Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Punta Cana: complexe hôtelier exceptionnel

Je tiens à remercier trois employés exceptionnels qui nous ont aidés au Punta Can Hard Rock. Ils se sont mis en quatre pour nous aider. Ramone du service d'étage, Daniella du bar de la piscine Bongos et Yoao, le groom. Ils ont tous rendu notre séjour beaucoup plus agréable grâce à leur excellent service et nous ont mis très à l'aise.

amazing resort I would like to give a shout out to 3 special employees that helped us at punta can hard rock. they went out of there way to help us out. Ramone in room service and Daniella at the Bongos pool bar and Yoao the bellman. They all made our stay much better with great service and making us feel very comfortable

Ocean Blue and Sand: Belle station balnéaire

C'était un hôtel agréable, même s'il ne s'agissait pas d'un complexe 5 étoiles. Les chambres étaient usées. Elles ont vraiment besoin d'être rénovées. Les boissons servies au bar étaient mauvaises... elles ne contenaient presque pas d'alcool. La serveuse du bar de la plage n'était pas très aimable. Je ne suis pas un grand buveur, mais j'aime bien déguster un cocktail de temps en temps. La direction devrait également prendre des mesures concernant la réservation des chaises longues à la plage et  [... lire plus]autour de la piscine. Les gens les réservaient tôt le matin, à 7 heures, et ne se présentaient pas avant midi. Une seule personne venait occuper plusieurs transats pour tout un groupe de 10 personnes ou plus. Ce n'était pas bien. À part cela, le personnel était sympathique dans les restaurants et à la réception. Le service de nettoyage des chambres était également bon.

Nice Resort It was a nice hotel although not a 5 star resort overall. Rooms were worn out. Definitely need an upgrade. Drinks at the bar were afoul.. hardly any alcohol in them. Lady at the beach bar not very friendly. I’m not a big drinker although I’d like to enjoy my cocktail ones in a while. Also the management had to do something about reserving the lounge chairs at the beach as well as around the pool area. People reserve them early in the morning 7 am and not show up half the day. One person comes and occupies multiple chairs for whole group of 10 or more. Not good. Other than, staff were friendly at the restaurants and reception area. Room cleaning service also good.

Royalton Splash Punta Cana: Séjour merveilleux !

C'était un endroit magnifique avec beaucoup de choses à faire. Le personnel était très compétent et sympathique. Il y avait tellement d'activités amusantes, notamment les spectacles hommage à Michael Jackson et aux Beatles, qui ont été deux moments forts. Mon fils et moi avons également fait du parachute ascensionnel.

Wonderful stay! It was a wonderful spot and lots to do. Staff were so good and friendly. There were so many fun activities, the Michael Jackson and Beatles tribute shows being two highlights. Myself and my son also went parasailing.

JOIA Bavaro by Iberostar: L'Iberostar Joy-a était excellent... encore une fois.

La perfection absolue, encore une fois ! C'était notre 6e ou 7e séjour au Joia Bávaro by Iberostar, et chaque fois, c'est encore mieux. Ce complexe hôtelier est vraiment devenu notre deuxième maison. Houston, notre majordome, était exceptionnel : professionnel, attentionné et sincèrement prévenant. Il s'est occupé de chaque détail à la perfection. Ery, au bar de la piscine, était incroyable. Il préparait de délicieuses boissons avec une énergie joyeuse et accueillante qui nous donnait envie d [... lire plus]e revenir. Les matins étaient égayés par Ortiz, au buffet, dont la chaleur et le service amical donnaient le ton parfait pour la journée. Le terrain de golf était un rêve, exactement ce dont nous, Canadiens, avons besoin en janvier : luxuriant, magnifique et parfait pour échapper à l'hiver chez nous. Du personnel exceptionnel aux magnifiques jardins en passant par le service irréprochable, Joia Bávaro continue de dépasser nos attentes. Nous n'hésiterons pas à revenir et nous attendons déjà avec impatience notre prochaine visite. Nous le recommandons vivement.

Iberostar Joy-a was excellent……again Absolute perfection—again! This was our 6th or 7th stay at Joia Bávaro by Iberostar, and it somehow gets better every time. This resort has truly become our home away from home. Houston, our butler, was exceptional—professional, attentive, and genuinely caring. He made every detail seamless. Ery at the pool bar was incredible, crafting great drinks with a fun, welcoming energy that kept us coming back. Mornings were made brighter by Ortiz at the buffet, whose warmth and friendly service set the perfect tone for the day. The golf course was a dream, and exactly what we Canadians need in January—lush, beautiful, and a perfect escape from winter back home. From the outstanding staff to the beautiful grounds and flawless service, Joia Bávaro continues to exceed expectations. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and already can’t wait for our next visit. Highly, highly recommended.

