Grand Palladium Colonial: Grand voyage

Le complexe était très agréable, bien entretenu et propre. Je ne m'attendais pas à ce qu'il soit si grand. Les trois complexes sont très proches les uns des autres, de sorte que l'on a l'impression d'être dans un seul endroit gigantesque. Il y a des navettes qui vous emmènent d'un lobby à l'autre, mais j'ai eu du mal à en trouver. Il semble qu'il y ait plus de navettes garées que de navettes en marche. Beaucoup d'options pour la nourriture. Nous n'avons pas eu faim. La plage était petite mais le [... lire plus]s piscines étaient agréables. La piscine principale du colonial semblait être très occupée tout le temps, mais j'ai pu trouver un endroit tranquille pour s'asseoir à la piscine du sable blanc. Le divertissement était juste correct, c'était les mêmes danseurs tous les soirs et il était évident que certains d'entre eux ne connaissaient pas du tout les danses. Dans l'ensemble, c'était un voyage génial et je le recommanderais à une famille ou à un groupe qui cherche beaucoup d'activités autour de la station.

Great trip The resort was very nice, well kept and clean. I was not expecting it to be so big. The three resorts are very close together so it feels like you are a one giant place. There are shuttles the take you from lobby to lobby but had a hard time finding any to take. Looked like there were more parked then out driving people around. Lots of options for food. Definitely didn’t go hungry. The beach was small but the pools were nice. The main pool at the colonial seemed to be very busy all the time but was able to find a nice quiet spot to sit at the white sands pool. The entertainment was just okay, it was the same dancers every night and it was obvious some of them didn’t know the dances well at all. Overall it was an awesome trip and would recommend to a family or group who are looking for lots of activities around the resort.

Breathless Riviera Cancun: Breathless Punta Cana bien meilleur

J'ai voyagé dans toutes les Caraïbes et j'ai visité deux fois le Breathless Punta Cana, j'ai donc pensé essayer le Cancun Riviera. Je n'aurais pas donné une critique aussi élogieuse. La propriété dispose d'un personnel formidable qui travaille dur pour que vous vous sentiez les bienvenus. On ne peut pas en dire autant de la direction qui est impolie et abrupte. On m'a facturé un nettoyage supplémentaire de ma chambre à cause d'une coupure qui avait taché les draps et un oreiller. C'était d'a [... lire plus]utant plus désagréable que la plupart du temps, je devais appeler pour faire nettoyer ma chambre. La nourriture a quelques points forts avec les restaurants italien et japonais. Le restaurant mexicain et le buffet étaient très mauvais. Je ne suis pas non plus du genre à me plaindre de la nourriture. Les barmans étaient formidables et des alcools de qualité étaient disponibles. La propriété est très agréable. Il y a deux piscines accessibles pour ceux qui ne séjournent pas au Xhale club. L'une des piscines était tellement techno à haut volume avec la même musique tous les jours que vous avez eu mal à la tête. L'autre piscine était très fréquentée par des personnes très ivres. Je suis un gars qui aime s'amuser et se laisser aller, mais cet endroit ressemblait presque à un spring break. J'aime beaucoup le peuple mexicain et les employés de ce complexe. La direction qui est têtue et qui n'écoute pas, pas tant que ça !

Breathless Punta Cana much better I have travelled all over the carribean and have twice visited Breathless Punta Cana so I thought I would give the Cancun Riviera a try. I would not give it as glaring a review. The property has great staff and they work hard to make you feel welcome. That can not be said about the management who are rude and abrupt. I was charged for extra cleaning of my room because of a cut I had that stained sheets and a pillow. This was made much more agrevating by fact that most days I had to call to get room cleaned. The food has some high points with Italian and Japanese restaurants. The Mexican and the Buffet were very bad. I am not a food complainer either. Bartenders were amazing and top shelf liquor was available. Property very nice. There are two accessible pools for those that don't stay at Xhale club. One pool was so high volume techno beat with same music everyday you got a headache. The other pool was very crowded with very drunk people. I am a guy who likes to have a good time and let loose but this place was almost like spring break. I really love the Mexican people and the workers at this resort. The management who are stubborn don't listen not so much!

