Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Pas de surprise, un paradis tropical

L'hôtel était bien entretenu et bien organisé. Il est conçu dans le style espagnol classique des établissements Grand Bahia. Il dispose de trois piscines, avec des jets jacuzzi et des bars dans chacune d'entre elles. Les chaises sont nombreuses à la plage, mais il peut être difficile d'en trouver au bord de la piscine. Le personnel s'applique à ratisser la plage si des algues s'y échouent. Nous avons apprécié les trois restaurants de la partie Esmeralda de la propriété et nous aurions pu accéder [... lire plus] à d'autres si nous l'avions souhaité. Tout le personnel que nous avons rencontré pendant notre séjour était amical et serviable. Le WiFi était disponible partout, même à la plage.

No surprise, tropical paradise The hotel was well maintained and well organized. It is styled in the classic Spanish fashion of the Grand Bahia properties. It boasts three pools, with jacuzzi jets and bars at all three. Chairs are plentiful at the beach but can be difficult to secure poolside. Staff are diligent about raking the beach if any seaweed washes up. We enjoyed all 3 restaurants in the Esmeralda part of the property and could have accessed others if we wished. All staff we encountered during our stay were friendly and helpful. WiFi was available throughout, even at the beach.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: LBP Ambar Blue

J'ai choisi ce complexe parce que je voulais des vacances 5 étoiles pour adultes avec une grande plage. Jarius m'a suggéré Ambar Blue. Ma femme était sceptique en raison du prix. Une fois sur place, elle a été stupéfaite. Le complexe est immense, 6 complexes en un. Le terrain est propre et bien éclairé. Les chambres sont grandes, avec des lits king-size, des réfrigérateurs, des coffres-forts et de nombreux placards et tiroirs pour les vêtements. Les salles de bains ont des murs en quartz ou en [... lire plus] pierre, des douches et un jacuzzi. Les piscines sont spacieuses et nettoyées tous les matins. Allez-y tôt le matin pour réserver vos chaises. La plage est grande et il y a beaucoup de chaises pour le soleil et l'ombre. Les activités à la piscine étaient amusantes, il fallait vraiment pousser pour que les gens participent, mais une fois qu'ils le faisaient, c'était excitant, comme une fille qui a gagné la compétition de push up, faisant 67. Les restaurants-buffets de l'Ambar offraient plus de choix que ceux des autres complexes hôteliers. Les plats à la carte étaient délicieux, chacun étant unique. Réservez tôt sur l'application BH. Assurez-vous de voir le spectacle de Michael Jackson le vendredi soir. Les boutiques du village avaient beaucoup de produits identiques et les vendeurs étaient insistants. Le nouveau resort Fantasia était comme Disneyland pour les enfants. Les stations sont bien conçues et il y en a pour tous les goûts. Les prix étaient en dollars américains et il était difficile d'obtenir de petites coupures en pesos dominicains. Le seul problème que nous ayons eu est que la carte de porte ne déverrouillait pas la porte, nous avons donc dû retourner dans le hall pour la faire renouveler. Je ne suis jamais allée deux fois dans le même complexe, mais je retournerais dans celui-ci.

I chose this resort because I wanted a 5 star adult vacation with a great beach. Jarius suggested Ambar Blue. My wife was sceptical due to the price. Once she got there, she was amazed. The resort is huge, 6 resorts in one. The grounds are clean, well lighted. Rooms are big, with king beds, refrigerators, safe, and lots of closet and drawer space for clothes. Bathrooms have quartz or stone walls, with showers and Jacuzzi. The pools are spacious and cleaned every morning. Go early in the a.m. to get your chairs reserved. The beach area is big, lots of chairs for sun and shade. Activities at the pool were fun, they really had to push to make people participate, but once they did it was exciting, such as a girl winning the push up competition, doing 67. The buffet restaurants at Ambar had more selection than the other resorts. The a la cartes, were delicious, each one unique. Make reservations early on the BH app. Make sure you see the Michael Jackson show on Friday evening. The village shops had a lot of the same product and the vendors were pushy. The new resort Fantasia was like Disneyland for the kids. Well thought out. resorts, something for everyone. The staff was friendly and helpful, and was grateful for a tip, Prices were in American dollars, and it was hard to get small denominations of Dominican pesos. The only issue we had was the door card wouldn't unlock the door, so we had to walk back to the lobby and get it renewed. I have never been to the same resort twice, but I would go back to this one.

