resort! What can't I say about this resort? The rooms were clean as well as large . The grounds immaculate with lush vegetation. The food was amazing and available 24 hours a day. I loved to snorkel in the ocean. Seen many tropical fish. Many wonderful restaurants to choose from with a wide selection of food. Entertainment was available nightly. The hospitality was exceptional. Would absolutely go back again.

Situation exceptionnelle, personnel sympathique, toujours un bonjour et un sourire de la part de tout le monde. La nourriture et les boissons sont 5 étoiles Plage incroyable et eau cristalline pour faire de la plongée avec tuba et beaucoup de poissons à voir. Le trajet en tramway jusqu'à la plage était une première pour nous, mais nous avons rencontré beaucoup de gens sur les trajets. Les opérateurs du tramway sont également sympathiques, merci à Luis !

Luxury Bahia Principe Sian Ka'an Amazing Location, friendly staff always a hello and a smile from everyone. Food and drinks a 5 star Amazing beach and crystal clear water to snorkel and lots of fish to see. Tram ride to beach area was a first for us but we met lots of people on the rides.Tram ride operators friendly as well shout out to Luis!

Le principal problème était la barrière linguistique. Même les personnes travaillant à la réception ne parlaient pas anglais. J'ai presque eu l'impression que les employés avaient des problèmes avec la direction et que les touristes en souffraient. Notre grand groupe est très généreux en pourboires et, à de nombreuses reprises, nous n'avons pas reçu de remerciements dans aucune langue. Le complexe lui-même était très bien, la nourriture était excellente. Nous avons eu un problème de disparition  [... lire plus]d'argent, il avait été laissé sur la commode (et non sur le lit).

nice clean beautiful resort. some staff need language improvement The main problem was the language barrier. Even the people working the front desk could not speak english. I almost felt as if the workers were having problems with management and therefore the tourists suffered. Our large group are very good tippers and on numerous occasions did not receive and thank you in any language. The resort itself was veery good, food was great. We had one problem with money missing, it was left on the dresser ( not the bed) my bad.

nous avons passé un excellent séjour à l'hôtel de luxe Bahia Princpe Esmarelda. De notre fille Yenny qui nous servait nos boissons à la piscine, c'était une petite fille incroyable. Les danseurs sexy Chocolate et Pedro, qui étaient à la piscine pour encourager les gens à faire des exercices, étaient géniaux et drôles. Notre chambre était magnifique, les femmes de chambre étaient gentilles. Les serveurs comme Hulioi d Pedro et Mathies étaient des enfants excellents et travailleurs, La nourriture  [... lire plus]était excellente. Nous avons seulement souhaité qu'il y ait plus de travailleurs capables de parler anglais. Certains parlaient couramment le français et d'autres parlaient bien l'anglais

Great time we had an excellent time at the Luxury Bahia Princpe Esmarelda. From our girl Yenny who served us at the pool our drinks she was an amazing little girl. To sexy chocolate and Pedro the dancers who were at the pool getting people upbeat about the exercises they were awesome and funny. Our room was beautiful, The maids were nice. The servers like Hulioi d Pedro and Mathies they were excellent and hardworking kids, The food was excellent. We only wish that there were more workers that were able to speak English Some were fluent in French also and some of the workers could speak English well

Mon amie et moi avons passé de très bonnes vacances. 5 nuits. Les buffets étaient excellents ! Le personnel était très serviable, parfois un peu trop. Les chambres étaient propres et confortables. Le terrain est magnifique. Les jardins sont magnifiques.

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Un centre de villégiature formidable à bien des égards, mais décevant à bien d'autres égards !

