Valentin Perla Blanca: Un centre de villégiature formidable !

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au Valentin Perla Blanca. L'hôtel est magnifique, les chambres sont très propres, il y avait un groupe de musique différent chaque soir dans le hall, la plage est vraiment belle et longue, idéale pour les promenades.

Awesome resort! We had a great time at Valentin Perla Blanca. The hotel looks amazing, rooms are very clean, there was a different live band playing in the lobby each night, the beach is really nice and long, good for walks.

Memories Paraiso: Vacances relaxantes

Ma femme et moi étions 1-8 Dec 2014, Overal la qualité a diminué depuis la dernière fois que nous étions là (Mars 2014), en particulier la nourriture. Espérons que le nouveau gestionnaire pourra changer cela. Besoin de plus de places assises au salon du hall.

Relaxing Holiday My wife and I were 1-8 Dec 2014, Overal the quality went down since the last time we were there (March 2014), especially the food. Hopefully the new manager can change that. Need more seating capacity at the lobby lounge.

Playa Cayo Santa Maria: Étonnamment bon !

Premier endroit, selon mon expérience, où il y avait suffisamment d'endroits ombragés à la plage et à la piscine, pas de bagarres. Le personnel était poli et amical, le personnel désireux de satisfaire les clients. La chambre était confortable et propre. La nourriture était abondante et savoureuse. Nous reviendrons à coup sûr !

Surprisingly good! First place in my experience where there were enough shady spots at the beach and at the pool, no fighting. The staff was polite and friendly, the staff eager to please the clients. The room was comfortable and clean. The food was plentiful and tasty. We will be back for sure!

Memories Paraiso: Belle station balnéaire

J'ai vraiment aimé cet hôtel, les gens étaient très gentils, aimables et très serviables, je le recommanderai à ma famille et à mes amis, tout était parfait et propre, le service était incroyable, il y avait beaucoup de spectacles et d'activités ....

Beautiful resort I really like this hotel the people were very nice , kind and very helpfull i will recomended to my family and friends everything was perfect and clean the service was amazing so many shows and activities ....

Gran Muthu Cayo Santa Maria: endroit agréable

l'hôtel était bien entretenu, avec un bon service et de la bonne musique. les spectacles étaient corrects. les bars à glace étaient une touche agréable. l'excursion en catamaran a été appréciée. les chariots à la carte étaient satisfaisants. il faut faire attention où l'on marche, ils se déplacent dans les allées avec des chariots électriques et on ne les entend pas arriver.

nice place was well maintained , good service and some good music. shows were okay. ice cream bars were a nice touch . enjoyed the catamaran excursion. was satisfied with the a- la -cartes , have to watch where you walk they zip around the walkways in electric carts and you don't hear them coming.

Valentin Perla Blanca: Bon mais à améliorer

Le terrain de l'hôtel était bien entretenu. La plage est belle et différente avec des rochers qui l'entourent, ce qui est la principale raison pour laquelle nous avons choisi le Valentin. Cependant, il y avait un certain nombre de petites choses à améliorer, c'est pourquoi l'hôtel n'est pas encore à la hauteur des standards d'un complexe 5 étoiles.

Good but needs improvement The hotel grounds was well kept. The beach is beautiful and different with rocks surrounding it which is the main reason why we chose the Valentin. However, there were a lit of minor things that requires improvement which is why this is not up to the standards of a 5 star resort yet.

Memories Paraiso: Des vacances décentes !

Ce n'était vraiment pas mal du tout pour Cuba ! La plage était parfaite, sable blanc et poudreux, eaux bleues cristallines... La nourriture était "cubaine" mais il y avait des tonnes d'options. Nous avons été très ennuyés par le fait qu'ils couvrent tous les légumes de bacon... Ils pourraient avoir de bons plats végétariens mais pour une raison ou une autre, ils aiment saupoudrer de porc tout ce qu'ils mangent ! Nous avons demandé à ce qu'ils préparent des plats végétariens et ils ont été ravis  [... lire plus]de le faire ! Le plus gros problème (pour nous) dans ce complexe (comme dans quelques autres que nous avons visités à Cuba) est qu'ils ne répondent pas au téléphone... Ma fille a essayé de nous appeler du Canada plus de 15 fois (c'était important) et personne n'a décroché le téléphone... jamais. Dans l'ensemble, ce fut une expérience agréable et nous reviendrons !