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Superbe complexe hôtelier en République dominicaine

Le Luxury Esmeralda disposait d'un superbe aménagement paysager et de magnifiques piscines avec bars aquatiques. Notre chambre donnait directement sur la piscine, ce qui était très agréable après une longue promenade sur la plage de Bavaro. Notre chambre correspondait exactement à nos attentes et était toujours très bien entretenue par le personnel de l'hôtel. Le service était excellent. Alexa, à la réception, parlait particulièrement bien anglais et nous a donné de bons conseils sur notre séjou [... lire plus]r et sur la façon de se déplacer dans tous les complexes Bahía Príncipe. Le personnel chargé des activités a également fait un travail formidable. Nous avons participé à des cours d'aquagym tous les jours pendant notre séjour. Dans l'ensemble, les restaurants à la carte étaient très bons. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié les restaurants mongol et naan, ainsi que le restaurant de steaks MEAT (Grand Punta Cana). Le bar sportif était idéal pour suivre les événements sportifs et leurs plats/snacks étaient excellents. Merci pour votre hospitalité !

Great DR resort Luxury Esmeralda had great landscaping and wonderful pools for swimming and swimup bars. Our room had a swimup to our room and it was refreshing after a long walk on Bavaro Beach. Our room was exactly what we expected and the room was always made up very well by the hotel staff. The service was excellent at the hotel. In particular Alexa at the front desk spoke good english and advices us on our stay and how to get around all of the Bahía Príncipe resorts. The activity staff did an awesome job as well. We joined in on Aquafit every day that we were on site. Overall, very good a la carte restaurants. We loved the Mongolian and Naan restaurants as well as the MEAT steak restaurant (Grand Punta Cana) the best. The sports bar was excellent to catch up on sports and their food/snacks were superb. Thank you for your hospitality!

Dreams Onyx Resort and Spa: Dreams Onyx : avis honnête

Dreams Onyx a répondu à toutes nos attentes, et même plus. La suite de l'hôtel était spacieuse, propre et moderne. Les jardins étaient bien entretenus et très beaux. Les piscines étaient grandes et peu fréquentées. La rivière lente, les toboggans aquatiques et la piscine étaient très agréables et généralement un peu ombragés l'après-midi. Nous n'avons jamais eu de mal à trouver des chaises longues. La plage était très sablonneuse et propice à la baignade. Il y avait des algues, mais elles étaien [... lire plus]t régulièrement retirées, ce qui ne posait généralement pas de problème. La nourriture dans les restaurants et au buffet était très bonne, mais pas exceptionnelle. Le buffet proposait un large choix de plats. Le Coco Cafe servait le meilleur café. Les animations étaient généralement assez bonnes. Les bars proposaient les boissons habituelles et nous n'avions pas pris le forfait préférentiel, donc nous ne savons pas s'ils proposaient une meilleure sélection d'alcools haut de gamme. Dans l'ensemble, le personnel était accueillant et soucieux de nous satisfaire, et nous n'avons eu aucun problème. Je recommanderais cet hôtel aux familles ou aux adultes.

Dreams Onyx honest review Dreams Onyx was everything we expected and more. The hotel suite was spacious, clean and modern. The grounds were well maintained and quite beautiful. the pools were large and not crowded. the Lazy River, water slides and pool was very nice and usually a bit in the shade in the afternoon. There was never an issue finding lounge chairs. The beach was very sandy and swimmable. There was sea grass but it was regularly removed so not usually an issue. The food at the restaurants and buffet was very good but not exceptional. There was a wide array of food selection at the buffet. The Coco Cafe had the best coffee. The entertainment was generally quite good. The bars had the normal drinks and we did not have the preferred package so don't know if they had a better selection of top shelf alcohol. Overall the staff were welcoming and wanting to please and we had no issues whatso ever. I would recommend this resort for families or adults.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Emplacement idéal - 3e visite. Quelques points à prendre en considération cependant.