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Belle apparence, mais pas

L'hôtel a une belle allure et les chambres sont très agréables. Cela s'arrête là. La plage est petite et morcelée, ce qui n'est pas le cas sur les photos. L'hôtel est également déroutant pour se déplacer à l'intérieur en raison des niveaux divisés. L'hôtel a moins d'un an et certains ascenseurs ne fonctionnent pas correctement et restent bloqués. Le service de réparation des drains de douche bouchés et autres problèmes est pathétique. 4 jours pour faire le travail. Les chiens aboient jour et  [... lire plus]nuit depuis le voisinage, ainsi que la fumée nauséabonde. Le personnel n'est pas très intéressé par une nouvelle demande de chambre, nous disant qu'il n'y a rien de disponible pendant une semaine alors que des chambres sont laissées par des clients qui rentrent chez eux le lendemain. La nourriture était correcte mais pas excellente. 2 restaurants sur 6 étaient bons. Des chats sans domicile fixe ont été laissés sur le terrain pour mendier de la nourriture et salir les chaises et les serviettes au bord de la piscine. Le côté positif est que les animations nocturnes étaient excellentes. La plupart du personnel était très sympathique. Tout cela pour seulement 7000$

Looks nice but not The hotel is a nice looking resort and the rooms are very nice . It ends there. The beach area is small and broken up, not what the pictures show. The hotel is also confusing to get around inside because of the split levels. Less than year old and some of the elevaters won't work properly and get stuck. Service to repair clogged shower drains and other problems is pathetic. 4 days to get the job done. Dogs barking day and night from the neighborhood, along with stinking smoke. Staff that is not too interested in assisting wih a new room request, telling us that nothing is available for a week when rooms are being left by quests who are going home the next day. The food was ok but not great. 2 of 6 restaurants where good. Homeless cats left on the grounds begging for food and getting poolside chairs and towels dirty. ON the positive side the night entertainment was excellent. Most of the staff were very friendly. All this for only 7000$

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Des vacances de rêve !

Il n'y a pas de mots pour expliquer le plaisir que j'ai eu en une semaine au Grand Bahia Principe Coba ! Tout était parfait, l'hôtel est incroyable, le personnel est toujours très heureux, le service est 10+, les piscines et la plage OMG sont tout simplement incroyables !!! Je vais y retourner très bientôt, et je recommande à tout le monde d'y jeter un coup d'œil, vous serez stupéfaits !!!

A Dream Vacation! No words can explain how much fun I had in one week at Grand Bahia Principe Coba! Everything was so perfect, the hotel is amazing, the staff always so happy, service is 10+, swimming pools and the beach OMG just increatible!!! I will be going back very soon, and recommend everyone to check it out, you will be amazed!!!

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Un bel hôtel familial qui a besoin d'être rénové

Nous avons séjourné au Gran Bahia Principe Punta Cana du 14 au 21 janvier. Dans l'ensemble, le complexe est très agréable et très accueillant pour les enfants. Malheureusement, les chambres sont très désuètes et sentent le renfermé. Elles n'ont pas été très bien nettoyées et le mini-réfrigérateur n'a pas été réapprovisionné tous les jours. Le terrain de l'hôtel est INCROYABLE et toujours propre. La nourriture était délicieuse - la meilleure de toutes les stations où nous sommes allés.

Nice Family Resort in need of some updating We stayed at the Gran Bahia Principe Punta Cana from Jan 14-21. All in all the resort is very nice and very kid friendly. Unfortunately the rooms are very outdated and smell extremely musty and were not cleaned very well and the minifridge was not restocked daily. The resort grounds were AMAZING and always kept clean. The food as delicious - the best out of any resort we have been to.

C'est un immense complexe hôtelier, avec beaucoup de choses à faire. On ne s'ennuie jamais. Le personnel se surpasse pour que vous vous sentiez le bienvenu. La nourriture est tout simplement incroyable, il y a une grande variété même pour les mangeurs difficiles. Nous avons passé un séjour extraordinaire et nous y retournerons très probablement l'année prochaine !