Decent Vacation! It was really not bad at all for Cuba! The beach was perfect, white powdery sand, crystal blue waters.. The food was "Cuba" but tons of options. We did get really annoyed that they cover all of the vegetables in bacon.. They could have some great vegetarian but for some reason, they love to sprinkle pig on everything! We requested they prepare some vegetarian dishes & they were happy to do so! The biggest problem (for us) at this resort (like a few others we visited in Cuba) is that they do not answer their phones… My daughter tried calling us from Canada 15+ times (it was important) and no one picked up the phone. ever. Overall, it was a lovely experience and we will return!

Playa Cayo Santa Maria: À couper le souffle !

La plage de ce complexe est incroyable. Les installations sont impeccables et le personnel est formidable. La nourriture n'était pas très bonne, mais ce n'est pas ce que je voulais. Il n'y a pas beaucoup d'excursions à faire, mais si vous cherchez à vous détendre, c'est le paradis...

Breathtaking! This resorts beach was incredible. The amenities were spotless, and the staff were amazing. The food wasn't that great, but that's not what I went for. There isn't a lot to do excursion wise, but if you are looking for relaxation this is heaven...

Melia Las Dunas: Satisfaisant.....nécessite un lifting

J'ai trouvé le complexe trop grand à mon goût. Les salles de bains ont grand besoin d'être rénovées. La piscine pour adultes était très agréable. La nourriture était bonne pour les standards cubains. Le personnel était pour la plupart très amical et arrangeant. J'ai trouvé qu'il fallait "demander" des choses, surtout aux cartes ..... Il fallait demander du guacamole, de la margarita, du saké, il fallait demander ...... Ces choses devraient être offertes.

Satisfactory.....needs a facelift I found the resort too large for my liking. The bathrooms are in major need of updating. The adult pool was very nice. The food was good for Cuba standards. The staff for the most part were very friendly and accommodating. I found you had to "ask' for items especially at the A la cartes....had to ask for guacamole, had to ask for margarita, had to ask for sake, had to ask.....these things should be offered.

Royalton Cayo Santa Maria: Paradis

Le personnel était très sympathique et notre majordome était à notre disposition du matin au soir La nourriture était très bonne, des quesidias à la plage au poulet, bœuf et homard à la piscine. Les dîners étaient à mourir, des repas gastronomiques ! Le seul inconvénient était les eaux agitées, le drapeau rouge tous les jours, mais c'était à prévoir compte tenu de la période de l'année. On nous a dit que l'océan est comme du verre en janvier et février. La propriété était juste de la bonne taill [... lire plus]e pour créer une atmosphère familiale, nous avons fait la connaissance de tant de personnes Le Royalton a rempli toutes les conditions de notre liste de souhaits !

Paradise Where do I start.The grounds were meticulous.the staff were so friendly and our butler was at our beck and call from morn til night! The food was very good from the quesidias at the beach to the chicken,beef and lobster at the pool.Dinner was to die for,gourmet meals !The only downfall were the rough waters ,red flag every day.However this was to be expected given the time of year.We were told the ocean is like glass in January and February . The property was just the right size to make it a family atmosphere,we got to know so many people The Royalton clicked all the boxes on our wish list!

Le complexe est magnifique. Le terrain était magnifiquement aménagé et des jardiniers étaient présents tous les jours. Les chambres étaient très spacieuses et propres. Le personnel était très aimable et serviable. La piscine et la plage étaient magnifiques. Je qualifierais la nourriture de médiocre. La nourriture n'était pas chaude et n'était parfois pas assez bien cuite. Dans l'ensemble, je recommanderais ce complexe à quelqu'un qui veut s'éloigner de tout et se détendre sur une plage et qui n' [... lire plus]est pas vraiment intéressé par la nourriture.

Beautiful resort The resort was beautiful. The grounds were landscaped beautifully with gardeners out everyday. The rooms were very spacious and clean. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The pool and the beach were amazing. The food I would rate as poor. The food was not hot and was sometimes not cooked well enough. Overall I would recommend this resort to someone who wants to get away from it all and to relax on a beach and who is not really interested in eating that much.