Nous avions visité un Bahia San Juan à Puerto Plata il y a deux ans et nous étions donc familiarisés avec son agencement et son fonctionnement. Nous n'étions pas allés à Punta Cana et avons donc décidé d'essayer le Grand Bahia Luxury Esmeralda, en grande partie sur la recommandation de l'agent de voyage que nous avions utilisé il y a deux ans. Nous savions que l'endroit était grand, mais nous n'imaginions pas qu'il l'était autant. Il y a 5 hôtels sur la propriété et on m'a dit qu'il y avait p [... lire plus]lus de 4000 chambres. D'abord les bons côtés. 1/ La nourriture était exceptionnelle. Nous avons mangé dans plusieurs restaurants à la carte et nous avons toujours apprécié nos repas. Le gros problème a été d'obtenir un horaire autour de 19 heures. Apparemment, on peut réserver longtemps à l'avance et pour toute une semaine ou deux si on le souhaite. Cela signifie que les retardataires n'ont souvent pas de chance. Les buffets des restaurants étaient très bons et offraient un grand choix. L'Esmeralda propose des repas en plein air à l'un de ses buffets, ce qui était agréable la plupart du temps. Nous avons trouvé que les restaurants intérieurs étaient souvent froids. 2/ Le terrain était impeccable, tant du point de vue de la propreté que de l'aménagement paysager. C'était un plaisir de se promener sur les sentiers et d'être toujours entouré d'une belle végétation. 3/ L'extérieur des bâtiments était charmant et en très bon état d'après ce que nous avons vu. 4/ Fantasia est un nouveau quartier de l'hôtel qui s'adresse aux jeunes et c'était magnifique de s'y promener la nuit. Un ingénieur éclairagiste avait fait un travail formidable en éclairant les bâtiments et en coordonnant les lumières avec les fontaines. 5/ Les piscines étaient impeccables. Elles étaient toujours belles et agréables à regarder. 6/ Le personnel d'assistance était presque toujours prêt à vous aider avec une bonne humeur qui était chaleureuse et semblait sincère. 7/ La plage était faite de sable fin et il était agréable d'y marcher aussi longtemps que l'on voulait, dans n'importe quelle direction. Alors pourquoi avons-nous été déçus ? 1/ FUMER ! Partout où nous sommes allés, à part dans les salles à manger intérieures, il y avait beaucoup de gens (surtout des Québécois) qui fumaient. Dans la plupart des cas, ce n'est pas juste, mais il semblait qu'à chaque fois que nous nous retournions, les fumeurs parlaient français. Nous ne pouvions pas échapper à la fumée sur la plage lorsque nous nous reposions sur les chaises longues ou autour des piscines. 2/ BUSY. Il y avait tellement de monde qui se déversait sur la plage depuis les 5 hôtels que l'on avait du mal à trouver une place à moins d'être prêt à partir tôt et à "réserver" une chaise longue en jetant sa serviette par dessus. C'est une de mes bêtes noires, car souvent les gens font cela et ne reviennent pas sur leur chaise avant plusieurs heures. Les files d'attente pour le déjeuner aux buffets de la plage étaient très importantes et il n'était pas possible de fumer dans ces zones. Il était difficile d'obtenir une place assise et malheur à vous si les personnes à proximité décidaient d'allumer une cigarette. 3/ Divertissement....es spectacles musicaux étaient assurés par des chanteurs de qualité, mais les places assises pour les écouter étaient limitées et, une fois de plus, les fumeurs rendaient l'expérience moins agréable. Les spectacles qui ont suivi se sont déroulés sur une petite scène qui ne permettait pas de s'asseoir autour de la piscine, à moins d'être prêt à se garer très tôt. Le concert de Michael Jackson était assez bon, mais les fumeurs nous ont également dérangés. 4/ Nous avons discuté avec d'autres personnes qui, comme nous, ont trouvé qu'une fois qu'on avait marché un peu sur la plage et qu'on s'était allongé un peu autour de la piscine, il n'y avait plus rien à faire. Le Bahia Village est un peu éloigné et la plupart des gens prennent la navette pour s'y rendre. Une fois que l'on s'est promené en regardant les trucs typiques des touristes, il n'y a plus de raison de revenir. Il n'y avait pas de jeu de palets. La pétanque a été mentionnée mais nous ne l'avons pas trouvée et nous n'aimons pas vraiment le volley-ball de plage en plein soleil. 5/ BRUIT. Notre première chambre était une unité de bout qui se trouvait être l'emplacement de la navette amenant les touristes à toute heure. Les 2 premières nuits, nous avons été réveillés par ces bus à 1h45 du matin. Il y avait aussi des gens qui pensaient qu'ils devaient avoir des conversations bruyantes juste devant notre porte et ils n'ont pas apprécié qu'on les fasse taire, même à 2 heures du matin ! Nous avons déménagé dans un autre bâtiment où nous avons rencontré les mêmes problèmes de conversations bruyantes par des femmes qui avaient trop bu. Le bruit était tel que les habitants d'un bâtiment voisin sont sortis pour en trouver la source. 6/ Safari VIP...offert par Transat Holidays. Une arnaque ! Nous avions fait un voyage similaire à P Plata et avions passé un excellent moment. Cette fois-ci, nous avons attendu 50 minutes avant de commencer, nous étions 20 personnes entassées dans un véhicule ressemblant à un camion avec une mauvaise suspension et nous avons passé quelques heures à rebondir sur des routes accidentées. Le guide était bon et n'avait aucun contrôle sur le nombre de personnes (c'est du moins ce que l'on nous a fait croire), mais l'expérience de la foule s'est poursuivie sur un bateau où nous avons déjeuné. Nous avons tous les deux l'impression d'avoir passé beaucoup de temps et dépensé beaucoup d'argent pour relativement peu de choses.