Best Resort I've Been To! This is a huge resort, lots of things to do. You never get bored. The staff will go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The food is simply amazing, there is a wide variety even for the picky eaters out there. We had an amazing stay and will most likely go again next year!

Cette station est géniale ! Le personnel est fantastique ! La suite était très propre et le terrain était impeccable. Tout le monde était très amical et serviable. La nourriture et les divertissements étaient excellents. Pas de problème avec le transport autour de la station. J'ai passé un très bon moment et je n'ai pas trouvé une seule chose à redire !

Great resort! This resort is great!! The staff here is fantastic! The suite was very clean and the grounds were kept immaculate. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Food and entertainment were great. No problem with transportation around the resort. Had a great time and cannot find one thing to complain about!!

Excellent. Rien à redire. Propre, exotique, spacieux. Accueillant. Nourriture excellente avec beaucoup d'options pour tous les types de mangeurs ; normal, sans gluten, végétarien, végétalien. Beaucoup de choses à faire à l'hôtel ou dans les environs, organisées par l'hôtel ou par l'intermédiaire de l'agence de voyage. Le personnel était exceptionnel, amical et serviable. Nous avons passé un moment fabuleux et nous y retournerons sans aucun doute !

Must Go Here Top notch. No complaints. Clean, exotic, spacious. Welcoming. Great food with lots of options for all types of eaters; regular, gluten free, vegetarian, vegan. Lots to do at the hotel or close by arranged by the hotel or through the tour company. Staff was exceptional, friendly & helpful. We really liked the freedom to go to the different hotels trying different a la carte restaurants or buffets or entertainment. We had a fabulous time & will definitely go back!!

Ce complexe est... petit... mais pas trop petit... calme... relaxant... la nourriture était excellente... beaucoup de choix au buffet... les ala carts étaient délicieux... le personnel est toujours amical et serviable.... L'hôtel était très agréable. Bien entretenu. Les chambres étaient assez propres. Les lits et les oreillers ont besoin d'être améliorés. Les piscines étaient superbes et propres également. Il faudrait des toilettes autour du bar de la piscine. Bonne nourriture dans tout le complexe. Le complexe est immense, mais les trolleys passent fréquemment. Dans l'ensemble, c'est un très bon complexe. Personnel très sympathique

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Grandes vacances

J'ai voyagé du 13 au 20 janvier 2017 avec un ami. Il s'agit d'un solide complexe hôtelier 4 étoiles. Notre chambre était un peu datée, mais propre. Le reste de l'hôtel était très bien. Très belle zone de lobby pour traîner le soir, avec des salles de bains impeccables. La plage était magnifique, du sable blanc et doux, des eaux turquoises et des palmiers - une beauté de carte postale. Nous avons passé pratiquement toute la journée, tous les jours, à la plage. C'est une zone de villégiatur [... lire plus]e très fréquentée, donc la plage est un peu bondée, il n'y a pas de place pour lancer un frisbee, mais c'est parfait pour observer les gens. Cependant, si vous êtes prêts à faire une longue marche, une fois que vous avez passé le Hard Rock, il y a une grande étendue de plage non développée, sans hôtels, maisons, vendeurs ou quoi que ce soit, ce qui était vraiment cool (mais beaucoup de déchets, malheureusement). Le seul inconvénient de la plage est qu'elle est orientée vers le nord-est, ce qui permet de profiter du lever du soleil, mais pas de son coucher. En raison des grands palmiers, la plage était à l'ombre en fin d'après-midi. Certains jours, nous nous sommes rendus à la piscine après 16 heures pour profiter des dernières heures de soleil. Les piscines étaient propres. Il y a eu beaucoup de vent pendant la majeure partie de notre séjour, ce qui a fait que les personnes assises à l'ombre sur la plage étaient parfois un peu frileuses. Le point positif est que cela nous a permis de nous amuser en jouant avec les vagues, mais elles étaient trop grosses pour les enfants. Les deux derniers jours, le vent s'est calmé et il n'y avait pas de vagues. La plupart du temps, le soleil et les nuages se sont mélangés, avec quelques courtes averses. La nourriture était bonne, il y avait beaucoup d'options au buffet, y compris de la cuisine dominicaine, ce qui était agréable. Nous avons mangé dans les restaurants à la carte Mediterranean (fruits de mer), Dominican, et Garden (steak) qui étaient corrects. Le concierge peut faire vos réservations dès votre arrivée. J'ai mangé de tout, y compris de la salade verte, et j'ai bu de l'eau partout, sauf au robinet, et je n'ai jamais été malade. Je me suis brossé les dents avec de l'eau du robinet et je n'ai pas eu de problème. Nous avions demandé deux lits et on nous avait donné une chambre avec un seul lit, mais nous sommes allés déjeuner à la plage en attendant qu'une chambre à deux lits se libère et ils nous ont réaffectés. Malheureusement, c'était la chambre la plus éloignée de la plage, mais la plus proche du hall/buffet, donc vous gagnez un peu/perdez un peu. C'est un grand complexe, ce qui est bon et mauvais. Beaucoup d'activités, beaucoup d'options de restauration, mais aussi un peu de monde à la plage. Mais il y avait beaucoup de chaises à la plage. Il fallait arriver tôt si l'on voulait une chaise longue au premier rang, mais il y en avait toujours une tonne de vides aux troisième et quatrième rangs, même les jours où nous avons fait la grasse matinée. En fin de compte, j'y retournerais et je recommanderais ce complexe à mes amis et à ma famille.