Playa Cayo Santa Maria: Un endroit génial pour pas cher !

Nous avons séjourné au Playa Cayo S.M. du 28 novembre au 5 décembre 2014. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Les chambres étaient propres et confortables et le terrain était magnifique. Bien entretenu par les jardiniers. Le personnel était merveilleux et amical. La plage était magnifique. Le sable blanc s'étend sur des kilomètres. Il y avait 4 piscines et elles étaient toutes merveilleuses. Les piscines étaient un peu fraîches. Le buffet était bon mais pas très varié. J'ai eu l'impression de  [... lire plus]manger la même chose tous les jours, mais je n'ai jamais eu faim. Les chariots à la carte étaient bons. Dans l'ensemble, c'est un endroit idéal pour passer une semaine avec un petit budget :)

Great place for cheap! We stayed at the Playa Cayo S.M. from Nov 28 to Dec 5 2014. We had a great time. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the grounds were beautiful. Well maintained by the gardeners. The staff was wonderful and friendly. The beach was stunning. White sands stretching for miles. There were 4 pools and all of them were wonderful. The pools were a bit chilly. The buffet was good but not a great variety. Seemed to eat the same thing everyday but never left hungry. The a la carts were good. Overall, it is a great place to go to for a week on a low budget. :)

Melia Las Dunas: Presque incroyable !

- il faudrait plus de restaurants ouverts 24 heures sur 24 - la nourriture était correcte, demandez toujours "bien cuit" ou votre nourriture sera crue - de minuscules fourmis dans les toilettes de notre chambre - la plupart du personnel était sympathique et formidable (Yunel au buffet, Lazara à la pizzeria, Roberto au bar du hall, et la plupart des jardiniers sont fantastiques) - les divertissements pourraient être meilleurs - le terrain est magnifique (propre et bien entretenu) - besoin d'un ad [... lire plus]aptateur électrique (personne ne nous l'a dit avant de partir) - le trajet en bus depuis l'aéroport jusqu'à l'hôtel est très long

Almost amazing! - need more 24hr restaurants - food was ok, always ask for well done or your food will be raw - tiny, minuscule ants in the washroom of our room - most of the staff was friendly and terrific (Yunel at the buffet, Lazara at the pizzeria, Roberto at the lobby bar, and most of the gardeners ant fantastic) - entertainment could be better - grounds are beautiful (clean and well kept) - need a power adapter (no one told us this before going) - far bus ride to the resort from the airport

Playa Cayo Santa Maria: Grand centre de villégiature !

Quel beau centre de villégiature. C'est un endroit merveilleux pour les célibataires ou les familles. Il y a beaucoup à faire et à voir. Les piscines étaient très bien entretenues. Le complexe est propre. Les chambres étaient belles et le personnel était très serviable, si vous aviez besoin d'aide. Vous pouvez changer votre argent à l'aéroport ou à la banque de l'hôtel. Les 7 bars proposent une grande variété de boissons. Il y en a pour tous les goûts. Avec ou sans alcool. Vous devez absolument  [... lire plus]essayer les Latte's dans le bar du salon. Ils sont incroyables. Essayez autant de restaurants que possible, car le buffet peut devenir répétitif. Je recommande les restaurants italiens ou internationaux. Le grill au bord de l'océan est excellent pour le déjeuner. Bon voyage !

Great Resort!! What a beautiful resort. The resort is a wonderful place for singles or families. Lots to do and see. The pools were very well kept. The resort was clean. The rooms were nice, and the staff was very helpful, if you required assistance. You can change your money at the airport or the hotel bank. The 7 bars have a wonderful variety of drinks to choose from. Something for everyone. Alcohol or non-alcohol. You must try the Latte's in the lounge bar. They are amazing. Try as many of the restaurants as you can, as the buffet can become repetitive. I would recommend the Italian or International restaurants. The grill down by the ocean is great for lunch. Have a great trip!

Melia Cayo Santa Maria: Pas un cinq étoiles ! !!