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Voyage d'agrément

Tout était conforme à nos attentes. Bon service, bonne nourriture et très propre. Merci d'avoir passé un bon moment. Notre transport était toujours à l'heure. Les chambres ont été nettoyées tous les jours. Nous aurions aimé une plage plus proche... mais les piscines étaient incroyables. Nous prévoyons un autre voyage.

Fun trip Everything was what we had hoped it would be. Good service, food and very clean. Thank you for a great time. Our transportation was always on time. Rooms cleaned every day. We would of like a closer beach...but the pools were amazing. We are planning on another trip.

Je suis un voyageur averti de 70 ans qui a visité 93 pays au cours de ses 55 années de voyage. Les commentaires que j'ai lus étaient si exceptionnels que j'étais sceptique. Ce centre de villégiature était encore meilleur que les commentaires. C'est le meilleur complexe tout compris que j'aie jamais vu, où que ce soit, à n'importe quel prix. Très décontracté. Clientèle canadienne, européenne et sud-américaine sophistiquée, réservée aux adultes. Exceptionnellement bien géré à tous points de vue. P [... lire plus]as de file d'attente. Pas de réservation pour quoi que ce soit. Il suffit d'entrer dans l'un des nombreux restaurants ou buffets à thème. Pas de file d'attente pour les bars ou la réception. Très bonne nourriture. Nombreuses cuisines. Grandes suites. Plage d'environ 3 km, principalement bordée par la jungle, plutôt que par des gratte-ciel. C'est le seul complexe de toute taille sur la plage, bien qu'il ne soit pas très grand. Il est creusé dans la mangrove et la forêt tropicale qui constituent une zone écologique à travers laquelle les visiteurs se promènent sur une promenade. Les oiseaux et les mammifères sont nombreux. Le restaurant oriental, en particulier, est magnifique, en plein air dans la forêt tropicale, à côté d'un grand étang à poissons. Il n'y a rien de négatif à dire sur ce complexe.

Awesome all-inclusive I am a 70-year-old sophisticated traveller who has been in 93 countries over my 55 years of travel. The reviews I read were so exceptional that I was skeptical. This resort was even better than the reviews. It's the best all-inclusive resort I have ever seen, anywhere, at any price range. Very laid back. Sophisticated Canadian, European and South American adults only clientele. Exceptionally well managed in every way. No queues. No reservations for anything. Simply walk in to any of the many themed restaurants or buffets. No queues for bars or front desk. Very good food. Numerous cuisines. Large suites. Beach of about two miles, mostly fringed by jungle, rather than high rises. This is the only resort of any size on the beach, though it itself is not large. It is carved out of mangrove swamp and rainforest that provides an ecological area through which guests walk on a boardwalk. The birds and mammals are plentiful. The oriental restaurant in particular is stunning, open air in the rainforest next to a large fish pond. There is nothing negative to be said about this resort.

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Merveilleuses vacances

C'était la deuxième fois que mon mari et moi visitions cet hôtel. La nourriture est abondante et fantastique. Le service de restauration est très amical et le personnel est très compétent. Nous avons eu la chance de bénéficier d'un surclassement dans une suite avec vue sur l'océan. Ce surclassement a considérablement amélioré notre séjour. Chaque matin, nous prenions des photos du lever du soleil et de la vue sur la plage. Avant le surclassement, notre vue se résumait à la jungle. Un peu  [... lire plus]décevant.

Wonderful Holiday This was the second time my husband and I visited this hotel. The food is plentiful and fantastic. The restaurant service is very friendly and staff are very knowledgeable. We were fortunate to receive a room upgrade to a suite over looking the ocean. This upgrade definitely enhanced our stay. Every morning we would take pictures of the sun rise and the beach view. Prior to the room upgrade, our view consisted of the jungle. A bit disappointing.