What a great resort in so many ways but what a disappointment in many others! We had been to a Bahia San Juan at Puerto Plata 2 years ago and so were familiar with their general layout and operation. We had not been to Punta Cana and so decided to try the Grand Bahia Luxury Esmeralda largely on the recommendation of the travel agent we used 2 years ago. We knew the place was big but had no idea it was SO big. There are 5 hotels on the property and I was told there are over 4000 rooms. First the good parts. 1/ food was outstanding. We ate at several a la cart restaurants and always enjoyed our meals. Big problem was in getting a time around 7 pm. Apparently one can book well ahead and for your entire week or two should you wish. This means that late comers are often out of luck. The buffet restaurants were very good and had lots of choice. The Esmeralda offers outside dining at one buffet and that was nice most of the time. We found the indoor dining often to be chilly. 2/ grounds were immaculate both in cleanliness and in landscaping. It was a treat to walk the paths and be surrounded but lovely vegetation always. 3/ building exteriors were lovely and in very good state of repair from what we saw. 4/ Fantasia was a new hotel area which caters to youngsters and it was gorgeous to walk thru at night. Some lighting engineer had done a wonderful job with the buildings being floodlite as well as coordinating lights with the fountains. 5/ pools were immaculate. They always looked and felt lovely. 6/ the help staff were almost always willing to help you with a cheerfulness that was warm and appeared genuine. 7/ the beach was fine sand and felt nice to walk on for as long as you wanted in either direction. So why did we come away disappointed? 1/ SMOKING! No matter where we went, aside from indoor dining areas there were lots of people (largely from Quebec) who smoked. With most generalizations this is not fair but it seemed that every time we turned around the smokers were speaking French. We couldn't escape the smoke on the beach while resting in the chaise loungers nor around the pools. 2/ BUSY. There were so many people who fed on to the beach area from the 5 hotels that one had trouble finding a spot unless you were prepared to go early and "reserve" a chaise by throwing your towel over it. This is a pet peeve of mine because often people will do this and not return to their chair for many hours. The lineups for lunch at the beach buffets were very large and smoking was not controlled in these areas. getting any seating was a problem and woe betide you if the folks nearby decided to light up. 3/ Entertainment....the live music offerings were done by quality singers however the seating for listening to them was limited and once again smokers made the enjoyment less. The acts that followed were done on a small stage area which didn't provide very much seating around the pool unless you were prepared to park yourself very early. The Michael Jackson concert was pretty good but the smoking got to us there too. 4/ We talked to a few other people there who like ourselves found that once you had walked the beach a bit and then lay around the pool a bit you ran out of things to do. The Bahia Village was a bit of a walk and most folk took the shuttle bus to get to it. Once you walked about looking at the typical tourist stuff there was little reason to return. There was no shuffleboard. Bocce was mentioned but we couldn't find it and we aren't really into beach volleyball in the full sun. 5/ NOISE. Our first room was an end unit which happened to be the location of the shuttle bus bringing in tourists at all hours. The first 2 nights we were awakened by these buses at 1:45 am. There were also people who thought they should have loud conversations right outside our door and they didn't take kindly to being shushed even at 2 am! We moved to another building where we encountered the same problems of loud conversations by females who had too much to drink. The noise was so bad that people in an adjoining building came out to find out the source. 6/ VIP Safari...offered by Transat Holidays. A rip off! We had taken a similar trip at P Plata and had a wonderful time. This time we were kept waiting 50 minutes before starting, there were 20 people crammed into a truck-like vehicle with poor suspension and we spent some hours bouncing over rough roads. The guide was good and had no control over the numbers (or so we were led to believe) but the experience of crowding was continued on a boat where we ate lunch. We both flet we spent a lot of time and money for relatively little.