L'Ambar est un hôtel charmant avec un personnel formidable, une superbe plage et une piscine, mais il aurait besoin d'être rafraîchi. C'était notre troisième séjour. La dernière fois, c'était il y a environ dix ans. Certaines chambres sont un peu vieillottes. Le représentant de Bahia Principe a tenu à préciser que plusieurs autres hôtels du groupe avaient récemment été rafraîchis et rénovés ; c'est maintenant au tour de l'Ambar. Cela dit, les animations étaient superbes et la plupart des rest [... lire plus]aurants excellents. Le service était bon. Seule exception, et pas dans le bon sens du terme, Maiko : c'était le chaos, de l'accueil au dessert. Limbo et Portofino étaient fabuleux. N'oubliez pas d'emporter un spray anti-moustiques si vous avez tendance à vous faire piquer par les mouches des sables. Mon mari a été piqué plusieurs fois aux jambes (moi pas, allez comprendre) et ça le démangeait beaucoup. Dans l'ensemble, je retournerais dans cet hôtel, mais je vérifierais d'abord si les rénovations ont été effectuées. Notre expérience avec Bahia Principe a été globalement bonne, et leur application améliorée est super.

Great location-3rd visit. Some things to consider though The Ambar is a lovely hotel with wonderful staff, great beach and pool, but it's due for a refresh. This was our 3rd visit. The last time was about 10 years ago. Some of the rooms are a bit tired. Bahia Principe rep made a point of saying that a couple of the other hotels in the group had recently been refreshed and renovated; time for the Ambar to have its turn. Having said that, entertainment was great, most restaurants wonderful. Service good. Exception, and not in a good way, Maiko; it was Chaos from the hostess to dessert. Limbo and Portofino were fabulous. Do bring along some bug spray if you tend to get bitten by sand flies--my husband got a lot of bites on his legs (I have none, go figure) and they were really itchy. All in all, I would go back to this hotel but would be checking to see if the renovations were done first. Our experience with Bahia Principe has been good overall, and their upgraded app is super.

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Merveilleux

Les jardins étaient magnifiques et bien entretenus. Le personnel était sympathique et serviable, et a résolu notre problème. Nous n'étions pas sûrs de la date de retour, et Luis a téléphoné pour obtenir les informations dont nous avions besoin. La nourriture était délicieuse. J'ai particulièrement apprécié les fruits frais et la variété des salades. J'ai aimé aller dans les restaurants à la carte à l'extérieur du complexe. Il y avait un grand choix.

Wonderful The grounds were beautiful, well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful, solved our problem for use. We weren’t sure about return pickup and Luis phoned to get the information we needed. The food was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the fresh fruit and the varieties of salad. I liked going to the a la carte restaurants off site. Great choices available.

Riu Palace Macao: Superbes vacances

Au début, notre chambre était horrible, mais je suis allé à la réception qui m'a dit de revenir à 15 h. Je l'ai fait et ils m'ont donné les clés d'une autre chambre, 100 % mieux, et j'ai déménagé après la première nuit. Le buffet était bon, mais si vous n'êtes pas là dès l'ouverture, si vous voulez des plats chauds, vous devez trouver quelqu'un qui prépare quelque chose, car les plats chauds étaient généralement froids (un micro-ondes aurait pu aider). Great vacation Our room at first was horrible but went to front desk told be to return at 3pm, I did and they gave me keys for another room to check it out 100 percent better and moved after the first night. Buffet was good but if not there when first open if you want hot food you need to find someone making something any hot food sitting was normally cool (microwave might have helped) overall thou great time and meet great people!

Dreams Onyx Resort and Spa: Fortement recommandé

Superbe complexe hôtelier, propre, bien entretenu, personnel incroyablement sympathique, bons restaurants, rien à redire. Pas besoin de réserver au restaurant, c'est génial. Le camion à tacos est formidable. Facile d'obtenir une chaise longue au bord de la piscine. Pas besoin de carte pour les serviettes, c'est parfait.

Highly Recommend Great resort, clean, well maintained, amazing friendly staff, good restaurants, zero complaints. No reservations at restaurant is great. Taco truck is awesome. Easy to get a pool chair. No towel cards is the way to go.