Iberostar Selection Paraiso Maya Suites: Le Paraiso Maya est parfait pour nous !

Nous revenons de notre 48ème visite. Oui, 48 fois. Ce n'est pas une faute de frappe. Il y a tout ce que nous voulons. Pas trop loin de l'aéroport, une très longue plage pour se promener, des températures chaudes même pendant un vortex polaire, un personnel exceptionnellement amical, une excellente nourriture, des chambres très agréables et propres, un golf, une nouvelle salle de sport avec de très beaux équipements et des entraîneurs compétents, une variété de choix de télévision, le WIFI gratui [... lire plus]t et toujours beaucoup d'autres personnes agréables avec lesquelles passer du temps, dont beaucoup sont déjà venues de nombreuses fois auparavant. Ah oui, et pour tous ceux qui, comme moi, ne sont pas des amateurs d'alcool, il y a de la glace à volonté.

Paraiso Maya is perfect for us! Just returned from our 48th visit. Yes, 48 times. Not a typo. It has everything we want. Not too far from the airport, a very long beach for walking, warm temperatures even during a polar vortex, exceptionally friendly staff, great food, very nice & clean rooms, golf, a new gym with very nice equipment & knowledgeable trainers, a variety of TV choices, free WIFI and always plenty of other nice people to spend time with, many of whom have also been there lots of times before. Oh yeah - and for all of you like me, that are not booze hounds, all the ice cream you can eat.

Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: Bonnes vacances

Nous avons séjourné à Sandos du 23 au 30 janvier. Comme dans tous les endroits où l'on va, il y a le bon, le mauvais et le laid. C'était la sixième fois que je venais à Playa Del Carmen, et nous adorons cet endroit. Nous allons toujours dans des stations différentes parce que nous aimons avoir de nouveaux endroits à explorer. Le bon : Ce complexe est immense, immense, immense. Juste au moment où vous pensez avoir tout vu, vous trouvez un nouveau sentier qui vous emmène dans un nouvel e [... lire plus]ndroit à explorer. Le cadre est absolument magnifique, en pleine jungle, au milieu des mangroves, des cénotes, des cascades, et des tonnes de feuillage avec de nombreux animaux. Ceci étant dit, il y a effectivement des moustiques....its à prévoir. Nous avons apporté de l'insecticide, mais il y a aussi de nombreux distributeurs de lotion anti-moustiques dans tout l'hôtel. Les animaux sont partout, c'est génial ! Les animaux de la ferme de sauvetage étaient si mignons, les coatis partout, de nombreux types d'oiseaux, les chiens mexicains sans poils.... tellement d'animaux ! Les singes étaient hilarants. Nous avons vu 3 singes ouvrir une porte moustiquaire, entrer dans une chambre, jouer sur le lit, voler leur nourriture et renverser leur table avant de partir précipitamment lol. Certains membres du personnel nous ont dit que des singes étaient entrés dans les chambres et avaient pris des magazines, des lunettes de soleil et même des téléphones portables. Nous avons été surclassés dans la section réservée aux adultes et nous avons estimé que cela valait la peine de payer plus cher. Notre chambre était absolument magnifique et immense, avec un jacuzzi sur notre balcon. Nous n'avons eu aucun problème avec notre chambre. La fontaine d'eau dans la chambre était un bonus agréable. Je recommande d'apporter une bouteille d'eau avec vous, juste pour que vous n'ayez pas à prendre un gobelet à chaque fois que vous voulez de l'eau. Avec le surclassement réservé aux adultes, nous avons également eu accès à un restaurant tranquille pour le petit-déjeuner et le déjeuner. C'était génial parce que le premier matin, nous sommes allés au buffet principal et il était très fréquenté, et les gens qui s'y trouvaient agissaient comme si c'était la seule nourriture qu'ils auraient pour le reste de la semaine..... très impolis, insistants et odieux ! C'est un buffet, calmez-vous....il y aura plus de nourriture ! Nous avions également accès au clubhouse près de la plage, ce qui était génial. Ils font les meilleures boissons là-bas ! Et en milieu d'après-midi, il y avait beaucoup de snacks à grignoter (ailes de poulet, sandwichs, salades, etc.), une table de billard et des livres à l'étage également. Je recommande le surclassement si vous ne voyagez pas avec des enfants. Le personnel, partout où nous sommes allés, a été formidable. Nous n'avons jamais rencontré quelqu'un qui n'était pas heureux et poli. Le mauvais : Si vous cherchez une belle plage de sable pour vous baigner, ce n'est pas le cas. Il y a beaucoup de rochers dans l'eau jusqu'à ce qu'on s'éloigne. Nous avons lu tous les commentaires et nous sommes venus avec des chaussures d'eau, donc cela ne nous a pas dérangés du tout. Et comme le bord de l'eau est très naturel, on peut voir tous les poissons tropicaux juste au bord de l'eau. Nous avons également pu voir des oursins lorsque la marée est descendue ! C'est vraiment génial. Si vous marchez quelques minutes le long de la plage dans les deux sens, il y a beaucoup d'endroits plus faciles pour se baigner. Par ailleurs, le nombre de fois où l'on nous a demandé si nous voulions un massage, que ce soit de la part du personnel de l'hôtel ou des autres personnes qui proposaient des massages à côté de l'hôtel, était à la limite du ridicule ! Je comprends qu'ils essaient d'attirer des clients.....mais une personne allongée sur la plage ou en train de nager n'est pas intéressée par un massage à ce moment-là. Et ce n'est pas en demandant 7, 8, 9 fois que cela va changer ! La laideur : Nous n'avons pas eu à nous plaindre de la nourriture des restaurants, mais au milieu de notre séjour, mon mari a été victime de ce que nous croyons être une intoxication alimentaire (vomissements violents et diarrhée qui ont duré 3 jours). Nous avons bu toutes les mêmes boissons et mangé pratiquement la même nourriture. Nous avons déterminé que sa maladie provenait du restaurant italien du dîner, où nous n'avons pas mangé la même chose. J'ai commandé du poulet parm sur le menu (qui était bon) mais mon mari a simplement mangé les pizzas du buffet. Ce n'était vraiment pas une bonne expérience et nous avons perdu beaucoup de temps pendant nos vacances parce qu'il était malade. Nous n'avions jamais connu cela ailleurs. Ma seule autre plainte concerne le service en chambre. Le premier soir de notre arrivée, nous ne sommes arrivés dans la chambre qu'à presque 23 heures. Nous avons décidé de commander le service d'étage vers 1 heure du matin. Mon mari a pris un hamburger et moi des fajitas. Les deux étaient très, très bons. Après avoir été malade pendant deux jours, mon mari commençait à avoir faim parce qu'il n'avait pas mangé ..... Nous avons donc commandé le service d'étage vers 18 h. Il a pris un club sandwich et moi des fajitas. Il a pris le club sandwich, et j'ai commandé des nachos et une quesadilla. Son sandwich était pathétique, le pain était dur, 1 minuscule tomate au centre de tout le pain et 1 minuscule morceau de poulet (j'ai pris des photos). J'ai eu environ 10 nachos avec un énorme bol de guac et ma quesadilla était essentiellement une tortilla frite vide. C'était assez décevant. Le service de fin de soirée était 100x meilleur. Dans l'ensemble, nous avons passé de bonnes vacances ici. Nous avons adoré l'hôtel et le personnel, mais avec lui qui est tombé malade comme ça, nous ne sommes honnêtement pas sûrs de revenir dans cet hôtel juste pour cette raison. Les vacances sont trop précieuses et trop chères pour tomber malade pendant qu'on y est, et aucun de nous n'a jamais été malade ailleurs.