Great Vacation I traveled Jan 13-20, 2017 with a friend. This is a solid 4-star resort. Our room was a bit dated, but clean. The rest of the resort was great. Very nice lobby area for hanging out in the evenings, with spotless bathrooms. Beach was amazing, soft white sand, turquoise waters, and palm trees - postcard beautiful. We spent pretty much all day, every day at the beach. It is a busy resort area so beach is a bit crowded, no room to throw a frisbee, but it's great for people watching. However if you're willing to go for a long walk, once you get past the Hard Rock there is a big stretch of undeveloped beach with no hotels, houses, vendors or anything which was really cool (but a lot of garbage, sadly). The only downside to the beach is that is faces northeast so you get the sunrise, but not sunset. Due to the tall palm trees the beach was in the shade by late afternoon. On a few days we migrated to the pool after 4:00 to catch the last few hours of sun. Pools were clean. It was quite windy for most of our stay which made sitting in the shade at the beach a bit chilly at times. The positive is it made for great fun playing the waves, however the waves were too big for kids. The last two days the wind died down and there were no waves, so we experienced both. Mostly a mix of sun a cloud with just a few short showers. The food was good, lots of options at the buffet, including some Dominican cuisine which was nice. We ate at the Mediterranean (seafood), Dominican, and Garden (steak) a la carte restaurants which were decent. The concierge can make your reservations right after you check in. I ate everything, including salad greens, and drank water everywhere except out of the tap and never got sick. Brushed my teeth with tap water and was fine. We had requested two beds and they had given us a room with only one bed, but we just went to the beach for lunch while they waited for a two-bed room to check out and they re-assigned us. Unfortunately it was the furthest possible room from the beach, but closest to the lobby/buffet so you win some/lose some. This is big resort which is good and bad. Lots of activities, lots of dining options, but also a bit crowded at the beach. But there were lots of chairs at the beach. You had to be there early if you wanted a lounger in the first row, but there were always a ton of empty ones in the third and fourth rows even on the days we slept in. Bottom line is I would go back and would recommend this resort to friends and family.

Le terrain était impeccable, la plage était magnifique et le temps était excellent. La nourriture était comestible, le menu à la carte était terrible, de la réservation au dessert, qui n'est jamais arrivé. Le service était lent, voire inexistant. Le complexe était trop grand à mon goût et les chaises de piscine étaient difficiles à trouver. Cependant, je n'ai pas payé un prix ridicule et j'ai passé un bon moment.

Nothing Special.... The grounds were impeccable, the beach was gorgeous the weather was great. The food was edible, the a la carte was terrible from booking to dessert, however that never came. Service was slow, if you were served at all. The resort was too large for my taste and pool chairs were hard to come by. However, I didn't pay a ridiculous price and had a great time.