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Belle station balnéaire

Nous avons passé un séjour extraordinaire. Le site est magnifique, notre chambre était spacieuse et propre et donnait sur l'une des trois piscines. Les repas étaient bons et le personnel merveilleux. Un grand bravo à Sexy chocolate et au reste de l'équipe d'animation et à Juan à la piscine principale pour ces boissons géniales. Nous reviendrons sans aucun doute, mais nous resterons plus longtemps la prochaine fois. Merci à Diana de Trip Central pour nous avoir recommandé cet endroit magnifique.

Beautiful resort We had an amazing time. The grounds were stunning, our room was spacious and clean and overlooked one of the 3 pools. Meals were good and staff were wonderful. High fives to Sexy chocolate and the rest of the entertainment team and to Juan at the main pool for those awesome drinks. We would definetly return but would stay longer next time. Nous sommes arrivés à Sian Ka'an et mon mari a demandé si nous pouvions être surclassés. Nous avons finalement séjourné à Akumel, dans le bâtiment 83, qui était encore un hébergement de luxe pour adultes. Nous avons mangé, joué au golf et nous sommes promenés dans le parc de Sian Ka'an et nous avons trouvé qu'il était au-dessus de nos attentes. Nous avons également un ami qui y a séjourné et qui nous a dit à quel point c'était agréable. Nous avons joué au golf quatre fois et le terrain de golf e [... lire plus]st maintenu - comme tout le reste - dans un état impeccable. Si vous êtes un adepte de la plage, il se peut que vous trouviez le trajet jusqu'à la plage ennuyeux au bout d'un certain temps, mais la plage est largement surestimée et les piscines ne vous décevront pas. J'y retournerais ? Oui.

A beautiful resort We arrived at Sian Ka'an and my husband asked if we could get an upgrade. We ended up staying at Akumel in Building 83 which was still all adult luxury accommodation. We did eat, golf and wander the grounds at Sian Ka'an and found it to be above expectation. We also have a friend that stayed there and raved about how nice it was. We golfed four times and the golf course is kept - as everything else - in impeccable condition. If you are a "beach" person you may find the trip over to the beach tiresome after awhile but the beach is highly overrated and the pools will not disappoint. Would I go again? Yes.

Nous avions réservé pour Sian Ka'an. Cependant, lorsque nous sommes arrivés, le responsable de la réception a déclaré qu'il n'y avait pas de chambre pour nous. La première nuit, nous sommes restés à Sian Ka'an, sans pouvoir défaire nos bagages, et le lendemain, en fin d'après-midi, nous avons été transférés à Akumal. Nous avons aimé Akumal pour sa proximité avec l'océan et Sian Ka'an pour sa nourriture. Air Transat a eu un problème avec le transport vers l'aéroport le dernier jour. Le bus n'est pas arrivé à l'heure et j'ai dû contacter mon représentant de voyage pour lui poser des questions. Lorsque le minibus est finalement arrivé avec 30 minutes de retard, six voyageurs et leurs bagages se sont sentis comme des sardines dans une boîte pendant ce trajet d'une heure et demie vers l'aéroport. Dans l'ensemble, c'est un bon centre de villégiature. Je lui donnerais 4 étoiles.

Good resort We were booked for Sian Ka'an. However, when we arrived, the front desk officer stated that they had no room for us. For the first night, we stayed at Sian Ka'an, could not unpack, and late afternoon on the following day, we were transferred to Akumal. We liked Akumal for its proximity to the ocean, and Sian Ka'an, for its food. The transportation between both resorts was excellent and efficient, and the arrangement worked well for us. Air Transat had a glitch with the transportation to the airport on the last day. The bus did not come on time, and I had to contact my travel representative with the inquiries. When the minibus finally arrived 30 minutes late, six travellers with their luggage felt like sardines in a can during this 1.5 hour trip to the airport. In overall, good resort. I would give it 4 stars.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Restez à l'écart !

J'ai été à Sian Ka'an au Mexique et je m'attendais au même service, à la même nourriture et aux mêmes chambres, j'ai été totalement déçue. Nous avons passé toute notre semaine au nouveau Fantasia sur le même site, celui-ci vaut la peine (même prix). Même Ambar Green est meilleur à tous points de vue.

Stay away! I've been to Sian Ka'an in Mexico and was expecting the same service, food and rooms, totally disappointed. We spent our whole week at the new Fantasia on the same grounds, that one is worth the money (same price). Even Ambar Green is better on all aspects.