Nice Vacation We stayed at Sandos from January 23 - January 30. As with every place you go to, there is the good, the bad and the ugly. This was my 6th time in Playa Del Carmen, as we absolutely love it here. We always go to different resorts because we enjoy having new areas to explore. The good: This resort is huge, huge, huge. Just when you think you have seen it all, you find a new trail that takes you somewhere new to explore. The setting is absolutely beautiful, set right in the jungle amidst mangroves, cenotes, waterfalls, and tons of foliage with numerous animals. With that being said, yes there are mosquito's....its to be expected. We brought bug spray with us, however there are numerous dispensers around the resort with bug lotion as well. The animals everywhere was so awesome! The rescue farm animals were so cute, coatis everywhere, many types of birds, mexican hairless dogs....so many animals! The monkeys were hilarious. But people need to remember these are very smart animals....keep your patio doors shut if you are not in your room (not just the screen) We watched 3 monkeys open a screen door, enter a room, play on the bed, steal their food and tip over their table before they left in a hurry lol. We were told by some staff that monkeys have enter rooms and taken magazines, sun glasses and even cell phones. We upgraded to the Adult only section and felt it was worth the extra money. Our room was absolutely beautiful and huge with a Jacuzzi on our balcony. We had zero issues with our room at all. The in room water cooler was a nice bonus. I recommend bringing a water bottle with you, just so you don't have to get a cup every time you want water. With the adult only upgrade we also had access to a nice quiet restaurant for breakfast & lunch. This was great because the first morning we went to the main buffet and it was super busy, and the people in there acted like this was the only food they would be getting for the rest of the week.....very rude, pushy and obnoxious! Its a buffet people, calm down....there will be more food! We also had access to the clubhouse by the beach which was awesome. They make the best drinks down there!! And mid afternoon there was lots of snacks to munch on (chicken wings, sandwiches, salads etc) pooltable and books upstairs as well. I recommend the upgrade if you aren't travelling with children. The staff everywhere we went were all great. We never ran into anyone who wasn't happy and polite. The bad: If you are looking for a nice sandy beach to swim in, this isn't it. There is lots of rocks in the water until you get out farther. We did read all the reviews and came prepared with water shoes so this didn't bother us at all. And because the water edge is so natural you can actually see all the tropical fish right at the edge of the water. We also got to see Sea Urchins when the tide went out! So cool. If you walk a few mins down the beach either way there is lots of easier areas to get in a swim. Also the amount of times we were asked if we wanted a massage both from the resort staff, and the other people who offered massages just beside the resort was verging on ridiculous! I get they are trying to drum up business.....but anyone laying on the beach or swimming isn't interested in a massage right then. And asking 7, 8, 9 times isn't going to change that! The ugly: We had zero complaints with any of the food from the restaurants, however half way through our stay my husband came down with what we believe was food poisoning (violent throwing up and diaherra that lasted for 3 days). We drank all the same drinks, and basically ate the same food. We narrowed down his sickness to coming from the Italian restaurant from dinner, where we didn't eat the same. I ordered chicken parm off the menu (which was good) but my husband just ate the pizzas off the buffet. It was definitely not a good experience and we lost a lot of time out of our holiday because he was sick. We've never experienced this before anywhere else. My only other complaint was about the room service. The first night we arrived we didn't get to the room til almost 11pm. We decided to order room service around 1am. My husband got a burger, and I got fajitas. Both were very, very good. So after my husband was sick for 2 days, he was starting to get hungry because he hadn't eaten ....so we ordered room service around 6pm. He got the club sandwich, and I ordered nachos and a quesadilla. His sandwich was pathetic, bread was hard, 1 tiny tomato in the center of all the bread and 1 tiny piece of chicken (I did take pictures) I got about 10 nachos with a huge bowl of guac and my quesadilla was basically an empty fried tortilla. Was pretty disappointing. The late night service was 100x better. Overall we had a nice vacation here. We loved the resort and the staff, but with him getting sick like that we honestly aren't sure if we would return to this resort just for that reason. Vacation time is too precious, and too expensive to get sick while on it., and neither of us have ever gotten sick anywhere else.

Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: Remarquable

Un grand complexe, une nourriture superbe, une plage magnifique, de belles chambres, des restaurants exquis, un service amical... honnêtement, tout était merveilleux... la seule chose qui aurait été plus agréable aurait été d'avoir des salons supplémentaires à la plage... à part cela, notre voyage a été fantastique... que peut-on demander de plus...

Outstanding Great resort, supurb food, georgeous beach, beautiful rooms, exquisite restaurants, friendly service... honestly everything was wonderful... only thing that would have been nicer would be to have extra lounges at the beach... other that that our trip was Fantastic.. what more could anyone ask for...

The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences Playa Del Carmen: la période de notre vie

Nous étions un groupe de quatorze voisins et nous avons passé le meilleur moment, le service était amical et nos chambres étaient immaculées. Les piscines étaient superbes et il y avait beaucoup de choses à faire à la plage, qui était également très propre. Le personnel du bar de la piscine s'est surpassé pour nous satisfaire. time of our lives We were a group of fourteen neighbors and we had the best time, service was friendly and our rooms were kept immaculate. The pools were great, and lots of things to do at the beach, which again was very clean. The food was outstanding, never a dull moment for any meal. the staff at the pool bar went above and beyond to keep us happy. I would come back to this resort in a heartbeat. Bravo!

Grand Palladium Colonial: Une expérience très agréable !

Je suis allée au Grand Paladium Colonial avec mon mari et mon fils de cinq ans. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié. La nourriture à la carte était excellente ! Le buffet était bien équipé et très varié. Le terrain était charmant et bien entretenu. L'emplacement de la station était également très bien ! Nous avions un accès immédiat à la piscine pour enfants, à la piscine principale et à l'océan. Le bar de la piscine était situé dans un endroit à part, de sorte que ceux qui aimaient boire beaucoup avai [... lire plus]ent leur espace. Nous avions également accès à deux autres complexes hôteliers, ce qui signifie que nous n'avons pas eu à manger deux fois au même endroit. L'hôtel est grand, mais cela n'a pas été un inconvénient pour nous. Après avoir visité plusieurs complexes, celui-ci était de loin notre préféré. Nous y retournerions sans hésiter. Hautement recommandé !

Highly enjoyable experience! Went to Grand Paladium Colonial with my husband and five year old. Greatly enjoyed ourselves. The food at the a-la-cartes was great! The buffet was well-appointed with great variety. The grounds were lovely and well kept. The way the resort was situated was great too! In short distance, we had rather immediate access to the kids pool, the main pool and the ocean. The swim up bar was in its own spot so those who liked to drink a lot had their space. We had access to two other resorts as well which meant that we didn’t have to eat in the same place twice. It is large but that was not a detractor for us. Having visited a few resorts, this was hands down our favourite so far. We’d definitely go back. Highly recommended!

Air Transat à l'aller et au retour - très bon Transport terrestre - direct, très bien. Check In/out - très bien Chambre - emplacement central. Très bonne. Nourriture et service - très bien. Service de serviettes - très bon. Terrain - impeccable. Plage/piscine - Trop de concurrence pour une chaise longue et un parasol. Pas assez de chaises longues pour le nombre de clients. Personnel - très bon Service au bar - très bon. Divertissement - très bon.

Towel service - very good. Grounds - immaculate. Beach/Pool - Too much competition for a lounge chair and umbrella. Not enough loungers for the number of guests. Staff - very good Bar Service - very good. Entertainment - very good.

JOIA Paraiso by Iberostar: Les meilleurs

Les meilleures vacances de tous les temps. Nous revenons tout juste de notre voyage de vacances, ajusté avec l'aide de Tripcentral. C'était au-delà de toutes les attentes. L'aide des agents était très professionnelle et hautement qualifiée. J'ai reçu un maximum d'informations et de bons conseils sans perdre de temps. L'hôtel et le service sont exclusivement bons, au-delà de toutes nos attentes.