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Voyage de détente

La chambre était de très bonne taille et très propre. Bien que le complexe soit immense et très fréquenté, il y a différentes zones où l'on peut se rendre si l'on ne veut pas socialiser. Le terrain, la piscine et la plage sont très propres. C'est notre deuxième séjour dans cet hôtel, je dois dire que le service était bien meilleur la première fois, dommage qu'il s'agisse d'un hôtel très nièce. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié les spectacles. Mon mari et moi avons beaucoup apprécié la soirée j [... lire plus]amaïcaine au restaurant. Ce qui m'a déplu, c'est la nourriture froide au buffet, les réchauds ne fonctionnent pas. Nous avions réservé au restaurant italien, la nourriture et le service étaient excellents. Le service du bar sur la plage était excellent, mais pas vraiment dans le hall. Si vous vous concentrez sur les petites choses qui vous rendent fou, vous passez à côté d'un séjour relaxant et agréable.

Relaxing Trip The room was a very good size and very clean. Although the resort is huge with a lot of people, there are different areas you can go if you don't want to socialize. The grounds, pool and beach area very clean. This is our second time at this hotel, I must say the service was much better the first time, too bad this is a very niece hotel. Enjoyed the shows very much. My husband and I enjoyed the Jamaican night at the Restaurant very much. The turn off for me was the cold food at the buffet, the warmers are not working. We had a reservation at the Italian Restaurant, the food and service was great. The bar service on beach great not so much in the lobby. If you focus on the little thinks that drives you crazy you miss out on having a relaxing and enjoyable time.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Pas comme prévu

Le Grand Bahia Principe est un très beau complexe hôtelier, mais nous nous y sommes sentis à l'étroit et très bruyants. Les chambres sont confortables et spacieuses. Le personnel est absolument formidable mais il était décevant de devoir demander des petites choses comme du café dans la chambre ou des gants de toilette. Il semblait que chaque jour quelque chose était oublié. C'est un lieu de villégiature idéal pour les familles avec enfants, car il y a beaucoup d'activités pour les plus petits.  [... lire plus]La nourriture était très bonne, aussi bien au buffet que dans les restaurants à la carte.

Not as expected The Grand Bahia Principe is a beautiful resort but to us it felt cramped and very loud. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. The staff is absolutely amazing but it was disappointing to have to ask for little things like coffee in the room or washcloths. It seemed that every day something was forgotten. This is a wonderful resort for families with children as there are many activities for the little ones. Food was very good both at the buffet as well as the a la carte restaurants.

Nous venons de passer une semaine dans ce centre de villégiature exceptionnel. Les vues sont à couper le souffle. La nourriture est excellente... le personnel est si serviable et si désireux de plaire. L'endroit parfait pour se détendre et se relaxer. Le complexe était très propre, de la plage à la piscine en passant par la salle à manger et les chambres.

Amazing resort ! Just spent a week at this amazing resort. The views are breathtaking . Excellent food...staff were so helpful and so willing to please. Perfect place to unwind and relax. The complex was so clean from the beach to the pool area to the dining to the guest rooms.

Le personnel était formidable et très attentionné. Nous avons même assisté au nettoyage de la piscine avant que les gens n'y entrent. L'équipe de cuisine, sous la direction du chef, était super. En général, c'était un très bon complexe hôtelier. Tout le monde s'est efforcé de rendre le séjour très agréable.

The resort was amazing and very relaxing. The staff was amazing and very caring. We even witnessed the pool be scrubbed down before people entered the pool. The kitchen staff under the chef was super. In general, This was one very good resort to go to. Everyone worked to make your stay very enjoyable.

The food was great always something new displayed beautifully..The entire staff in the restaurants where all amazing even if you didn't tip they always made sure you where taken care of If you couldn't find something they would go look for you This hotel is one off the nicest places I stayed diffently would come back .

Cet hôtel est extraordinaire du début à la fin. De la réception à nos chambres avec une vue magnifique. Le personnel est formidable. Tout ce que vous vouliez et que vous ne pouviez pas trouver, ils l'obtenaient pour vous. Le menu des oreillers et les parfums dans la chambre étaient excellents. La nourriture était très bonne. Il y en avait pour tous les goûts. La plage était géniale, le terrain était magnifiquement entretenu. J'adore cet endroit et je suis très content d'y être allé.

Amazing Resort This hotel is amazing from start to finish. From the front desk to our rooms with a beautiful view. The staff here was great. What ever you wanted and you couldn't find it they would get if for you. The pillow menu and the scents in the room were great. Food was so good. Something for everyone. The beach was great, the ground were amazing kept. Love this place so glad we went.