Majestic Colonial Punta Cana Beach Resort: Superbe complexe hôtelier et plages magnifiques

- C'était notre deuxième séjour au Majestic Colonial - VIP club - - L'enregistrement a pris beaucoup plus de temps que nécessaire (1 à 2 heures) - À notre arrivée dans la chambre, nous avons constaté qu'elle ne correspondait pas à notre demande (deux lits, rez-de-chaussée). Nous étions au 4e étage et il n'y avait qu'un seul lit. Nous avons dû attendre que nos bagages soient montés dans la chambre, puis attendre qu'ils nous trouvent une autre chambre. Nous ne pouvions pas quitter la chambre avant [... lire plus] l'arrivée de nos bagages. Nous avons ensuite dû descendre au service clientèle pour faire changer nos bracelets, puis nous rendre dans notre nouvelle chambre. - La femme de chambre n'était pas très attentive, je lui ai donc parlé pour lui faire part de mes attentes et lui expliquer comment elle pouvait s'améliorer pour le bien des autres clients. Après cette discussion, elle a été excellente ! - Les repas à la carte étaient excellents. - Les buffets offraient un large choix. - Les plages étaient incroyables ! - Il était difficile de trouver des chaises longues / cabines. Il y en avait beaucoup avec des serviettes dessus, mais personne aux alentours. Cela n'a rien à voir avec le complexe hôtelier, mais plutôt avec les clients.

Great resort and beaches - this was our 2nd visit to Majestic Colonial -VIP club - - Checking in took a lot longer than necessary (1-2hrs) - arrived at our room to find out that it wasn't what we requested (two beds, ground floor). We were on the 4th floor and only one bed. We had to wait for our luggage to get up to the room, then wait for them to find us another room. We couldn't leave the room until our luggage arrived. Then we had to go down to guest services and get our bracelets changed and then go to our new room. - butler was not very attentive, so I had a little chat with her and let her know what was expected from her and how she could improve for the benefit of other guests. After this chat she was excellent!! - a la carte meals were excellent. - buffets had lots of selection - beaches were amazing!!! - it was difficult to find chairs / cabanas. There were a lot with towels on them, but no one was around. This has nothing to do with the resort, but more to do with guests

Melia Punta Cana Beach Wellness Resort Adults: Critique mitigée

Je commencerai cette critique en précisant que notre principale motivation pour ce voyage était de jouer au golf, et l'expérience a été excellente. La navette vers et depuis le Cocotal était toujours à l'heure et le chauffeur était serviable. Quant au complexe hôtelier lui-même, nous avons dépensé plus d'argent pour profiter de l'expérience The Level, mais celle-ci s'est avérée décevante. L'enregistrement a pris beaucoup trop de temps et le fait que nous ayons dû porter nous-mêmes nos bagages et [... lire plus] nos clubs de golf jusqu'à notre chambre après 12 heures de voyage est tout simplement inacceptable. Nous avons fait appel à notre concierge The Level pour confirmer nos réservations dans les restaurants à la carte, mais il ne l'a pas fait. À trois reprises, lorsque nous sommes arrivés au restaurant, aucune réservation n'avait été enregistrée pour nous. Le trajet entre le hall et la section The Level était assez long et l'attente pour le tramway était étonnamment longue. À plusieurs reprises, nous avons préféré marcher plutôt que d'attendre... Le seul avantage de The Level était le bar sur le toit, où le personnel était formidable et les boissons tout aussi excellentes. Quant à notre chambre, nous avons dû faire réparer notre téléphone, notre coffre-fort ne fonctionnait pas et nous avons dû demander de l'eau et des dosettes de café, car ils ne les avaient pas réapprovisionnées. Malheureusement, nous avons payé pour le service Level, mais nous ne l'avons pas obtenu... La plage était magnifique, la nourriture était correcte, la piscine réservée aux clients du Level était petite mais remplissait son rôle. Nous avons séjourné dans de nombreux établissements Melia et celui-ci a été notre expérience la plus décevante. Nous ne reviendrons pas dans cet établissement. Merci au personnel du bar sur le toit, qui était formidable, très arrangeant et adorable. Le golf et le personnel ont été les points forts de notre séjour.

Mixed Review I will start this review with the fact that our primary reason for travelling was for the golf experience and it was excellent. The shuttle back and forth to the Cocotal was always on time and the driver was helpful. As for the resort itself we spent the extra money for The Level experience but this was disappointing. From our check in which took far too long and the fact that we had to carry our own bags and golf clubs to our room after travelling for 12 hours would be deemed unacceptable. We relied on our concierge in The Level to confirm our bookings for our a la carte restaurants and they failed to do so whereby on 3 occasions when we arrived at our restaurant they had no booking for us. The commute from the lobby to the Level section was quite far and the wait for a trolly took surprisingly long. On several occasions we walked instead of waiting... The only perk of the Level was the rooftop bar where the staff was amazing and the drinks equally so. As for our room, we had to have our phone fixed, our safe did not work, and we had to request both water and coffee pods as they failed to replenish them. Sadly we paid for Level service but did not get it... The beach was lovely, the food was ok, the pool for the Level guests was small but served its purpose. We have stayed at many Melia properties and this was our most disappointing experience. We will not be returning to this property. Thank you to the wonderful rooftop staff that were so accommodating and lovely. The golf and they were our highlights.