The best The best vacation ever. Risently we return back from our vacation trip, adjustad with help of Tripcentral. It was above all expectations. Agents help was very professional, highly qualified. I recieved max information and good advices without waist of time, Plus price was very loyal. Hotel and service are exclusively good, above all our expectations.Definitely recommend it for vacation.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Nous l'adorons !

C'est la cinquième fois que nous séjournons à Sian Ka'an et, comme par le passé, nous trouvons que c'est un endroit spécial. Le personnel, la nourriture et l'hébergement sont merveilleux et vous avez l'impression d'être un invité spécial. L'accès aux trois autres complexes hôteliers offre une grande variété d'options en matière de restauration, de piscine et de plage. Nous reviendrons certainement bientôt !

We love it! This is the 5th time we have stayed at Sian Ka'an and, as in the past, we find it a special place to stay. The staff, food and accommodation are wonderful and you feel like you are a special guest. Access to the 3 other sister resorts provides a great variety in dinning, pool and beach options. We will definitely return soon!

Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun: Notre 2ème séjour

L'hôtel est toujours excellent 2 ans après notre dernière visite. Nous avions une chambre très bruyante au 3ème étage où il y avait beaucoup de circulation tard dans la nuit, des ivrognes, des charrettes, etc. Nous avons demandé au Diamond Club si nous pouvions payer pour changer de chambre et il n'y avait aucune option disponible. Notre majordome Everisto était le meilleur que nous ayons eu. Les options de restauration étaient de première classe.

Our 2nd Stay Resort is still excellent 2 years after our last visit. We had a very noisy room on the 3rd floor which had a lot of late night traffic, drunks,carts,etc. We asked the Diamond Club if we could pay to change room and there were no available options. Our Butler Everisto was the best we have had. Food options were first class.

Catalonia Yucatan: RUN DOWN

C'était notre deuxième séjour au Catalonia Yucatan. la première fois nous avons adoré, la deuxième fois moins. Les chambres sont très fatiguées et la nourriture n'était certainement pas à la hauteur. L'hôtel s'adresse aux Français. Ce qui est un problème car nous ne le parlons pas. Le soir, dans le salon/bar, il y avait des soirées françaises et il n'y a pas d'autre salon où aller. J'aime l'emplacement car on peut aller à vélo jusqu'à la marina et prendre une bière et un repas dans l'un des re [... lire plus]staurants près de la zone des dauphins. Nous avons assisté au spectacle des dauphins et des lions de mer sans avoir à quitter le complexe.

This was our 2nd time at the Catalonia Yucatan. 1st time we loved it, 2nd time not so much. The rooms are very tired and food was certainly not up to par. The resort caters to French. Which is an issue as we don't speak it. At night in the lounge/bar area they had French night parties and there is no other lounge to go to. I love the location as you can ride a bike down to the marina and have beer and food at one of the restaurants by the dolphin area. We watched the dolphin and sea lion show and didn't have to leave the resort.

Catalonia Yucatan: déçu de notre deuxième visite

Nous avons été déçus par notre deuxième visite au Catalonia Yucatan. L'emplacement est génial et la plupart du personnel est très amical (y compris le personnel de service, les barmans et l'équipe de nettoyage, le personnel de la fête nous a pratiquement ignorés). Ce complexe a été récemment vendu à une société française et il est très clair qu'ils s'adressent aux clients francophones. Si vous ne parlez pas français, restez à l'écart. Nous voyageons dans le sud 2 à 3 fois par an et nous espério [... lire plus]ns en faire l'un de nos lieux de prédilection, mais en raison de cette mauvaise expérience, nous ne reviendrons pas dans cet endroit.

disappointed with our second visit We were disappointed with our second visit to Catalonia Yucatan. The location is awesome & most of the staff are so very friendly (including the wait staff, bartenders & cleaning crew, the party staff basically ignored us). This resort was recently sold to a French company and it is very clear that they cater to the French speaking guests. If you do not speak French, stay away. We travel south 2 - 3 times per year & were hoping to make this one of our "go to" places, due to this bad experience we will not return to this location.
