Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Complexe touristique exceptionnel

Le complexe était un endroit idéal pour se détendre et s'amuser. La chambre était excellente. Le service était formidable. Les spectacles étaient excellents. Le buffet avait un grand choix de nourriture pour tout le monde. J'y retournerais sans hésiter.

Amazing Resort The resort was a great place to relax and have fun. The room was excellent. The service was amazing. The shows were great. The buffet had a great selection of food for everyone. I would go back in a heart beat.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Belle station mais quelques problèmes

Pour : Le terrain était magnifiquement entretenu, les piscines étaient agréables, la plage, malgré quelques algues, était superbe ; on trouvait toujours une chaise. Le personnel était sympathique. Les barmans étaient formidables, j'ai donné des pourboires parfois et parfois non, mais j'ai eu un bon service dans tous les cas. Inconvénients : nous n'avons pas eu le choix de la chambre, nous voyagions avec nos enfants adultes et nous avons demandé une chambre avec 2 lits pour eux, nous ne l'avo [... lire plus]ns pas eu - mon fils a dû dormir sur le canapé pour la première nuit et ils n'ont pas été déplacés dans la bonne chambre avant 4 heures le lendemain. Dans leur nouvelle chambre, la douche ne fonctionnait pas, ils ont dû utiliser la nôtre, il a fallu 2 jours et 2 plaintes pour que cela soit réparé. Le service d'étage est une blague, le choix est pauvre, il prend beaucoup de temps (près de 2 heures une fois), les commandes sont erronées (arrivée tardive le premier jour, les buffets étaient fermés et le service d'étage a apporté la nourriture de tout le monde sauf la mienne, je me suis plaint - on m'a dit que c'était en route mais ce n'est jamais arrivé - je n'ai pas eu de dîner le premier jour). Notre réfrigérateur n'a jamais fonctionné, nous nous sommes plaints - il a fallu 2 jours pour que quelqu'un vienne - il a dit qu'il était réparé mais il ne l'était pas, nous nous sommes plaints à nouveau - il semblait être réparé mais il est tombé en panne à nouveau - nous avons abandonné. L'approvisionnement du mini-frigo n'était pas régulier, il n'y avait jamais tous les articles listés dans le livre d'information dans la chambre, mais tout était chaud donc cela n'avait pas vraiment d'importance. Notre chambre est devenue de plus en plus chaude au fil de la semaine, j'ai dû dormir avec une serviette froide et humide une nuit, j'étais tellement désespérée, je me suis plainte et je pense que quelqu'un a essayé de faire quelque chose, il faisait un peu plus froid mais la chambre sentait l'égout. Il n'y a pas grand chose à faire le soir, tout ferme assez tôt, seuls la discothèque et le casino sont ouverts plus tard, ce serait bien s'ils avaient un salon ouvert plus tard, au moins jusqu'à 1 heure, où vous pourriez prendre une boisson et des collations

Beautiful resort but some problems Pros: The grounds were beautifully maintained, the pools were nice, the beach although some seaweed was great; always found a chair. The staff were friendly. The bartenders were great, I tipped sometimes and sometimes not but got good service either way. Cons: did not get our room choice, was travelling with our adult children and requested a room with 2 beds for them, we didn't get it--my son had to sleep on the sofa for the first night and they didn't get moved to the right room until 4 the next day. In their new room the shower didn't work, they had to use ours, took 2 days and 2 complaints to get it fixed. Room service is a joke, selection is poor, takes for ever (close to 2hrs one time), orders are wrong (arrived late the first day, buffets closed and room service brought everyone's food except mine, complained- told it was on its way but it never came- I had no diner on my first day). Our fridge never worked, complained - took 2 days for someone to come - said it was fixed but it wasn't, complained again seemed to be fixed but died again- we gave up. The stocking of the mini fridge was inconsistent never had all the items they listed on the info book in the room but everything was warm so it didn't really matter. Our room got hotter as the week went on, had to sleep with a cold wet towel one night, I was so desperate; complained and I think someone tried to do something, it was slightly colder but the room smelled like a sewer. Not much to do at night, everything closes down pretty early, only the disco and casino are open later, would be good if they had a lounge that was open later at least till 1 where you could get a drink and snacks

Le buffet propose une grande variété de plats tous les jours, et le soir, le restaurant à la carte Alux Sian Kian est un must. Les alcools de qualité supérieure servis le soir sont splendides. Le personnel est un excellent animateur et veille à ce que les gens restent actifs. Il y a un transport toutes les 10 minutes de notre hôtel à la plage, pas une seule fois nous avons attendu longtemps. Les services du majordome comme les arômes parfumés au choix disponibles sans frais, juste des pourboires. Nous recommandons vivement les excursions telles que le spectacle nocturne de Xcaret, Tulum et Jungle Maya pour une véritable aventure et pour la merveille culturelle du monde, Chichen Itza.