Barcelo Bavaro Palace: Bon complexe hôtelier

Dans l'ensemble, le complexe hôtelier était bien. Il est proche de la plage, les piscines sont agréables et il y a beaucoup d'activités à faire. Cependant, la nourriture n'est pas très bonne, en particulier au restaurant international, les plats manquent de saveur, et le wifi ne fonctionne pas bien si votre chambre est éloignée du hall.

Good resort The resort in general was good. It is close to the beach, the pools are nice, many activities to do. However food is not too good, specially the international restaurant, food lacks of taste, and the wifi is not good is your room is away from the lobby.

Note globale : 2/5 Cet hôtel n'a pas répondu à nos attentes et ne devrait pas être présenté comme un établissement 5 étoiles. Bien que l'agencement des chambres soit adapté aux familles et que les jeunes enfants aient apprécié l'aire de jeux aquatique, l'expérience globale a été inégale et frustrante, en particulier lorsque l'on voyage en groupe avec des couples, des enfants et des grands-parents. Parmi les autres inconvénients, citons les équipements de chambre incohérents, l'absence de bar à café dédié, la décoration basique dans tout le complexe, les menus de boissons limités et un club pour enfants qui n'autorise pas la participation des parents. Bien qu'il soit présenté comme étant en bord de mer, la plage se trouve à au moins 15 minutes à pied. Dans l'ensemble, nous sommes venus sur la base de recommandations et d'avis élogieux, mais nous ne reviendrons pas. Pour un prix similaire, des complexes comme Lopesan offrent une expérience bien supérieure, plus raffinée et plus fiable.

This is not it Overall Rating: 2/5 This resort fell well short of expectations and should not be marketed as a 5-star property. While the room layout works well for families and young kids enjoyed the splash pad, the overall experience was inconsistent and frustrating—especially when travelling as a larger group with couples, children, and grandparents. Major issues included the lack of a resort app, making basic tasks like restaurant reservations inefficient and confusing. Language barriers with many staff made it difficult to get help or provide feedback, often leading us to give up altogether. Dining was a significant disappointment: over an entire week, we were only able to secure one à la carte reservation for two people. Multiple times, reservations for our full group were “confirmed” only to be missing when we arrived. If à la cartes are important to you, this is not the resort. Cleanliness and maintenance need serious improvement. Rooms showed signs of wear, furniture was dirty, appliances malfunctioned, and housekeeping was below average even with tipping. The grounds and pools lacked upkeep, with visible litter and residue left unattended for days. Hospitality also felt lacking—service was often slow or dismissive, and tipping did not improve the experience. Additional drawbacks included inconsistent room amenities, no designated coffee bar, basic décor throughout the resort, limited drink menus, and a kids club that does not allow parent participation. Despite being marketed as beachfront, the beach is at least a 15-minute walk away. Overall, we came based on recommendations and high reviews but would not return. For a similar price point, resorts like Lopesan offer a far superior, more polished, and reliable experience.

Ocean Blue and Sand: Superbe complexe hôtelier

J'ai passé 10 jours à Ocean Blue and Sand. Je n'ai eu aucun problème. Le personnel était excellent. La nourriture était délicieuse et les animations géniales. Tout le monde était très sympathique. Je recommande cet hôtel et j'y retournerais sans hésiter. J'ai fait une chute sur le sol irrégulier, je me suis tordu la cheville et blessé au poignet.

Amazing resort I was at Ocean blue and sand for 10 days. Never had one problem. Staff was excellent. Food was great great entertainment. Everybody was very friendly. I would recommend this and I would definitely go back I had a fall on the grounds uneven pavement twisted my ankle and hurt my wrist

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Excellent séjour au Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour au Wyndham Alltra ! Le complexe est très propre et magnifique, avec une piscine incroyable. Les plats proposés au buffet étaient toujours frais, bien préparés et en quantité plus que suffisante. Nous reviendrons l'année prochaine et recommanderons ce complexe à nos amis. Merci à tous !

Great stay at Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana We had a wonderful time at Wyndham Alltra! The resort is very clean and beautiful with amazing swimming pool. The food in buffet was always fresh, well-prepared and more than enough. Will be back next year and will recommend this resort to our friends. Thanks to everyone!