Dans l'ensemble, les gens étaient très gentils. Cependant, si vous vous attendez à ce que cet endroit soit un cinq étoiles, ce n'est pas le cas. L'hôtel a l'air très vieux. Le buffet était très répétitif, les meilleurs endroits pour manger étaient les restaurants japonais et français à la carte. La plage était très sale et le temps venteux. Dans l'ensemble, nous avons eu une expérience correcte, les gens valent le voyage ici. Ne vous attendez pas non plus à ce que votre chambre soit super propre [... lire plus]. Nous devions constamment appeler pour obtenir des serviettes et notre réfrigérateur.

Not a Five star !!! Overall the people were really nice. However if you expect this place to be a five star it is not. Very old looking hotel. The buffet was very repetitive, the best food places were the Japanese and the French al carte. The beach was very dirty and the weather was windy. Overall we had an ok experience, the people are worth the trip here. Don't expect your room to be super clean either. We would have to call constantly for towels, and our fridge.

Les logements étaient très agréables et très propres. Une excellente retraite pour moi et mon épouse. Je recommanderais sans hésiter cet hôtel

Just a Great Time All featues of the hotel were definitely to our liking. The staff were very friendly. More that enough food. We enjoyed the entertainment. Accomodations were very pleasant and very clean. A great retreat for me and my wife. I would definitely reccomend this hotel

Les chambres étaient très propres et la nourriture était à la hauteur de nos espérances. Le terrain était très bien entretenu. Il n'y a rien à redire sur cette station et nous y retournerons

C'est la deuxième fois que nous venons ici cette année, nous sommes revenus parce que le complexe est très propre et bien entretenu, et que le personnel est formidable. La nourriture est bonne et les plages sont les plus belles que j'aie jamais vues à Cuba. Nous avons hâte de revenir l'année prochaine.

Awesome Resort This is our second time here this year, we came back because the resort is so clean and well kept, and the staff is amazing. The food is good, and the beaches are the most beautiful that I have ever seen in Cuba. We look forward to returning again next year.

Tout était bien sauf le service de navette.il y avait un homme de plus de 80 ans dans notre groupe, des problèmes de genoux et nous n'avons pas pu empêcher une navette de passer à côté de nous avec seulement deux jeunes à bord.le dernier jour ils ont dû marcher jusqu'au hall avec leurs valises,la navette que nous avions demandée n'est jamais venue.

Beautiful resort Everything was o.k.exept getting a service of a shuttle.there was a man over 80 years old in our party, knee problems and we could not stop a shuttle whining by us with only two young people on boArd.the last day they have to walk to the lobby with their suitcases ,shuttle that we requested never came.

Melia Las Dunas: Un grand moment de détente

Nous avons vraiment apprécié cette première expérience dans un centre de villégiature tout compris. Nous sommes des routards et c'était un changement de rythme agréable, choyé et reposant. Nous recommandons vivement d'y aller à la mi-novembre. Excellent prix ! Temps chaud et ensoleillé. Le complexe était à peu près à moitié plein et le service était très bon. Le personnel essayait toujours de nous faire plaisir, les autres résidents étaient si gentils. Notre chambre au deuxième étage du bâtiment [... lire plus] 47 était calme, avait une vue sur l'eau, était proche de la piscine pour adultes et de la plage, et à seulement 5 minutes à pied du hall et des restaurants. Les animations en soirée étaient très bonnes. Le café du matin dans le hall était à tomber par terre. Notre chambre était propre, il y avait toujours quelque chose de délicieux à manger pour nous (je suis végétarienne), et les boissons du bar étaient super délicieuses ! La plage est la meilleure sur la bande de stations locales. Merci à Teresa Gates de Trip Central de nous avoir recommandé Melia Las Dunas Santa Maria !

A great relaxing time We really enjoyed this first time ever to an all inclusive resort. We are backpackers so this was a lovely pampered, restful change of pace. Highly recommend going mid November. Excellent price! Hot sunny weather. The resort was approximately half full and service was very good. Staff were always trying to please us, other resorters were so nice. Our building 47 second floor room was quiet, had a view of water, was close to the quiet adult pool and beach, and only 5 min walk to lobby and restaurants. The evening entertainment was very good. Lobby morning coffee drinks were to-die-for. Our room was clean, there was always something delicious for us to eat (I'm a vegetarian), and the bar drinks were super delish! The beach is the best on the strip of local resorts. Thanks to Teresa Gates at Trip Central for recommending Melia Las Dunas Santa Maria to us!