Awesome resort! The food at the buffet had great varieties everyday, à la carte Alux Sian Kian a must in the evening. The premium alcohol served at night are splendid. The staff are great entertainers and keeping people active. There's a transportation every 10 minutes from our hotel to the beach not once we waited long. Hotel overall professionally maintained and beautiful junior suite room fridge filled everyday with alcohol included. Services from the butler like aromas scented of choice available for no cost just tips. Highly recommend excursions such as Xcaret late night show Tulum&Jungle Maya for a real adventure and for culture wonder of the world Chichen Itza.

Le personnel et les hôtes étant majoritairement hispanophones, nous n'avons pas eu l'occasion de rencontrer beaucoup de monde pendant notre séjour. La nourriture et les boissons étaient abondantes, mais les îles ont une saveur très différente pour tout.

The staff were all very polite, friendly and professional. We never felt wary or uncomfortable at any time. Food and drink were always available. We were grateful for being in a quiet part of the resort, but appreciated the option to join festivities when we wanted to. Coming from Canada, we don't know any Spanish and the staff knew very little English so it was often difficult to ask questions. But everyone was very eager to assist. Both staff and guests were mostly Spanish speaking so we didn't socialize with many people during our stay. The food and drink was plentiful, but the islands have a very different flavour to everything.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Belle station balnéaire

Le personnel était très sympathique, la nourriture était délicieuse, le service était excellent ! La seule chose que je n'ai pas aimée, c'est la plage. Elle était très rocailleuse et n'était pas d'un bleu limpide comme on pourrait l'imaginer dans une destination tropicale. Mais à environ 10 minutes de marche, la plage est plus belle. Dans l'ensemble, c'était bien. La route est longue depuis l'aéroport de Cancun ! 1.5 heures.

Beautiful resort The staff were very friendly, food was delicious, service was great! The only thing I did not like was the beach. It was very rocky and not clear blue as you would imagine a tropical destination. But about 10 mins walk away the beach is nicer. Overall it was nice. A long way from the airport in cancun! 1.5 hours.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: De superbes vacances !

Nous avons séjourné au Grand Bahia PrÃncipe, qui fait partie d'un complexe comprenant Bavaro, Esmerelda et d'autres complexes hôteliers situés sur le même site. Préparez-vous à marcher ou à prendre le chariot qui passe très souvent sur 3-4 "routes" principales pour aller du hall et du buffet à la plage avec des arrêts entre temps pour les piscines ou vos villas. Les chambres étaient agréables et propres, même si elles n'étaient pas toujours entièrement réapprovisionnées (mouchoirs, articles de t [... lire plus]oilette, serviettes), mais elles étaient propres et spacieuses. Le buffet était toujours très varié, avec des fruits frais et de bons desserts, et un thème chaque soir pour varier les plaisirs. J'aurais aimé qu'il y ait un snack près des deux piscines géantes au milieu du complexe car nous buvions dans le bar de la piscine mais il n'y avait rien à grignoter. Il y a un snack bar/buffet aux piscines "principales" juste avant la plage. Ces piscines sont toujours bondées et nous ont semblé moins propres et moins paisibles. Les enfants ont un fabuleux parc aquatique avec des toboggans qui est fantastiquement divertissant pour les enfants. Le wifi est minimal (dans le hall humide pendant une heure par jour), ce qui peut être une bénédiction ou une malédiction selon vos besoins. Les boissons étaient fortes et délicieuses. Je recommanderais cet hôtel et cette chaîne.

Great vacation! We stayed at the Grand Bahia Príncipe which is part of a complex including Bavaro, Esmerelda and some other resorts all in the same grounds. Be prepared to walk or take the trolley which passes very often on 3-4 main "roads" to get from the lobby and buffet area to the beach with stops in between for the pools or your villas. Rooms were nice and clean although not always fully re-stocked (tissue, toiletries, towels) but clean and spacious. The buffet had a great selection all the time with fresh fruits and great desserts and a theme each night for variety. I would have liked a snack station near to the 2 giant pools in the middle of the complex as we were drinking in the swim up bar but nothing to munch on. There is a snack bar/buffet at the "main" pools just before the beach. Those pools are always crowded and seemed less clean and peaceful for us. The kids have a fabulous water park with slides which is fantastically entertaining for the kids. The wifi is minimal (in the steamy lobby for 1 hour a day) which can be a blessing or a curse depending on your needs. Drinks were strong and yummy. I would recommend this resort and def this chain.

L'hôtel est parfait. Les chambres sont très grandes et propres, le restaurant et les bars sont toujours à la hauteur, le personnel est très gentil. Le trajet de l'aéroport à l'hôtel est à couper le souffle avec une vue magnifique. Les piscines sont propres. Tout était extraordinaire

Nous sommes arrivés vers midi. L'enregistrement a été rapide, le personnel était amical et serviable. Le complexe est très bien entretenu et le personnel se surpasse pour vous satisfaire. La nourriture était excellente, avec une variété de buffets et de restaurants à choisir. Nous y retournerons.

Amazing vacation! We arrived around noon. The check in was fast, the staff was friendly and helpful. The resort is very well kept, the staff will go above and beyond to please you. The food was great, with a variety of bufets and restaurants to shoose from. Will be going back.

L'hôtel est un lieu de séjour idéal, mais il est très grand et si vous n'aimez pas marcher, vous devez attendre le trolley. Excellente hospitalité et personnel sympathique. Je reviendrai certainement et je le recommanderai à d'autres personnes. Il y a de nombreux restaurants à la carte et beaucoup de choix. Le buffet n'était pas mal, bonne variété parfois pas le meilleur cependant. Le snack-bar est ouvert et accessible à tout moment, ce qui est très pratique. Great hotel and stay The hotel is a great resort to stay at, however it is very large so if you don't like walking you must wait for the trolly. Excellent hospitality and friendly staff. Defiantly would come again and recommend to others. There are many a la Carte restaurants and plenty to choose from. The buffet was not bad good variety sometimes not the greatest however. The snack bar being open and accessible at almost anytime is very convenient. Overall a great place to stay.

Le terrain est bien entretenu, la nourriture est abondante et très bonne, le personnel est très aimable et sympathique, les chambres sont propres, le complexe est très propre, les divertissements sont excellents, il y a beaucoup d'activités pendant la journée. Je ne recommanderais pas l'excursion au Luminous Lagoon, perte de temps et d'argent.

Wonderful resort! Well kept grounds, abundance of food and very very good, staff are very mannerly and friendly, clean rooms, very clean resort, entertainment was great, lots of activities during the day. Would not recommend Luminous Lagoon excursion, waste of time and money.

Ce complexe comprend deux sections : Ambar 1, qui se trouve au bord de la plage et qui est une partie plus ancienne, et Ambar 2, qui est plus éloigné de la plage et qui est plus récent, ce qui signifie que les chambres sont un peu plus belles. Si vous séjournez dans l'Ambar 2, vous pourrez marcher 8 à 10 minutes jusqu'à la plage ou prendre l'une des navettes efficaces de l'hôtel (ce n'est pas une grosse affaire). Les restaurants peuvent être réservés par courriel deux semaines avant le dépar [... lire plus]t. Je vous conseille de le faire car vous pouvez les changer sur place. #1 Bella Italia à Esmeralda, #2 Don Pablo, #3 Rodizio. Je ne recommanderais pas Portofino ni aucun autre restaurant japonais. Nourriture du petit déjeuner et du déjeuner 9/10, un peu plus que les 5 étoiles habituelles du DR. Divertissements - les spectacles habituels tous les soirs, amusants si c'est la première fois que vous les voyez. À l'ambar 1, il y a un animateur en direct de 8 à 10h30, bon pour se détendre ou danser. Dans l'ensemble, c'est un bon hôtel !

Beautiful resort This resort has two sections Ambar 1 which is at beach area and is an older part, Ambar 2 which is further from the beach and is newer so therefore the rooms are a little nicer. If you stay in 2, it is a straight 8-10 minute walk to the beach or you can take one of their efficient shuttles, (not a big deal). The restaurants can be booked by email 2 weeks prior to departure. I would suggest that you do this as you can change them when there. #1 Bella Italia at Esmeralda, #2 Don Pablo, #3 Rodizio. Would not recommend Portofino or either Japanese rest. Breakfast and lunch foods 9/10, a little above most typical DR 5 stars. Entertainment- the usual shows everynight, fun if this is your first time seeing them. At ambar 1 they have a live entertainer 8-10:30, good for relaxing or dancing. Overall good resort!

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Hôtel exceptionnel

Très bonne situation. Les chambres sont spacieuses et spacieuses, la nourriture est très bonne, personne n'est tombé malade. Très bon service à la clientèle. Dommage que cet hôtel devienne un hôtel pour adultes dans un futur proche. Les sondages sont un peu trop chauds et ne permettent pas de se rafraîchir. Les enfants se sont beaucoup amusés grâce à la navette qui se rendait dans les autres complexes toutes les deux minutes, très belle zone pour les enfants avec des toboggans aquatiques.

Amazing hotel Good location . Verry good food no one got sick.Nice big specious rooms . Great customer service . To bad this will be all adult hotel in the near future. Polls little bit to hot not great for cooling . Kids had lots of fun as the shuttle going in to the other resorts every couple minutes , verry nice kids are with water slides .

L'hôtel est très confortable. Le personnel est très sympathique. La plage est magnifique. La propriété est très bien entretenue. La climatisation dans les chambres fonctionne très bien, la meilleure que j'aie connue dans une île. Le seul inconvénient est qu'il faut se lever tôt pour réserver des chaises.

Fun times Hotel is very comfortable. Staff is very friendly. Beach is beautiful. Property is very well kept. AC in the rooms works really well, best I've experienced in an island location. Only downside is that you have to get up early to reserve chairs.

Nous avons séjourné au Gran Bahia PrÃncipe Punta Cana et nous avons adoré et apprécié chaque instant dans ce complexe. Le service, la nourriture, les chambres, tout était exceptionnel. Nous recommandons vivement cet hôtel. Nous reviendrons sans aucun doute !

Best vacation ever We stayed at the Gran Bahia Príncipe Punta Cana we loved and enjoyed every moment in that resort. Service, food, rooms, everything was exceptional. We definitely recommend this hotel . We would for sure come back !
